Best buy on polaris is more like the best joke. I will never go to a Best buy again do to the worst shopping experience I have ever had at the polaris location particularly the electronics department. Considering the money I was planning on spending. Dont worry Im sure big sandy will send you a thank you card. Employees lack knowledge other then what their devices tell them, they lack empathy and are unapologetic to the situation. Also they are to stupid to go get the manager when someone said you should you should go get the manager.
One of the side gigs I do on a weekly basis is as a secret shopper! 😱 Yes, honey! So if you see me come into your store, youd better be on your game because you never know if Im browsing, evaluating or simply shopping for real. Hehehe.Anyways, I was assigned recently to go to the Best Buy at Polaris and evaluate their knowledge and selling capabilities regarding Chromebooks. The employee that assisted me was AMAZING! I think her name was K and she was on her game. K showed me the different computers and options available and answered all of my questions that I had about them. She was brutally honest about her opinions on Chromebook, and I appreciate that honesty. She obviously wasnt looking to just get a sale and she was actually listening to the customers needs and acting accordingly. She even suggested brands that were less expensive and below my price point because they were better computers. Even after we had wrapped up our conversation and I went about my casual browsing of the department, she came back to find me and said she found something else that might work. K went above and beyond in her customer service skill, likability and honesty. And that was a nice change. So, great job, Best Buy Polaris. You got a winner there with Miss K...
Wanted to check out the iPhone accessories—was told they’re remodeling and “if you know specifically what you want, you’re allowed in to get it” and I guess iPhone accessories are too vague? And I was turned away. Why even open while remodeling? and why default to online orders only or something else?Just poor management I guess
Horrible customer service. Lady name Teresa received the call and she started talking without even having any intention to listening customers’s concerns. Next time I will go for Amazon no matter what I want to purchase. Doesn’t worth supporting local businesses when they don’t care about customers at all. This Polaris store sold damaged item to us.
OPEN YOUR SEALED GAMES AND CHECK IF THE RIGHT GAME IS INSIDE.I cannot stress this enough!I ordered the last copy of Lego Star Wars for the Switch for online pick up at the Polaris location 4/15. I went home and decided to start playing, well when I opened the SEALED game, a completely different game was inside....Nickelodeon All Stars Brawl. Someone must have bought a copy of Lego Star Wars, swapped out the game, plastic wrapped it and returned it. So, I immediately call the Best Buy Polaris number that is supplied by Google. I explain the situation to him, he transfers me to the online order customer service hotline. Im on hold for about 30 mins. I explain the situation to him. He tells me that hes adding all of this info to my account and that I can go back in and get an exchange or store credit. But the copy I bought was the last one. So he says that hell have them transfer a copy from the Grove City location for pick up at Polaros towards the end of the week.So, fast forward to today 4/18. I decide to go back to the Polaris location thinking things would go fairly smooth after my conversation with two people involved with Best Buy customer service. I go in and nothing is saved on my so-called account. So, I explain the situation yet again, and long story short they say that Ill have to call Best Buy corporate again and writes down the same number. Ive worked retail for about 12 years, so Im fairly keen on how things work specifically with asset protections. I asked if theres a way to see if anyone returned a copy, he checked ....and BAM! a return for one copy that was paid for and returned in cash. So whoever did the swap, knew exactly what they were doing. I was then told issues like this have happened before at that location.Im a little annoyed at this point that nothing can be done in store and I would have to contact the corp number again. So, Im put on hold for 40 mins, have to explain the situation yet again. He apologized for the run around and sent a UPS label, so I can ship the swapped product to corp. After they receive it, a refund will be processed. Finally, some relief/closer at this point.All in all, more should be done in store if this issue happens and has HAD happened. I understand the sensitivity of the matter, but all of this back and forth was completely unnecessary and exhausting. Item was bought from the store, issue should be resolved at the store. The employees were kind about the situation and I get it, theres only so much they can do as employees.I dont want anyone else to go through this, so please check your sealed games before you leave the store to save you from this headache.
Pulled up to go shopping and was greeted by an employee who told me he could help me and answer questions, but I wasnt allowed to go inside due to construction. Not sure how youre suppose to try out products if you cant try them out! Go someplace else where you will actually have the store open for you.
They are remodeling and the store is a disaster. Got a screen cover replaced on my phone. Dude git it right. Employees are very green and clueless about anything in inventory. Tough gig and they dont pay enough. Order online and save yourself an aggravating and fruitless trip!
Had a pick up order for a MacBook Air. The sales team could not find the order. They looked for 30+ min while I stood there with my newborn. Their communication during the hunt was minimal. The associates checked their cell phones and looked at each other’s watches while I was standing there at the register. Ultimately, they couldn’t find it. They did not give me any options on how to move forward. I had to suggest getting it from another store or shipping it to my house. They were not willing to do so. Poor customer service for a Best Buy Elite Plus member.
I called this store recently to get advice on how to upgrade the memory in my PC. I figured if I could get someone to answer the questions from where I was stuck with my own research then I would purchase whatever parts I needed from the company who helped me out. Its only fair. So I call the store and the first guy I talked to gave me all sorts of information that contradicted the research I had done. Just completely wrong, such as telling me I have two slots for memory cards when I have the computer open and am looking at 4. I got rid of that guy and called back. The lady I spoke to transferred me to a person who transferred me to a person who lost me in the que. I called again. The last person refused to help me unless I gave my name, phone number, email, and a couple of more identifiers that we didnt get to because I hung up on him. So I called Micro Center, got the help I was looking for, went to their store to buy the memory cards, and got everything completed thanks to their help. Never again, Best Buy.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT SHOP AT WORST BUY! THEY HAD ME WAIT FOUR SEPERATE OCCASSIONS FOR A DELIVERY THAT NEVER CAME AFTER TELLING ME THE PRODUCT WOULD BE DELIVERED. THEY ARE FLAT OUT LIARS AND DO NOTHING TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT, ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!
Impossible to call their store and talk to an actual human being! Wanted info on whether they repair scanners, but it was impossible to get through to someone who could answer my question. If this is any indication of their service if a customer has a problem, then count me out!!! Ill take my business to a store where a live human being answers the phone!
This has been my Best Buy location for well over 20 years and theyve always been professional, helpful, and the source from everything from DVD, laptops, cell phones, and other tech. Solid pricing and highly recommended service reps and salespeople who try their level best to treat you right and get you the best deals.
Horrible customer service. I wish you could rank lower. Wouldnt exchange product cause it was 5 days past their policy on receipt I had. Product quite working today, and due to fact I did not spend $29.99 on their extended warranty for a $100.00 product, nothing they could do. Fist off let me say cashier was very understanding and did his job well. Asked to speak with manager who never came over, and walked by pretending to be busy with another associate. Who he actually startled because the associate asked yes, like why are you behind me, Im just ringing yhis person out. I will not be shopping here any longer, its not about exchange its about the disrespect this manager showed a customer. I am out $100.00 dollars no big deal, but they will not be getting any more of my money. I left product and receipt on counter, cause theyre useless to me. Thanked manager as I walked by for all his help. Drove straight to Micro Center and bought new product.I am a retail manager myself, I understand policies but to ignore a customer not even speak with one who asked for you is ridiculous and poor business practice. He honestly could have offered anything I would have accepted but poor customer service I cannot go for. No effort made to keep customer happy.
My appliances show that theyre on stock when I want to order them. Then they were back ordered. When so far it has been 2 months and I have received 3 of the 5. But out of the 3 items that have been delivered not one arrived without at least 2 missed appointment 4 phone calls and my dishwasher that was delivered today was dropped and the rack will not slide in all the way. Now they do not have anymore and can not get me a new one. They need to get there deliverys in order.
My husband and I are not happy at all with Bestbuys delivery and installment practices. Some of their 3rd party contractors are less than qualified to install appliances. Bestbuy also attempts to save money by not providing the appropriate number of delivery men to deliver and install multiple heavy appliances. In a two episode saga, specifically requested by me, there should have been two delivery men to exchange a heavy, large LG Tower washer and dryer. In the process of the washer and dryer exchange, my laundry room linoleum floor was damaged. All this could have been avoided if things were done right the first time and as requested.I will say that our last installer, Dana, did a good job with the exchanges and installation with the assistance of my husband. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We are now waiting to hear about the delivery of our pedestals for the washer and dryer.Teresa Franklin
I have a yearly repair deal (I dont remember the name). I had all a non-working computer brought back to life 😊. The other 2 were checked over and de-bugged. I took my tablet for help with the Kindle app, but the tech wasnt able to install something that wasnt available, lol. He did verify that was the reason for the Kindle app to quit working. At least I knew it wasnt me😒. I took an Xbox there because its stuck in boot-up mode. Unfortunately, they dont have the equipment to fix it, but gave me a name and phone number for a reputable service provider. Thanks for being awesome!
Typical Best Buy. Employees avoid interacting with customers. Very long lines for checkout. Overpriced. Poor selection of must have items. Then again, I did it to myself. I should have known better since I had the same experience 2 years ago. You know, the last time I visited a Best Buy. Maybe I’ll try again in 2023.
Worts staff ever! People just ignore on your face or just run off , they don’t even tell you that they’ll come and see you . I just stood there calling every one I saw, but no one responded instead they walked away from me telling they need a sec with out even giving attention to the customer and yeah he didn’t even come back . Hate the customer service here.
The absolute worst experience. Wish half a star was available. Had to reschedule delivery because of our closing date was moved by one week and not only is our delivery 2 hours late they cancelled the installation on their own even after an hour long call with an agent. Never ever again.
Home appliance install went horribly wrong.Brand new construction home & I needed appliances. Its the day after closing & the flooring in my laundry room is destroyed. Did they hook up the line for the steam setting on my dryer? Of course not. Are they willing to do anything about it? That isnt my fault but you can take it up with the corporate office.
I made a purchase of appliances worth $10000. I was given gift cards.I made an online purchase using those gift cards. The order did not go through. I went to store, they asked me to cancel the order and roam around for 30 min and see if the refund gets back into the cardAfter spending 1hr, I was told to come back on the evening.I am a total tech member and an elite plus member. Worst customer service.I called Best Buy online, they say I have to wait for 14 days. Wooow!
I had the worst experience at this location. It’s really offending and disrespectful. I was given false information about their delivery policy from the sales associate at the store and upon calling customer service to inquire about why the order was canceled, they kept transferring me from one agent to another with each one starting the process from the very beginning.
This is an issue related to their ship to store option. Delays are understandable, but when you try and pick the item from another location that has it, they wont allow it. Just because it is in transit to the original pickup location, it shouldnt affect that as an option. I have to wait for who knows how long for an item that may be available immediately at another location close by. For now, I will have to deal with the delay and cross my fingers that the item will actually arrive.
Arrived on 7/10/21 at the store and had about five items that I needed. I was immediately met by Best Buy employee, Joshua. Joshua was awesome! He took the time and guided me to each one of the items that I needed and even had to find one in the back store room for me. I had a few questions about the items and Joshua seemed to have great knowledge about each one of the items. Joshua even took the time to check me out in the rear of the store. I really wanted to leave feedback on a survey that you usually find in stores on the receipt but I did not find any feedback link. This is the kind of customer service that every store should have! Kuddos to Joshua!!!!!
Purchased appliances here in October of 2020. Well before we dug our basement for our new home. We purchased 5 GE Cafe appliances and during the next few months I received no less than 5 emails showing different order numbers and orders being cancelled without notice other than an automated email. The store itself no longer has an inbound phone number. Pacific Kitchen rarely answers and when they do the staff is clueless. The manager for Pacific kitchen needs to find work other than customer service because the attitude there is completely unbearable. Called them to find out why I got an email stating my microwave and dishwasher were being rescheduled for delivery and installEnded up they lost our dishwasher order and said maybe it would arrive by the end of September since they placed another order for it at that time. This was June of 2021. Multiple phone calls to the store and nothing was resolved. They said they cant find any in stock anywhere. Called Home Depot and had the same model delivered within a week. Called GE directly and they said Best Buy is known for screwing up appliance orders and deliveries. Said Home Depot is a much better resource and even went so far as to tell me they had 150 of the same damn dishwasher that best buy claimed they couldnt get ahold of in a warehouse in Louisville Kentucky. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. I know the points are enticing but save yourself the headache and go to Home Depot or somewhere else.The saga continued with our fridge. They were scheduled to deliver and install and that got moved without notice. Delivery eventually happened and no install. Again I called pacific kitchen and the abhorrent manager there was of no help. Best Buy store manager promised phone calls to us on at least 3 occasions and we never received those calls. Customer service is dead with Best Buy as far as Im concerned. Was literally told to call the 1-888-Best-Buy for further help by a pacific kitchen associate within the Polaris store. They literally DO NOT CARE! We bought an entire TV entertainment system from magnolia through best buy as well and had ZERO issues. Kudos to that team but pacific kitchen and store management need customer service training.Quick note: The store no longer has customer service in house. Everything.... literally everything customer service related after you purchase is routed through the call center where you get to wait on the phone for 20+ min each time.
First they cancelled my cyber Monday order despite of items being in stock. I placed same order again for next day pickup, which was accepted. Guy at the check out counter doesnt know difference between 4K UltraHD BD and regular BluRay disc and tried sending me off with wrong item. On top of that, got zero customer service skills and rude af.
I had to return a defective TV and wasnt sure what to expect. Well I can say that things went much better than I ever could of imagined. The people at the store couldnt have been more friendly, and were very sympathetic to my predicament. It ended up being the most positive experience Ive probably ever had at retail store. This is how you turn just another customer into a customer for life.
Clean store and tons of things to buy. The employees are always super nice and as long as you tell them you are just looking, they wont bug you.UPDATE: I went to buy a MacBook Pro, and I had to wait over 15 minutes to get my computer. Finally I went to another department to ask for help. Not cool, especially since I was plunking down a good chunk of change. I changed my review from 4 to 3 stars.
I purchased a washer/dryer set online, shipping from this location, the guys couldn’t get it through the door apparently so they scheduled me a second appointment, in the mean time they sold the last of the brand I bought so they had to set me another appointment a month out. I went in to this store and bout a different set, the same size, fit fine.The delivery guys set it up incorrectly and incompletely. They didn’t remove the shipping bolts, they didn’t set up the steam properly so I had to do all of that myself, despite paying for it.The same day while I was in the store I bought a desktop computer, it shipped in a few days later, I picked it up from the store and took it home, little less than a month later and it’s a paperweight, pay the ridiculous extra fees, you’re gonna need someone to service the junk they sell.
My Tablet wouldn’t hold a charge. We stopped in there to see what the issue was. It turned out to be the wall plug (who knew!?). The gentleman that helped us was amazing!!Once we finished there, we decided to shop... we ended up buying a new TV and the gentleman that helped us with that was just as amazing!!! I highly recommend this location!!!!! :)
Ordered a microwave but has never been delivered. Best Buy has cancelled delivery twice, without calling that they aren’t coming. I had to call each time to find out. They have rescheduled again and the salesperson told me he understands if I want to cancel. The second time I asked if they had the product and was told yes but the delivery person told me he was suppose to pick up 4 items for delivery and only one was available to deliver. The Operations Manager just promises items are available when they are not. Terrible way to run a business unless you are trying to put it out of business. Sales staff try their best but obviously rest of company doesn’t care. Ok place to buy something as long as you are bringing it home. Try Lowe’s or Big Sandy they back their sales.
Thier service after the sale sucks.The sales person lied about the set up, said they would help set up the TV. No they just set it down on your floor and leave. I tried to set up my account with them on line, most difficult process ever. The security questions was about my spouse, I dont have one. Nothing but issues. This account will be closed and never used again.
So frustrated! Called the number to the Polaris store. I was told they sold the remote car starter I wanted and after putting me on hold to check availability, he told me they were able to install it today.... AFTER driving 1 hour plus, they DONT even install in that store anymore! No wonder people just buy online anymore! RIDICULOUS!
Dont get me wrong, I like best buy, and I bought what I came for, which was a beard trimmer. But the store is as it always is, out of several things in every normally stocked category. Whats the point? Most go to this store for a quality, technical toy, needed for instant gratification. Otherwise, we would wait the 2 or 3 days from Amazon. Keep stock available! And there was a reasonable line to checkout, with 1 cashier, and clearly help, not helping, available. Be better.
I got to say I have been to this place many times and the customer service has been amazing on my latest experience I walked in and was immediately greeted by a young man, Sid was absolutely amazing and he helped me out great he showed me everything I needed to find and got me checked out as well. Best Buy made a customer a customer for life.
Fantastic experience buying a washer and dryer and my first OLED tv yesterday. I knew what I wanted, got a price match and was in and out in 20 minutes. Derek at the Polaris Best Buy in the Pacific Kitchen & Home section was great, he answered several questions a few weeks prior with no hard sell and was immediately ready and available when I came back in.
Would not recommend this store! I have bought many many things at Best Buy but when I had an issue with a protection plan policy and I asked to speak to a manager I was denied. I stood in there requesting a manager for over an hour and the employee “helping” me refused to produce one. After an hour this employee then said they couldn’t even replace my item because they no longer carry it. This was after being told that they didn’t have it in store but could order it online and have it sent to me. Left very unhappy with the service. An hour for no resolution and being refused the right to speak to someone with authority. Do better Best Buy. I will now buy a replacement for my item on Amazon and will not be returning to this store after spending close to 15k dollars in this store since December.
We placed an order for curbside pickup so we could avoid the Black Friday mayhem during the pandemic. We ordered food, so it could be prepared while we waited for the order at Best Buy. When we checked in they told us it could be up to 25 minutes. Not ideal, but with the business here we were willing to roll with it. Cars around us started to be served. New cars rolled in. The 25 minute mark hit and we received a message saying it was taking longer than usual for our order. Cars started pulling in next to us and they were being fulfilled in quick turnarounds. Still nothing for us. Finally, as another vehicle next to us showed up 40 minutes after we arrived, we flagged the guy down to see if there was an issue. He simply asked for our info and said hes grab our order. 20 minutes later he returned with our single item in a box. We were at curbside pickup for an hour. No explanation or apology offered. Needless to say, our food was cold. Im almost surprised it wasnt tossed. Im usually one to cut service industry folks a break, especially on busy days and during extraordinary times, but clearly something was amiss with our situation and it was never addressed. If we ever pick up for Best Buy again it wont be from here.
Best buy is not the best store for buying appliances and their customers service is not design for best customer experience instead its to deflect blame on others.For appliances go to lowes or home depot you will find experience more rewarding and relaxing.They tend to sell appliances that are not even in their warehouse and then give customers due date without consulting with the vendors, then when a vendor doest delivery a product in time they shift the blame on to vendor.Never buy appliances at this bestbuy or any other.
Terrible experience with a refrigerator delivery. 7 hours late delivering, them damaged the refrigerator, couldnt get anyone to respond to our concerns. Was supposed to have a new refrigerator delivered and at last minute they called to cancel delivery. 2 months later we still dont have a new refrigerator. Customer service and communication are absolutely terrible and unacceptable.
Sometimes I like to look at an item before purchasing, weird I know 😉 so I do like to stop in here occasionally. A clean and organized store, I wish that they would stock more frequently but the on-line inventory is pretty accurate. Prices are pretty good, they do price match and even beat out Amazons prices sometimes. The staff is friendly and helpful, just gotta keep those shelves stocked.
I will say customer service is always great and they always are eager to help …..thus the problem . The sales associates in all these stores have minimal to no knowledge of what they are selling . I had 2 sales associates tell me Samsung and LG make the best sound bars besides Sonos ….which you have an entire room full of Magnolia certified equipment which will destroy all of them . I bought a Definitive subwoofer knowing it had 1 active subwoofer and 2 passive inside . The sales associates said “nope it most certainly does have 3 active subwoofers inside “ …….they are there to peddle merch and that’s it . Best Buy needs to take more time and train their employees on the products they sell . Ultimately we ended up buying our tower speakers from sound and vision in Lewis center where they know what they are selling
Service was great but after spending an hour with the salesman every phone we had looked at they couldnt get. Was told to call into the store and check on availability which I called and the store is not receiving calls. I live over an hour away so driving there just to check was not an option.
My nieces TV stop turning on after 5 months called the number for the store. Suppose to be the store NOT at all its a call center but they dont tell you. So I tell the lady wants going on she advices we can get a repair man out or bring it in for exchange. So we set up for exchange and drive an hour to get there and the manager proceeded to tell me he is sorry that I was talking to a call center and not the store they dont answer the phone there and I have to call samsung and get a exchange number from them before BEDT BUY will do anything for me so all round JOKE and BEST BUY is horrible poor customer service as well as call center
Friendly , knowledgeable. People complaining about closing times need to realize two things: 1)they are running on a skeleton crew and simply cannot stay open any later 2) you can literally see the store hours on google for free so it’s not the stores fault you don’t know how to read
We came to buy a phone outright and our rep was nice in the beginning and rude during the process saying we changed our mind to much. We didn’t appreciate the judgement. We only change how much money we wanted to put towards the phone and it was before the process even started. Also she was the one who took the option of buying it outright off the table.
The Best Best Buy I have been to. I used to work for best buy and am fully aware of their price match. So I went to the Best Buy in Easton, which they refused to price match and told me they do not price match which is a lie because I used to work there and its on their website. . So I wrote them a 1 star review. I called up the boys at Polaris and they said they would. So I drove 15mins saved my self over 100 dollars and every one was great. Thank you so much.
Great prices happy with my purchase. I understand its been super busy due to Black Friday and covid, but unfortunately the organization skills of the employees bringing out the purchased items is beyond a nightmare! No sense of organization whatsoever, some people pulled up and got their order in less than 5 minutes meanwhile I have been sitting here for 45 minutes and still have yet to receive my one item I purchased. It is a great idea and concept but very poorly executed. Very disappointed in their curbside pickup in comparison to others who have it down to a T. Anyhow its Best buy you know what to expect. Hopefully next time they get it together. I will update if I wait longer than an hour which I am about 10 minutes away from.
I bought a MacBook Air at this Best Buy 3 years ago. At the time of the purchase the person who waited on us tried to convince me to buy the service plan for $250. I told him that I would take my chances. Then he told me that after 3 years I could take the MacBook to the Apple Store and they would replace the battery, a $220 value, free of charge. It was taken to the Apple Store where they said there was nothing wrong with the battery and that it did not need to be replaced. I went back to Best Buy and talked with the manager. He said they were not responsible for what one of their employees might have said 3 years ago. I will never shop there again and I will encourage everyone I can not to shop there.
Ordered washer and dryer. 4 attempts to install and still not right. 1st time no show no call. Best Buy rep hangs up in me. Second time brought only washer. Third time only dryer but no stacking kit. Fourth time... do I need to say more. Hours on the phone and hours waiting. Buy elsewhere.
Ordered $2600 refrigerator online and scheduled delivery. Specifically noted in order that I have a steep driveway (for delivery purposes) . On the day of delivery, I received a call from Best Buy stating the driver could not deliver because the driveway was too steep for his truck. He didnt even knock on the door. In the meantime...I had already performed my part by moving furniture and removing doors to aid in delivery. Wasted half my day. I am canceling order and instead will go to a competitor.
Purchased a smart tv in open box at a discount. TV turned out to be defective and will be returning it. Return was pretty easy. Decided to get a different brand but their stock was limited and what they had was more expensive. I ended up purchasing a Roku TV from a different retailer.
We got there for buying a new phone. Nice service, good selection, the best part, they match the price. We bought a phone $50 cheaper, by simply showing the ad with a smaller price. The staff wears masks and are non-invasive helpful. The visitors are provided with masks and gloves.
Bought a tv, explained l would not be able to carry it into the house and asked for it to be delivered by Best Buy delivery. Also asked if l was in their delivery area. Was told it would be delivered on,12-23-20. It arrived today with no way for me,to get it the house. Tried to contact the store waited on hold 50 minutes then the call disconnected. Tried online, gave me a 888 number to call. First rep basically hung up on me. Second rep said she couldnt find a supervisor and transferred me to set up an appointment. That was not what l needed. Have currently been on hold another 30 minutes so far. Unacceptable.
Best buy has terrible customer service. I get that its their busiest week of the year, but to cancel my order, and give me no reason and when I contact you I sit on hold for over an hour, and still waiting after 2 more hours on a call back. I wont be spending any more money with this company.
Ended up buying a new phone for my wife and a laptop for me. Staff was very friendly and courteous. I bought my old laptop 6 years ago from Best Buy; they were good then, so we went back.One major complaint: they showed the Samsung S10+ in store, but did not have any in stock, nor any way to order more. HOWEVER, I could order one from bestbuy.com and have it sent to the store. Pretty ridiculous. Even the employee helping us thought that was stupid.
I want to share an alarming experience at this location. I purchased 2 sets of speakers one shipped to home and one picked up at location.The set I received at home was a used set I did the online return and took it back to this location. The clerk told me I would need to wait until someone inspected the return leaving me exposed in the store for 30 minutes in line. I ask what the problem was as she said they were not used even though it was obvious. I want everyone to know that this location has no regards for personal safety and only want to win an argument! Please be warned
Great experience! I was not even aware that best buy sold appliances. Purchased several items including air fryer and a television. Service was great, staff was helpful, and I appreciated warranty on my items. Price was extremely reasonable for air fryer, and we use it all the time. Great way to fry food without oil, preheat time, or mess.
Crooks. Ive been a very loyal Best Buy customer for years, and now I have fridge thats dead, with a valid support contract, and they tell me it cant be fixed and I need to contact the manufacture. Then why did I buy the warranty? If the fridge cant be fixed it needs to be replaced!! Never spending another penny at this terrible company. Theyll take all your money when youre buying thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, but leave you stranded when you actually need assistance.
Chandler helped me purchase and set up a new iPhone. He is very knowledgeable and was able to help me save on my Verizon bill. He made the process very simple and gave excellent advice. It was the best and most efficient phone buying experience I have ever had. This was my first time getting a phone at Best Buy and I will always come back.
Made an order on-line today, since I believed curbside pick up was such a great concept.Very happy when I picked up my item at Best Buy, as a half dozen employees were helping all customers individually. Cars were also spaced apart.Congrats to your whole team. Thank you!
I went to this Best Buys geek squad to get a screen replaced. Unfortunately, they were unable to do it (not because of skill, but because I should have paid more attention to what they are allowed to fix). However, the guy gave me a business card for someone who would fix it and it was an excellent recommendation.

First time for everything. Previously I would go there and I would be in there for at least 10 minutes, and nobody would say boo to me. Today (Saturday) We were help by multiple associates, I was surprised. But very helpful. So for Saturday they get a 5☆ I hope you guys keep this up.
Paid $239 for warranty on cell phone they will not honor! Dont buy a phone here go directly to your phone carrier and purchase phone insurance. Today is August 25th i have it in writing through the 25th and they will not accept. This should be illegal!!! No manager available to discuss. Only thing they say is to contact corporate. I called basically laugh at me tell me sorry you are too late. I wasnt too late still had end of business day. Feel so discouraged! Made me feel stupid or poor???
Came here for apple support and it took awhile to even get checked in or acknowledged. They dont tell you it takes 30 mins just for paperwork to get a screen replacement. If they dont have the screen in stock they cant do it the day of even if you have an appointment. If you have any screen protector or magnets for a gps device they make you take it off and you have to replace it yourself which is ridiculous because its on the back of the phone. I needed the front screen replaced. Takes too long and they have not enough help and not enough information up front before going in. It makes it super frustrating.
I had a HORRIBLE experience at this Best Buy. I went in to purchase a new phone for myself. I wanted to pay cash and found one I liked ( an iPhone 6s+). A gentleman helped me out and set me up with a phone charger and case but I was not aware that he was selling me a prepay phone after I told him Im on my parents plan thats a monthly plan.After spending 415 bucks and figuring out he sold me the wrong one I took it back to exchange for the post pay that I initially was trying to get. The manager SAM said that it was an additional 270 dollars and that theres nothing he can do to help me besides sell me the new one and that it was my fault. When you sell something to someone you make sure they are aware of their options instead of just trying to take my money. After voicing that I was upset he said he can take the return, exchange it for an additional 270.00 or have me removed from the store.I asked for corporate number and he refused to write it the first 3 times I asked and eventually he gave me the number. And it wasnt the number he said the first time. I will not be returning to this store and Ill make sure everyone is aware of their horrible business sale skills. You lost a life customer.
Terrible service! I went in to buy a new modem on 1/2/20 at the Polaris location. I was welcomed by the door associate (only good experience). I went to the isle with the modems. I asked (dont recall his name) what would be the best for what I was needing. He showed me two modems and then walked away and continued to restock other items. As I stood there picking up several modems and comparing, this same associate walked by me three other times in which one of those times he acted like I was in his way.Needless to say, I let after about 10 minutes. I did not make a purchase from Best Buy. I went to my car and purchased a modem from Amazon. I will never return to this location and probably stay away from all BB stores.Customer service is #1 behind price in my opinion. If you want to keep people coming into your store BB, please find some folks that want to do their job.
Excellent customer service DURING the sale and delivery staff were great, but our range delivery was delayed for an unspecified reason and we were not told about it! Now our major kitchen remodel is held up because of this! NO ONE answers the phone at the store and the delivery 866 number has 94-minute wait. WTF??! I have been on hold at the store for 30 minutes. This is TERRIBLE service after spending $ thousands with you.
This used to be my favorite store to visit. That being said its no longer the same store. I was shopping for RAM for my laptop. First employee I spoke with told me to go to the PC area. Then the PC area employee told me I had to speak to the Geek Squad, who then told me I had to have an appointment. I was stunned. I just want to but some ram cant you sell me ram? To which the Geek said oh its over there next to the PC area. This actually happened. So I go to the RAM shelf and theres already an employee there getting RAM for another customer. Shortly after the Geek comes over so I now have 2 employee helping surly I get some service now. Nope. Between the two of them they couldnt figure out if the RAM in my pc could even be replaced? Finally I said look I have taken the RAM out before just sell me two sticks of 16G DDR4. To which the Geek replied Oh we dont keep RAM over 8G in the store, you have to go online. Save yourself a visit and do your shopping online.
I went to the Columbus Polaris store. Its been almost 2 years since I have been there. The store layout changed dramatically over time. Smaller DVD area, much larger computer and television area. Larger cell phones area. I liked how they eliminated the long queue for cashier lines. Now those are contained with the same area where one buys their merchandise. Very similar to the department store layout. I was asked often if I needed help. Eventually I did, and the sales tech was very knowledgeable. Also, BB matches the prices for Amazon sold exact same goods. Take your smartphone to look at prices to confirm. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. If I dont want to wait for an online delivery, I will not hesitate to go to this store to get the product immediately.
I understand it being busy even though I stopped there an hour before they closed and they were only allowing on line pick ups. Came back today to get an iPod touch. Greeter thought he knew where they were but I never found them. Finally after 15 minutes of an associate standing and taking I had a chance to ask a second person about it. She seemed ok to help but instead told a cashier what I was looking for. He finished helping me while she was of talking to another customer. Not likely to be back here again. I know I should have left after these attempts. Other places sell the same item.
Went in to purchase a new modem and router and was helped but a very knowledgeable employee named Matt. He provided us with a wealth of knowledge and felt that we were able to make the best decision because of him! Also have an idea for future investments that we will be looking at.This Best Buy is always on it, never met a rude customer service rep ever. Jamal saved my night when I was on the hunt for Mario Kart for the Nintendo Switch and he found it for me within seconds when all the displays seemed empty when I checked.
5 star for BB customer service for compensation 0 (ZERO) star for the installation guys!I ordered a washer and dryer combo which was delivered on Sunday. Since we recently had a house fire and are still in the middle of reconstruction the electrical outlets werent in place yet so the installation guys hooked up everything else but couldnt plug the appliances into the outlets.After reading some horror stories about washers getting destroyed from the shipping bolts not getting removed I sent my husband outside to catch the installation guys before theyd leave and ask to make sure that they removed these bolts which one of the guys replied that they did. 5 minutes later one of them runs back in the house to look through the washer to make sure. After checking he confirmed that theyre not there and he was trying to explain to me how they usually just come out of the washer as they remove the packaging (huh? - these are screw in bolts, how could they possibly just fall out?!). But since I assumed that they must be knowing what theyre talking about as they likely do this on a daily basis I just trusted their word.Today (Tuesday) as my outlets have gotten installed I was ready to finally wash clothes in our own washer rather then use my neighbors but some weird instinct told me to check the installation manual just to make sure that everything was done correctly. So I open the washer, get the manual out AND the fully wrapped installation kit and started to read it.1st step: REMOVE SHIPPING BOLTS. So I go and look at the back of the washer AND ALL 4 BOLTS WERE STILL FREAKING IN THERE!! Even after I asked them specifically if they surely removed them and even after the guy coming back and checking to make sure that they did.I called Best Buy customer service immediately to share my frustration and express my concern about the knowledge of their installation guys and they issued a compensation credit which I appreciate.However I feel like that they should have workers whom are trained much better to install expensive appliances as I dont think that your average Joe customer should be the one being responsible to triple check their works. Just imagine that they install this washer into your Grandmas house (who would likely not even have the thought to check anything to see whether or not things were properly installed) and her whole house gets flooded due to the experts wonderful skills *strong sarcasm*! This is unacceptable!Ive always ordered my large appliances from HD in the past and never had such issue. (The only reason I ordered from BB this time was because HD didnt have these w&d combo in stock. But Ill rather wait in the future unless BB decides to start training their installation guys properly.)Now I just hope that the appliances themselves will be working out well at least.Okay guys, thats all. This was our second big trip to best buy in the last month and it was just as successful as the first trip. Coincidentally, we were helped by the same guy both times! Steven helped cash us out and answered all our questions. We love Steven! Not only was he super helpful, but he was SO nice and easy going. He recognized us right away which made us feel like regulars. We cant say a bad thing about Best Buy and will make all of our electronic/large appliance purchases here.
Got a phone there last year and they made me switch services for about a month and that I wouldnt have to pay anything since I was already on a different plan. A year later and I received a bill from a dept collector calling saying I owe money from a year ago and that Best Buy lied to me about it saying Id still have a final bill. Complete trash of them to be lying to customers about just to make a sale.
We ordered an IPhone 11 pro and an Apple Watch from Best Buy near Polaris. Since I’ve bought my last 5 phones as well as thousands of dollars worth of equipment from the Best Buy in Hilliard and everything went smooth I thought things would be the same with the Polaris location . BOY WAS I WRONG. We successfully purchase the watch but the phone color we wanted wasn’t in the store that day. No big deal. So we have it set to be sent to our house so we can just bring it back to have our information transferred form phone to phone. 2 days later out of the blue we receive an email saying our order has been cancelled. We call Best Buy only to be on the phone with them for 2 hours. What a nightmare. We end up driving to Best Buy to sort it all out only to figure out they have no clue what they did wrong or why they cancelled it. Fast forward 2 MORE HOURS. Still no word of what’s wrong. No manager or supervisor in sight. We couldn’t get ahold of anyone who was ANY help. We returned the watch, returned the phone. Best Buy at Polaris will not receive ANY of me or my families money.
Dont like the receipt check on the way out. Some security team members need to understand the laws behind Shopkeepers Privilege. I bought a $5 item and had to wait 10 minutes to leave the store because of a dispute going on between the receipt checker and a customer that blocked the exit. Came very close to just returning it and leaving. Enough is enough. I wont shop there anymore.
We purchased a new washer and dryer from Best Buy, LG brand. The price was comparable to competition, they provided free shipping and installation, at least in the Memorial Day sale, and the associates were really knowledgeable about the products. They could answer all our questions and gave us insights into each machine. They were very patient, and kept checking on us as we were trying to decide which to purchase, making sure our questions were answered, giving us enough time to think. Good store!
Computers were reasonably priced relative to Amazon and online. Had the laptop I wanted in stock. Salesman was knowledgable and helpful. Tried directing me to sale model then upgrading to higher model than I wanted. I did get accidental warranty which I never do but for replacement due to water or damage , battery replacement in the future it seemed reasonable
My appointment for install was cancelled without my knowledge, my items were missing and it took them 1 hour to find them. My reschedule was 2 weeks out, after waiting two weeks for this appointment. Despite the obvious error being on the computer system of Best buy, the manager just shrugged and said sorry after wasting 2 hours (with transportation) of my time.
Do not come here to browse, every time I come I’m bombarded by at LEAST 5 employees. “Can I help you with anything?” - No I’m fine. Then they continue small talk. I get it customer connections are great, they’re trying to sell stuff, but learn social cues and hints. If a customer wants to be left alone leave them alone. If they need help there’s already 20 wandering employees for US to approach. Whoever is managing this place is telling employees to give an excessive amount of help which is not needed. Overall the store is great! Employees not so much. They are friendly but sorry I do not need all the constant attention.
Contact less pickup was beyond belief horrible. Waited 40 mins, went inside at another customers suggestion, thru the line in 10 mins, brought my TV to the front of the store, and they were not allowed to step past the curb. No carts for big tvs either. Took it by myself to the sea of 40 ppl waiting for someone to bring their order. AVOID GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I purchased a tv on Black Friday with my wife. While her Best Buy credit card limit would only allow for a certain amount of the purchase to be put onto the card, I had to decide how to pay the remaining balance (about $1000). I previously had a best buy credit card, but it was closed a couple of years ago due to inactivity. With this purchase, I could have paid it all off on the spot, or I could have financed it. Since best buy was running a 0% financing offer, I decided I would just finance it and make the payments to pay it off interest free. I was told that I could not re open my older credit card, which had a limit of around 5k. So I was told that I would have to apply for a new credit card. When I applied, I was only approved for $1,000 somehow (I make enough money and have excellent credit). So now I have a new credit card, with a lower credit limit, and a hard inquiry on my credit report. Annoying to say the least, but not a huge deal, seeing as how I could just pay off the card at any time, and then have my credit bounce back. BUT, what I was not told, was that there was a $59 annual fee for the card. My last credit card didnt have a fee, and I dont plan to use this card at all once its paid off. Had I known this, I would have just paid the $1,000 remaining balance, NOT open a credit card with a low limit, and NOT have a hard inquiry on my credit report. And if I pay off the balance and then go to close the account, it will also negatively impact my credit as well. Instead of Best Buy trying to help come up with the best option for me, and tell me about the annual fee, they seemed too busy making sales on Black Friday. I highly advise against anyone trying to finance with them, as they will try to just push the sale on you.

I call hotline many time and I have case number: 253061711 but important thing is when I ask or show case number to staff at BestBuy, the girl told me I dont know you have to wait or I can cancel for you, I dont know the name but the girl wearing the green glass, very bad and impolite with customer. If the store dont have Item just let me know but why I have to wait until store closed. Result is wait 3 hours dont have Item and told me 2 options, first to cancel my order or wait for delivery 10 day later. I think I deserve an explanation.
Great store, friendly & knowledgeable people, but they GOTTA up their game on the discounted (Complete Box Set Movies). All these Marvel movies 1, 2 & 3 available online for $40-$50, and Best Buy only has them for sale SEPARATELY - costing over $80 to get them all at once.Come on now!! :-( We dont need any more cool stores closing because online is doing the most! Get with it Best Buy! :- Im rooting for ya!
Never really liked this store. The employees are rude and seem to always be watching you like a criminal but when you go to ask them a question theres magically nobody around. Weve had multiple instances where Ive been stopped at the front door because the security person had seen my tattoos on my arms while others in front of us walked right bye.
I ordered my TV through the app to just be able to walk in and pick it up. When I got home I realized they gave me the wrong model number that was cheaper than I paid for. It was a 40 min drive one way. This kinda takes away from how convenient the app is supposed to be! I will probably just order from Amazon from now on.
I went to pick up more devices for our home. Tyler was extremely helpful he was polite, professional and held 1 of the 2 devices that they had in the store. I didnt want to drive to Reynoldsburg, thats how Tyler helped me so much... He took the time to do what many others might not have done!!
First off I would agree with the reviews here about associates neglecting customers. However, the three stars I gave this place are for a reason-I usually dont post reviews but this was my experience- went to this Best Buy location on Sunday. We were waiting and hoping to talk to someone to get an opinion and info on a product we were going to buy but couldnt find anyone. Most of the reps were either unavailable or busy bullshitting with each other and thereby neglecting customers. Finally after picking up what we needed we went over to Geek Squad but no one was there so as we walked towards the CS counter right next to it. The girl over there rudely and with an attitude (as if we were coming to bother her while she was busy talking to one of the other reps told us to just wait at Geek Squad. This certainly frustrated me and I was going to talk to a manager after check out if at all we decided to buy anything here.However, at checkout we dealt with Emily (I think that was her name- she said its a common name but the only one in that store). She genuinely apologized and was super helpful(went way out of her way to help out walking back and forth between her post to the product shelf to help us get what we needed not just that Sunday but the following Monday as well with another product. If it wasnt for her helping out and stepping up where others didnt this place was definitely a one star if that experience. Keep up the good work Emily and thanks again for all your help!
I have always loved Best Buy as a store. However I am convinced that the chain suffers from the same thing almost all box retailers are suffering from: staff that dont seem to want to engage with guests and therefore discourage people wanting to go back. I was in the store for about five minutes looking for an item and no one apprached me.To be fair many on staff were busy with other people. The customer in the comuper section had to do the same thing as me: engage the employee first to get attention.The employee I approached was more than helpful and was able to deliver my needs accurately and quickly. My transaction was smooth as can go. This however is par customer service. Nothing wowed.I still go here though.
Just experienced the best help from an employee at Best buy ever. His name was Arron. He helped us in the gaming department. He truly cared and took the time. This kind of help and respect is hard to come by these days. I hope best buy realizes how valuable he is as an employee! thanks
The people in the store are very easy to deal with and very accommodating. I bought an open box TV that was missing the remote. They did their best to help me out. I would have given them 5 stars but their call center in Dublin is absolutely horrendous! It is impossible to get through to the store on the phone, you have to physically go there. They need to fix this!
They refuse to answer the phone even with plenty of employees at the store. I had to drive 40 minutes only to get denied from purchasing the floor model. Why wouldnt you sell the floor model if the store isnt even open yet? Customer service over corporate policy is what were missing from these big box companies.
Great customer service. Many friendly, helpful agents to assist me and picking out a tool for my GoPro Hero 5. Even though I dont expect them to know what item I need for a specific requirement, but they always seem knowledgeable and get me the item I need. So helpful! Thanks Best Buy!
We were looking for a Microsoft Surface. This store had a sell and the price was very reasonable. The support person was very knowledgeable, not pushy, and extremely patient with our questions. There were additional items on sale (detachable screen and a stylus). We didnt buy but were totally open to do so based on the price and service.
Wow not only did I wait 10 minutes for a person to pick up the phone but when they did they proceeded to talk over me without letting me explain anything and then when I finally got to talk they acted like it was my fault! The disrespectful sass on this person was also immeasurable. I will never preorder anything from best buy ever again. The utter audacity of that person. Customer is #1 and you just lost a customer. You need to train your people better. Absolutely awful. Shame on this store.

Best buy is a great place to go and actually see, put hands on, and mess around with electronics. Everything they have has a floor model to play around with. I do like being able to go there and hold a new device I am looking to buy. Even if I dont get it from there because someone else has it cheaper. But, if you find it cheaper somewhere else get a Best Buy Manager to give you a discount so it is the same price or cheaper than the other place. Cant lose that way.
Called in to speak with an associate in the Home Theatre department and was told they don’t have time to speak with me on the phone and if I need something I need to come in. Safe to say the customer service from this particular Best Buy is not managed appropriately. I have been a loyal Best Buy shopper for years, but prices are the same on Amazon, I will be taking my business going forward there.
I was looking at an Apple Watch while my husband chased our toddler around. Everyone was so nice! The guys in the tv section put on puppies for him to watch! The only thing is open box Apple watches are just about the same price as a new one. The guy selling the Apple watches was extremely patient as I wasn’t sure which one I wanted.
I recently ordered a washer and dryer to be delivered on June 10th. When the delivery arrived the washer was damaged so they left the dryer and I was told someone would contact me. No one ever contacted me. I reached out numerous times. The delivery was rescheduled without consulting me. I reached out again only to be told the washer wasnt shipped on time and I would have to reschedule again. I returned the dryer cancelled the washer delivery and went to Home Depot! Missed opportunity best buy! There are too many stores that sell the same merchandise. GET IT TOGETHER!!!🤨
Have not been in this store for 3-4 years. Clean unless mega-sales are running. You know that Black Friday madness.... we Most small appliances (needed a new coffee maker) are shown online but only available in the store. Rather a bummer. Best Buy has good sales & generally good merchandise.
Well I was in que for 15 minutes on the phone as I pulled up to pick up an order. She said the phone reroute and doesnt ring up front🤔? Even when I hit the option to speak to a store member? There was 3 members at the front door when I walked in. Nobody acknowledged me and they all walked off after I was looking distressed. I had to say excuse can you help me. She couldnt, but she did find someone who could.
I freaking love Best Buy. I can walk around in this place for a couple hours just browsing. Even if you dont intend on buying anything, its a really good place to go to figure out what you want. I was in there last week looking at wireless headphones. I just wanted to get a feel for whats out there and what things sound like. The only problem I have with Best Buy oh, is that the workers are a little too attentive. You cant turn down an isle without someone asking you if you need some assistance.

2022-06-10Beware!!!!! this store is selling used products as brand new.The staff personnel convinced me that there’s renovation going on at the store and for that reason some of their boxes have dust on them.I asked to see if they have another similar product which was better looking and I picked that one. Had dinner and came home only to realize the room a was a used one. There are sign all over the inner crevices and intakes of the vacuum as seen in the pictures.

2021-12-30Plenty of electronics devices through out the pandemic. Well stocked with most popular items. There seemed to be many boxed Samsung tv sitting on the store floor. The staff was able to answer all of my questions on some newer technology.

2022-04-04Went here to purchase a new phone, the Google Pixel 6. Team member Ty helped answer my initial questions about the Pixel 6 vs the Pixel 6 Pro. He was very helpful.After a brief wait, I was paired with team member Emily who helped me through the registration and purchasing process. She also offered to transfer my phone content there in the store in case I had any issues. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.Whole process in and out took about an hour. Only suggestion I have is to avoid going on a Sunday afternoon so you dont have to wait.

2022-06-12At the time of my visit the store was half closed using plastic to decide the areas. I presume they are remodeling. The store was poorly laid out and 80 to 90 percent if the shelve were bare. I was directed to another Best Buy to purchase my TV. I am assuming the low product levels are because of construction. Either way I had to wait 30 min for someone to assist me.

2022-03-30Order appliances last year in October. Still have not received them all because they keep getting damaged. Not only that good luck getting there third party installation people to do anything. Make appointments and they dont show up. This has occured multiple times and then they dont bother to communicate at all! Store personnel are unable to even get the correct service address put into the system. Do not waist your time having things delivered or installed. Pick it up yourself and find someone to install. I can not suggest enough not to waist your time having anything shipped or Installed through best buy! Horrible is lack of a better term for their Third Party installation and delivery services!

2022-06-29I had picked out two different TVs on their website. Both said they were available for pick up at the store. I get to the store and the inside store is under construction and you cant go in. They did have a decent setup to assist customers outside at the front. Both TVs I picked out was out of stock so I ended up spending an extra $100.00 dollars. They went in and got the TV, brought it out to me and checked me out outside. They did have associates there to help get it in the truck.

2022-05-14Great store associates. Too bad they are getting thrown under the bus by Best Buy as a whole. DO NOT GET THE CREDIT CARD. DO NOT COUNT ON ANY REWARDS. They will flat out lie to you about rewards and just spam your email with certificates that dont work. If you call them, they just transfer you around from department to department explaining to you how their convoluted system is your problem.

2022-04-06Not a bad location. Staff are kind and mostly knowledgeable but they are either super overstaffed with many people just talking to each other OR super understaffed where it takes forever to get some help. Every time I go in I spend longer than I need to to get my items even if it is just to pickup an online order.
