Had a sewer line issue at 10:40p. Made a call to Benjamin Franklin plumbing and they were at my house in 20 minutes. Saw the problem and alleviated the immediate issue, had a crew back to my house the following morning and solved the problem completely. For the work that they did, the price was good.Very nice, personable people who care about their work. Will definitely call again when I have a plumbing need.
We live in an older home, so its important to have a good plumber. Our previous plumber no longer does residential service, so we needed to find a new one when we were having some troubles with sewer smell in the bathroom.Shawn and Jeff came out. They were professional, polite, punctual, and knowledgeable. They had us squared away in a jiffy, explained the problem well, and Jeff gave us great advice for handling other smelly problems too!The price was reasonable and were quite happy with the service. They will now be our go to plumbers when the next need arises.
Amazing amazing service...... Where do I start?? We had went through very frigid subzero temperatures and as we are use to we dripped our water..... I woke up at 7am Friday Feb 1 after traveling 26 days to hearing gushing water under my house...... Quickly shut everything off and went to search for local plumbers...... I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing because the reviews were great, the young lady that answered the phone told me she would have plumber call me.... Within a minute I received the call explained the situation and he advised and told me they would call to schedule me..... I called them to save the time and we set up for Monday at my request because we were single digits.....I received a call back a couple hours later and they didn’t want us to go without so they squeezed us in for Saturday The Next Day!!!Jeff was our amazing plumber that showed up to assess the situation and see if it was viable to fix that day. Having to make several trips to get the parts he had our water back on within a very short time and I cannot begin to say how quick, efficient, and thorough Jeff was!In all honesty I don’t think you can go wrong with Ben Franklin plumbers in Grove city Ohio they were amazing thank you so much for saving us!!!
We called tonight because of a flood in our basement. They arrived within 15 mins. And got a new sump pump up and running in 10 mins. Thank you so much. I will definitely recommend their services
Tim came out on short notice and fixed my shower cartridge after another company tried to “fix” it. The other company was going to try to bill me for more work than what was needed and I called these guys to come out and fix the problem after I told the other company to leave. Tim was very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him and his company if your looking for a quality repair and a reasonable price. Don’t make the mistake I did and just call him first.
I highly recommend this company. They came out on a Saturday evening and removed a root that was clogging our sewage system. They were fast, professional and courteous and Very reasonable on their fee. We will definitely use them in the future should the need arise!
What an excellent experience we had with this company. We woke up to a non-functioning toilet Sunday morning. After trying all the tricks and it still not working, we called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and they were at our home within a couple of hours. Not only did he (the owner) repair our toilet, we needed all the shut-off valves and hoses replaced on every toilet and sink in the house, and he replaced all of it. He took care of all of that, plus replacing our kitchen faucet because it was leaking (we had not been aware it was leaking). All of this was done within a couple of hours, and the price was extremely reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised as we had been pricing the replacement of all the valves and hoses, and this was cheaper than what we expected...with the added bonus of a beautiful new kitchen faucet. We will DEFINITELY use them again, and we HIGHLY recommend you use them for your plumbing needs!
I have nothing against the plumbers who came today they were both professional and nice but I do have a problem with this company who literally stood in my house for no more than 10 minutes and used my fuse that needed replaced they never used their own equipment but they have a minimum of a $105 to come to your house so for 10 minutes of doing pretty much nothing and using my supplies I got ripped off. Im sorry but I will not recommend nor will I ever use them again.
My water heater stopped working, the plumber knew exactly what was wrong, ordered the part and came over quickly to install the new part on my water heater. The price was affordable, the service exceptional and the plumber was nice. I am thankful.

Will hire again! Really great customer service experience. I hired Ben Franklin to rough in two half baths in my duplex and they did great work. They worked around my scheduled and let me know exactly what they were doing each step of the way. Cleaned up afterwards as well.
Scheduled me super quick. Lady on the phone was super super nice!! They came during the appointment time. Mike B and Jeff came out. THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Super nice and respectful of my house. I hired these people to remove a bathroom sink which had cracked and install the replacement sink. They came early, which was nice. And the new sink is in. But I would never hire them again. They left a mess - silicon all over my granite counter top, the new sink, even the handle on my storm door. The sink is not properly centered in the opening. And they chipped my granite counter top and didnt even have the courtesy to tell me. They rushed in and out of here and charged a lot of money.
I have now found my plumber! Tim came & fixed my garbage disposal & clogged sink. They were able to get me in the same day, and were at my home less than half an hour. Tim was very informative and helpful. I didnt feel like I was being sold or scared into buying anything additional. I will definitely use them again, and recommend to friends.
We have used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing twice now and this experience was just as great as the first time. They are reliable, they do great work, and are reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
Water heater wasnt working. They were at my house within 2 hours when majority of other plumbers had a waiting list of 6 weeks on average. Very friendly, and fixed my water heater within an hour. Definitely recommend
Ive used Ben Franklin Plumbing in Grove City multiple times. Theyve always been fast to respond, show up when they say they will, and resolve the problem on the first visit. Ive even used them outside normal business hours and received prompt and friendly service. They are my go-to plumber in the Grove City area.
This is a fantastic plumber! Tim Lott is by far the most experienced plumber I know, and he instills that into his employees as well. If you have any plumber issues, this should be your go to everytime!
Very unprofessional, hard to get solid answers from, and even harder to get a hold of. They did the work 3-4 months ago, but when it came time for the plumbing work on the gas line to be inspected the inspector would not approve it since the work had been done under wrong kind of permit. Only found out this was the problem a few weeks ago from the plumbers too. Since then they will not call back, or respond to emails and still have not applied for the correct permit. I do not recommend them. Now we have to find a new plumber and hopefully theyll work on someone elses work or else well have to have all the work re done. Its been an awful experience.
Called Ben Franklin today about gas line requirements for a tankless water heater. From my research, Ive learned that these take a lot of gas. Other contractors I talked to seemed to guess about the requirements, but the guy I spoke to at Ben Franklin explained the install process perfectly. Thankful there are companies out there who know how to do jobs correctly!
Fast and fair. Called them this morning to unclog our disposer. They were here within two hours and fixed the problem quickly. Only charged us for an express service call even though he had to take apart the plumbing under the sink to fix it. Very fair!!
Set up a time for them to come out to a house I am working on to install all new plumbing, waited all day for them to arrive, the guy looked the job over and said he would get me a quote. That was 2 months ago and never got a quote, thanks for wasting a day of my time !!
Jim and his team are fabulous. They were on time, and fixed everything we had wrong quickly and didnt cost an arm and a leg. They will be our go-to plumbers going forward.

Was having a panic attack thinking it was the roots from a tree in my mainline and I was going to half to have a backhoe come out in my backyard for three grand. Guy came out and told me that 90% of the time this machine takes care of it and to calm down and not panic. He was right and pulled out a lot of roots from my main line and got it totally clear. then he told me what to buy at Home Depot and Lowes once every month or two to stop the routes from growing in my line. So not only did he keep me calm but he fixed the problem and then told me how to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I have a friend from Roto router who I went to high school with who was going to charge me $375 for the Exact same thing that this company did for $205 exactly. It kind of upset me when I found out rotor router gets paid off of commission and that I wasnt getting a deal from them but my so-called friend was making a couple hundred off of me. These guys were complete strangers and did me better than people I have known my whole life. I have an older house and Im sure problems will reoccur especially with cast iron pipes but I am a Benjamin Franklin Plumbing customer for life or at least as long as they are around nothing short of amazing.

Theyve helped me out with emergency service 3 times now. A clogged downspout, sewage lime blockage in my finished basement, and a dead sump pump during heavy rain. Satisfied every time!

2022-06-11Ben Franklin was a little steep on comparison to other estimates I got for installation of our water heater. But, they were the fastest to respond and did so in a professional manner.I thought our water heater was leaking, and the owner of the company called me and a technician was out within an hour. Turns out it was condensation from our furnace. The technician cut new piping and kindly created a way for the condensation to get out of the home instead of pooling in the basement.This was not his responsibility yet, he helped and insisted I not pay him.I would recommend this business.

2021-09-03We made an appointment to fix a bathtub faucet handle that had broken off. The two plumbers they said they did not have the part, would order it, and call us to set up an appointment once the part was received. Two weeks later, after not hearing from them, we called the office to inquire about the status and were were told it would be another two weeks for the part to arrive (1 month for a part????). Two weeks later, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing called us saying they had received the part, remember seeing it with your name on it, but cant find it anywhere. They had to reorder it again. Finally, the part comes in and their fix was totally unacceptable. After waiting 1.5 months we now have one faucet handle that sits 1 inch higher than the other faucet handle. Wont pay them for this job! Wont call them again! Awful experience!

2022-06-28I have used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for several years. Their office staff and experienced plumbers are always warm and friendly - and possess expertise. They go out of their way to make sure that the job is done right and the billing is fair. I even had the privilege of meeting the owner recently and he even took extra time to chat a few minutes and pet my very hyper pup. Lol. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing if you have a plumbing issue!

2022-05-02Hot water tank was leaking so I called Benjamin Franklin requesting someone to come out and fix it. They sent a guy out on Wednesday april 27th and his name was Kelly. You dont want Kelly. I was at work when he came and it was just my mother and grandma home, my mother told him about seeing some water spurting out from the back from a pipe. He paid no attention to her and said we needed a whole new hot water tank, and quoted $1300 for the tank and installation. When I got home I called Mr Rooter to come out and look at it and they found the leak and fixed it right there same day. This company is a joke and trying to take advantage of old people who dont know better.

2021-04-12Tim and his crew did a great job under difficult circumstances in installing our shower and faucets. I have used his company for many other projects and highly recommed their work. His employees are professional w a yes sir no sir attitude. When they installed the plumbing for the shower it was all at perfect right angles ....it even looked professional. The other work was very challenging working w the very tight tollerances our bathroom had including adapting the furniture and the shower to make everything work. They did a marvelous job.

2021-06-18We hired Benjamin Franklin due to the pretty solid reviews on google. And while Im pleased to have a new toilet successfully installed and an existing one repaired, Im less than impressed with the care taken while in our home.1st Issue:We opened the garage for them to enter and exit while they worked. At some point they decided to use the front door to enter and exit, which we had not unlocked or suggested they use. This is because we just repainted the front steps two days prior, and we didnt want anyone stepping on them.2nd Issue:It being a rainy afternoon I would have also expected for protective coverings to be worn on their work boots... so that additional mud/debris/feces wasnt tracked into our home, and they werent worn.3rd Issue:The toilet we purchased ahead of time was sealed as I unsealed it after they got here... the parts they told us were missing were inside the box, so at this point Im not sure if the newly installed toilet even has everything it needs.4th Issue:As they were leaving we checked the toilet that was repaired and attempted to flush it. It was clogged and I had to ask them to come back inside as they were already leaving.All in all this wasnt a great experience by any measure. The quality of service and attention to detail was just not there. Its highly unlikely wed choose to use this plumbing company in the future. We just spent the last two hours scouring the inside of our home and the freshly painted front steps to remove the mud/debris/feces that was left in their wake... Not to mention that we were advised at the last minute that it would be up to us to rid ourselves of the old toilet now sitting in our garage.

2021-03-13Great, fast service, fair prices. I can not more highly recommend this business!Ive been meaning to leave this review for over a year, but better late than never! During a huge storm here in Columbus, when we later learned that thousands of people had sump pump failure and basement flooding, ours began to flood around 11 in the evening. When we contacted Benjamin Franklin, they were at our house in less than an hour, even though it was nearly midnight by that point. The gentleman turned out to be the owner, who had been working nonstop all evening and said hed probably continue to work until the early hours of the AM. Still he was polite and professional, and worked quickly. He showed us what had failed and explained how he was replacing/repairing things, and then, he waved his after-hours fee without us even asking.The next day, I noticed that when the sump pump finished each cycle, there was a hissing sound, and small amount of water escaping from the seal. I called, and they were again out very quickly and fixed it for no additional charge. Weve yet to need a plumber again, but we will undoubtedly be calling them when the time comes.

2021-03-15Used BF plumbing to have a new water heater installed in my home. The scheduled time was a helpfully small window (2-4), they showed up early, were friendly, and worked pretty quickly. Cleaned up everything before they left and the quote that I got when I initially called was the exact price I was charged.The only thing I will note is that when I called for the initial quote and when I called to schedule, I confirmed both times that the brand I would receive would be Rheem. They installed a Bradford White instead without notifying me of any changes. Not really a big deal but something to keep in mind for those who might have a strong preference for brand.Would recommend/use again
