DO NOT BUY FROM ANY BIG SANDY! And if you do, do NOT purchase the extended warranty. I have been waiting for 6+ months to get a small hole (now a large hole) fixed. They cancelled on me the day before the appt and then, of course, cant schedule you for months after. I have had the piece of furniture for < 1 year and the seams are fraying on multiple cushions. I tried to submit a warranty claim for the frayed seams and they denied it because of the one other claim (the hole), which was unrelated. It clearly states that premature wear is covered, yet the customer service rep told me first that they dont cover wear and tear (its spelled out on their website that it does, but she wasnt looking at that document) and second, that she didnt know what premature wear meant. Instead of helping me resolve the issue, she just repeated herself, an unrelated statement, over and over. Ive been asking for 2-3 months for someone else (a supervisor) to explain to me what premature wear actually is so that I understand what is or isnt covered as a customer - a reasonable ask - no one will return my emails, phone calls, texts to the help line, etc. Just straight up ignoring me (and its documented). I paid multiple hundreds of dollars for the extra protection, and instead Ive been living with a couch with a hole in it for almost the entirety of 2022 and a customer service department that has literally no care for their customers... at all. The store reviews look good on here but if you search for the corporate reviews, they are TERRIBLE. So many people in a similar situation. PLEASE DONT PUT YOURSELF IN THIS SITUATION!
Shopping in the store was a great experience, Katlin was very knowledgeable about the items we were looking at and did a great job walking us through the process. When we got the couch and opened it there were some issues, we got ahold of Katlin and she went above and beyond to handle them and make sure she got the situation handled for us as she knew we were on a tight timeline. We will always go back to Big Sandy because of this and Katlin is our person!! Thank you for making us top priority, we very much appreciate it!
To begin it was a rare occurrence having a live person answer the phone when we called. We spoke to Taylor Miller on the phone and met him immediately upon our arrival. Taylor spent two hours with us without being pushy and answering all our questions. He was very knowledgeable and extremely polite. The store was clean and well organized.
We stopped at Big Sandy a week ago and looked at Mattresses with Sales Rep Tom. He patiently answered all of our questions and showed us several mattresses based on our sleeping descriptions (side & back sleepers, firmness, etc.). We went home and did more online research. We came back to Big Sandy today and worked with Sales Rep Tom. He was really great as well answering questions and pointing out things to think about. We ended up buying an original Purple mattress along with a mattress protector, sheets and pillows. We have delivery scheduled for this Friday and they’ll even take our old mattress for a small fee. We’re very impressed with Big Sandy for both their product selection and their high quality staff. We highly recommend them for your bedding needs.
Ive been looking for a particular Wall Oven Microwave Combo for weeks. No one has it in stock and no one would even order it or put me on a wait list. I called Big Sandy, spoke with Brooke....she was very pleasant....and after discussing the product and explaining some details...I was able to place an order and get on a wait list.I had no hesitation on choosing Big Sandy over the other home improvement stores especially after Brooke explained the warranty policy (which Im usually not a big fan of), but Big Sandy makes it pretty much impossible to turn down.Thank you Brooke! I know its going to be awhile before I get my Oven but Im satisfied that Im at least on the list.
Our experience was great, Wali and Tony were extremely helpful! They were patient and answered any questions we had about our purchase. This is the second time we have used Big Sandy and will always be our #1 pick for furniture. They have several options for financing and will work with you and your budget. Every experience is 5 stars!
Bought my smart appliances here. If it wasnt for the price of warrantees. It would have been a steal. (6 months later from making this post. ) The range broke down 3 times. Dont waste your money on Big Sandy wareentee. They try every trick in the book to not honor it. Even after you spent hundreds on wareentee. Dont buy from this shady place. You will be in the same boat im in. Spend $2000 on a range with 5 year wareentee that dont work and your stuck getting the run around. Screw Big Sandy and their shady practices. Had to throw it away and buy another from Home depot, because I kept getting the run around. Went months without stove and it wasnt even a year old. Go Elsewhere or you will regret it. LESSON LEARNED. STAY AWAY from ( BIG SHADY)
We needed a gas range asap. Greg H helped us buy a beautiful brand new stove in our price range. He was funny, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. Big Sandy Superstore definitely got themselves a whole family of lifetime customers today! Thanks Greg H and thanks Big Sandys!
What a great experience working with Wanola at the Polaris location! Wanola is very patient and professional. She listened as we described our personal style and furniture needs, which helped in selecting our furniture. We thought Big Sandy Superstore was only an appliance store! Were we ever pleasantly surprised to see the large selection of furnishings in every price range!I also want to give Kudos to the delivery team. Excellent communications prior and after delivery of furniture! The delivery staff was courteous and professional.Thank you Big Sandy Superstore we love our furniture selection and quality!
I received my appliances today and the dishwasher was damaged. That happens, I get that. The delivery guys said i should have one the next day and the sales person will get back to me. I waited and waited and finally called the store. Spoke to my sales person. He said I just got back from vacation and needed time to research. Ok I understand... Im the meantime where they removed the dishwasher, I have a leak now under my sink. Caked the store back several hours later and had to leave a urgent message for my sales guy to call. Nothing.. in the meantime, the fridge water dispenser has a leak. Also I was told I had to purchase all their hookup lines so they are liable. Well.. they used my old fridge lines and charged me for them. I asked for a refund and still waiting on that answer to. Im a nutshell nobody has replied to give me answers. Seems like the sales guys got their commission and more or less screw you. Waiting till they open and escalating this complaint.
Big shout out to Brooke for not only helping me pick out a Washer and Dryer today but she was just an all around kind person! She was very knowledgable and answered any and all questions I had. Not only that but she gladly helped me through finacing and making sure I was paying a price I was comfortable with! Definitely ask for Brooke if you need any help with appliances!
With the supply chain being the way it is, we have had the hardest time trying to find our range to complete our collection. We have searched everywhere but came up empty. We had the pleasure of speaking with Taylor Miller and he was beyond helpful. He went out of his way all day to make sure the item we were looking for was in stock. He was able to reassure us every step of the way with delivery and billing. Couldnt recommend anyone better, Taylor went out of his way just to help us when we were about to give up.Thank you!
Kaitlin was a great listener and as a result was able to incorporate what we said and combining it with what she observed to make excellent recommendations. The time we spent was therefore extremely effective. We found everything we needed which was a great relief and she even helped us navigate the specials currently at play. My wife and I had never visited big sandy before but it will now be our go to place for furniture and appliances. . . . At least as long as kaitlin. Is still there.
As far as the sales experience it has been amazing. We felt very important to our sales staff, they had answers to all our questions, it was an all around great experience on the sale floor. As far as products and delivery go only time will tell. Hopefully it’s just like the experience in the store.
Update to the update. Ben at the Polaris store was awesome. He made the effort to hand deliver the remaining peices to the bed. Appreciate him.Update: over a month later we are still waiting on a few cosmetic pieces to the bed that was delivered. Although very inexpensive, I wanted to make sure they were matching to the bed. I was told I could come pick up from Dublin, which is 50 minutes round trip so I asked that they be mailed. Two weeks later I have yet to receive anything.We had a great experience buying a new couch, bed, mattress and a few other items. Austin was our main contact We had such great service that we went back and bought a new Tempurpedic bed. I couldnt imagine having this good of service and helpful staff anywhere else. Unfortunately the delivery of one of the beds and frame didnt have a pleasant experience. The gentlemen who made the delivery smelled like they had smoked a carton of cigarettes between the last stop and my house.
I went twice into the Big Sandy Superstore. The first, because Id never heard of it. I was greeted immediately with a tall woman who was friendly, yet didnt overwhelm me with I want to sell you something, instead she was very informative about the types of product they carry and said if I needed anything,just let her know. I loved that because I did just want to look. The store is very clean and organized! The products and furniture are beautiful with several varieties of style and taste and great quality to choose from! I ended up in the appliance section. Again the gentleman that helped me was very informed on all the appliances, and the selection was amazing! It was from nice quality to very high-end, something for everyone in one place! The prices were very affordable, and they price match, which I love! After getting all the information I needed I came home and let my husband know that I was pretty sure I found all our kitchen appliances! After hearing that most products are on backorder (I had been to Home Depot and Lowes website).The salesman checked Best Buy, and they were also backordered for the particular product we wanted. So my husband and I went back. We ended up buying the top of the line LG package of appliances, and yes! They were all in stock! And ready for delivery!! Our salesman double checked on price matching, and ended up saving us even more money!! We were in and out within an hour with everything we needed, and a delivery date within 4 days!! I think the best thing I appreciated, was how nice everyone was, no stress! So from walking in, to finishing with the beautiful ladies at the front desk, it was an awesome experience!! I highly recommend checking out Big Sandy Superstore! From saving money and getting exactly what we needed in such a short period of time!
The furniture department is awful. They delivered the incorrect size mattress for my son’s bed so he had to sleep on the floor for 2 nights (we are waiting for the sofa to be delivered - not from Big Sandy). The delivery guys were great. They asked the dispatcher if they could leave the mattress, but she said no, they had to remove it. When I asked to speak to her, she was rude to me. Her tone of voice was nasty, and when I tried to joke with her, she hung up on me. I will never buy furniture at Big Sandy again. I don’t need to pay for “white glove delivery service” and have some woman with a bad attitude decide that my son be inconvenienced. I spent almost $10,000 on furniture, and I am very disappointed.
Just found the same dishwasher at Best Buy for $100 less. THIS IS MY CORRECTION. Big Sandy pointed out that the model number is different and the color is different. This was my mistake and I chose to stick with the model at Big Sandy. Otherwise they would price match. Took a lot of their time to help this old person.
Yousaf had thee most best customer service that I’ve experienced while in the pandemic. He was upbeat, comprising, kid friendly, knowledgeable and not worried about a quick sale. He wanted to gain knowledge of the interior and space that I would be furnacing in my home . He knew exactly where to direct me and assured that I walked out happy with my purchase. I promise you’ll be grateful if you ask for YOUSAF 😊
We told the salesman what we were looking for and he suggested two styles and we liked the lower price point style, however it was an brand we didnt know. The salesman explained and we decided to buy. No hard sell, to the point and very personable salesman. He never boasted of his knowledge but we knew he knew his products. Very good experience!
Our salesperson worked with us to purchase our Flexsteel Finley sofa and loveseat at the best price and terms! We were so surprised that a discount furniture store carried one of the top furniture lines in the US. Thank you for a great experience, excellent selections and value. We will be back!
I bought a Samsung Washer/Dryer at Best Buy and when delivering it they forgot the staking parts so I had them take it back. The second time the electrical plug was broke. I cancelled the purchase. Went to Lowes. That was the biggest joke ever. We have a difficult delivery as the washer goes to the second floor and I have a chair lift. After over a week of back and forth and then no washer or phone calls from Lowes I cancelled the purchase. Now we get to Big Sandy. Taylor Miller met us and I told him exactly what I wanted and the price I wanted him to match. He got right on the computer to check his stock to see what he could do while my wife and I looked at other washer/dryer combinations. Taylor did match the price on the Samsung but we decided we wanted different options and bought a GE. Taylor was so helpful. He is a salesman you can really trust. As far as our difficult delivery it started out a little rocky but Taylor worked with their people and got them to my house and the delivery went so smooth. I was totally impressed. I have scratched Best Buy and Lowes from my big purchases and am going to use Big Sandy and I will definitely be asking for Taylor Miller for my salesman. Great Guy.
What a delightful experience to walk into Big Sandy, to meet a pleasant consultant who listened to my hard-luck story from a competitor. I described what I wanted, she led me to it, and I purchased exactly what I was prepared to buy, No drama, no excuses, no bad-mouthing delivery, no pressure to search farther,. Looking forward to my new furniture!
I purchased a kitchen table w/ leaf so we could host the family on holidays. Thanksgiving came & i went to test the leaf it was completely broke. Took abt 3 weeks to replace when I received the new table the leaf was yet again broke. Third times a charm the leaf was able to be used but it wouldnt stick to the magnet that attaches to it when storing i guess it was was weak & needed replaced not a big deal but then a month later the table starts peeling & a Big Sandys Rep offered me 15% to keep the table. How rude! Nobody cares I spent my hard earn money on a defective tabl. They never delivered me a table to a customer s satisfaction. At this point I just want my money back so I can take my business elsewhere. UNFORTUNATELY all im offered is a store credit. I dont want your furniture Big Sandy its poor quality at high prices. Youve been warned it looks nice but it doesnt stand up.
Wanola was great!! She helped us find exactly what we were looking for! She was informative and professional. We appreciated how personable she was without being intrusive. We will come back and send our friends and family to shop at Big Sandy, due solely to Wanola! Thanks again!
My experience is zero stars, but I had to click one at least to be able to post. I purchased a brand new LG stove/double oven and refrigerator on February 26th. The top oven stopped heating past 300 within the first couple weeks. I had to wait for the first available Big Sandy Service until April 1. It wasnt fixed and service was again out on April 13, and again on May 3rd. Incorrect parts were ordered and nothing worked. When the 3rd service team left I went to the store and found out they couldnt do anything to help me. They gave me the service Managers name & number. I called and told him what happened and I wanted the oven fixed by the end of the week or else I want a new oven. I received a call back on May 3rd saying he was working on getting my oven repaired on Friday and he would keep me updated. I called on May 5th and had to leave a message for him. I called the store and they said they would send an email to David and his boss Brian. It is now Friday and I did not receive a call back from service. I am a very unhappy Big Sandy Superstore customer.
Shopping for new washer and dryer. Many brands and models to choose from at BigSandy. Taylor was very helpful and patient with helping us make a selection. He spent about 2 hours with us. After purchase service was a big deciding factor in buying from BigSandy. Applying for store financing was easy and quick. Anxiously waiting for delivery of the appliances.
4/10/2021 Update: I called the Big Sandy in Dublin and their drivers delivered the couch with ease. It was certainly the drivers at this store that caused me to have to look elsewhere and I almost bought from Ashley instead but wanted to give it a last shot for this couch in particular. I updated my review from 2 stars to 4 though because I still love the product and working with Big Sandy as a whole.My original review from March 2021:My experience started off with a good first impression walking in. They have a nice selection and everyone was friendly. Dakota was our sales associate and he was wonderful and informative. We found the sectional we wanted relatively easy since we looked online. They said delivery was delayed and we accepted that waiting period but our couch was delivered a bit sooner than they anticipated so that was exciting.The issue is that when the couch was delivered we were 9th in line that day for delivery and I got the impression that the movers were not in a good mood to be delivering the furniture by then and pretty quickly told me it wont fit. They showed me one angle that would not fit and it seemed to be the most obvious that it was not going to fit just to get me to accept it. After the fact my neighbor in the same building told me they saw the movers and were surprised that it didnt fit because it looked similar to their size couch they bought at Ashley. They let me measure their couch and it was literally the same dimensions as the one I ordered that supposedly wont fit. She said her movers had little issue getting it in and thought they probably didnt put much effort in.If I had the product Id be giving a 5 star review but at this point I had to get a refund and it was really frustrating to learn my neighbor has the same dimensions for their couch when mine was sent back. The movers caused my business to have to go elsewhere.
We were shopping for a new mattress and are so glad that we were helped by Kim at the Polaris Big Sandy! She is incredibly knowledgeable, listens to your needs, considers your budget, and provides #outstanding overall service! What might have been a confusing process (selecting a mattress from all of the choices) became a great experience in finding the best mattress for our needs. Weve purchased furniture from other sales associates, and we can honestly say that Kim is one of the best! Our mattress was delivered within a week, and delivery was a seamless process. We were texted with delivery arrival updates, and Andy and Robert were awesome professionals and quick with our installation. We purchased (and love!) a Tempur-Pedic Proadapt mattress with a price guarantee and highly recommend working with Kim at Big Sandy.
Washer and dryer delivery was poor. Not setup balanced. Gave my wife only 3 of the 4 shipping bolts required for any move of the washer. Failed to take the shipping bracket off. Delivery driver insisted there is no bracket to remove. It was there and clearly called out to be removed on the quick setup instructions taped to the top of the washer.
So far, so good. We shopped on Saturday (3/26/22) at the Polaris location. Brooke was our sales person. Very nice; very informative; very helpful. Came home and researched our top 3 options for electric slide-in ranges. Texted a couple questions to her. Called her today (3/26/22), ordered it via the phone and paid via online text link. Now awaiting delivery of two months out. If delivery occurs ok and if product comes in, with no dents and works, we should be great to go for a late summer kitchen remodel!
As the name suggests this is big super store for all home furniture and electronics. The store has different sections like master bedroom, mattress, living room etc. The furniture and other items seems to be on the little expensive side. Overall the store looks cool and arrangements are also nice.
Purchasing a sectional and 2 recliners was the easy part(of course this was the part where they take your money). The delivery of the furniture, not so easy. I have a large family and need a sectional to accommodate them but that’s difficult when the delivery men tell you a part of the sectional was not loaded and you’d have to wait a week for that section. Of course the warehouse blames the sales rep and the sales rep blames the warehouse. Long story short and several calls and messages later, we can call off work and have the section delivered 3 days later or pick it up 3 days later, all while we already got rid of the old sofa because we have to schedule bulk trash pick ups. Then we find out our solar light on our deck post was damaged during the delivery process which now needs replaced. They tell us to send a pic to have their claims department look into it. Much easier if I just take care of it myself. By the way, still don’t know when the recliners will be in.
Scott did not make us feel pressured. He made himself available to answere questions but otherwise let us tryout the different mattresses on our own. We spent almost 2 hours in the store mulling over our possibilites. Once we decided on a mattress the checkout process was seemless.
My mother and I went to look for a dishwasher, however, we walked away purchasing a living room furniture set. All was in stock except ottoman. The items were delivered on December 2, however, third party delivery company was rough, careless and inconsiderate. The accent chair that was delivered did not have the threads on the bottom to add the feet. I was told I would receive a call within 24-48 hours. After 72 hours I called and spoke to Ben. Explained my frustrations and disappointment with delivery and the fact this accent chair should not have passed QC, his response... Thanks for the feedback. Have to wait for an exchange until December 15. Then discovered, threads coming up from the cushion on chaise cushion. They wont add a cushion to the existing service call, so that cannot be done until January 5. Weve only had this set 11 days and it has become quite obvious that Big Sandy does not provide quality products or any type of decent customer service after the sell. WILL NOT DEAL WITH BIG SANDY AGAIN!!!Update:. We have placed several calls to have two items repaired with minimal to no success. The technician came out remove the chaise cover since they wont replace the entire chaise cushion, only to discover the cover that was sent was not for the chaise cushion. In addition, the picture provided shows a rolled up rule of cardboard inserted into the arm of the chair to eliminate the hollowness. There is still some give in the arm of the chair. Now, we will have to be inconvenienced for I believe what is going on the 6th visit to resolve these issues. I highly recommend not doing business with Big Sandy for anything. If it were possible I would give them a negative reading considering they clearly do not stand by the products that they sell nor do they provide adequate customer service to resolve issues. Now Im being told there is a foam shortage and that replacement is not an option only to repair is the option. Please beware
The store was clean and presentable, my wife and I knew exactly what we wanted, but the salesman was very rude and not very accommodating. I would have rather done the entire process myself because his actions were deplorable. I will never, ever spend my money at this store, again. Thank you for the experience.
Katlin at Polaris location does a great job. Our delivery team on our most recent bedroom set order was phenomenal. The last guys dinged our walls a bit with a couch.One piece came in damaged, which was brought to my attention by the delivery guys, so we are waiting again for furniture to come in. Took 6 months to get the bedroom set but that is standard right now.
My wife and I are shopping for furniture today. After much frustration with other stores we came to Big Sandy Superstore. We were greeted by Wali and fortunately for us he is a professional. He listened to everything we had to say and then showed us all of our options. It is a very easy process to work with Wali Rehman.
It was very nice and quite experience. Bobby helped us a lot with shopping over there. Some items are very expensive and some others are very good deal. I highly recommend it to stop by and take a quick look around. The decor of the store is very nice and simple. I don’t really recommend to buy the extra warranty they have. Its will be unhelpful in the future.
Mr Jackson done an excellent job of explaining all the features and options of the kitchen appliances packages. He was not at all pushy, he would just ask questions, then explain what that checked or unchecked then move on to more options. He actually talked us out of a double oven, due to the very low load height.——>>>>>>Above is what i posted after the sale. Note I changed to from 5 stars to 1 star. It took months to get a partial order of our all black stainless kitchen in. The rest never came. It was too late by then to get the rebates. So the local lowes actually had better prices. Which is where we ended up getting the fridge and the dishwasher from. No Communication, after the sale. When we put the down payment down, we waited for months, then called to see when the stuff would be in, we were told we had to pay for everything up front before it would even be ordered. So we did pay for it all. More waiting. We call and they said your scheduled for delivery next week, I’m thinking it took a while, but it’ll all be here soon. Wrong the truck shows up, no fridge ( the most expensive part), and no dishwasher. We call, they say the next delivery will be in 2 more weeks. Two weeks later no appliances and no call. We call , they say the dishwasher came in damaged and was sent back. Next delivery is 2 more weeks out. Another no show no call. This time I call to cancel, and get my money back.Note the date i first posted this. We went to lowes about April of 2022. Lowes delivers a new dishwasher in a few days, about 2 weeks on the fridge. It comes with a small dent. Lowes leaves the dented refrigerator for us to use till the new one comes in, they replace it and give us 10% back for delivering a dented fridge.I now understand why big sandy has so many tv adds, because no one shops there twice, or tells their freinds it was great.Fyi, our oldest son ordered a new bed that reclines for his pregnant wife, the rest of the parts show up right after the twins are born.In short run, run away.
We called the Columbus/Polaris area store at around 5:30 on a Sunday evening. We needed a washing machine and a dishwasher. We had looked at a couple online and had some idea of what we wanted. Brooke answered the phone and was able to answer all our questions plus give additional input on brands. She was able to find exactly what we wanted that was in-stock and available for delivery on Wednesday of that week!! Around 6:00 we were done! Best shopping experience for getting two pretty large household items. I loved not having to go to the store and spend hours!!! Thanks Brooke!!!
I was greeted by Michelle and given time to look around and if I needed her shed be happy to help. I walked around and saw so many things I loved. The prices were great and the selection was even greater! I found the everything I wanted and Michelle helped me place the order and set up a delivery time and day.Update: 3/7/2020My delivery came today. Its absolutely beautiful. Some how my 2 end tables were left out of the order so I called and spoke with both the Polaris store and customer service. They have the Best customer service! They were kind and understanding. I know theyll get the tables out to me soon but I really wanted to commend their outstanding service!
Just purchased our new fridge yesterday, we bought many items from Big Sandy over the past year for our new home. Lots of great experiences but we would love to say thank you to Christopher from the Polaris location for the guidance and dealing with my picky choices! Our new fridge will be delivered next week and we are so excited!
Katlin was an excellent salesperson. She was helpful without being pushy. She knew exactly which products met the needs we described. She was mentoring Andrew, who was also very personable, and they worked together very well without affecting our shopping experience in any negative way.
The staff in the store were all very nice and professional. However, it took them 4 times to get my order correct. I was at the point of cancelling the entire order if they didnt get it right on the fourth time. After going back up to the store and speaking to a manager they eventually got it right. Due to that experience and having to be home four different times I would probably hesitate on returning to buy anything in the future. Lastly, I wasnt offered any compensation for the inconvenience due to their ordering errors.
Our salesperson took the time to go through the showroom with us to look at all our options. They listened to what we wanted, discussed pros and cons of all the ones we liked. We were not rushed to make a decision. To no fault of Big Sandy Superstore it took awhile to get our couch and recliner delivered.The delivery people were fast and efficient. They had everything set up and it looked great. The recliners were plugged in and ready for use. One of the delivery folks, Joshua, even gave us a donation for our Buddy Walk team. Thank you Joshua!!
My salesperson was Taylor Miller at the Polaris Pkwy, Columbus OHIO location.Taylor was very polite, patient, and knowledgeable about Washers and Dryers.I asked him a lot of questions, about different brands, quality, prices and if they had them in stock and he knew all answers immediately.
Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. I have a flexsteel couch bought through a local furniture store that is now out of business. Foster dog chewed a hole in couch. I wanted to replace that section and buy extra fabric. Went to Big Sandys competitor first with specific part numbers without any luck. Could only help if that particular model was on showroom floor. (I know that was not true since I had contacted dealer before I even went to the store.) Walked into Big Sandy and within 5 minutes I was sitting with salesman at a computer and what I wanted was ordered. I wish I would have saved my time and gone to Big Sandys first.
Our experience at Big Sandy was very satisfactory. Our sales rep was very polite and professional. Hayden Reymer answered all our questions we inquired about the recliners we purchased. The recliners were available and delivery was setup for a reasonable amount of time. We hope the delivery goes just as well. Im sure our next furniture purchase will be through Big Sandy .
So, this is my 4th big sandy purchase and we have always been super happy. Greg took his time we are very picky and tend to look around but have always ended up buying from Big Sandy’s because they listen and respond to what we want and need! I will say the Polaris store had better customer service then the other store we visited! But we will be back for our next purchase .
Big Sandy Superstore (BSS) in the Polaris center bailed me out in the storm Thursday 02/03/22. I had called and spoke with Taylor, I needed a refrigerator and they had one for me to look at. They had made a decision to lock up due to weather. They stayed and I got a good deal on a floor model.
Christopher was awesome! We dont normally like to shop at that big sandys because the customer service has never been great, until today. We normally go to the sawmill rd location. Christopher was very helpful and knowledgeable about the TV that was purchased. He asked us right away if he could assist us back by the tvs! If I purchase another TV I will make sure to deal with him directly! Thank you Christopher!
We had a great experience while shopping at Big Sandy. We had to buy a new washer and dryer and the sales associate Roberto was wonderful. He went over the different brands and what was available. Never once did he pressure us on which one to pick. He also gave us time to talk things through. We ended up buying a washer and dryer. We will be a returning consumer.
Amazing ! Our Sales associate Michelle was excellent. She was so helpful, professional and knowledgeable.We were fortunate to purchase in stock furniture. Our delivery was ontime as promised. Everyone we had contact with from Big Sandys were very attentive, and had excellent customer service skills. We are very pleased with our new furniture, and we highly recommend BIG Sandy Superstore Polaris .
Michelle was very patient and continued to answer questions and show us options as we continued to change our mind. She was very helpful in helping us to finally find an option that met all of our needs.We are looking forward to receiving our sectional powered sofa and contrasting chairs and seeing them in our living room.
UPDATE Feb. 2022: SERVICE AFTER THE SALEI purchased a new refrigerator & range from the Polaris store in the fall of 2021.Had to have a new gas line installed to accommodate the switch from an electric range to a gas one. When plumbers were here doing that work, they asked if a new outlet also needed installed. I called my salesman, Chris B., who said my existing outlet would work; no new one needed.When the site inspector (contracted by Sandy SS) came to check everything over prior to appliance delivery, he informed me that a new, 4-prong outlet had to be installed. I told him I had checked with the store and was told the existing one was okay, to which he stated “I’ve told the Store Staff that Kitchen Aid and Jenn-Air come with factory-installed cords that require (a particular) 4-prong outlet.”I had to wait several weeks to get an electrician back in, for which I incurred an additional $315 charge.I promptly called Sandy SS to ask that they pay this additional charge as it was incurred based on their erroneous information. I have texted/called Salesman/Dept. Mgr. Chris B. for over four months, and having no movement toward resolution contacted the Store Manager Andrea over a month ago, who promised to contact Corporate for resolution. To date and two phone calls thus far have yielded the same response from Customer Service: “Andrea is in the middle of helping a customer and will call you back.” ⏰******Original Review (Fall 2021), before delivery:Having looked for months for appliances in these crazy times, meeting Chris B @ Big Sandy stuck with me: his extensive, in-depth knowledge of appliances, and patience with my myriad questions. Update after delivery:Was a First time big sandy customer…Bought a washer, dryer, fridge and purple mattress for a November delivery. The dryer is totally damaged. A dent in the side of the fridge. The store says they have no control of delivery (weird given they contract the work and are the customer in that relationship) i have to wait 8 days for a replacement and that was only after requiring more urgent action. I get things happen. But asking to be moved up for a delivery that was not my fault is not an unreasonable request.Disappointed with the original communication and follow up by Big Sandy but I have updated my review to reflect now with resolution. I will revise if needed.
We do alot of business with big Sandys. There customer service is awesome. I want to send kudos to John and his coworker. They delivered a couch to me this morning our home is a new build muddy as ever. They had shoes covered in mud took them off at the door never complained 1 time. Knowing they had more delivery to make we got them cleaned up.
I had and amazing shopping experience with both of my salesmen Yousaf S. and Christopher Brown. Both men were friendly, knowledgeable, and patience with my mother and I in the decision making process for for our new sofa and washer and dryer. In addition, the accounting/cashier representative was very helpful in upgrading my credit to complete my customer experience.
I could not have asked for a better experience at Big Sandy. My fiancé and I went to browse the mattress and furniture selection and were impressed not only by the selection and quality of products but by the stellar service of the sales staff. Michelle in the furniture section was a delight. She gave us plenty of time to look around and wasnt at all pushy. She had expert knowledge of their products, answered all our questions, and even helped confirm (as we did independently) that we were getting the best deal. The couch set we got was priced hundreds less than the competitors. Scott in the mattress section assisted as well and was equally helpful and knowledgeable. They both made the purchase process very easy and set us up with great discounts and easy delivery options. I highly recommend visiting this store and well definitely be returning next time were in the market. FIVE STARS!
We visited Big sandy 3 times in a row before we made our decision. Each time the sales people helped us and were very patient with us when we could not come to a decision. They were so helpful when we finally purchased our items and helped us secure the discounts that applied to us. This is my second time purchasing with Big Sandy and I am very satisfied also I am please that I was able to get financing on my first purchase in 2018 to cover half of my 4 appliances group for my fist house. Flash forward 2021 I was able to double that financial assistance to more new items for my house. I will have this paid off over a yr. I will definitely shop here again for other items for my house. I want to say thank you to corie in furniture and Scott in mattresses for helping us in the store
Todays glaring review is dedicated to Ms. Michelle at the Polaris location. I went there to find an ottoman and immediately saw the one I wanted. It was a floor model but about $100+ more than I wanted to send. Michelle knew I had been online and saw Ashley had it for less. She immediately offered me the match price and making my budget. Made My Damn Day!!!! Im soooo happy. Thank you Michelle.
Made a purchase several months ago and acquired a big sandy gift card with my purchase. Went in to purchase a television today and couldn’t use the gift card because it was for mattresses or furniture only (items that have huge markup and essentially Big Sandy still makes good money on these items). These promotional gift cards after spending thousands of dollars on a purchase just to be told you can only use the gift cards on certain item categories is ridiculous. It’s just a scam to get you back in the store. We did not purchase the TV at Big Sandy and instead went somewhere else.
I could not have had a worse experience with the Polaris Ohio Big Sandy Superstore. I had placed an order for a dishwasher and the one that was delivered did not work. I called the store multiple times and even went in person to talk to the manager Brian who was very unapologetic. Later in the week I was contacted by someone else who was helpful at first and did return my money for the delivery and installation however that is where the helpfulness ended. We set up another time for the new dishwasher to be delivered but they left prior to the agreed upon time and another time had to be set up. I called the store to speak to this other person (I can’t remember her name) 5+ times always being assured she would call right back. I never heard back from her but got a text stating that my delivery would be happening on a Saturday. When the delivery occurred the people delivering the dishwasher had no idea what was going on and switched out the dishwasher. Thankfully this dishwasher works but it is installed crooked and the side of my cabinet is damaged. I still have not heard back from them and it has been 2 weeks. Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not do business with them.
My husband and I were looking to purchase a refrigerator. He suggested we go to Big Sandys. We had a great experience. We liked the salesman who worked with us. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He was not pushy. He really tried to accommodate our needs. He was so great we bought our refrigerator from him. I also bought the extended warranty as it felt like a good protection in the event of something outside our control were to happen. Did I mention his name?? THANK YOU Greg Jackson. Literally, the worst service and most importantly delivery process i have ever seen. 4 weeks after buying a bed, my wife and I are still sleeping on the bed which is on the floor with no slats. I dont know whats better, the bed or the people that work there that just take turns passing you around to the next schmo. I also enjoy the woman who answers the phone who likes to eat while you wait for her to look you up in their system. I really enjoy listening to her chomp her food. TRUST ME ON THIS- buy your furniture ANYWHERE but here. This place is a dumpster fire. Im speechless at this stage but if you read reviews and you take the time to read this one, know this, BIG Sandy is the worst of the worst. Run for the hills. Have a good day and buy elsewhere. On to the next site to leave another fabulous review of Big Sandy. I will share my experience so hopefully others do not make the same poor decision I did to buy from here.
Ive always had good experiences in this store. Process are fair and employees are the right amount of helpful without being bothersome. They have a unique mix of furniture and other things. I was also happy that they are willing to work with pricing against other retailers. Will always give them a look!
Bobby was on point in keeping us in the loop about what is in stock and what will take some extra time to ship. He was great about getting us the good deals and showing us around to all of the options - not just the expensive ones. He made sure our clearance table worked properly. And suggested a great deal on getting a mattress too! I was very pleased by the shopping experience at Big Sandy in Polaris!
Great shopping experience! The people in the store were very pleasant and professional. I was able to get my order delivered the same day due to the incredible delivery service. The guys who brought me my fridge were on it. In and out, super fast and efficient. They also kept me informed of when they were coming, great communication. Everyone is so kind and so helpful. I feel like there is always a deal going on to help families find affordable furniture. Not to mention the honesty!! Wow... someone made a mistake and the manager approached my family and corrected the mistake right then and there. It saved us $100.Im not going to get this type of honesty anywhere else. Im sorry but... they just earned a customer for life by being so open, honest, and helpful! They really want to make sure you as the customer is happy with your purchase, whatever it might be.
Osu-Mi game day. Hesitated to go in since it looked like i would be the only customer. Sales staff gave me space and ultimately bought the stove there that i was “just looking” for. Sales staff seemed to hear what i wasnt saying as well as what i was and actually moved us down from the highest end to a great stove. Takes courage to sell down instead of up but got more satisfied customers this way. Well done. Well explained.
Buy appliances and delay after delay. So call to cancel and Chris wants to tell me that I will only get a store credit. I’ve been dedicated to this store already bought furniture from there and want to give me a store credit for over 6 thousand dollars! Like I want a refund! You can’t deliver my appliances. They’re not in store or moved from warehouse so I deserve a refund. So buyers beware and just go to Best Buy save yourself thousands and steer clear of Chris for sure
I would give zero stars if it was an option. Took our order back in March and here it is in November. Items we ordered were apparently discontinued and NOBODY notified us of this and now will not answer our calls. DO NOT BUY FROM!!!! They still have our moneyIn response to you:We WERE NOT TOLD. Until we asked about it! Supposedly we are getting them end of January. I get that there’s a supply issue but don’t pretend you were in touch with us!
We came in looking for dressers and sofas. With the lack of products right now, it has been difficult finding something in stock or even available in the near future. We were helped by Sales Rep Julie Reed at the Polaris Parkway store, and she did a phenomenal job working with our needs. Would highly recommend stopping in and asking for her.
We visited Big Sandy as well as Best Buy, Home Depot, and Lowes before making a decision on our appliances purchase. Greg (our salesman) helped put together the right choice of products for our needs, without trying to up-sell or steer us towards other products. We feel like we got the best package of products, and that we got very competitive pricing for everything. Will be coming back to Big Sandy for more home purchases in the future.
My wife and I went to Big Sandys in Polaris, OH. We were approached by a gentleman named Greg Jackson. He was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable! We are building a home and our home will not be done for 6 months or so. Greg gave us great direction, he even knew our dimensions from our builder. We decided to do the price lock for a refrigerator, washer and dryer. We also purchased the warranty, which was explained to us, that if not used within 5 years we actually get that as a credit to use in their store. That honestly played a big factor in our decision to go through with the purchase. I highly recommend Big Sandys. So far everything has been great. We don’t have our appliances yet so once we move into our new home, Big Sandy delivers and installs, i will write another review. Please note, if you do go to Big Sandys in Polaris OH, I am sure all reps are knowledgeable, but Greg we felt went above and beyond and my wife and I sincerely appreciate it.
I cannot be more dissatisfied with my experience “trying” to do business at Big Sandy. When the bed I ordered arrived, the bed was defective. My options were: receive a credit ($80) which would not cover the expense to have someone fix the bed, exchange the item - with no priority given to redelivery or the expense I incurred waiting for this delivery let alone waiting for it to be redelivered in a second 4 hour window or just simply return the product. I felt sorry for the delivery team. They were given no support when they called for help and I was treated as if I had created the issue myself. I opted to return the product. This experience actually cost me more than the item was worth. I will NEVER purchase anything from this organization again. They do not value the customer nor have pride in delivering a quality product.
Greg was efficient in finding a dishwasher that met our 3 main feature requirements. He is very knowledgeable about the products & made sure any option was actually available (during these times of strange manufacturer delays). We appreciated his efforts & professionalism. Thank you.
I told the saleswoman who wanted me to put money down on an expensive sectional. I put all the money between a credit card and my synchrony account. When I went back the next day to show my wife the sectional I found out we weren’t holding it. She charged our accounts. Didn’t ask to do so. All I was doing was “holding” it because she claimed there weren’t very many units left in the warehouse. When I asked about paying cash for that unit she claimed it was already purchased. I don’t like being lied to and her only caring about her commissions. Frustrating for sure. Holding and purchasing should not be confused. I spent over 8 thousand dollars in that store yesterday buying new appliances and furniture. Also I was charged about $500 dollars for a five year warranty on a washer and dryer that I was told came with it. Sales people are not all together truthful and I am sure only caring about their wages. Don’t get caught up in their trickery. Maybe even shop somewhere else. I don’t think I will be back there. Just hope the orders are delivered properly. If you want any kitchen tables and or coffee table and end tables be prepared to wait 6 months to a year. And no you can’t buy it off the floor.
I purchased a LG washer and dryer. I have not been able to use the washer due to a short. When the delivery tech move the machine, a short made a popping noise. The tech told me to contact an electrician in which the electrician said there was nothing wrong with the electrical outlet. The short happened again when the electrician moved the washer. Water was leaking from the hose. I called the service department to have someone find out whats wrong. He said the electric outlet was good and that there was some kind of sticky stuff in the back of the washer. He ordered another hose packet and plug. I got a text saying that I will be charged for the plug because it was not covered. I found out that the tech said that I wanted the plug. I did not say I wanted a plug. Whether I said it or not, why should I have to pay for a plug for a brand new washer. The washer was delivered on 9/22/21 and I have not been able to use it. It takes some time for a tech to come out. Today a tech will come to replace the hose. If it doesnt work then I should get another washer. I would have rate my experience with a 5 but the issue with the washer and not being able to use it makes me very unhappy. The salesman was very helpful and didnt pressure me into purchasing the dryer and washer.

This company is a joke!! I would not even give it one star but I had to in order to post this. I went into the store to shop for furniture on 7/19; my salesperson was Kaitlin and I explained I was looking for furniture that was in stock since I just moved into the area. She pointed me to the displays that had a Mylar balloon which indicated that item was in stock. I chose a couch, side chair, end table, bed set and entertainment all that had a balloon and spent over $3000! When I worked with Kaitlin she said I would have ALL of my furniture by the middle of August at the latest; and I would have my side chair by the end of Aug. To date, on Sept 3rd, I only have my BED!!!! The communication from this company is absolutely absurd!! I was promised by Kaitlin my couch, chest and side chair would be delivered on 9/4. I then received a call two days later stating they had overbooked the deliveries on 9/4 and I would have to wait until 9/11 to have it delivered!!! I travel Mon-Fri so I am not home during the week to accept deliveries!!! I have never experienced such poor customer service and empty promises from a retail store before!! Needless to say, I am going to request a refund for all the outstanding furniture I have not receied. My daughter also purchased furniture from this location and had nothing but difficulty as well; broken furniture when it was delivered, refused to come back and fix it or replace it. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN and will report them to the BBB.
Right when I walked to Big Sandy on Polaris Parkway, I was greeted and directed where to go. Once in the appliance department, I was helped by Greg who was super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I was torn between 2 brands and he helped me make my decision by answering all my questions and then some! I’m very excited for my new Electrolux washer and dryer to be delivered!!!

From start to finish my experience in purchasing my appliances with Darren and most recently my dining set with Brooke was nothing short of AMAZING! Low pressure to buy, answered every question and were more than patient with us as we followed thru on our purchase. Big Shady should be their name. Paid $1300 + $300 (service contract) for a washer that never worked right. On delivery soap drawer had mold in it and they told me it was from the factory... sure. Pretty sure they sold me a used unit. It never worked right and shook the entire house. It completely blew and they made us wait 13 days for a service guy to come and spend 10 minutes to tell us they have to order parts that will take an additional 10-12 days. I even took it apart and told them the issue and to come with the parts. Place is a joke. Their loss though, about to drop a lot of money on other appliances but it wont be there.
Ricardo at the Polaris Store was a huge help with our appliance purchase! He was patient and answered all of our questions and let us take our time figuring out what was best for our family. He also helped us with price matching other stores! He checked on us prior to and after delivery and made sure things were seamless. I can not say enough about Ricardo’s outstanding customer service.
Christopher B. Was able to help us pick a dryer that works for us, and being on a time crunch that day, he was able to get us in and out quickly which was great. Fast forward 4 days later to delivery day and the delivery guys inform me that I need to keep the power cord from my old broken dryer because “the new ones don’t come with power cords”. My $1200 dryer doesn’t include a power cord…that’s apparently extra. The delivery guys also told me that they couldn’t hook up my new dryer, because I’d be hooking it up with the old power cord. SMH. That would’ve been nice to know anytime between looking at the models on the floor, and it’s delivery time.
Hayden greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. He was super helpful and very pleasant to work with during the furniture shopping process. Another gentleman whos name I did not get assisted us also and he was very polite. The store was clean and well stocked. I went in for a dining room table and ended up with a dining table, couch and ottoman. I will be returning in the future for a bedroom set. I highly recommend this store. Make sure to ask for Hayden when you stop in! Hes the best!
On Saturday a dishwasher was delivered and installed. When we tried to use it, it does not work.I called the store first thing Sunday when they opened. I was told Manager Brian would call me right back. I waited 2 hours and called again and was assured he would call as soon as he was done with his current customer. After another hour 1.5 hours I drove to the store where Brian was easily found standing doing nothing.I asked what could be done about the dishwasher and after receiving no apology and no assistance he was assured I would be called the next day. I was told I would receive a refund of my delivery and installation.I have now still not received a call. I received a single text message asking for a picture and have been told I am on a wait list.Essentially, 2 days ago I was given a non-working dishwasher, no one will contact me, there is no plan to fix it or have it replaced, and I feel very confident my refund was not done. It seems more like a scam than anything and I am out serious money and have no dishwasher.
We purchased a 4-piece set of appliances from the store at Polaris Mall recently. The salesman was very helpful and the installation was quick. I gave 1 star because of the mess left behind. We had parts left on the floor, the counters and on the front porch. Dust from drilling was not attempted to be picked up and they left the microwave box, filled with stuff, in a separate room of the house. I sent 3 emails to the salesman to address and to have the box picked up, and he replied saying he forwarded the message to management at the store. There have been zero replies from management. This was my first and last purchase with Big Sandy.
We bought 5 major appliances: fridge, range, dishwasher, beverage fridge, micro. Remodeling and manuf. delays complicated experience making communication necessary. Prices are about like elsewhere. Our salesman was pretty helpful, although he said some things that werent true or indicated dysfunction: repeatedly, he said he didnt get our messages. He claimed to be out of town, when store said he was at nearby location for training. Also, his managers didnt seem to get messages either. Satisfaction with products varied quite a bit.
Changed my rating to a 1 star as I have been having major issues with getting the rebates as advertised. I purchased an appliance package and have not been able to even submit the rebate after months of calls and messages to the store. I have made multiple trips to the store and called them 10+ times and still cant get any resolution. I would not trust their mail-in-rebates, my next step is to file a complaint with the BBB and the AGs office.
This is for the Polaris location. We ordered a custom couch in January. We had to pay in full upfront because it was custom. The estimated delivery was May. The sales lady would occasionally text saying she was “watching the order” but didn’t have an update. Once May came, we were told August delivery??? We called and had a discussion that August was our limit. We told them it had to be in by then or we were canceling the order. We were told no problem. Well...we then get a text in June saying the couch is now estimated for September. We called the manufacturer (craft master) directly. They said they are extremely behind and were not filling custom orders...We called and let the receptionist know that we were canceling and needed our refund. She said no problem. Two days later we receive a text from our sales lady saying that big sandy is keeping 30% of the total to restock the couch. How can a store restock an item that doesn’t exist? An item they didn’t even manufacture, an item they never intend to manufacture? This is complete fraud. They take thousands of orders, never fill them and then demand to keep 30%. We called in and let them know that we were getting our full refund. It was sent within the hour. If this has happened to you too, please fight for your money.
We placed an order for a sectional on 1/15/21. The salesman said it would take 12-16 weeks to be delivered to us. The salesman was extremely easy to work with compared to other companies, which ultimately made us buy from Big Sandy’s. He was constantly in contact with us letting us know that he hasn’t heard from the production company, but would let us know as soon as he did.We are now regretting going with Big Sandy’s. I hadn’t heard from our salesman for a while and reached out to him numerous times and got no answer. When I finally called the store, I was told it was his last day that day. On this day, it was almost the 16 week mark. The employee on the phone then said the computer showed we would receive our order early May, and that it had previously showed late May. This would have been outside the quoted time frame. I explained my frustrations with the employee and she said that a new sales person would take over my order and would contact me.3 weeks later, no response. I called the store yesterday and the lady that answered the phone said that it now shows we won’t receive the sectional until late June. I, again, explained my frustrations with the lack of communication and now later delivery date. She then transferred me to my new saleswoman. I explained to her my situation and she looks up my order, and says I won’t receive it until September! I told her what the previous lady told me and she said “Well I don’t know where she’s seeing that”. In a matter of 30 seconds, my expected delivery date changed 3 months. With no explanation as to why.I paid $3,000 cash, up front, for a sectional that was supposed to be received April-early May. Now I’m being told I won’t get it until September.The employee did not offer anything to remedy the situation, other than to “hang in there” and wait for my order. We went from being very pleased and having nothing but good things to say about Big Sandy’s, to regretting this very decision.
Michelle Shull was so knowledgeable and helpful during our whole experience and helped us get a great new bedroom set! She was very attentive to what we were looking for and wasn’t hovering or over bearing when we wanted time to think it over before proceeding. We recommend big sandy and Michelle for any and all furniture needs!
I am beyond fed up with this company. I ordered 2 complete kitchen sets in February. I told the sales person it was for a new home and had to be ready around July or August. I called in August to have my sets delivered and only received part of the sets. Plus one of the ranges was damaged. I have had to have repairs on both refrigerators. With no help from them. They made us call the manufacturer. I have been waiting since August for the range. I told them last week I will get ahold of the BBB and AG office. They said they will deliver today. I am waiting on my delivery that was supposed to be between 3pm and 7pm. It is now 8 pm and they are saying another hour. They delivered almost 3 hrs late with another damaged range!!! I will be getting a hold of both the BBB and AG office.
We purchased a washer and dryer from Big Sandy, and were very pleased with the service, delivery, and staff. We went back to Big Sandy for the purchase of a new sectional because of how happy we were with our previous experience. We placed an order for a special order sectional(end of September/early October) and were told 60 days. Was a little disappointed that it was going to take that long, but we decided to go ahead. We received a text... Not a phone call... that our new furniture would not be ready till MID FEBRUARY!!! Since we special ordered, we couldnt cancel. Not very happy this time around. Not sure we will go back. Will say the salespeople are very nice.*Edited*Due to covid everything is so far behind when it comes to delivery like furniture and other big items. Hated waiting as long as we had to but we are extremely happy with our new sectional. It is the most comfortable living room furniture Ive ever had. The delivery guys were extremely efficient and did a great job bringing it in and putting it together for us.
Great experience, Brooke was super helpful. I told her the dimensions of couch I was looking for and she walked me around the showroom to show me 5 or 6 options that might work and we ended up find the exact couch to fit what I needed for a really good price. When I price checked other companies they were all $100 or more for the same product. Totally going to come back for any furnishings in the future i need!
Greg was very helpful to me. He did not oversell me. I let him know what I wanted and he was great to help me with everything. It was very friendly and that is something I always appreciate in any customer service agent. I have known Big Sandy Furniture for years and appreciate their great reputation.
No one greeted us as me and my wife enter the store we walked around the whole store without anyone saying anything to us we get over to electronics and they’re are three guys just sitting down come to find out one of the gentlemen was the manager of the store very disappointing in the service that we did not get today 3/31/22
Katlin Chance helped us out and she was great! She educated us on the products and services Big Sandy offered. We ended up getting a couch, chair, and an ottoman. She also followed up with emails confirming the pick up and quality of the furniture after purchasing.Thank you!
Ricardo was my sales person. I spoke to him on the phone first and then I went to Polaris and purchased my Maytag washer and dryer. Ricardo knew a great deal about the washer and dryer. I had done a lot of research prior. He was well informed and truly believes in his employer. If I need any appliances in the future I would be sure to check in with Ricardo.
Michelle Shull26 was very nice polite, really took the time out and helped us find the right furniture for us ,all of her suggestions was taking in consideration for our good . This was our first time at Big Sandy Superstore and I was so happy we went . I was approved for some nice furniture for my family.
Charles Williams at the Polaris location was SO helpful in the purchasing process...super knowledgeable, not pushy but followed up with us. He was accommodating to my (young) children who were there with me (even had treats for them)! I recommended him to our friends who are looking for appliances as well...two thumbs up from me!!
First time shopping at Big Sandy’s Superstore. I was pleasantly surprised. Upon my entry I was greeted by Brooke, explained that I was just looking and she gave me the space and time to look around. She was very easy to locate to answer any questions I had and if she didn’t have the answer, she went to get it for me. I ended up making the purchase of new living room furniture and TV after shopping at several different stores. Mainly because they actually had the selection in stock and for how welcoming I felt without being pressured into a sale.Thank you Brooke for the wonderful experience. I’m looking forward to having my furniture delivered next week.
I ordered my furniture today using payment agreement. Upon my entry to the store sales rep greeted me personably with a well composed style and was visiting to see if I needed any questions answered throughout my visit. Sales rep aided me since rep said todays one-time price sale would end soon; rep discovered and informed me about 90 days same as cash and other payment plan options -- no credit check required. I communicated that I can get the money together, so this made an impression that I am definitely interested in the said furniture. No detail was missed: my questions were carefully, promptly, and clearly answered. I have yet to see the Delivery and Payment experience through, as I was informed the furniture is on backorder, but overall experience: excellent sales and service.
I purchased a couple of items online and paid for delivery. I went into the store the next day to add items on my order because they were a cheaper price at Ashley and I wanted Big Sandy to price match. ( I wanted the item from Big Sandy to avoid paying for another delivery cost if I had ordered from Ashley). The lady at customer service counter informed me that she would reach out later that day and send me a payment code for the two night stands that I wanted to add to the order. About an hour later I received an email stating when my online order would be delivered, but I never heard anything from the customer service rep about adding the nightstands. I called the store the next day and was told that the store could not add to my order since it was an online order. I would need to call the online sales department. I reached someone at the online sales department and was told that not only can Big Sandy price match they could price beat, and in addition to the two night stands I wanted to order the gentleman would check the prices on the other items in my cart to make sure I was getting the best deal. Since the order was already set up for delivery the system required that the rep did something special to add to the order. I was assured that I would still get all of my items together and I would be getting a phone call the next morning to confirm and a payment link would be sent to me. I never received a phone call or the payment link. Fast forward to today I got confirmation that my order will be delivered tomorrow and Im upset because my nightstands were never added. To make matters worse the nightstands are no longer on sale at Ashley so I missed that deal too. I gave one star because this issue will cause me to shell out more money than I had too, and I will not have all of my merchandise as I should have if Big Sandy would have followed through on its promises. Poor communication
This was our first time inside Big Sandy Superstore. It was recommended by a good friend of ours and our experience was great. We met a very nice appliance salesman and planned to revisit the next day. We were most impressed by the fact that Big Sandy has a ready supply of appliances and the potential for delivery in just a very few days.
I am giving a 1 star because of the service department. When we brought our washer and dryer we purchased a 3 year service plan. When we needed the washer serviced less than 7 months after purchasing, we were told it would be a week, but we would not have a time frame until the day before. I didnt hear from them until after 5pm. I found out I would not be available for part of the time-frame. I called the scheduling department and was told that I was going to have to wait an additional 3 weeks. I was also told I would again have to wait until the day before to get a 3 hour time-frame. What is the point of purchasing a service plan that requires you to meet their requirements?
Greg was absolutely wonderful and not pushy at all. Was extremely helpful in our appliance package purchase.However, my wife was ready to purchase $4500 in leather furniture, but the furniture sales people were too busy sitting around chatting or playing on their telephones to help her, so we will go elsewhere.

2022-07-18This place was great. I bought a new microwave here. The sales people were not pushy, and very informative about the products when asked.Plus they have a ton of massage chairs you can try out. Theres so much stuff here, you can easily spend an hour in the blink of an eye.

2021-12-28This review is really 4 1/2 stars but they dont do halves on here. So the shopping experience was excellent. Tom in the mattress section was great. Showed me what was in my price range, had a few comments, then left me to it but made sure to tell me where he would be if I had questions. He wasnt trying to follow me around or check in on me every 5 minutes. So the store experience was solid but they lose half a star on delivery. Not the actual delivery. Those guys were great, quick like ninjas. Big Sandy loses half a star because you dont know the delivery window until the day before. So you set up a day then wait for the time to be revealed the day before delivery. Come on now, even the cable company can set you up with a date and a time window. If you can easily take off work or someone else can be there for the delivery this isnt a huge deal but I could have had my mattress a week sooner if they could provide time windows further in advance. But overall they get 4 1/2 stars.

2022-06-06My experience from start to finish was excellent at the Polaris location. I bought furniture and Matt B was my sales person. He was amazing, very patient and knowledgeable. He made the process, which I over analyzed, fun and seamless. I also purchased a mattress. Scott G was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, communicated throughout and followed up with me after delivery to ensure everything went well. Delivery went perfect. John and Jacob were both great. They showed up on time, professional and friendly. They ensured the product was in great condition and delivered seamlessly. A big thank you to Matt, Scott, John and Jacob for making the experience with Big Sandy a great one. Appreciate all you do!!!

2022-01-21We had a great first experience with Big Sandy. Hayden was super helpful but gave us plenty of space to look around the sales floor and chat, didn’t feel overwhelmed like you can feel at other places. We had our table delivered the following week and the 2 gentlemen were very nice, worked quickly and took all of the trash with them after assembly. We will definitely be back for our future furniture needs.

2022-02-03My husband and I went appliance shopping and decided to check out Big Sandy. We have never purchased items from there before but heard good things. Well they didnt disappoint. Our sales representative was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and honest with us on the products and helped us make a decision that was right for us! We will be shopping there again for sure!

2022-02-19Our sales person was very knowledgeable and a joy to work with! He took his time and addressed all of our questions. There was no pressure to purchase the most expensive appliances. After our appliances arrived, the refrigerator felt too big for our space and when we asked about an exchange they were great to deal with. This is our second major purchase from Big Sandy and it’s the first place we look for furniture and appliances.

One of the other sales people even reviewed Ian’s order with him to make sure we didn’t miss a discount or extended warranty.. I was impressed with the “team” of sales people on the floor. 2022-03-18While helping my grandparents shop for power rocker recliners that were in stock in 2021 we came across some obstacles due to the pandemic most things were not in stock and in 2022 they continue to be hard to find. During that experience we went to many places and Big Sandy was by far the best experience and the best in stock selection. They also had the best customer service. My grandparents were treated with the respect they deserve and it meant the world to me. One salesperson in particular stood out, Michelle. I cant thank her enough for helping us with her friendly, respectful, and helpful attitude.I will now be a customer of Big Sandy when I need furniture because of how they treated my family. Big Sandy at Polaris gets a five stars from me and they gained more than one loyal customer.

2022-02-28The sales rep was nice however, he provided false information. The delivery drivers were the rudest that I have ever dealt with. I was told and paid for haul away only to have the service refused by the delivery team and their manager. The stores manager did end up driving out to me to haul away himself and refunded the fee however this was not sufficient. I went over the dimensions of the new couch twice with the sales rep and was ensured it would fit. The delivery drivers repeatedly stated that the new couch would not fit through the door. The new couch was no bigger than my old couch. After arguing back and forth between the store and the drivers they moved the new couch in with zero issues. Upon moving the old couch out onto my front door step they damaged the door frame and this was not due to a size issue this was due to their lack of concern and need to simply move on. Excuses and the blame game on both ends. I wont make the mistake of shopping with big sandy again.

2022-02-18We were extremely pleased with the sales staff- All of our questions were answered about the products that we were interested in. Although we did not purchase the couch and love seat we initially asked about, we did purchase a beautiful painting that will be the focal point of our family room.Im sure that we will return as other needs arise.
