Brio Italian Grille in other cities:
SLOW service...2.5 hours. Food was room temperature with the sauce already set and pasta sticking together. It was redone. Server was super busy but avoided any eye contact and little contact at all. We had 6:30 reservations and were served our lukewarm food after 8. Once it was redone it tasted good.
Got hungry after shopping so stopped in for my favorite Wedge salad. Delicious as always. Decided to try the appetizer lamb chops, which I was very happy with.I am not a fan of marsala sauce so I had it placed on the side, although I did try the meat with a bit of sauce. I recommend doing this as I think the sauce would over power the taste of the lamb and gorgonzola.I asked for the lamb medium / medium-rare but it came out well. It was surprisingly tender and somewhat juicy, even being over cooked. The server was excellent, very attentive.I will always recommend Brios.
Excellent food and service! I had the salmon salad which was cooked perfectly. The salad was lovely and not drenched with dressing like som pla es. I swear to the Asparagus were thicker than my finger yet still perfectly cooked and tender. We ended the lunch with tiramissu and coffee. An excellent experience.
Their foods are good but very pricey. Customer service is awesome. One of my dishes was a Grilled Salmon Fresca ($24) and while I was eating it, I noticed that my salmon was not fully cooked yet, it was still raw in the center. The manager kindly replaced my plate with a new piece of salmon. ツ
Great happy hours m-f until 6:30pm . $5 apps (beef carpaccio, mozzarella salad , calamari ) and $5-6 drinks (Moscow mule , beers , etc)Update **covid*** 10/08/2020Haven’t came here for a while since beginning of covid. The happy hour is now until 6pm but it is open to all tables verses the prior only bar seats. It was nice to sit at the patio as the weather was nice and cool. They are getting ready for the colder weather by having huge heating machines in place. The happy hour menu has been condensed a little but still great . No more shrimp dish, now substituted for the hamburger which was tasty.4 appetizers - beef carpaccio, calamari, hamburger , tomato caprese2 beers2 glasses of wine$52 not bad
I made a 2p reservation this Sun. We got seated immediately. No one came to get us or even offer water. I tried to be patient and think it may be getting busy, but I notice staff was serving all around us. 30 min go by and still was never greeted so we got up and left. Never been treated like that. We went and got lobster and ate faster than we were sitting. Very disappointed.
The food is always good-service was almost unbearably slow but through no fault of the restaurant...definitely short staffed due to COVID. We had our dinner before we had our drinks, I get this is everywhere but FOH staff should still make an effort to acknowledge it.If you are planning to dine, make a reservation, no exceptions. We had a reservation but they were only seating half of the restaurant and the hostess was telling walk-ins it was a 2 hour wait on a Thursday night.
The food here was really good and the service was excellent. We made a reservation on open table and the process was very easy.Only thing, our kids Mac and cheese wasnt macaroni, but rigatoni. It was also plussed up to be a bit fancy. My son liked it but my daughter who is a picky eater didnt.
This was first time ordering from Polaris location but I wish we never did. So disappointed in service they provided for take out. Ordered 2 plates of calamari and it is just ridiculous what we got, clasters of breading and bannana papers, had to dig to find any calamari. Plus it was so little nothing even close to what they serve in restaurants. Last picture is what they serve in the restaurant.
The food was very good but the host was not at his station when we arrived. We had to find him. He told we might have a five to ten minute wait and then disappeared. The manager seated us.The bartender was doing double duty as a server/wait person. Understaffing can be a problem in these times. All in all, not a bad experience.I think well be back.Very good Spaghetti pomodoro.
Mildly disappointed. Our waitress greeted us and served us very well and the atmosphere was good. The foods ingredients were good but my chicken was badly burned and dried out. No plates to eat bread so lots of crumbs on the table. The staff wore masks but had their noses were out so whats the point? The greeting at the entrance could have been better with 3 people staring at each other with their hands in their pockets.
Date night.. not worth it.Service - good. Food - so-so. Drinks - excellent.I’ve been here numerous times, and every time up until now it’s been a pleasure.First step into the door with a date, and it’s a pile of dust. If you look into the lights… it’s like they haven’t been cleaned in eons. Specifically - the front light has some unidentifiable objects.. and a sign proudly sponsored by Brillo pasta(?). Service was friendly, and quick to seat. Considering it was after the rush, the place was not too busy and drinks/food fast to arrive. We both ordered alcoholic drinks which were tasty and well made. Entree wise, the food was OK at best. I thought ordering a staple soup would remedy the situation. Lobster Bisque… salty as a lick and clearly leftover from lunch. Not to mention there was barely any. Dessert, which was a caramel mascarpone cheesecake, was a smiler saver.Brio used to be my favorite as a kid. I remember the bisque tasting like a slice of heaven, and now it’s become a tier below the soup sold at Sam’s Club. It boggles my mind how Brio has only two $$’s(???). If I have to spend anywhere near $100 to eat out ($$$-$$$$), I expect that place to be well-maintained all around. I want food a chef actually taste tested before serving. But, you know, I think I understand. If you’re sponsored by Brillo pasta, one should expect grocery store samples like it’s Sunday. In the end, I’m flat out embarrassed to have recommended such an old favorite. I regret spending this much on such a mediocre experience. We don’t have many chances to eat out. We will not be coming back.
We had a wonderful dinner the wait staff was somewhat overwhelmed due to low staffing from government-related covid disaster limitations. The wait staff was wonderful regardless of how overwhelmed they were. Great food great atmosphere a very enjoyable evening and the wait staff made it all possible.
We usually visit the Brio located at Easton Town Center but we were close by and meeting our daughter for dinner. As most of you know I am a carnivore. I ordered the strip steak and it was perfectly done with regards to temperature and the steak looked appetizing serve with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. I have no bad things to say... I would have liked my steak to have been a little more juicy but it was still a good steak. Our other guests ordered chicken marsala and a pasta dish and there were no complaints.
My sister had our baby shower here. The greeter wouldn’t even let us sit even after the time for our reservation. The manager was so rude and the waiters messed on our orders and said asked to talked to the manager and he said “it is what it is” about helping. It overall was just a unpleasant experience. There was so much more . But needles to say I won’t be coming back.
Great restaurant to eat at, but in these times obviously pick up has became a large part of you business, and I would think seeing that your trying to cater to high end clientele that there would be a better time to go off of for pick up Ive now been waiting 25 extra minutes on top of the 30 originally quoted on a Wednesday. As I said good food good place to eat not a nice enough parking lot to wait an extra 30 minutes and counting....
We went around 5:00pm on a weekday and it wasnt busy. Service is a little old fashioned in that they essentially list off every menu item before actually giving you the menu. Id much rather save everyones time and just be given the menu because my smol brain cant remember all those choices. Food was good though! Quality matches the prices. Also, dont fret too much like I did when the server grabs your empty glasses without asking and refills them -- refills are free.
Such a great experience this evening because of the staff at Brio Polaris. My sister and I are visiting from out of town and wanted pasta for dinner. We decided on Brio. They seated us right away for dinner. There was a small wait for our drinks and the manager came over and offered us a free appetizer due to the wait (which wasn’t that long). He personally checked in with is throughout our meal. When it was time to pay the bill, the manager lets us know that he’d taken care of it. Perfect ending to a great trip! Thank you!
A woman named Jessica discriminates and looks at you with disdain. After waiting over an hour she never assigned us a table. We complained and have not yet received a response, much less an apology. (Polaris store).I received a short message from Kathryn Henderson, she said Ill receive a gift card but its been 40 days and I havent received anything! Well never visit that restaurant again and I maintain my 1-star review for them! (Polaris Store).
Ordered an assortment of food and everything was fantastic. We ordered the warmed olives as an appetizer, and I had the mushroom ravioli and a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus as well. I couldnt help but over eat, it was so good!! Our server was very nice and attentive as well. I cant remember her name but she worked during the lunch shift and has blonde hair. Kudos to her and the kitchen!
We placed an order through their website for one of their family meals to be delivered. We placed the order a week an advance, paid by credit card and received a confirmation email. Literally 30 minutes prior to the expected delivery, I received an email saying our order was cancelled. I called the restaurant and they basically were like owell, there is nothing we can do. They wouldnt do anything for us and didnt even seem apologetic that they completely ruined our dinner. They told us just to drive all the way there which I said no since I am pregnant and not wanting to unnecessarily expose myself to people (hence the whole point of the delivery). I wanted to order from them because I use to like this place and I want to do my part to keep them in business given the current situation. But I will never give them my business again. Now I have to make sure they give our money back. I just dont imagine them staying in business long if they treat customers like this.
The Brother of Bravo was delicious. Not having Brio in Pittsburgh, I wanted to compare and the quality was equally impressive, especially for a chain. The lasagna was huge. Our food was promptly delivered. The atmosphere was nice and our server was great. I would return if in the area.
Brio is a great family-friendly restaurant. The food is great though sometimes it gets really packed which means a long wait time to be seated or get service. They have a good selection of food. Their happy hour is one of the best. The price is reasonable and good portions.
I have always loved this place. My wife and I would go there to eat every couple of months. Service has always been great and the food has been excellent. However we went last friday and hadnt been there since the menu change. I have to say you went from an original menu with great choices to a basic menu that makes olive garden seem like a good place to eat. Honestly pretty sad.We left and went to one of your competitors. Had a great meal. Sad to see a good place cut back on the things that made it unique.
I was expecting it to be a 5-stars but the services was the one holding me back. Dont get me wrong, the services wasnt bad, just so so, mostly lack of interaction with any waiter/waitress, likely due to lack of training (as often a few of them just standing there far from the tables not actively doing anything). Other than that, everything else was very good, including the quality of foods, amazingly priced (i was there at the happy hours). Overall, i sure will come back when i am in the area.
My boyfriend and I love coming to Brio for a nice date night! The atmosphere of the restaurant feels very comfortable and welcoming, the customer service is always exceptional when we go. They have delicious options for every meal of the day, we always look forward to coming here to eat and couldnt recommend it enough.
This place has amazing food. The decor is great. Its one of my fav places to go. The staff is always very helpful. They are knowledgeable of the menu. We go a couple times a year for business meetings. I have never ran out of drink. When you are close to finished, another is there waiting. Please like this review. I am trying to get 50 likes. Thanks!
Stopped in for early weekday lunch.Hostess very friendly, nicely dressed and professional.Seating was fast.Very tasteful decor atmosphere.Lighting inside is very dim.(more for romantic dinner nights. Lol)Patio is very nice! (but was too humid, to sit outside.)Food was EXCELLENT with reasonable prices. We had lobster bisque, wedge salad, amazing calamari and a delicious seafood ravioli🥰Server lost 1 point because despite giving us undisturbed chatting time, she showed up with a plate of dirty dishes rested on the ledge next to our table to take our order.Food came out too long in between courses. And we didnt receive table bread until appetizer came out.BUT, i will definitely visit again. Maybe for dinner.Thank you Brio
If you want the best meal ever, I strongly, strongly recommend this restaurant. I ordered salmon with asparagus, etc., along with salad and wedding soup. The wedding soup was outstanding as well as the salad. The main entree arrived and its presentation was superb. The salmon was perfectly poached and the asparagus with grilled vegetables were equally grilled to perfection.I look forward to another evening at this fabulous place.CIAO
Had lunch with a friend. Parking is tough, but the valet takes credit cards. They werent very busy, so we were immediately seated. Every staff member that we came into contact with was welcoming, professional, and did their job well. As for the meal, the crust on the bread in the breadbasket was so hard that it was inseparable from the mini loaf. Other than that, the food was very fresh with wonderful flavor. If you like kale, the kale salad was very good. The Bolognese lasagna was delicious, as well. I wish I would have asked for a dessert menu, and the very proficient waitress did not ask (which should be a star deduction !). I would definitely go back and recommend Brio to others. We stayed a while, but easily would have been able to get in and out and back to work nearby within an hour.
The service is very good. The waiters are helpful and bring out the courses accordingly. The bruschetta is great and the desserts are impeccable. The location also allows for many different seating options. You can sit in a large booth or by the inside of the mall. The interior is very decorated and beautiful.
The food was just mediocre, such a disappointment. I am not sure what happened to Brio. The food used to be delicious, but has gone downhill since ownership changed hands last year. The food had no flavor. There was 6 in our party and the only person that enjoyed their food was a kid that ordered chicken fingers and fries. The only food that was good was the cream of mushroom soup and bread.
Food - amazing. Staff? Friendly as can be and I cant stress enough how important that is. I had quite a few drinks while there too and the bartenders certainly know what they are doing. Thr atmosphere is upscale but casual. The food was absolutely sublime and I cant wait to return for more. Definitely a great place for a business dinner or a nice birthday. Or even just a date night. Everything here is above expectations.
Food was good, shrimp and lobster were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Portions were relatively small and prices are okay. The atmosphere was odd, it is obviously intended to be a bit formal but it just didnt feel right. Employees seemed a bit pretentious but nothing too unreasonable. Overall their dishes are sort of modern Italian.
Sadly, the pizza oven was down (on Fathers Day!) Ordered the ceasars salad with chicken added which cost $14. Felt like lettuce quantity was ridiculously low for cost. Service was excellent though. Glad she gave my dad and I space to talk. Overall disappointed though.
Appetizers were good flat bread and ravioli, scallop main dish was also very good, now onto what was not good , it was our first time visiting this restaurant and informed the waiter as such, water was brought to our table withe black floaties in one of the glasses we ordered appetizers and no plates were brought out to eat from also got silverware with caked greasy food on them straight from the rolled up napkin. Had to ask for the complimentry bread that all the other tables received. My wife ordered a Mediterranean salad with shrimp, the shrimp was cold and overcooked like it had been cooked yesterday. Poor service poor food quality for the prices paid . Would have given less stars if it had not been for the appetizers kept hoping it would get better except for one entree. Could not recommend this place to anyone. Very very disappointed
Everyone is friendly. Hostess greeted is right away and checked off our reservation. We were seated promptly and our server greeted is fairly quickly. The calamari and spinach and artichoke dip are very yummy. My entré was the gorgonzola crusted beef medallions. They were cooked perfectly and the marsala sauce, asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious as well. Brio is my new favorite Italian restaurant in Polaris.
I’m really confused about the reviews on this place. I’ve been twice and both times it was meh. Our pasta was dry, the calamari was mostly pieces of some type of hot pepper and it’s moderately pricey. You don’t even get salad with your dinner. Although the interior was beautiful and clean I’ll take Olive Garden over this place any day. Two of our three plates were dirty but they did take them. We were never offered anymore bread either. For their prices, I wasn’t impressed at all.
My husband and I both had a chicken parmesan dinner. The chicken was crispy and we each were served 2 generously sized chicken breasts. The spaghetti tasted of parmesan cheese and butter with just the perfect amount of sauce. We were stuffed, when we left! Our server was very polite with a funny sense of humor. We enjoyed our dinner and the ambience/location of the restaurant. This was our first visit but it certainly wont be our last! A big thank you to the chef and to the staff for our wonderful food and service!
My Standards are really high when is related to food, restaurants and customer service, I was for 2 years in a gastronomic academy, had my own restaurant and this new Google experience is really nice talking about food. This BRIO TUSCAN RESTAURANT really filled my palette of taste, and is an absolute blast of flavors. A little lack of high quality table service (professionalism), with the waiter, someone else came later to save the customer service. The food us totally outstanding, delightful, the tomato bisque, the risotto, the lasagna... everything worth the pennies. If for some reason youre close to Polaris, stop by and try it.
Food was fantastic. Service wasnt very good at all. We bounced between waiters the entire time. It took forever to get our drinks and to flag someone down to get our bill. It was a Friday afternoon at lunch, and they may have been busy & under staffed. The food came out hot and fast. Everything tasted delicious!
I was in Brio at Polaris mall and I asked why the employees have to wear a mask and the customers do not. I was told it was corporate’s decision to keep us masked, without a choice. First, that is discrimination and misplaced authority but second I was told after the governor announced June 2nd as the cut off date that your employees still have to wear them.I noticed the two servers...TWO...were working very hard and I asked where all the other servers were and I was told they can’t keep any staff. I wonder why? Could it be you are being dictators and people are choosing not to put up with?As a customer I will not put up with you making medical decisions for people either. I will not be returning to this Polaris Brio or any Brio or Bravo in the future.
Expensive food but not worth it.. The service was not good either.. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. I ordered a shrimp dish and the shrimp had no taste and the noodles were hard. We told the waiter and I wasnt rude.. But I did expect a visit from the manager to speak with us. The manager never came and it seemed like waiter didnt even care.. The waiter the whole time was unfriendly and seemed ready to go home. We most likely will not go back..
The atmosphere is fantastic, but the place is getting run down and tired and worn. The menu look fantastic, the food was average at best. The service was mediocre. They were not that busy and the waitperson was slow and the kitchen was slower.Bottom line, theres better dinner value for your money in the Polaris area than BRIO.
I havent been to Brio in a while but have consistently received very excellent service at the Easton Town Center location. Excellent menu, bar...family dinners are so much fun. Moved out of state but really looking forward to getting back this summer. A must for anyone visiting the area or anyone needing to explore the culinary delights right there in your own community.
Never have I felt as unappreciated and disrespected as a paying customer. My husband and I had dinner with another couple and we were treated like children by our server who immediately stereotyped us and felt no need to provide adequate service. She had an unprofessional laissez-faire attitude as if even occupying her table was an inconvenience. My husband ordered a beer he never received and when we cashed out she returned our cards with no words. We have dined at plenty of establishments at the same level of intended class, if not higher and have never had a problem. The food here was okay, but the service was enough to not bring us back.
This restaurant is in our rotation of regularly-visited places. The food is good to great (recommend the field greens salad w/grilled chicken) even though the menu is not so unique (it is a chain). The service is consistent and it is good. The place is clean. Good place to stop by for lunch or dinner if youre in the area and you arent the type to mix in with the crazies over at olive garden & mimis cafe.
In the past my meals have always been great. Went out last night for a special occasion. Not a good experience at all. Service was very slow. Food was not great. My son had to send his salmon back for being under cooked. 2nd one wasnt that great and still undercooked in the middle. Pasta was just ok. Not very flavorful. Had to ask for silverwear, Parmesan cheese and when I asked for a spoon to spin my pasta I was given a teaspoon for tea. The place was packed so maybe that affected the quality and poor service. Very disappointed in my visit.
Food was on point! Service was excellent. A little on the pricey side $50/person for one adult beverage each, a spinach and artichoke appetizer to share, and two midpriced entrees. Definitely couldnt afford to eat here often, but definitely worth the splurge once in a while!!!
Doesnt seem to be too busy or crowded compared to the other restaurants in the area. Atmosphere felt more fancy than your regular Cheesecake Factory or Oliver Garden so that might be why. As expensive as CF, maybe slightly more expansive but the food was very good. I recommend the lasagna or pesto pasta.
Brio sent me a coupon for my birthday so I went a few days ago. I was seated promptly. The place was not busy. After waiting 10 minutes , I asked the hostess to get someone to wait on me. Server brought my water . I chose wedge salad and 1/2 order of spaghetti cachio y pepe , one of the lunch specials . ($12). Good salad. The spaghetti serving was about three inches in diameter and an inch tall. In other words about five or six bites. Not much cheese or pepper. I added lemon that was for my water and some butter that was for my bread. Glad I had a coupon.
Their service was fair, but the kitchen needed help. The menu is good, but the food needs to get better. The first fingerlings I had come out with my steak were day old and refried. They were so nasty. It was like they were soft and really hard at the same time. The bruschetta sampler is amazing, and so was dessert. Kitchen needs overhaul, and service needs improvement. Below average 2 star.
This was not a good visit. We did not have an attentive waiter. We had to ask another for bread and then stop him as he walking by us for refills. The food overall was decent, I will stick to the Easton Location. We left something in the restaurant and when we called nobody wanted to take the time to go look for the item. We had to keep calling back for them to even pretend to go look. So we never recover our item.
So we are visiting Columbus from Michigan, where the nearest Brio is about forty miles from our home. As luck would have it, we spied the restaurant from our hotel. We ate at Mitchells steakhouse last night and we do like to dine. We arrived at six thirty, kind of casually dressed so we took a seat at bar. The bartender was slammed, our appetizer order I think never got put in , 45 min with one round of drinks and bread - no one has taken our dinner order. I tell manager at end of bar. 20 min later I leave 15 bucks on the table and we go to leave. Not wanting to look like we are walking out on our bill and waste food we ask to speak to the person in charge. Dave Sharpe to the rescue. They were slammed, and when he came up from the kitchen, you could see he was working back there-. Things happen, we were disappointed our first attempt to get fed failed. .we really wanted to just leave quietly, but Dave overwhelmed us in his effort and genuine concern that we have a wonderful evening. Even when he knew, especially when he knew it was not likely we would be back soon. Lucky company...great manager. There are about ten other quality restaurants in that Polaris are, managers like Dave will make or break a restaurant in that market.
Very very good. The wait staff was amazing and very friendly. The food came out hot and quick. Gosh the food was so good, I cant say anything but you HAVE to try it!The only only downside for everyone (but me cause I like it) was that the bread roll had an extremely tough crust.2 alcoholic drinks1 pop1 lemonade1 kids frozen lemonade1 appetizer2 adult entrees1 kid entree (size of adult)1 kid fruit bowl1 side salad$98+changeWould have been $20 cheaper without alcohol drinks.100% returning
When my husband and I got married about a year ago, we decided to have our family rehearsal dinner at Brio Polaris. It was the one place in Columbus that could host a large party of 75 people that wasn’t going to cost us an extra small fortune on top of the already costly wedding expenses. It also had a versatile enough menu that could accommodate the myriad of allergies and food preferences of my crazy family. I was so grateful to the Brio staff who really stepped in to make the evening feel relaxed and flow smoothly. Everyone seemed to enjoy the dinner, and after all was said and done, I was able to go home and get ready for the next day’s wedding without feeling any regrets over that night’s event. Now that my husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our one year anniversary, we could not have been more surprised to find in the mail a $50 complimentary gift certificate from Brio with a congratulatory note on our upcoming anniversary! What a sweet and thoughtful gesture - we could not be anymore pleased with our choice in selecting Brio as one of our wedding event sites. Thank you Brio staff and management for truly going above and beyond our expectations in making our wedding memories so special! I will highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to host event parties or have a nice dinner out in Columbus.
A complete waste of time. Ordered 3 plates of food for 3 people 2 of them came out cold after waiting an hour. Was told the food would be taken off the bill then remade the food and still did not take them off the bill and assumed that we would know that it wouldnt be taken off because they remade it. Also messed up on two drinks had 2 Pepsis and a different waiter brought us 2 diet Pepsis because thats what he was told. Ive been to bad places to eat around the world, but this place is the absolute worst.
Waiter was very rude. Made us feel like we were an inconvenience to him the whole time. Didnt speak much. Slightly changed his tune when we had to find the manager after not helping us anymore after taking the drink order and not coming back for 45 minutes so we could order food.
Brio is like going to a slightly more casual Bravo. This location gives that impression inside, however eschews that detail from the outside. The valet parking and high end car dealership promo lot out front, though for Polaris Mall at large, creates the impression that the restaurant is quite swanky. Like fur coat swanky. . . Great attentive polite staff. Food is always top class :-)
I attended a private event at the Polaris location. We had 1 dedicated server, and he did well.Sadly none of the appetizers except cheese cubes were low carb. I asked if I could order an entree and pay for my food separately. I was told that wasnt possible with a private event of more than 20 people. My colleagues seemed to enjoy the flatbread, breaded chicken and fruit offered. I gave a 3 star rating only for the appearance of their enjoyment. However I stayed hungry for entire 2 hour presentation while surrounded by food in a restaurant that would not allow me to place an order of their lower carb food because of my attendance at our company sponsored event. Ironic considering Im a Brio Rewards member too. I had planned to buy 2 entrees so I could eat one during the event for dinner, and take the other home for another time. With tip, my bill would have been $70 for that store.I doubt I will ever go back to the Polaris location. The service at Easton Brio has always been friendly and customer oriented. Ill stick with it.
Ive eaten at a few Brios, like the one in Newport Ky, but this one was by far the best. Its a huge place and has an amazing outdoor space. The food was amazing! The service was spectacular; the waiter checked with us on everything, but still gave us the right amount of privacy. The pasta alla vodka was my favorite, the pasta pesto was good too. I also had the steak and arugula bruschetta which was fabulous. I discovered a new favorite drink- the Peach Bellini! I love how they have so many specialty cocktails- the combos are the best. The prices are moderate, perfect for the location, I think being a franchise they set them. Best place Ive been in awhile! For a chain the food was just delicious.
Had a small group of 8 to celebrate a very special occasion. Made an OpenTable reservation the week before and indicated this in the comments. I was going to call later in the week to confirm my requests, but they called me first. Chef had a special Tiramisu birthday cake made for us. We had a private room upstairs and the food was fantastic. Our server, Joy, was wonderful. Everything was just perfect. I cant thank Brio enough!!
I’ve given Brio a couple chances. When we arrived the host was airing his grievances on the phone (there has got to be a back room for that) and as we were seated, it just seemed like the hosts were upset and angry. Upon seating, it took a good 5 minutes (conservatively) to have a server come over and say hello. And to top it all off, while it was good, the lasagna resembled more of a soup, than s pasta dish.
Taste was pretty good, despite the sauce or dressing being heaped on one side of the dish and almost non existent on the other. The issue I had was with the restroom. In order the close the door, I had to stand between the toilet bowl and the wall (the door swings only a couple inches from the toilet). This restaurant is quite large, why are the stalls sized for kindergarteners? The stall also had a hole in the dry wall, the wall plate for the flush button was nearly falling off, and the door handle was equally loose. You would never know you were in a Brio by looking in the bathroom.
I have eaten at Brio many times at Easton and have been pleased.Brio at Polaris severely dissappointed today. We were having a 50th Anniversary party and chose Brio to place orders for take out for everyone. I stopped in the day before and asked if we called an order in and set a designated time for pick up could they accommodate us. They said absolutely. Anniversary party started and no food was prepared when we went to pick it up. They said they never received the order but somehow could tell us exactly what we ordered. Dinner was held up and we received salad for 1 person only. Needless to say, not happy with our experience.
Did a search its apparent this group is nothing but an investment game of a hundred restaurants or so. Stock traders and volitility the past year. Went here 2 years ago and it was great. Now its awful. Apparently family/partners blew it and went under or sold out and now it sucks. Almost empty on a thursday night. Ordered some angel hair pasta, roast veggies and a piece of cod with an italian name and got overcooked garbage. Their flatbread was stale and asked for some fresh and it was the same, awful and probably left sitting out and days old. The fish was overcooked, bland, tough and probably precooked like the pasta and terrible veggies. They obviously cook the pasta and portion it in baggies. Should only be done fresh in less than ten minutes. The vegs must be done in big pans, overcooked in an oven then left to sit until some poor soul gets them, limp, burnt and soggy. Truly horrible. Was going to send it back when the manager got pissy with me as I mentioned the owners squabbling and killing the business. Typical effeminate joker who cares nothing about you or the food. How do you screw up a good thing? Abuse the chefs, hire anybody who applies and fake it... plus never eat at your own place. Some investment group salvaged it from bankruptcy if I remember right. Should have been left to die or have someone who gives a damn run it. Gordon Ramsey should do an episode on this chain. Anyone who gives this high marks knows nothing about italian cuisine or works for the place.

2021-11-07This is famous restaurant in Polaris fashion place. This is on the main entrance of Polaris fashion mall. You can easily see this place once you are in mall road. This is famous Italian restaurant and if you like traditional Italian this is the place. Being vegetarian I tried the salad and pizza they were good. If you like Spicy then this is not the place as they have is traditional items with cheese.

2022-01-16Food was good, service was good. I wasnt blown away by anything, other than how quickly I got my meal. (It was really a bit too quick since my salad came literally 2 minutes before my entree) call it what it is; its a better-than-average chain restaurant. Its not a problem for me, and theres a reason they do a pretty brisk business. Two meals and 2 salads ran us into the $50-60 range, but we didnt have wine or cocktails.

2022-05-28I had the N.Y. Strip. Why get a steak at an Italian restaurant? Because for the money, $41.99, its a very good steak. I got spaghetti instead of mashed potatoes.Everything was delicious! The service was not the best. I had to flag down other servers for water and a steak knife and our server messed up the bill 3 times. But all in all a nice meal.

2022-04-12A little disappointed that our favorite seeded crackers were no longer available. The wine choices were very poor. Only one chardonnay by the glass and it was an inexpensive label. Our waiter/bartender had to split his attention throughout our meal, he did the best he could serving drinks at the bar, at tables and us. This was our 51st Anniversary dinner, dinners were good as was the Tiramisu.Next year I think we will go back to Hyde Park Grille.

2022-05-19We had lasagna and mushroom ravioli. The portions are huge, enough for two. But my, how their prices have gone up. $19 for lasagna and most meat dishes well over $20. They didnt have the wine by the glass I ordered. Our server was great.
