We just had new flooring installed in our office at Waynesville Family Dentistry. Bockrath Flooring did an excellent job. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner. From ordering to install it was a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Recently we suffered a flooded basement and our nice Berber carpet was ruined. I checked Angie’s list for recommended carpet and flooring specialist. It was important for us to find a reliable contractor that would do the work for a fair price.A name that topped the list was Bockrath. I messaged Bockrath and was contacted by Doug. He sent Adam to our residence to give us a proper quote on the required project. Adam listened to our requirements and took the measurements of the space. He got back to us during that weekend with a decent quote.We went to Bockrath’s location in Far Hills (Dayton area) to check out the Carpet Showroom. We were met by Tom, who was supper nice and attentive. We told Tom what kind of carpet we were looking for and he showed us a number of samples of various quality and price. Tom also told us more about the company, their history and how they operate. The selection was very extensive, and we found a couple of carpets that we were interested in. We ended up going with the Classical Presence carpet in Daydream, which was in our price range and the closest match to our old carpet. Tom passed on the information to Adam, who sent us an updated quote. After thoughtful consideration we got back to Adam, that we would like to have Bockrath do the project.Bockrath was able to schedule us in pretty quickly for the installation, which was very important to us. We received a confirmation from Ryan with the install date and arrive time of the crew. On the install day, Rich and Alex arrived on time, as scheduled to do the work. They were very friendly and well experienced with a carpet install project such as ours (which included a carpeted stairway). They worked very hard and efficiently. Rich and Alex would contact us at different stages of the work to invite us to see the progress and answer any questions. Because of the extent of the work they had to come out on Saturday to complete the work on the stairs. I should mention that this great install team also did a super job of cleaning up any debris and the space looked great when they were done. There was no hard sales pitches at the conclusion, but they did leave informative materials on how to care for the carpet and possible accessories we might be interested in. Oh…. and our dog liked them as well.The whole process was top notch from the timeliness, professionalism, and knowledge of their craft. I do recommend that anyone planning a Carpeting of Flooring project check out Bockrath Flooring and Rugs.
Lisa at Bockrath was wonderful to work with!! I have an unusually long dining room and I don’t love oriental rugs for the style of room. So.... I ended up purchasing two large and beautiful rugs there and then had Bockrath create one rug from the two. It is beautiful!!! They did a great job! The customer service and commitment to quality at this store are superb! I have dealt with several businesses in the process of remodeling my home and this store is by far the best in customer service, selection and quality. They are far better than McSwain flooring or any of the other competition in the area. This store has a huge variety of flooring and rugs. I have looked for the right rugs for my home for 5 years since moving in and only Bockrath was able to make what we needed. Also, the owner and store manager personally came to my home to do the measurements. The installer was knowledgeable and did a good job Then the store manager called me after the installation to make sure I was satisfied! They didnt just take my money and not follow up to make sure the job was done right like McSwain had done to me. I highly recommend this business it has a great owner and staff and they do a wonderful quality job and they have a selection you wont find anywhere else!

I have shopped and made numerous purchases at Bockrath flooring since 1995. Many homes we have owned and occupied were all done by Bockrath. I also purchased a large aerial rug from them. I can not speak high enough about the business. Always a well done job and very professionally done. I have always lived at least one hour from the store but still made that drive when it was time for carpet. One of a kind for selection and unique flooring. Well worth the trip to Dayton to shop for high quality flooring..

We had Bockrath install five rooms of carpeting and 3 rooms of luxury vinyl plank. It was top notch from beginning to end. Our sales rep, Brent Severson, took the time for our million questions and was very patient in helping us select the carpet and hard floors. He actually took our needs into account and helped us choose something less expensive than we originally wanted, because it suited our needs better. Our hard floor installer, Chuck, was also great. I have owned a home for over 25 years and Chuck is the most professional contractor I have ever had in my house. He really cared about the install and went out of his way to make sure it went perfectly. I highly recommend everyone at Bockrath Flooring.
We had an excellent experience working with Bockrath Flooring! Our project involved removing a tile floor and installing a new wood floor. We received helpful advice in choosing flooring that was suitable for our house and was compatible with our personal taste.The installers went to great lengths to protect the contents of our home from the inevitable mess of removing a tile floor. The installation of the new floor was done with great care and attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Our whole experience with Bockrath was very positive. The salesman, Brent, was very knowledge and helped us narrow down the vast choices of carpet. He was friendly and did not pressure us. We carpeted two rooms and we appreciated them holding the third room of carpet several months until we were ready for it. The installers, Rich and Alex, did a superb job, vacuumed the floor before laying the carpet, and vacuumed after the carpet was in place. We love our new carpet!

We just had our area rugs delivered today and we LOVE the look. Brent helped us select the perfect rugs and they work beautifully in our new home. Bockrath has fabulous customer service. We had ordered a wool wall-to-wall carpet for our great room but once installed it did not stop shedding. Bockrath did a fabulous job of investigating the problem and determining there was a flaw in the carpet. They then installed a brand new carpet at no cost to us. We recently had solid hardwood floor installed by Bockrath and are very happy with how it turned out. Adam was a huge help with the whole process and was willing to discuss all the various options we could go with, as well as give us personal recommendations on the different products. We were also very impressed with the work Travis and Eric did uninstalling the old floor, and installing the new hardwood floors. The final product looks amazing and we couldnt be happier. Amazing work start to finish. From helping me select the right floors to estimating and scheduling the work, Brent was an incredible help. Matt did an incredible job removing the old carpet, getting the slab properly leveled and ready, then installing the new floor. Even went out of his way and helped us with a few things we were taking care of during installation (dealing with appliances). They worked diligently through the week and did a flawless job. Im incredibly happy with my new floors and would strongly recommend Bockrath to anyone that asks.
We had a room of carpet installed and a part of another rooms carpet repaired. Our technicians were Joe and Eric. What professionals! They arrived exactly when we were told they would. After a short explanation of what we needed to have done, they went right to work, starting with moving the heavy furniture. They never stopped until the job was finished. We could not have been happier. The installation was beautiful and the repair was exceptional. The put all the furniture back where it was and cleaned up after themselves. Bockrath recently installed vinyl plank floors for us and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We had the carpet replaced in most of our home by Bockrath this spring. They were not the lowest quote that we had obtained but we went with them because of the great way we were treated. They spent time going over options, ordering samples for things they didnt have, and caring about a customers needs. We hoped that professionalism carried through the actual installation and it did. Wow! Our new hardwood floors from Bockrath are beautiful!!! It all began when we stopped in to the store just to look at samples. Tom was so very helpful from answering questions to offering suggestions. We knew immediately that Bockrath would be our flooring specialists. Tom came to measure and sent Matt to assess the project ahead of time. Matt and Mike installed the hardwood and Greg installed the carpet. Talk about professional....... they were timely, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and barely stopped to eat. They took great care in cleaning up at the end of each day. We thought that our lives would be turned upside down having 1700 sq ft installed over 2 weeks, but these guys made it so easy! As crazy as it sounds, we miss them, as do our dogs who would wait by the door for the guys every morning. Nice job to all at Bockrath! Thank you.
If I could rate my Bockrath higher than a Five I would. Saw a sample from their rug studio at our favorite restaurant. Loved the design as well as the material. Using social media, I messaged my interest in the same rug giving them measurements needed. Within two hours Erin Bockrath had the cost including serging. Before I decided I asked about purchasing a rug with more of the color I was looking for. Again I had answer’s within an hour. Came into Bockrath and made final selection. Picked up the carpet within a couple of days. It was the perfect size for the space we needed and enabled our family to enjoy the room again. The industry is becoming rapidly more saturated and customers are overwhelmed with options. The customer service provided by Erin (She put Smart to Work) went above and beyond what I expected. The products they offered, cut to any size needed, at very competitive prices, can solve any solution a customer may want. The knowledge and experience of the Bockrath family showed.
I cannot express how satisfied I am with the recent installation of luxury vinyl tile in the kitchen by Bockraths. Brent took good care of us from beginning to end. He worked every details of the project and even finding ways to save money for us. I had carpet installed yesterday in 3 bedrooms by Rob and Corey who did an awesome job! They are extremely skilled at their craft. They showed up on time and where polite/professional. They where thorough in explaining their process and worked hard to achieve a beautiful result in a timely manner. From the moment I stopped in the store in a whim I was sold. Brent was absolutely wonderful and never tried to oversell me. The quality of the flooring and the customer service was outstanding.Brent came to the house to do measurements, discussed the flooring options we picked in our house and told me exactly what I needed to do to get the house ready and was so available, accommodating my rapidly changing installation needs as we were having a few projects done sequentially.Travis and the installation crew were fantastic and told us what they were going to do and then did it exactly as they described. Travis was quite accommodating of our need to have bigger furniture moved a couple times while we decided exactly where we wanted pieces to go.Half of the work was completed while we were out of town and it was so nice to get text pictures of the progress! We returned home to a completed installation of three large rooms and a foyer done to perfection. I still walk down the stairs and am thrilled with my new floors.Thanks to Bockrath, Brent and Travis! Lisa & Doug were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire 8 week long process. We met with Lisa & Doug to choose the carpet. Once the decision was made, Lisa took time out of her day to help me select paint colors that would match everything. They both checked in once a week to make sure we were happy with how the carpet was coming along. The installers did an outstanding job and finished everything according to the deadline. I needed two rugs for my recently decorated bathroom and found a very unique one online from a company other than Bockrath. I purchased a 72 long runner that looked like it would be perfect. I purchased the runner and upon receipt I took it to Jess at Bockrath. I asked her if she could make a rectangular rug that would be a finished size of 24x42 and a circular rug that would be 24x30. She said it would be no problem and I could pick them up in two weeks. I picked them up today and they are perfect. They really complete the bathroom. I couldnt be happier. Rob and Eric installed carpeting in our four bedrooms, upstairs hallway andfamily room. They did virtually everthing for us-moved and replaced furniture and disconnected and reconnected our electronics. They did what was supposed to be a two and a half day job in two days. They were exremely competent and very friendly. Since its Bockrath we expected them to be good, but their performance far exceeded our ecpectations,
We are delighted with the new carpet installed this week at our home. The process of ordering and follow up was easy and the installation went perfectly. The installers Adam and Ryan helped move the heaviest items in the space and returned things to their proper place before leaving us. Their time here was made even more wonderful by their attitude, attention to detail, and their sense of humor. Overall we had a five star experience.
Bockrath really stands by its product. We had our Home carpeted and were not satisfied with the wear in one of the rooms. Doug Bockrath made it right. It was important to him that we were satisfied. The carpeting was replaced at no additional cost The installers (Joe and Brian) left the house as they found it and did an awesome job installing. Absolutely impeccable from start to finish. Brent Severson and his associates were extremely patient and informative as we took weeks deciding which carpet we wanted. Brent was fun to work with and very knowledgeable. Once we made our decision it was a delight to learn that Brent would then be the one coming to measure. His schedule was extremely flexible to accommodate my long work hours. We scheduled the install date while he was out to measure, and when that day came again they impressed me. I can’t love bockrath carpet enough!! We were helped personally by the owner to schedule our install. He was extremely responsive! The delivery guys that came out were so good! We had leopard print carpet on the steepest stairs. They were professional and extremely talented! I wish all businesses were run like this! I’d give more stars if I could!!

From the time I walked in the door until delivery, I had marvelous AND professional customer service. Molly, the sales person, is relatively new in her position. She wrote everything up and then asked Brent to check it. She wanted to ensure that everything was perfect. She called when the material came in to verify the directionality of the pattern in the room. She also gave me an estimated date the rug would be completed.Ryan, a delivery man, called to verify when I was available for delivery.Greg and Ryan, the delivery men, took special care to ensure installation was perfect. They had to install it under a bed. They were extremely careful as they moved the furniture.Bockrath Flooring has a long history in the Dayton area. They have a terrific reputation. Their success can be attributed to quality carpeting and flooring, attention to detail and outstanding customer service. I believe in buying locally. Bockrath is an excellent example of why it pays to support local merchants.
Had Bockrath install four rooms of carpet in our condo. Everything from the initial sales visit to the install was first class and totally professional. This was our third install from Bockrath and we remain completely satisfied.
This company is a top notch organization. Top to bottom their personnel really did a great job. When I went in to the showroom to look at hardwood flooring the owner, Doug Bockrath, personally talked with us over the many different options available. We took several samples home to help decide which we liked best. Next the designer, Brent Severson, came to our house along with a team lead installer and helped nail down the remaining questions. Lastly, the lead installer Matt Youngerman and his brother Mike showed up on the install date and an outstanding job laying down our engineered hardwood flooring. We had a particularly tricky spot and Matts knowledge and expertise was fantastic. The floor looks unbelievable and Bockrath Flooring is responsible. If I could rate them 6 stars I would.
We ordered carpet for two bedrooms just before the Covid19 crisis struck. Because of concerns over the virus, we delayed installation until early this month. We could not be happier with the carpet our salesperson Tom Kenny helped us pick out or with the installation. The installers were very professional, efficient and skilled, and they took all available safety precautions, including wearing masks, keeping a social distance, and cleaning up before leaving. The carpet looks great and we expect to enjoy it for years to come.

Robert and Corey did the carpet on or stairs to our basement they had to measure each step because they were all different. It’s perfect. Besides that I love the carpet. Two other young men put down wood looking vinyl planking in the entire basement and half bath and they were wonderful also. It all looks wonderful. We had over an inch of water in our basement in March. We are finally finishing everything.
Great experience. Once I found this vendor and had such pleasant interaction with the owner (Doug), things progressed with a quick floor measuring, some guidance, generous loaner samples, and color coordination help from Brent (sales). I took advantage of their Synchrony 2 year payoff promotion. Accepted a quote for my updated choice of material, picked installation dates, and then lucked into an earlier time slot. My installation went without a hitch. What could have taken 2 weeks took 6 days, and its a job well done! My condo is completely luxurious with the new flooring.
We put in a spiral stairs, so I had Bockrath cut our rug shorter, so I didnt need to buy a new one. It looks great, and it was done within a week. I am very happy and saved a lot of money!!

Im very pleased with my carpet purchase from Bockrath. Their showroom was huge and the staff was fantastic. I like being able to see all the carpets samples in person, not just on the internet. We just had Bockrath install hardwood flooring throughout most of our home and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the beginning when we met with Adam to go through the flooring options through the installment phase working with Matt and Brian everything was A+. They had to remove some wood flooring and carpeting before they could begin and Matt and Brian took great care in making sure we were informed on what they were doing each step of the way. Before they left each night they made sure everything was cleaned up and the furniture was moved out of the way so we could still function during the times they were not here. They always arrived on time and worked full days to complete the job on time. It took about ten days from start to finish and even though this type of job will definitely cause some disruption with your normal daily routine we definitely do this all over again because the results were amazing. Again I would highly recommend Bockrath for your flooring needs. They will work with you to give you the best possible flooring that will stay within your budget. Hopefully you’ll be able to work with Adam, Matt and Brian, you will not be disappointed.
Bought beautiful wood floors. Brothers Mart and Mike did an incredible job installing the matching wood vent. They were professional, told me everything they were doing and ensured the area was cleaned up before they left. So important you get quality installers and these guys were the best!!

From looking to buying to Ryan and Adam who delivered the rug and placed it where it should go and removed all packaging our experience was great. Just completed a huge flooring project by Bockrath. Had over 1400 ft² of engineered hardwood and 100 ft² of tile installed in our home. And before they could install it, they had to chip out over 600 ft² of existing tile and remove about 800 ft² of carpet.Before finding Bockrath, we spoke to numerous flooring retailers. We wanted someone to come out to our home and make recommendations. Then we wanted to talk to the actual would-be installers as to how they would address the causes of the cracks in the existing tile. BOCKRATH WAS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT DID THIS!Brent, our salesman, visited our home and made excellent recommendations. We liked the flooring he recommended, and now that its in, WE LOVE IT. John, their tile guy did a beautiful job on a bathroom and utility room. Travis, the wood guy, and his helper Josh did fantastic work on the hardwood. Most impressive were the efforts that Travis and Josh went through to keep dust to a minimum as they chipped out over 500 ft² of tile [using plastic barriers and a huge fan, they turned their work areas into wind tunnels that literally swept the majority of the dust outside]. The finishing touch on all the flooring was the shoe molding installed by Dave [some 300 linear feet around numerous doors, corners and curves, all stained to match existing woodwork].All this work was started on time and finished on time and as promised. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOCKRATH!
We have had several carpet projects with Bochrath over the years. Our latest was our Oakwood Senior High Office and Engineering lab. From start to finish the service is exceptional. Brent Severson educated us in the many differences in finishes and quality of hardwood flooring. His attention to detail was great, he personally measured the area even though we had blue prints of the space. Just to be sure we were covered.Then the installation team was EXCEPTIONAL. Wonderful experience! Very difficult to get a Reno done in general but even worse in pandemic! My wife and I had the carpet replaced in our home with tigerwood flooring when we moved to Ohio in 2012. Two of the bedrooms remained carpeted. We recently decided to change the carpet in those two bedrooms to tigerwood as well. I asked Doug for help to see if the matching tigerwood flooring still existed. Doug was not only able to secure the tigerwood flooring, but the matching T-molding as well! He got the flooring shipped to his place of business, and then had it delivered to our home. The whole experience was pleasant, and the customer service was outstanding.

2022-03-30I highly recommend Bockrath. We had three rooms of carpet installed, and the entire process was wonderful. Dave was super helpful in the showroom and helped us find the right carpet for our needs. Rich and Alex did a fantastic job installing. The carpet looks amazing! The guys were really careful moving furniture, friendly and left the house better than they found it. We will definitely be buying from Bockrath again!

Our salesperson, Lisa, made numerous trips to our house to make sure the carpet and tile colors were a perfect fit for our house, and she was in constant communication with us throughout the installation as well. She truly cared deeply about our satisfaction. The installers of both the tile and the carpet were wonderful as well! They put great pride in their work. They were professional in every sense of the word, and genuinely pleasant people to be around. Their work was truly high-grade, and they treated the job as if they were working on their own house. 2022-04-26This is the only place Ill get carpeting from now on! First, the service was great all the way around. Lisa was SO very helpful with carpet color selection and durability whether I was picking out rugs or wall-to-wall carpeting. In fact, the entire staff was welcoming and helpful no matter when I went into the store. Also, the quality of the installation was far superior to my previous experiences with other stores. The team really knew what they were doing and it showed in the final product. To top it off, Bockrath will follow-up if there are any issues at all and make it right, thats why Ill continue to shop here in the future.

2021-11-24We are thrilled with Bockrath. They carpeted several rooms in our home years ago and did excellent work, so of course we called them again when it was time to get new carpeting. Rob and Eric came this week and did an exceptional job installing our beautiful new carpet. You can tell these guys are pros. 2022-05-26We wanted to change carpets at our House and were nervous how to move around heavy furniture like Sofas, hutch, beds, etc. We contacted Bockrath as recommended by Vicki Walker of Cabinet Creations.We talked to Bockrath and found that they have a team of dedicated employees working with them for 10-15 years unlike Lowes/ Home depot who sell it cheaper but send contractors.Our experience with this dedicated team of employees was excellent. The job was done with a smile and friendly atmosphere. Carpet quality and laying work exceeded our expectations.If you want quality in flooring, Bockrath is the place to go.

2022-04-30Just finished the last of three huge projects utilizing Bockrath Flooring in a portion of each and I couldn’t be more positive! I purchased all my tile for a complete bathroom remodel through them; replaced my bedroom carpet with an outstanding Karastan carpet and, added a wool based Oriental style runner to my cherry staircase leading to my family room on the lower level.Bockrath offered the tile that was a superior style and quality than what I could find elsewhere. Pricing was competitive and my contractor who laid the tile was impressed with the quality, delivery and communication from Bockrath.Bockrath’s technicians laid the carpet and runner and the timing, quality and overall professionalism of the team was impressive!The overall scope of the projects was fairly large from my perspective and I ended up working with about four or five of their sales professionals along with management and I was very happy with the upbeat, “can do” attitudes of their staff. They communicated exceptionally well and were able to fill in seamlessly for one another! I’ve also purchased several large area Oriental rugs over the past couple of years and I’ve found that their knowledge, pricing and scope of offerings have been superior to other shops I’ve explored.Truly happy with working with these folks and I’m sure I will again as other “projects” arise!Michael

2022-06-02We had a major plumbing issue and as a result needed new flooring for one level of our house. We had trouble finding a reliable source for flooring and installation until we went to Bockrath. We worked with Adam S. and he was extremely knowledgeable and responsive, and the installation crew were professional and friendly.There were some hiccups along the way but Adam and the crew were helpful at each step and stood behind their work, which feels harder and harder to find these days.We will be using Bockrath and working with Adam S. when we need flooring again in the future.
