Bob Evans in other cities:
Tried calling the location in Independence this morning and once again someone did answer BUT asked me to please hold and NEVER RETURNED!! This is so rude of you to have a person holding. If you know your to busy to take phone orders then dont!! Put out a message that says youre not taking phone orders. Your community will appreciate that more than you just leaving a person on hold. Now I will be taking my money elsewhere today because of it.
Called prior to see if a part of 14 could be accommodated. Went there for my daughters birthdday. Tsaid they could absolutely have us, no problem. Got there, seated, ordered, then we were told 40 minutes later than there was only one person working the kitchen and that food would be quite a bit longer. Eventually it came out and most of it was cold. Our server was AMAZING, and felt very bad for us, but she was working with 2 or 3 other people (servers and a manager) who did nothing to help her despite there being no one in the restaurant but us. It was disgraceful. Awful experience, cold food, wonderful server (which is the only reason this isnt a 1 star review).I hope this was a fluke and not how things always run at this location.
I ordered carry out server said it would be 20 Minutes. get to the car food was not hot I order hashbrowns got breakfast potatoes. my fiance ordered grilled chicken it was dry it was just all bad 👎 no bueno didnt even go back in just tossed the food and went else where... its seems like the team of Bob Evans doesnt even acknowledge read or reply to the reviews.
Terrible!! I am a regular customer at this bob evans but today was the worst I ever seen. Customers were being ignored because they were to busy with take out orders. The manager is the worst manager I have ever had the experience to see. Today bob Evans lost alot of money and all the waitresses lost money also. What customers were seated, waited 45 mins for service. We were going to order takeout and go and sit in a booth
Great place, great service and awsome staff. We came out from New York to visit friends and patroned this establishment. If we are out there again we will be going back for breakfast, Thank You to all who are involved that make this place a great establishment to come to 🤜🤛🇺🇲
Our door dasher has waited 2 hours to pick up our food. We ended up canceling because our food wasn’t done after 2 hours and it wasn’t fair to our door dasher who made no money in those two hours as we saw on the app they were waiting at the restaurant the whole time.
Had to give one star to review. Horrible experience. Seated 2 parties in front of us that came after us. When questioned said it looked like someone scratched our names off. Promised we were next. Then proceeded to seat a third party ahead of us. When we said something again they said name not on list. Had to point it out were it was rewritten. Music from kitchen can be heard out in restaurant. Also heard at least 2 wrong or not received take out orders. Horrible experience.
Good was not sure comes to order but they corrected it quickly and got it perfect. The issue is not up to the standards of many states about their wheelchair ramp. It is very steep. Assistants have to push take hard to get someone top the angle the ramps are currently on or arent themselves. They do not have electronic door openers.this is a Dudley and hazed whether in a wheelchair or with a walker. There is a saving grace that few would know, if you go around the back to the carry out for, it is completely flat. There are no disability parking space back the though.
When things were moving slow the Manager ALEX DODD, stepped right in to assist and to keep the flow going. He is an excellent manager that deserves recognition and promotion. He also made sure that our fish and chicken dinners were taken care of, in addition to our soft drinks and desserts. Lastly, he holds a pleasant conversation, smiles, and professional. We will eat at the Bob Evans on Rockside in Independence again.
Overall service was just so so. Not that busy, super short staffed, didnt have a few foods available at the 3 oclock hour (many of us wanted chicken dishes and they had no chicken to serve because someone forgot to pull it from the freezer). 2 people ordered in our party the bacon cheeseburgers and there wasnt any bacon to be found on the burgers. Had to keep asking for refills. No one cleaned the dirty dishes off our table. And basically all the soups and salads came out with our meal instead of beforehand like they should.
Absolutely horrible service! Put on hold 26 minutes to order carryout. Drove to restaurant watch people standing around, asked for manager, question why. Lame excuse. Ordered and waited 35 minutes for food. People sitting very frustrated on wait time. Last time coming to this location
Had the sampler, thats plenty for me. Kevon was my waiter, on top of coffee warm ups + jelly for my biscuit. He did a lot, he was constantly working and very polite. He had four tables and seemed to be confident and still doing things from behind the counter. His manners were exceptional. Give him an A+.
Hostess was very unfriendly and obviously hated her job. Poor choice as the first impression of the restaurant. My waitress was great! Very friendly and focused on her job. Knew what she needed to do and did it.Food was excellent. I loved everything I has. Will definitely go back!
Waited 1 hour for our drinks. Would of waited longer if I didnt find someone to serve us. Had to get our own silverware. Food was cold! Waitress dropped the plates on the table. Table was sticky, smelled like its not been washed ever. Sons drink had a chunk of food on his glass when it was served to him! I should have walked into a clean restaurant with friendly staff and i got the opposite. I wont come back. Would have given zero stars however there was no option. Gross just gross
Sub par service. Employees visibly on their cell phones while many guests were waiting to be seated. Food was decent and probably would have tasted better if it was hot. Server never checked back to see if the food was ok. No one was moving with any sense of urgency. Overall, this experience was disappointing. I hope they use this review to try and improve.
I come to US and A to try more American trash food. I come to Bob Evan’s to eat food out of barn like in my home country if Kazakhstan. In my country we have tradition when we don’t wear shirt in barn food. I come to barn restaurant and they say they won’t seat me. “Not nice”!!! I explain it a tradition in Kazakhstan, they said it not ok in US and A.They say they call the police. I had to leave!Wah wah we wah very not nice. Not great success.
As a DoorDash Driver, I’ve had at least 30 pickups from this location. When the parking lot is empty, food is always ready. The second the lot is half full the service becomes so bad. A lot of the time no one will acknowledge me for at least 10 minutes when I stand at the register, even though at least 5 workers have seen me there. Food is usually ready 30-60 minutes after the pick-up time. The staff is usually very stressed and can have an attitude. This makes it an awful experience as a dasher.
Dined on 6/25 at 11:30am. Very busy at the time, and the servers seemed a bit overwhelmed. Despite being so busy our server Jessica was very nice. She got our order in pretty quickly and the food came out hot delivered by a friendly manager. Great job to the staff for staying so nice even though there seemed to be a few less-than-savory tables that were, in my opinion, impatient and rude. Thank you for the nice breakfast Bob Evans Independence!
After ordering breakfast waited one hour no food. While waiting other 3 couples sat down 25 minutes after me and my girlfriend ordered. They were all served before us. After the third couple was served, we left. We are at the Dennys by this Bob Evans now. Amanda is take good care of us.
Ordered online for curbside and couldn’t find signage. Went inside and the person at the counter didn’t want to acknowledge me until I flagged her down. Just told me they are working on it, could not gone me an eta. After 25 minutes apparently my food was ready, but no one told me or called out my name. The woman who I originally spoke to had gone off to do something else, apparently I was not important enough to keep track of.
I was actually invited to for lunch here and it wasnt the best experience. The waitress started off decent. As I waited for a friend to arrive the waitress did check in to see if there was anything I needed. Once my guest arrived she took our order and only checked in when we called for her. There was something in my salad so I didnt get a chance to really eat it. She never offered to get us another one and the check came for our meals 2 minutes after we began eating. Ive never had that happen to me at any restaurant before. Upon checkout, the cashier was as dry as her personality. She didnt want to engage in polite conversation at all. Overall, this place is a definite no go for me. I will not be back, not even to order online and pick up.
The service was slow. The food was overcooked. Hard basted eggs and sausage crisp without any flavor. Coffee was served only two times and we had to wait thirty minutes to get our food. The workers were more interested in talking to eachother in the back than taking care of customers. I had been here many times in the past but never again. Shame on the management.
Went to Bob Evans this morning for breakfast. We waited 15 minutes before even getting acknowledged with our presence. The waitress came over to take our order and we we waited 15 minutes for the beverages to come out, and still no beverages. We got up and walked out. This was a horrible service .Experience.and will never go back there again.experience, horrible staff and serviceT
Table seevice was mediocre. Other people recieved their food before we did. Refills not offered. We tried to keep in mind that every place is short staff so we just try to work through it. Our food was as we ordered and was hot. We love bob evans in general, i just think this location isnt as good as the others we have been to.
Im sorry, this was our least enjoyable Bob Evans experience. Nothing was so bad we had to reject, but there was nothing praiseworthy, either, except the always scrumptious biscuits & banana bread! I wouldve been happier spending my money on their incredible coffee scented candles!
I have literally never once spent the time to leave a bad review for a place of business, so the fact that Im doing it now should tell you something. I went in and was just gonna buy a banana bread but when I asked if they sold whole pies, the woman said they do, and listed the flavors. Thats all she said, yes we do, we have x, y, z. I ordered apple and was told to sit and wait. Waited about 10 minutes got my pie and left. Got it home, it was literally frozen solid. I called back and whoever answered the phone went from sounding shocked that it was frozen to yeah thats how we sell them really quick. First of all why was I not told that it would be a frozen pie that Id have to let thaw out in my counter (thats the instructions I was given when I called back)? And why did I wait 10 whole minutes just for them to bring me a frozen pie? Ill never go back there.
My girlfriend and I waited 20 mins for a table even though it wasnt really all that busy, but then we ordered breakfast and it took a half hour just to come out. The food was cold , the eggs were supposed to be over easy and they were over more well, toast was supposed to be dry and it was all buttered and the wrong potatoes were there... so we just paid for our beverages and left.. We wont go back.
Service was bad very slow food was cold had flag the waitress to get her attention she never ask us if everything was okay and never asked if we wanted refills we had relatives from our of state. The cashier ask how was everything and I told her the service was bad and ask if I wanted to talk the Manger I said no. If I know are relatives did not leave a tip I would not left a tip.
Greeter did not speak to us but mumbled all the way to the table. We thanked him, he said nothing. Order was not correct and my hushand was was given an order of toast that looked like someone else had had it first. A waitress other than or own helped get new toast. The woman who rang us up also did not speak. No thank you, no nothing. It was a very negative experience and we wont go back.
I am a Bob Evans lover, but this may have been the worst experience at one in decades. The restrooms was filthy and smelled of urine.. My gravy was watery. My wifes omelett was greasy and her banana bread was undercooked. My sons omelett was made incorrectly. The tables werent bussed. The only redeeming quality was our waitress. Look into this ones management, something needs to get fixed.
I received my sides to my meal. I got the french toast and syrup 30 minutes later at least. I had to ask the manager for the french toast. After she brung my food out and told me she would bring me my french toast. I actually sat and watch a table get served food for over an half over at least because it was my server.
Real bad experience today I walked in and was sat down no one came to see if I wanted anything to drink and it was 15 minutes later when Danielle came over and never introduce herself. My friend order and his food came out burnt and grease all over is plate plus the food was cold.
Excellent customer service. I placed an online order a few days ago for pickup. I waited an extra 30 minutes past my pickup time and ended up requesting a cancellation of my order. While I did not receive my food that day, I did receive a full refund of my order. They were incredibly busy that day (and I believe they were short on staff), and each of the staff members that I interacted with that day were kind and helpful. In addition, the Director of Customer Relations reached out to me by email to apologize and also offered a gift card for my next visit, which was completely unexpected.I will definitely be coming back to this location, and any other location. Bobs has always been and will continue to be one of my favorite restaurants.
Pretty usual Bob Evans. Our table was suuuper sticky though. Like disturbingly sticky. Do they clean them after people use it? I order bacon but it didnt come out. But the waitress was very nice and the wait was very short considering how many cars and people were there.
I love all the food at bob evens ,never had a bad meal, but last nite i got to go the seafood platter, it was terrible sooo over cooked. there was supposed to be clam strips ,but they were not stripes but hard pieces of mostly breading ,i threw them out ..the fish was ok but over none..i wont get that again,.....
This was a disappointing experience. Our server was good. My omelette was overcooked; the server took it back. He brought a new one, thistime the home fries were too done. The cashier had zero personality, never saying a single word to myself or the other four people in my group who all paid individually. It is doubtful that I will go to this restaurant again.
Everytime I order a steak from here, i order it WELL DONE but I always get home with my food and it is BLOODY and not cooked ! When I called to complain about it today on the phone, the lady was rude and had horrible customer service skills. I will never order from this Bob Evans EVER AGAIN !! You would think when you spend money at a place so often, they would reciprocate respect... So sad..
Ordered the sausage gravy biscuits for six to go. Was so delicious and kept well in the fridge for a week since its just me.. 5 min in the toaster oven to reheat the biscuit and a few minutes in the microwave to heat the gravy and and I had 6 hot breakfasts! Being on lockdown isnt so bad once you change up your routine a bit! Would have never thought of this but I got tired of the same old same old and glad I tried this.
The service was excellent! The dinner, we ordered to go, was awesome and so much that we had it for lunch the next day. Theres still enough for Wednesday when we take out all left overs from the refrigerator to make a meal. We will be going to Bob Evans again, especially on one of those days when cooking is not an option!!!💞
We were left on hold so we ordered online they screws are orders all up when we specifically in detail are order paid $40 for 2 small meals that were horrible the staff was horrible service they rather horse play around then give good customer service they also left other customers sit an wait for along time before they ask what they were there for
Visited this establishment for breakfast. I figured the service would be bad when there was no one at the podium to seat us and then the employee that was asked to seat us got an attitude(not with us)about the fact they had to seat us, asking where the greeter was to another employee. Our food at least was the correct orders unlike some peoples that was not, or missing items from what I overheard the wait staff saying. Our waitress didnt seem like she wanted to be bothered(or just hated her job at this particular location)when she gave me a warm up on my coffee she started walking away mid pour spilling coffee on the table. She also didnt come halfway through and ask how our food was like theyre supposed to. The only time we saw her after my warm up was when it was time to get to go boxes and she brought me a fresh cup of cofee to go. She was pretty quick with those. I didnt tip her badly only for those last two reasons or I would have. I was late for my drs appointment because of the lousy service of this location but fortunately they took me since I had 2 minutes left before they would not. The majority of the staff seems lazy though and like they just dont want to be there. The girl that didnt want to be bothered with seating us was more than happy to cash me out though. The irony.
Get this we have to wait 5 minutes before they acknowledged us another 10 minutes before they finally cleaned the table. Couldnt find clean silverware so initially we have to use plastic. They werent busy they were just so slow! . Oh and they also ran out of creamer we had to use milk in our coffee!
I use enjoy going to Bob Evans in Independence I literally waited 45min for a wild fire salad when I ask the manager what was taking so long he told the waitress just put my order in 10min ago. Catherine is one of the slowest waitress I ever came across. Also the hostess could use a little more training on greeting customers at the front door.
My friends talked me into having a ladies breakfast here and I more then likely will pass the next go around. Our waitress and the staff were wonderful and the service was speedy, however the food was a little below okay. It taste very bland and was luke warm at that.
Exactly what we needed! This Bob Evans was just as good as any Id been too before. The staff is extremely friendly, maybe too friendly since Im not used to seeing so my energy and enthusiasm so early in the morning.I ordered my usual an omelet, hash browns, and a side of sausage links. Nothing to fancy here, standard premade food with slightly overcooked eggs. The others I was with ordered similar items all equally good. The coffee is far better than youd expect and the lemonade is pretty darn awesome. The only thing that was subpar in my opinion were the crepes, they were advertised as having strawberries and only came with two halves of a single strawberry. Whilst they certainly werent in season at the moment it was mildly disappointing.Overall a fantastic experience, we knew what we were getting into and this Bob Evans made for a great start to our day.
My google said I haven’t been therein ‘3 years’, Last time I was there, I left W/O eating BECAUSE, I sent my food back And the SECOND SERVED Meal was as COLD AS THE FIRST TIME SERVED, WHILE I WATCHED,the/A meal sit on the server kitchen window FOR AT LEAST 15 minutes... and, they didn’t even SERVE the meal of the other personw/me at the same time!but I tried ordering on line today, & separate screens minues did not verify choice of ‘ordered meals’, so I called, for delivery, and that person SAID, I have to order one line’, I told her the on line situation, and She put me on hold.... I hung up!
Waitress was great! Food was o.k. had better. Pot roast sandwich was dry, soup was so thick. More like stew. Place was dirty. Same old white napkin with filth located under counter where food comes out of. As yu sit across from food window, look underneath counter and see that same old pile of mess for the past year. Bathroom was not clean. But I loved our server. Please clean up the place . I use to love it here.
Have always loved going to Bob Evans since my teen years. Now I go with my little family. This is my fave spot to go for breakfast. It like a home cooked meal unlike other places Ive gone to for breakfast. We were greeted excitedly by a fellow Boston teams fan that made us laugh, waiter was friendly and attentive, food came quickly and was delicious. Can never go wrong here.
Overall appearance of location just sloppy. Put our orders in 15 minutes later told that they sold out of a fish dish that two of us ordered, totally understand just took way to long to let us know. Ordered a turkey melt and got a turkey club and server insisted that it was a melt, bill even said club??? All the fries were overcook, the very small portion that you got. One of us got Turkey sausage that tasted as if stored in a salt brine. No honey on table, difficult to talk to server because she came every 15 minutes. They may have been short staffed but the quality of food was more of the issue. Poor presentation and taste! Price the same or higher though!
First of the food is always GREAT at Bob Evans. Waitresses are ALWAYS PLEASANT. Food is always cooked the way you ask. Walking in the door get greeted right away. Stay as you are an never change. BUT PLEASE BRING BACK THE BROASTED CHICKEN. One of my favorites, too bad had to always wait til 4, but it was worth the wait. Stay GOOD 2 thumbs up.
Fathers day 2018 will never be forgotten.Kitchen staff looks like they never workedin a kitchen before(and I did for over 15 years), and their product put in front of me wasnt much better.Sunshine skillet was burnt, eggs were like rubber and did i mention the skillet being burnt. Thankfully i ordered soup and salad to hold me over until dinner at home.Service staff was nice, but being out of several items, poor quality of kitchen prepared food and cleanliness(lack there of),I can only rate @a 1 star.Theres a reason every restaurant was on a wait today and they werent.Other guest even mentioned that they love Bob Evans, but this location was appalling for one reason or another.Step up your game management,Unhappy customer.
Meatloaf and chicken fried steak meals are good. Coffee is always helpful, just as much as those tasty biscuits. Bob Evans can be high in price. But the quality is true, worth while for a good meal. Portions could be a bit more generous. I do like the constant feeling of warmth while eating at Bob Evens.
Food particles on all of the “cleaned” tables and booths. Woodworking around booths have days worth of food crumbs. Carpet is dirty. Entire place is dirty. Hair in my food, had to send it back. Although they made me a new dish and apologized, I had to wait a substantial amount of time for it and they offered no incentive or discount for the inconvenience. Men’s restroom smells like urine. Poor management is clear. You would honestly be better off going to dennys next door. Cleaner and better service.
Last night my husband and I stopped at Bob Evans for a late dinner. We had an exceptionally good waitress, however, despite the restaurant being fairly empty, the kitchen was slow (not the waitress!) I ordered the chicken pecan salad and it looked good initially until I found something funky in it and as it turns out it was a piece of egg carton - disgusting. The waitress took it back to the manager who apologized (almost laughing about) and asked if he could do anything for us. At that point I just wanted out of there, and although we were polite the only offer he made was to have another salad made for me. (Like NO!) I had lost my appetite so no offer of food would be acceptable at that point. He did take the salad off the bill (I would think so!) but made no offer of a gift coupon to consider returning there.I must tell you years ago at the Dennys across the way a spider dropped down from the ceiling into my eggs, landing in the YOK. If this want enough when I moved my plate away there were ants on the table. That manager at that time smiled and laughed and offered me a new meal - like I was going to eat there in that mess? It has been over 25 years and we have not stepped back in there.I work in customer service and I would do anything to right an issue that puts a black mark on my reputation. How does Bob Evans deal with this, laugh at the situation because you have no idea what else to do or say?
Quickly sat, the service is always up to standard or above. The staff is friendly and they make sure that every one feels at home. Why wait on breakfast head over there now. It is surrounded by many hotels and if you are in town! This is a great way to get the hearty meal of the day.
Not happy with the food! The meatloaf, French fries, home fries & toast were overcooked or burned. The eggs were cold. The coleslaw & banana bread was good. They took one of the meals off the bill and gave us a replacement meal to take home for free. I dont know if Id go back here or not since I only come by here once or twice a year, but I do believe in second chances & having a bad day.
After a horrible morning at another place, we came to Bob Evans and got the best service possible. Kristina always had a smile on her face and made sure we got everything fresh and fast. We only waited 10 min to be sat even though we were quoted 20. Great, clean place.
Overall I was quite disappointed. The eggs were served cold then the server brought back barely warm eggs. The pancakes must have been microwaved as they were very rubbery in texture and lack of flavor. The server was professional despite being overwhelmed with customers. Ill skip Bob Evans next opportunity...
Arrived around 2pm. This location was pretty busy. Extremely slow service. Noticed some slime smeared all over the menu. Miniscule food portions and the entire meal was cold. Instead of remaking ALL of the food, including the crusty pancakes and already overly were reheated. Subsequently, the manager insisted the food was remade, yet, the pancakes came back with clear indications that I had consumed a portion. Endless apologies and lack of delivery. Offering half off the bill when everything should have been remade is a bit lazy. They should have just waived the bill and I would have been glad to throw the food away and eat elsewhere. The ending excuse from management was that they were busy. Lol.... Wake up! Ive seen smaller scale restaurants handle busier times with more finesse. Lesson #1: Dont give excuses to why your delivering lackluster service, just fix the issue immediately with a smile, admit that your service is disgusting, is in need of corporate adjustment, and then get back to the drawing board. In any event, Id say avoid this location. The service was an unfortunate eyesore and an ultimate disappointment for the Independence, Ohio community. 5 thumbs down. Again, Ive been to restaurants that make the Bob Evans service look like a hole in the wall, a no name building, and useless place to eat. 🤬 Its sad to say because the Brookpark location delivered better service.
Weve come to this Bob Evans so many times over the past 3 years. Today we had Keven as our server and he was, hands down, one of the best servers we have ever had. Great smile, so friendly and interacted with our 3 year old when most servers usually ignore him. We had a great breakfast but it was made even better by an amazing server. Thank you Keven!
Not the 1st time an order has been messed up recently but the first time Im complaining... when I called the manager tried to blame my husband... when he brought in the crossed out receipt and said he couldnt read it and thought something was missing. How hard is it for them to following the order printed out in front of them? I guess customer service doesnt matter as much to them.
Rockside use to be one of the very best Bob Evans you could visit. However times are a changing. My experience there was less than poor. One lady was in all categories trying to get food out while several employees did nothing to help including 2 managers. I waited for a carryout for my customer 20 past the pick up time and to make it seem as if the order was ready she was dishonest and slid on her screen that the order was ready and was not. Lack of urgency and poor customer care not to mention a dirty store.
Just left this restaurant... this has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am only giving it a one star due to the fact that the food was good. So I walk in and sit at the bar where there was a little girl who may have been there with her parent (who works there). So as I sit there about 7 waitresses walk past me and never notice me. Even the little girls mother stopped to check on her, looked at me and kept walking. By now Im thinking maybe no one is working the bar area, so I stopped a waiter and asked to order. She then stopped and took my order. Then two white men walk in and before they could even grab their seats at the bar area about 5 waiters run over to greet them and ask them for their orders. This had truly upset me and I couldnt even finish my meal. I went to the cashier to pay and told a manager about my experience, he waived it off as if it was nothing. As I explained to him.. it was like he didnt want to hear it. I couldnt believe it! Youre a nationally known restaurant and this is how you treat customers? WOW! This is serious and he needs to address his staff about customer service and racial bias training. As we watch this happen every where in the world today it makes me angry and upset that we still have to deal with racial inequality in 2018. If your are African American please be aware if you decide to sit at the bar area at this Bob Evans.. maybe youll have a better experience. Or maybe not even eat here. Good luck! Will not visit this location again.Today- 07/15After my review the General Manager- Adam Byers emailed me and offered that I come in for a second time to get the customer service that Bob Evans is known for. Friendly and welcoming! I brought my family in today for breakfast and met Adam at this location. The wait time was not too long and we were seated. Our waitress was very prompt and attentive and the food did not take too long to be served. She was awesome, I am truly upset that I can’t remember her name! The staff today was friendly, attentive and welcoming. Thank you again for showing that Bob Evans can be that “Friendly Down on the Farm” restaurant.
The servers leave a lot to be desired. Went there about 4-6 times within a 3 month period and the servers never improved. Out of those 4-6 times the dinners I ordered came out of the kitchen wrong. I cant remember a time that I didnt need to send it back to get it right. The gentleman manager is never seen on the floor. Every time I asked to speak with a manager, he would come out of the kitchen with a DIRTY apron on excusing himself saying hes helping the cooks. I once wrote to corporate with my complaints. They sent me an apologetic letter with a bunch of coupons, but I never saw any changes or improvements.
Ordered the Rinse & Shine breakfast with eggs scrambled soft with sausage. Eggs were over cooked, sausage was not fully cooked and very greasy. The grease also run on the plate into the eggs. Spoke to the manager and they made another plate. That plate came back with 2 burned sausage and the eggs was still over cooked. I believe they took the same sausage from the first order and burn them.
Will never go back. Service was bad. Had to go and get my own silverware. No sugar at the table and had to go get some. Breakfast came without the bisquete. No waitress could be found. Went to kitchen area and asked for the rest of what I ordered. Seating person came over to see what the problem was. He brought me over 2 bisquetes set them down and walked away. No butter for the bisquete and no jelly either. Went up and asked for butter and jelly. At no time were we offered any warm up for our coffee. Made a complaint to the manager and he apologized for what happened and said the next time we come in he would make sure that it didnt happen. I told him I would never be back. He did not seem to concerned about the waitress not doing her job. No tip.
I will give this restaurant two stars only because they tried to right a wrong. The wrong was selling chicken that was dry and tasteless. When I called and spoke with the manager he was very accommodating, and I was able to get another dinner. The issue is the chicken taste as if it was cooked in very old oil. Im not sure if broasted chicken is cooked in oil.
HORRIBLE! Got our drink orders wrong. Lost our food order ten minutes after we ordered had to reorder. Not busy at all and had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. Chicken was not cooked super bloody had to send it back. Ordered grilled cheese with swiss on brioche bread got cheddar. Fries came after meal and sides to chicken meal cold! Daughter had water and got charged for a lemonade. All in all horrible lunch with the family couldnt even enjoy our time together cause we were worried about our orders.
Went there last Saturday, about 11 hadnt been there in years. Was seated quickly. Ordered quickly. Steak was ok. Fries were over cooked. Alfredo chicken pasta was dry we had to ask for extra Alfredo sauce. Coffee over priced. Dinner rolls came hot and fresh but they came 10 mins after we finished eating our meal. Mac and cheese I ordered never got to the table until after the check wad paid. Server was very nice and apologetic tho. better than IHOP in willoughby, Theyre terrible
I had not been to this Bob Evans in quite some time and visited recently on two occasions.I decided to leave my feedback after my second visit. Although most of the staff are quite efficient the food itself has gone by the wayside.I did breakfast food and the eggs were awful. The hash brown taste like sink water and chalk.I will never return to this location. The food has become inedible.
Came in at about 4:20 PM, Friday. Relatively empty. As I looked at,the menu, the cashier went on to do something else. The host told her she had a customer. It took her 67 seconds to get to me and she muffled simethong about be right there halfway through that time. My total was maybe 10.99. I gave cash. She gave me no change and no receipt. So much for customer service. I received much better service from Dennys up the street the day before. Wont be coming back to this Bob Evans.
The place is so dirty. Run a vacuum, wipe off menus, seats, stalls, garbage in parking lot! I went home and took another shower! No honey on table for bisquits? Food portions small and wasnt that yummy Bob Evans quality I remember . Breakfast meals came (took too long) and we were almost done eating when the meatloaf order came! It was 4 pm on a sunday and the place was empty. It used to b packed at this time with older folk. Now I know why.. Hoping its just this location and not all Bob Evans since they made the corporate decision to sub out the restaurant side. BAD decision. Dont need to fix what is not broken:( just yuk and so sad
Its Bob Evens. Predictable. It was a Sunday, party of 6 so that may account for the long wait to get our food. Wait staff should have come by once just to say, its coming! Sorry for the delay. Maybe bring out a basket of bisquits? She was polite tho and left a pot of coffee. Because of the blandness of the predictable menu its not my favorite place. However plenty of people really like that.
This was the dirtiest restaurant Ive ever been to. From the floor up to the silverware. The food was sloppy and was about as good as it looked. The chopped steak dinner tasted like a hungry man box dinner. The only reason why I paid was because I was using a gift card I would never have used my hard earned money on this awful restaurant. Clean up you act
I ordered an iced tea and chicken and noodles, it took forever to get my bowl of soup and when it did come it was Luke warm at best. The dining room was not that busy. This is not the first time in recent months I have been to a Bob Evans where the food and service has been really sub par. I used to love Bob Evans, lately, not so much. Three separate restaurants, is not an anomaly.
I ordered breakfast, my wife got lunch. My wifes meal was finished and set in the pickup window pretty quick. However, it sat there for 20 minutes until my meal was ready. My wife asked it to be remade when the waitress brought it over and told her she had seen it sitting for the last 20 mins. It was remade, this time the sandwich was served with a giant ball of literally frozen onions. Worst Bob Evans experience yet. Food took forever.

2022-02-06Breakfast was tasty at 𝐁𝐨𝐛 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬 this morning. Me and my family ordered the southwest avocado 🥑 🍳 omelet, eggs and sausage, grits with cheddar cheese, home fries, coffee and hot chocolates ☕️. Everything was hot and pretty good while it lasted. Service was sweet. Good eats!

2022-04-28Had breakfast catered yesterday morning through Bob Evans Independence. There was so much food for the cost! Excellent value, excellent taste. The firm was extremely happy with it.I ordered curbside, which was ready at 8am sharp- and came out within 60 seconds of me pulling up. Great customer service!

2021-10-08This location of Bob Evans is good. They have a new Southwest Avocado Chicken Dinner and it is very good. The employees are friendly and polite and service is prompt. The restaurant is located on Rockside Rd, in Independence. They are very close and convenient to I77.

2022-06-06The food was good and the atmosphere was very warm & inviting. Our waitress was excellent, caring & very attentive. Im only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the menu was very lean and lacked many of our familiar favorites like waffles.Other than that, it was a Wonderful experience!

2022-05-22Worst service ever @5980 Rockside Rd, Independence, OH 44131. After working 12 hour shift went to Bob Evans for breakfast, waited to place an order (because the waitress couldnt show up for work on time) A hour after placing the order & still hadnt received any food, I left. Way to sleepy to eat by that point. The next morning after work, Dennys (across the street) hooked me up with a wonderful breakfast..Skip Bob Evens, that Dennys location is the best

2022-03-07Hadnt been at this location in a few years. We had a 15 minute wait. Mom had French Toast, I had the Southwest Avocado Omelet. It was quite good. The restaurant seemed understaffed. There was no creamer or jelly on the tables. Dont know if this is something new or they were having one of those days. Everyone was friendly, so that was nice.

2022-05-09Went to this location yesterday for mothers day. Bob Evans Is one of my favorite restaurant. So, I been to a few. I order tender pork roast and loaded fries. On the side. My food was so dry not even my potato salad had gravy. And my fries was not what I expected it to be. Looks like they just threw it on the plate had small amount of cheese and bacon with a whole lot of sour cream every where. I will not be going back to this location.

2022-05-22I placed an order online and when I went to go pick it up, there was one girl working at one of the registers, I walked up to her and said I was here to pick up an order she then points at the empty register and says Togo orders are over there, I then wait for 15 minutes while people continuously walk by with acknowledging me and 3 other people. After finally getting my food I get home and realize food is missing, potatoes are completely burnt, biscuits are as hard as rocks. I call to at least get the missing food, I was been back and forth between the phone ringing and being placed on hold for 25 minutes before someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. And I’ve now been on hold for another 10. Still nothing. I work in a restaurant and this is just unacceptable. I can live with the messed up or forgotten food. People make mistakes but being looked at and unacknowledged for 15 minutes is unacceptable. Let someone know you’ll be right with them. And then to not answer your phone and hang up on someone, unacceptable. Places are short staffed. We all understand but this is just pathetic. Do better.

2022-05-14I was there last week and today on the 14thWe waited I. The lobby for 10mins. No one even acknowledge us. Finally I asked when will we be seated and was met with an attitude. 5 more minds later we were seated without an apology or anything...My entire career has been in customer service which is now a lost art. Word of advice, customer wont get as upset if they are only acknowledged.
