BioLife Plasma Services in other cities:
The lady checking levels this morning was very rude this morning. The temperature machine took forever to register and you could tell she was getting frustrated by it. The machine registered 94.9 and she proceeded to say thats what happens when you drink something cold right before you walk in. Little to her knowledge I didnt. Had to wait 10 minutes to get rechecked. She then snapped her fingers at me to call me up. Not very respectful or professional
I have previously give them 5 stars however I have to update. I have donated nearly 400 times. I understand being short staffed. But it is impossible to call, and being in the center watching employees stand beside the phone chatting while its ringing and not answering fir the simple fact of being under staff is not anexcuse. I try to schedule appointments online but it rarely works right. Fie example i havent donated in 2 months but when scheduling it says i cant donated more then twice in a week. I understand that but I want to donate atleast once. But I cant dote because nobody will answer a phone and its very frustrating when they act like they need your donations but cant answer a simple phone everyone and then. If it was only once I wouldnt leave this review but its been 2 years since they answered the phone after several attempts trying to call them.
Staff there is great nice people and they know how to do their jobs very well Im just very disappointed and the pay structure are the people donating their plasma most of the time its under a hundred bucks a week to get over $100 a week you have to have promotions even with promotions youre looking at only $100 a week especially when they can sell plasma for a lot more than what theyre paying us for it Im sorry but with gas being $4.50 a gallon or close to it it makes no sense for me to come to BioLife if theyre going to pay me less than a hundred bucks a week
Ive been donating for 3 years now, and I have never regretted starting. They made it fun and easy from the beginning (Id never donated anywhere before). Staff is kind and always remembers my name, so makes it feel more then just a donation when I go. Even when things are crazy, they are always polite and I dont feel rushed. Ive had issues with the app/being paid once before, but once they were aware of the problem, they were quick to fix it.
I was nervous on my first visit. I expressed this to Danielle. She was so understanding! I honestly really liked everyone there, I am just horrible renembering names. Everyone was friendly and I stopped being nervous. I really recommend this facility to anyone who wants to donate. So glad that I finally worked up my courage to go!
Some of the nicest staff on hand and very friendly.. Some go above and beyond expectations. The staff goes to make sure you are taken care of here from entering through the donation process. Ive donated over 1200 times and only a few issues. Usually have to request specific associates
Im updating my review since the last one was 4 months ago. Upgrading from 3 to 5 stars. BioLife, at least this center in Findlay, is getting better. For a while it seemed like every day was overbooked. Maybe they have more staff, but it isnt as hard to find appointment slots recently. Compensation is higher than it has ever been since I been coming. Love all the workers.
I been Donating for about 2 years now & never had an issue before today.. I Arrived 5 mins. late today for my appointment & this young lady refused to let me in to donate, but I was told by staffs once before that were allowed up to 10mins. after the time to be able to donate. But that didnt seem to be the truth today. However there was a man at the door at the same time as me that she allowed in & he was also was able to make a donation..How fair was that!! However she did allow me to enter to use the restroom.
Please be aware of the lady doing physicals. The lady removed my girlfriends applewatch from her wrist and dropped it. It shattered the screen and she claims the screen was already broke. Its okay tho, we are fine with replacing it ourselves, but these people are in the medical field. Think about it, If they cannot own up to their mistakes imagine the damage they can do in the medical field. Im just frustrated with DISHONEST PEOPLE.
Great Staff, friendly and professional. The building is always clean. Hannah is awesome, fast and efficient. Char is a go to for any question you will ever need answered. Highly recommend going here for a fast and easy way to make some extra $ and help with a great cause.......
I have coming to this location since it opening in Findlay. The staff has always been courteous, professional and welcoming. There has never been a time where i felt i was in an comfortable situation They regard donor health and safety with utmost urgency. That aside, they take the time to get to know the donors on a personal level and make them feel at ease. They should be lauded for going above and beyond in providing help to those who need the donated results of Plasma. I would love to acknowledge by name many of the great people i have encountered there past and present, but it would take way too much time, but Ryan, Hannah, Kyyla, Brihanna and Danielle are some of the best that have worked there.
Out if the 3 years that I have been donating, Ive always had amazing donation sessions. All of the staff have a friendly and courteous attitudes which makes a positive impact on my decision on coming back every week. The Findlay branch is also well organized and very clean. Plus I love what the cause is for. Definitely glad I started donating.
Oh, how I love Biolife in Findlay! I don’t even know where to begin...first and foremost, this is a very simple and great place to earn an extra bit of cash every week! I’ve been going to Biolife in Findlay for almost a year now and they have always been nothing, but great to me. They’re quick on their feet with customer service, even when they’re busy. Places of work get busy, it’s inevitable, but Biolife is one place that takes pride in making sure their customers are taken care of as quickly as possible. I have truly appreciated everyone I have met throughout my time here; I’ve even made friendships from just being a regular customer. The employees are always friendly, helpful, personable, and caring. I always enjoy coming to Bio. They truly take pride in their work and want each customer to have a satisfying experience! Thank you to Hannah, Danielle, Kylla, Trin, and Colleen (I’m sure there’s more that I’m forgetting) for always bringing a smile to my face when I come in and even a few good laughs. You guys are the best! :)
This center is fantastic!! Everyone here is polite and professional, with the goal of your comfort and safety being priority. The facility is always clean and welcoming as are every employee you come in contact with. Huge shout out to Cheyenne, Julie and everyone else, youre all awesome!!!
Yesterday I scheduled an appointment through the app as always. Since COVID there has been no play room so in order to donate I have to have a sitter. 40m of driving one way for an employee to tell me I cant donate because the system is down. You can go outside and wait in your car. I gave my number to call when I could return and never received a call back for an additional 1.5h until close. This has now messed up my days and now Im pushed out of the platinum.Ive been going to the Findlay branch for several years now. The veteran staff that are still there since Ive been going are abrasive including the nurses while the newer staff are friendly. Amber bruises me every single time Im stuck by her. Ive been wrongfully deferred by staff, passed/failed SPE and never received a call from the nurses I wouldnt be able to donate, as well as calls not being answered or returned. If you want to save a life by donating there are options and competitors, Grifols in BG is one. it certainly doesnt have to be through the Findlay branch.
I just completed the 8 visits for $1000 and I will have to be really hard up for cash to ever come back... of my 8 visits 3 of them I had problems, the1st time they had a leak in my return line that they did not notice till I was done, while they claimed they checking on us constantly, the whole time I was sitting they never checked!! The 2nd time they made my arm feel like they were trying to carve a pumpkin. The last time was the last straw they had my arm so sore and I evenctolf them that what they were doing hurt and they didnt listen and now my whole arm is black and blue
Ive been going here off and on for around 10 years now and never had an issue that got to me like this one this evening. If the hours of operation are different than normal than please cover or change the ones listed on the front of the building. Usually close at 7:30pm on Thursday but the time is currently 7:00pm. So I arrive at 7:01 to the door locked and now cant donate. Silly things like this can be avoided very easily. Frustrated, might call it quits for awhile.
Employees are always smiling and friendly and work great as a team. Trin’s High energy always positive personality makes each donation interesting and enjoyable. He’s very good at his job and I’ve never had a bad experience with his sticks, always successful and painless. Katie, Wendy, and nurse Bre are all also amazing as well.
Edited- I wanted to thank the staff (Karen, Hannah, Wendy, and Charlene) for being conscious about the worlds current health crisis and being awesome! The center is essential for providing life saving substance for medicines. I’m glad to be part of it.I have been to multiple plasma donation centers, and this center and staff are very friendly and efficient. They always do a great job. Wendy is always super nice and fast up front, and Trin always brightens up the center with his energy and makes your visit entertaining!
Ive been donating here for quite awhile now. Its quick extra money and you get to save lives too! They have lots of promotions on the app (that is super convenient) to get you even more cash. Highly recommend Jamie, Julie and Amber. They are good at their job and they might be my favorite 😁
I have found ALL areas of this facility very clean and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and professional.I have been to other facilities in the past where the employees throw litter (gauze, wrappers, etc.) on the floor in the donation area; it just overall seemed dirty. The staff seemed impersonal and I got the impression that their biggest concern was on the numbers.Ive seen the employees at Findlay biolife working as a team to keep the facility clean and organized. They provide a relaxed, laid back atmosphere while remaining professional at ALL times. I feel comfortable donating at the Findlay Biolife and would recommend it to others.
Horribly slow i could have held a sign for more money than the 1.5 hrs i had to wait stand g in line because they only had one color themed area open up. Also cant even schedule a week in advance because they have 1 or 2 colored areas open only. So its impossible to keep the platinum status. But... they pay new donors $1200 sounds like they pay for information to me. I do not trust them.
Ive been donating going on three years now and have had mostly a great to good experience overall. The staff is friendly. I like the fact that Im contributing to help people. So if you want and can donate plasma, I recommend you do it. You get to help people and you get a little extra money in return.
To bad there isnt a way to give less than one star or else i would. So for starters i have now been deferred twice by this location. Once for pain medication i was taking. Was told in order to donate i will need a letter from my doctor stating i no longer take that medication. No big deal i come back a few months later with said requirements no one knew what i was talking about there was no request for a letter in the system. Ok do theres one lie. On my second attempt i was deferred again this time because i have a shoulder injury. When i asked the so called supervisor to show me said policy that states a person with a shoulder injury can not donate he said he had to look it up. Lol if you have to look it up on a website then your policy is not legit. Sadly this is one facility i will not return to nor will i be referring anyone here.
Everytime I come in to donate they are always nice + so helpful!!! They take great care of you and actually know you by name! Kylla is always so helpful and we connect over sharing the same name. Noelle has been a long time favorite of mine as well. Highly recommend this place, they’re awesome and always so attentive!
Been going here for almost two years and never had an issue. Staff is always great and hospitable. This last time I went someone named hannah put the iv in and caused issues to where the machine stopped and it had to be adjusted by another phlebotomist. That being said Im pretty sure she stabbed the needle through my vain and when the blood was put back in went directly into my arm and not the vain. Ive had a terrible bruise down my forearm for two weeks and if I could figure out how to post a picture of it it would. Odd that I felt no pain within the first week but now Im feeling pain in my entire arm. Just a heads up for everyone out there. Ill try to post of their fb with a picture as well.
I have been donating for several years now and I really do enjoy the experience. The phlebotomists (specifically Amber E, Julie, Jim and Jamie) really do take the time to get to know you as a person. It’s not just simply an “in-and-out” movement of bodies. The care and interest is genuine and not just an act or condition of employment.
Went in for my first appt...thought I did everything that I was told to ensure I was good to donate! The 1st lady at the desk didnt smile and was really quite rude to me because she didnt know how to do the process, when asked when I ate I stated it had been 2 hrs since I last ate...the rude lady argued with me that it says to eat withing an hour &1/2 before coming in....it clearly states on the website to eat withing a 3 hr period before donating!! Now I dont ever wanna go back!!
Will not go back. After seeing several ads about the huge fees biolife was willing to part with for 8 simple donations I decided to go give it a try. No complaints about the staff whatsoever, besides the robotic demeanor all plasma techs have due to the huge patient volume theyre required to process.Apparently if you want to cash in on their coupons you have to have the coupon EMAILED to you after you set up an account on their website AND be a new donor. You. Couldnt just have the coupon, with the redemption code on it saved to your phone. WHO IS THIS COUPON FOR? The company shared this ad on Facebook and its only applicable to people who have an account with biolife AND have never donated before?? Is that set of people like 8 people total? The coupon said none of this, so you can assume how frustrated I was upon finding this out at the end of my donation that I would be receiving nearly 1/3 of the money that I thought I was getting. Other plasma centers give better fees and dont charge fees to access your own cash. Also there is a 2 dollar fee associated with moving your funds from the card to your own account, so for a whopping 3 hours of my time I left with 28 bucks and 5 cents richer and nearly a litre less of myself than what I came in with. I do not rate that exchange as anywhere near equivalent.
Great place to help save lives and get paid also! I have been donating for almost 14 years and just went over 1000 donations a few weeks ago. I walked in today and was greeted with a smile by Danielle. She did my finger poke and read my vitals. Then she sent me to the back to donate my plasma and again was greeted by Sara. I was seated in Ryans section and I asked for Trin to start my needle poke for donation. Ryan said no problem and went and got Trin. He welcomed me and we did some small talk while he prepared me for donation. He was right on the spot with the needle and I didnt even feel the poke. 40 minutes later Im done and Sofia came and unhooked me and asked how everything went and thanks for coming in. On my way out Mary Jo thanked me for coming in and to have a great rest of my day. GREAT job Findlay biolife for making me feel welcome as always! If you want to help save lives and get some compensation, come donate at biolife!
I donated 7 hours ago, still no funds and NO ONE WILL PICK UP THE PHONE. DONT BOTHER CALLING THE NUMBER, YOU WONT GET AN ANSWER. This is ridiculous, and this is not how it’s supposed to work. There are several employees standing around yet I still cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Wow
Been there a few times.Only once donated. They turned me down for my heart rate being too high by one point and when I was fine the second time was turned away for unknown reasons.Honestly employeemployers here suck. They can be very rude and dont seem to pay attention. Flustering.
Money is good, place is clean, MOST people are nice but theres a few that are completely rude. Those same people have no urgency what so ever.. You sit in the donor bed for 5 mins plus before they acknowledge you and even then slow poke around to get your labels. Mind you this is when they are not busy! If you need to be somewhere add on 30 mins to your donation time just in case you get THOSE employees...same people every time. Its like they are annoyed to be a work and are so cool acting that way. Me: waits 3 mins waiting for a section while staff stares at me.....employee: Do you want to take this donor? Other employee: Ehh....pause... *shrugs shoulders* I dont care.. Pause.. Pause.. Girl looks around... *mumbles* you can go here *points*
Good money, the employees are awesome, expect an occasional hiccup though, Ive had the computers go down in the middle of my initial exam and I got deferred for the day and Ive had mishaps with the needles that led to a blood clot in the machine that got me deferred for the day that wasnt even my fault. Mishaps are rare though, but kind of a pain in the butt.
They told me I have to wait 6 months and try again, just because they couldnt find a perfect vein in one arm, they found a great one in one arm, and a perfect vein in the other arm. The told me to lose a lot of weight too, I only weigh 250, when there are bigger people than I, who are supposedly good enough to donate. Dont waste your time going to Biolife, not worth it.
Would not allow my 10 year old son in room where they watch them because he was constipated. He is on medication which causes constipation so dont understand why this is an issue. Wasted time and gas for this ridiculous reason. I bet that if i was constipated they would still take my plasma.

2022-05-21Ive been donating plasma at BioLife for at least 16 years now. The people are great. The process doesnt take too long. Its an easy way to make an extra $100 or so a week. You get paid to help make medicines for other people; to make their lives better and to even save their lives so for me its a win-win.
