Rooms at the hotel and Jethros are nice. Staff at the hotel apparently doesnt know how to process a cc payment and now management wont return a call after taking an extra $300+ from my account. Be careful!
Stay out of this hotel they have hidden fees the charge your credit card statement on non existent damage to the room then you tried to get your money back the manager said one thing but the owner said something else. They are not customer friendly they go in to your credit card and put in any amount they want saying thats the damage to the room. They also show no class when after a number of calls they still dont return your calls
Excellent! The rooms are very clean. The staff is amazing. 100% satisfied. They are still upgrading the property but no issues. 2 restaurants on site, bar and gym. Highly recommend this place. GREAT JOB.
All rooms not yet updated but very clean. Room rates are good. Yum Yum Restaurant located on premise for breakfast and lunch, good food great prices. Jethros Tiki Hut open for dinner and cocktails with weekend entertainment. Pool, hot tub, full gym you couldnt ask for any more.

The updated rooms are clean and crisp. However, room 136 was lacking shower caddy, towel hooks, hand towel hooks, and the shower refused to drain. I had to end my shower early to keep the basin from overflowing. I am hoping this is just because the room was not yet finished. Concerts at Jethros are not affiliated with the inn, and you still have to pay the cover charge. Noise levels at the hotel was obnoxious, especially at three in the morning. We have, however, stayed on a couple other occasions with minimal issues. It is a great value for the money.
Went to the front desk to ask for a towel was told the pool was closed due to them having a shock it was told the pool with an open until 12:30 went to the swimming pool which was very dirty went to the hot tub which was very dirty when we spoke with the assistant manager about the dirtiness of the pool and the hot tub he told us that the hot tub wasnt open and the pool was clean so not very happy paid $100.00 for a weekend not sure I will do this again. Internet doesnt work very well at all .
Upon first entering the room I was truly impressed. I have stayed at many hotels and for the price this one is great! I have not yet tried the food here, but by looking at the pool, this establishment is very clean. Will highly recommend to my colleagues
Outside is pretty.I requested a wake up call aamd didnt get one. In return i was 8 hr late for work. Then the manager tried to rush me out, so they can clean the room.I dont recommend this motel.
In five years nothing has improved. Only the rooms in the two buildings by the road are decent, the diner isnt bad, the bar is OK, but the other 40 rooms are varying degrees of awful. Smells, stains, water damage, broken furniture, burns, and, yes, finally a bed bug. I dont normally leave reviews but zero investment is made in the three original buildings. A real dump. If the add says remodeled its false.
Very disappointed upon entering the room it smelled like smoke there was two blood spots on the wall the bedspread had dirt on it they definitely definitely need to update and clean up the room I was in we only booked it because we wanted to spend a couple days around the pool it was for girls trying to have a fun weekend the pool was closed and they did not notify us I want to call the front desk and the phone didn’t even have a cord to the wall Stayed there August 21
The toilet water was BROWN with a brown ring. The water had stuff floating in it. The place smelled completely awful when I got in.. I just opened the door for fine minutes and got used to it..I woke up by a LAWN MOWER.... why would you mow the lawn to a HOTEL on a SATURDAY MORNING?The evening guy never smiled or even looked me in the eye. I asked him if I could pay more for a late check-out and e said I could stay until 2pm at the latest. Then the girl in the morning told me I couldnt because people are staying in it. Which is cool... I just wish the guy before didnt tell me I could.. Its just poor management. You get what you pay for I guess.
Good down home food, very affordable. We had breakfast. Eggs and bacon were cooked just right. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive.
Had to change rooms because the heat wouldnt kick on. The motor was on but blowing cold air into the room. Manager wanted to wait a few for a different result of the heater! Same result, no heat! They finally allowed a room change. The heat did work in the second room.
Poor service all the way around, the bar tender spills a drink on you and they allow the Mexicans to throw glass in the pool also allowed them to drink by the pool when sign said otherwise. Children coundnt swim safely as they were being cut up from glass and all from grown men. Not very courtesy workers either house keep are extremely nosey. Get on to your children for anything the gonna call the police, tell my children to hush so I could hear what an adult was saying to me. Yes they called the police to put me off the property but I did nothing to anyone. Ohio laws are the same anywhere a women being chased by an angry man and the women is wrong no, the man is when the women and children are trying to leave he keeps the mother from them until the polices are there but then they have her and the kids leave for the night. What did they do to the man nothing at all but you get a little bit loud as a mother your wrong to them. In my opinion they only care about men coming to there hotel, as there was only women working other then the cook was a man. They half cleaned up things also not a nice place at all.
No internet.very little cell phone svc.$25 flat rate for laundry wash,dry and thrown in bag.loud music on fri and sat nite at the new tiki loungegreat menu at tiki loungenice pool and hot tubDo not stay in same building that office is in. when the inside office door closes it shakes the rooms upstairs.Most rooms newly remodeled.If your a drinker and partier, this is the place for you!!

My father had a car accident while he was staying here, they kept his room for him while he was in the hospital. Would recommend people like this to anyone.
Its all been done very nice and the bar and restaurant has excellent food and the dairy still is one of my all time favorites and has been around since I was a baby alot of good memories
Very nice place to stay got little bit of everything drink some beers and and eat good food bouncers are in good all employees are excellent there to help any need you need get up in the morning go to the dairy yum yum right there and eat breakfast
Terrible rates and distgusting rooms. Dont stay here unless you absolutely have to. Toilet didnt work couldnt get front desk to answer he phone. All around terrible if I could do less than 1 star I would.

Didnt stay at the hotel. Ate at the restaurant in the building. The hotel bhaigas been remodeled and there is a pool and bar with live music.

Had to figure out how to get into the bar area but didnt get there till late. They tried to charge us at the door an they was only open for maybe 30 more mins.

Not sure how this gets passed as acceptable to rent out but it did with this establishment... disgusting room... had to go to the office everyday to renew our keys because they would stop working everyday...
Charges 150 for deposit plus 80 a night and its not that nice

2022-05-09Pool wasnt open yet but looked very nice. I was here for 3 weeks for work and for the rate we received I was very happy with my stay. Room was nice and big tv and comfy bed. There is no cable just roku/app/smart tv ..or mirror phone.

2021-12-04Supposedly newly remodeled well cinderblock walls and dark brown paneling in the room I was in along with the pitiful baseboard heat and the Roku tv had not one app on it no cable just free tv with antennae cobwebs in the corners bathtub was stained filthy and we paid $190 for 2 nights what a joke should rename it the jailhouse inn the food in the fridge was left here by someone else lol

2021-10-31The dirtiest grossest place Ive ever seen. Hair everywhere including on the toilet bowl and clean towels. And the room had been cleaned! Dont rent from this place! I didnt stay...asked for a refund...if I dont get it I will dispute with MasterCard.

2020-04-12Okay, so let me just start with this review is based on the ONE Pet-Friendly room that they offer. Only one is available for pets. No, just no. Pet-owners, go elsewhere. The worst smelling, most outdated (like since the 70s or something) room weve ever been in. (We travel all over and stay in multiple hotels per year. This was the worst, in terms of our room. It was also dirty so I literally sprayed everything down before we brought in luggage. With that being said, the staff were nice enough. Jethros restaurant was closed due to covid-19 so no opinion on that. Yum Yums restaurant on site was delicious the one time we had it. Hours seemed off due to the virus. (Even take out hours) We glimpsed some of the updated cabins and they looked great. Especially the ones with kitchenettes. Over-all, we wont stay again as long as we have our 2 small dogs. But non-pet owners may get a better room. Also, the gym was adequate, though a couple machines did not work, most light bulbs were out so it was nearly dark. And definitely clean the machines first as the ones I used felt sticky even though the virus was going around. (I cleaned them before and after use)

2018-07-13Being attacked by bed bugs, I have tried to handle it nicely had a room switch which seem to have made matters worse, so instead of acknowledging the problem theyre blaming it on possibly being allergic to the laundry soap when theyre clearly huge bites. Very frustrating. The new rooms are adequate, the food is good, nice to relax by the pool and the hot tub.

2017-08-18This was a very cozy, comfortable, relaxing, convienent home away- from- home. My daughter absolutely loved the pool and the food at the onsite restaurant was delicious. The room I stayed in had beautiful wood trimmed walls around the bathroom sink vanity and very comfortable beds. The staff went out of the way to accommodate me. Definitely a place Ill be staying again!

2015-09-07September 2015- was under impression ALL rooms had been updated. Reserved room two weeks in advance, drove two hours, opened door and did not make it past the first bed. Room was VERY old and smelled of mold/mildew, dirty carpet and the air conditioner was about the size of a detergent box, so was also very hot. The hotel has been updated, pool great, tiki bar great, restaurant great but, make sure you ask for a updated room. The front desk guy was very friendly and asked if there was anything he could do, but I was unable to get a updated room so I cancelled and he was very nice about it. I did not stay, but will return ONLY if I can get one of their updated rooms.
