Big urban park with some rolling hills, beautiful trees, and a wide and wonderfully smooth, paved walking/running path. The disc golf course is fantastic, the wooden portion of the park gives you a feel for being out in the forest, and the wide-open fields gives you an expanse of fresh air and clear skies. Definitely a Dayton city gem.
Great, open disc golf course. Not too many places to lose discs but still challenging enough to have a great time. Nice little park. Could use more trashcans this time around though.
Great open space! Anticipating skating on the trail. Ive disc golfed here and some walking and I like it a lot. Larger parking lot isnt the best especially for small wheels.
The new play equipment is very nice and my daughter had an amazing experience playing on it. I hope that the people who made this decision are as happy as we were for having such an amazing day. Thank you for giving us a great place to play.

Review for the disc golf course portion only. Fun local course which is usually busy. Close proximity to perhaps the best disc golf store in the country: Hazy Shade. The course does get occasional updates but is a bit older.
Great place to play disc golf on a reasonably well-maintained course with plenty of shade. The other players on the course are mostly friendly and helpful and have been patient when Ive played with people new to the game or young children.

The disk golf course here is a a fun play. Wear your boots if its rained in the past day! Very well maintained, and most players and visitors clean up after themselves.
Spent a lot of my teen and post - teen years at Belmont Park. Lots of good memories. Always clean, great Frisbee golf course, very spacious and tons of green spaces. The baseball fields could use some work, and I wish they would replace the outhouse that they tore down as there are no longer any public restrooms. But still a great park.
Was not a huge fan of the disc golf course layout, was confusing to navigate and often times we ended up walking through holes that other people were playing and vice versa. Pretty heavily used as well, took a while to play because of a wait on every hole.
This is a great space for families and friends. Or just to have a picnic. And dogs on leashes are aloud but this is not a dog park.
Beginner friendly disc golf course. Mostly open, with a few trees. This course is maintained well with concrete tees and the basket locations change regularly.
Pretty large Park. Fairly well kept.One of the best disc golf courses in the area in my opinion. Could use a little sprucing up, but the baskets and concrete tees are in good shape which is the important thing. Wide range of types of holes. Great course!
A neighborhood park with a decent swatch of space with intermittent trees and hills, met with baseball diamonds and playground equipment. The disc golf course is pretty nice, and centrally located to multiple neighborhoods. Its pretty well marked for each hole, and offers beginners a good sense of the game.
Great Disc Golf Course with 19 baskets all par 3 with alternate tees and the baskets have alternate positions. Very nice open fields and also wooded area.
Great disc golf course. My dad has lived here for years right on the course. Its well kept. Didnt see ANY trash. Dogs had a great time too.
Very close to my house. Lots of open space to fly kites and run around with my dog. Never busy so great for shy kids to play. Great set of swing sets. Playground is older but still works.
Great disc golf course. Only 2 bad things: 1) the occassional local roaming the course drinking a beer or asking to throw your disc, 2) baskets 7 & 9 are along the road, throw into the road and theres a chance a driver or local will pick up your disc as a souvenir.

Good community great disc golf course, lots of open space and pet friendly. Always enjoy a good stroll across this 19 hole course then throwing some ultimate Frisbee on the side fields.
Great disc golf park in an okay part of town, park has gotten new baskets within the year and they take care of the course. Trash tends to build up around the pads if the city doesn’t pick up. Last week they drove the dump truck through the course and left tire tracks all over the soggy course. Not the best idea.

Ive only ever been to the park for the disc golf course, but the kids and I love it here. The city has made some major improvements to the course and its a must try for any fellow disc golfers

The paved walking trails is exactly 1 mile long. It has an awesome disc golf course.
Hard to find the entrance, parking lot is beat up, unless you enjoy Disc Golf theres no reason to go to this park. Cant even safely park without worrying a poorly thrown disc will hit you or your car.
Belmont is always a fantastic time. Usually pretty clean, and a ton of open holes to top your drivers. Could use a few more technical holes (for people that are accurate but cant throw 350+), but still fun.

You do NOT want to know the things Ive done in Belmont Park!This place is right down the street from my Grandmothers (RIP) house on Hazel. We would visit from Texas when I was a teenager and I would walk down there and spend a few hours.I have great memories from this place long before any disc golf course existed.Sledding down the hills and just goofing off....

Best disc golf around. The course is clear of hazards and it is easy to retrieve disks. Very well put together with signs at each hole.

I like Belmont Park alot. Lots of parking. The people who go there r very friendly. Plus they help keep it clean. Lots of room for the people who bring there dogs to run around. You can also park on Kennedy to get to some of the other Frisby Golf holes.
Nice disc golf course. 19 holes. Best to start at hole 2 and finish with hole 1 across the parking lot.

If you are in dayton and want to throw some disc golf this is one place you need to check out not very technical but has a couple of hole that can be aced and a couple of holes to air it out very friendly people of all ages on this course

2022-03-28Excellent location less than 2 miles from Hazy Shades Disc Shop. However the course has no variations and almost every hole is a rinse and repeat situation. Where some tee offs intersect and can be incredibly confusing if its your first time there.

2019-10-1419 holes of disc golf! Fun coarse through the park. Nice amount of trees and obstacles but not too many. Rolling hills makes it fun too. Only negative is that the ninth hole is pretty far from where you started. So if you only wanna play 9 holes, I played to 8, then skipped to 17, 18 and 19 to bring me back to my car. Great course though.

2022-06-27It a nice park, very nice Disc Golf course, a new bike/walking path, ball dimonds, lots of parking, newer childrens play ground but no restrooms that are open. You have to rent the shelter and the restrooms get opened

2021-09-25One of the most popular disc golfing courses in Dayton can be found here. Solid disc golf course with challenging as well as long-distance shots. Not the most difficult Disc Golf Course in Ohio but also definitely not the easiest. The reason it doesnt get a full five stars though is in fact due to its popularity! I wont come here to disc on a typical good day, simply because if nothing else, everyone had the same idea. And the park will be slammed.Antisocial complaints aside though it is really a great disc golf course to sink your teeth into and start fine-tuning your skill shots as well as your power shots even though crowded would definitely recommend to play

2021-03-13Played the disc golf course, which was fantasticly fun and well maintained. As a walker, so long as youre cognizant of walking amongst a disc golf course- you can see some cool shots while getting elevation changes and large tree exposure. 1 negative is no restroom, even a port-o-potty- for such a large public park.
