I needed a new recliner. Stopped in the Dublin Big Sandy Superstore. Travis was the salesman that greeted me upon arrival. He helped me find the right recliner for my needs. Travis was very helpful and not at all pushy. He made my purchase easy and I got a good deal. If you need furniture or appliances I would recommend you stop in this store.
Jean was our salesperson and was a delight ! She was very professional without being pushy. She explained everything about the chair that we were interested in as well as the financial aspects of the transaction. Soon after our purchase I received a Thank You note which was a nice touch. This was our second purchase from the Superstore. The on-hand selection of in house merchandise was incredible considering the wait time for items to be special ordered can be as long as several months.
Fantastic experience buying from Big Sandy Superstore. Highly recommend Bob in the mattress department. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and has great communication skills. There were minor delays d/t supply chain issues- however, Bob kept us up-to-date throughout the process. 5 star experience!
I ordered furniture a month ago. I was pleased with the sale, but where I became really impressed was when the delivery guys showed up. Gabriel and Brendon gave me peace that even though I was home by myself, I could let two men into my apartment. They were so careful and conscientious, and even helped me by moving a big chair so that the furniture would fit better.They made me want to buy from Big Sandy in the future!My second story is that my daughter had to have their dishwasher replaced this week, (it was under warranty), and I was going to be at her house for the delivery.When I found out that it was Gabriel and Brendon again, I was very happy! They remembered me, and we chatted easily as they worked to replace the dishwasher.The sales people at Big Sandy are great, but it puts a personal touch to it, when the men making the deliveries make us feel comfortable with them in our homes.Thank you Big Sandy for employing Gabriel and Brendon.
Do NOT buy from this furniture store!!! They delivered me a damaged table months ago and the journey to fix it has been even worse!! Continuously refuse to let me speak to a manager, never call me back when they say they will, constantly changing reasons for delays, and more! I even offered to swap my damaged leg with a display model myself and STILL I have not gotten a resolution! I have spent thousands furnishing my house and Big Sandy is single worst experience I have had.
This was a great shopping experience. The sales staff was very helpful and wasnt overbearing. There was a great selection and its clear what items are in stock. You can see the furniture is good quality. The prices and sales were great. Overall, Ill gladly shop here again!
We bought a Samsung appliance package for Mothers Day/Birthday.Our salesman Jason Baker was great to deal with and seemed very knowledgeable. He made sure we could get what we wanted and had in stock for a timely delivery. We had a great experience overall and will definitely shop here again.
I wouldnt even know where to begin. John in appliances is the best salesman Ive ever worked with. Not only did he get me to buy more, the value from the extra pieces led to much better deals and rebates. He did absolutely everything under his power to find, provide, or create savings wherever possible, even going so far as to look for open box deals for us that werent yet on the floor or labeled in the computer.The front desk staff was personable and friendly, very willing to walk me through pricing and how discounts apply. When I found a better price at another store they let me apply paid credit to a separate purchase for different items without question.Our furniture salesperson left a lot to be desired and we were left to walk around on our own, even after we asked for help, but at least they didnt hawk us the whole time.
While I am glad that I will finally get a replacement for the microwave that stopped working, I am not happy about the inaccurate information I received from the service department and the unnecessary trouble it caused. I purchased a full set of appliances for our new home with extended warranty on everything. When I called the service department about the problem with microwave (runs but does not heat), they told me it was not covered by the extended warranty. Manufacturer warranty on this was also not useful. I spent a lot of time with the manufacturer to get a reasonable resolution (though there is a 10 year manufacturer warranty on the part that is most likely the source of the problem, to actually use it would be more expensive than buying a new unit, and they refuse to send the part to me). The service rep at Big Sandy who placed the order originally told us that the microwave was in fact part of the warranty. I would expect the service people to know their policies better. I appreciate though that they eventually offered a free replacement. ****(Addition on July 20) I forgot to add: When a refrigerator was delivered, there was a dent on the surface. They offered a store credit (I believe it was $75) for that. However, we found out that we did not get the credit.
Iman is the best. Gave her the model number of the fridge I wanted and they had it in stock. She set up an immediate delivery and install since we were without a fridge for a while. Delivery team was great. On time, polite, and clean. Much better overall experience over Best buy. Best Buy a nightmare.
Jordan was very instrumental in our browsing to going home with a new look for our living room. Very competent in knowledge of product and construction advantages. Unusual for us to buy on first trip but ecstatic about results . Just became a Big Sandy disciple. Kudos to Jordan!
I had a great shopping experience but I specifically picked items that were in stock because I was moving and needed the furniture quickly. I was assured everything I ordered was in stock I even went there twice. On delivery day my couch was crushed so I only got half of that, no Ottoman, no chair, one stand instead of two and no dresser and mirror that went with my bedroom suit. When I called the store several times the girl Paula that sold me the furniture lied and said she did not say they were going to be delivered on time. I had a friend shopping with me both times and she knows as well as I do Paula said they would be all in stock and delivered on the same day. Very disappointing.
I went to Big Sandy for their Presidents Day Sale on a bedroom set and the FREE power lift upgrade on the mattress set. The entire ad felt like a bait-and-switch. The add said free upgrade, but it wasnt free. I still had to pay for the upgrade. The sales person told me my free upgrade would cost me $300. I searched the add to see what a mattress set was. No where in the promo did it mention box springs. The indication was the set included the mattress, and bedding. As it turned out, powered lift option was upgraded from the box springs which still had t be purchased then the remainder between them and the powered lift would be discounted off. After explaining to the sales rep that this deal was known as bait-and-switch and that it was illegal, he offered me a used floor modellift upgrade instead of a new model. So my FREE upgrade cost me $100 plus tax.
All my questions and concerns were answered. John was very helpful and showed us the options available, pointing out the differences and pros and cons of each choice. Theres a lot of variety in the store and it is very impressive and tastefully done. Quite a bit different from all the other competition
I was approved for an amount for a dryer but the guy I was working with thought I should go a diff route in order to be approved for more and he said it wasn’t a credit check it was a no credit needed loan, basically that it was in store financing that went off my income…. Well I took a hard hit on my credit dropping it 29 points. Then I picked up my dryer assuming it had all the parts in order for it to work but there was no power cord included so now they are all over me saying they told me but no they didn’t. The dryer has been sitting for 3 days and they keep saying they will call me back to get me scheduled for someone to come out. I bought the best warranty they have which states no matter what they will come out to my home but I’m getting the runaround. Terrible place! The location is on Dublin center drive! Do not give them your money!!!!
I really like the furniture I purchased (couch, table- spent ~$10K), but was SHOCKED that nothing was delivered covered or wrapped to give any protection while shipping. Unfortunately both items in my order were delivered with some damage (not unusable, cosmetic scratches and issues). I have been trying to get Big Sandy to come to repair or these items, as I feel that my order should have been delivered without any wear and tear, but their intake for damage repair is a nuisance. I tried to set up 2 work orders (through SEVERAL back and forths, and no real commitment). Then Big Sandy sent 2 people to my home yesterday for the same repair, but 6 hours apart!Overall I like my furniture. I hope it holds up. But I dont foresee myself purchasing from them again as they dont protect their inventory from wear and tear (so youll receive imperfect/damaged items), and I dont trust that theyll uphold any commitments or warranties on the furniture I purchased.
We bought our appliances and it has taken literally 8 service calls over the year. Once the repairman sent a text that he was almost at our house and I checked the map and he was at our old house. They installed our dishwasher without the bottom beauty cover and they sent a repairman withOUT the part. Then he walked into one of our bedrooms where someone was sleeping. Today my husband took the day off for ice maker repair. We confirmed via text and now we got a call that the part was not delivered to them and they want to reschedule AGAIN! The number of phone calls and texts is OUT OF CONTROL! I am trying to work. My refrigerator does not make ice and the water barely comes out. They said it was a pressure problem at first but a plumber said that’s not it and Big Sandy refunded us the plumber charge and here we are a year later and no ice or water! I’m so over it!!!!
Ordered Appliances through Beavercreek, OH store and had MASSIVE issues with delivery scheduling. Ended up talking to the store manager of the Dublin store (Traeva) and she got absolutely everything straightened out and was extremely helpful with it, in short notice. She is the only reason I did not cancel my order. Thank you!
My experience was great.I dreaded having to buy appliances but had no choice with the refrigerator. It was dead as a doorknob. My kitchen appliances are 37 ys. old and orig to my condo. I realized that they would be dying one by one and have to be replaced too. I went to Big Sandy with an open mind to buy just the fridge or replace all appliances. I wanted to look at scratch and dent appliamces to save some money.A gentleman by the name of Hani was my salesman. We looked at scratch and dent refrigerators but there was only 1 that would fit the 29 inch kitchen space and it didnt have the bottom freezer that I wanted.Hani suggested I look at a package rather than buy individual appliances. I was pleased with the Samsung package that Hani showed me and decided to purchase it. The price was very good for the products l. On top of that I will get a $330 rebate from SamsungI also received a $100 gift card for military discount.The store is so clean, well laid out and bright. It was a pleasure being there. In fact, after my sale was compleated I just enjoyed walking around the store and getting room decorating ideas.Thank you Big Sandy and thank you HaniBe sure to ask for Hani.He is very patient! Hell answer all of your questions and may make suggestions on a better deal for you..I certainly will ask for Hani if I am ever at Big Sandy and in need if furniture or accessories.

This was the first time I bought furniture by myself.She walked me through financing.She also help me look for an area. She was there when I had a question. She let me shop. She didn’t bug me.She was there when I had a question.
I went to Big Sandy’s Super Store a few months ago to buy some Furniture from them. I’ve haven’t had my couch a month before I started having problems with it. I called the store and explained the situation and asked for a replacement. They told me I would have to go through the manufactures in order to get it fixed. That they could not and would not replace it for me. Since then I’ve been getting the run around from customer service and my couch is still not fix. I WILL NOT SHOP AT BIG SANDYS SUPER STORE AGAIN.🙁
We have placed multiple orders with this store in the last 6 months. Every time there has been some form of deceptions or evasiveness when we have called to check the status of our orders. The last two times I have been assured a product was available, and would arrive within 10 days. Of course it doesn’t, and then the deceptive practices begin to kick in. In the end, my couch had a piece they’re no longer receiving from the manufacture less than 90 days from the time the order was placed. Our options were a refund and incomplete sofa, to accept a floor model at a barely reduced price or accept a piece that was stationary (we ordered recliners). Be careful with these folks. If it isn’t available in stock for delivery THIS MOMENT do not buy it from them as you will never see it again. And the way they seem to be doing this to everyone, you may not see your money again either as I cannot imagine they’ll be in practice this way for long.
My first time ever dealing with Big Sandy. As a home remodeler, my customer went there to purchase his appliances, we found out that I can set up a contractors account to get the homeowner a 20% discount on all of their appliances and we get 2% cash back as a contractor. If you have not heard of this deal, stop in at The Sawmill Rd store and talk to Iman Shalash. She is absolutely wonderful to deal with. My customer found everything that they needed in high-end appliances and they made it super easy as a contractor.
We originally purchased a Tempur-pedic. After deciding to trade to a Beautyrest, we received the wrong sized bed delivered not once, but twice. Finally, we received the correct bed (after many weeks of delay), and it is sewn with imperfections along the pillow-top, making it defective and likely to tear. We contacted Big Sandy MANY TIMES asking to speak to our sales person, but Dan was never available and never returned our calls. We were promised a call from management- but that never happened either.Very disappointed. We do not recommend this store.
They use horrible contractors to install your appliances. During installation of refrigerator, they dinked my brand new oven. Delivery person said that oven was dinked even before and have a proof of picture. I asked the delivery person to show me picture, he said he cannot show the picture. We literally just closed on the brand new house and verified all of our appliances multiple times.. I did not argue with that person and wanted to talk to big sandy customer care.Delivery person not only he did not ask my signature for delivery and he signed my signature himself. This shows integrity of the delivery person.Other observations, both the delivery persons were dirty and left lot of stain marks on the newly painted wall . They did not wear any disposable shoe cover and entered my house with their dirty boots.Edit - Updating the review to 4 star since Big Sandy worked with me and replaced the dinked oven door. Service department was breeze to work with for my replacement.
Alot of great furniture amd not crazy busy on weekends which surprised me made my experience alot better since Im a hate to shop on weekends kinda guy. Wife dragged me out and a pretty cool store. Has literally everything for a house. Dope AF deals on scratch and dent fridges which where super cheap compared to normal. Plan to purchase our new fridge from here very soon.
Great experience with John Barton, Manager. He was very friendly and helpful in selecting my LG InstaView refrigerator. Looking forward to using the Craft Ice. I spoke too soon. After purchase customer service is poor. John assured me he would call me after delivery, that didnt happen. When I started having problems, he disappeared and didnt return my calls. Initially, water and ice cubes had odor and bad taste. Finally, in April, the water hose was replaced with plastic hose. Problem solved because of friends advice. Now, I need an icemaker replacement for craft ice, which is on order. However, since then, my dispenser isnt working, so I dont have ice or water. And no one seems to care that I paid for a fridge working in full capacity and thats not what I am getting. Asked about getting a new fridge and that wont happen as long as the parts can be replaced. Doesnt matter that I am using tap water and dont have ice. Spoke with Trava, Office Manager, today, without much assistance. She gave me the Corporate Office number upon request, but was irritated about my frustration, even though, I was nice and wasnt blaming her for my situation. Further, didnt bother to tell me Corporate Office was closed today. Definitely, would not recommend this company.
The person I worked with really didnt seem like they knew too much about anything they had to keep going and asking the manager and they just werent very helpful I couldnt find what I was looking for. I left I went to value City told them the exact same thing the guy showed me exactly what I was looking for help me wrote me up I paid for it and was done. Maybe it was just me but I definitely was not impressed
So to begin with everyone at Big Sandy is extremely friendly and means well. Some even go above and beyond in their attempts to address the issues Chris Burton one of the managers would be a great example of awesome customer service. BUT!!!! The company doesnt communicate well within itself the service team and the sales teams. I purchased a washer and dryer set with installation and 5-year warranties on both. The Dryer failed after 4 days because the installation team didnt trim the vent hose blowing the thermal fuse. (The repair was estimated to take about 2 weeks) The washer has an optional GFCI grounding kit that the store doesnt sell nor are they aware of. When the washer starts it trips any and all GFCI without it. When the service tech came to fix it he was fully aware of this issue (the store was not) so the only way to use the washer was to remove the GFCI outlet making the room not to code. Long story short eventually Chris Burton who is the angel of the story agrees to just exchange the washer and dryer yay!!!! We had them installed yesterday the installation team didnt take the time to balance the washer... So someone is coming tomorrow to do it properly... Long story short they need to stop outsourcing installation and delivery and work on their internal knowledge management if they expect to keep a high level of customer satisfaction. Good people, good company bad internal communications. I would go to another store in the future at least as long as I was sure this was still a problem.
Josh met us as we entered. Told us where to look for the chairs we wanted. He explained things in detail. Then left us to look around. When wr found the chair I wanted, we found him and he took great care ofExcited that I can get the chair in a weekWithin the first month there was a loud noise which the repairman said was caused by a glide wire not properly aligned. Within the next month the seat was leaning to the right, the cushion had shifted and needed to be replaced. Took a month for this to happen. While repairing a electric cord was stripped from the motor. Tried to repair but not working properly and very uncomfortable. Had to order a new motor. So after 3 months I am in a worse chair than the one I replaced. The store tells me they can’t replace the chair. They will try to get a motor quicker. Needless to say i am very unhappy
11 months ago Big Sandy impressed me with their customer service and I left a 5 Star Review. Today it was quite the opposite. We had purchased furniture over Memorial Day Weekend but the Sales Lady charged us the wrong price on two items. We did not notice the mistake until later but when we asked for a correction (before delivery of the furniture )Big Sandy Customer Service refused to give us the correct price. They just STOPPED listening to me. I dont like being ignored so I canceled the whole order. It is too bad because I really did like them. Im really disappointed in them. It feels like they got their money so theyre done.
Fine except for the fact Im going to have to wait 4 months to get the furniture I want......correction it took 5 months to take delivery on my couch and the chair has still not arrived. When I placed the order I was told it might take a while to receive it. I took that to mean 3-4 weeks, maybe a month. If you cant deliver a piece of furniture for 5 months TAKE IT OFF THE FLOOR! My advice to anyone shopping here is run away.
OK I deal with Drew McDavid And I can’t speak on enough how wonderful he was I have had bad experience at four other location stores that was Home Depot ,Lowes, And the list goes on but AnyWho I was able to buy a washer and he was so wonderful he made sure the sale went smoothly so I would definitely be back to do my business here
I had such an amazing experience here the other day. I was in need of a couch quickly due to the medical situation with my mother. I was also picking up a bed I had purchased at another location. The person helping me was able to find me a couch to be delivered in only a few days and kept it on my budget. He was so friendly and really made my situation so much better, which I needed with all the difficulty I had finding a couch over the last couple of days. DONOVAN WAS AMAZING AND DESERVES A RAISE!
We actually had a good shopping experience and arranged to call back the salesperson to complete the order. I called the store more than an hour prior to the close of the store and left a message but did not get any response. I also reached out by sending a direct message. I really needed the lift chair in a timely manner by Tuesday, and am very disappointed tonight.
DO NoT ORDER ON-LINE FROM THIS COMPANY! If I could give negative stars for this company I would! I ordered a bed frame 411 days ago and have been jerked around every time I call with false ETA’s and mixed messages about compensation for all this wasted time. Since this was a “special order” which it does not state in my invoice and was never mentioned until I asked for a refund they told me, they can’t refund it.Finally today I was told they *might* be able to depending on what the manufacturer says. The updates have been stupidly vague “we are keeping an eye on your order” but with no dates. When asked again today about how they would make this right and keep us as a customer the guy said he didn’t understand my question. I will never recommend this company after this experience.I have been an extremely patient person, as I know COVID has messed stuff up shipping wise, but I have ordered from other online retailers where the stuff is coming from overseas and gotten it in 4-6 weeks no problem.Today, however, was the last straw for me being patient and understanding. It feels like I have been scammed as they took full payment and have only been feeding me false info ever since… BEWARE!
Well I’m not surprised but disappointed…. I just spent 20 minutes wondering around this store while 4 workers sat chatting and completely ignoring me… I even stopped to take a photo of a “sofa” so I have proof of them just sitting there… I am now in the parking lot not one of them came to help… big loss for them.!!
It was our first time in a Big Sandy Superstore, we went specifically to try out a purple mattress before buying one after finding out we could. Frank helped us in the mattress department, he was super nice, personable and very knowledgeable. Offered us some discounts on the adjustable bed frame, mattress protector and sheets we bought for the purple mattress, glad we paid attention at the checkout counter because we wouldve lost out on a couple hundred dollars of those discounts as well as our the Veterans gift card had we not noticed they werent applied properly. I would shop there again someday.
All the salespeople were so nice and Big Frank, specifically, was such a great help! It was my first time there. I was looking for washer/dryers, mattresses, and furniture for a new home. He was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things to me and compare products. All three of the front desk ladies were great too. Exceeded my expectations.
I hate dealing with pushy salesmen. I found the fridge I wanted online, found it in their showroom and grabbed a salesman. My name, number, and addy were already in the system. He offered, but didnt push the extended warranty (waste of money in my opinion.) He rang me up, I ran my credit card- whole ordeal from front door to leaving took no longer than 15 minutes. Fridge was delivered three days later, delivery guys were friendly and careful.At first I thought the $119 delivery fee was a bit much, but when the salesman told me for just an additional $20 they would haul away my old monster, i was sold.
Working with Barbara was so very pleasant until it came about giving us an accurate ETA for our couch. She knew everything about everything and was just so kind and helpful. I only gave 3/5 stars because the couch we bought was not in stock for 3+ months. It also seemed that we were lied to about when we would get the couches so that the sale could be made. That being said, if you can afford to wait, the selection here is quite vast.

I have had a very good experience with Big Sandys sales associate Barbara Foster. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable while shopping for a sleeper sofa. Barbara gave me the information I needed while I went to other stores to compare. Her tenacity to actively listen to my needs and find the options I wanted stood out as I continued my shopping at other retail stores. Finally, after considering all my options, I came back to Big Sandys to place my order with Barbara.. This was my first exposure to Big Sandys and after todays experience with Barbara, I will be coming back again for my next purchase.
2018 - Fred was very helpful. Very knowledgeable and polite. A great experience. They have a great selection of products to cover all your preferences and needs and help you find the right one for you, without a hidden agenda. We will be back.Update 2022 - Four years after we bought our mattress, we had an issue and they took care of it right away. Excellent customer service.
Don’t expect any customer service from big Sandy’s. Whatever you do don’t buy KitchenAid products. I purchased an entire kitchen of KitchenAid matching products . Five different ones to be exact and paid cash for the entire purchase. They were running a rebate that if you purchased five you received $500 in the way of a visa card. In less than one year the refrigerator quit working. I could go on and on about all I had to go through and how long I had to wait, how long we had to eat out due to losing everything in the refrigerator. I was told it was a good idea to have two in the event that this would happen. I was also told that regardless of how much I lost they were only willing to cover $100 of that expense. To top it all off they finally delivered a second refrigerator and guess what it stopped working… So they say the third time’s a charm I am on my third refrigerator. When purchasing these from big Sandy in their kitchen inspired section we were told that we were buying high-quality appliances. Almost at The top-tier that you could purchase. Because we kept going to refrigerators and the rebate was for five appliances we held on to the rebate card and never activated it not wanting to have to pay back the $500 if we ended up having to purchase something else. That was also something that was presented to us to do because they were having so much trouble with the KitchenAid refrigerator we purchased. We elected not to do so because we wanted all the appliances in the kitchen to match. Very very long story short once we received our third refrigerator I called to activate the visa rebate knowing I would not have to return any of the $500 if I used it. I was informed that it had expired even though I had never activated it and they could tell it had not been activated Or used on anything. I tried going through Both KitchenAid and big Sandy. That in itself was a run around of being transferred from one person to the next. To make a very very long story short The bottom line was that there was nothing could be done To Grant us the rebate that we had earned. As the customer who already had to deal with three refrigerators before they could come up with one that would work, the time off work, the aggravation, The added expense and stress it cost us to purchase three meals a day out and lose all the food that we had already purchased I am blown away that they could not follow through with their Rebate. After all, I think we more than earned it between the cost of KitchenAid and a headache this has all been. we were not asking for anything that they had not offered and we haven’t earned by meeting their qualifications. I would have expected Big Sandy to go to bat for us and make this right. I will never purchase from Big Sandy or KitchenAid again. Once Big Sandy has their money They are done with you, no customer service at all.
Alex was great. He was informative and made certain the dishwasher I bought was deliverable in my desired timeframe. He also was very patient while we looked at multiple appliances. He referred me to the appropriate salesman for a different department when I had questions about mattresses. The process was quick and easy.
I have never given a bad review but hands down the worst customer service and consumer experience of my life. If I went somewhere else and paid double the cost of every appliance – it would have been a better deal considering all the extra time and damages that have occurred during this transaction. Quick rundown: 02/16/2021, I paid in full for 4 appliances. During delivery my walls were damaged so badly I had to re-plaster and paint the whole hallway. Each appliance was dented, significantly. There is glorious footage from my Ring doorcam of them dropping the appliances in the doorway. Most notable, they didn’t use the stainless-steel water line kit I paid $49.99. This accessory is listed as necessary for the installation process. The delivery team choose to use the old water line. This led to my home being flooded. An entire ceiling had to be fixed. It took months of significant documentation of damage, and the delivery team coming out to “fix things” before they finally paid a contractor to fix the damages. I also had to work with the BBB. Big Sandy was no help and stated they are separate services but would replace all the damaged doors. Well now, onto fixing the dented doors the never ending task. It is December, purchase was made in February. The dented appliances are still not replaced. There have been FIVE attempts to fix just one of the doors. THREE TIMES they tried to install the wrong door and only realized after unpacking the box in my kitchen. Delivery process is not friendly, at all. You are given a day to be home for delivery. The night before at 8 PM (if you are lucky) they might give you a 4-hour window. Sometimes they don’t tell you when and sometimes they don’t show up. At this point, I almost find the new and different ways they dont complete the job slightly interesting the other stories are amazing, but off topic. If you try to reschedule the delivery, then it’s another month long wait. The other parts they “replaced” (4 total to the fridge and dish washer) were all dented and damaged – I’m guessing someone else’s dented property. Big Sandy is great communicating too. They won’t give you documentation of your work orders, they don’t e-mail, they won’t even give you their name if you ask who you are talking to. Like, Big Sandy is so bad that in comparison student loans providers seem competent, friendly, knowledgable, and in general an enjoyable experience. If I had a truck and bigger muscles, I would pack up all the appliances and drop them off at Big Sandy and ask for a refund. I’m inherently a people pleaser so I hope you read and consider the only bad review I’ll probably ever give in my life.Update: On 1/22/22 Big Sandy said they will exchange the fridge for a new one. I was so excited and hopeful for this ordeal to be over. Big Sandy got me again though! Such a trickster, I actually believed them this time. The new fridge that was promised (in writing by corporate) was actually a defective fridge with scratches and dents. Shaking my head... The joke was me, I am a joke for believing them.
I worked with JJ at this location. I want to thank JJ for taking my needs and wants into consideration and helping correct the issue with the wrong couch color being delivered. JJ helped me pick out a alternative couch in the color I wanted that better suited my needs, due to the color of the original couch I wanted not being able to come in for a couple months. I look forward to coming back and working with JJ when the time comes for my next purchase.
Today I went in for the Black Friday deal 15% at Big Sandy. I was referred to Griffin Lundberg, a furniture sales professional there. He was amazing! I was looking for two recliner’s that didn’t hurt my back and knees. I had never tried a power recliner before. He recommended I tried one with lumbar. That was the most comfortable recliner I have ever sat in; I bought two of them! Griffin is a terrific sales person. He is energetic, kind, cares that you get what you need, and most of all knowledgeable about the furniture at Big Sandy!! BEST SERVICE EVER! Thanks Griffin!
I got there salesman didn’t even ask us our name nor did he really know anything about the product or any other products he was selling didn’t know the laundry pair came and white and the price difference I’ve worked in sales and I was trained properly to sell this guy isn’t but they had the items in stock and it was a good deal there fore I bought registered pitched the service plan all he said was there’s a lot of electronics on it that’s all he knew felt like I was at wal mart because no one knows anything there but they have good prices.
Very smooth and customer friendly process. We called the store looking to purchase a mattress that could be brought home the same day. I spoke with Salesman Bob and he said there were a couple of options to choose from and he was very patient and willing to answer any questions. After speaking with Bob we headed to the store and what he stated on the phone, was exactly what they had, unlike some places that just say they have an item, only to get there and they don’t, so they try and sell you other items and waste your time. We were able to pick up a nice brand new mattress in a timely professional manner without any delays or set backs.
Please do not buy anything from this store. If you do you will be very disappointed with their communication. I know that the supply chain is bad right now and things take longer than expected. However, when I purchase 4 items that arrived at all different times and I got ZERO phone calls that they did it’s a big problem. Not to mention the last piece that showed up they scheduled it for delivery all on their own. I had no idea until I got a message saying it was scheduled for a certain day. I will NEVER purchase anything from this store or any other of their locations again. I hope that my review can steer others away from them too. The public does not need the kind of terrible customer service this store provides. If I could give it zero stars I would.
The people are so nice and willing to help me find what I want I want to thank Martin personally he helped me find what I wanted and bought I wouldnt think. I was shopping for a refrigerator-freezer and had a general idea of what I wanted. The salesman approached me quickly, listened to me, and took me immediately to look at several. We discussed price, sales, inventory. I selected an appliance that I am happy about. The paperwork was easy--he explained cost, warranty, installation, and removal of the old appliance. The whole session took about 30-45 mintes and there was no pressure. I have not shopped at Big Sandy before but definitely will return when I need furniture or appliance.
2nd EDIT: The tech came to replace our center console yesterday due to it being damaged when we received it. Once he left we realized they completely ordered the wrong part. Now we have to wait AGAIN for the 3rd time.. this place is literally the worst furniture experience Ive ever had.. dont order from here. Weve had problem after problem..EDIT: if I could give this place 0 stars I would!! We just received our loveseat after waiting months for it. When it arrived, the center console bolts were completely stripped out and there were deep scratches in the leather. For the price Big Sandys is asking for this furniture (FLEXSTEEL) and the quality weve received with not one but BOTH of our couches being broken when we received them. I Will NEVER buy from here again. We spent $6,000 dollars on what we expected to have top of the line quality. You would think they would make a bigger effort to refund some of our money for the headache especially since there is no solid time frame for repairs to be made, it could literally be months before they get our couches repaired.. Spend your money elsewhere!We bought a flexsteel couch and loveseat. The couch was delivered today and after they left and I sat down to recline, I noticed the recliner was getting caught while reclining and putting back down. I called and they set up for a tech to come service the couch but the soonest they could come was in 3 weeks.. I give 3 stars because this is a top of the line couch and there should not be issues with it for what the cost was. Also for the delay in service tech for repair. Hopefully they can fix the issue.
People there are personable, helpful and very knowledgeable. Were going to go back and purchase a king bed and a sectional without the corner piece. Didnt know you could get a sectional without the corner as well as the cupholders part of it either. Well be purchasing 2 couches that can be put together and its money off. You get what you pay for and want. Wife and I actually loved it!
The salesmen were great, David and Martin. Thats why 3 stars. They recommended products based on my needs and I felt heard. There was no pressure to purchase things I didnt want. The only issue I had was during checkout during financing. They run your card several times. They run your card for their store and the finance company. I had my card run back to back 3 times. My bank called while I was swiping and was flagged for fraud by my bank. I had to verify it was me. I suggested they warn customers before even getting started that you may have to run your card multiple times PRIOR to. You cannot pay financing in cash. I was not informed of this. Also was charged taxes on a warranty, not a product, the actual warranty. 🙄 Sara not the friendliest person and unfortunately shes the manager (I was told). I referred my parents to the store for a washer & dryer only for the he service Dave and Martin provided and pricing is low but for any other reason I wouldnt recommend.also I was not told about the clearance section for appliances. There is a huge section in the back near the TVs for floor models at discounted prices.Just a few tips, apply for financing on their web site prior to heading to the store.Ask lots of questionsNotify your bank that youll be making multiple purchases in a row so your account is not flagged.
Extremely happy with my experience today, have been to other locations and left disappointed. Went in search of a specific bedroom set and was happy to see it was available. I was met at the door by Barbara, and was happy to meet with a real salesman! She was phenomenal! Also bought a purple mattress from Frank. Both made sure I got the most discount available, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted! Extremely great experience! If you want to shop big Sandy, Dublin is the best location, and if you want furniture find Barbara, if you want mattress go find Frank! Thanks to both!
We purchased a power lift recliner and had the best experience with the salesman Jack Johnston. We missed a sale but he made it work for us and gave us a great price. He was listening to our needs and was able to make us feel like valued customers. We purchased our adjustable frame beds through this store a few years ago and we found the sales person was professional and knowledgeable about the products. Highly recommend, great selection, great customer experience.
This is the second time I have had good customer service while in the store and upon pick-up after purchasing from Big Sandy. Josh was a great consultant, and never hovered while shopping. Allowed us to go home and think about it and call the next day to purchase over the phone since I live so far away. Great quality for the price and things ship really fast compared to other store right now. Will go back to Big Sandy for future purchases!
Coffee tables arrived 3 months after I was told it was supposed to arrive and it had missing parts. That’s fine, things happen. As a small business owner, I’ve made mistakes as well but I always find a way to make it right to make it up to the customer. Excellent customer service makes it right. You figure it out. Telling the customer, sorry we can get the missing pieces in another month isn’t cutting it . The best companies like the Ritz Carlton , Marriott , etc pride themselves on customer service, which Big Sandy is clearly lacking.
Very nice place. They have a large selection of high end furniture, and they have fairly priced more affordable furniture in the clearance section. Our salesman, Jordan, was very laid back and didnt push us into what we werent ready to buy. Even after our purchase, hes still only a text away if we have questions.
I want to start off by saying Big Sandy in Dublin is the bomb, from the customer service in the store to the girls that answer the phones to the delivery guys. We love our new furniture. But most important I want to shout out Duwand and Nick the delivery team you guys rocked it! You two were very professional and efficient. Great job Big Sandy🥰
The selection was very good and the prices reasonable. Every furniture store is experiencing logistical delays with COVID but Big Sandy had enough in the warehouse that we were able to schedule deliver in 5 days. Our compliments to Jean, the salesperson. She greeted us but gave us a chance to browse until we were ready to talk about our interests. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. She worked with us to identify our needs and how we could best meet them. When we were ready to buy, she made the pricing and purchase process easy and set us up for delivery next week. We had a very good experience.
Your sales person, Daniel Pettrey, and display room were very helpful in our selection of a new king-size mattress. The delivery people, Cornell and Jeff, were both polite and helpful. Unfortunately, they did not locate the box springs properly on the bed frame. Since I am 78 years old and recently had a heart attack, I will need it corrected asap.
First time in a Big Sandy store. Very impress as I was greeted and directed to department I needed right away. Sale person was very knowledgeable. I didn’t feel any pressure to make a purchase however they had just what I was looking for at a fair price. If I could give then ten stars I would.
This was our first time shopping at Big Sandy Superstore. I gave our sales person, JJ, a description of what we were looking for in a sectional. The store is huge and has so much furniture so it was great to have someone show us around. JJ took us right to one’s that fit our needs. We were able to pick out a sectional within minutes. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.
Came in to look at refrigerators as our current one gave out on Sunday. Jason Black was the sales professional we worked with. He was a great help. Purchased one while we were there. Great experience with Jason. The 5 year extended warranty was the difference. Thanks Jason! Have a scheduled delivery for Friday.
Horrible experiences. Over a year ago, I spent over $6000 on new appliances from this store. We paid for delivery and installation from the store. The installers dented and scratched 3 fridge doors, broke the dishwasher door, damaged several walls on their way in, and didnt hook up the water properly so the fridge leaked all through the floor in the kitchen and finished ceiling below for about 8 hours. After hours and hours of phone calls and arguments, 6 different days weve had to take off work to be home for the repairs, we have a poorly refinished ceiling, poorly aligned new appliance doors, and are still waiting to get one final door replaced. Theyve brought the wrong parts with them for repairs on three different occasions. I would highly recommend staying far away from Big Sandy, as both their store and corporate customer service has put loads of undue stress on us.

Well the visit to the store went well. We were greeted and treated respectfully. After we made our purchase and returned home my wife found a flyer from Big Sandy with your Memorial Day sales. She had questions as to whether we received the stated savings and called back the store to check. Another sales person took her message and said they’d have our original sales person call us back. That was over an hour and one half ago. Obviously we expected to be contacted sooner.
We had an excellent experience buying our washer-dryer-bundle. The sales staff were very knowledgeable, pointing you to the machines that best suit your individual needs. Absolutely zero pressure to buy. This was my 2nd purchase from Big Sandy Superstore and would refer a friend and return if my needs were to arise.
Found the recline love seat we wanted quickly with the help of the sales representative. It was not the brand we believed we wanted but after evaluating the choices we found exactly what we wanted. The check out was smooth and the furniture will be delivered in less than two weeks. Very pleased with the professional staff and friendly service we received. Would recommend Big Sandy for anyone looking for great furniture and a pleasant experience.
My wife and I bought a whole kitchens worth of appliances. Our sales associate Craig Orr was incredibly easy to work with. He was very knowledgeable about every product we had questions about. We were in the process of a kitchen remodel and Craig worked with us everystep of the way as we had several setbacks. We will be doing future business with them because of the great service we received.

Called closest store to verify washer and dryer were in stock. Salesman verified they were in stock and I told him we would be there in a few hours. Drove over an hour with our truck and trailer to find out that “in stock” means their warehouse that was two more hours away. Needless to say, we are having them delivered in a week. I could have just ordered them online and saved a lot of time and gas money if they were only upfront about what “in stock “ means.Other than this frustration, everything was very quick and easy.
It was fantastic, I ordered us a new love seat in the comfort of my own home. Jordan was able to accommodate our wishes. We ordered the love seat and having it delivered on Friday. Jordan did a great job. He also emailed our invoice to us and my wife was interested in a sleigh bed . Jordan text us some pictures of sleigh bed and their prices. Very helpful. We asked for JJ to assist us since he helped us a couple weeks ago when we purchased the couch. Found out he doesnt work on Mondays. Jordans help was appreciated.
We went to Big Sandy looking for a refrigerator. We were greeted by Drew, who was extremely helpful. He showed us exactly what we were looking for, but most importantly, he truly listened to us, without an agenda, and refined the choices for us so that we would get what we wanted. Which we did! Overall experience was good. Unfortunately, the wait was longer than expected due to the current state of the economy and the world being on backorder. Mattress arrived today. Delivery drivers could have had a bit more personality and care when bringing the products into the house, but the mattress is here amd we are glad to have it.

We were either not satisfied with the furniture selection or more importantly the service. For the record I am in customer service and have been for 15 years & understand it’s not a walk in the park. Josh was so helpful! He kindly greeted us, was not pushy and instead told us where he would be if we needed him. He was very knowledgable about the furniture and any questions we had. We just bought a basic refrigerator for our basement for overflow food and freezer items. The salesman, Alex, was extremely helpful, and we expect delivery of the fridge this Thursday. I cant give any additional praise until the delivery, installation, and old-fridge takeaway happens. Hopefully that will go smoothly.

Their delivery guys were friendly professional and were able to bring fridge into kitchen where the other store (Costco) could not. I also bought my microwave there and picked it up.
Jordan has done an excellent job for my wife and I. Even during these challenging times he has communicated with us concerning our deliveries, as well as helping us with any changes we have needed to make.He has gone above and beyond the normal sales process. This is very refreshing and we will recommend him to all of our friends and family.
Not Female FriendlyI do not recommend women shop here alone. The lack of customer service in addition to the condescension I experienced is not worth the price tag. Go somewhere else- where you are respected. I walked around for 10 minutes while two salesmen stared at their cellphones before bothering to ask if I needed help. Knowing what I wanted to purchase, I told the salesman, who immediately proceeded to laugh and roll his eyes at me.Walked out of Big Sandy, went to Home Depot, paid the same price for the same items with great customer service.
I bought a bed for a friend who is moving into senior housing. I walked in the front door, a very nice woman greeted me and I told her what I needed. She took me immediately back to Frank in bedding. I couldnt have asked for better salesman. He assessed my needs, found the best solution for the situation that will hopefully provide my friend with the most comfort within her budget and our time restraints. He also made sure that I had the proper mattress cover if I hadnt selected the best firmness for my friend so she could exchange it during the trial period.I dreaded having to buy a bed for someone else, but having an experienced knowledgeable salesman who understood the needs of an older person with disabilities made it so much easier
I’m used to purchasing appliances at Lowe’s where associates aren’t as driven for a sales commission like Big Sandy. If I had realized that prior and had the mental preparation as if I was going to buy a car then I’d have rated them higher. Buyer beware in effect. If purchasing appliances here, approach it as if you’re buying a car.
We were very happy with our shopping experience today at the Dublin, Ohio location. Josh was helpful and knowledgeable, but not pushy or annoying. The table and chairs we ordered will be delivered this week, so I cannot report on quality yet, but we were happy to hear they they would arrive so quickly.
We had help from JJ to find my grandson a bedroom set, after looking he took us over to a different set, we really liked it !! Hopefully the time frame is what we was told , Iv been hearing of furniture taking to long to get . It was priced good and we got free delivery as well, happy about that. Tracey Cope
Sales person was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. He was very knowledgable. We are looking forward to our new furniture. I think Big Sandy needs to be more upfront and transparent about actual pricing and discounts. He said we got 15% off but I have no way to know how the actual prices were calculated. I would have given 5 stars if they were more up-front about the pricing.
We had a great experience at Big Sandy Superstore in Dublin. We knew what we wanted, the salesman Drew was awesome, he knew right where the appliances in the package we selected were all located and was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Easiest major purchase we have ever made.
This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We ordered in February and got our couches, coffee table, and end tables right away. They weren’t on back order. Which was fine. I was not initially told that the recliners I ordered were on back order. I got a text from the person that helped me letting me know we wouldn’t receive them till mid March. Fast forward to now and I ended up canceling the recliners because I was now told not till mid May. My husband and I didn’t want to wait any longer for something we had already paid for. We also got a TV stand, which was just delivered. I was told that it would be built. It’s not, so now my husband and I get to spend our night trying to build it. Please save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else.
We purchased an LG refrigerator from the Dublin Store in 2019. We also purchased the extended service agreement. Our refrigerator died, and I filed the claim with the store. They said it would take over 3.5 weeks to even have someone out to evaluate the problem and then could take another week to get parts. After going back and forth (even though the appliance manager told me he would work on expediting this and following up with me the next day which never happened) they finally gave me something 2 weeks out. This is utterly ridiculous! If you don’t have enough service employees to manage the service calls, concessions need to be made on the warranty. We are now expected to go without a refrigerator for weeks! We will be spending hundreds to get through these weeks between having to eat out and having to purchase a small refrigerator just to get by. Highly disappointing and seems you obviously don’t really care about your customers.
We know our card can be used for appliances. We gave the man the number and told him he had to call for approval. we were waiting on delivery and finally called and a female said card didnt go thru their machine. this was after we told him he had to call. We never even got a call that it would not be delivered. the only reason i am giving 2 star instead of 1 is he was friendly
I originally ordered a bed set with two end tables and a gentlemen chest all were very expensive. And I yet to still receive my chest. 2 deliveries later still no chest. They only deliver to my area on Fridays only and I had a delivery set on a Friday and took day off work to be home to get it and delivered the bed and 2 end tables but no chest. I asked delivery men if they had it with them and they did not have the chest with them on the truck. So I called Big Sandys and its in the warehouse they just didnt bring it. So to make a long story short No delivery after being told it would be delivered and actually gave me a window time frame between 1230-430 and 415 rolled around NO DELIVERY. So I called again and she told me it was damaged taking it out of the warehouse and Ill have to wait another month after already having to wait 2 months from original purchase date. No phone call or text saying what had happened. Then I asked about refund and only refund they could do was get delivery fee back. No not ok. So I decided to order from a different furniture store. And cancelled my order. This customer is NOT HAPPY. NEVER GOING BACK TO BIG SANDYS AGAIN. They lost me as a customer for good. Their customer service is terrible. Sorry is not good enough. I do not recommend going to Big Sandys for your furniture or appliances need. I spent a lot of money over the course of 4 months and it ends up being sorry we screwed up but wont do anything to justify it.
Great experience! Welcomed at the door and shown where I should go for what I was looking for. The salesman was knowledgable and non-pressuring. Let us take our time and answered our questions. The feel of the store was a lot different than the kitschy commercials. I was pleasantly surprised - will be back!
RUN AWAY! Seriously, pick ANY OTHER STORE to buy things at. Our 9 (!!!) appliance purchase has been going on for over 11 months now.Now, I get it COVID-19 did not help the situation, but for a store that Puts the Super into SuperStore I found the communication lacking at every turn, at every level. From the sales staff, to the department manager, to the GM, to the REGIONAL Director, getting a return call, an update about our appliances, the rebate, replacements, and work orders for damaged products - NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. I always had to call them and remind them of who I was, what I needed, and ask what the next step(s) were/might be. We had to drive 4 hours round trip for a new microwave, because the one that was delivered had a forklift fork go through the back of it. Our fridge had a huge dent, but the delivery guy said it would work once it was installed. That was a lie. In getting a back up fridge loaned, we werent told it was waiting for us until the store was almost closed, they wanted us to pay for it before we took it, because the person who approved the loan-out had gone home for the day before telling anyone we were coming, AND it took four work order visits to our home to get the fridge fixed. Now, Big Sandy doesnt seem to know that we even have this fridge and that it needs picked up.Every phone call I make means at least an hour on hold, because oh, another person needs to be involved. Yeah, I know the staff at the Dublin store at this point, because all of them pick up the phone and put me back on hold. They also all apologize for my hold time, but still cant seem to actually fix my problem.
I stopped in to purchase appliances. Hani was professional, knowledgeable, great sense of humor and helped me get what I needed. John was also a great surprise as I have known him over the years in differ locations; so this was a terrific experience to have not one but 2 awesome sales people!
Wanted to buy new kitchen package, stopped in walked thru. Moments later Alex approached us asking to help. Helped us with upgrades. Was friendly, knowledgeable and most helpful. Also bought a freezer since we saved on the package.Alex was also really nice to talk with. Glad he helped us !
Excellent experience. . .Jordan was super to work with. He well explained all of the details of the purchase and the flexibilities surrounding their extended warranty. Very efficient in handling the transaction and made me feel that the company was very appreciative of me as a customer. We went into the store on Dec 1; we were looking for a bedroom set. After being told the one we wanted wouldn’t be available until Feb, 2021, we decided on another set. Was told it would be available Dec 15, give or take a week. We had gotten rid of our bedroom set so we needed one badly. Talked to our salesperson around Dec 10 and agreed to have the bed only (it was available for delivery) delivered on 12/16. When the bed was delivered, it was damaged. Then the delivery guy called to tell that the holes for the center supports hadn’t been drilled either and couldn’t put the bed together. After the third call (mattress had been unwrapped from the plastic and was covered in big black oil like markings), husband told delivery guy to take it all back. Waited all day for a return call from Morgan (who never did return our call); had to speak to another young guy who scheduled another delivery for Dec 18. Bed was that time delivered fine but was told the rest of the furniture was back ordered to the end of December. Called on January 2 for an update and was told there is no date for availability. Later that day, we went into the store. Spoke to both our salesperson as well as the manager who neither one showed any compassion, empathy for the delay. It was like they could have cared less. We were told to take a look to see if we could find something in stock to get. We picked out an alternate set and was told it would be delivered on Jan 8. On Jan 7 around 5:00, I hadn’t received a call/text yet about delivery and called the store only to be told the furniture isn’t scheduled to be delivered until Jan 15. I spoke to the furniture manager (that’s what he told me his title was), and once again, he couldn’t have cared less. Once I finished speaking my mind, he put me on hold and came back to say set would be delivered on Jan 9 (which it was).My biggest problem with this whole fiasco is that not one person in that location cared about us or the issue or how to provide good customer service. We were offered a $100 credit; that to me shows me their level of customer service. They just don’t care and are only out for the sale. We have bought several other things from this location before but we will never return to Big Sandy and we will let everyone we know what a bad experience we had!
Great experience with two different stores in the past 3 months. Sales, delivery and follow up couldn’t have been better. W / D pair were not to my satisfaction (thought it was a manufacturing defect). They replaced the pair, and had the same problem. B. S. Sales worked with me and we changed brands and I now have a great W / D pair. 3 deliveries and hookups, all with no problem at all! Couldn’t have been better.Now, I needed a microwave and, after finding what I wanted online, I couldn’t even get in touch with anyone at HD, the local BB wouldn’t even answer the phone and another store was “not accepting calls at this time”! I called B. The merchandise selection was great. However we were greeted by a salesperson then he continued to disappear. We came hoping to buy several rooms of furniture. We still ended up buying a couch and two fridges but we had to keep tracking sales people down. They said they were busy which I understand but there has to be a better way to help people. They weren’t even friendly or acted like they wanted to help. All the way down to the cashiers.
We purchased a new couch which was delivered in December. In April I called to set up a tech to come look at an issue we have with it. The first time they called me after a month on the schedule to reschedule because the tech was sick. You would think the reschedule would be as soon as possible but no another month. Three weeks later I get a call that the person who made the new date didnt realize that it was a holiday. Common sense to me would be the next day but again no another month. This last time they were supposed to contact me before to tell me the exact day/time they were to arrive. That morning I got a text but I wasnt aware of the exact date so I had to once reschedule. Long story short I called and expressed my disappointment with the customer care. The person I spoke with said she would have management call me to discuss. Well its been over a week now and nothing. I guess they sold me so they dont need me anymore or care about their follow up. Im thinking maybe now the Ohio Attorney General and the BBB will care how BIG SANDY operates. Will not shop at this company again. ( Then the response I receive is so generic because I have been trying for now 3 months to get somebody to come out to my house. This company is a joke) This comment is added after my review response from the company.
We purchased appliances on April 20th at Dublin store, customer service overall was not good, sales person was pushing us to buy the ones they had on stock and discouraging us if we wanted to order something different. Also we wanted him to run the numbers (quote) as we were interested in a package and he just made rough calculations in his head and mobile phone. Finally we decided to purchase, Sales person gave us contact information to follow up on the order, I have tried to contact him twice and no response. So We went to store and lady at counter was rude when we asked for status. Finally she said that most of them will arrive to their warehouse by May 19th but not promise delivery date could be given.Normally I do not write reviews but my experience so far has not been good, so hopefully they will read my comment and do something. I am just waiting for my appliances to arrive and be done with it.
Large showroom, friendly sales team, easy purchase. They said that covid was causing delays in shipments, but was promised merchandise within 4-5 weeks. (Though looking at the sales invoice now, it says that the ship date would be 12/31/2048) I think they said something about ship containers were still being help in the pacific ocean because of politics.We paid the required 30% deposit. Was promised to receive weekly calls updating on shipments. We called them after not hearing anything for 5-6 weeks. About 8 weeks in, got a call that items were in Kentucky or someplace and that they would not be able to ship them to the Columbus location for pickup until we paid the remaining balance. Sounded a bit screwy, like they were floating my funds to pay for something else. Tried to talk with them and say it was not our custom to pay for something months before we received it. Couldnt get anywhere with them so paid the remaining balance. It still took at least 2 weeks for them to tell us the items had arrived. But wait, only 2 of the 3 items were at the warehouse.We scheduled a time to pick them up. They said it was really easy, just call, they would more the item up by the delivery dock and help load. However, when I got there, there were 2 cars/trucks in line. I got in line, 2 or 3 more cars arrived and got in line. Really narrow area for their loading dock, only 1 car can get close at a time, everyone else has to wait 30-40 yards out. Meanwhile, one of the new cars skipped the line and backed in, boxing in the truck that was being loaded. They got their item and took off.We waited at least 20 minutes for our turn to load. Went smoothly. As we unpacked them, we were astonished at how many loose strands were on everything, the couch, the loveseat and the decorative pillows. Also, there were staples sticking up. Some staples were there to hold the plastic cover to keep them clean during shipping, that is understandable. but there were also staples on the arms of the couch sticking out that could scratch someone. But since we had already had someone pick up our previous furniture, we just cut the strands, pulled out the miscellaneous staples and started using them.3 different people told us multiple times over the next few weeks, when WE called them, that there were 10 accent chairs coming in and we were 5th in line. Its coming, its coming, followed by weeks of silence. We always had to call to get an update.Finally the last accent chair arrived, and we hurried over to pick it up. Excited to finally have our living room back in order, now 13 weeks after we had paid the deposit, and 7 weeks after we paid the full amount.However, as we unpacked the final accent chair, we didnt find a single strand hanging out here and there as we did on the couch, no, now we had at least 3 dozen strands with clumps of 8 or more strands together, some 6-8 inches long. And they were all coming out from the binding on the front of the accent chair. Not an obscure place in the back or bottom. Definitely did not have any type of inspection, could not have missed seeing the glaring defects in workmanship on the surface of the product. This gives me great concern on the quality of the inside of the items we purchased. Called their customer support, sent them photos and they promised to send out a technician in a few days to correctly cut the bunches of strands without damaging the chair surface.Overall, a disaster. Never shopping there again. Not impressed with their delivery scheduling, goofy pay in advance and we might eventually ship it to you in 3 or 4 months, and horrible service while we waited. Cant comment on customer service or quality of the repair technician.Only thing that keeps this from being a 1 star is that the initial saleswoman was friendly and patient, and the warehouse people were very helpful and quick to load items when they finally arrived, despite the sometimes chaotic approach of buyers skipping the line.
We were very pleased with our visit and our purchase. John Barton was exceptional. He explained everything about many of the washers and we decided on the Kitchen aid. I was impressed with John because he was not pushy. We had gone home & then decided which one to buy. Couldnt ask for a nicer salesman. Thank you.
Devin at the Superstore was great. He showed us just what we asked for, didn’t pressure us one way or another, and let us make our own decisions. He answered our questions completely and honestly, which we really appreciated. Checkout was fast and easy. And the prices were right; Devin made sure we got every discount we could get. Can’t wait for our furniture to arrive in a few days, which was another surprise.
Love the new dishwasher. The manufacturer makes a great product. The install was a text book of what not to do. They laid the dishwasher on its side to adjust the front legs. When it was set black up there was not enough clearance and the countertop was scratched. Not a big deal as new granite cones next week. Then, they drilled an additional hole in the cabinet because they did not like the instructions in the install manual. They were asked to mount the dishwasher into the cabinet because of the granite. Installed stated that the manufacturer did not provide for that style of mount. Then came the
We worked with David Jacob in Appliances and Electronics an I just can’t say enough good things about him. We discussed what we were looking for and he knew exactly the right washers and dryers to show us. When it turned out we didn’t want front-loading machines (despite our original insistence that it was what we were looking for) he seamlessly brought us to new, equivalent machines and was able to tell us about the differences and what would work for us. He didn’t try to sell us more machine than we wanted to pay for, but did take a lot of time to explain the differences in machines we asked about.The showroom was well stocked, all the options we had researched online were available to look at, and the prices were great during the Fourth of July sale. But I think I could have gotten that just about anywhere; David made the difference in this experience. When I go to buy my new TV (new house, new TV, right?) I will go back to Big Sandy and I will ask for David.
Both my husband and I went in knowing semi what we wanted already in terms of a mattress but were curious after seeing their selection. We were helped by Frank. He knows his stuff and got us in a new mattress quickly and explained everything to us in detail.Will be coming back here again for more furniture of appliances. Their prices are definitely not overpriced between great and good I would say. I saw deals everywhere while we were there.
Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of furniture we have purchased from here. We came to big Sandy’s at the end of December 2019 and bought new living room furniture and a dining room table.The arm of the sofa has already been repaired due to it breaking down. Not even 6 months of having the dinning room table the paint chipped from the top of the table and was told it wasn’t repairable due to it not being under their warranty. So we let it go and didn’t make a big deal about it.So just recently we went in to purchase my sons bedroom furniture. When they arrived with the furniture they didn’t have the correct rails for what was ordered. I ordered a queen and they brought a full. Right after the drivers left the head board broke. I called and reported it and requested for a new frame to be brought out with the rails that they didn’t bring.When they came back the second time they had the correct rails no hardware to put them together. but the screws for the head board was to long and went straight threw the head board as he was putting it together.After that I got extremely frustrated and just told them to take it all back and cancel my order.So now my table that I have had for just a year frame/legs have broke. When I called I was transferred to someone else where the phone was disconnected!The furniture is poorly made from here and even when you try to get them corrected they can’t ever get it right.I went right in to value city and purchased new furniture for my sons room and received very sturdy furniture and great customer service!
If I could select ZERO stars I sure as hell would! Still waiting on a refrigerator I purchased almost 9 months ago, wasnt delivered when they said it would be, well actually nothing was delivered the day it was supposed to be. Ordered a whole kitchen package! No call, no voicemail, nothing. Every month keep placing blame on manufacturer but at time of sale had no problem taking payment and obviously lying right to my face. Worst company Ive ever done business with!
We worked with Craig Orr picking out appliances for an upcoming remodel and he was fantastic. Kept us informed about the status of delivery, working with our renovation company, very informed about each product, and overall very easy to work with. Highly recommend this store and staff.

5 million star review!I cannot say enough good things about this store and my experience in shopping with them for furniture,T.V.s and major appliances.As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly knowledgable staff member ready to direct you to the desired product youre looking for. You will get excellent salesmanship on honestly great quality products. I would strongly suggest you pay them a visit if you are looking for a great service at a great price. I highly recommend JJ Johnston and /or John Barton to talk to for any help ,sales for whatever your needs, but Im quite sure everyone there is good. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit to their Dublin store for a great deal today.now for the downside, I had a lot of trouble with delivery even 2 months after things were ordered with Big Sandy I waited on my stove the longest so far and a bed frame that was supposed to come along with a mirror. I received emails telling me that they would tell me what they knew when they knew it which I can understand with logistical issues and covid-19 situation but I have yet to receive it and that is a terrible downside for this review. But I believe in the salesmanship of this so I wont take anything away.
Service was superior. The people we dealt with in 2 different departments showed us what we were looking for, gave us some primary information, and then allowed us to shop at our own pace. The two gentlemen check back periodically to answer questions, but didn’t “dog” us. They were personable and pleasant. They were able to meet, actually beat, the prices of a competitor.

2022-01-13Ordered furniture months ago but due to a clerical error it was the wrong orientation once delivered. So I declined the delivery. Long story short,the orientation we wanted was no longer available. The Operations Manager was very apologetic and made the situation right. Good customer service is key especially in these situations and thats what I got. The price point of the furniture is reasonable and the quality seems good too.

2022-06-23Pros: The sales person, Hani, was amazing and went above and beyond to get all of our questions answered and concerns addressed. The rest of the store personnel were also extremely nice. The store itself was clean, bright, spacious and overall pleasant to shop in.Cons: The delivery/install people were unpleasant to deal with. When they arrived I was informed, in a very rude tone/manner, that they were not going to install my dishwasher because they were unhappy with the condition of our water line shut off valve. The next thing I know the first guy is yelling out my front door to his partner to put the dishwasher back in the truck because they were not installing it. There was no: Here is what the problem is and what your options are, it was just we are not going to install it and put the dishwasher back in the truck. Thankfully, we know how to install a dishwasher and have done so several times in the past. To be honest, we only paid for the install because we were being lazy and just didn’t feel like doing it ourselves this time. So, we disconnected the old dishwasher ourselves so they could haul it away and then had them leave the new one for us to install. To make matters worse when we got to the end of the install we realized that when they had started the dishwasher set up process in their truck they had removed the kick-plate and never put it back on. Now I have to waste more time trying to get our kick-plate delivered so we can complete the install process.In summary: If you need a new appliance, and have the ability to install it yourself, then Big Sandy is a good place to shop at. But if you will need more than just the purchase and delivery of the item, if you need someone to install it for you, then it would probably be good to shop elsewhere.

2022-02-22My salesman Mr. Alex in appliance was awesome!He is very friendly, patient and polite. He was very knowledgeable of the three washer and dryer sets I was interested in. He advised me of specials, rebates, promotions and coupons that were available at that time. He made purchasing high price tickets items easy. I came back a couple hours later and he was busy but we did not mind waiting for him to sell my friend the same microwave. I will always refer him to my friends and family. 2022-01-20This was my first time buying from Big Sandy, I was very pleased with my experience there. Salesperson Alex was knowledgeable about the product, a dryer, that I was interested in. There was a sample on the sales floor that I could examine first hand. The bottom line price after the inevitable add-ons was the lowest of all stores I shopped. The item was in stock, delivery was able to be scheduled quickly. I got lots of updates on delivery status. Dante and his associate arrived on time, got the dryer hooked up and running amazingly fast. I had asked for the door swing to be switched, that was all done in the warehouse ahead of time-- brilliant! They cleaned up every scrap of paper before they left, were willing to answer any questions I had. Absolutely no glitches or annoyances anywhere in this purchase. I will definitely shop Big Sandy again, and have already had the opportunity to recommend them.

2022-04-07Greeted promptly and directed right to the area of the item I was looking for. Sales rep was very helpful but not pushy at all. Had my lift recliner purchased and out the door in about 30 minutes. They had the best selection in stock from the other stores. I’ve bought their furniture years ago and it is still wearing well. Highly recommend. Our rep was Barbara. Very personable and great to work with.

2022-01-19My experience at Big Sandy was very good. I was in critical need of a new dishwasher and received more than adequate support. I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher based on price/features. I was able to pick up the dishwasher, load it into my SUV, and install the same day. Just needed to go back to local big-box hardware to get an installation kit. Overall, I felt I got a quality product at a competitive price.

They checked in on us here and there. When we were ready for important information on products the team gave knowlegble feedback. 2022-01-30Our Fridge died and we needed one ASAP. Our salesman was excellent, showing us in stock models and open box. We were able to find what we were looking for and take it home that day. No other store we stopped at could provide same day unless the unit was a heavily damaged floor model.Big Sandy was able to meet our needs. Very please with the service, selection and price.

2022-01-31I went to the Dublin, OH store today with a list of furniture I wanted. I had some pretty specific details and measurements to work with. And I needed all the furniture to be in stock. Paula Ross was terrific. When I realized a love seat wouldnt work, she set out to find me a smaller sofa that would fit in the space I had to work with. She found the perfect one. I also purchased an accent chair, bookcase and 2 counter chairs. She really came through! Thank you Paula!

2022-03-30My wife and I was looking for living room furniture. We stopped in Big Sandy on Sawmill Road in Dublin, Ohio. Travis was the first person to ask if he could help us. Super nice guy, he went over and above for a sales person. Our experience was a NO pressure sales pitch. We even left the store after he spent 2 hours helping us. We went to there competition to make sure it was what we wanted. We returned to the store, asked for Travis and ended up replacing all our furniture. Excellent experience with more than fair pricing.
