Ben Franklin was a little steep on comparison to other estimates I got for installation of our water heater. But, they were the fastest to respond and did so in a professional manner.I thought our water heater was leaking, and the owner of the company called me and a technician was out within an hour. Turns out it was condensation from our furnace. The technician cut new piping and kindly created a way for the condensation to get out of the home instead of pooling in the basement.This was not his responsibility yet, he helped and insisted I not pay him.I would recommend this business.

We made an appointment to fix a bathtub faucet handle that had broken off. The two plumbers they said they did not have the part, would order it, and call us to set up an appointment once the part was received. Two weeks later, after not hearing from them, we called the office to inquire about the status and were were told it would be another two weeks for the part to arrive (1 month for a part????). Two weeks later, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing called us saying they had received the part, remember seeing it with your name on it, but cant find it anywhere. They had to reorder it again. Finally, the part comes in and their fix was totally unacceptable. After waiting 1.5 months we now have one faucet handle that sits 1 inch higher than the other faucet handle. Wont pay them for this job! Wont call them again! Awful experience!

I have used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for several years. Their office staff and experienced plumbers are always warm and friendly - and possess expertise. They go out of their way to make sure that the job is done right and the billing is fair. I even had the privilege of meeting the owner recently and he even took extra time to chat a few minutes and pet my very hyper pup. Lol. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing if you have a plumbing issue!

Hot water tank was leaking so I called Benjamin Franklin requesting someone to come out and fix it. They sent a guy out on Wednesday april 27th and his name was Kelly. You dont want Kelly. I was at work when he came and it was just my mother and grandma home, my mother told him about seeing some water spurting out from the back from a pipe. He paid no attention to her and said we needed a whole new hot water tank, and quoted $1300 for the tank and installation. When I got home I called Mr Rooter to come out and look at it and they found the leak and fixed it right there same day. This company is a joke and trying to take advantage of old people who dont know better.

My second time using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Both times have been very prompt, with great work, at a fair price. Wont use anyone else in Grove City at this point. Thank you!

Tim and his crew did a great job under difficult circumstances in installing our shower and faucets. I have used his company for many other projects and highly recommed their work. His employees are professional w a yes sir no sir attitude. When they installed the plumbing for the shower it was all at perfect right angles ....it even looked professional. The other work was very challenging working w the very tight tollerances our bathroom had including adapting the furniture and the shower to make everything work. They did a marvelous job.

We hired Benjamin Franklin due to the pretty solid reviews on google. And while Im pleased to have a new toilet successfully installed and an existing one repaired, Im less than impressed with the care taken while in our home.1st Issue:We opened the garage for them to enter and exit while they worked. At some point they decided to use the front door to enter and exit, which we had not unlocked or suggested they use. This is because we just repainted the front steps two days prior, and we didnt want anyone stepping on them.2nd Issue:It being a rainy afternoon I would have also expected for protective coverings to be worn on their work boots... so that additional mud/debris/feces wasnt tracked into our home, and they werent worn.3rd Issue:The toilet we purchased ahead of time was sealed as I unsealed it after they got here... the parts they told us were missing were inside the box, so at this point Im not sure if the newly installed toilet even has everything it needs.4th Issue:As they were leaving we checked the toilet that was repaired and attempted to flush it. It was clogged and I had to ask them to come back inside as they were already leaving.All in all this wasnt a great experience by any measure. The quality of service and attention to detail was just not there. Its highly unlikely wed choose to use this plumbing company in the future. We just spent the last two hours scouring the inside of our home and the freshly painted front steps to remove the mud/debris/feces that was left in their wake... Not to mention that we were advised at the last minute that it would be up to us to rid ourselves of the old toilet now sitting in our garage.

Great, fast service, fair prices. I can not more highly recommend this business!Ive been meaning to leave this review for over a year, but better late than never! During a huge storm here in Columbus, when we later learned that thousands of people had sump pump failure and basement flooding, ours began to flood around 11 in the evening. When we contacted Benjamin Franklin, they were at our house in less than an hour, even though it was nearly midnight by that point. The gentleman turned out to be the owner, who had been working nonstop all evening and said hed probably continue to work until the early hours of the AM. Still he was polite and professional, and worked quickly. He showed us what had failed and explained how he was replacing/repairing things, and then, he waved his after-hours fee without us even asking.The next day, I noticed that when the sump pump finished each cycle, there was a hissing sound, and small amount of water escaping from the seal. I called, and they were again out very quickly and fixed it for no additional charge. Weve yet to need a plumber again, but we will undoubtedly be calling them when the time comes.

The crew sent in was very polite and worked well around my needs. They worked fast and clean. I am enjoying our new, safer shower. They worked easily with the VA for payment due to my disability. I highly recommend this business for all of any plumbing needs.

Used BF plumbing to have a new water heater installed in my home. The scheduled time was a helpfully small window (2-4), they showed up early, were friendly, and worked pretty quickly. Cleaned up everything before they left and the quote that I got when I initially called was the exact price I was charged.The only thing I will note is that when I called for the initial quote and when I called to schedule, I confirmed both times that the brand I would receive would be Rheem. They installed a Bradford White instead without notifying me of any changes. Not really a big deal but something to keep in mind for those who might have a strong preference for brand.Would recommend/use again
