The sales associates were very helpful and could tell you a lot about the merchandise and anything they didnt know they will find out. The price points were great. And you also have some absolutely beautiful furniture. This is the only place that I come to purchase furniture.
Where to begin... Bought a bedroom set in September of 2021. The purchase process was great (note all the five star reviews) - buying the set was a great experience, and Im glad I waited to write this review as it has since been a nightmare. We were told the set would be delivered in November. That got pushed back until February - no big deal, supply chain issues are real. The furniture finally gets delivered, and they managed to damage every piece of the set except the nightstands. They ask if I want replacements to which I said no, at this point I had waited almost six months and dont want to wait longer. I had to argue back and forth with them to get them to accept a return and refund the delivery fee, and even then they wouldnt take back the nightstands (so now I have two random nightstands that dont match anything). I have now tried multiple times to schedule the pick up over the last two months and I keep getting told they dont have availability on the schedule to pick up the damaged furniture. They are holding onto my money until they receive the return, but cannot tell me how to schedule the return other than try back next week over and over. I think they are hoping that I give up and just keep the damaged furniture. Customer service is a joke, I can only get ahold of people via live chat on their site. Im not even sure what to do at this point. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Placed an order using Acima (Rent to Own). My projected total didnt match their quote; I had to ask them what their quote was. White-glove service was added without my original consent; I decided I wanted it anyway. I asked the Customer Service Rep to hold twice because I had to find replacements for lamps that were out of stock. On the 2nd hold (mute), I heard him ask what is taking solong? But when I came back on the line, he was helpful and cordial. Overall, not a bad experience. However, more needs to be disclosed, need to ask customer what they like, and be patient since the customer is buying the furniture.
Great service, very patient, and Im really happy with the purchase. I really feel like it was the best bang for my buck so to speak. Manager and Customer Service Specialist was very attentive and still gave us the space we needed to make the right decision. I would definitely return for future business.
Very friendly and informative. Great experience. I didn’t feel pressured at all and the facility was fantastic. Jason was a big help and I recommend coming to see him. Here is to hoping they delivery reflects the in store experience. Highly recommend at least giving these folks a chance.
We ordered a bed a few months ago and they came Saturday to deliver it and after they took our frame and box springs they told us that they were only delivering the platform! When I called they said they will deliver the mattresses by June 22! Thats three weeks away. They refuse to give us any kind of reasonable compensation. Do not use this store or this company!
Kyler was excellent assisting us with our purchase. He was considerate and knowledgeable about the items we looked at and the items we eventually bought. The staff was personable and professional during our visit, we will definitely be back for our furniture needs in the future.
Kyler was right at the door when I came in. Showed me everything I wanted to see, not at all pushy, answered every question I asked. And the inventory they have is incredible! Everything is gorgeous, huge selection. And the prices are more than worth the drive here. Why waste your time anywhere else?
Let me first say, office Jen, is fantastic! I wont go into a bunch of crazy complex detail. I will say that I am not so certain the Guardian Warranty is what its supposed to be. Ive gotten mixed information from the Bobs Store itself, the customer service of Bobs by phone, as well as the limited assistance from Guardian Warranty. The middle section of our three section reclining couch, is now stuck in the recline position. The motor is not working. I have filed a claim with Guardian only to find out that the Guardian Warranty is for accidents only, not manufacturing issues. Given that information my piece of furniture is outside the manufacturer warranty. I learned this by calling the actual store even though I was encouraged not to buy Bobs phone customer service. I spoke to a very nice young lady at the actual store who transferred me again to some leg of Bobs customer service. The end result, is that I will pay $85.99 for a service technician to come out look at the problem, diagnose the problem, and fix the problem...through Bobs. Within the next week, I plan to physically go to the store to have a discussion with someone at the store about this warranty that I purchased. I say all of that to say this. So far Bobs has offered a solution which I have accepted. Though Ive lost two hours of my life on the phone that Ill never get back, it was productive. Again, thank you, Office Jen, for your support, problem-solving skills, kindness and most of all for reminding me that good customer service is not lost. You get 5 stars. The 4 star reflects the companys poor choice in warranty providers.
Barry was the salesman who greeted us. Barry knows his customers. After guiding us to the bedding furniture he stepped away and allowed us to browse and sample. At one point we must have looked perplexed because Barry reappeared to ask if we had questions. He had all the answers and then slipped away when we were ready to look some more. I didnt know much about Bobs Furniture before my visit but after my recent visit, I will go there as my first choice the next time I need furniture.
Went in to look at mattresses, they dont have much of a selection. I was told they dont have any kind of financing, because of their low prices. What kind of furniture store survives in these times without financing? Anyway, didnt care much for what they had. Ended up going next door to mattress innovations and found the most comfortable mattress for a great price!
When preparing to move across the country to the Dayton area, we went to Bob’s to look for furniture to place in our new house. Kyler helped us out and was super knowledgeable about the inventory and identified pieces of furniture we were interested in. After we completed our move, we returned to the store where Barry helped us purchase the items we identified when we met with Kyler. The manager and sales team were professional and very friendly. 10/10 would return again.
This was my second major purchase at Bobs and I cant say enough good things about the in-store customer service, the amazing selection of beautiful furniture and the knowlegeable sales team. I would highly recommend Bobs over any other comparable furnitute store. They are hard beat in quality, selection and price!!!!
The sales personnel was not pushy and let us look around. When we were ready, we had an awesome sales rep who did everything she could to help locate a piece within the criteria we needed.. 2 times over! We found a cabinet that was on BO because of Covid-19 and our rep, Jennifer, said shed look out to see if they could get it to us sooner. She called a few days later to let us know we could take the floor model if we wanted it and they let us thoroughly inspect it before deciding to take it. The prices seem good compared to what you get! We will definitely go back for our dining room set.
Bought the Malibu bedroom set for 3k. Took 3 deliveries, once the wrong dresser was brought, second time the gentlemans dresser was damaged, and on the 3rd time a foot broke off one of the dressers and was screwed back on but still was wobble. The reason for the one star review is the quality of the finish. Very thin coats and scrapes way to easy. Worst piece of furniture Ive bought and for the price its an absolute waste. Spend more and go elsewhere.
We ordered a 5 piece sectional that was delivered in February 2022, its April 12th there has been five exchanges due to damaged or dirty furniture and the issues has not been rectified!! Today a company called SAW came out today to replace a dust cover on the Chaise that was ripped on delivery, I was given two choices either exchange or replace cover (fourth exchange 4/2/22) Just replace dust cover since that was the only issue with this Chaise. SAW reap came out at 1:30pm today, looks at it and says Oh they (Big Bobs) said it was material that needed replaced they didnt say it was the Dust Cover. I told him (SAW reap)Third party that was here the fourth time took pictures and called Customer Service before he left so I dont understand why you didnt get the same info Long story short were left with furniture we cant use (No legs on to pieces delivery guys didnt have tools to put legs on) and we have to wait I dont know how long before they come back out to replace dust cover if and when he comes back that will be the fifth visit. If it was not for the long wait at other furniture store the second time would have been the last ... this is my first and last time with this company.
DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE!Do not go to this store. They have failed to deliver on many fronts. My experience has been that they are not trustworthy.My experience with Bobs Discount Furniture began extremely well. The floor staff was helpful and great.When the delivery of the furniture is where the failure began.1) Initially, the first delivery of the furniture was broken, and they had to reschedule after unpacking the bedroom set.2) The second delivery also had a broken piece of furniture, but the delivery team tried to convince my wife that they had fixed the furniture piece, but when she tested it, the drawer slide was still broken. They had to take it back and replace it with a 3rd visit.3) During the 2nd delivery, the team delivered and put together our bed. We did not realize until after the Bobs delivery team had left, but they had moved a lamp on our nightstand to cover up three punctures that they made in the wall. If they had taken responsibility I would have been frustrated, but would have understood. They hid the damage.4) When making a claim for the damage on January 9th, 2021, I was told on the phone and via email to expect a follow-up call from a team member because this was a serious matter. I have not heard from them and today is January 21, 2021.5) I just got off the call from the support center number I was asked to call, and I was told I would receive an email sometime tomorrow and that there was not anyone able to talk with to resolve my issue. The answer was that they were still investigating the issue, but had not asked for photos, which I have, or a written statement which I would give.6) We ordered a bunk bed and it was 3 months out on delivery - to arrive in February. It is now provisionally coming in late March and they have not committed to a timeframe. We may still have to wait until April (4-5 months from purchase)This is my first bad review, but I want to warn that these folks do not have a system for resolving issues that you can trust in.Buyers beware!
I went here a couple of weeks ago looking for a recliner. Jen and Kyler were amazing! I told Jen I needed a recliner soon to sleep in after my surgery and she was so nice and really cared a lot to try and help me even though a had a low budget. Unfortunately we werent able to find one but I left with such a great impression that I will gladly come back here next time I need something for the house!
I ordered and got my table immediately, but my bedroom set was a completely different story. I waited for my order from May 2021 until January 2022, and never received my furniture. The customer service guy cancelled my order without asking me and Bobs is in the process of refunding my money. Someone sent an email saying that my order was completed and ready for delivery, when that was not true. This was just a bad experience and I am so upset that I never got my bedroom set that I had my heart set on. It was the diva bedroom set with a mirrored vanity makeup table. Kyle was very helpful in refunding my money, but the customer service guy was irresponsible by cancelling my order without my consent. He just knew that I wanted to speak with management because I was curious about what the procedure was if I decided to cancel my order. He would not let me speak to management and he cancelled my order on his own and told the store that I requested to be cancelled when I did not. Smh ..if they dont have what you want in stock, dont make the purchase.
It seems from all the reviews you have had months to understand the supply chain and give more accurate dates. Yet here we are.We purchased a sectional, to have the delivery date pushed back twice. Once it was delivered, my husband realized they delivered a wrong piece that would not fit with our configuration. We have waited several months for the piece to be in stock with a promise date of December 1st. We waited a week to call (today), to get oh yeah, its now pushed back to May. We tried to get a refund for that piece that we DIDNT BUY BECAUSE WE HAVENT RECEIVED IT, and instead we could only get a store credit. Why am I paying for something I never got. Awesome I can go buy more things I guess but we werent planning on buying anything else major right now. Oh and we have to use it in the next 30 days.Now I get to try and figure out what furniture I wasnt planning on replacing to get rid of because I dont want to lose out on the only solution they could possibly offer us.
Bobs salesman Chris was a pleasure to work with in selecting the furniture that best fit our unique needs. He was patient and helpful without being pushy, and the store was spacious and welcoming compared with other furniture stores that I wont specifically call out by name. Customers with physical handicaps will find shopping to be a pleasure.
Ordered furniture paid for in November They said it would be here by January Was not contacted the whole time. The week of pickup contacted the store They said yes everything was still good to go that it would be here on the original day take off of work on that day its been a lot of time trying to contact the store could not get through to no one so drove out there get to the store they said that the furniture was discontinued. At no time was I contacted and then when I contacted them they completely lied.
Purchased a dinning room set. They are impossible to reach. We ordered an item and I had a few questions. I tried communicating with the store through email but it came back as undeliverable even though I was responding to an email sent from the Dayton store. I tried using their text an agent service. Never got a response. I called customer service and was given the incorrect information. I tried calling the store. The phone rings and rings and rings. After 30 minutes, I gave up. Dont bother with these people. Save yourself the headache.
Absolutely awful. Canceled our order before it got delivered. Best decision we made. I do not trust anything they told us, I do not trust that they will honor the protection plan, I do not trust the “quality” of the furniture.Do your homework, don’t just read these reviews. This place will disappoint you.
Overall, it was a great experience! My wife and I ended up purchasing a section and a chair that will fit well in our living room. We were helped by an excellent sales rep named Jen and she helped answer any questions we had. She was not pushy and she was very knowledgeable of the pricing and payment plans for the furniture. Everything was super easy and the payment and delivery processes were laid out very clearly (3-day delivery for our sectional couch). We will definitely be purchasing from here in the future!
We had a great experience at Bobs Discount Furniture! When we walked in we were greeted by Jennifer and she showed us to the mattresses and told us we could try them out and let her know when we found one, which was our preference! Super nice atmosphere, didn’t feel any pressure at all and they answered all of our questions. The whole process was super easy and smooth and the prices are great! They also have a great return policy if you’re not in love with your mattress after 30 days!
I wasn’t 100% on what I wanted. Jen helped me with everything. I spent what I anticipated for a new couch, rug, dining room table with chairs, and one accessory piece. The quality here is better than you may expect.Note: expect that not everything you want is immediately available. If you want something, you may have to wait, which is what I’m doing for all furniture I ordered. I am excited to receive everything soon.
This Bob’s goes above and beyond. The clerk, Sydney, that helped us was so honest and helpful. We are so grateful for the service we received. One of our furniture items, a sofa we really loved had a long or TBD delivery date. As soon as it was updated, Sydney scheduled it for ASAP and contacted us. That’s quality service!The manager we worked with, Greg, was also incredibly helpful and welcoming.We will definitely be back with any future furniture needs.
Overall I am please with my few purchases from Bobs in Dayton. I have purchased our kitchen table, sleeper sofa and living room sectional from them. My only complaint is on the sectional. The build quality was pretty low, attaching the legs to the bottom of couch was tough, several screws snapped. Also, the clips that attached each section were installed out of line by the manufacture, so I had to remover several of them and re align them myself. Not a huge deal, the couch looks great, but it took me an hours to fix some of the build quality issues.
Earl was amazing here! We didn’t feel overwhelmed or followed like some other places can be. He gave us our space to decide and didn’t push for us to buy anything. We unrealistically needed something within a week and he found something perfect for us! Highly recommend!
Buyer Beware!!!!Avoid store at all cost.My sister was put through the ringer when the store screwed up the order. They received half of there order then an employee put in their system that they received the complete order. When my sister called customer service to find out what happened they said that it was the stores fault but unfortunately there system has to put the order at the end of the line and they will not receive the complete order until 3 months from when they called customer service. She then asked to speak to a manager and they said there is no one above them and there is nothing that they can do.Since there was nothing that customer service could do and try to at least attempt to fix something that was the stores fault. I took my sister to the store to cancel the order returned the items and went to Ashley homestore were she found the furniture she was looking for.The sad part of this story is that there was so many missed opportunities to make things right. I guess they really want us to spread the word to shop elsewhere. Because your not going to have a good experience.
I was in the market for a couch, and found a cute one here! Earl was who helped me, and he is a hysterical. For anyone looking for an easy furniture shopping experience, this is your place! Ive only been in the one time, but definitely plan on coming back! They have a wide variety of styles and prices, but keep in mind COVID may have backed up the delivery date :) Cheers!
The Earl at the Miamisburg location was extremely helpful and informative. He was patient and assisted me with the items I was looking for. There was no pressure to buy anything but he was very knowledgeable in the items which made it easy for me to make my selection. I would recommend Bobs Discount Furniture to family & friends!
Pros: I was warmly greeted by Chris who was very informative and allowed me to browse without hovering or popping up every few minutes. The prices are surprisingly reasonable!Cons: I ended up canceling my order. I just cant get accustomed to waiting 3 months or more for furniture. I ordered and received new furniture elsewhere. It only took 2 days.
This store will disappoint you more than you could ever imagine! We ordered an entire living room set in July 2020 asked for all to be delivered same day and were told it would be beginning of Nov and we accepted! We did not receive our furniture until beginning of December and in multiple deliveries for which we were charged a total of $360 for. Less than a month after receiving the furniture we realized one of the recliners was broken and couldn’t recline so we called them. It took weeks for someone to come out and inspect the furniture then order the part. It was then two months before we received the part and it was repaired. We noticed the extra deliveries fees in Feb 2021 and have been fighting to get our money back since! They have issued “a check” multiple times once to the wrong address, once to the wrong person, once back to the store in a credit and now we are waiting again. When my husband spoke to the “manager” last we never received a call back so he called today and was told the manager wasn’t in the day he called and someone was accessing the managers phone and computer???? They do not care! They will not return your calls and if you call them it takes multiple calls and a lot of patience to even speak to a person! Do NOT waste your time or money!
Bob’s is a very nice and clean place. We had Chris the first day when I started looking and he was great! Answered all questions and gave us space to look around while remaining available. We went back the next week and asked for him directly to buy due to being very impressed with him the first day. All the workers were very friendly and a great experience buying my first piece of furniture!
I had a great experience buying furniture here for my first apartment. Chris was very helpful with showing me the wide variety of options Bob’s had to offer. Not only did I feel like my items (a couch and tv stand) were high quality, but I also feel that I got them for a great price.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I never write reviews but Ive also never been so insulted as a customer. Their customer service is inconsiderate, obstinate, and completely unwilling to help. I ordered a chair and after a month it was finally available for pickup (no big deal, I know companies are behind on this), but when I get it its defective and it takes them over a month to get a repair man to come check it out. He proceeds to tell me I need a new part and hed have it ordered. Weeks go by and I finally call and the order was never made. More weeks go by and I can AGAIN. This time they tell me the cant get the part and are just going to replace it. Another month and a half goes by and they finally deliver the new one. ITS WORSE THAN THE ORIGINAL, but the delivery company said they cant take it back because I have to make that order. Well I make that order for a full refund, and they tell me I have to bring it back myself since the original was pickup. I explained they history and how its their responsibility to pick it up and the agreed (remember that) to pick it up on a scheduled date. That date came and left, and I called again. Now, after talking with employees that apparently cant talk to each other on the phone (seriously everything was done by instant messenger on a computer), taking forever, they finally get me to a supervisor who refuses to honor the promise they made to pick it up. Now I, bad back and all, most try and find a way to return it because oh yeah, I dont have a car to fit it in because the person I borrowed for the original pick up moved. AWFUL company who doesnt care about their customers.
Stepping into Bobs Discount Furniture was a pleasant surprise. Nothing about this placed screamed discount except for the prices. It truly seemed as if I had walked into a high end store. Clean, and spacious with the displays set up with precision. Jason greeted us as we walked in and from that point our wonderful experience began. Jason was kind, courteous, knowledgeable and an all around breath of fresh air, compared to other furniture stored we visited prior. I would recommend Bobs Discount Furniture to any and every one.
We had a great experience at Bobs. We worked with Chris and he answered all our questions. Everyone was very nice and eager to help as soon as you walked in. Chris showed us the type of cushioning for the couch we were interested in and explained the various layouts you could choose from. He was very helpful. We had a great experience and are very eager to recieve our new couch. Delivery is not scheduled until mid April. However after looking at various stores we found this was sooner than most.
We were shopping for a new matress to match our new king suite. Our salesman Barry was amazing. He was not pushy, did not hover but was there immediately for any questions and had the answers to all questions. We will for sure be back at this store and will without a doubt have Barry help us.
I ordered my table in December. I was told it wouldn’t be available until beginning of February which I was fine as I hadn’t had a real table in years. It ended up being pushed back til the beginning of March. Again I was still fine with this. Well my table was delivered this morning bright and early. I did bobs white glove delivery which included delivery to the room of my choice, assembly, and trash clean up. My delivery and assembly team was Steve and Derrick. They were amazing! Probably in and out in 30 minutes. Definitely knew what they were doing! My 5 year old of course wanted to be all up in their business and they were very nice to him. Honk the horn on the truck for him as they left! Very happy overall! Thank you!
We recently ordered a sectional from bobs and the sales people were great! They weren’t pushy at all and let you do your own thing but was of course helpful if needed. Our sales guy made a small mistake and we were able to call and fix it immediately. Can’t wait for our couch to arrive!
At the store, they were helpful without being pushy and we found exactly what we were looking for.That being said, it then took 9 MONTHS to get the furniture (a sectional couch) after we were told 30 days. When it was delivered, they didnt put it together correctly and delivered the wrong pieces. It took another 2 weeks to get the correct pieces and they didnt put them together correctly either. This is after paying extra for them to put it together. We had a repair person sent out for another issue with the recliner but he couldnt fix it. He told us it would be 2 weeks for the part and left without putting the pieces back together. When I called, they said, no- it would be about 6 weeks to get the part. Then they want to compensate you with $100 STORE CREDIT! I never want to shop their again let alone its only $100 for a $3000 purchase. We are still waiting for this to be fixed.I see that every low score on here also gets the same comment from the company. Ive already talked to them and gotten nowhere!
Please save yourself the stress and shop somewhere else. Let’s say you do decide to be brave and buy some thing from this horrible company that has zero customer service. You will find yourself every month calling trying to find out where your order is. Expect to spend at least 25 to 40 minutes on the phone to even reach a human. Also expect every time you call that your order will be pushed out 1 to 4 months. You will never get an update monthly saying that your order is pushed. So you will probably find yourself annoyed and want to go into the store to talk to management. Trust me that’s a joke as well. After waiting what seemed like 25 minutes the last time I went to check on my order I finally was approached by a manager who told me it was his day off but was reluctantly going to help me. After telling me that once again my order would be pushed two more months he told me I could go find another mattress in the store that was either less expensive or more expensive but obviously I would have to pay the difference. Long story short: please please please stay away from here. The really good pricing is not worth your sanity.
Best experience furniture shopping. It all started with a private appointment. We were the only customers in the whole shop, which was quite special. The store was extremely clean and sanitary, during the hour that we spent shopping around I saw three employees regularly sweeping, sanitizing and cleaning both the furniture and equipment. Each of the employees wore a mask and kindly asked us to use the hand sanitizer that was provided by them. This is very important especially since we are in the midst of the corona virus. We were warmly greeted immediately upon our arrival and any questions we had were promptly answered. We were able to freely go around the store looking at different styles of furniture until we found the perfect fit for us. The employers acted as guides, wanting to help make us feel comfortable and offered practical advice, instead of just trying to make a sale. It was a pressure free environment that made the whole experience that much better. When it came to actually purchasing the furniture we sat down and went over all the options as well as thoroughly explaining what exactly it was that we were paying for. We were given several opportunities to look at exactly what was being entered on their tablets to make sure all the information was correct before, during and after the sale was finalized. This will be the place the furniture place that will fulfill our furniture needs from this time forward.
We were greeted at the door, shown how there placards work and left to browse. I greatly appreciated them keeping their distance (not covid related, I just like to shop alone) until we were ready to ask questions. The woman who helped us was awesome and quick with current info about the furniture, prices, warranty, etc. She was awesome.
Sydney was amazing at helping me find my bedroom and living room set. The store was nice and clean and staff was helpful and welcoming. I did also appreciate how they did temp checks when you walked in and everyone wore a mask. Hoping my stuff gets delivered before the offered date but if not, I am okay with that. Love Bobs so far! Waiting to see how smooth the delivery process is.
Do not buy furniture from Bobs Discount Furniture unless:- you are able to change your schedule at a moments notice for furniture delivery.- you understand the showroom store has no standing and influence with the corporate offices.- you want to spend large amounts of time on the phone trying schedule deliveries only to have those scheduled times mysteriously changed to ridiculously outlandish times.- you understand their convenience is more important than yours.- you are willing to wait almost two months to have furniture delivered to you.- you are willing to go pick up the furniture at the store because they cant figure out how to schedule a delivery.- is the worst run furniture retailer in the eastern United States.
We worked with Jen and from start to finish she made the experience incredibly easy and entirely painless! We were able to furnish our entire living and dining room in under 30 minutes. I would absolutely recommend this store and it’s friendly staff any time you need furniture or decor.
Horrible. Stay as far away as possible. Ive made two purchases at this store and havent been satisfied with either one. The most recent purchase has to be the worst customer experience Ive ever had. I ordered a daybed for my four year old ($800) only for it to arrive incomplete and missing hardware for assembly. No initiative from the store at all. When I called, they were under the impression that my order was complete despite not receiving half of it at delivery. Then I was told the pieces that werent delivered werent available anymore. I finally worked out a return/exchange for a different bed and should have received a $300 credit. That was two weeks ago and still no credit.
The in store experience was fine. Friendly, easy to work with and upfront about delivery being pushed out until March....we ordered 12/10/20. No problem, our renovation wouldnt be finished until March anyway. Then the delay emails started. Furniture not available until April....then May....then June....then July...most recently August. When I went in to the store and questioned about an accurate delivery date I was told that was the best they could give me. I asked them what they would tell me if I bought the furniture today as a delivery date. They informed me they would tell me August. So basically they would lie to me or any other customers knowing full well they are backlogged AT LEAST nine months. I keep hearing COVID COVID COVID...I call BS. The world may not be open 100% but it is opening. I work in an industry that relies heavily on semiconductor chips and guess what. Were delivering product at no longer than a month from order date. Stop making excuses and deliver your product.
Love the mattress did not like the delivery service. They were here no longer than 2 minute threw the mattress on the bed. The delivery driver then said dont use it for 2 hours and left. The bed was still wrapped in plastic, and delivery driver didnt even look at the mattress to make sure it was good. Pretty much left me to do everything. Save your money, and dont bother doing white glove delivery. Its a way to get more money from you. Im very disappointed.
Customer service inside store is fantastic! We worked with several people all who had amazing personalities! (I can’t remember her name!!!!) The delivery was a little different.... the first one they damaged an item by being careless and fast by bumping into it. Looking closer at it later we noticed a hole! After calling in the damage, a frustrating call nonetheless, they FINALLY agreed to replace it instead of patch it. Thankfully the second delivery was flawless and Steve and Derrick came to the rescue! Thanks guys! Because of you and the in-store service I’m giving a 5 star.
We are movIng into a brand new space and needed new furniture to match. We literally went to every single furniture store in the area and came back to Bob’s for the customer service, quality, and price! Chris Shira helped us and was absolutely amazing. He wasn’t pushy. He gave us space and was knowledgeable. He took what we said to heart and gave us excellent recommendations. We will absolutely be back and ask for Chris because i know he will point us in the right direction. If you are looking for furniture - head to Bob’s and be sure to ask for Chris- you won’t be disappointed!!!
Dates for delivery kept changing. I canceled the order 12/15/2020. As of 1/20/2010 we still have not received our deposit. They claimed they could not refund back to our bank card due to it being over a $100.00. I had to call the solution center. Still had to wait. STAY AWAY. better option is Cincinnati Cabnet and Furniture outlet. Had better service and not felt ripped offUPDATE: As of 02/03/2021 still not received the check they claimed was sent out. Absolutely stay away from this company
I went in to look around for furniture. It was pretty busy, but I found a sales representative. He did his job. My problem was with the financing department. She was condescending, and clearly didnt care how she came across to her potential customers. I left after approximately 5 minutes of listening to her spiel to put it nicely. I already purchased my furniture elsewhere. Paid. In. Full. Too bad .
Fantastic selection, good quality, great prices, and service has to be the best in the area. Barry was our sales person, and I could not have asked for any better customer service. We bought a beautiful recliner, once we made it through their wide selection and made our choice. Highly recommend Bob’s, especially the store in the Dayton area near West Carrollton Oh. Where the old Toy’s R Us used to be located.
Initially, right after we bought our sofa, I rated overall buying experience 5 stars, but the experience we had so far with delivery of our sofa is frustrating. When we bought the sofaand love seat, we were told that it will be available and delivered in the first week of January. We received our sofa and love seat but the console which joins loveseat was missing. We called the customer service right on the same day and were told that it was missed loading on the truck and will be delivered next day. Its been 4 days since then and we are still waiting on the console. Every time we call customer service to receive a response that our concern is noted and a delivery has been setup for next day.. Its really been a worst nightmare. Just getting a business on a commitment which is not fulfilled later is not a good business practice. Sales team should understand their delivery team and make commitments to customer accordingly. Not buying in future or recommending Bobs furniture to anyone. Adios!
Worse experience ever! I ordered our bed back in April and so far I just have the mattress! They keep changing the date for the rest of the bed but think I’m going to continue to make payments for something that I don’t have…..never ! They agreed to take payments out on the first of each month but then started taking them whenever they wanted to ! I’ll never do business with them again ! And everyone I’ve spoken to says their stuff came broken 😡 terrible
My wife and I had a terrible experience recently with another furniture place, so we were very hesitant about dealing with another one. Once inside the store an associate(Sydney) approached my wife and assisted us by asking a lot of questions as to what we would be interested in and looking for. We would throw questions and scenarios at her and she wouldnt just blurt out the answer right away. She would look the items up and give us different scenarios of the furniture we liked and what was in stock. She was very professional, polite, honest. and gave us straight answers as to what they had, what was available, when it would be delivered or available. Other places did not go into the depth that she did. She would follow us to each different pieces of furniture and was very honest about every answer to every question we would ask. She made both my wife and I very comfortable with trying to make our decisions.
We purchased four furniture items two months ago, then two of them were broken when the delivery date comes. We accepted the customer service’s reschedule one month later, but then one of them arrived broken again, this is so frustrating and all they can do to fix is to let you wait another month, for an item you don’t know if it will arrive in broken package with scratches again. So, be careful!!!
This place is amazing! Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by salespersons, they let us know how they’re pricing worked and what to look for! They’re furniture was of good quality and a pretty decent price. Our salesman Ryan was great as well, he was not pushy whatsoever and checked up on us a few times to offer us help and never gave off the typical “sales “ vibe. I recommend this place to any and everyone!!
NEVER USE BOBS FURNITURE!!!!!Horrible customer service. Our Sectional was to be delivered today and due to picking up tables we also ordered the day before someone on there end completed our order. Now I am being told that we can get the Sectional with missing parts!!!! And not get these parts until January! After waiting 2 months.
I went into the store after a referral from a friend. Everyone in the store greeted me kindly and was able to answer my questions. I ended up speaking to Jen who really helped me finalize my decision to get the couch I had been looking for. Jen is an outstanding employee and I couldnt have asked for a better person to help me with my first big purchase. Ask for Jen! She kind, knowledgeable, professional, and understanding of ones needs. I will definitely be coming back to do business here.
This review is based on our experience while shopping at Bob’s. While we have not gotten any of our furniture yet, our overall experience was great. Chris was the one who helped us through the whole process and was very attentive when we needed him, but also knew when to give us space to just think about what we were looking at. He went through every option available for us while we built a unique sectional, and was friendly through the whole process. He also first asked us for our names as soon as we met him, and would talk to us by our names. We came back a couple days after our initial visit and he remembered us and walked up to us and asked how we were doing and everything. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we got exactly what we were looking for compared to the other 5 furniture stores we had been to.
Ruth was extremely helpful and so friendly. She was informative and explained everything throughly about our goof proof and our price. We had our toddler with us and she was very patient and kind, our daughter even hugged her at the end. Thanks so much for making couch buying so easy!
The store associate Chris was very helpful and friendly. He was able to assist me with all of my furniture needs and he happily answered all of my questions. The prices for the furniture was extremely reasonable. I expected to spend a lot more than I actually ended up spending. That was the biggest plus.
I worked with Chris at the Dayton Mall store. He was phenomenal to work with and very knowledgeable. Due to Covid, most furniture stores are months behind, with some pushing a year. Bob’s not only has amazing prices and quality, but also a great 5 year warranty, quick and easy financing, and the best of all, only a few weeks wait to get the furniture piece I desired. Honestly, I always thought Cedar Hill Furniture was the way to go, but Bob’s now has my business for good.
Went a couple days ago and came back last night to purchase a sectional couch! They had the best bang for your buck and Berry our furniture specialist had knowledge of the product, taste, and was very helpful throughout the buying process! They werent pushy and offered a 0% financing for a year, which we took advantage of! Highly recommend this place for any furniture needs! Ask for BERRY!!
I had a wonderful experience at Bobs Discount! Barry Jones made shopping very enjoyable. I came to the store 3 times before i actually purchased what i wanted. My sister and I had him all over the store, but he was very patient and didnt seem like he mind at all. If anyone is looking for good quality furniture and a professional environment this is the place to shop.

If i could give less than one star i would, the quality of the furniture is plastic but for the price of what would be natural materials. But i am not focusing on the material, i want to focus on the lady manager who verbally assaulted me and my partner just bc their employee asked us for a temperature check without warning, that wasn’t the issue tho. The lady manager was aggressive towards us and was all, “you can follow our policies or get out”, and had not considered we were following CDC guidelines and wearing masks. It came out of nowhere and no provocation. We came into the store looking for a piece of furniture, but we left feeling attacked and soured by the experience. Don’t bother showing up to this homophobic establishment.
This place has some beautiful furniture but they kept pushing back our delivery date even after it was confirmed two days prior to the delivery date. No one could give us an answer why the delivery date changed. They didn’t even really seem to care. It was like we were just supposed to except it and trust that the furniture would be in the next date they gave us yet again. The unreliability was too much and we ended up asking for our money back after three months of getting the runaround.
This is by far the worst furniture store i’ve ever dealt with. It started from ordering the wrong color to delivering broken pieces, to rescheduling my delivery date 5 times due to them not having certain pieces.Not to mention it took 2 months to even get a scheduled delivery date. The staff is very nonchalant. And I’m over Getting my money Back TODAY!!
I knew the couch that I was looking for and was super excited they had it in stock. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and they made the process fast and easy! I spent about two months looking for furniture and they got me together in like 20 minutes.. they were also patient with my children because it was naptime when we went and they were very nice!! I would definitely recommend Bob’s furniture reasonable and presentable

We will for sure be returning here! We walked out extremely happy with the couch we picked! The store was very clean and set up nicely. I went looking for a new recliner for back support and when entering was greeted with a temperature check, which is good considering Covid19 making sure customers are safe. I was greeted next by Jennifer sales associate who was very professional and very friendly. She was smiles and upbeat personality made you feel comfortable in asking what my needs was. Nice to have a personable and friendly person talking in taking care of your needs. I never got pressured at anytime that I had to buy the recliner. It made me feel more valuable as a customer when the manager came over and asked if everything is okay and how Jennifer is doing, which I replied great. The manger even offered slice of pizza they had of wanted.Granted you don’t hardly ever go to into a business and having management offer feee food as a good gesture.Never have been here at Bob’s furniture and as of now I don’t see that changing where I’d never return. I will always check them out if I need something again in the future.Thank youKevin
This place is amazing. Customer service is awesome. The staff are very polite and knowledgeable. Got my dining set about a month ago. When it was delivered there were a few issues. However, the staff were very helpful in correcting the problems as soon as possible. Just ordered my living room set and cant wait to get it delivered. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible experience. Five weeks after ordering a lot of items, entire order was canceled. Zero communication, five different delivery dates set and absolutely nothing delivered. Everyone you call has a completely different story...none true. Will never enter their doors again. So disappointing.
They get a 2 star rating because they did have Good customer service when I went in both times to make purchases. However the wait for the delivery of the furniture is unheard of. I ordered a couch for me in August that was supposed to be here in September. 2 weeks after I order my couch I ordered my mom a chair that came a few days after the order. The delivery in her chair was very unprofessional for having paid for the Bobs goof insurance. When I placed the order for my moms chair I checked on my original order the delivery date had been changed to 10/15. Then called last week only to find out that it has been pushed back again with no heads up. They need to have the option to allow people to make a partial payment until your order is ready to be shipped. They are holding on to alot of money and I dont have anything to show. And the fact they dont give you any heads up on the delay is frustrating especially now .
Today was the second time I’ve been to Bob’s furniture and it was the second time I was not greeted and asked if I needed help. I was there the first time to buy children’s bed set and left without buying; decided to give them another chance because I liked what I saw online but the same thing again! I walked all over the left side of the store and stopped to look at almost every bed set I came to, was there no less than 30 min and was never approached by anyone.
Chris was wonderful. Took the time to show us all the features and what to expect from the furniture. Was great at taking the time to listen to all the questions we had. Took the time to help with the application process. Chris is who I will be buying all my furniture from. I will never go anywhere else but Bobs furniture
I went in just to look. Wasnt sure I would find something so Jen just hung back and waited for this butterfly to lite. It was nice to not be hounded and followed around. Ted, the manager checked in to see how things were going. That is a nice touch. They both answered questions and put my mind at ease. After my most recent issues with another company, promoting to cancel my order, this is wonderful. They helped with the easy credit application and i was out the door. I was in and out within 45 minutes! Very refreshing!!! Thanks, yall!
We purchased a sectional couch and dining room set in December 2020. We were told we would have delivery in February/march when we purchased. Later delayed to May. We just received the dining room set this week. The chairs have scuffs and almost looked unfinished on the legs and the delivery people left a sterofoam mess all over the place included in the white glove delivery service. We have later received notice that delivery of the sectional is now delayed until July. If you have a need for furniture, plan on not getting it for at least 7 months despite how much this company tries to reassure you. Who knows if we will even get our couch in July as it seems each month we get a notice of delay.
We had a very informative and pleasant salesman. We weren’t hounded by anyone and when we were ready to talk, Barry was close by and gave us all the information we needed to decide to make our purchase. We are quite confident that they will stand by their product. Check them out!
My wife and I walked in looking for a dining room table set. We were greeted immediately by a nice young lady at the door who informed us of the COVID restrictions. Immediately after, a sales representative by the name of Barry approached us and asked if we had been there before. We stated no, so he very politely and professionally told us about their furniture, pointed us in the direction of each thing and said that nobody would hassle us and if we needed help we could grab him. Eventually my wife and I started making decisions about which table we wanted out of 2 separate ones. Barry assisted us with putting the leaf in the middle, etc. to show us exactly how it could be. We decided on a set and went back to someone in the finance office (since we were about to spend double the amount of money we originally wanted to) and worked with a middle-aged blonde haired lady. She put together the financing package and kept trying to hassle us over the insurance and delivery, which we stated we didn’t want either and were comfortable picking the furniture up. She stated it’s “Bob”s policy” that they deliver the furniture via the “white glove” process. We were about to cancel the deal when she stated she needed manager approval before they could remove the delivery fee and do a pickup. A few minutes go by and they state they can remove the delivery fee. My wife and I were super sketched out at this point. Typical dirty sales practices happening. Not showing all the info, talking quietly in front of us, acting like they’re “doing us a favor” and everything else. Super bad experience, but we fell in love with the furniture so I cut through the BS, looked into the financing terms more diligently, and cut out the nonsense and got to the point. That wasn’t appreciated by the lady behind the desk, but whatever. (For reference, I’m a sales manager somewhere else and would never tolerate this behavior or practices.) We got to “The Office” and they were ringing everything up and trying to get us a delivery date when it just so happened that the lady behind the first desk “forgot” to tell the cashier/lady at “The Office” that we removed everything but the table set itself. That gets corrected and then we’re told delivery won’t be until late December. At this point, we called the deal off. Our guts told us something was wrong and that this wasn’t going to end well. Once we said that, the salesman came over and the lady from the finance office (first lady, the middle aged blonde haired one) told him “they cancelled” and rolled her eyes.Moral of the story. If you’re paying cash and are okay paying 25% for delivery, by all means shop here because the quality of the furniture seems decent for the money. But the shady practices and random “Bob’s policies” just made this place a no-go for us. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else.End all be all, Barry (the salesman) was great. But once you get beyond the salespeople, customer service goes down the drain and they treat you like a child.Thanks for coming to my Ted talk!
It is a fantastic place! Large, clean, well distributed. Zero discrimination which I like. But no discount! It doesnt matter how much money you spent. We just bought a couch, love seat sofa & recliner at Bob’s. Service is great. They don’t bug you while shopping and answer all questions professionally & courteously. The price was better than any place we looked. I would recommend Both Jen and Chris to help you with your visit.
Chris was so helpful throughout the process. Here’s what we liked about Bob’s—- zero gamesmanship and zero haggling. If you want a place that you can comfortably shop without being incessantly followed and pressured, give this place a visit. Such a refreshing way to do business. The price is the same on Labor Day as it will be tomorrow or a week ago. Great experience!
Purchased a recliner for store pickup. They told me it would arrive at the store the following week. I called the following week and they delayed the shipment for another 2-3 weeks. The only reason I bought this recliner was because the salesperson told me they had plenty of the item in stock and it would be shipped fast! This was my first AND LAST time buying furniture there. What annoys me the most is I threw out my old furniture the day before this recliner was supposed to arrive. Now I have no recliner to sit in, and I have to run back to the store for a refund.DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT WEEKS OR MONTHS FOR IT!
Deceitful sales practices, sold me a $3000 sectional. Paid in full. Forced to accept delivery of 2 pieces of sectional as rest was back ordered. Was told if I didn’t accept pieces it would be a longer delay. Have been delayed to more times since and now saying may for delivery. So I’ll have old pieces and new pieces. Tried to return and refund and they declined. Go somewhere else, super dirty business tactics.
I went to Bobs by the Dayton Mall for my first time Saturday, to look at a couch or love seat. I was greeted with a smile when I entered the door . I asked to be pointed in the direction of living room furniture, but I was pointed in the direction of a very knowledgeable salesperson. Sydney answered all my questions and was very honest with her answers. She showed me all the pieces I asked to see . She also helped me get financing so I could bring my new living room furniture home. Thank you Sydney.
We ordered and paid for a table in October, and STILL have not recvd it. We have been lied to, told all kinds of things and given the run around 3 times now. After calling for the final time and being told the date is pushed back to Feb, we demanded a refund. Do NOT waste your time with Bobs furniture store. None of their employees at corporate are knowledgeable, and they offer NO discounts for the inconvenience. Never again!
I really enjoyed my shopping experience here! I wasn’t shadowed or harassed by representatives. They allowed me to look around and shop at my own pace and when I was ready to purchase, Sydney was friendly and helpful. I will definitely buy from this place again in the future
I went to Bob’s looking specifically for end tables & possibly a dresser. When I got to the front door, there was a sign asking to wait before entering until a sales associate could escort me in, which a gentleman immediately did. He also informed me that they were low on sales associates that day but I could look around & someone would be with me shortly. Poor man, I saw him a few min later getting berated by a lady for not having box springs in at the exact moment she needed them & that it was ridiculous shipping was taking so long in a pandemic. He was amazing & handled it like a pro. Another gentleman then helped me and was able to get my items delivered in just a couple days. They were all very efficient & extremely helpful. Very smooth transaction.
These guys can’t get an order right to save their lives. Ordered a kids bed back in May and a month later they shipped 2 boxes of parts with 2 different colors. Called their “customer service” line and was told we can’t have a refund and they would only give ya store credit. Fine, we gave them another chance to make it right and told them to order a pearl color set and they said it’ll be another month to get them delivered. Okay, we can live with that. Just delivered the bed and it’s the wrong color. delivered a pink color instead of pearl. At least this time, it’s not mismatched parts. Pink is not what we wanted and I’ll be looking to a different store that knows what they’re doing.Nearly 5 months and still wrongAbsolutely horrible.
First time stopping in. They took the precautions by taking temp and screening each person that entered the building. The salesman was very nice, helpful and got us in and out. Have to wait for the items to come into stock, but looking for before Xmas for the furniture. Would recommend to anyone looking for furniture!!
The worst decision weve ever made was to purchase Bobs furniture.Bought a bedroom in March 2020 and paid it all in full price on the spot. Their unprofessional delivery team (no masks, no gloves, thatdont care about the precautions, one of them bent down and stole cash that was under the steps and was caught on camera) delivered the bed after 4 months. They said night stand wasnt available, and will be delivered later.Finally in October, the same unprofessional delivery team, delivered a damaged night stand, we told them not to go upstairs as its unsafe to let Bobs people in your house since zero precautions were taken by them.Customer service has been the worst through all the process, tells me will deliver a replacement on the day and time that works for us, then the day before I get a text msg that the delivery is not as we requested but whenever they want to deliver and that time keeps changing through out the day ,so we need to not work or go anywhere all day so MAYBE Bobs furniture will deliver whenever they want to.I want no one from their team to deliver to us anymore and I offered to pickup the item from the store, was told 12/26 it will be ready for pick up.When I called on my way there ,they told me it wont be before February 2021until it MIGHT be available. (A year later after I paid for the room).When I want to talk to a manager they say we cant do anything until you receive the item.I wanted to return the whole bedroom during theProcess and of frustration but even that they denied as they delivered the bed and whatever is delivered cant be returned.We dealt with Ashleys, Morris, Value city, Elder Bearman, we never have a bad and frustrating experience as we had still going through with Bobs furniture .A year later, and 20 plus phone calls, the nightstand is still not here.If I could, I would give this place -5 stars. This was the most frustrating experience we have ever had. I do not reccomend this place what so ever. Save yourself!!!
When I was in the store and bought my item I was told it was in stock and I would have it in a week no more than 2 weeks and it was coming from Chicago and would be delivered to their store. I thought great I will have before July 9th bit now Im being told that it will be six weeks. Misleading sales for sure!!!
Just left their store in Miamisburg Ohio. Nine months of lies to replace a damaged piece and deliver a missing piece that was never delivered for a $2000 baby girl bedroom that we purchased back in October of 2020. I was told today that there are no assurances to what day the problem would be resolved and that my only option is to wait because its not their fault but the factorys fault. When I asked if I should sue the factory for this a bully by the name of Fred Pascual claiming to be the manager charged at me and said we can no longer talk about this since you brought up the word sue or pursuing legal option and threatened to call the police. Only criminals fear legal actions and I advice everyone that got ripped off by them to go to court and take legal actions against them.
Fairly dissatisfied. I understand there is a pandemic. But a business should not take your money if they cant fullfil your order in 6 months. Bad practice. They said 6 weeks but have pushed it back 4 months since For 2 chairs. There no telling when. Anyone else beware!
I came in with my young daughter today to shop for her first real mattress. The selection was great and we picked one out that she liked and we plan on going back to buy it *solely* because of the great price. I disliked that not a single employee greeted me in the store. We were in the mattress section for about 15-20 minutes trying beds out. A man & woman walked into the section to look at mattresses and within 2 minutes, TWO employees walked up to the man and started talking about their deals and financing, asked them if they needed any help, etc. I worked retail for 9+ years. There were plenty of other employees that I made eye contact with, walking around, not busy assisting any other customers and still nothing. I don’t like the idea that I may have been perceived as a young woman who was there to just “have fun” and look at furniture with my child. Just because I don’t have my significant other with me doesn’t mean I wasn’t ready to make a purchase. Annoying. Since I left because of that reason, maybe when I go back someone will simply say “hello what can I help you with?” and then I will buy her the mattress we picked out.
The sales representatives in the store was very nice and professional, and helped us fine exactly what we were looking for. But the day of delivery was a nightmare. I had to ask more than once for one the delivery/assembly staff member to put his face mask on.My furniture is still sitting unassembled because they didn’t have all the parts. This happened on January 5th, Bobs Furniture management said they have to have the missing parts FedExed to us, but they wouldn’t be able to come back to complete the assembly until the 21st. They left trash in yard from unboxing the furniture.Overall a horrible experience.
Terrible customer experience. Ordered January 18, 2021. Was originally told the couch and sofa would come in end of February 2021. It got pushed to mid March, then mid- April. I called to get a delivery scheduled. They then told me, it would be June. Called customer call center and it just kept rerouting to automated machine. Terrible. Terrible customer experience.
We were promised by the sales associate that our furniture would be delivered on January 2nd. On December 30th we got a text saying it was delayed until January 12. Now here we are one day before the delivery date and we get another text saying the delivery was delayed again, this time with no estimated date AND the wrong delivery address listed. We just moved and have NO furniture even though we ordered well ahead of time. If the delay occurs again after the next promised date (February 3) we are cancelling with Bobs Scam Furniture.
Super friendly staff. But was not impressed with the time it has taken to get my furniture. It’s been over a month and I can’t get ahold of anyone on the phone. The recording on the phone says to go online and track shipment. I tried that, doesn’t recognise my number I used to purchase furniture. Not a fan of this place, again staff was friendly and they do have some nice stuff but probably won’t be using them again and def won’t recommend to friends. I have bought multiple pieces of furniture from other places and I have never in my lifetime had to deal with this. I get there’s a pandemic but for crying out loud come up with a plan B! Most of if not 99% of every of company has. I know my company has.
This is the worst furniture company I have ever had the displeasure to work with. I have been lied too and promised dates and times only to be sent an email the night before to say we are sorry but something has happened with your order and delivery will be delayed. Emails always come after store closes so cant reach anyone till the next day when delivery was supposed to happen. Good looking furniture but worthless customer service and delivery. DO NOT BUY FROME HERE. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
I had a wonderful experience at Bob’s!! I was greeted by Jenn and she was so helpful and not pushy. I returned a week later to purchase a bed for my daughter and once again was helped by Jenn. My kids even asked if we could come back and hang out there even though we weren’t buying anything!
It literally takes months to get any good furniture from this place. call to see if they had a furniture piece that I found on their website they told me they did drove an hour to see them and found out it wont be available for another 5 months.. everything even close to it that they sold would take 3 months. pass.
Ordered my furniture in September-October of 2020 was told it would be in by November of 2020 so far they lost an order, they sent a sectional that was broken the spring was through the couch other parts are bent on it furniture looks like it went thought a wwe match before it got delivered , they delivered a bed that was canceled from order because we didn’t like it and of course it came with no rails had to go and tell them to send what they can to my house that could be used so we can have a guest room in our home three times they went to wrong address after we have called went in and called again to have the wrong address removed and then today after all this trouble the new bed arrives me and fiancé were happy thinking we finally have a guest bed and guess what the rails weren’t for the bed I was just told when I went in this bed was complete and ready and once again I’m sitting around waiting for them for furniture that they say they have but they continue to mess everything up not to mention the rug we ordered in October that they lost my girl has been so upset about because we tried to order it again and they wanted us to wait 6 more months but yet they had the rug 3 different places on the floor I’m gonna be honest I’ve never had such a bad experience with trying to get furniture and the bob workers that came to my home literally told me they mess up everything from every delivery and he let me know he has been staying in hotel for a month him being from Connecticut to fix the problems in Ohio they haven’t gotten anything right and I don’t appreciate it almost being a year only reason we went to bobs from the start is they told us in October of 2020 everything would be here by November 2020 as you can tell they will take your money and tell you anything they are very dishonest I don’t see how a place like this hasn’t been reported for bad business I’m waiting another week for my guest bed now I guess because they put the wrong part on the truck I’m tired of waiting for them to come do something right , clearing my schedules and it not getting done this is horrible. I was I could give 0 stars
I was pleased with the service at the store but when the furniture was coming the customer service went down hill. The salesman Chris Shiar called stating I needed to take the furniture piece by piece or there was no guarantee I would get what I had paid for nor would it be in the timeframe discussed at the sale. He said covid 19 prevented them from holding the furniture and delivering it all at the same time. The order was supposed to come all at once to replace my current living room set per the conversation at the sale they “noted” but they could not fulfill that request. I cancelled my order and will not shop at Bob’s discount furniture again. I have had a positive experience before with another location. Avoid Bobs discount furniture in Miamisburg Ohio for large purchases.
Barry was awesome and very knowledgeable. He was always close by, but not pushy. I really appreciate him dismantling a sectional a few different times and putting it together a few different ways so I could really see what I would be purchasing. The manager Mr. Paschal, was also very friendly and helping. Definitely would recommend asking for either when going into the store
Chris, the gentleman that helped my husband and I was absolutely amazing!! He was so helpful and answered all of our questions. Was very curious, humorous, knowledgeable, and got us in and out with exactly what we needed in a timely manner.. I definitely recommend this store. 100% great customer service from the time you walk in until the time you leave.
I do NOT recommend this place for anything. They took our money 2+ weeks ago and we still dont have the correct items we ordered. First they tried to overcharge for 2 mattress/box spring sets then delivered the wrong box spring, not once but TWICE. Both times the delivery driver told us it was the correct thing only to discover the queen size that should have been delivered was a full... TWICE. You cant even call their customer care phone line unless you literally have over 90 minutes to wait on hold or be 125th in line on their online chat. Its terrible customer service and very frustrating to have to sleep on the floor for over 2 weeks because this company cant get it together. NOT ACCEPTABLE and definitely NOT satisfied.

2022-01-31Bought a bedroom set from Salesman Earl 2 months ago and was impressed by the experience that I went in yesterday and purchased another set. We had been to several furniture stores and was advised by another competitor to come to Bobs. Ill be a longstanding customer based on the quality of furniture, the optional warranty and white glove delivery.

2022-02-28This was my first time purchasing from Bob’s furniture. The staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful without being pushy. That’s important to me. I hate feeling pressured and feeling that a sales person only cares about closing a deal. Never felt that at Bob’s. At no point did they pressure or try to push something on me. They answered my questions and provided me information and allowed me the time to look and discuss with my wife. Great sales team! Also the style of furniture was what I was looking for and at reasonable price. I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely be shopping at Bob’s in the future.

2022-05-16Jason Jackson, at the Dayton Mall Location was our salesman and he was amazing. We purchased new living room and bedroom furniture. He was knowledgeable and helpful without being overbearing and pushy! He gave us the time needed to make informed decisions and the store manager was very helpful with providing financing options. We really appreciated their help and great customer service. Our girls enjoyed complimentary snacks in the cafe while we did our paperwork. Overall a great experience and we will be back!

2022-07-14Wonderful experience. Never bought a piece of furniture all by myself.Was expecting high pressure sales and none of that. I had looked atthings online, so I kinda knew what I wanted. Tony showed me the bedand was easily able to put it on his I pad. Loved the bed and mattressset I got. Price was excellent. Tony worked on my sale and Adam themanager came to check things out. Highly recommend this store. Youwill not be disappointed. Tony said he checks daily and will let me knowby E mail when it is in. I cant wait for it arrive and expect No problems withtheir service when they deliver. Thanks guys.

2022-04-06Salesman Joe at the Dayton location was super friendly and low pressure, which is a welcome feeling when furniture shopping. He was very knowledgeable about everything we asked him. We decided to place an order on a sectional, but ran into availability issues on some of the pieces. Joe and manager Adam worked to help us get the pieces that were immediately available from the configuration that we chose scheduled for shipment asap. We could also tell that Adam does a great job in his leadership role, as he kindly and respectfully pulled Joe aside to share some of his knowledge along the way.

2022-06-12So first off Barry was awesome and very informative and helpful. Very hands off approach, (which the store tries to give each customer), but the best part was the prices. Once we did some scanning of products we asked Barry to come over and he broke down the furniture in detail and gave us useful information about their wait times and protection plan. When we started to deliberate or talk it out he walked away again to give us space and came back when we were ready. We essentially left feeling like we got a great deal and are excited for our new table to arrive

2022-07-21Jason is an excellent sales rep. Very helpful and courteous. However, Bobs White Glove delivery sucks. The delivery staff dont have the necessary or basic equipment to move furniture while installing. Even on the second try they didnt bring the shoe covers and straps as previously discussed with the logistics coordinator from Bobs. They ended up staining the carpet, for which I have to call in a professional cleaner.
