Brio Italian Grille in other cities:
It was a good brunch...Wifey and I were looking for something different after church and figured out we had not been to brio in a while. The food was good. Wifey had their sausage and egg breakfast which she really liked. I had their version of eggs Benedict which was ok. The service was awesome. The experience was good but it missed the mark of being outstanding.
I have been here several times for happy hour, both pre-covid and more recently. The service is always excellent, the bar staff are friendly, knowledgeable about the drinks, and great at making wonderful suggestions. The happy hour menu has several delicious items and the atmosphere lends itself to talking and visiting with your companions. Of course Easton has several great happy hour spots, this is one of the best.It is a great choice when taking a break from a day of shopping at Easton
Half the restaurant was empty and there was a wait due to nearly the whole kitchen staff calling off and leaving all new cooks in the kitchen. Well, you definitely couldn’t tell but the quality of the food. This was my first time visiting here with my wife and let me tell you, it was one of the best, if not the best, experience I’ve ever encountered. Joshua, our server was pinpoint, and I requested to speak to a manager. Sidd came over and I expressed how happy we were. I come from 20 years in the industry, and y’all should be proud!
Went for happy hour. Great food and decent price compared to the price normally. Went two weeks in a row and enjoyed it both times. The food at the Easton location was noticably better than the Polaris location. The Easton patio is also much nicer and my daughter enjoyed the fountain right there.
We had not been to this restaurant in a long time. We are visiting Ohio and wanted a nice place to eat. We remembered liking Brio. So tonight we chose Brio. However, our server did not seem very experienced. We had to wait over 35 minutes for our food. He never came back and checked on us or told us he was sorry the food was taking so long. In fact it was hard for me to even get him to look at us. When I finally did get his attention we asked him if the food was coming and he said he would check on it. But we noticed he did other things even before he went to check on the food. Finally he brought our food after about 40 minutes. I immediately cut into my chicken and it was cold. I ordered the chicken marsala. I told him the food was cold and he asked me if I wanted to send it back and have them make another one. I said no, I don’t want to wait 40 minutes for my food again. I asked him just to warm it up. No apology but he did take the food back. When he brought it back it was nice and hot. However I think it must’ve been put in the microwave and my chicken was rubbery and did not have enough sauce. My mashed potatoes were so hot like they had been left in the microwave too long. We also asked him to bring more bread, but he didn’t remember and we had to remind him and he finally brought some bread. Just extremely disappointed. I had been working on an estate sale all day and hadn’t eaten and did not expect this to happen. My husband did have a good lasagna and it was hot. I do not know why the food took so long to come. Because it seemed like others got their food in a timely fashion. I don’t know if he just forgot about us or what. But if he is a new server, he is not getting good training. This experience made me never want to go back to Brio.
I will start by saying the positive. Our waitress was a sweetheart and tried (we think). Overall not a good experience, the food here is very bland and definitely not worth the amount of money charged for it. We were brought one piece of bread because they were supposedly out of bread for the day, but 5 minutes later a table across from us that was sat down after us received a full serving of rolls. Then, a table behind us who was there before we were even sat down was told that no rolls were available. Lastly, they do not offer a military discount. I am by no means entitled but as a disabled veteran I always ask just in case. Therefore, the lack of a good experience plus not offering a military discount = us not wanting to return
The restaurant was very busy. Our server did a good job in spite of being swamped. Our appetizers came out quickly, but our drinks from the bar and our entrees took a long time. The food was hit or miss. Most of the people in my party felt like their entree should have been better. Whoever overcooked the salmon for my and my wifes entrees shouldnt be allowed near a grill anymore. Considering what we got for what I paid, Ill take a hard pass on Brio in the future. Im know there are better options available nearby.
I need to start by saying that I am extremely patient these days with the service industry because I am very appreciative of those who show up and work, and I realize it is sometimes a thankless job. My fiance visited on a Saturday afternoon, and wanted to sit outside so we were added to the wait list. In the meantime, we got a couple of drinks from the bar. About 20 minutes later, we were seated on the patio which is very nice because you could watch kids run through the water fountains right beyond the patio. We were there for about 10 minutes were approached by no staff. The hostess sat 3 more tables around us. Each one of those tables were waited on while we remained not having been asked if we had been helped. Another 10 minutes passed and the hostess seated yet another table. I caught her, told her we had not been waited on yet, and asked if she could find who our server was and let them know we have been waiting. She apologized saying there was a shift change, and she would find out. 15 more minutes passed, the hostess seated another table, and we decided it was time to go. I approached her again telling her we were leaving as we still had no one approach us for our order. I have never had to leave an establishment because others around me were being served while I was being ignored. This was truly unacceptable. We left and went to FlipSide where the service was fantastic and the food was amazing and they have a patio. Skip Brio and go to Flip Side, you will not be disappointed there.
The food was mid and the silverware was dirty. Not only that the service was boring. They have overpriced food and it’s not even that good. I most definitely will not pay $19 for some bland and nasty lasagna. Especially for some MID cake it said on the menu WARM and it came ROOM TEMPERATURE🙄 don’t come if u wanna be disappointed. AND i will not be coming back willingly a second time!
Celebrated my BFFs birthday. Patio dining here is always a refreshing vibe. Server was attentive and kind without being clingy. My pasta add shrimp was delicious, her lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The libation with the blue curacao and pineapples was tasty, so tasty I almost ordered a third. A girl has to have boundaries lol. A lovely dinner!
Bad day for waiter..atleast to us. Waiter ordered my daughter the wrong meal and would not fess up. I had to reorder it to go. Did not give us bread until after he gave us salads. I ordered 2 glasses of wine, he did not ask what size, then when I asked which one he took me it didnt matter BC it was the same price for both sizes. Which didnt make any sense. And he did not check on us often or to take empty dishes.
Normally everything is great but this time dining was dismal, setting a reservation was easy but once we got there and ordered it took 45 min to get 1of our 2 appetizers which came out cold, our second appetizer came out about 20 min after that because somehow the kitchen didn’t process the second appetizer on our order. Then about an hour and 20 min into waiting we finally got our actual meal, my fiancée’s was fine but my chicken limone was so burnt and acrid it tasted like eating Clorox wipes. At that point we had waited so long with so little service from our waiter or anyone else I just ate the few bites I could instead of dealing with the hassle of sending another dish back and possibly waiting another 30+ minutes for a refire. $100 meal but worth about $10 in actuality for the service and quality.
3 stars = 2 bellinis and my calamari. The service I received from the bartender Ashley was terrible. I watched as she took everyones order and also brought bread to the couple next to me and the people next to them. I sat patiently and waited for her to at least check to see if I was ready to order. The couple next to me even remarked you havent ordered yet? I finally asked her if I could place my order and to get a 2nd drink. Not sure what the problem was, Id hate to assume. Leaving a bad tip sucked but I shouldve left nothing.
Server was unapologetic about everything. They no longer carry the wine I preferred & I asked for extra cheese on top of my dish and was brought a side of extra sauce instead, for some reason. My favorite dish, the pasta a la vodka, wasnt like it used to be. Not sure why.
Mashed potatoes had chunks of uncooked potatoes. Salmon pasta - gross - no flavor. If you are seated by the area where the servers place orders (back of restaurant on the right), take a look at the nastiness around the bar area. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for over a year. Overall, if you’re going to spent this much money find somewhere else to eat.
When I think of Brios I think of there DELICIOUS, THICK & meaty pork chops but they told me they didnt have them anymore, OMGGGGGG I was very disappointed. I tried something different, The Beef Medallions. It was ok, the best thing was the mashed potatoes. The Peach Bellini was too thick. I had to buy a glass of wine to add to the Peach Bellini. After that, it was REALLY tasty. I NEED Brios to get those pork chops back ASAP.
Visiting our son for the holiday weekend from out-of-town and was excited to plan on dining here after being told Brio’s is one of the best places to go to. NOT!!!! We waited from 6:06pm (time we were added to the waitlist) until 6:50pm (received 2nd text). As soon as the young lady, Brooke, sent the 2nd text, the manager, Angie, said we couldn’t be seated. There were also 4 other young ladies who had been seated and waited 2+ hours at a table and had also not gotten served. Customer service needs improvement. You should never tell your customers they’re going to be seated and in the same breath tell them they can’t be seated. They should’ve seated us and then cut it off from there.
The staff who took care of our group of 30 today for a branding event was amazing they did a great job and was very attentive. The chop salad is not like it used to be😔I did enjoy Grilled Salmon SaladSalmon, field greens, tomatoes, grilled asparagus, feta, crispy shoestring potatoes, balsamic vinaigrette
While we had planned on having the full works, drinks, appetizers and dinner, poor service ended the night early. Drinks, even though we were sitting at the not busy at all bar took almost 10 minutes, appetizer took almost 25 minutes in the not busy at all restaurant/kitchen. The flatbread was delicious however being largely ignored (had to ask for water, bread and to order food while staff talked to one another feet away) and the significant wait for the app turned us off. Especially in these times when we do venture out to spend money and support businesses we want that money to be well spent. Service is second only to food quality and it was really lacking. Heck the staff at Pottery Barn were more responsive and friendly and we only went in the store to ask for change for the parking meter. Disappointed.
First time visiting May 7th 2021 my son took me for Mothers day Dinner date😊 , the food was extremely late they did seem a little busy which I can understand, but not that busy ,food took almost an hour. My son kept saying this has never happened when Ive been here. Yet the manager did recognize us apologized, he did accommodate my son by taking half off the bill. The waiter did keep checking on us , periodically finally the meal arrives , then while me and my son where in the middle of our dinner I asked for a togo box, proceed to finish our drinks 🥂 waiter started clearing the empty plates , but food was still on the table my flatbread half , and half of my spaghetti bolognese. The waiter thinking I didnt want to box up my flatbread to go with my Spaghetti Bolognese 🤔 took that away, he felt so bad lol but they did accommodate me by preparing another flatbread to go so all in all I was happy with the food it was delicious just wasnt happy with the service being late and my flatbread being snatched away 😅 but again the manager did accommodate us and I so appreciate that really I do, and I will be back... Thats the only reason for the 3 ⭐⭐⭐...
Overall it was good. Dont like the reward program was removed. I spent over $150 (includes a bottle of prosecco) and appreciate added value.. the lobster bisque was good flavor but total pureed.. no pieces of lobster..at no time was there 10 guest in the whole restaurant. Once seated after bar time. Server was not attentive. We had to ask for salt/pepper, catch her when we could..
I along with my family had dinner on Saturday we switched tables . And I didn’t carry my man purse to that table . It had my AirPods some Cash and my expensive shades. I got back my Man purse but absolutely nothing inside. Thank you guys !!! When i spoke over the phone about these items that i lost they said yes to everything. They shouldnt have done that.
The ambiance and location outperform the food. The Lobster bisque is relatively thin and has no noticeable lobster chunks, but has good flavor. The calamari is also thin and uneventful. My latest meal here was the Lobster and Shrimp Pasta, it this was rich and savory.Happy hour drinks are basically alcohol free.
Delicious Food. The service was great. We sat out on the patio which faces the Easton town center. Is great for people watching on a pretty day. My boyfriend requested something that wasnt on the menu, it was from their previous menu, they did not hesitate to oblige. My steak medallions were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back soon.
Polite staff. Havent been to a Brio in a while and I was shocked by the TV dinner quality of all three meals served. Alfredo sauce tasted like it was right out of the jar with zero doctoring up. The Chicken Marsala sauce was even worse, straight out of a can taste and it was served on top of grilled chicken?which was hard and dry, totally microwaved and with fake grill marks to boot! The Pene pasta with meat sauce was hard & dry as if it were sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Needless to say I wont be going back. The frozen Lean Cuisines Ive had in the past were a better quality and value for what I was served at Brio. Very Sad.
We have always enjoyed this restaurant. They have excellent service and are very accommodating for our food allergies. We used to frequent this restaurant quite often, but have not been back many times after they completely reworked their menu. It used to be a great place to enjoy Italian cuisine that was not always pasta. Unfortunately, with their new menu, they took a much more traditional approach and it is much more pasta heavy. It is still a great place to eat and one of the top Italian places that we have found, but no longer the top for us. Do be aware that this is one of the more pricey Italian restaurants in the city and that if you do not have a reservation, you can expect a long wait line as many other people in the city also enjoy eating at this restaurant!
I use to love this place but the last time I went it was a disappointment. Their classic dishes you can tell were substituted to be less quality ingredients. The server forgot multiple items we asked for. Just overall not the steller food /service we have experienced in the past.
I ordered a cheese pizza for my daughter. It was a nice portion for a child but it was burnt. I also ordered pan seared salmon that came with potatoes and spinach. The salmon was dry and the sides were bland. I still gave it 3 stars because the service was impeccable. The food was not what I usually expect with Brio but maybe it was because it was a Tuesday at 8pm. The service was good enough that I would give the restaurant another chance.
Highlights: Great service. Not too pricy. Food tastes good (not great). We were a party of 12. A couple of our friends were supposed to join us about half an hour late. Our waiter was very nice and gave us complimentary starters a couple of times. Once our friends arrived, our food was ready pretty fast. The prices were quite reasonable. The food I ordered (chicken pesto pasta) tasted good, but didn’t impress me.I think it’s worth a try if you are in the neighbourhood.
I had an excellent meal here, ordered a red malbec wine recommended by the waitress and for entree the Shrimp Ravioli, both were excellent. For dessert ordered a cappuccino and Tiramisu, both also good. Spent $60 total ,including tip. Was well worth it, one the best meals Ive had in a while 👌
This place is a mixed bag. As I have noticed in quite a few restaurants lately, the food is quite good, but the service and overall experience leaves a bit to be desired. We sat on the patio at around 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. Everything in terms of the service seemed a bit chaotic, and our host walked us to the table sat us down and left some menus without so much as a word or a smile. Our server was very nice and tried very hard but the patio was covered with debris and trash and straws and napkins, and none of our bread plates or appetizer plates were pre-bussed before our food came out. Never saw a manager anywhere, which is I believe one of the biggest problems I see these days. A manager presence on the floor is very important. The food as I mentioned was top notch. Everybody enjoyed their plates, I had the lamb chops and they were perfectly cooked. It Is however my belief that if you have $30 and $40 entrees on your menu your service needs to live up to that.
I came here last weekend. I got the center cut steak, my wife got campanelle carbonara. My steak was extremely tender for a rare steak - Ive never had anything like it. I was apprehensive about eating it rare when I saw how thick it was, but it turned out great. Their spices were pretty good too. The campanelle carbonara was great. I almost wish I had ordered that instead. They even gave us a free dessert.
The best ravioli I have eaten since moving to Ohio. And stellar service, other restaurants should ask their servers to come here and see how its done. Very professional and welcoming and polite, explaining the menu items without being asked, making suggestions about what goes best with your choices. Very fast in bringing orders and yet very patient with explaining and waiting for us. Just amazing.
I ordered the lamb chop appetizer with the sauce on the side for curbside pickup. I was told my order would be ready at 7;15. I went to pick up my order. I had to call 2x and waited 30 minutes for them to bring it out. I then looked in the bag and there was sauce on the food and bread with no butter. I called the restaurant and told them I ordered sauce on the side and their response was “I don’t know what I can do about that”…. I said can you remake it with sauce on the side ? So I was told to bring it back. I asked if they could get it from the curbside pickup spot because I didn’t have a masks and they said they were too busy to do that. I ended up taking my incorrect food home and throwing it away. I have dined in and had take out from Brio many times but this experience will ensure I never visit the Easton location again. If you have the time just take the drive to Polaris. Brio Polaris does great take out, the staff is friendly and ready to provide amazing customer service.
Brio is a rather upscale Italian restaurant that really gives a small taste of rustic Italiana. They have outdoor fire pits as well as large booths and tables for larger parties. If you go on a weekend, ask for a server by the name of Kyle. Phenomenal service and a great guy.
Service was great from door to table. Christian was an amazing server, he recommend some very good drinks and was quick and attentive. We ordered Lobster ravioli and lamb chops for appetizers they were delicious. For dinner we ordered Brio pasta and chicken marsala they both were taste bud delightful. Next time im in Columbus I will be making a stop there first thing
We enjoyed a delightful lunch today at Brio restaurant in Easton. We had a group of five ready to eat. Our server, Tyler, was very nice, he was attentive, the food was delivered very quickly, and everything tasted soo good. We would highly recommend this restaurant and the wonderful people who work there.
The establishment is still very nice. However, food is still very delicious and presentable although the cook seems to place bacon on everything. Just an extra added time might get the individual to comprehend that not everyone can eat pork. After the 3rd time, I think the chief got it.Theyre hiring for all staff. Pay & tips are pretty good. Apply in person and be with it.
We had date night at BRIO for the first time last night. We made reservations on OpenTable which I would definitely recommend because they were very busy. My only complaint about the experience is the noise level. The building was beautiful; I couldn’t stop looking at the design when we walked in. The staff was good and the bread was even better. I got the mushroom ravioli (very very delicious but small portion) and my husband got the chicken marsala (more food than he could eat). Bill was cheaper than I expected given the quality of the food and the atmosphere.
Where to start. We ordered an appetizer. When it finally came we took one bite and our entrees appeared. I ordered the chopped salad. It was old iceberg lettuce lots of black olives for filler and no dressing. I ordered the lamb chops which were cooked medium I ordered medium rare. There was no seasoning or sauce. Not even au ju. They were very dry. The fingerling potatoes were cut in half and deep fried with some garlic thrown on them. Yuck. Our server Emilee kept rushing us out. Our reservation was at 5:45 and by 6:25 she was removing our plates and asking if we wanted boxes. I was so disappointed My daughters ordered pasta. My oldest ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta in a cream sauce. It was under the heat lamp so long the sauce dries out. I don’t think I will ever go back there again. And I would recommend you think twice too.
For a Tuesday night, wasnt expecting it to be busy, but its summer. Our waitress was not great. She didnt give us enough utensils or plates. She was attentive to the neighboring table but ignored ours. Took 30 min to even get bread out and appetizers. Never checked up on us either. Bread was also hard as a rock. Calamari came soggy with the sauces slapped on, which was weird bc the other tables near us had it neater with the sauces in cups. Half the food wasnt cooked great. The steak was supposed to come out medium, but came out rare while the salmon and shrimp was over cooked and burnt. Alot of other happened, and hope I dont get sick from food but we will see. Would not recommend or come again; especially since the food was way overpriced for the amount
We were visiting from out of town and decided to have dinner here!! We originally made reservations for a later time and wanted to change them. Ashley the hostess was wonderful and accommodating! What a great choice!! Our server Jose was amazing!! Very attentive and personable!! He really made the meal great! The food was delicious!! We will be back the next time we are in town.
Disappointing visit. I took my children for a dinner date as we awaited my husbands return from a work trip. Everything started out well; server was kind. Nearing the end of our meal I ordered calamari to go for my husband...30 minutes later no appetizer. Simply fried calamari. We asked for the check as we had somewhere to be and it was just plopped on our table. Understanding staffing issues, an apology and maybe a small discount for our wait wouldve gone a long way.
My daughter and I are here for lunch and LOVED our meals! I had the Shrimp Capri with a salad (Insalata Della Casa). My daughter had the Chicken Pesto Spaghetti. Both meals were excellent! It took a while for our food to arrive, but the wait was worth it. The restaurant was pretty full at 1:30 when we arrived. Our server was very attentive and personable. We also liked the bread before our meal.
Hi, this was my 3rd time here. I see the Staff has changed. My friends and ate on the patio. The waitress we had was so rude and pushy. Very unprofessional, and we could not find her 20 minutes. The food was good ,very very Small portions for the price. The drinks were good, but water down. The waitress was reaching over the food. Touching her face not washing her hands. Had a bad attitude ! We had 1 hour and 2o mins left. She was rushing us to pay,in a rush to clean up our table. There were alot of Customers still there. This will be last time. I will tell my friends and family about this experience.
Living downtown, I don’t get to ‘burb restaurants very often, but wanted to post about a lovely holiday lunch this afternoon with some family members who were in town. Easton was a middle point for us and we all found Brio’s menu appealing. Besides the delicious Italian food, our server, Sierra, was a delight. Not only was her knowledge of the menu much appreciated, but her warm personality made our time that much more enjoyable! Saluté!
I usually enjoy everything about dinner here but this was a less-than-stellar experience here. Service was slow and we were almost the last table to leave the restaurant. Orders for drinks and food took way too long, some things we asked for never came, and two orders were undercooked (rare medallions instead of medium). It was clear the restaurant needs more help than they have but service should have been scaled to accommodate the shortage rather than being greedy to try to pack the place.
Food is Kind of ok , not so great for me and friends. My chicken Milanese was really bad and cold. Inside it was too much noisy and you have to speak really loud to talk to your table mates. Probably you can try a better place with better food. I am giving one start for server. She was good and no complaints for her. This was my first time to any Brio in town. Bad luck !!
Food was your basic franchise Italian fare. A little on the pricey side with the bill for 1 entree, two appetizers, two soft drinks and one desert coming to $70.My server was splitting duties as a bartender so 3 stars for the service as well as frustrating to wait to get refills, water, and extra sauce. The good thing about Brio is theres never a wait compared to others in Easton.
Brio definitely has good days and bad days. The food usually remains pretty constant, but there are a few problems. Lets get into that. The Good:- Any time you go in, even during the pandemic, you can usually get in and have a seat ready for you. Its a pretty giant sitting area.- When other restaurants are closed, Brio is usually open. I love that because I am not a scheduled eater; I eat when Im hungry and sometimes thats later in the day when a few other places have closed down. (Usually on a week day)- The food is pretty good, but sometimes its not. Like I said, its kind of a hit and miss. The seafood dish I had one of the first times I was there tasted good, but the seafood in it seemed over cooked. The NY Strip I had another time was pretty great though and I truly enjoyed it. Most of the dishes are very classic and simple, and I love that, as long as they are done well. Brio usually does most of them pretty well.- Theres a pretty good wine selection. I think. (Im a foodie, but like wine. I cant tell you too much on wine except that I like it or dont.)- Cocktails are pretty good, although they are sometimes poured with a heavy hand. The Bad:- It is so dark in the sitting area. I hate super dark restaurants.- While I havent sat at the bar, its in a weird area.- I dont know if all the staff is like this because each time I have been there, I have had the same server. Its kind of an odd phenomenon, but the service is somewhat off. I sometimes think its a lack of service or a mixture of how people are served. I often see a server in multiple areas of the restaurant, and it seems like they are serving other people. I dont know if thats a thing there or if they just go where they please.- The building is nice, but I do think a few things need some attention paid to them. I know most people arent staring at the ceiling in restaurants, but I do.- I think the biggest problem is just consistency in food and drinks. Ive had over salted, under salted, and perfect steaks. Lots of sauce or little sauce on pasta. Ive had glasses of wine with very little poured in the glass and too much poured in the glass, and so much more.In conclusion, I recommend this place most of the time while in Easton. Its a pretty good restaurant if you want a nice, simple dish to eat and dont really want to spend a whole lot in another restaurant in the area, but dont want to go to a fast food restaurant.
We had a party of four and none of us were impressed. We were first seated in the back next to a busy swinging door but when we asked to move, were seated at a cramped booth designed for 2 near the front door, which was very drafty. The bread served was hard and not sliced. Remaining food was OK, but not great. We had to send back grilled chicken for being served on a cold plate.Being near the host desk, we had a front row seats to a show of socializing employees, ranging from 6 employees hanging out at some times to an abandoned desk at other times. Seems there are too many host staff to hold accountability. Our server was nice and attentive, but I was surprised to see him counting his tips at the empty bar when I went to the restroom. Is there not a back room? The icing on the cake was leaving and passing by the outdoor seats left as-is with cushions covered in snow. Such a lack of effort at this place. We will not return.
Had the pasta bolognese. Not as good as it was. Beef was too finely ground. Flavor was meh. And whats the deal w booze these days? Had 3 Cosmos and a chocolate martini, and didnt even get a buzz...no longer going to drink when out, since it seems as if its all watered down......
Came here with friends to celebrate a birthday. Service was horrible all my food sat in the window getting cold before It got to me asked for parmesan and didnt receive it till everyone was finishing up their food. Food is way to over priced to receive the poor service we did. I let the front know but nothing was done. Would not recommend coming here.
Its sad to know people pay to eat here. Waiters need to shower or at least attempt to look presentable for service at a table. Tossing the straws from a foot away of the table and noisily placing plates/cutlery in the table is just unacceptable. Food quality: terrible quality and presentation, absolutely no dish is worth more than 5 or 6 bucks there. The kids dishes were so bad, they could not eat anything. For just a few extra bucks, you can go to Lindeys at the German village for lunch and get good service, flavorful dishes, and well presented food. Oh, and no tossing of straws from a foot away! The only reason I give it 2 stars, is because the 1 star is reserved for McDonalds and White Castle
Cant recommend, service was awful. Asked for a specific table out of the way, only to be told there was no server for that table. Hardly sat down as another hostess was seating a couple at that table! Food ok, last straw was when waitress reached into my dessert with her fingers to fish out spoon that had slid to the bottom of dessert as she placed in front of me. I had just asked for another spoon, she took it upon herself to reach in, stated she was going to rinse it off.
I made a reservation for my daughters birthday. They sat her all the way in the back. I showed up and the waiter asked what we wanted for drinks. Brought out the drinks without straws. I requested straws 3 times, and someone brought out more drinks. I said we dont need more drinks and we just got straws. Then we ordered 40 minutes later. The food came out another 40 minutes later. The waiter bring my steak dinner without a steak knife. I waited 15 to get a steak knife from another waiter. I had to ask for crayons 3 times, straws 3 times and no steak knife with my meal. The meal was blain....Then my to go order the manager brought over to me and said I hope everything was good and walked away. It was horrible service.
Poor service. Food quality was no better the a fast food italian place. Water was always empty. Had to request more bread and wine. One of our guys didnt get his salad at all. The menu didnt work on the phone very well.Overall, for what was expected, it was very disappointing.
Long time patron, but wont be returning. Heres why ...We have been going to Brio for years because of the food and atmosphere. But now, ever since Brio was bought out and under new ownership, it is definitely no longer the same.We recently, we went there for my sons birthday. The drinks were over-priced and the service was terrible. My daughter-in-law tried to order a Peach Bellini and was told they were out of it. So, she opted for an Espresso Martini and waited close to 30 minutes for it. Once the waitress finally decided to return, she said she would check. Needless to say, after a few minutes when our food finally arrived by someone else, we inquired about the drink yet again. Let me check with your waitress was the response. Finally, after we were half way done eating, the waitress finally showed up with the drink. No apology or attempt to make it right. In the former past, they used to include a basket of bread and lavash. They no longer provide the lavash. The excuse was due to cost cutting. Really, for the prices they charge?!In the former past, when someone had a birthday (or special occasion), they would offer that person a complimentary desert. Being fully aware that it was my sons birthday, he wasnt even offered a half scoop of ice cream. Really, for the prices they charge?!Bottom line, new ownership is not always good. Sorry, wont be back.
This 1-star is for the avocado toast on the brunch menu. It was 2 tiny pieces of bruschetta toast... very hard. Just a thin smear of avocado spread, so I couldnt taste it. The roasted tomatoes were cold! Like, they made them hours ago and put them in a jar in the fridge. Poached eggs were good but immediately cold due to the tomatoes. Shouldve been half the price for the small portion.
This place was nice and quaint.. I was there with my classmates and we had a good time. I had the chicken masala with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious but that was the 1st time I ever had chicken masala with mashed potatoes I always had it with noodles..
This was our first time. Our server was friendly and helpful. We saw her once or twice during the meal. The food was excellent. The restaurant was cold and felt drafty but maybe we sat too close to the door. I recommend the restaurant and will definitely go back and request a table further in.
Picked up an order for a GrubHub customer when I arrived the order was not even sent in yet at 11 in the morning on Monday. 25 minutes after the diner had placed the order. They also just left me standing up front with no information I had to chase them down to find out anything. Terrible service.Update 5 days later: accepted another pickup order for a customer went to the place they told me to be ready in one minute I stood there for 25 minutes they lied to me it turns out that they conveniently missed the ticket. This place is no better than McDonalds or some fast food place. I advise all delivery drivers to never take orders from this place its the worst place in Columbus for service
Went there with a group of 14. We are reasonably well dressed middle age people. Our initial drink order included bottles of wine champagne etc. Long story short we came to spend money. Service was so bad that when we left 2 hrs later 2 people in our party still had not gotten their food. The rest of us were done eating. Food was good but I doubt well be back. So much was wrong I dont even want to type it:( Lol
Sat outside. All visible staff wore masks-thumbs up for that. Waitress was enthusiastic and helpful, food was lackluster. Salad I ordered, the greens were browned and wilted. After 2 bites, pushed the dish aside. Cant believe they even served it. My cousin had a seafood pasta dish, she said it was tasteless. She did enjoy her shrimp and eggplant appetizer. And the cheesecake was terrible & the crust was very soggy. Ventured out for so-so food. So absolutely disappointed. One would think that during these times restaurants would step up their game to keep customers coming in. A pricey & bland meal-not worth the $$. The stars are for the appetizer, waitress and use of masks.
Terrible experience.... I went with my friend and we got seated literally next to the kitchen when I said I didn’t want. We never got our waiter/waitress. We waited for 10-15 minutes and we didn’t get anyone. What kinda restaurant is that. Don’t ever go to this place even when we left they didn’t ask us what was the issue. It’s like they just don’t wanna serve you. If there was 0 stars I would gladly do it. Hideous.
First time going there, I ordered a lasagna. I didnt like it, nothing like the ones Ive had from authentic italian places. It was falling apart, pasta way too soft, the meat had a weird taste and very strong seasoning (not sure what it was). I was super hungry and let me tell u im not a picky eater. 19$ to waste. My fiance order the shrimp casarecce pasta ($21) and did not liked it either; it was just bland, no flavor. From the 5 people that were there only 2 liked the dish they ordered. Im giving 2 stars, one for the server and 1 for the appetizers. The server was really nice and friendly. The appetizers where really good; calamary and crab cake those too for sure i will re order if I ever go back.
We had the chicken noodle soup which was delicious tons of chicken tastes like momma made it with love. I had the lobster ravioli appetizer was excellent light. He had the ribeye and loved it. I had the lamb chops. The lamb was so good I even cleaned off the bones. The pesto crusted potatoes are out of this world. This place is a must try. Service was excellent. Friendly staff. Definitely will return.
Excellent food always! I frequent Brio often and always have good service and this last visit was no exception despite some rude customers. The manager handled a potentially disastrous situation with fairness and professionalism, showing great character and judgment. Brio will continue to be my go to place for good food, wine and ambiance.
My granddaughter worked and saved 400 dollars to hire a limo for her 16th birthday. Her group was going to dinner and ride around in the limo., then the driver was taking each girl home. They waited 1 hour.and found out the waiter had not placed their order. The staff rushed the order. The meal was terrible. They did comp the order, but by then the limo driver only had enough time to take each girl home. After she worked so hard , the restaurant ruined her evening. Ill never go back.
The quality and taste of the food was not the same, we used to love coming here but the menu has very few items we like, and it appears to have the most expensive Entrées, but not the popular ones that were well liked , like the bruschetta and pizza or lamb. If people are taking a chance to come out and support the establishment have the things they like. The best part of are evening was the staff. Thank you for serving us and being safe.
Being a frequent patron of eating establishments, this experience was one of the worst. We have visited Brio a few times in the past, and generally it has been great. Today was terrible, and being a boomer, I still believe 70.00 on lunch for two deserves great service and food. Cutting to the point, we were served by a waiter that we barely saw during the entire lunch. We sat and watched people get seated, greeted, served, and left as we sat waiting for our food. When I asked the server that was taking care of the tables so well around us if our server had any reasons he might be slow, she was a bit short, as if it was not our right to inquire. We were there an hour and a half, our appetizer and meal brought out by others. My wife had to drink my water as hers was empty for 20 minutes.I was raised in an era when the customer was right, and my money was as good as the next table, deserving of equal treatment. A general rule is when someone has a bad experience, they just stop coming, but we wanted to let a manager know. All we were told was that it would be addressed. No details, no apologies.
Visited during the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant was very clean; appropriately social distanced. The menu is somewhat limited right now; but we understood. The missing star here was due to the fact that the menu stated sourdough bread; and it was good; but not sourdough. It also came unsliced with no way to slice it to share. My Sangria also had no fruit in it; which may be safety protocol; it was not said and I am not sure; but it was missed.
The food was good. They gave me rare steak instead of medium but fixed it quickly and were pleasant about it. However, the open seating concept made it really loud with a lot of background noise from other people chattering and the staff working. If you like all the white noise youll love it here. If youre like me and want a nice quiet dinner than this wasnt the best choice.
We had a party of 9 total (including a high chair) for a birthday dinner. The hostess was rude when we said how many we had, sighing and acting like it would be difficult even though the whole place was basically empty. We were then told that we could sit next to each other but at two separate tables due to COVID which we understood (even though Health Department states you can have up to 10 at a table). Once sat it took over 20 minutes just for them to bring us waters and get our drink order. Again, They were not busy at all, maybe 6 tables in the whole restaurant, with an abundance of staff. Once they brought us waters it took another 10 minutes to get two bottles of beer and a margarita on the rocks. Had it been busy we would have understood but over 30 minutes total to get our drinks is absurd. I put my sons kids salad in before anything else, asking for it to come ASAP because he was hungry, then we ordered appetizers. We were then served our appetizers all while seated at the two side by side tables. About halfway through our appetizers the manager came over and said we could NOT sit at the tables next to each other and moved half our party down to another table farther away from us where we couldn’t even speak to each other. At this point we were all very irritated but remained polite and understanding. When the server came to check on us I asked when my sons salad would be ready and let him know that if it wasn’t ready yet to just forget about it since he said our entrees would be up soon. It was NOT ready but he ended up bringing it 10 min later anyway right before the food showed up. When we finally got our food, My boyfriends steak was horrible. Overly well done when he asked for it to be medium-rare, and my grandfathers pasta was watery. The waiter was horrible, hardly checked on us at all throughout the way too long wait time and we even had to ask for silverware to be brought since he only gave it to 3 of us. I honestly don’t think we’ve ever had worse service and we are not at all demanding and never rude since we’ve worked in the service industry ourselves and understand what it’s like to have upset customers, so we didn’t want to be “those people”. I’ve never left a bad review like this before either but the experience was just so horrible from beginning to end that I felt the need to. Brio used to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to but this experience showed me how downhill they’ve gone and we will most likely not be back. I’m hoping that tonight’s experience was a result of COVID and if we do decide to try again in the future after all this is over that they go back to the way they used to be. It’s a shame to see such a nice restaurant falter this badly in so many different ways. Over $400 spent to be irritated the entire time was not worth it
Top notch service and the food was perfect. We actually had 2 servers and they were so attentive and were able to help one of my fellow diners with menu selections that could be prepared dairy free.I will caution you though this is fine Italian dining so the cost for dinner for 3 with 2 diners having wine and all 3 having dessert with tip was just under $200. It was a special occasion so we splurged but man do I want to go back. Highly recommend dining here.
Was awesome! Loved the food and some real different stuff too. Particularly surprised at sweet potatoes added to vegetables and were awesome. Ate some shaved meat dish (forget the name) was very good. Salmon was tender and juicy and calamari was the best ive had! Is a little pricey but there are very good thi gs on the menu that are inexpensive too. Bar was very nice. Had table in row in middle of dining room and at first felt booth was tight and seat a little uncomfortable but got used to it quick and had a good time. Will definitely be back!
Grilled salmon salad was delish. Surprisingly, the bar was less noisy than the restaurant so it worked out better to have dinner there as we wanted to talk. And we didnt feel like we needed to free up the table for the next group of diners. We had a yummy, leisurely dinner and caught up with a friend.
Happy Hour in the bar is excellent on weeknights. Good drinks, great happy hour food selection and awesome prices. Devine (spelling?) was a very attentive and polite young man serving us this evening. I would recommend him to anyone. Meatballs were a pleasant surprise and the calamari and shrimp with eggplant are a must.Wednesdays are 5 buck martinis! Worth the trip.
I have enjoyed excellent service every time I’ve come here. The food has always been very good, and is definitely a step above places like Olive Garden. I have also enjoyed take out from here many times, and it has always kept well for the 15+ minute drive home. The patio is nice as well, looking out to one of the courtyards. I’ve seen parents enjoying service on the patio while their kids play in the splash pad, which is a great idea I’d wished I’d thought of.
Enjoyed a great evening out for Veterans Day. Kudos to Brio for honoring our Vets w a free meal! Food and atmosphere were great, server very attentive, restaurant clean, nice conversation w manager. Especially important during these times are the safety precautions in place for guests and staff! Look forward to a return visit!
Everything was delicious!! I ordered the Pasta Alla Vodka and White Peach Sangria and both were excellent! I also received a lobster bisque which was heavenly as well! The waiter/bartender had a refreshing personality and fabulous customer service. I would gladly visit this restaurant again!
This was my first time eating there in serveral years. I quickly remembered why after i sat down. I was there for lunch with some co-workers. The food was nothing impressive, but the prices they attached to these meals is ridicules. The service was great. No complaints there. Save your money and go to another restaurant that has better food for a much better value. Lastly, please understand, i dont mind paying for a good meal. This was not one of those times.
Being asked to get up so that other waiting patrons may have my table just as I am finishing a meal of two appetizers, 4 cocktails and 2 expensive full meals was not a very smart idea. I was in the middle of an important business conversation when the manager asked if he could offer us a free dessert to desert the table for the next paying customer. We were there for just over an hour. I will not be going back, and I will not be taking customers back there ever again. How cheap and downright uncomfortable.
My husband loves this place but I wouldnt be sad if we never went back. Food - decent, but definitely not worth the prices. Ambiance - inside you cant hear yourself think its so loud. Service - usually best thing about this place.A couple of things that have really turned me off of this place - I have gone in with my daughter as an infant with a large party and they sat us literally right next to the window where the food is placed when ready, and placed the sling on the outside closest to the hot food. Really?! This evening we were next to a large group, that they placed at 2 tables diagonal from each other and the server was telling them how each table was a different server so they would have to order separately (there were 2 tables open and able to be pulled together right next to them that they ended up moving to, but why wasnt that offered in the first place and why didnt the server just trade a table with the other server so the party could have the same one?) Also we have gone here for my husbands birthday 3 years in a row, which is always mentioned on the reservation, and not once has anyone even said happy birthday. I dont need a free dessert or a song and dance, but it would be nice to recognize notes on the reservation other than the preference for outside seating. They pay attention to that one because they always tell us when we check in there are not any outside tables available.
In this crazy time of Covid, Brio did it right ! Our food came out faster than I thought, given how busy they were. The food came out PERFECT. Got the brio pasta and the grilled salmon fresca (trying to remember specific menu names) and it was made perfectly. Mind you at 9:30 P.M, close to closing time. Props to the kitchen staff. Props to our waiter also, Christian ! He completed the amazing vibe of outside dining and service Brio had to offer. He was super personable, tentative, and down to earth. Perfect ending to a perfect night. Thank you Brio and thank you Christian.
The Food is good and consistent. I suggest sitting on the enclosed porch since the main sitting area is extremely loud. Also, I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she add so much to the night. I would describe her as a young person bubbling full of joy and smiling her every step.
Food is o.k. Service is terrible. We were a group of 12 there for dinner. Some food was prepared well while others were not. It took over an hour to deliver food to the table. They past around a desert menu, but never took desert orders. They took 30 minutes to get our checks. When I received my check, there was an additional charge for the salad. When I ordered my dish, the server asked me what type of salad I wanted. I assumed it was included in the meal and was surpised to see a charge on my bill for it. I wont be going back anytime soon.
Had a very nice meal here to celebrate a birthday. It was a bit later in the afternoon, 2pm, and we had a reservation (Sunday on a holiday weekend, wanted to be sure we had a table). The only negative comment I have was that the hostess seemed like she would have been anywhere rather than there. She took the menus, put them on the table and retreated. No Enjoy your meal or anything else.
Been here a few times with mixed experiences. Sometimes it is great. Sometimes it is meh. And sometimes it is terrible. The inconsistency is not great. I went tonight and waited 45min (which is fine) but after that wait both my App and Entree were both cold. Not lukewarm. But cold.
We took our daughter here a couple days ago to celebrate her birthday and it was all of our 1st time here... very nice atmosphere.. the waiter was great too.. but when our food arrived the guy handed my daughter a scalding hot plate and she burnt both hands! He could have sat the plate down for her but she reached for it not knowing and he failed to warn her.. HORRIBLE manager experience! I ask our waiter if it was customary for them to hand customers a scorching hot plate and he said no and that he would have the manager come around.. she did and offered my daughter a dessert.. a dessert and glass of water so she could cool off her hand.. I EXPECT more than a free desert for turning what should have been a joyous occasion into bad feelings!

2022-07-12Passed by so many times and never went in. Well today was the day and it was well worth it. Just the wife and I so we didnt have to worry about anyone else which was nice in and of itself. We went in at 5pm on a Monday and it was immediate seating. The waitress was wonderful and everything was very fast.... probably because they were not busy. The bread at the start was hard on the outside and soft on the inside and I thought it was wonderful. Wife prefers softer outside. The food was great. I got the Brio pasta and wide got pork chops. We ended up swapping but both were really good. Ordered the pasta with not mushrooms though. Overall a great meal and would definitely go back. For two of us with just water to drink it was a $52 meal though. Good date night....maybe not so great for us and the 4 small kids.

2022-05-24When I first walked in, I thought that this restaurant was gorgeous. They werent busy and what we had ordered was on our table hot and ready to eat in no time. The pizza was absolutely one of the best Ive had in awhile. If you like a great tasting Sangria, definitely order one because you cant go wrong. We sat out on the back patio and it was just beautiful.

2022-01-10We hosted my sisters baby shower here and the event was perfect in every way! Anne was easy to work with and prompt with organizing the day details. Our server Jay was fantastic in every way. Everyone loved him and had such wonderful things to say about him. The food was hot, fresh and portions were large. The room & atmosphere were perfect for our event for 20 people too. I am actually excited to find another reason to have another get together here soon! Thank you so much for making my sisters day perfect!

2022-07-13Celebrated a birthday dinner this evening and it was wonderful. Our server, Wendy, provided top notch service for our entire meal. I haven’t dined in at Brio in years and I’m glad that I returned.

2022-01-19I’d give 3-1/2 stars. Like most places there was over an hour wait on a Thursday night. When seated there was a large table next to us that was waiting to be cleared, the two hours we were there the table was never cleaned. I thought that was kinda gross and definitely an eye sore. Of course restaurant under staffed we received silverware with our main course even though we had apps. We didn’t receive bread when arriving and had to ask several times before a small piece arrived after our main course. Food was good. I wasn’t a fan of the bisque all liquid no meat. Service was just the down fall of this visit.

2022-06-17The Flatbread I got for lunch had a lot of flavor and was cooked perfectly. My husband got the lobster bisque and pasta lunch combo which was really good too. The service was good and as quick as you would expect a place to be at lunch time.

2022-05-18Recently attended Brio for a friends birthday. Prior time Ive been to the Brio at Easton was prom like 10 years ago, so Ive been saving up for awhile to return & afford the place! Jokes aside, even though the prices are on the higher end, you have to consider this is a large premier Tuscan-esque restaurant located in the middle of Easton. Of course its going to cost more! Youre not only paying for the food, but the atmosphere and location. Its still pricey but not as much as some other Italian restaurants. Our friends ordered to share the Truffle Garlic Toast with Ricotta ($14.99) starter, which actually tasted delicious and came with a good amount of bread (not all bread is pictured in my pic). It came with Grana Padano Zanetti (fancy way of saying cheese spread) on the side, and it tasted great! Really glad I got to try this!My girlfriend got the Pesto Primavera ($16.99) which I got to try and was a bit jealous of! Shouldve gotten that instead! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Marsala ($22.99) which wasnt bad. It was the cheapest option under the Land & Sea section of the menu, yet I still felt like I overpaid for a very simple dish of mashed potatoes, asparagus, and a grilled chicken... The taste just didnt match the cost.Overall, I would describe Brio on Easton as a nice atmosphere to bring a date or to come here to celebrate a special occasion. Itll take me another 10 years to return probably unless a special occasion calls for it.

2022-04-29Split an appetizer and entree. Both good. Salmon slightly overcooked. They did a great job splitting the food. Really enjoyed the the lamb.

2022-02-10Waited 20 minutes after pickup time for carryout. Food was bland and mediocre. The tomatoes in the caprese salad didnt taste like anything. The chicken limone was just chicken breast coated in fried egg. The potatoes were cold and hard. The broccolini was limp. For a $25 entree, it left much to be desired.
