I was a long time customer until this year . I dropped off several watches for repair in Dec they we reluctant to return any off my phones calls, got some of them back in Feb then had to get in contact with the BBB ( with whom they have an F rating) for them to finally return my calls in SEPTEMBER!!! Only to realize I was missing two watches which Josh becai rude and disrespectful about claiming they never received them .my hunch is they with lost or sold them which was the reluctantly to call me back . STAY AWAY SCAMMERSlost( probably sold
This company was by far the worst experience my husband and I have ever had. Kept our clocks for 7 months. Charged us almost $400 to change a spring in a ships clock and clean and oil it. We picked our clocks up after numerous times trying to contact them and finally threatening legal action. As soon as we picked the clocks up, we took them to a REAL watch repair business and discovered the clock they told us they cleaned and oiled never was even taken apart. The seal was never broken. These people stole money from us and provided nothing in return besides a spring in a plastic bag they said they didn’t install for us because we decided to take our clocks back. This was after they assured my husband on the phone the clock was fixed and working perfectly. Extremely dishonest. Be very wary. Don’t let what happened to us happen to you.
I had a Watch serviced August 4, 2020. I have a very busy schedule so finding time to make it in was difficult for myself. Lindsay provided wonderful customer service. They have been closing at 4 PM but she went the extra mile in sticking around until 430 for me to drop my watch off. Here comes the best part, I have been looking for a place that could change my battery and a pin in my watch band, which has a nontraditional half pin and I found out a lot of places won’t work on. Not only were they able to repair my watch band and battery, Best Time Watch Repair had it repaired and ready for pick up within 24 hours at a great price.. 10/10 will be back. Thanks again!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Best Time to repair my antique clock. The clock was a childhood gift and has been with me my entire life. I wanted to get it back into running order but a little concerned leaving it with strangers. Best Time immediately made me feel at ease with their professionalism, genuine interest in my clock and their immense knowledge. It took them only 24 hours to fix my clock and get it back to me. It is so satisfying hearing my clock chime again. I am so pleased with them and their work. I will be taking my other clocks to them.
I brought Best Time Watch Repair a family heirloom cuckoo clock that wasn’t working, and that nobody could seem to fix- the parts are impossible to find. It was my last ditch effort. Josh got it running in perfect order, and cleaned it beautifully so that we can continue to pass it down to our kids, and they can pass it down to theirs. He did an incredible job, and we’re so grateful to be able to enjoy it on our wall again! Will absolutely be back!

Do not have this company repair your watch. I took my watch into their office because there was some moisture in it and it needed dried out. The watch was working just fine prior to their repairs. 6 months later and taking it back to them 3 different times, it still does not work properly. Their communication is bad and the service is not good. Im afraid to take the watch back to fix the current issues because they dont know how to fix it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
I asked Best Time Watch repair to fix my ships clock. 5 weeks later it was not ready to be picked up. When I did pick it up, the hands were on wrong so the clock did not chime properly. I had them clean and lubricate two grandfather clocks, with a promise of 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks, they were still not ready, so we went to pick them up. They were belligerent about the whole transaction, and I had to replace the movements in the cases myself since they would not even consider finishing the work. One of the movements has a broken gear so it does not properly chime the hour. Of course, they charged me over $1000 and no guarantee! Anyone who wants to do business with these people need to reconsider. They were hostile, threatened to call the police because I wanted my property back and totally unprofessional. A total RIP-OFF!
I called to ask about time and cost for watch battery replacement. They were able to provide same-day service to change the batteries in four watches, without an appointment. The cost was under $30, and the service was excellent. They also had a great selection of watches available for purchase in store. Ill definitely return to this shop, and highly recommend it.
The employees were great and professional. I had five watches to get restarted with new batteries and I had to have another watch wristband changed out. I left two Vintage watches to have serviced. All around I was happy with service and value.
Went to get a watch band replaced. Josh and Lindsey were extra kind and accommodating. I dont know much about watches but I talked about my preferences and they gave me several recommendations for bands based on those preferences. Soon after, I received an email with band pictures/descriptions/prices. Prices were reasonable and I paid only a bit more than the cost of the band itself.Extremely professional and polite. Will definitely go again for any watch repair needs.

Fantastic service. I took my watch in because the chronograph was not working, and the time was slow. Best Time Watch took a look at it and provided a detailed and accurate quote of what it would take to fix my watch. The prices were very reasonable. They had the watch repaired in about a week, and it looked amazing. It is still working great now. I am very pleased with the service and the job well done. I had a Citizen watch that doubled as a Medic Alert Bracelet. The Band was broke. The watch needed cleaned and the crystal was scratched because I wore it at work! Thank you for doing a wonderful job!! Also thank you for making the watch better! My eyes are old and they were able to put a magnifying glass over the date so I could see it! Along with replacing some internal parts they made it better than New! Thank you for all you’ve done!!!
I needed the metal bracelet sized on my first ever mechanical watch. I decided I wanted to take my new timepiece to somewhere besides the usual mall jewelry kiosk that Ive visited in the past for similar services. After briefly searching Google, I discovered Best Time Watch Repair. Their location is convenient on W. Market across the street from Whole Foods 365.Joshua was friendly, professional and easy to talk to. He removed the links from my watch, sizing it perfectly on the first try. Joshua and I discussed mechanical watches, proper watch maintenance and even the challenges of operating a small business. Im happy to have found this company and looking forward to the opportunity to doing business with them again.
Really glad I found them, but after living in the area for nearly 20 years, I should have known they were there. Took a watch in for a battery replacement and $9.00 and a few hours later, it was running like a champ. Exceptionally friendly staff and great pricing and service. I don’t know what more someone could ask for. As a former brick and mortar small business owner, I will always support a small local business first.
Brought my smart watch in for repair of a broken buckle on the watch and after a frustrating experience with the manufacturer’s support team. The owners ordered and installed a replacement buckle at a very reasonable cost. I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the owners. It’s great to know that local businesses like this are around.
The owners were incredibly welcoming when I first called and continued the courteousness when I arrived. They made several adjustments to my watches which included battery replacements which I could not find any other watch shop to do. They cleaned all the watches and removed links on the ones I requested. In all they exceeded my expectations and I’ll definitely use this company again.
Wanted to stop by a local shop and have a battery in my watch replaced and a link taken off. I did a google search and came across Best Time Watch Repair amongst the results and it wasn’t too far from home and had good reviews. After dropping off my watch, I waited a short 20 minutes and it was done, all services completed and any questions I had answered quickly and confidently. Brought in a Seiko Kinetic watch for repair. Received prompt evaluation (within 8 hours of depositing watch at shop) with thorough explanation of issues and estimate of repair cost. Repair completed as scheduled and appreciated the fact that item was held for quality check to ensure working properly. Repair costs reasonable and a good value compared to big box stores. Would highly recommend.
I had a 2:00 appointment yesterday 5/29/21 & no one showed up at the store. Very unprofessional!! I drove from Orrville & I was looking forward to seeing if they could fix my Dads old pocket watch as a surprise for our son.Guess I will have to try another place. 🙄

Dont trust this business with your watch/watches. They are TERRIBLE at returning phone calls and do not honor the store hours that are advertised on their websight. I was at the store a total of 5 times and not once was the quote master watch repair man named Josh in the store. On two different Saturdays store opening hours are listed on the websight as 10am and both times I sat in my truck until 11 and they were not open yet. I had a rather expensive Bulova Accu-Swiss automatic watch that was dropped and wouldnt run. I took it to them and was charged $100.00 for rewinding of the hairspring and rotor adjustment. When I picked it up it wouldnt run after trying to wind it. I left the watch to be checked out again and called a week later to pick it up. I was told they left it on the watch winder for 4 days and it had no issues running. After bringing home I left it stop running as a test being a self winding automatic and guess what? It wouldnt start back up! I dont trust these people with any of my timepieces after being taken for $100.00. I have since taken it to Sheiban jewlers in strongsville which has a master watch repair man that is a certified Rolex level 40 repair man with level 50 being the highest. I am now getting what Im paying for! These people arent very honest or reliable! The Better Business Bureau is my next stop!
I had 2 Invictas and the backs were stuck tight.I went to TWO local watch repair centers, one did nothing and the other wanted to send the watch away for 9 weeks.Josh had them both done in 45 minutes, amazing price, and the nicest folks ever.They get all my business.
I could not be more impressed than I am with Best time watch repair. Before Covid 19 hit I had dropped off a lot of watches and watch parts for them to look through and see if they were interested in purchasing any of it.When I called there to see if I could drop it off Lindsay ( Lindsay and her husband are the owners) . .Lindsay answered the phone and was so cheerful and super nice. I was having a bad day and talking to her put me in a better mood. I then took the items there the same day and she is just one of those positive fun loving people that you just love to be around.Well, I left the items there then Covid 19 hit. ..I thought for sure I would never see my items again. They are nice items also. Well, out of the blue Lindsay texted me and asked if I wanted to set up a time to meet her to get my items back.i was shocked I thought for sure I was going to have to message them and go through hoops to get it back.I just met her today and got my stuff back and it was all there. And again she was so pleasant and professional. I just love her. I am so serious when I say this...if you are ever in need of a watch or clock repair or on the hunt to buy a watch or clock you have got to go to BEST TIME WATCH REPAIR. I am willing to bet you will not have to go anywhere else. They have beautiful watches and gorgeous grandfather clocks and do repairs there also. And lastly the owners are simple sincere honest professional people..your items will be safe with them and their prices are very fair. I cannot thank you enough Lindsay ...
My Tissot sustained some water damage in August. I took the piece immediately to Best Time to be evaluated, and was not contacted for FOUR months! I made several calls, left messages and sent emails and had no replies. I made several stops at their location during normal business hours to find the store closed. When I finally got in to retrieve my timepiece, it was rusted out completely and they left the battery in the watch leaking acid in the piece. I cannot prove, but I highly suspect the problem with the water damage to begin with (waterproof watch) was the result of them replacing the battery months earlier. I hate writing negative reviews for small businesses, but my advice would be to not trust them with anything you own. I had to learn the hard way.

Superb! 5 stars to both Josh and Lindsey. I went in recently to get a simple link removal for a watch Id never worn that was too large, as it was a gift. Initially I had to leave a message on their business phone. Promptness on a callback: 5 stars. If they miss the call their phone is setup to text you a message to assure a prompt return call. I got one within 5 mins or less. Clean office space, well kept. Professional appearance and good business etiquette in person AND on phone. Amiable people. Though my job was simple what made my experience great was their professionalism and the FIRST IMPRESSION i got from the moment I walked in the door. New at wearing watches, I will be back need be. Side note: some jobs can be done within a matter of minutesbut for the jobs that require more time and a return visit, their are PLENTY of restaurants, stores, shopping centers, etc in the safe neighborhood area they have their office; some within walking distance. So you dont have to drive off. You can just walk down to the nearest shop, store, or restaurant if its a job that requires you to return. THANKS Best Time Watch Repair!
Beware!! Dont take any watches or clocks to this place!! I brought my mantel clock, which kept stopping, in for service. That was in March. Three months later, I still dont have the clock back. If they knew that they could not do the work, why did they take my clock? Obviously, something strange is going on here.

Josh was able to get my Movado watch repaired in a very short time even though they were moving locations during that same time frame. The cost was very reasonable and about 80% less than what Kays had quoted. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for the most complex or simple repairs. They also have a nice inventory of new and used watches. Now conveniently located in Fairlawn. Lindsey was very friendly and helpful throughout the process.
I took a watch to Best Time on February 6th to get relumed. The woman behind the counter asked me to leave the watch, as the watchmaker wasnt in. Against my better judgment, I left my watch in her care. No word for a week. I called several times before getting ahold of them. When I finally did get through, they told me they had an issue with their storefront and were no longer open. I asked for my watch back and they said theyd call me the next day to arrange for pickup. I didnt get a call. Since then they havent answered a call or returned an email. I have called, texted, and emailed close to a dozen times, all told. I dont know what kind of people these folks are, but they arent business people. Any kind of communication at this point would be appreciated. At this point I can only assume they have stolen my watch. Do yourself a favor and smash your watch with a brick before giving it to these people. At least you will know for sure what happened to it.
This is an amazing place, real high quality watches from real high quality people. Walking into the store you wont feel overwhelmed or intimated by some salesman looking for a victim they give the best price you could ask and the job is always top notch.
I brought my Rolex in and told the lady i needed it polished, she took my watch and said their watch maker needed to look at it and then she would call me back with info. I waited 6 days, no calls, so i call them several times, leave messages, and still no answer. The next day i call them 20+ times and no answer. Then, 5 minutes later i decide to call them from a different phone number and of course... they answer! I explain to them what happened and it was clear my phone calls and messages were being ignored. Later that day i went in to pick my watch up. Not sure what they were planning but it was definitely very fishy. Wouldnt recommend.
Took in a Tag Heuer with water damage, didnt fix it properly and upon opening the crown to reset the time it fogged up and stopped working. I took it to another repair shop, and 5hey said it had water damage they could not repair, and it would have to be sent to TAG Heuer themselves. These guys do no know what theyre doing with water damage.

Brought a watch in that I had for years and wore it all the time. Dropped it off to get a crystal put in. A week later the crystal fell out for No reason. called them up and they basically said Too Bad. Save your Money. would not work with me at all. Unreal !!

2022-06-19When no other local watch repair shop would work on my Movado watch, (afraid of being responsible), Best Time had no issue and did an excellent job. They cleaned it with the simple battery replacement order, going the extra mile earns any repeat business I might have.

2022-07-12This is the most unethical, unprofessional business I have ever encountered. Dropped a gold diamond bracelet off in mid June. Never heard from them so I decided to pick it up last week. They had done no work to the bracelet; in fact she pulled it out right from a drawer behind the front counter. She charged me the full repair price of $64. All that needed done was a pin replacement. Her and her husband became so belligerent that I called the police of Fairlawn. They said they have many complaints against this business. They are crooks!! I have video of the owner and his wife being belligerent and screaming profanities at me. All because I disagreed with them charging for no work being completed. READ YELP REVIEWS and or contact Fairlawn Police, they will confirm these facts.

2022-03-06Josh was awesome and the process to get links taken out of my watches and get batteries replaced was easy! They were done within a day, and I was updated throughout the process with the status of each piece. Will continue coming back for any future sizing and battery replacements for my watches!

2022-08-10Poor service! Took in two clocks to be repaired and, after two weeks, my clocks still were not even looked at for an estimate! Retrieved my clocks and took them to another repair shop to be fixed in a timely manner.

2022-07-23Bro held onto my watch for a month without working on it, started quoting higher prices out of nowhere, then barely got the watch working again and it stopped working the next day. No thank you, I recommend anyone reading this to find someone better.

2021-12-21Owner became verbally abusive when I noted the watch was still way too big. He became riled up when I asked him, “how do you know how many links to take out”. It was an honest question. He lost it accusing me of taking advantage of him. I sent him a text after I walked out (peacefully and in disbelief) that I am disabled (even though I don’t look like it). 2018-09-29My wife found this wonderful company to service our grandfather clock that was recently passed down to us from my grandfather. They came to our home, removed the movement of the clock so that they could service and repair it in their shop. Then they returned it to us, reassembled into the cabinet and verified it all worked perfectly. Plus, all of this for an incredibly fair price that I was happy to pay. Now our grandfather clock keeps perfect time, and brings back all the memories of my childhood from visiting my grandma and grandpa. Thank you both so much; we will happily contact you for all of our grandfather clock and watch service needs in the future.

2021-02-14I highly recommend using Best Time Watch Repair for all of your needs. They do mantle, wall and large clocks as well as watches. I brought two vintage watches in to be repaired and restored, I received back two heirloom quality timepieces that look better than the day they were bought and run perfectly! I cannot say enough how pleased I am with the care, skill and service I received. I will be taking all of my timepieces here for service from now on.

2022-04-01Horrible customer service never could get a hold of them. They said they left messages on my phone and I never received any them when I picked up my clock after 2 years of them having it I was screamed at and insulted but the man who works there using profanity after I asked why I wasn’t contacted about the price being more then expected. Also was told my opinion didn’t matter.
