Benders Tavern in other cities:
Wow! Did we really travel over an hour to dinner on a Tuesday... YEP and I would do it again and again. First, the establishment is historical and that shows in an incredibly interesting way! You have to stop and think just how much history has past through their doors.Oysters on the half shell were fresh and left you wanting more!I then went out of my comfort zone and tried a Benders 60 year classic, Turtle Soup and it was amazing. My main was Eastern Halibut Ala Foley - Simply incredible!
The walleye my SO ordered was excellent but my steak was gray on the edges and raw in the center. It was near to closing so I get it, but it would have been nice to have my beer comped or something since we didnt have time to send it back. Waitress was extremely pleasant.
Cantons classiest dining . . . We ate smoked trout with cucumber yogurt salad, calamari, turtle soup, prime rib, scallops, sea bass, cheesecake, peanut butter sundaes . . . (four people, not just me) . . . All delicious, and we were well cared for by the staff. A beautiful night on the patio.
One of the best hidden gems in Northeast Ohio! Came in towards the end of the day and reviewed excellent service. Had fois gras, escargot, soft shell crabs and oysters on the half shell. Everything was top notch. Got to meet the owner and learn about the history of the place. I will be back, even if I no longer live in Canton!
The only thing that gives me more pleasure than dining at this old school beautiful and especially DELICIOUS restaurant, is to read the bad reviews from vegans about lack of options, animal lovers complaining about foie gras, wannabes foodies complaining about “presentation”, etc. What matters the most is that you get delicious and fresh seafood in the middle of Ohio. Get prepared to a different experience: no spices, no “kick”. The simplicity of the seafood preparations, it’s mind blowing, and it’s focused on enhancing the delicate flavors of the high quality product you will be served.Yesterday’s dinner was the soft shell crabs, Morel mushrooms, foie gras, grey sole, and the stuffed fresh flounders. Dessert was a bread pudding with crème anglaise.
Arguably 1 of the BEST dining experiences Ive had in an easy decade!! Rich cultural and sports history was explained by Stephen ( 1 of the most impressive servers I have ever encountered!!! He was a huge factor for my 5star rating ) in a way that helped me better appreciate where I was.On to the meal... FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! I was there with family and each meal was wonderfully prepared!!! Fresh, flavorful seafood and perfectly prepared beef were paired with succulent sides. I have a new favorite place to eat in Canton and I highly recommend it to all.
I can see why they are highly rated. They didnt show a reservation available for the time we wanted so I called. They were very friendly and found us a seat for a time that worked. The place is beautifully old. Great atmosphere. The servers are awesome, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food came out at the perfect pace, appetizer, salads, entrees with very little wait in between. The snails were very tasty. I had the crab stuffed portobellos and my wife had the special scallops. Mine was super flavorful and rich. Hers were out of this world sweet and so perfectly prepared. A bit on the pricey side but they delivered every bit of value for what we spent. We came down from the east side of Cleveland for a comedy show but Id make the hour drive again just to do a dinner at Benders.
This place might looked closed from the outside but well worth the visit. Is a bit pricey but we felt that you got what you paid for. My prime rib was cooked to perfection, my wifes scallops were to die for. The calamari was from another world, absolutely fantastic. Service was excellent outside of the dinner being brought out just a few minutes early. Honestly dont know where the complaints are coming from!
This place feels like we time traveled to the 70s to a tavern from the 30s. This is not a criticism. It was charming and the food was very good. Portions were sensible and appropriate. Price was reasonable. Wine and beer offerings exceeded my expectations. Staff very nice. I felt their Covid precautions were adequate.
Made a reservation for 6p on Friday night. Upon showing up they were ready to seat us but we wanted to sit outside. Apparently you need to specify preference when making a reservation. Not sure if you add that to the comment section? But it was my birthday so they sat us inside while they prepared a table for us outside. Truly appreciated it. Waitress was on top of everything. I chose the prime rib (only available Fri & Sat) which was super juicy and tender, but could have used a bit more flavor in my opinion. The Bender Fries are wonderful! Call me crazy but the Malibar Shrimp appetizer tasted like it had popcorn seasoning on it... it was great but I do wish you got more than just 2 pieces of shrimp for the price you pay. That being said we didnt leave hungry. Try not to fill up on rolls so you have room for the Flourless Chocolate Decadence for dessert. =)
I was extremely disturbed to see on the menu foie grass which translates to “fatty liver”” and made from a duck or goose liver that has become abnormally enlarged from a disease called hepatic steatosis which is caused by force feeding the animal very large amounts of good. It inflicts so much suffering for the animal that many countries have outlawed this. When I called, they said it was humane. There is absolutely nothing humane about this. These animals are in a cage very small and force feed until their livers are diseased. It is not on their menu on line. When I politely mentioned this to the waiter he said he knows that it is awful. I will never go to this establishment again.
Very good! I am always nervous when eating fish in the midwest far from an ocean, but this was fantastic. Large portions, comfortable atmosphere, super courteous and helpful staff. Will definitely be back and will be eager to try other menu items as it all looks delicious!
Where to start. If youre from the area, you undoubtedly have had the privilege visiting Benders Tavern at least once in your lifetime. If you havent, I apologize and recommend you experience it. They specialize in Seafood, but have a variety of Prime steaks as well. On the weekends they do a Prime Rib that almost sells out by 630-7 so make an early reservation or call and ask them to save you a cut. In addition to their fantastic menu, they have season and weekly specials. The second you walk in the building, your senses are drawn to the warm, dimmly lit feeling that you could spend hours absorbing the wonderful smells, and historic appearance. Their branded fries are a welcome twist and a must have. The wine selection is something youd expect from an old world joint like this. You can order a complex bottle or snag a glass of house, with everything in between. The staff is ALWAYS capable, professional and very kind. My suggestion; snag a beer at the bar, grab a sandwich, sit out front on a sunny day and try the haddock, or dine in and get the traditional experience. Either way, you wont be wrong.
Beware of the parking lot next to Benders. I arrived at the restaurant at 5:00 pm, for dinner, left at 8:30 and had a parking citation that cost $42.00The lot was unattended, there were no clear markings to “pay to park” at the lot or the restaurant entrance. I called the restaurant and they told me apparently you need to use your phone to pay for parking.$700.+ spent on dinner for (7) and at least 3 of us were tagged for $42 ea. Totaling $126 to park.Good food.
Made a reservation here for a nice dinner for an anniversary. Everything start to finish was a 10/10. The host was very nice, polite, and attentive. Then our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and took time explaining options and offering suggestions. The bar staff made us mixed drinks that were exactly as I had hoped to have them. To top it off the appetizers, entree, and dessert were all prepared flawlessly and delivered promptly. Price was very good for the quality of my visit. Will definitely visit again. If the owner reads this you have an amazing wait staff.
Benders is an iconic Canton restaurant. If you havent eaten here then youve missed out. The food is always outstanding. I had the snapper recently, it was a special, it melted in my mouth. My friend had the swordfish and he said its the best swordfish hes ever had. Its a must visit.
Food is always very good. Service was a little off tonight. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks. One of the appetizers didnt come out until at least 10 minutes after the other appetizers were served. We were there celebrating our daughters birthday and she didnt get her complimentary sunday.
The atmosphere was interesting with the history in front of us on our placemats. The food selection was very good, the food was well prepared and presented. The outstanding point; our server Doug R. His knowledge of wine, specials, and the entire menu was terrific. He engaged us in a manner of friendship and respect not often seen in the service industry of late. Great job by all of the staff.
Folklore-like local reputation and not so subtle tone of bravado throughout their advertising caused me to have much higher expectations for our first experience. We were kinda disappointed as everything we tried from the complimentary bread to the seafood options to theirside dishes were predonmonately just average to fair tasting at best, some items the sauce choices were just not to our liking at all. Disappointed really, but service was quality.
My experience is always good. While I love the menu the daily specials are what I look at first. Something new, something different. Had the Yellow Fin Tuna in the Cajun spices. It was excellent. The snails are wonderful, as are the crab cakes. Our side dish was zucchini with broccoli, onions in a tomato base sauce with basil, it was amazing! Hope to see that side more often. Dessert was good as well. Our servers have always been friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
Lovely restaurant with delicious Seafood and Prime Steaks. Had a great experience. Highly recommended. Its a higher end restaurant, to do it right, (apps, entrée, wine and or cocktail, maybe dessert) figure $75-125 per person out the door once you figure tax and tip.Really nice classic atmosphere with classically prepared dishes. A very good choice for people that like fish. Great high end fresh selection.
My husband and I dined at Benders Tavern Friday evening for the first time. We were in Canton, OH (for the first time too) to attend a concert that subsequently was cancelled. So we will be back in Canton when the concert is rescheduled...and we plan to go back to Benders Tavern again for dinner. And we plan to ask for our server, David, who is new to Benders and provided very good service to us during our meal. The list of daily features was long and it was supported by a fabulous and varied menu of seafood, beef, chicken, pork and pasta! My husband had the prime rib which was done to perfection. I had the Camp something-or-other preparation of fresh walleye...it was incredible! We also liked the salads...I had the wedge salad and my husband had the tossed salad. Someone mentioned the bread before...save your carbs earlier in the day you go to Benders and eat the roll. It is worth the carbs. We didnt try dessert as the meal was filling. Now about the ambiance: we entered from the outdoor seating into a really neat bar area. The next room had a high ceiling and it was kind of noisy. This was at 6:00 pm on a Friday and the restaurant was hopping. So Id say you would also want to have reservations, especially on a weekend. We asked the maitre d if we could have a quieter area. And he found a lovely room with several tables but it was noticeably quieter. The restaurant has been around for 100 years, so you know all of the owners are doing something right all of these years. Oh, and the top shelf Margarita was spectacular...I forgot to mention. This was a very memorable dining experience. We enjoyed it very much. We look forward to the rescheduled Dwight Yoakam concert and another delicious dining experience at Benders Tavern!
My husband and I celebrated 10 years together and decided to splurge at Bender’s for the special occasion, it did not disappoint. We started with appetizers of shrimp cocktail and 12 raw oysters. Our very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable waitress gave us the choice between two different oysters, we chose the larger. They were truly some of the best we’ve ever had, my husband said better than we’ve gotten by the ocean at times. Then for our entrees he got the Thai Chilean Sea Bass special and I got an appetizer portion king crab leg and then the crab stuffed portobello mushroom. My husband went on and on about how delicious it was! It was my first time trying king crab, couldn’t have been happier. Even though we were both stuffed we decided to keep the celebration going by splitting a dessert. We ordered what a table next to us got, I can’t exactly remember the name, but it was bourbon over vanilla ice cream with walnuts. Amazing! Everything from start to finish was so wonderful we left with big smiles on our faces.
My wife and I went there for our anniversary. Couldn’t ask for a better service and meals. Douglas was our server. Went well out of his way to make sure we had a very good time. Very good recommendations on wine and food for my wife. She had the halibut and I had a filet. Very well prepared. Douglas surprised us with a desert. Couldn’t ask for a better experience here. Will be back in the very near future. Thank you guys again for a very nice anniversary diner for my wife and I.
This was my first time time being here and let me tell you, everything I heard was true! The food, the atmosphere and the staff just everything was amazing! From the appetizers of rye chips and fresh horseradish and oysters to the main course of halibut with a side green beans. I couldnt have asked for a better meal. Absolutely fantastic!
This place has history and great food. We happened on Benders when working in the area and it was well worth the time. We got there late just before the kitchen was closing and ordered after reviewing the extensive fish and steak menu. We were told that the fish was flown in daily so I ordered the Yellowfin tuna and my associate ordered the Halibut. Both dishes were outstanding. My tuna was probably the best I have had and the Halibut was given a 10 out of 10. Service was excellent. I also had the key lime tort which was great. Nice selection of craft beer, house made salad dressings and tasty calamari, what else can you ask for. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.
The best restaurant in Canton when it comes to food. Im a beer drinker myself, it seems they specialize in mixed drinks, wine secondarily, and beer takes a backseat to the other two. I cant really speak to the quality of the former since I do not partake when beer is an option. The beer was sufficient, but not very complimentary to the meal. It would be great to see a few Belgian imports. The food couldnt be better prepared. Lots of fish options, and thats their specialty. I, however, had the pork chop at my last visit, and it was exquisite. Lots of appetizer options as well.
The food was amazing. The service was amazing. Very quick, polite staff. The waitress kept returning to our table to making sure everything was okay. Her recommendation for the Halibut was right on. It was very delicious. I have already recommended this restaurant to friends. All around great experience.
Great spot with some history (been around for over 100 years). Beautiful bar and plenty of seating in the adjacent rooms. Really reasonable prices for excellent food as well. This gastro-pub is actual upscale without being pretentious. If you are in the area I highly recommend. (I had the huge chef salad with a flat iron steak but I hear their fish is some of the best around-- Boston haddock and Erie walleye that day)
In town fr KC, visiting relatives. They took us here for lunch before we left town. They spoke very highly of it and we could see why. Husband had the meat loaf, I had the quiche with asparagus, shrimp and brie and they had salmon. Fresh fish brought in daily. The food was perfect! The waitress was great. Very pleasant experience!
There are very few restaurants in Canton like this. The food is incredible and the atmosphere matches. The wait staff has been there for years and they are knowledgeable, helpful and the best around. I grew up on the east coast and Benders puts anything Ive had out that way to shame. Try the nantucket scallops or the lobster escargot, if they have it.
I must admit that we had high expectations for Benders given its reputation and history, so on our first visit, my wife and I were pleased but not overwhelmed. The food was flavorful and interesting, but was not piping hot when it arrived. My steak was well-seasoned and medium-rare as I requested, and the sauteed mushrooms were so good that my wifes fork kept snatching them. The accompanying potato straws were too salty, but the baked potato with chived sour cream was just right. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, but service was decidedly slow on this Friday night. We were in no hurry, so my rating does not factor that in. Fine dining takes time.
We went to Benders the night after Valentines day..We had a late reservation. But when we arrived early, the staff put us right in and worked to find us a table. The food was great... awsome seafood!!! I had fried oysters... my only complaint was a shell the size of a penny was fried with the oyster.I could have broken my teeth.I loved the fresh sea taste. Also the veggie plate was not hot. It came out warm.I did not send my plate back, I just showed the shell to the staff.I will be back.Dwight
Did a late lunch there and the food and service were great. The lack of a 5th star doesnt mean anything was wrong or bad, just not excellent. Above average though. Food was cooked and presented well, service was great, although she seemed new and a little nervous, but she did well and checked on availability of an item instead of guessing, which is a plus. Some said it was rather pricey, but I found it a value at their prices, and surprised with quality at those prices. We were pleased with Benders.
A wonderful historical restaurant thats stood the test of time for 100 plus years which always has me coming back. If you enjoy old world elegance matched with timeless dishes and the best quality cuisine then look no further this is your spot. The lunch menu is reasonably priced, but if your looking for an upscale dinner that doesnt disappoint then one would expect to pay for that experience. Their seafood is always fresh while brought in daily to satisfy the demand that patrons expect. Dinner reservations are highly recommended.
Ive been here twice so far and had excellent meals. This is Cantons oldest restaurant and theres no surprise why...great food! Our server was very friendly and explained how they get their fish fresh from Boston three times a week. I had the Yellowtail Tuna with light Cajun seasoning and it was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and very tasty. My date got Turtle Soup and Grey Sole Fillet. I sampled both and they were outstanding. One of my sides was the Bender fries, which is flattened and grilled (kind of like hash browns). While it was tasty, it had a little too much oil on it. Not sure how its prepared.Parking lot is right across from the restaurant and if that fills up theres always street parking.Get reservations if youre going on the weekend as its a popular spot!
Hands down the best seafood restaurant in Canton and surrounding areas. Its an old historic building and Benders is a Canton treasure. The restaurant has a separate bar area. If you go, ask for Mary. Shes been there for I believe over 20 years and she will treat you right. She has great stories to tell. Last time I went I ordered the swordfish and my husband had the scallops. My first time having swordfish and it was beyond excellent. This is not fast food so be prepared to spend a couple of hours there for a relaxed dining experience. The place is pricey though so be warned.
This is one of our regular date-night places. I usually get a seafood (and I love that they have lots of interesting seafood options based on what is in season), and hubs often orders some sort of meat. It is always top-notch! We also love the history. If only those walls could talk. Really great place.
Mr. Jon Jacob,2) I would like to sincerely apologize for my behavior the evening that you asked me to leave your establishment and never come back. I am sorry that I called to have a late dinner and that you said that it was no problem, not to mention that you would get me a nice cabernet from the basement. Evidently, I should not have been allowed to come into your establishment late that evening after my appointment with one of my clients. I , again, sincerely apologize for requesting to come to your establishment for a late dinner.Obviously, as you have asked, I will not return to your establishment again. As a gentleman I will certainly honor your request and dine elsewhere. My final and parting words to you would be that you have done an excellent job in hiring your waitstaff and kitchen staff! They are impeccable and I have absolutely no complaints with regards to any individuals inside your establishment! Please give your father my best.Sincerely,Jeff Ramsey1) Since the ownership has changed hands, the professionalism and class that was once there with Jerry has started to dissipate. unfortunately. Being probably THE nicest restaurant in Canton, I hope to see that things will change and get back to where they were.
What can I say about Benders other than amazing? Their food is top-notch. I dont eat seafood in Canton unless its from Benders. And the atmosphere inside is incredible. You feel like you traveled back in time (in a good way). Try your fish a la foley. You wont regret it.
Went recently; used to be a very good place to eat however it has gone downhill. First the hostess lost our reservation however they were still able to sit our group. Second they sat us at a table that had another tables coats and bags around it and we had to move them ourselves despite the remainder of the dinning room being empty. Finally three of our steaks were ordered medium and all came out rare. The benders fries were cold and oil dripping. Would likely not go back to again despite having gone for years.
This has always been or “go to” special occasion dining choice for 25 years. But I would have to say this experience, while not bad, was less than expected. Can’t believe that when I called for a 7p reservation I was told only 6p was available, yet only 6 other tables were seated when we finished. Interesting. While the entrees were great as usual, the touted green beans with bacon and tomatoes were less than ordinary. Just greens beans with some onions, a little bacon and very little tomato slapped on top.Sorry to say this was not a special dinner this time.
Cup of chicken and asparagus and carrots soup: really good, seasoned, but not at all salty. Melt-in-your-mouth sea scallops: very nice. Sauteed broccoli and onions were good. Benders fries were okay, kind of like home fries. Atmosphere reflects the 116-year old history.
Great service bit each time I have been here the food was ok. this last time I had scallops and they were over seasoned with salt and were not seared off well. Grilled veggies were good. Portions were quite small for me. Nice building and ambiance, just not great food.
Food and service is great. Have gone for lunch for years and have never been disappointed. First dinner time visit. You would expect that when you pay twice as much for the same meal at dinner, the portions would be larger. Not the case at all. It was so underwhelmed when i saw my meal come out, that I immediately ordered another side as soon as the waitress put it down.Again, the food and service was great, but save yourself a ton of money and go and go at lunchtime. I will never go back at dinnertime.
An establishment that has seen better days. Dining room was dark, and not in a good way. The decor could use a update to make it look like its been decorated sometime after 1973. The wait staff wears strange looking, ill-fitting white jackets. Food was prepared well, but presentation and menu were unimaginative at best.
My colleagues and I checked this out during a business trip. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is quiet, good for conversation. Historical elements are all through the building. It even has the old signs which identify the separate mens and womens entrances, which are from a time when ladies didnt walk though the bar.
I love walking in and seeing Michael’s face. It is such a breath of fresh air that there are people so dedicated to serving the public. He is so polite and full of life. I remember how bad he felt my first time i was In there when he dumped the chicken Marsala in my lap. Because he trip over his shoelace. Still go ther till this day.
Terrible food .... very sub-par. They need to hire a real chef.. ordered fish, asked if it was going to be breaded... waitress said no... of course fish is served breaded. Bring a new plate of fish that was not breaded... THIS FISH TASTED LIKE SOME TYPE OF GAS OR FUEL!!!.. like they cooked it with a propane torch!!!.. Green beans old and crinkled!!!.. i dont get how the staff feels confident serving the food!!.. Several days before ordered morels .... they ruined them..served a pile is soggy mush!!!.Was so disappointed!!..Topper .... The brown short haired lady behind the bar.....TERRIBLE... this woman has no business serving anyone.. she is cold and sour with a personality of a wet paper towel... very uncomfortable even trying to talk to her... just down right Bitter woman
Terrible service again! After several visits to canton benders has always been my go-to. As of late the food has went down hill... the service is mediocre at best and last nite I couldnt believe my ears as I had an overcooked steak sent back to only have the manager come to my seat and try to pick me apart because the very middle was close to medium. Customer is always right?? Not there! Horrible experience and embarrassing to have to argue about a steak to a manager!
I split a steak dinner and soup with my girlfriend and the steak was excellent but the mixed green salad was iceburg with a little spinach thrown in, the lobster bisque was not good, and the fresh vegetable was spaghetti squash with marinara sauce on it....yuck! The waitress was very nice and brought out bender fries which turned out to be greasy hashbrowns, good but very greasy. If this were a $15 steak ok....but it was $65 with 3 glasses of wine between the two of us....not impressed and will not be going back

2022-02-26When you reach a top tier price point, you expect a certain level of service, food presentation and taste. Benders fell short on all. Our server Natalie seemed nice and accommodating like any server but then I realized she clearly plays the game the way the tavern wants her to. I had a strip steak with a lobster tail. This was a 60 dollar plate. I have had better at red lobster for much less. For sides I had broccoli and what is supposed to be their specialty fried brown like potatoes. When I first sat down and my wife and I ordered we were so excited. I was telling my wife in front of our server Natalie that Benders was a staple in the town and we should enjoy. I was very wrong. The 19 dollar lobster tail was more like a single jumbo shrimp the steak was not bad but nothing special at all. The potatoes tasted burned and greasy and the broccoli was over cooked and mushy and the side of mushrooms we ordered were obviously canned. When I mentioned these things to Natalie she simply shrugged it off by saying other people like the food this way and as far as the mushrooms she implied I was correct about them being canned by saying had they been fresh they probably would charge more. She said she would share my feelings with management and in a fine dining establishment you would think they would comes out and address the situation and make it right. NOPE! Natalie simply returned with two small ice-cream desserts that were supposed to sweeten the deal as she put. They did not, I left highly disappointed. Again at this price point I cant help but compare to lalas on the lake, capital grill, the bistro at gervasi and many other places that earned my praise. I will never return and you should avoid this place and spend at a place that cares about the level of service and overall dining experience. It was a waste of 180 bucks.

2022-06-28Absolutely fantastic experience at Benders. The food was fantastic, the outdoor patio is beautiful, and the service was TOP NOTCH. We have not had service like Benders in a very long time. Shawn, our server, was nothing short of exceptional. He walked us through the drink and food menu and we were so satisfied with his recommendations. At the end of dinner we left feeling like we had been going to benders for 30 years. We felt like family. We cant thank them enough for such a nice night out in Canton! (Get the yellow fin tuna, seared rare with light Cajun, its AMAZING)

2021-11-07Such a awesome dining experience. I dont know what was better, the atmosphere, the history or the food. We went for lunch and it wasnt the ordinary menu. it was excellent. It was difficult to decide. I had a Corned Beef Reuben. The corned beef was thinly sliced with crisp sauerkraut, cheese and a special sauce. One of the best I ever had. Other meals at our table were fried oysters, linguine and a broccoli cheese quiche. Cant wait to go back.

2022-06-05We loved this place! My cocktail was divine and my husband and friend enjoyed the fish and chips. We chose this restaurant for the history and were not disappointed in the ambience beyonce and the food.

2022-02-16We came in yesterday earlier in the evening, it wasnt busy. I let the server know it was our first time and I wanted to know what he enjoyed from the menu. He gave a few very generic examples of the most popular items, in a robotic fashion, and seemed to talk to us like we werent worth his time, sort if like we were ignorant, clueless, rednecks.. He did the bare minimum the entire time. I wanted to ask more questions, but he was very short, almost condescending, and didnt feel comfortable doing so..It was very unwelcoming. We ordered appetizers which were very good, so good I ordered the bay scallops for an entree. As an appetizer they were amazing, but the dinner was the same size for twice as much money, and this time they were soggy and tasted of raw flour. A true disservice to the scallops. Once again, because of the way the server acted, I did not feel comfortable complaining, feeling like he would think we just wanted free stuff. No manager ever came to check on the table. We may have stayed for dessert, but a obnoxious table was seated right beside us (mind you the restaurant was only a quarter full), so we just asked for the check. This place wasnt worth the hype it gets.

2022-03-30Came here for lunch today. We were seated right away. No one approached our table for 5+ minutes. We had no menus to look at during that time. Finally, someone brought us over a lunch menu and water. We both ordered salads. 18 dollars for a chicken Cesar salad. I wish I would have taken a photo. While the taste was fantastic, I was still starving after my meal. Half of a thin slice of chicken, 3 dainty croutons, and 5 LETTUCE LEAVES. No exaggeration at all. I have never experienced such little food for a price like that. I would say I was paying for the experience, but that is not accurate either. I would have been embarrassed as a waiter or waitress to set a plate down in front of a paying customer like this. Do better

2022-02-21Magnificent! Thrilled to see a cocktail menu with historically accurate vintage drinks like the Aviation and the Revolver. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was top notch. Shout our to Heath on the floor and his brother in the kitchen!

2021-09-02Visited on a Thursday around lunch. Excellent service, high energy server who took great care of our party of 8. Food had excellent flavor! Shared halibut and oysters. The table bread was fresh and full of flavor!! House made vinegerette!!!
