I found myself needing assistance and was dreading the long process and waiting time. I was so impressed by the efficiency from the minute I pulled in. Let me applaud the people that work here. It was like an assembly line and what would have taken several hours elsewhere took only a few to get through. Thank you Breathing Association for making this difficult time à lot less stressful for me!
Love the breathing Association they are a great group of people who know what theyre doing to help people establish service, help with discrepancies in build bills. But its hard for me to get in and out of the building. This year I wont be unable to go in October. I have a hip replacement that is on the schedule already and that time of the month is when I go. I have been told that I am able to do it over the phone and will do so thank you once again for this service.
No help im a senior and we are not going no where in this cold world they treat us any kind of way how would they live to grow old and get. the same feelings you dont really matter after you wont hard and now youre with no to start somewhere in the world better to help yourself and others. history is just more hard
I want to give both locations; Henderson and Main Street, the best reviews that I am able. I called both locations with a problem and they both went beyond the call of duty to help me. They (both locations) treated me as if I was their only consumer of their services; and I know they are overwhelmed with calls, but they acted as if I was their only consumer each time I called. They took the time to listen to me and gave me instruction as to what I had to do to resolve my problem. Miss Pam Bailey really went beyond (most likely) what she usually does. The Henderson site (I dont have the representatives name) also went lengths to help me. Then I am thinking (the supervisor) called to see if everything was taken care of for me. You would think that they would have that tired attitude, but no, they dont. They treat us with respect. May they all be Blessed for their time and effort to help the community. Most people who are in Social Services, and especially, at the end of the day; show through their vibe that they dont care and have no time for questions and answers for the person on the other line because they are tired BUT NOT THESE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE! THEY STICK AND STAY WITH YOU UNTIL THEY HAVE HELPED YOU. I vote that they all get a RAISE! They deserve it. Again may you all be blessed.
They have improved this important program by providing a list of additional resources in the community for helping families meet challenges of daily living. Having a computer and printer available for clients to access required verifications online was a smart idea that saves time.
They used to be great. Now, under their new director, she has created an environment where staff will treat you like scum--and get away with it. Due to having special needs kids, we qualify for the pip program..its been the only program we need to make ends meet. Despite qualifying under govt guidelines the breathing association caseworker denied us for 2 seperate visits. Both caseworkers took a judgemental attitude and spoke to us like we were trying to pull something. I have only ever gone to this location and they have been pleasant and genuinely caring to help us with our pip verification. Not now. The new crop of caseworkers under the director treat clients suspiciously. While in the cubicle i saw other people have the same experience. We were denied pip with a family of 4 income under 20k. It was demoralizing and the caseworker became extremely rude, very fast. I asked to speak to the director and understood immediately why the caseworker turned rude-- because its trickle down attitide from the mamagement. We went directly to the other agency that verifies pip. We were treated respectfully and the staff was friendly. We were approved for pip same day while the breathing association denied us twice with shut off bills and after absorbing hours in both visits. I feel they need reported. They are not honoring their mission statement to help low income families.
They are so rude. I was 5 minutes late for my appointment and they wouldnt take me. It was 5 o clock traffic, I got there at 5:31 it took me 4 minutes to walk all the way to the Back of the hospital (main street location). I just had foot surgery (2 broken toes) and Im still healing from that so I cant walk too fast. Then said theyre booked out the rest of the month so i have to go across town to the Henderson location to get another appointment. Im definitely calling the better business bureau. Thats bs. When I walked up they were already trying to walk out the door.
This place is great. They offer alot of different programs. If u cant affored these out ragous prices for gas & electric. This place will help. Asl about water application too. Not going to lie its alot of paperwork u need to go but in the end it helps. They gave me a free air conditionor. They make these high bills afforable. You will need proof of 90days of income. If u dont want to wait for an appointment then u have the option to show up @ 6 & been one of the first 25 people to b seen. They only take 25 walks ins a day. Tip get there ealry to ensure ur seen.
I arranged an appointment to reverify my electric bill thru PIPP! My husband has COPD. So, we go to them for assistance. The people that work there are super efficient! The PIPP employees have a tough job. But, their always nice and try to get you in and out within a timely manner.Just make sure you arrive with all the correct documents.
They help you with all sorts of things. They have a clinic for people that have breathing problems. They also help you sign up for pip for utilities. They even try to give elderly people that have breathing problems fans and air conditioning for there homes. I love this place
I have asthma and have had it my whole entire life. I remember when the breathing Association was the central Ohio Lung Association and they have been there for me and helping me with my asthma over the years and they continue to help people with asthma and other breathing problems
I have been diligent in calling at 7:oo am over 125 times to schedule an appointment to reverify my pipp plus ...at 7:01there booked for the day...since my last revirifacation i have been diagnosed with stage four larnyngeal cancer and cant stay away from my apt for to long as i am being fed thru a g tube in my stomach every 4 hours along with my meds...i start calling at 7:oo am and by 7:01 there full for that day...how is that possible. ..your my last and only help in this matter...sincerly yours ,jeffery harrison...last 4 of my ssn is 8430
Well breathing is what people need if you cant breath something bad will happen to your lungs DONT GO OUT SIDE!!!!!!!!! SO YOU DONT GET SICK!!!! YOU HEAR ME!!!!!! People have to breath or they die!!!! SO DONT GO OUT !!! People need oxagen to breath people dont want to die people want to live THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2022-04-05They lost my paperwork after I sent it sign on delivery. I turned my paperwork in AGAIN. It was not processed. I went to go see what was the status as they don’t answer the phoneNOBODY was there.The staff were sat in the back chatting and eating donutsI waited two hours for the woman to come out and say we can’t locate your paperwork

2022-03-23I been on hold an HOUR and you can hear when someone clicks it right back to the music this place is ridiculous this is crazy that they have you on hold this long WHY aint noone around to answer the phone line when they knows its 1,000 of people trying to get help SMH then too top it off on the music they says they look forward to speaking to you WHENNN

2022-01-03Will probably be evicted. I stay in housing based on my utilities having to be on. Called set up an appt and was told utilities are in hold until appt day. 2days later my electric is off because a call and hold was never done. After being hung up on, on hold over a hour and a half I was told they could only help me if I made it in that day in 43mins. 43mins!! O gety baby dressed, bundled and on the bus across town

2021-08-17Awful staff everyone dont know nothing seeking help go to the libary, or ask a family member to help you? Whats the staff for an computer sitting right in lobby& no one to even say come into our office an some one will assist you. Every body dont own a computer! So unprofessional. When it comes to helping the public out. & for rental/ utilites assistance they make it harder than pulling teeth😭.: like money coming outta their pockets! Total run around& who carries important information to the libary to either upload or download! Whats their job: go to the libary/ or have a friend, relative, help you. Unprofessional! & Stephanie Hightower. Need to have a more mature an professional staff! Where you at when problems arise!😒😞😷

2020-11-02Social distancing is in order. Front desk is very polite and helpful (Bobby). Computers run extremely slow, but IT tried to assist even during this pandemic. Worker called promptly Breanna) and had internet issues but called immediately once she arrived in the office 👍🏾
