We had dinner tonight, and sat at the bar. The bartender Theresa was absolutely lovely. She was quick and attentive, even though the bar and restaurant were packed. The onion rings were amazing, the burger and pasta were really great as well. 10/10 food 100/10 service.
Disappointed that we show up at 12:30 PM, prime lunch time, and the smoked half chicken or wings aren’t available. If you’re going to have part of your menu unavailable up until a certain time, say that on your menu. I’m sure I’m not the only customer that was disappointed, the smoked half chicken is probably one of the main highlights of the menu.
This was a really good experience. The food and service were good. We had the blue cheese burger, spicy burger, meat lovers pizza, ceasar salad, brussel sprouts, and cheesecake. The burgers were half pound and cooked perfectly. The pizza was wood fired and delicious. Cheesecake was made in house. I would definitely recommend this place.
Excellent service at the bar with Teresa and Corey.I had the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly medium rare. Delicious! The Caesar salad was crisp and not over dressed.I also enjoyed the brussels sprouts. They were tasty. Although I think they were a little bit too done. Little too crispy.
Wonderful restaurant located within the El Dorado casino. We had the pulled pork sandwich and buffalo chicken pizza. Both were delicious. The pulled pork is nice and smoky with a delicious soft and toasty bun. The BBQ sauce is a delightful mix of smoky and sweet. The coleslaw is flavorful and not watery at all so it does not dillute the wonderful flavor of the sandwich. The pizza was cheesy and the buffalo sauce has just the right amount of heat. Love that the ranch is served on the side so you can choose how much to put on. Wonderful experience, great ambience, plenty of TVs for watching games, also had a great stage for live music at times. This is a must visit for great food and most items are reasonable price wise. The pulled pork sandwich was actually cheap compared to other locations. Dont miss this one!
Ordered the mushroom & Swiss burger: was slightly dry, seemed to need some sauce. Bun was soft.. Not toasted which is preferred on a delicious burger. The fries were very good. Also ordered : mac & cheese, add pulled pork. Wow, so cheesy & delicious. Not much bbq sauce on top so I ordered a sode of bbq and onions, seeing as it was only mac n cheese w pork.Appetizers were: onion rings & salsa. Probably the best onion rings ive ever had. Chips & salsa were very fresh. Im extremely full.We drank: Carano Extra 4.5% alc. Was so look good. Feeling good off of 2. Also tried the Big Dog IPA, very flavorful. Both made in house.Losing my new favorite place to eat out, though it is 25 minutes from home.Waitress Brandy B. Was awesome.
The Brew Brothers located right in the middle of the Eldorado Scioto Downs Casio is a great choice to grab a bite to eat. For us we had very quick and super nice service. The food from order to being placed on our table came out in record time also. I thought the quality of the Bacon BBQ Cheese burger was among the better burgers that Ive had in the past couple months and the French fries were the perfectly cooked also. I have nothing negative to say about our restaurant experience at the Brew Brothers. I would have to recommend this to everyone, especially those who are playing at the casino
I just want to understand why we got turned away at 725 for them not accepting people anymore, but other people who are diamond level 7 star get seated even tho after us in line. then my friend was talking to the host about 1 person in our group is a diamond players.another 5 Groups and couples get seated to eat? I really need someone to explain this to me. who is new but a friend in our group is a diamond level gambler. I see the owner actually responds to comments so please help me understand. 3 new people and a diamond level guy come to eat for a work event and gamble- and this is not how you keep people coming back for work get together.
We have never had an issue eating here until this past Sunday. When we were seated there were around 8 other tables with people. We watched servers stand around and talk for about 17 minutes when two of them walked by and said maybe someone should see if they want anything. They took our drink order and walked away. The one waitress was very rude when I asked about an item that had been taken off the menu. At this time I set a timer on my phone just to see how long we would wait. About 20 minutes later the manager walks by and goes to change channels on the TV. I ask him if someone could take our order and he did. We had our food in about 10 minutes. My husband ordered fish and he started eating it to find it raw in the middle. I wish I took a picture before they took it back and inspected it. I was served green beans instead of broccoli. When I asked for my broccoli I was given a bowl of fresh broccoli microwaved with no seasonings or anything. It was awful. Neither one of us ate our meal. The waitress returned and said that my husband ate part of the fish and they could not remake it and charged him 1/2 price for the fish dinner. He didnt even eat 3 bites. I understand being short staffed but this was not the case. I dont think we will return there to eat again.
Gotta say, I was presently surprised with both the food and beer here! The loaded fries were incredibly good, like strong contender for best smothered/loaded fries Ive had. The loaded nachos are also a great shareable! Now Im not one to enjoy craft beer, but we all ordered a flight, and four of the five I ordered are now on my favorites list! Fun place, great food, its a win for us.
Had lunch there last Wed. My husband ordered the tacos and I ordered fish and chips . His tacos were delicious . My fish was extremely heavy on the batter. It was ok but would not order it again.Your burgers are great and fries are excellent. We like your Salads as well . Service was fast and friendly as it usually is. We will return , but no fish next time ….
My friends had talked up the burnt ends, which I usually dont care for, but man Im glad I got them. The meat was pretty good, but the sauce was amazing. And the Mac and cheese was even better. Very nice restaurant with a lot of choices and very good staff. Looking forward to our next visit so I can try the wood-fired pizza.
My chicken club sandwich and fries were very good, the turkey wrap was also tasty, the burnt ends appetizer was really good, but not exactly how I expected burnt ends, seemed like just some cubed cuts of brisket. Wait for table wasnt too bad, but getting the food out was pretty slow. Our table was there for a total of about 2 hours for dinner... overall a good meal, just lengthy.
I’ve been here 3 times, first 2 times they were out of burnt ends which I had heard so highly about. When I finally dined in the 3rd time, we ordered them and they were not burnt but completely under cooked. We also got a pizza that was under cooked and almost tasted like a lunchablea pizza. The nachos which we also ordered were soggy and the cheese was coagulated like it had been sitting forever. I’ll be here to gamble but I’ll never come to eat again. We stopped at Taco Bell on the way home.
I got there Friday 7/2 when the races were ending and about 15 minutes to close and sat at the bar and Theresa the bartender was very happy to serve, whereas she could have folded up. I got a burger and a Hurricane, and they were great. The tab was $21 and I tipped Theresa $19. She was very happy I gave her business at close. Ive been to Brew Bros twice and both times were excellent!
Our waitress was less than attentive and actually quite rude on occasion. When asked a question about salad, we got a dismissive response. When my food came out and my burger was cold and mushy in the middle, instead of simply taking it back and getting another one, she argued that I ordered it medium. Medium means a warm pink center...mine was cold and mushy.
We drive a ways to get to this location. We got there at 7:50pm...and told they cant seat us but took a couple just ahead of us. They close at 8 through the week since they werent that busy anymore. THE PLACE WAS PACKED! If you are open to 8 you should have seated us! We eat there often and then enjoy the casino. 9pm makes more since...get new management! We walked out and went to Hollywood...OH is open until 9!
Went on a Sunday night because they are not very busy but still had to wait 10 minutes before someone came to seat us. Our server took our order and thats the last we seen him, he was busy takin care of his regular customers, One of the cooks brought us our food and the hostess brought us our check. I told the hostess the pork tenderloin was overcooked and she asked why I didnt say anything they would of redone it , I asked her who was I going to tell no one checked on us after we got our food to tell! We had to flag someone down just to get the check . Very disappointing will not be going back
My sis took me out and we went here to be stuck in a corner, forgotten on initial drinks, food order, refills as well as checked on never. 3 times she had to flag down staff. Her pulled pork sandwich was cold and dry with straight bbq sauce just poured on it. The pizza was average but at least hot. We shared the meals an both of us were sick to our stomachs about 4am and still sufferingat nearly 3pm the next day. Awful experience for my first there.
What a great place. So much bigger than my husband and I thought it would be. Ribeye steak was delish. We ended up splitting the one pound steak and saving the other one for at the hotel tomorrow. The Big Dog home brew was amazing. We bought the half gallon growler to take home.
I really hate to give bad reviews, but I had such high hopes that ultimately were not met.On the positive side, we were seated quickly (party of 7) and server was right there. Food took a long time to come out. I had the chicken wings that were cooked nicely, but I got the barbecue sauce. The sauce wasnt on the wings, but in a small ramekin on the side.I had the grilled chicken club that was extremely dry. I started with a flight of beer, but 3 of the taps were out. I finished the flight, but the server never asked me if I wanted another beer. I had to wait until he asked about dessert to order another beer. One person in our group had a burger and said it was good. My daughter got the French dip and said it was good. The place was very clean and an enjoyable atmosphere. Im just disappointed in the quality of the food I had and the lack of attention regarding my beverage. If I were to base this review on just my experience it would be lower, but since others in my party had good meals I dont think it would be fair to go lower than 3 stars.
I really enjoy eating here, the food is always very delicious. However, they keep taking away my favorite menu items, like the truffle burger, the best burger I have ever eaten. Also, the parm garlic fries, now, just plain fries. It is a very nicely decorated and cozy atmosphere, they even sometimes have live bands.
Ive had good experiences here and bad. Today was a bad one. I ordered some chips, salsa and guacamole to start us off. Im thinking they dont sell a lot of this because Ive had better chips from Taco Bell. Ive had better from a bag that has been open for 2 weeks. Pro tip for the chef; guacamole is more than just avocados. Our entrees took forever to arrive but were mostly okay. My club sandwich was a disappointment. You dont just throw everything you list going on your club sandwich between the bun halves and call it a club sandwich. I tried to ask the waitress if they were short staffed in the kitchen that day. I thought I was asking in a nice way but she seemed to take offense but otherwise her service was good. Folks, it is hit or miss here. Today was a miss for me.
Service was lousy! Took FOREVER to get our dinner.3 of 4 of us ordered broccoli. All 3 were cold. Not even a little warm. Steak was not cooked as ordered. Returned to kitchen and microwaved into grossness and returned.Gouda cheese on the fries was burnt. When the server brought new ones she said, same fries, but you dont get cheese this time.Very unfriendly server. Two other employees were playing around behind our table and throwing things at each other. If I could give less than 1 star, I would have.
If I could give them a 0 star I would. We were quoted a 1 hour wait and waited over two hours. Super disappointed that there was no follow up text or any care from anyone that we still had 7 names in front of us. It would have been a three hour wait at best which wouldn’t have worked with a 10pm curfew in place.
Went on a Friday afternoon, mostly quiet, not too many customers. Seemed to be plenty of employees and the waitress was attentive enough. Seemed odd that our food would take a half hour and be lukewarm when we got it. French Dip I got had more onions, cheese and mushrooms on it than the well-done prime rib that was on it. Au Jus was mostly a watered down beef and mushroom soup and had no flavor either. Overall it has a really nice atmosphere there and Im sure if you were drinking it would be fine too. I thought it was average, but the prices were about on par for sandwiches with fries anyway. Tried the creme brulee which was tasty but they burned the sugar to a very hard shell and it tasted almost smokey. Creme underneath was decent, but for $6 its a bit much. I might go there again if I need food driving past the casino, but otherwise I dont think Id go out of my way to eat there.
Please get some real chicken wings...its a brewery...it needs real chicken wings. The whole casino needs better food. The buffet is horrible and brews brothers isnt far behind them. Thank God the burgers are half way decent and good. Thank God comps pay for it because I would never pick to eat at either place if I had to pay.
Went this evening to give them another chance. My wife liked the Spaghetti and meatball when you opened, disappointed now. The spaghetti was barely warm and the meatball wasn’t much warmer. Chicken Fajitas were the nights special so I tried that. The server stopped after a while and said they needed another minute on the Fajita. A minute later it came on a chilled skillet and the chicken was cool to the touch. I don’t think we’ll try again.
Lets see... To start, I came here on both 7/17/19 and 7/18/19.On 7/17/19 I came in with some friends, great service, great food.I had the Ribeye, medium rare, cooked to perfection. I also had the Queso fondido chorizo poblano dip with chips. Amazing flavor.5 stars. On 7/18/19 I came in and was the only person in the restaurant aside from wait staff.I asked for Corey, who Ive had many times before when Ive been here. What an amazing server! This man deserves a promotion. My drink glass was never empty and my belly was full. Amazing recommendations of the Jorge Burger and the Brownie Sundae with Cherry Ice Cream!I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants Amazing food for an amazing price.Another 5 star experience!
If there was a possibility for a zero that is what the rating would be. Took 7 minutes with no one in front of us to get seated. Then we ordered our drinks. I got a non sweetened ice tea and my husband ordered a root beer float. My ice tea came and as expected had to wait on the float. When the float finally arrived it was running over the glass and running all over the plate the server brought it on. I’ve never seen a root war float served on a salad plate but I guess we know why. My husband tried to drink it but it was just a mess. When we saw a bus boy we asked him to take it. The server saw that my husband no longer had the float at the table she cane over and said do you want water. The proper reply should have been “my apologies that you didn’t like the float is there anything else I can get you to drink sir” Anyways moving on never was asked if we wanted an appetizer she just asked us if we were ready to order. I told her we wanted pretzel bites for an appetizer and then went to place my order. I wanted chicken Alfredo but this restaurant was out of chicken breasts “really” so instead I ordered a 4 cheese calzone and my husband order edition pan seared salmon. When the food was brought out the appetizer came and then not even 2 minutes later the entree came out. Pretzel bites were disgusting. When I cut into my calzone water came out because the sauce quality was so poor. My husbands food was so bland that he couldn’t finish it. Then the cheesecake for dessert I think it was spoiled we ate one bite and it was disgusting. Very poor food quality especially for a Casino restaurant. What a shame.
New Years Day 2019. This was my First and LAST time here. I ordered a Cheesesteak that is supposedly a signature item for them. Not so much. Very dry and “steak” tough. My server and I tried to figure a way to moisten the sandwich....mayo...ketchup....Wow. She offered to take it back but by that point I was highly hesitant to send anything back and I just wanted out.The bill was $12 and some change for a dry, tough cheesesteak and 10 French fries (I counted them). I asked the server to have mgt. discount the meal. The female “Manager” never came to my table, never identified herself, never asked me personally about anything regarding the experience. They took a whole $3 off-no apology whatsoever. Apparently, they needed that $12 way more than I did.I would NEVER recommend this “Restaurant” to anyone. I frequent the Hotel and Casino and have great experiences; but this here today was absolutely ridiculous.
This was my first time dining out at the Brew Brothers restaurant. We planned and had our Christmas party dinner there, this was NOT a good experience for our party. We started off by ordering our drinks while we waiting for our food. While we were waiting part of the ceiling fail on our table and by luck it did no fall into our drinks. Once the food arrived so did the bird that resides in the resturant and the waitress acknowledged that the bird is flying around us and our food. Needless to say we did not stay and eat our food.
My birthday weekend. Thought menu looked great. Hostess took our name for a 2 table. Said wait would be 1 1/2 hours. Had a couple drinks at bar..appetizers. Drinks and bartender (Tyler) were excellent. 2 hours later still waiting. Decided to leave. Irionic thing...was THERE WAS A a 2 table available the entire time we waited. Strange system. Will not go back. Very disappointed, especially, since it was my birthday.
Food was great but service was horrible. By the time we got there they were busy but there wasnt a wait and there were several empty tables. We waited about 10-15 minutes just to order drinks, so by this time we were ready to order but after asking our drink order, she ran off. Came back with the drinks then left for another 10 minutes. We placed our order, waited about 20-25 minutes for the food. She dropped it off then left. She didnt approach again until she brought our checks.
Have visited this place a few times and I think I’ve finally learned my lesson. If you are gambling and need a bite to eat this place is ok. Very convenient. This isn’t the place you go to for dinner and drinks. Food is a standard fair.We always did the burnt ends and deluxe nachos. Burnt ends are chicks of beef brisket. Hit and miss. Sometimes they have been riddled with fat.Have domestic beer and their own brew on tap. Don’t expect any local beer selection. Biggest knock for me is your forced to drink their beer which isn’t all that good.Service is ok. Nothing special. Bartenders are friendly.
This was the first time eating there. I decided to do a take out item. The food was good, however, I noticed when I got home that I was charged an additional .25 for a to go charge????? on every item that I ordered. It wasnt much only..$.75...but as a paying customer I should have been told or a sign posted somewhere. Ive NEVER heard of this kind of fee before. IF I decide to come back and do another take out Ill be sure to skip/deduct the amount from the tip.
Brew Brothers was a great place to eat. Located in Eldorado/Scioto Downs Casino. I had ate there with a large party (about 40 people) and they accommodated us very quickly and courteously. The wait staff was very professional and quick. The portions were big and plentiful, with great craft in house brewing. Pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the food was top notch.
Service was pitiful. Waitress only came to the table twice and never brought back the ranch or iced tea asked for. The food was average. Nothing to write home about. I figured being a microbrewery that the beer would be the high point. They were out of several of their beers that were supposed to be on tap and the waitress wasnt even aware that they were part of the Columbus Beer Trail. She actually told me they didnt stamp books and werent part of it after I asked her to take it to the bartender. I got the Jerry, it was an ok Cherry Sour, but it wasnt the best. Overall it was a horrible experience.
I was driving by yesterday and saw they had a “Thank You “ to our troops - and I thought after how you treated our son, you have a lot of nerve. It was May 20 and our son had just graduated high school and was leaving for Marine boot camp. He had one last night out with us and we could have gone anywhere, but he chose Brew Brothers. Their kitchen was understaffed (we were told) and service was slow. They said they stopped seating but had seated the couple in front of us. We said we didn’t care if service was slow - we wanted to spend time together and our son was too young to go to the casino. They refused to seat us. I contacted them, received a canned response. No follow up, no contact and no apology.
No to go service- great food though just would have loved a little more sleep. As a night time driver thats important. Hubby could have gotten food to go and I could have gotten another hour of sleep before we had to go. Now Im up, sitting inside to eat instead. Ugh. I really wanted the burnt ends so whats a girl going to do
I ordered the ohio bbq turkey burger. The burger was a frozen premade patti. It had no seasoning and very little sauce. I asked for no veggies but i got onions. I only ate half of burger and when waitress came out to ask how everything was i told her. All i got was a oh! No sorry or would you like anything else. This had to be the worst burger i have ever had.
We requested a table at 5:15, were not seated until 6:40 after we were told 3 different storys from hostess and then the manager that there were no guarantee on wait time. Then it was 7:30 before our food arrived to table. I understand busy high volume times but for not even an apology for the wait? Unprofessional ! Not much chance of us returning.
Horrible service and food....drinks took 30 minutes. Food arrived before drinks. Never checked guests once food was delivered. Burnt ends could not be eaten. Server did not come back to see if food was ok. Horrible management due to lack of caring for guests and service. Will never return
Wow what a huge disappointment! The watresses and waiters all stand around and talk all kinds of orders are sitting ready to go out. Food not completely hot. Your not checked on and they walk around like they have all day!! Will never be back and will let my friends and family never come here a waste of time.
I would put a negative star if it would let me. The hostess staff there is beyond rude! Service is slow and appears they need additional servers. Little consideration for customers. Hostess was extremely rude to our party and after waiting more than 2hrs we ended up leaving. Very disappointing, will not be back
Sat down ordered appetizers they came to table just started to eat them when our salad show up not even time to eat our appetizers ask the waiter to slow down but food came out anyway to fast..the bake potato was cold ask for new one them my bacon blue burger was not cook to what I ordered ask for new one it came out cook with no bacon on it..so got upset said just take off bill and did not eat..left hungry very upset with the way you are treated like eatin at fast food....

2022-07-01Really big open space that provides a great atmosphere. Nice patio that’s covered and uncovered. Food was excellent and of course the beer was on point. Great service, too.

2021-11-06Brew brothers gets a three star rating because it truly is just ok. I’ve visited multiple times hoping that maybe I just haven’t found what is good on the menu yet and every time I leave disappointed. I will say that the drinks are good and I love that they have multiple TVs. Brew brothers is the perfect place to go watch a football game and then go gamble.Today, my family just ordered appetizers to share which included onion rings, pretzel bites, Mac n cheese and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers are dry and that Mac n cheese tastes like it came from a buffet. The pretzel bites would be my horse if I end up eating there again, but once again, they are not anything to write home about. I had a Patron margarita and it was delicious. The hostess was very congenial and our server was fantastic and attentive. I hope their food improves.

2022-05-08A very cool and convenient restaurant with excellent food, ample parking and excellent service! Nothing but my highest marks to Rachael O. for flawless service. Perfectly timed in every way. The fish and chips are amazing. Served hot and I can never finish all the seasoned fries. I refuse to leave any of the generously sized fish!! Pair that with your brew of choice and it just doesnt get much better than that! Since my first visit, we have tried the turkey wrap, burnt edges and chicken tenders. All excellent!! The restrooms are beautiful. You can enter from inside the casino, directly from the outside entrance via the patio or the general entrance past the patio entrance. My fish and chips + 1 bottled beer was $19.29 w/o tip.

2022-04-02After waiting over an hr to get out meal and watching the tables around us finish theirs, I told the waitress to cancel our order. She said sorry, but they gave our food away. (Not sure why they wouldnt tell us what happened). She did let me know I still had to pay for the appetizer. If someone let us know what happened probably would have finished. I paid exact change for what I owed and went to the Cafe without any problems.

2022-02-22The service was very good. Erika is a fantastic server! The food however was this issue. Our starters took 45 minutes to get to our table, the wings were super dry. It took about an hour for our mains to get to the table and the steaks were over cooked and missing the extras ordered. For the price the food was merely ok. Our server was the highlight of the outing.

2022-05-02This place is pretty good. As expected for a brewery, the beer selection is limited so if you like a certain brew, you wont find it here. However, youll for sure find something you do like, only with a higher alcohol content! 🥴 The food is pretty good too. The burnt ends melt in your mouth!

2022-04-10This place is beyond excellent. We had the onion rings for appetizer and they was great. Our server was so nice and smiling and her service was more than appreciated. If I could give this place 10 stars I would, I look forward to coming back and the 2 hour wait was definitely worth it.
