If you’re considering working for this company , just a heads up .. they do not care about you! The “we care” slogan is anything but true. I went to my higher ups to voice some of my concerns about the property manager and what has been going on. Instead of meeting with us to hear our concerns they instantly attacked me and then told me I was getting wrote up. Here I am trying to do the right thing and communicate with people I thought cared and they totally disregarded everything and pointed all blame at me. Kelley from HR is rude, and do not care about any employees unless you are manager. I was treated like I beneath them, and was not able to voice my concerns. Look at other management groups , you’ll be treated a lot better. This company will sweep issues right under the rug but then blame all the wrong people. What a joke BRG. Best to work my butt!
I have rented several different places over the past 13 years and this place is the worst. They recently changed management in the office and I agree with the other review the current staff is VERY rude. I have a bathtub that needs what they call reglazed as it is peeling off looks ghetto me and my dog would have to leave for at least 24 to 48 hrs and pay out of my own pocket to stay somewhere big inconvenience and at my expense. Ive had several issues with this place been there for 3 years, Ive experienced squirrels above me keeping me awake at night (i live on the top floor) a leaking roof, laundry room out of order for over a month due to some repair work they needed to do. Grounds arent kept up. The pool opened late last year and closed early. When I moved in I wasnt able to see the unit beforehand and the carpet was cleaned but had cigarette burns in it. Just a few things to beware of. Might look appealing from the outside but beware what youre getting into. This place needs a complete overhaul and new staff. if you want to keep good tenants work with them.
Not only are they a fantastic employer but I live at one of their communities and its great I would honestly live at one of there communities even if I didnt work for them because I see how professional they are at managing their communities and how they truly care about tenants.
I have been without AC now for 2 weeks, and the management at Timber Ridge isnt interested in fixing it, they just tell us daily lies. If my wife ends up in the hospital over this, Ill have BRG in court. Theyve had plenty of time to fix it but since we are moving at the end of the month apparently Stacey and her staff feel they do no longer need to honor the final 3 weeks of our lease.
When i moved out i was charged fines for things they counted as missing which were still in the apartment. Such a smoke detectors and a towl rack also my carpet wasnt covered under wear and tear even tho it wasnt new when i moved in and also had water damage due to a water heater busting above us. They did nothing about any water damage done to walls or carpet when this incident happend. We lived several months with almost no water pressure which was a joy when it came to bathing 3 small children. Also they broke their own contract by leaving obscure object in common areas ( a water heater sat outside for more the 2 weeks before another tenant moved it, this water heater was removed from the apartment across the hall from us aswell as moldy dry wall that had been taken out when their water heater busted that sat in our hallway for over a month). The foundation to my complex is crumbling and very unsafe, the maintenance can not keep up with all the mold problems and leaks that are reported and really dont care unless its a real emergency that needs to be handled that day, such as waking up to water pouring through my apartment onto my water heater from the apartment above. You constantly have to restart water heaters and the place has really become a dump. I highly suggest you do not rent from brg communities, a money hungry company that truly doesnt care about their properties until they need to rent an apartment out then that one apartment becomes their main priority to make it appear nice. Do not be fooled by this. They will also try to get every last dime out of you with no exceptions they will not try to contact you before they have the chance to charge you more no matter your situation. Their systems failed when i had made a payment on the first of the month and they charged me a late fee on my rent when in my 2 and 1/2 years had never been late, they didnt contact me to let me know it disnt go through until it was already considered late. And also they waited until December to charge me for month to month when i had signed my lease back in october but had my son early so i forgot to turn it in. they never tried to contact me about it and when i contacted them and turned in my signed lease for October they said it was null in void and that i would have to sign a new one for January to avoid month to month charges. The only brightside to riverside terrace has been their property manager but she can only do so much. The companys policies are bogus and they dont even follow their own contracts. If i could post pictures i would. So glad to have finally been able to get out of there.
I called BRG to talk to someone higher in the company than the property manager. The operator was rude, but whomever she transferred me to was worse. He answered the phone, “1-800 No” and hung up. I really want to drive over there right now, but I think I’m going to talk to someone about a civil suit, so I will be contacting other complainants.

2022-07-21I am posting on behalf of J Lewis who lives in Four Worlds. He was having trouble with his car and one of the employees name Darwin was able to help him. He was very polite and courteous and didn’t feel like it was not his job to help. Thank you Darwin for going above and beyond.

2021-11-07Great Company to work for very generous and sincere concern for there employees and lots of fun too. 😄 unfortunately 😔 I left the company due to environment and situations with fellow employees at my work site but nothing to do with BRG REALTY GROUP its self again a great company for both its employees and there residents. I would go back in a heart beat minus the environment I experienced before. 🙂

2021-02-05Lived here almost 8 years which unusual for apartment dwellers but over years due to unusual circumstances I must leave. I want to thank Nichole, Danyel, Dave and Justin who tried to make everything better. They all have been so sweet. And past employees Eric and Lucy. This is a very good bunch of folks. It’s very hard to leave here.

2020-07-02I have worked for BRG for almost 10 years. They are an outstanding company to be a part of. During the pandemic their leadership was incredible. They ensured their residents and employees they would continue to support them so that we could all get through this together. They truly care about their employees and their customers. They strive to uphold their mission statement ... and we care! I feel blessed to be a part of their company.

2020-07-02BRG is a unique family oriented company. In the big world of corporate, its nice to work for a company that cares about each individual employee and all of our wonderful customers. I always find myself bragging about my company to people. The most recent example would be all of the incredible help and support that they have provided for our residents and employees through COVID19. Thank you BRG!!!

2020-07-04BRG is the best company I have ever worked for. ... And we care rings loud and true on a daily basis. Last month I was filling in at a sister property in my portfolio for the entire month and came across things that I had not encountered/handled before and everyone that I reached out to for guidance was so kind and helpful and supportive it was beyond refreshing to know that everyone, all the way up to our CEO, truly has your back everyday and cares for all of us on a daily basis. What they have done for us as employees as well as for all of the residents during this COVID pandemic is unlike anything Ive experienced and I have residents call me regularly thanking us/BRG for being so caring and understanding during this tough time. 2020-07-02BRG Takes care of their employees. During this crazy time they have set up thing to keep us safe and keep the residents safe. They have also offered us a way to earn a bonus each month we work during the COVID situation. The team I am a part of has earned each bonus and I got a New computer with it!
