Friendly employees. Service of cars is a slow process in that you have to go through multiple people to do the vehicle drop off, check in, actual servicing by the technicians, wait for the paper work to be completed by another person at another desk, then pay for it to another person at another station , then go out and get your car which has been sitting outside waiting for you to go through all these steps. Customers are kept comfortable however with beverages and snacks in a luxurious environment while you wait.
BMW of Akron always is extremely professional and handles all my vehicle maintenance needs in a timely and courteous manner. I’m never “pushed” into a service recommendation but rather given a professional opinion and given the opportunity to decide for myself. I highly recommend BMW of Akron.
Sales experience was great. All was great, until it was time to get the plate for my car. Cant be the first time a car is a company car and put in a companies name with the owner as the co-signer. But this seems to have been too much. On month 3 with no plate to date. Help!
I’m conflicted on this review, as this dealership has always done a good job. While the service was done correctly and also quickly, their labor cost has skyrocketed. I had this exact same simple repair done 3.5 years ago, and the labor cost went up 143% since then. I feel like I was gouged on the cost.
I had the most unprofessional experience at this Dealership. Michelle Laughman and her manager were very unprofessional, very unresponsive to my inquiries. We were negotiating a car that they had for sale and they indicated that they will call me back in 2 hours to counter offer. No one called. I called back her and her manager Mark several times and texted Michelle and emailed her without any response. The next day I did the same thing and few hours later, I come to know that the car was sold. It turned out they were hassling the deal with another buyer and made sure not to contact me until the sale was completed. They did not have the courtesy or decency of good salesmanship to call me. I would never shop at this BMW Dealership ever. They wanted to only pay 24K for my trade in where I showed them documentation from another BMW dealer that my trade in value was at minimum 30K. There will be a recession one day and all these bad salespeople will starve for deals. Good salesmanship always prevails and always generate sales in good and bad times.Very Unprofessional!

I drove all the way from Westlake in Ohio to Akron because the Akron BMW offered the best service, best value, and had the chassis for a premium custom built BMW. I will only purchase from this dealership. They made the transaction a joy, no pressure. Timely delivery and even helped pick me up. 5 stars!
I scheduled an oil change and brake fluid flush with BMW of Akron with an inline quoted price of approximately 225$ which I though was fair and was happy to pay. My wife took my car there for service while I was at work. They proceeded to inflate the total to over 500$ and up sold a 15$ air filter to 200$ and told my wife that there was nothing they could do about it. The lack of integrity in the service department’s dealings is reprehensible and under no circumstances should any of my fellow BMW owners use this dealership for their service (or for that matter a BMW dealer at all, find a good private European trained mechanic). It seems like it is time to check out the Mercedes or Audi dealerships for my next vehicle if this is how BMW treats their return customers (I have purchased two BMWs and use them for service in the past).
The BEST ! My son and I literally slept like babies the whole time we were serviced. I brought our own snacks but I appreciate the fact that they had some as well, including beverages. I’ve been to three different bmw dealerships in Ohio but I think this one is my favorite.
We showed up at 5pm on a Friday during a road trip from Florida with an unknown malfunction on our 2015 528i. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to squeeze the car in on Saturday and complete the repair (ignition coil pack). We made arrangements to pick up the car after hours and continued on our trip with minimal delays.
My first ever sight unseen purchase from over 500 miles away, super scary for me as I am and old school kick the tires and drive it guy. I worked with Justin Bisconti and Betty McKnight. The team Nathan Lancry has assembled is outstanding and after answering all my questions, many annoying I’m sure, I felt comfortable enough to do the deal. They also worked with me and the transportation to ship the BMW X5 M50i which arrived exactly as promised in equal to or better condition than I expected. The transaction was smooth, fast and streamlined. I highly recommend this dealership as they offer an extraordinary value for the product they deliver! 5 stars all day. Outstanding!!!
This is my first time dealing with this service center. I ran something over on the highway and my tire was instantly flat. I had my car towed here because I was working and it was close. They refused to just put one tire on my car. They knew I was stranded and do not live in Akron and had no way to get home. I have purchased 3 brand new BMWs from the dealerships in Cleveland and have never been treated so poorly. I have on multiple occasions had one only tire replaced and never had an issue or refusal to do so. I was even emotional and told them I needed to pick my daughter up from school and was in a hurry and they still refused until I agreed to pay to have all four replaced. The lack of empathy shown and unwillingness to take care of a customer in an emergency situation is not what I would expect from BMW!
I am very disappointed in the service I received. When I made the appointment to have the break pads replaced, I was assured that the car would be ready the same day. I was told the same when I dropped off the car. I was also told that the car would be washed. Not only was the car dirtier when I picked it up than it was before, I also had to wait until 5 pm of the following day for the car to be ready. I had an appointment then which means I wasn’t able to get my car before two days later. The service advisor, Erin was impolite, I also had to call twice to receive an update. She told me that the reason why I had to wait for so long was because she wasn’t aware that another break job had to be done first. Why did I even make an appointment then? When I picked up the car, she didn’t even bother to greet me when she walked by twice. We have decided to look for another BMW dealer now to have service done.
I am new to the BMW world so when my X1 started acting up, I wasnt sure what to do. Thankfully, Jacob at BMW of Akron helped me out! He explained everything that was going on and communicated clearly on why things were acting up and was upfront about the price. I will definitely be taking my car back here!
BMW of Akron are a rare breed. Honest, transparent and trustworthy. I went in for an oil change and brakes as my car told me I needed both. Well Tony tech let me know my brakes still had life in them and not to worry and he suggested a few concerns on video that I will now have addressed. I am a BMW Akron customer for life!
Best service experience I’ve had. You get a video from the service provider showing you their recommendations (if any). Texting to communicate made it easy so i wouldn’t have to be by my phone. Highly recommend for ease of doing business and getting the job done with clarity.
I wish I could give zero stars. If youre looking for a BMW, stay away from this dealership. Be prepared to pay an additional $5k on top of MSRP when you walk into the dealership. This is something they arent putting on their website but they will hit you with when you look at the window sticker. Also, dont even bother using the explore payment options on the website bc they are going to charge you $200 more then what the website is telling you. They are running a super shady business and had no intentions on wanting my business. The disappointing part is I was ready to drive away in a new BMW.
They where very kind and helpful made me feel welcome like I was family. I will always go back to them for anything and when I need a car they will be my first choice everytime. I can be me there and there like family with open arms there to help you with everything with your car. Love it there
My wife brought her X3 in to have the dashboard warning light denoting tire pressure repaired. Upon leaving the light was still on. She questioned the technician and was told to drive it a few miles and restart it. The light still remained on. I have no idea why the technician did not test drive to verify the proper repair was made. She now has to bring it back in to start all over again. Not good. As usual they found several other minor things to repair.
Awesome experience buying my first BMW! Even though I bought a used BMW, the staff and specifically Mario, were outstanding. Ive always wanted a BMW, having grown up in Germany as a military brat. Thanks Mario and BMW of Akron for the awesome experience. Absolutely no buyers remorse here.Service department is also top notch.
Even during this Crazy Pandemic, I had a great experience. I came all the way from New Jersey to buy this Vehicle. Art the used car manager made me feel assured everything was taken care of on the vehicle and it exceeded my expectations, Justin B. Was a great salesperson and took very good care of me! Betty in the Finance department also worked with me to make this all happen, I wouldnt go anywhere else for a car buying experience!
This was my first experience building a vehicle. I had a lot of emotional ups and down during my wait time, but my sales woman Michelle was very, very patient with me and showed me great kindness. She was there to answer every question for me up until the day of delivery. The finance manger Betty was such a joy to work with. She made me feel so comfortable during the closing. She even worked to get me the best deal possible before signing. The whole team gave me a wonderful experience. I’m so excited to now be part of the BMW family.
The Akron BMW dealership team did an outstanding job on my new lease car, they took care of me event doing things that are not traditional in order to keep me as a happy customer, when experience a little delay on my new car… purchase was quick no hassle and a few incentives for me. Paper work was also quick. Nice people there specially Marvin Coleman who really took care of everything !
I have been leasing my BMW’s at BMW of Akron, ( formerly Dave Walters BMW ) for my last 6-or more leases and I have had nothing but very positive experiences especially since working with Eric Eisenhart-(with all my leases) and with Mark Lyon , the past 2 leases. The Service Dept. has always been equally as good to work with.The staff have been consistently courteous, helpful , professional, and very reliable . Always keeping you up to date and informed with necessary information .I just picked up my new 2022 BMW & I absolutely LOVE it !! I thank Eric and Mark and all the staff who helped in making this happen for me again!!I recently moved out of state, but I wanted to stay with BMW of Akron because of how well I have been treated there & have continued to have such great experiences there over all these years!
I am an out of state customer (Georgia). I have to admit, I had my hesitations and reservations on doing an out of state purchase. A huge purchase, sight unseen is a bit nerve wracking. Ive never done this. Im a talker/writer so I hope to keep this short. Justin Bisconti was my sales advisor. I kind of felt like he ultimately became my personal assistant! LOL He is very polite, professional, patient, and answered all questions. As well, he was very accommodating and has excellent follow up skills. I had a couple calls with the sales manager, Art. When I kinda dropped the ball and was thinking maybe Id just focus on finding something in my area, Art reached out a couple weeks later. After his call, I started to reconsider BMW of Akron again. Ultimately, deciding to move forward with the out of state purchase because despite my best efforts, I wasnt able to find anything nearby within my specific criteria/wants. I also worked with Betty in finance. She was pleasant and helpful. I did have a prepurchase inspection done - which also helped put me at ease. Overall, the mechanic said that the X6 was in great shape and took tons of pictures. Special kudos to Justin though. He made a walk around video of the car for me as requested. I feel he definitely went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and was at ease. All the people I interacted with BMW of Akron were warm and friendly. I never once felt I was being pressured or being a nuisance (despite my neediness). I thank you all! This experience has been extremely positive. Im enjoying my 2017 X6 (white exterior/red interior/black wheels/Msport). So far, so good!
Tried to get another BMW but was very difficult to deal with the sales staff. Would never return phone calls After getting 4 cars here going to a different dealership. Will probably still use the service department, they have always done a great jobGot a call from BMW of Akron after writing this review I was told someone would be contacting me. It has been a week and no phone calls. Like I said just a terrible experience dealing with this dealership top to bottom!!!

Took my BMW 328 for a driver door latch issue. They ordered the necessary parts when I made the appointment even before seeing the vehicle since parts take many days to get these days. Saved me so much potential waiting. Service advisor Ed was great. The tech made a video of the work done and texted to explain the work.
I have never had a more pleasant experience buying a car than i did at BMW of Akron. Justin Bisconti was wonderful. He had the car ready when I pulled up. No pressure sales tactics, just very professional and wonderful atmosphere overall a great experience. Certainly no buyers remorse when you leave that place. I wanted to buy a BMW and I wanted to buy in Akron, so this seemed like the right place. Unfortunately this ended up being a terrible expedience and we purchased elsewhere. In addition to other used car sales techniques, they marked up the vehicle by several thousand over MSRP (clearly displayed on the sticker) for “market” reasons. I understand supply and demand and that there is a low supply of vehicles right now, and in fact I would have paid the difference if it had been disclosed earlier, but to make that bait and switch change at the last minute is very shady, a description which matches several other aspects of the overall experience.
What a wonderful experience shopping and purchasing a vehicle at BMW Akron. Michelle Laughman was my sales advisor and she did a wonderful job explaining the process as well as providing helpful recommendations as to how I might want to configure my new X5.Knowing that there is someone I can call to answer any questions I may have, made this seem like my best new car shopping experience ever.
Mario was terrific. He answered all of my questions immediately and honestly. The rest of the staff was helpful and i couldnt ask for better treatment. I love the 330i that i bought, and would recommend everyone to take a look at the BMW brand and please stop by BMW of Akron, you wont regret it.
Nothing but problems and passing the buck! I called asking for info about getting a service, no return. I show up in person and wait for 30 minutes before anyone even pays attention. The service writer Brandon apologized and it felt sincere. But then I go to pick it up and the wheels are coved in grease and dirt! Tyrone noticed us looking and imediately rectified it. But these constant issues are making me regret our choice of buying a BMW.
Do not use BMW of Akron we thought dealing with a BMW dealership rather than any other dealership you would get treated good. However we were wrong. I was the cosigner on a vehicle they treated us very good when we were purchasing the vehicle. We wre told the vehicle was in service when we were buying it. My granddaughter had to go back after driving the car for 1 mile because the tires were low. If the vehicle was in service I doubt very seriously that the tires would need air after driving less than a mile up the road. Then the buyers had to take the car in for service 6 days after they had it they were treated very poorly by the service department nobody would call them back all day long and they had no idea if they were supposed to pick the vehicle up or if they needed to find a ride home from work. They were treated very poorly all day on the phone when they had to keep calling this BMW dealership and asking about the status of their 6-day-old vehicle. I will never put my name on anything from a BMW dealership again. The car is beautiful. And Im proud of them for getting a new vehicle but a lot of things were stated that were not true. I do want to know that the back brakes were so low on the vehicle that when they took it in for service on Thursday they were told most of the day that they would not replace the brakes. But they did and that was very kind of them. We are really not happy with the service after we signed our names.
My husband and I recently purchased an x3 at BMW of Akron and worked with Justin who was very accommodating. We are not from the area so we had been working with Justin through email. He helped work up a good price and set us up with a time to come in and test drive the car before purchasing. When we got to the dealership, he had the car ready to go and after test driving it, Betty in the finance department helped us with the paperwork. The entire process was quick and seamless and we enjoyed our entire car buying experience!
I want to say thank you to all the sales representatives that helped me work out a deal on a $55k car. Thank you to the financial department for being so accommodating closing out the deal. I want to give my experience on how willing the dealer is to resolve an issue. I live about 2 hours away from the dealership so 4 hours round trip. After we close a deal on a very expensive car, drive the car home. I have noticed a bad alignment where the steering wheel is not straight during my highway driving. The angle was probably off by 3-4 degrees. Which shouldn’t happened since the dealer said an alignment was done before the said. I assumed that when a tech pulled the car in for an alignment,he/she never straighten the steering wheel. I messaged the manager and wasn’t happy with the solution that was given to me. Basically, in order for me to get this minor issue fixed, I would need to drive back to the dealership (4hours+gas+waiting).Taking my car in on 6/28/21, will update after the visit.I decided to drive to the dealer because the car was having another issue with vibration while braking. John was very helpful with setting me up with a loaner and resolving the issue. The only reason the dealer didnt get a 5 star is because this issue should of been fixed before I brought the car.
Just needed an oil & filter change and new wiper blades. The staff is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Got me in and out quickly, car was cleaned inside and out.Just had car serviced and as usual the staff at Akron BMW are excellent.ThanksThey did an excellent job getting my car serviced and back to me, it was washed and vacuumed and ready to go all the same day. 1-13-22
I have purchased 4 vehicles from Jay Auto Group. My last 3 have been BMW’s. I have always had a good experience with them until this time. I come from Pittsburgh to Akron because of how I was treated. This last purchase was for an BMW X6.The entire purchase was too much back and forth and the car was poorly detailed with dirty windows and foot pedals as well as other issues.My other cars were spotless.Also, the high beam light warning signal was on and they told me it was taken care of. Will think twice before my next purchase.
I went to BMW of Akron yesterday to test drive a 4 series convertible coming off of lease and I walked out with a new car. Eric Eisenhart is real pleasure to work with. I have owned 5 BMWs and I have bought 4 from Dave Walter/ BMW of Akron. My last was only 25 months ago. I have all my service work done there. I have been a very satisfied customer for 20 years.A update 2 years later. I went for routine service and had the worse experience I have ever had in 21 years of dealing with BMW of Akron / Dave Walter BMW.There was no communication after the video walk around. I called numerous times, left a voicemail and couldn’t get a response. I called my salesman and he went to the service representative and asked him to call me and left him a note. The SR then texted me that he was busy and would call when he had a chance. After 1 1/2 days I went to the dealership and stood in the waiting area until I was seen.Part of the service was basic tire rotation and balance. They didn’t reset the pressure monitor for the tires.When I picked up my car they had wiped out ALL the settings. It took me another 2 1/2 hours to get all the settings set.I would be very cautious about using BMW Akron for any service. They don’t seem to know what the are doing. Definitely not BMW standards.
We have used BMW of Akron for our last few car purchases, they are always helpful and friendly. As soon as you walk into the dealer you are always promptly greeted and you feel very comfortable. Our most recent experience purchasing our leased car was very painless and working with Eric in sales and Betty the Finance Manager was great. BMW of Akron should be proud to have them. Had my car towed here let them know it was coming on a Thursday. How them do 3,000.00 of work months prior had a good experience then. Yet this time I had to keep calling to ask what was wrong with my car kept getting the response someone will call me. After my dad eventually called someone finally called me to tell me it was done on Monday part was 141$ labor was 400$ 😑. I understand everyone is backed up now a days but just wish I was called the days prior so I knew what was going on with my car kind of felt like my business want important to them.
Brought my M5 here for service from the Cleveland area! The service drive staff were friendly and welcoming. The service department was prompt and friendly. Service manager, John LaValley and his team did an excellent job explaining the process and taking care of my vehicle.
Addressed every concern I had with the car. Many more important details of anything else on my vehicle that were in need of attention they informed me of. I like that I was taken care of in a very professional manner. I would recommend using them if you have a Bmw. They will treat you with the best care.
I attempted to work with a sales person by the name of Michelle on a BMW 330 GT. She was very busy that day which was totally fine. I asked her for the service history on the vehicle that I was interested in and I noticed that she only gave me the most recent service history and left off two years worth of service history. She took a photo of it with her phone. I requested that she send me the additional service history and she repeatedly ignored my requests. I then called my local BMW service department and gave them the last seven digits of the Vin number and they gave me some information on some work that was done when this vehicle was purchased by the previous owner which included a faulty drivers seat motor that had to be replaced and also an air conditioning line that had to be replaced. Both of these repair items were within the first 2,000 miles that the vehicle was purchased brand new and may have swayed my decision to purchase the vehicle. When I looked back at the photo that she provided me, you can tell that she may have cut that portion of the service records out of the photo intentionally. I again decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and asked for the service history and gave her an offer on the vehicle one more time and she ignored my request. I then texted her and asked if she no longer wished to sell me the vehicle and she again ignored my request. If you are to do business with this dealership in the future, I would never work with this salesperson. I buy and sell quite a few cars and I could have given them an awful lot of business. I ended up purchasing a car from a different dealership today that had no problem giving me the entire service history.
Great experience with Akron BMW! Rick was very detailed and patience in working to complete all needed paperwork and answering questions. Really showed his appreciation to my husband , a Veteran who has been a life long BMW owner. Thank you to all for your great customer service.

They diagnosed the problem with the hydraulic system and fixed it. Scrathed the top in the process. Happens. And without hesitation they commissioned the best BMW body shop in Northeast Ohio to make things right. Customer for life.
This is my first time purchasing a BMW and I must say, my experience exceeded my overall expectations.Went to dealership on Saturday to look at vehicle after extensive research. Met with Justin, test drove and made a deal.Went back on Thursday to pick vehicle up and do paperwork, which I typically cringe at only from prior experience, met with Justin to give the car a final look and then sat with Betty to finalize paperwork.Betty and Justin were truly amazing, kind, very detail oriented, patient and extremely professional.I am forever committed to BMW of Akron as it’s well worth the 50 minute drive to be treated with such respect.Thank you so much. Buyer beware. The low engine oil pressure light came on my X3 recently. Turns out this was caused by a defect in the timing chain module. This defect is part of a class action lawsuit. BMW Akron gave me an estimate of just under $6k to repair my car. Within 24 hours I got two estimates at 80% of this estimate.To add insult to injury, my car fell just outside the parameters of the class action suit even though I had only 85,000 miles on it. Called BMW of NA for some relief but was denied. Moral of story: if you’re expecting a superior experience with BMW, BEWARE!

My car buying experience was the most professional i have received in the last 40 years of buying vehicles from most dealerships in NEO. From the beginning, i believed what i was told. They accepted me sight unseen and created an offer i couldnt refuse. the salesman was great, no foolishness or un needed chatta. The finance manager was the best i ever experienced.. Offered me everything but demanded nothing. My wife and i was greeted when we arrived and was taken care of professionally until we departed.. I can not say enough great things about BMW of Akron. We had never bought a car out of state but Mark Lyon and everyone involved made it super easy! We had communicated over the phone and that day when we arrived we were shown the car and signed the papers. Such a fantastic experience from this dealership. I could not have asked for a better experience with BMW of Akron. When I reached out to them for an e-price I received the quote within less then a day along with a video of the actual car. When I stopped in to look at the car and test drive it I was immediately met while walking up to the showroom. I know most people would say of course you were immediately met, you cant get out of your car without a Salesperson running to meet you. However that is not always the case when you are a single women looking at cars, I was at another dealership for over 20 minutes and no one came to greet me. Needless to say I left and will never go back to that dealership. Mario Caliri took me out on the test drive and was very helpful and patient with all my questions both before and now after my purchase. I worked with a local dealer in Cincinnati to purchase a BMW with specific equipment options. During the closing of the deal, I was made aware the vehicle was already sold to another customer.. The next closest vehicle with all the options I wanted was in Akron. Within just a couple emails we were closing a deal. The vehicle was delivered to my home in Cincinnati on Monday afternoon. The process was quick and easy - just like it should be. I had watched lots of online videos and was very familiar with all of the controls and customizations of the new iDrive system. I had one option I could not figure out and a quick call to the dealership had a BMW Genius on the line and he walked me through where the settings where and how to customize the vehicle to how I wanted. Outstanding service and I highly recommend BMW of Akron.

They were also upfront and quick to find a solution when the original vehicle I was after became unavailable. The sales men/women here are great, I worked with Michelle and some others and they were awesome! Very friendly and helpful. The reason I give them a 1 star is because of their shady and untrustworthy finance manager Betty McKnight. Once I picked out the car I wanted and did my credit app, I followed up with Betty to see what my APR is. She told me a number, and then when I went in to do the paper work she told me something totally different. Vividly remembering the first number she gave me I called her out and she said “I don’t recall”. She also added protections on my car that we never discussed. She also never gave me a copy of my contract and told me I would receive something in the mail. I called the the place that gave me financing and they told me that the dealer should have given me that. She intentionally did not because she did not want me to see the protections on my car that she added. I would recommend going to another BMW dealer solely due to the lying and shady Finance Manger, Betty McKnight.Update: I then received a call from their operations manger claiming that he was trying to “help” me. He confronted Betty about the situation and she lied To him also, saying that everything that was added, I wanted.. which was false, I couldn’t tell anyone anything about the protection BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER DISCUSSED..I was a first time car buyer and the finance manager Betty took advantage of it.Update: Was given a refund for the warranty by the dealer after showing up to the dealership to request it.
I walked in the dealership and was introduced to Mario Caliri. From the beginning of our interactions he was very professional and knowledgeable. He walked me through the steps as well as answered all my questions. Of course you know the car buying experience takes some time but he stayed engaged with me so that eased the tension. Ive had my car serviced here twice since they took over from the former Dave Walter. There is a noticeable improvement in communication. The work is done right and the staff couldnt be friendlier. The only complaint is that it usually takes almost a week to schedule an appointment.Update: Due to the positive experience with this dealership, I recently bought another certified pre-owned BMW X5 last month. The salesperson Mark Stacey couldnt have been more professional and great to deal with. We were trading in a three year old Lexus RX350 and we started very far apart on the value of my trade. I honestly didnt think we could work a deal, but some good and calm discussion over a period of almost a week got us to where I needed to be. Really a friendly and low-pressure process and a great place to buy from.Update #2- Well the X5 Hybrid developed a problem with one of the high voltage batteries. Im a bit ticked that the replacement had to ship from Germany, but again, the service department came through and gave my wife a brand new (12 miles) X3 to use while it was in the shop. Although it took almost 3 weeks, they delivered the X5 back to us ahead of schedule.Finally ditched the X-5 and ordered a new 2020 loaded X-3 and couldnt be happier.
I can not be more thrilled with my experience with BMW of Akron this past week. First of all the dealership itself is stunning! From the moment I walked in the door on Saturday and was greeted by Eric Eisenhart I felt enormously welcome! Eric took care of all my questions and needs and my wants! He was patient kind and he listened! He is a great story teller as well. I was also met by Mark Lyon, The Sales Manager who went above and beyond to help with my shopping and leasing experience. When I returned to pick my new BMW up, Betty in finance was an absolute pleasure! How exciting to be able to find the perfect dream car and walk out with it being yours! At the very end my son and I had the pleasure to meet the owner Nathan Lacy! He too added to this whole experience by making us feel like “family”. A car buying experience is always stressful, but with all of the staff at BMW of Akron... it was a beautiful experience! I look forward to a lifelong relationship with this fantastic dealership!!! So for the people who dont want to read this entire review: If you ever have to buy a car from this dealership, never buy from Mark or Michelle.I bought a Certified Pre-owned a 2020 X5 xDrive 40i from those two well over a month now. For those who are unaware of what Certified Pre-owned means, its the golden stamp of approval that distinguishes these kinds of cars from your standard run of the mill vehicles. These cars are guaranteed to have 2 keys, little to no damage, and are extremely well kept overall.I was buying from California, so I was unable to physically visit the dealership and drive the car myself, so I had to arrange from a truck to bring the vehicle to my house. When I got the vehicle, not only did it only come with one key (No, the driver did not steal a key, I checked), but the car made a rattling noise so loud that Im amazed no one even questioned it when it rolled off the truck. It would make this noise even when just turning the steering wheel! After bring the car to a local dealership, they told me that the car was missing its front tie rods, and replacing it would cost them several hundred dollars.Naturally, I had to contact BMW of Akron about this. Unfortunately, Michelle was never available to take my calls and Mark had mysteriously vanished off the face of the earth. I had to get the receptionist to pass messages to them. After 2 weeks of on and off calling, emailing, and texting them, Michelle finally replied (And I mean the receptionist told me, of course), saying that she would send me the second key by mail. This was around about a week ago. I still havent gotten the key.Either this is an elaborate trick from BMW of Akron in an attempt to sell me a car that is very clearly not qualified to be a Certified Pre-owned vehicle, or this is a case of extreme negligence from the BMW of Akron technicians. Either way, if I could have it my way, I would want my money back. So for all the people reading this review, NEVER buy a car from this dealership and especially not from Mark and Michelle. And to the owner who is replying to basically every review, I really hope youre not an automated not and I really hope that you will help me resolve my ongoing problem.

Our 535XI is 10 years old and was purchased and serviced by BMW of Akron all for of these years. The service has been outstanding and Brandon, as well as the rest of the team of service engineers, has been nothing less than a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable about every facet of BMWs and have worked at this dealership for many years. The staff stability is excellent. The good news for me is that I am reluctant to trade in a car with 132,000 miles and runs like the day I bought it.
I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership over this past weekend and it was one of the best new car purchasing experiences I have ever had. My salesman Clevon was very friendly and knowledgeable and he really spent the extra time making sure I was happy with the vehicle before purchasing. When it came time to negotiate, there were no games and everyone was upfront and honest. I recently purchased a certified 5 series from BMW Akron, and although I have given a 5 star rating, that is primarily because of the work of my sales advisor, Brian Sutton. If it was not for him, and the intervention of the owner with the sales manager Mark, in finding me the car I ultimately purchased, I would not have purchased from this dealership. A mistake was made in the advertising of a 5 series that I was originally going to purchase, and Art, another sales manager, originally failed at trying to rectify the situation. As I stated earlier, after an email to the owner, and a call from Mark and Brian, they were able to locate an excellent car for me that met my specifications. Having purchased several cars through the years, I have certain expectations that I feel should be met, especially when dealing with a luxury-line dealership. Needless to say, there were a few instances in which this was not the case, however, the bright spot was the fact that Brian would assist in working through these issues with me. He is a genuine, down to Earth guy, and someone that I felt I could trust through this process, which at the beginning, was far from desirable. All things considered, I have the car that I wanted, at a reasonable price, and am ultimately happy with it. Thank you Brian!

I purchased a used X6 and was happy with both the vehicle and sales experience; especially salesman Mario. He was easy to talk to and I appreciated that fact that he wanted to send it back for further cleaning/detailing before I picked it up (it was recently traded-in). When I picked it up, I left my older X3 in for a transmission fluid/filter flush & replace. Then the service dept called and told me that service wasnt recommended because of the age of the X3. Its not typical when a business turns down money in order to do the right thing! Kudos!
I’ve had experience with the sales staff and the service dept. both are exceptional. For this review purpose I will focus on the service dept. I recently bought a used BMW out of state. I had a blowout on a tire and had to have it towed. I was worried that the car which still had out of state tags would not be given the same care as a car bought at the Akron BMW dealership. I found that I had no reason to be concerned. They helped me navigate the tire warranty. In addition they checked the car over and did other complimentary service. Most important they were in regular communication with me in regards to status of the repair. I was very pleased with the service dept at Akron BMW and would highly recommend them for service.

The moment one pulls into the service garage, a person meets you and starts the process of getting information about your car. I purchased a 2011 BMW from another dealership 60 days prior to having to take my car to BMW of Akron, and the gental man that I spoke with and handle the details if my car, Rick kept me informed of the issues they found. Some of the issues I knew about and the reason I took it in for I didnt know about, just know it was doing crazy dash board things.. My car dose have to go back in the near future. Out of the 4 BMW dealerships Ive had business with in Ohio, BMW of Akron has been the best across all departments. All staff members are extremely friendly and the managers were readily available. It has a very hospitable environment and amenities were exceptional during my visit.I will definitely return here in the future for service as well as potential purchases.
Update. I once had an issue with this dealerships They were very good about handling that matter and sincere, I believe, in not wanting it to happen again to another customer. They seemed sincere enough actually that although I bought a 7 series from another dealer out of town I started going to this dealership for service and I have been very pleased. They have extremely competent mechanics and both John the service manager and Jonah the scheduler were great John does an excellent job and I highly recommend going to this dealership.
We worked with Justin over the phone to arrange the purchase of a CPO BMW 528i xDrive from 2-hours away. Justin was off in the day we took delivery so the sales transaction was done with Eric.All great people to work with. The car was as described via email/phone. They did a detail of the vehicle while we waited and did a review of the technology.Overall a very good experience and we would work with Eric/Justin/Akron BMW again in the future.
Great experience at this dealership.Ive been looking for a BMW 1 series for a while and I came across one in Akron at a different dealership. When I got there and checked it out the car needed some body work. The dealership wouldnt budge at all on their price or acknowledge it needed work.I decided to look around in the area and found what looked to be a much nicer 135i with lower miles on it at BMW of Akrom. We stopped by and were immediately met by the sales manager, Mark. He asked me a couple of questions and knew the exact car I wanted to see. We waited in their reception area where we were treated great while they got the car from the lot.After the car pulled up, it was in great shape inside and out. No issues and a much better example than the other one. We went on a test drive with Justin, our salesman, and I asked a couple of questions. Justin answered them with ease.Afterwards we negotiated on price and I got a great condition 135i at a good price. In the future I wouldnt hesitate to go back to this dealership or recommend it to others.
We visited six other dealerships (Audi, Mercedes, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, Honda, and another BMW) and did a lot of research before we came to BMW of Akron. We had almost decided on a vehicle from another dealership, but wanted to check out one that BMW of Akron had listed. Even though it was late in the day, Mark Stacy met us and showed us this particular car. He was good about accomodating our schedules. In a few days, we owned that vehicle from BMW of Akron!Mark was easy to work with and answered our questions. The guys in the finance department were great to work with too. We received a great educational session on the features of our vehicle. Our only complaint was the sales manager ignored the wife when Mark introduced him to us. I recently had my X5 serviced. Its 18mos. old with 32,000 miles. John, the rep who took care of me, was very efficient in giving me a loaner as well as taking my info and getting me out in an expedition way. I was having an oil change, overall inspection and inside detailing. John called me later in the day and told me that my tires were getting close to needing replaced, but felt that I could wait until the first snow fall and see if I liked the way the car handled. If not then I could change them....personal preference. I really appreciated his honesty and felt like he was looking out for me and not just their bottom line! My X5 looks great and Im happy to have such a reputable dealership to rely on!!

I had an issue with my 2015 X3 that required immediate service. The service department was completely filled with work for the day. Brandon, my service representative, was able to get my car handled quicker than I expected and the service tech was able to identify and correct an issue that had been periodically occurring over the past few weeks. The service department has always provided quick and accurate work for my BMWs.
Couldnt be happier with my recent experience of buying my 3 series Diesel Sportwagon from BMW of Akron! Mario from sales and Betty from finance made the process super easy. As Im in Wisconsin Mario showed us the vehicle on Facetime and answered all my questions and mentioned the option of getting my vehicle delivered which for me was cost efficient and way more convenient! Our client advisor was Mario and our car genius was Harry. Both provided an exceptional experience and were the utmost professionals. We plan to schedule our encore appointment with Harry as well. Betty was our finance person and she was lovely in every way possible. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. We first met Mario on a Thursday and after hearing he was off on Friday we waited until Saturday to return because hes so great we couldnt imagine working with anyone else. It was a true pleasure to spend the day with him.My only less than enthusiastic comment is that Bettys office did not have the air conditioning on when we got back there. It was in the high 80s and humid, and that poor lady was stuck in her hot office almost the entire day. Only when I went to complain was it turned on, and thats not okay with me. I can only imagine how uncomfortable she was, with a blazer no less.
I bought my 335XI new in 2008, I take it in every year for service. My service technician Josh has been there since. He is extremely professional and helpful each and every time I come in. Although my car is now ten years old, they treat me no different than when it was brand new. Absolutely the finest, courteous and most professional people Ive dealt with.
Very disappointed in the new ownership. Jay Auto Group who does not care about customer loyalty. After buying 3 cars from Dave Walter my next car definitely will NOT be from Jay Auto Group. Over priced tires (no price match and about $500 more for same tires from competitors), reneged on free life time tire swap storage when I buy a car from them and would not honor anything Dave Walter promised. Good bye Akron BMW, I am going to another dealer who will take better care of me.
Saw a blacked out 535 in Akron, got in contactWith Brian Sutton. Just my luck it was sold.Brian stated that an inventory showed up that morning, so he checked and sure enough another one was there. Made arrangements to see it the following day, which was a 5 hr drive to Akron from Lexington Ky.Didnt see the vehicle when we arrived at BMW of Akron cause they were detailing it and doing maintenance on it.Dealing with Brian was truly a pleasure, I was trading in my Avalon, was happy with the amount they gave me for it, Simple enough.Then they brought out the 535, I was sold just by looking at it, test drove it, its truly the ultimate driving machine. Now the finance manager Betty McKnight was spectacularalso, she help up get a loan for 2.99% My wife and I felt so great about this whole experience .Thank You again Brian n Betty n BMW of Akron. Betty was very patient with us and stayed with us till the end, smiling and happy for us. My wife and I feel part of the BMW family, and Brian hope to see you in Lexington one day.
This dealership just gets it. I have driven nearly 2 hours twice to purchase cars from them. Both times were an absolute pleasure. Everyone you meet from the time you walk through those doors is friendly, helpful and attentive. Louisa and Skylar offered snacks and beverages or anything else we needed while we were there. Josh and Michelle helped us get our appointment setup just days before Christmas. Lastly Eric had a perfect car matching my specific needs detailed and warm for a test drive and Anthony stayed past closing time to make sure I had the best numbers as far as financing and warranties. I cant stress how great their team is, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a BMW.

My experience with Dave Walter BMW has been nothing short of extraordinary. I bought my first car from them two years ago, a 530xi and it was a great purchase. See Mark Stacy. The staff was VERY good to me working with me to get financed despite having a lower credit score. Everyone is extremely helpful and customer service is amazing. I always feel good leaving there. Took my BMW 6 series to them to get serviced charged 480 for a repair came to pick it up car wouldn’t startNever have I had a issue starting the car until thenThey bring it back in charge me another 150 for a diag quote me 980 for repair that was inaccurateBrandon Baxter service adviser I even asked him to check the gas to see if it was low he assured me he put gas in it and that was not the issue so I paid 150 for there 2nd diag 150 for a tow to take it to my service station to find out it was out of gas !!! No help at all
Megan did an amazing job. I am about 300 miles away from the dealer. Over the phone car deals can be a real nightmare. However, it was made very easy and the deal was very transparent. We arrived at a number in less than 30 minutes, the deal was complete just like that. They overnighted paperwork, I sent a carrier to get the vehicle. I called in for the parts and services information a few times and the staff in both departments were very nice and helpful. However, when I call into the main line Delany is not kind at all. She seem more annoyed that I kept calling to get transferred to the other departments. As the first voice of BMW I would think they would hold themselves up to a higher standard.
Simple, fast, no-nonsense transaction. Agreed to all the terms of the purchase via phone and email. When we showed up at the dealership, they confirmed my trade, completed the paperwork and explained the car to my family. Very well organized. The dealership understands how to treat customers and make them comfortable. Would strongly suggest that you call them when considering a BMW.
Brian Sutton was such a peach to deal with! We were over an hour away, but found the car we liked online. Called the dealer got him- we basically did everything over the phone and text and set up a time to meet when we could. He was easy to work with- got back to us promptly, and was just a cool guy! Even found he was originally from PA, too—BONUS! We are happy with our experience here. My husband is happy with his new ride!
Justin (sales) and Erik (finance) were really good to work with: good communicators, prompt, and accommodating. As an out of state buyer I cant say that about all the BMW dealers I have worked with over the last 3 months in my search for exactly what I was looking for. I am very pleased with the vehicle. Justin also helped me work with Michael Walker and All Four Transport to ship the car to the West Coast, and that was also a very good experience.
This was my first time working with BMW of Akron. I was extremely pleased. We had the pleasure of working with Brian Sutton. The original plan was to look around and visit other dealerships. My experience with BMW of Akron from first call to purchase and vehicle pick-up was nothing less than professional. I was pleasantly surprised when I had already agreed on a car and price and when I showed up the next day for delivery the Pre-Owned Certified car now had pristine wheels and new tires (totally blew me away). It was obvious this dealership wants to take excellent care of their customers.

The car leasing experience was wonderful, I loved having all of the cars with options available on a single page with the lease price. No haggling or bargaining was necessary! I am very happy with my experience with them so far. I was traveling from out of state from MD, to purchase a car I liked. I recently had my 550i xdrive serviced and really enjoyed the consultation process and their determination to make sure that the service department received detailed instructions on what I asked to be done. I had wheels replaced and new tires put on. They made sure to explain to me additional details that I was unaware of and understand exactly what I wanted to get done. They had a new x5 ready for me as loaner vehicle for the time being.The only reason that I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish that there was someone there when I picked up the vehicle to walk me through what was done instead of me just paying a bill close to $2,000 and given the keys
We shopped online at first for our first BMW and was contacted by Eric Eisenhart about the vehicle we had inquired about. After a few emails and phone calls, we drove the 1:40 to meet Eric in person at BMW of Akron to test drive and view the car we had inquired about. What a superb experience and what a pleasure it was to meet Eric (Eisenhart) and his wife Louisa, whom also works at the BMW dealership. What an excellent team they are!! My wife and I left the dealership with not only a great vehicle but also two new friends. Wanted to share a detailed review on this dealership.So, I was looking for a used BMW 4 series coupe but ended up buying a2016 BMW 3 series with the color being estoril metallic blue /oyster interior, the combination color I was dying to own. This came with an Msport package.I did shop around to see who had this color in 3 and 4 series. I drove all the way from Indianapolis to Akron to take a look at this car.This car was heavily loaded with all the packages and a low mileage couldnt haggle much on the price but boy the car is great!Manager Art - is a great guy worked with me on giving a nice deal on the warranty & service - appreciate that very much!!Other staff, Clevon, Nick & Betty were nice - quick to finish paperwork.Had some fun time with the BMW Genius - Brandon.Overall, I liked the people very much. Although I had heard poor things and read some poor reviews about BMW Of Akron, the car that I wanted was there so I took a chance. Big mistake! I had nothing but problems purchasing and was lied to. And the finance department was a mess! The first time I needed parts, a couple months after purchasing my car, the parts department Couldn’t find me in their system (even though I was told that anything I needed me and my car would be in their system and they would be able to access it immediately) I had to drive to my storage unit just to get the information they should’ve had available. The second time today trying to buy parts (Today) they still did not know who I was or have my information. He sounded like a young kid who laughed and thought everything was funny and told me I guess you have to go back to your storage and get the information. I highly suggest anyone and everyone go to BMW Of Canton, as I mediately called them after Akron’s ridiculous phone call. I think one star was too many but I had to click one to continue.
I’m in sales myself, so I reserve the writing of a testimonial only for outstanding service and it is of my own volition. After driving almost an hour to Akron at the behest of my client adviser (Mark Stacy), I was skeptical that I might be wasting my time. I had an expiring lease with 5 months left and with a wedding etc to pay for I was aiming to stick to my budget, was ready to downgrade my BMW. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2010. Eric Eisenhart took the time almost 10 years ago to convey his passion for BMWs. Since then I’ve bought four cars and have loved every one of them. The service department has been great to work with as well. I appreciate the included maintenance and free loaners as well.
I dropped in late afternoon the day before Thanksgiving expecting to be rushed out the door. The sales manager Art and my client advisor Mario could not have been more accommodating! I knew I wanted to look at A BMW X3 xDrive 30i. We found the right one. Friday morning, I came back and got it. I am happy with the car and the dealership!
Great staff. We started working with the parts department about a month ago. Kevin is an absolute breath of fresh air when it comes to solving a problem and ordering parts. Very nice and a true pleasure. We will be ordering and working only with this BMW location now and into the future.
I recently purchased a 2014 320I X drive.. Originally I had placed a buyers agreement on a 2003 Z4..I really wanted this car however, it continued to be postponed for pickup due to parts being on order and no clear time for delivery. Although they were apologetic, I decided against this car..My feeling was this car should not have been offered for sale until it was ready to drive. Overall, the staff was very friendly and accommodating..JT and Skyler were very nice and would recommend this dealer to friends
I was notified of a recall on my 750LI last year and the dealer followed up this year with a notice to bring my vehicle in for the recall inspection and repair. They called me to setup an appointment with a loaner vehicle, which made the experience more comfortable. My vehicle was ready at the end of day one which surprise me. My 750LI has been service at this dealership since 2010 and the service has always been excellent. I must say that my 2008 750LI only has 20,000 miles on it and whenever I take in for service, I always get great compliments on how beautiful the car looks
Recently purchased a new BMW X3 from BMW of Akron. The whole experience was fantastic. My wife and I were extremely impressed with Joshua Deluco and his knowledge of the vehicles. We have never had such a great car buying experience and plan on returning when in the market for a new car.
The Service department is great. Had an issue with a 335 and Brandon was very professional and helpful while we tracked down the issue. Nothing was wrong with the car, but I took it in just to check after a strange occurrence. They ran it through all sorts of tests but it turned out to be a glitch. Porters were very professional. Attention to detail and service was outstanding. Happy to have the car back and with the peace of mind.
It was a very positive X3 buying experience at BMW of Akron, including a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and very professional service from Mark Stacy in finding and pricing the right vehicle. And followup support from Clevon Nicholson in explaining the X3 features was most helpful. The car and its timely delivery were flawless. Had my X3 in for a sunroof seal replaced. The issue was handled, but it did take 3 days from the time I took my car in until pick up. I think ordering the seal was part of the process, but the seal should have been ordered when I made my appointment two weeks prior after being diagnosed by a technician during a ride-along. It seems the Service Department is always backed up, so I am not sure if having an appointment is even of value as this is not the first time this type of delay has occurred. Thankfully, I had a loaner vehicle, but either way communication on the progress of my vehicle could have been better as I did not hear from anyone until my vehicle was finished 3 days later.
What can I say other than if you are in the market for a new or used BMW you owe it to yourself to stop looking elsewhere and head to Dave Walter BMW. The level of service is exactly what you should expect and completely on par with the BMW brand. The sales staff is incredibly knowledgable and professional, no slimy used car tactics here. My experience with Michelle was extremely positive and I found her intuition to be invaluable. She took the time to learn what I appreciated about the brand and built off of that. She didnt see me the car she wanted me to buy, she sold me the car I wanted to buy. These are behaviors not often found in the luxury segment and ones that should be noted and praised. When it came to sign paperwork Shujaat was key. Not only was he able to find a financing plan that worked for me, but he and Rora in finance worked late to make it all happen. I found the process to be very streamlined and straightforward and the entire thing was explained to me in simple terms. I really did not expect my devotion to a brand to grow in such a way, but through such a high level of service and dedication it has. I love my car now even more than the day I bought it and when its time for another, Michelle will be my contact and Dave Walter will be my dealership. Excellent job to all and thank you again for the amazing service!
As soon as we entered the showroom we were greeted by the manager who instantly made you feel welcome! We decided not to purchase a vehicle there, but I wouldnt deter anyone from going there. Our salesperson didnt seem to care either way. On one hand it was nice he wasnt pushy but on the other hand he didnt seem very motivated to make a sale.

2022-02-07Amazing experience. Our sales lady was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. We were buying a 7 series car but ended up going with the X7 SUV. We normally handle our own finance, but they made it worth it to use their resources. Honestly, Great job all the way around!!

2022-01-15I bought a 2022 X3 M Competition (which is an awesome vehicle) and traded in an Audi S4. Negotiated the whole deal via email and text because I live 2 hours away from the dealership. It was WORTH driving 2 hours because BMW of Akron seems to get models other dealers cant get. Furthermore, Midwestern Auto Group BMW (which is only a couple of miles from my house) refused to come within $6,000 of the fair trade-in value of my mint-condition, low miles, one owner, all required maintenance at the dealer, never-been-in-an-accident Audi (which I bought from Midwestern Auto Group Audi AND it was my second one in a row). Akron BMW gave me a fair deal on the trade, the whole experience was great, and the people were a pleasure to work with. Next time around, Ill have no problem driving 2 hours to get a great selection and fair treatment. Ive purchased 5 vehicles from Midwestern Auto Group in the past, but there wont be another one. 2022-01-10My recent service experience was marked by a very welcome combination of efficiency and courtesy. The folks there were all very friendly and responsive. The service advisor, Ed, was very considerate of my time and provided a loaner on the spot. I also am impressed with the video from the mechanics eye-view with the technician, Austin, giving the status of brakes, tires and the overall underside of the car. They clearly know what theyre doing. In addition, the entirety of the staff displayed due diligence given the current surge of COVID-19. Im VERY happy with service at BMW of Akron and look forward with confidence to my next visit.

2022-01-23I knew absolutely nothing about this brand before setting foot in the dealership. Michelle treated me like a longtime buyer and was exceptionally thorough (and patient!) in all of her explanations. I got a fair value for my trade-in and everyone in the sales department was accommodating. They even held my vehicle while I waited for my house to close. This is a great dealership with very good people and my experience was first class.

2022-07-09This would be my fifth car buying experience from a dealer in my life and I have to say it was second to none from BMW of Akron. Even though I was out of state and a distance away they worked with me every step and made it easy to show up, sign the documents and drive off. I dealt directly with Mr. Eric Eisenhart who was a consummate professional and a great person to deal with. All their personnel were always pleasant, easy to get a hold of and even worked to get the deal done despite out of state documentation issues in my case. Even though I wasnt buying the fanciest car in their inventory they treated me like I was. I would recommend them to anyone.

2022-05-04I had a good experience here. Dealership got me in for service within 1 day whereas the place I bought my car didnt have an appointment open for almost 2 weeks. Service advisor and technician were very knowledgeable. Even got a free car wash and interior vacuumed which I appreciated. Will probably come back here for services in the future even though its a little further drive for me.

2021-12-01I have leased cars for the past 30 years, with the last 4 cars being BMW’s. The service has always been great and I love the cars. But my recent experience with BMW of Akron surpasses all of my previous experiences. I apologize to the individuals involved, but the service advisor that setup my appointment was awesome and efficient, wasting no time (I love that). The gentleman that picked up the car was courteous and professional….a pleasure. Ed (?) called to tell me my car was ready and to handle payment was….again professional and courteous. Then the gentleman that returned my car was, one more time, excellent, professional and efficient (read respectful of my time and his). Five stars are not enough.
