Great Service..on.point....tell you what you need..Answer questions and make sure you understand the issues..They dont try to sell you xtra parts.but let you kniw down the road whats gonna happen..Quotes on tires 3 different for CRV.let me choose..Now we will get tires for the 2013 Eclipse...Appreciate their expertise..
I have use Goodyear for over a decade. They helped me keep my vehicles on the road. My Suburban lasted 425,000 miles with their help.The front desk had a positive attitude which made my decision to bring my two newer vehicles to them.Keep up the great customer service.
My tire pressure light came on so I called Boyds Tire Service. I had never been there before but they checked my tires. They put air in my tires and I was giving kind an excellent advice. I made an appointment for a tire rotation at that time. They got me in on time, got it done quickly and were very kind and courteous. They will have my business from this point forward!
I arrived at Boyds right when they opened. I had a very low tire. They took me right in immediately. Within 30 minutes, they had me repaired and back on the road. I got a free souvenir too...the 2 inch drywall screw that was in my tire. The location is convenient and very clean, with plenty of room in the waiting area. Service this good is hard to find these days. Pretty sure Ive found my new place for future tire purchases. Thanks Boyds
Very satisfied with all aspects of my recent visit to Boyds. The work was accomplished quickly and I was informed of all services needed will take my car back when needed.My second time. Service continues to be high quality. Also on fixed budget, prices are affordable.
Most honest place I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to auto repair. I was told by a dealership I needed all new brakes. This was proven to be s complete fabrication after Boyd’s performed an inspection. You get all my business from now on! Thank you!!! There still are some businesses left with integrity and honesty!
Boyds has always treated me well. I have been a customer of theirs for the past 3 years. They perform quality work and thoroughly explain issues with me. Their quotes have been accurate and appropriate. They also get work done quickly. I really feel like they appreciate their customers. Highly recommend!
I called Boyds to simply ask them how much it would cost to get a standard tire rotation for my 2018 Ford Escape. They told me, FREE. I was in total shock when they said that, I made sure that was true, so I asked questions. I asked what they meant by FREE? As in, buy tires and get a rotation free, or like actually FREE of charge? Again, told me FREE. So as a first time costumer, I gave them my information so I could schedule a time to come in for rotation. Very quick scheduling, only backed up a week. Totally worth the wait, they were very quick service, didnt have to wait long, and very welcoming and polite. I would highly recommend Boyds and will go back again in the future for any other tire services.!
After trying for several weeks to have our truck repaired at another auto repair business only to have it sit for over 3 weeks, we picked it up and took it into Boyds in Marysville.They told us they would call with an estimate, which they did the same morning we dropped it off. We approved the work.They completed the work the very same day and we picked our truck up mid-afternoon.This is the way business should be conducted...a stark contrast from having to beg to get work done and never get a call even when promised.We will be returning to Boyds for our automotive repair needs.Thank you, Boyds for professionalism, and a job well done!
Had a retiree coupon that I had to go online to redeem. The manager walked me through the process. Then I scheduled the tires and service. I arrived and they took me right in. While waiting, the manager had several people come in with questions r problems from other installers. He answered their questions and fixed the problems - at no charge! One of the problems took 1/2 hour to fix! This place is high quality and great service. I have also purchased boat trailer tires and camper tires there.
Very helpful - we were cruising down the highway on a long family road trip and noticed a tire losing pressure. Stopped in and they went to work right away. Discovered that we had a cracked wheel so not much they could do, but they swapped out the spare tire and we were back on our way.This was my 2nd flat today - the 1st was a screw in the tire (fixed at another place). So when I got to Boyds I was worried that the two remaining tires could be at risk of going flat. They understood and inspected the tires to make sure everything looked good.After all this, the cost was negligible…in hindsight I should have left the guys a tip for all of the help!
I had a set of 4 tires put on vehicle. It was timely, fair priced. My only issue was : I have locking lugs, I told them where to find the key. After picking up vehicle, I went looking for the lug key. Ended up finding in glovebox, but upon looking at the lug key I saw how badly the person taking and putting on tires stripped out the key. Long story short , Boyd’s did replace the lug key and a new set of lug nuts matching the key. I just feel that I should mot have had to find this problem myself, and address it to get it fixed. Makes me question the integrity of the shop. Glad they did right by fixing the issue, but not happy I had to figure it out……kind of shady.
I have been using Boyds for almost 15 years . Having met a new Manager roughly every 5 years . I have liked them all. But today is a special shout out to Kerry for taking a minor issue with the family mini van and making it a minor headache to me . Thank you for staying open an extra 5 minutes when you could have told me to come back Monday . I continue to enjoy my 5 cars being serviced at Boyds . This review is for the Marysville location. The gentleman at the front desk is always quick and polite. Ive been regularly get my oil changes and tire rotations at Boyds after buying a set of tires here last year. Honestly, Ill probably never go anywhere else. This is how customer service should be! Kerry & Darryl (Service Mgr’s) provided excellent service. I had an ongoing tire issue that they were more than willing to take a look at. I’m confident that they’ve fixed the issue. The price was very fair too....thought the fix would cost more $$! Glad I found Boyd’s...!
I called Boyds yesterday after I had a flat. They didnt have my size tire when I called. However, they fid happen to get two ofy size in later, and they proactively called to let me know. I appreciated the extra effort and their price was at or below most of their competitors.The service that I received was timely and they kept me up to date. The two employees that I had interactions with were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back for other services.
We have been near Marysville for 26 years now. I have a barn with tractor and several other vehicles. Boyds has always been top notch when it came to fixing or replacing tires on anything from truck to wheelbarrow. They fix it quick and the prices are reasonable. Will always be a loyal customer.
Check engine light was on. They ran diagnostics, test drove it, assessed the codes that the diagnostic test was giving them. They found no issues, reset my check engine light and charged me $0. That would have costed me $100 at the dealership just to assess the situation! I will be returning for any other needs!
Two months ago my sister-in-laws car needed tires. I did a lot of research looked at the name brands I found Boyds to be extremely competitive. Last week I decided it was time to put tires on my car, again I did my research brand for brand and apples to apples comparison. Again I found Boyds to be extremely competitive even against Costco. I love being able to go online, pick out my tires, pick my appointment time, drop my car off and pick it up serviced ready to go. I will recommend Boyds to everyone
I have been going to Boyds for over a year now. I was referred by a family friend and have since referred others. I have got several oil changes, patched tire holes, new tires, new belts, and various other procedures. All of which have been less expensive for me than other places and dealerships. Every time I go they are so pleasant and friendly. While I wait for my car to be finished they are always interactive with myself and others waiting. When bringing my car in with a scheduled appointment, they are quick to bring it back into the shop. Even without an appointment, I have received quick service. They have never pushed any services on me, and are actually interested in saving you money and making sure everything with your car is safe. As a female in college away from home, theyve never taken advantage of my lack of car knowledge. They are very helpful and knowledgeable, and encourage me to call my parents before making any decisions. They are great! Our family is glad to have them working with my car.
Boys once again shows while there not in center of town, they are certainly the best in town. They always find ways to try to save you money in or upfront and honest about cost. And even when you look at the cost of their work there still as cheap as everybody else in this town.
I thought Boyd’s Tire was very helpful and polite as they were able to repair a slow leak in my truck tire. They fix it in a very short time, when another tire store in Marysville would not even touch it because the tire was past their 6 year limit. Boyd Tire has just gained another customer. Thanks
Boyds on Polaris always takes great care of us. Weve relied on them to inspect several used car purchases, and their assessments are accurate and fair. Their service work is also excellent, and they help you prioritize when the dollar amount estimated means you cant do everything recommended at one shot. Were glad to rely on them.
Very friendly staff. I took my car to Walmart to change my oil because it was fast. Walmart didnt put my cap on correctly And all the new oil leaked out. I took my car to Boyd’s in Marysville and they refilled my oil and put the cap on correctly. I went to pay and they wouldn’t let me. No matter what the issue is in the future I will go back to Boyd’s.
My husbands family has used Boyds for many years. When my husband and I started dating, I started using Boyds. We have had great service at their Polaris location. Mike and Matt always make sure that we are taken care of. We have had many things done, tires, transmissions, brake lines, oil changes. Never left unsatisfied. Im a car guy, and perform a fair amount of my own service. Some projects simply dont make sense to tackle at home, and some issues (and Ive had really bad luck, such as an engine locking up) require some serious input/guidance from others. Boyds Tire & Service Polaris is the only place that I trust my ever-more complicated vehicles with. For many years now, Ive trusted Mike, Matt, Don, and their staff to take good care of my cars. And during that time, Ive overheard many conversations that theyve had with other non car guy customers, and can confirm that they are good, honest folks. If you need auto service or repairs, take it to Boyds and be confident that they will treat you, and your vehicle, with the respect and care you deserve.
Have used Boyds for years and have always been impressed with their service and prompt appointments. Don and Matt have been very helpful in walking me through issues and Ive never felt they did work that was not necessary. Appreciate their hometown atmosphere and friendly personalities.
Family and I have had several trips to their shop. Fleet car, general maintenance or fixing an issue we ourselves could not fix. Usually, in the past their prices are not horrible and service is pretty timely. But, I had a thermostat replaced on my Chevy Impala and when the recipient and recommended service sheet was given to me, they made it quite clear in that I needed to replace my rear brakes. The staff (who even despite this incident are always friendly) told me 10% left on the brakes, needing immediate service. I did the brake job myself, as I am trying to save money. The brake pads were worn, but no where near needing replaced. Id say close to 50% after measurement. I confronted the front desk staff about the issue and they just ran me through circles of meaningless jabber. I am not a professional mechanic by any means, but this was total crap. Felt like I was lied to in the face. I fear for the people who do not know about automobiles.
I could not loosen the bolts that hold my license plate frame and plate on my Pilot and, therefore, could not put the new sticker on my plate. So, I took my car to the shop at lunch time and about 20 minutes later the old bolts were removed and replaced with new ones. A+++
I have brought all three of my vehicles to Boyds on E. Powell Rd for various reasons. The service has been nothing short of excellent for all vehicles. If an issue exists, it is rectified. The staff is very knowledgeable and the place is extremely clean.... even the bathroom! My vehicles will go nowhere else.
Awesome group of guys. Have had service done here before and they do a great job. Hadnt been there in a while and ended up with a flat tire and work (Nestlé) next door. Instead of making me drive it over on a flat the manager went out of his way to charge a portable tank so I could take it over to fill my tire. I will definitely be back when it comes time to need any service. Thanks again!
Very satisfied with the service here. Always helpful and courteous. The manager always takes his time to answer all my questions and to explain what service I need and when. He also takes the added time to get to know his customer beyond just the vehicle. I appreciate this!
I had transmission trouble on Sunday, and it just so happened to take place in front of Boyds. I decided because I was already in their parking lot I would leave my key in the drop and have them give me a diagnosis and estimate. I asked them to call me before working on it so I could explain the issue. My car was undriveable do to transmission problems. They called Monday morning and I explained that to them. When they called with the diagnostic results they said they found a piece of metal in my bell housing and I need a new clutch and flywheel, which is accurate. I told them I would pay them for the diagnostic but I had had the clutch done about 20k miles ago and I want the shop who installed it to look at it for me and I would come after work to have it towed. I even offered to help push it out of the shop, they told me that wasnt necessary. After work I went back to pay and get my car to have it towed. When I arrived it was already parked out back stuck in reverse and smelling like burnt clutch! They somehow manage to get my car in gear with an already damaged transmission and drive it out of the building. When I went in and told them it was stuck in gear and when I had brought it to them the car was stuck in neutral the gentleman at the counter told me they would not help me. I have no way of know no much further damage was done to my transmission as a result of their actions. The icing on the cake is when the tow truck arrived right after they closed the guys were walking out as my 60+ year old dad and I were pushing my car into position for the tow truck and none of them offered to help. Since then I got my car fixed at a reputable shop with OEM parts for $300 less than their estimate. None of this is opinion, just stating the facts.
I was NOT expecting such friendly and good people to be working here. Most tire/oil settings Ive been to employ people who obviously dont enjoy their jobs and/or dont want to be there. The staff here was incredibly professional and helpful. I was literally impressed beyond belief. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle here. Youll be in good hands.
I ordered some tires off of the Goodyear website and had them sent to this location for installation. Appointment went over very smoothly. Even though I chose “2001 Toyota Solara SLE” on the website, it sent the wrong sized tires to the store. (I constantly have problems ordering things for my car because there is a hardtop Solara, but I have the convertible one) I apologized and they said it was no problem, the warehouse is only ~10min away. No charge for them driving to exchange the tires for me, for which I am grateful!Ever since I got these all-weather tires and an alignment, my car has been driving better than ever. In the heavy rains we’ve been having, I absolutely blow by the slowpokes on the highway who can’t even go the speed limit. It feels like I’m driving a 4WD almost.I do feel like services here are on the high end price-wise, but due to the area I can understand. I am also spoiled because my dad was a mechanic for a long time, so anything “car” he does for me.What really takes it over the top is that after a nice chat with Matt, I am now addicted to Game of Thrones: Conquest. Can’t put it down. Wouldn’t have known it existed, and I love my GOT! (Fire and Blood)
Kind customer service from the gentleman at the front desk, but will NEVER go back due to crazy high pricing! I had a voucher for a (conventional) oil change, tire rotation, etc - all pretty basic services - good for up to $90. Granted, we have a newer minivan that requires full synthetic oil plus an addl quart, so that price difference - from a conventional oil change - had to be paid. That was fine, but even with the $90 voucher that we had won in a raffle, still had to pay $48!! So, this was a $138 oil change!?! I ended up paying the same as I would going to a 10-minute oil change facility, which I paid the last time! The charges seemed ridiculous, and will NEVER go back, nor recommend to anyone.
We came in for an oil change, ended up with 2 pages of items that were supposedly wrong with our car. Nothing was wrong with it when we took it in. On top of fixing what THEY messed up, they are charging us $350.00 plus they said we have other leakes and motor mount loose. How does that happen. We are not happy. How can a company take advantage of somebody like that. My fiancee is a senior citizen PLUS he is disabled. Come on. Is that how you treat potential customers??? If I had my way, they wouldnt have gotten any stars
Wow what horrible service. I got a flat tire, on 10/28/15, I brought the car here at 7:45 in the morning, and they said they had fixed it and charged me $28.84. My tire had gotten flat, 3 hours later after them fixing it. I put my spare tire on again, and brought the car back to the shop and left it there overnight. The manager, Don, he said that we can not refund the money we will fix it, few minutes later, the mechanic had come over and told us that we can not fix the tire anymore, because there was a second hole, they were too close together and they did not see it the day before. Now, they can not fix this tire, they concluded that we would have to purchase a new tire, which cost $186.18 plus tax, so the total would be $199.14. During the conversation with the manager, he was not friendly like he was the day before, because he was going to have to return my money. So I feel as if they destroyed my tire, didnt fix the problem, and tried to sell me a new tire. Horrible Service, Never will I return, nor would I recommend .
I went to their store to have a set of 4 tires installed. I chose to go there because I was told the tires I wanted were eligible for a rebate. I just got notice from the Goodyear rebate center that the tires are not eligible for the rebate so I called Boyds Goodyear (Polaris). I was told that they did not know the tires were not eligible. How in the world you dont know if the tires are eligible or not??? How can you lie to your customers just like that? If they lie about something like this, I can only imagine what else they lie about when it comes to your car and what work it needs or not. I DONT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. Be careful, their nice attitude does not make up for the lying
I trust them to take care of my fleet of family vehicles, and they know me by name. No one ever likes to hear that they need to pay big $$$ to fix something on their car, but I feel they have always been fair. In fact when I recently had a part fail (a rebuilt alternator) they researched the problem, tracing the problem back to the seller of the part, and immediately replaced it, without charging me for the labor which was nice.
Do not use coupons here. I took my car in for an oil change along with a coupon to use. 39.99 for an oil change and tire rotation, plus, a free inspection. I bring my car in, and they get me set up. 10 minutes in, they tell me that because my car requires a synthetic oil, they will have to charge me more (20 dollars to be exact). This isnt new information to me, because this has happened at other Goodyear service centers (although I was only charged 10 dollars more), so I agreed. 20 minutes later, they tell me they didnt have the oil my car needed in stock, so they not only had to send somebody out, but they had me pay for it. In all, a 40 minute oil change a and tire rotation turned into an hour and 10 minute process which ultimately led to be paying double what the coupon advertised. The service members did their job, but I would only go back to this location as a last resort.
I moved to the Marysville area about 8 years ago and went to the Goodyear store for an oil change. Tyler is such a likable guy and extremely helpful/knowledgeable that I started going there for all the service needs on all my vehicles. I have never been disappointed. After 8 years and everything from brake jobs to shocks and struts, new rims AND TIRES! I have to say, Tyler Willis and his crew make me feel like family.P.S. I bought 4 new tires yesterday and the service just made me feel the need to write a review. Try it, youll like it.

2022-06-18Boyds is fantastic. They were able to fit my flat in on a Saturday without an appointment. They also did my oil change while there so I didnt have to come back. They even noticed I had a break light out and took care of that too. I am deeply appreciative of the service and care I receive at Boyds. As a woman, I never worry that I will be taken advantage, and that peace of mind alone is worth doing business there.

2022-07-08The best service! I will never take my car anywhere else. I used to go to MAG in Dublin and they would charge me an arm and a leg. This is the second time I’ve taken my car to Boy‘s for a check engine light on and they are informative and helpful and able to let me know the reason for the light and they didn’t charge me at all. This is the most honest and friendly car service place I have ever been to! I only trust them with my car. I take my car here for oil changes and any issues I have and they have always done great work for me!

2022-04-16I am a regular there because they have very competent mechanics and fair pricing. I have been taking all my vehicles there for years. I trust them and know them. They are good people there and have really helped me out many times. They are super nice and treat me like family. I highly recommend them.

2022-07-08Had a leaky tire and this was the first place that could fit me in same day. I commute 60 miles a day so my tires being in good repair is essential. Luckily it was a simple fix and they got me in and out in an hour. I was very happy with their service.

2022-05-13I called for an appointment for a brake job, rotation and oil change. I thought all four rotors needed replaced as well as the pads. They got my car in, checked it out, found the mouse nest in air filter and told me that only the rear brakes needed replaced. Their honesty saved several hundred dollars. In and out in a few hours. The car drove fine when I took it he, but the next day, it started making a horrible noise. I brought it back in and explained the problem. They checked it out, immediately put it up on the rack, and found that the dust shield had come loose. The bolts had stripped out of the plastic retainers. A couple of new, larger bolts and I was on my way. Honesty, integrity and value. Boyds has always been top shelf service and I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

2022-06-10I had a small sprayer tire that needed to be mounted on a rim and when I got to Boyd’s the parking area was full except for one space. The bays were full and several customers were in the waiting area. I figured I’d have to wait a couple days to get the tire done. They waited on me immediately and called an hour later that I could pick my tire up. Don’t know how they do it, but they always get things done quickly and no problems. Lucky to have them in Marysville.

2022-06-08They got me in for service half an hour after I called, and finished in about 4 hours. Extremely reasonable pricing, and very honest and kind! I’ll absolutely be back any time I need tire work done.

2022-03-16I was in Marysville working when my brakes went out being from out of town and it already being mid afternoon I thought I was up the creek without a paddle. But the guys at Boyds said this was no problem had me fixed and out the door by 4. Very professional and courteous. My heros of the day
