You know what you get the place is clean and tidy all the staff do have face masks on and everyone that comes through the door is greeted which is nice.Went with 2 eggs hash browns and sausage was really good staff polite and friendly food is done fast all in all a good experience and will go back again.
It was apparent that the workers were overworked. I got there around closing time there were four tables that still had dishes on it I watched as the worker closed up and just left the dishes were still left on the table this could cause roaches or rodents so the cleaning is part was not great also.
Staff with attitudes, managers not caring about how their customers are treated. Went in there on Saturday night stood around for an hour to have my order taken to go the cook was overwhelmed because the server disappeared when the server finally showed up she had nothing but an attitude will never be back again
With other late night choices closed, Waffle House was open and busy. While we did not end up waiting for food, the two employees that were working deserve all the praise! Guests at tables, a line out the door for to go, and they were on it. Will definitely return another time to get a late night fix of pancakes and potatoes.
I am a Waffle House connoisseur of Waffle House, so I am reviewing this location based on my experiences at other Waffle Houses.This location was bright, clean, fast, tasty, and friendly. My girlfriend and I were able to find an open table on Wednesday morning, and we were promptly helped by the staff. Our food came out fast, hot, and fresh.
Visited Saturday 10/9. Quite simply the best diner experience Iβve ever had. Jamie, who greeted and served us, absolutely killed it. Next level service and positivity. They were clearly understaffed, with just two cooks working. They were SLAMMED and still managed to bang out well-made meals and keep their heads. Thanks again to Jamie, and everyone else there.
Was told at another waffle house they were too busy to take orders so I came to this one after. I am so glad I did they immediately took my to go order and went above and beyond with customer service this is the nicest most customer service friendly waffle house Iβve ever been to. They went above and beyond with offering services and got my food out in six minutes while being very busy great experience!
Was trying to catch a quick breakfast on our way back to Columbus. The wait staff didnt even acknowledge us or greeted us as we stood there for 10 minutes. Felt like I was being stared at and realized I was the only ethnic person standing in the place. So we turned around and left.
There have been several restaurants that I frequented in college that I revisited later in life that made me question what I used to enjoy about them. Waffle House is NOT one if them. I ate at Waffle House for the first time in 20 years and it was as amazing as I remembered it to be in college. Great burger and fantastic hashbrowns with all the extras!
The staff was nice. The restaurant was dirty. Servers taking orders without mask on talking over our beverages. They also served my husband a raw chicken sandwich. The experience as a whole was bad and regardless of the nice staff we will never eat there again. It was disgusting.
This Waffle house is the definition of greasy spoon. A busy diner with waitresses shouting out orders to cooks who sling the perfectliy griddled waffles, crispy hash browns. and the eggs exactly as ordered at a break neck speed. The servers are friendly and joke with regular customers as if the were kin.
Stopped here for breakfast and just blown away how friendly the staff is how clean this place is. I wasnt expecting the friendly clean place much much better compared to other waffle houses Ive been to. We had a party of 5 and the cleaned an area up really quick for us no problems. The door gentleman just made this place so much better too opened the door and seated us with a smile. Must be the coffee here. If in the area again I will definitely come back.
The overall experience was delightful. I had a party of 5 and the manager went above an beyond to seat us together and promptly. He was very nice & entertaining he even had fun with the little children in the restaurant. You can clearly tell the workers enjoyed working there . The waitress was nice an quick good was delicious. Cheered my day up , I definitely recommend this Waffle House
There were 3 people working the midnight shift just off of Mason-Montgomery Rd exit. One of them was still new and learning, but all three of them were Exceptional. The staff were out going, personable, friendly and the food was probably the best that I have ever had from a Waffle House!
Great food always fast people are super nice too and very clean but stop turning off the phone I used to eat there 5 days a week but if I cant call in my order I dont have time to wait I have no choice but to find a different place to eat 5days a week stop turning off the phone line your loosing business
These guys may not always answer the phone in order to place a pick up order but they are ON IT and make your order EXACTLY how you want it quickly.They always remember everything you need for a carry out order, utensils, sauces, butter, etc. I love this location and Sharonville and Milford are good too.
I asked my server what the drink was that i couldnt think of the name at the time(it was bubble tea) and was told in what i can only imagine was his way of embarrassing me in front of all the people in the restaurant that i dont have time for this . it was unnecessary and extremely rude. The fact that he felt bad after isnt relevant to me. Wait time wasnt bad and food smelled goos tho, 2 stars
Very fun experience! All employees are exceptionally friendly. They yell Welcome to Waffle House when you enter while they are on the prep and cooking line. The waitresses yell the orders to the cooks. My husband explained it best, Organized Chaos. The food was great! I had a pecan waffle. It was on not those big thick waffles, which was nice!
Only two guys were working because Joe Biden created a labor shortage through inflated unemployment checks but that because ng said the service was great. The guys were working hard and still pleasant and professional given the chaos. Those are the people I would want working for me.
Where do I even start on how awesome our experience was here tonight??!! The staff was responsive and cordial immediately upon our arrival. Our kids were first time Waffle Housers and the staff focused on the kids giving them their meals first. Our waitress was prompt and got our meals fast and checked on us frequently. The food was delicious and throughout the meal we were entertained with jokes!!! It felt like we were with family. I felt like I should be paying more for the experience. We will be back more. Hands down the best Waffle House experience we have had. Hats off to Amber, Margarita and Rob for all the fun kids jokes. You should all get raises! We canβt thank you enough. Our daughters first day as a first grader couldnβt have ended in a better way. Cheers to you all. Thanks so much!
The server was very rude. We called our order in from the parking lot. She told us they were really busy so she would only take our order if it was small, they had 1 table with 5 people. I went inside to pay and she would not let me pay for our food until she was ready to ring it up. It is Waffle House, so Im not expecting 5 star service but friendly, honest, service would be appreciated.
I love Waffle House. The staff seems very nice but everytime I come in itβs like thereβs one server and one cook and it takes FOREVER. Waited 15 minutes for drinks. Whoever the manager is they are not doing a great job at all. Thereβs no reason there is one server for ten tables
There was just one girl working the grill, and one girl taking orders and about 12 people in the restaurant. This was not an issue at all, though. The female cook was very impressive, to say the least, and the one server got everything right. Very pleased with my visit. The employees at this location are great at their jobs.
Food selection was fresh, good and timely. Waitress did not bring my beverage until the meal arrived. She was not attentive with me and my water, did not keep glass filled. Took much better care/ much more attentive ofher male customers; although they may have been regulars.
I am not happy saying this...but, this wh was absolutely the worst waffle house I have ever eaten at! Everything was burnt..π on a good note..the staff was friendly and the coffee wasnt bad. But, just for further reference..if you are going to work 3rd shift, learn to cook. Not everyone that comes in is drunk! Thumbs down on this one!π‘
The waitress was polite, the old man that was cooking made us feel uncomfortable. He was staring at us as if we didnβt belong. I spoke to him to break the tension, and then he started cooking our food. The food was inedible. The eggs had shells throughout, from small sized to as big as dine size, Iβm sure it was intentional because of the amount of shells inside the eggs. Anyone else would have tossed the eggs and started fresh. Soggy un-toasted bread and the steak was asked for well done, barely cooked, seared unseasoned meat. Iβm never spending money at this location. If you have any color in your skin, beware of this location. We obviously are not welcomed....
Amazing and delicious. Fast and easy. If you need to get in and out you can. Its a great place to eat on a cold day and on a warm day. Its family friendly and the employees are great. The food was delicious. They have sweet and savory items that will make you salivate. Everytime I go I enjoy and great meal and dessert. Absolutely fantastic and I cant say it enough delicious and more delicious and also delicious.
Love this waffle house. They people are so friendly and take such good care of you. Bill the manager is one of the best Ive seen. He is really part of the team. There is nothing he wont do to help out his crew. Besides the food is way good. Thanks for starting our morning off right.
I always thought great things about this company and even gave them the benefit of the doubt when I watched how unclean one of the locations was and how much they dont care about customer service. The food is sub par I can make better food on my own stove. If your looking for something quick and easy that cares about its customers go to dennys your better off not touching waffle house
I had to have them re-cook my scrambled eggs because they were all cheese... Got new eggs and they were still just as cheesy and bad. Then our server went in the back and proceeded to get in an argument with another employee and the whole restaurant had to sit there and listen to them argue and cuss. Stood there for 10 minutes waiting on my check, the server never brought it because she was back there arguing so I just put money on the table and walked out. good thing Im from out of town because I would never come back to this location...
Came to this place only 2 people in the place at around 2:30. Soon as I pull guy comes to the door and says their close for 40 mins. Closing for what? Only 2 people in the place eating. What are you catching up on? If you have people eating in there, how are you closing. No one seems like there in a rush. Seems like a double standard establishment!
Ive been going to Waffle House for 16 years now, ever since I was a teeny little kid. My dad has been going for closer to 50 years. Every time, its amazing service, friendly staff, and good food. Its not just a waffle house, its a waffle home. My only complaint is they dont have one closer to my house (Fairmont, WV).
Been awhile since Ive been back to the Mecca. New fresh crew working the late night. They were upbeat, cleaning and were on top of things. And no insecure boyfriends sitting in the booth watching their baby momma make money. Kudos. Food was prepared and served great as well.
Worst experience EVER at any Waffle House in any state. Every booth had dirty dishes on them even though there was only one group of four eating. Myself and husband had to eat at the counter no big deal but tables remained dirty during our entire visit. Then when it came to our order they gave mine to another person on accident...then when it came it was only half there, took them a 3rd try to get my toast. My husband was done eating before my meal even came. Seems to be a pattern there, at least that night, because I kept hearing people complain about issues including the staff complaining to each other. I will NOT return, which is sad because pre-remodeling we would eat here regularly.
Worst experience ever at any Waffle House. They werent busy yet our food took forever to come out. It definitely wasnt worth the wait because everything was Disgusting!!! Cold food, burnt eggs, waffles falling apart, asked for extra hot grits and they came out barely warm. The best part of my meal was my orange juice.
Literally the worst waffle house Ive been to. Stood there for 35 mins before the lady even took our to go order. Once we got our food, we realized we didnt get 2 orders of bacon on top of my friend whos allergic to gluten receiving toast she told them to hold. By this time, it wasnt busy, the server just didnt want to do her job. Going back in, it took pointing it out 2 more times that we still didnt have what we ordered. Tried giving us literally a peice, before showing the manager that we still didnt have it. Bacon was burnt to a crisp or barely cooked. Waffles were great; about the only thing that wasnt awful.
Theres nothing bad to say about this waffle house. And having been to several waffle houses in my time, thats what I like in my roadside greasy spoons. This location in the chain is nothing special, but it has given us good food at all times of the day, and thats exactly whatI expect from it
Literally the WORST experience Ive ever had in a waffle house. Wait staff is incompetent and slow as Ive ever seen. I waited for 35 minutes to order a to go order. Then after being ignored they took the order of another person before me because he stood at the counter looking mean and I waited patiently. So insanely disappointed. I will never return under any circumstance.
Waitress did not want our service. Instead of seating a party of 6 she split our party up in spite of our request to sit together. Never coming back. Worst customer service of a waffle house restaurant Ive ever been too. Definitey should reconsider staffing and managment for future customer to have a more pleasent expirience.
Stop by after a trip to kings island to eatEnded up getting a dirty coffee cupAfter I sent it back I got a clean cup and room temp coffee. My son got a glass of coke with a strip of gravy inside. and his hash brown bowl had busted blue ink pen on it. The the waitress said that the bowl was made like that but I rubbed it and sure enough blue fingers....I ordered the steak& eggs meal with smothered hash browns and buttered toast. Eggs scrambled steak well done ... Im thinking this would be hard to mess up but. They brought me. Eggs and hash browns told me I didnt get a steak. No butter on the toast and nothing in the hash browns so they said they would adjust the check I wasnt happy but after a long day at kings island I just wanted to eat and get some sleep however when I went to pay they informed me that Ineeded to pay the original price on the check and not the reduced price because they didnt know how to add it..π Ill never eat there againhowever the next day we went to Hooters next door and the service was great. ordered 50 piece boneless wings for the 5 teen kids to share. and us adults set in booth right behind and I couldnt have asked for better service the place was clean good clean fresh food. Only my second time ever eating at a Hooters but Ill be a frequent customer from now on
Well, I cant say the food is fine star, but I ate all of it, and some of my wifes because the plates had more than she could tackle, but I was starving after a stressful drive, with more hours to go, at midnight.Staff was funny, or was it giddy after a long shift. Either way, we enjoyed them.Next time Im on a long driving trip, Ill be on the lookout for Waffle House (unless in on a diet - but one could get a la carte items and be good).
Stopped in there few morning ago. Ordered biscuits and gravy. 2. Eggs. Sausage and hashbrowns. My eggs was burned hard to cut. Hashbrowns was burned couldnt even eat them they was so hard.I never got my biscuits and gravy the cook was to worried about making the waitress mad. She would talk to him and he would ignore her. And when he did talk it was like he was talking to a dog. Very wrong. This cook needs fired.
Horrible experience on a random sturdier afternoon that started with orange juice being dumped all over the table and my phone and the server not handing us a rag to clean it up. Then our order was wrong, the service was horrible. It took us 15 minutes just to get it to go box for our half cooked half served overpriced waffle and then the server bluntly told us if the worst thing it happens today is orange juice spilling all over the place its a pretty good day and then we watch the manager refill the orange juice dispenser from a Home Depot 5 gallon bucket. No checking in to see if we needed anything, no thank you for coming. Burnt toast, cranky servers ... the list goes on and on. And I say this as a family that enjoys visiting waffle houses and all of the quirks that always come with it. Give this location a pass.
Bridgette is by far the best server! She was friendly and had a good personality. She was very attentive and accurate with everything she did. The whole time my family and i were there, Bridgette never stopped π smiling!The food was good and hot!Thanks Bridgette for all you did for us!
Worst Hygiene ever. Took forever for our order and that too with bad service. The server kept rubbing her eyes and dint even bother washing her hands while bringing our food. And when we dint tip her well because of her uncleanliness she rudely through the card on our table and went back to working. Waffle house was our go to restaurant during college and this particular location spoiled it for me.
I give it 2 stars because the cook was the most decent cook Ive had at a waffle house (I believe he was the manager). The waitress (Cherie, I believe), was terrible! She walked by us twice,and and completely ignoring us, the gentleman who sat down before us, and everyone else too. No smile, no welcome, NOTHING. Then walks in the back room holding door open talking to a co-worker. Walks past us another 2 or 3 times, cashes someone out without a smile, then takes the man before us order. Then after 10 mins of being there gives us silverware and says Ill be with you in a moment. Another five minutes before she takes our order, because she had to gossip with another co-worker. Food arrives quickly, she continues to gossip after serving us and her co-worker checked on us more than her, clears our plates and cashed us out because she was to busy gossiping. Saw her three times at our table (took our order, served our order, gave us our check).
Gave me to go biscuit and gravy. Had to go all the way back. It was so gross the gravy had turned to brown water with chunks of sausage in it. They gave me a new one however why give that to a person in the first place. Also their coffee costs more than Starbucks and its gross as well.
We came her for my oldest boy who was going thru a procedure the next day and wanted to make sure he had what he wanted before the procedure. The food was okay although the restaurant was very loud consider it was just the crew and one other customer in the store. To be honest most of the noise was the customer but the employees were just as loud. The waiter had trouble hearing our order. Then when the waiter went to tell the cooks the order they couldnt hear him.I am really surprised my order was partially right. The noise wasnt the end of the world and honestly not that big of a deal. I ordered Philly bacon sandwich and Berts chilis with cheese. The chili came out with no cheese and the sandwich had very little cheesesteak on it. My boys waffle was good and no one else had complaints about the food.When the bill came it came out the full price which was an issue considering kids eat free that night of the week. It seems like this happens every time we have that special at Waffle House. Luckily that was another one of the reasons we came to this location.
This was the slowest Waffle House I have EVER been to. Itβs June 29,2018 we got here at 12:20am now itβs 1:38am and we still donβt have our food. We donβt plan on coming back. My husband told someone how long we was waiting the guy behind the counter working turn around and told my husband that he can leave. They donβt deserve the star that Iβm giving
Went to your establishment on Mason-Montgomery Rd this morning 9-26-15 for breakfast on my way to work. Ordered a breakfast with bacon, cheese in the eggs, onions in the hash browns and raisin toast. There was no bacon in my order at all. I called Waffle House spoke with one associate then spoke with Josh who cooked my order and he remembered my order. I just wanted the bacon I paid for but Josh would like me to come in and have breakfast on him. That is why I continue to come to the Waffle House. Their customer service is excellent. Ive always loved waffle house. In college I spent most of my student loan money at one near IU Bloomington. This particular visit was my first since being back in the US after having horrible Polish service in Poland and it just tickled me to bits to get some southern hospitality at this location. A seasoned waitress and food that always tastes the same brings tremendous comfort.I always tip 30 to 40% when I go as a result.I just wish theyd offer some healthy sides as an option, maybe some local produce of the week as a surprise. It might upset regulars, but would help the place remain modern with millenials.
Service was terrible, there were 2 groups who were sitting down when mine arrived and still werent served by the time we left. Employees were rude and disrespectful. One complained about me to my face for not tipping enough for their poor quality service. A manager needs to give their employees a lecture about customers service before I think about going back.
The person in charge was so rude. Clearly did not want our service. Would not allow us 6 people to a booth when there was NO WHERE ELSE for a party of 6. She was horrible and rude. Will never return. Will not recommend. I wish there was a -5 option. I wish McDonalds was not under construction, would recommend McDonalds 10/10.
Holy from the Mason, Ohio store did an amazing job as our server, she was fast, polite, humorous, and took care of all of our needs. The day was chaotic as the Mason store was closed for renovations but the staff was very good at keeping up.and having a positive attitude and good communication
I felt that the food at the restaurant was great it was delicious but I felt that the service was below mediocre due to the fact that I was told to seat myself and when I got to the table to seat myself there were still dishes on the table and the table is not clean and to proceed forward my server while taking my order proceeded to take a call from her son School and tell me to hold while doing so the rest of the servers and restaurant employees were wonderful they made sure that we got our food they were very helpful but I was very aggravated by the fact of when our server left she told us dont worry about a tip like she had helped us the whole time when in fact other people were taking on her responsibilities thank you for those in the restaurant who actually enjoy their job
The girl who took my order was so niceI didnt get her name but i left her a 11 dollar tip on a carryout order she helped me with menu despite busy times got my order placed since its been 5 years since ive visited a waffle house she changed my mind about wafflehouse this was at fields ertel location thanks young lady whoever u was your making a difference one guest at a time
Food was not great.service ok.selections have changed.sure not healthy food.greese food,what can i say!but prices up to just under 10.00 dallars on most.way over priced.7.95 at best.only went there because nothing was open today.not ably to get in a Chinese restaurant.all full

2022-05-24We ate inside. Great food!! Very clean kitchen. We sat at the counter. But a very polite waitress and a very nice cook. They worked well together. Everything was fresh and tasty. Sometimes, you just need a great breakfast any time of day!

2021-11-07We got here at 5:50 pm on Sunday and the lights are on but the doors are locked. No employees in sight. There are two cars in the parking lot. We were going to give be this place another shot after getting awful service at this location but it was a couple of years ago. Couldnt get service tonight. π€·Nothing indicated why they were locked up or stated they closed early. Sigh. We do Waffle House way better in the south.

2022-03-03They need more employees. There were two of them there. They did their best. Food was actually really good. Waitress kept cussing, complaining, slamming things. The poor kid working with her kept trying to keep up a good atmosphere. He kept asking what can I do when he had a moment from cleaning tables and cooking. She brought us our drinks after we got food. I was afraid to get her attention to ask for them. She greeted guest with a very annoyed tone, some people turned around and left. I would still go again, because what else is open after Im done working a concert at 1 am?

2022-05-15This location should go to take out only at night if there is only one server. The server we had was awesome, and was doing the best she could with the situation, but the place was always full and she never stopped moving and a lot of potential customers were walking out due to the wait for seats and how long it took place orders. I went two weeks in a row, on the same night, at the same time, and this happened both times. Both times were Friday nights/ Saturday morning around 12:15am. Its not fair to her or the cook. The waitress couldnt even do dishes because she was so busy. Food was great as always, but there needs to be more help or the store should go to take out only at night. Im willing to wait and not stress the waitress more than she already was, but not a lot of people are like are willing to be patient.

2022-07-10The floor was disgusting. I had my service dog with me and he was sitting in gross left over crumbs. The waitress Nina tried feeding him a CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLE. He is a service dog. He has a vest with labels βService Dog. Do not interact.β Restaurant is very un educated on service dog laws. Not to mention transphobic. On top of that it took them 10 minutes to take our drink order. There was only two other tables in the restaurant. Itβs not like they were packed. I love the food but sometimes the service isnβt worth it.

2022-05-29The server is absolutely rude shes denied me service many times before late night stating either they arent taking orders or its carry out only even if theres other people dining in. The most recent time she never greeted me passed by many times never said a word to me then finally asked dine or take out. I told her dine in. She said ok I will be back to take your order Im going to go see if this group is ready. Anyone ate at a waffle house could understand taking the single customers order before the 8 people might make sense. I just left

2022-07-04Horrible service. I understand they looked busy and understaffed, but not one person that worked there even acknowledged us after sitting there for 45 min. We were sitting face to face with the waitress and not one person even said hello or noted that they would ever be with us. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. Will never return here and I recommend nobody else do either. If I could give zero stars I would.

2021-04-26Its important to point out they completely remade the store front. From what it was to now, the reboot is nicer but not bigger. Finding a seat in the weekends is not worth the trip until after 3pm and then when kings island is open then forget about it. Still its a good restaurant to get your American breakfast just check out the parking lot before you come in so that way you know if you want to stay for 30 minutes, standing until you get a seat.

[Pun Intended*]but had the strangest waffle house experience with the customers and employees. ALL the customers were rude to the employees [Customers, just please respect the employees.
