Very nice inside, clean, comfortable beds and extremely comfortable pillows. During our stay the manager on duty went out of his way to help us whenever we needed it, despite him being very obviously busy. The pool was AMAZING. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.
Ive lived in this town my whole life and have seen various stages of this hotel. It has come such a long way and is so much nicer than ever before. Our room had a spacious king size bed and was newly remodeled. Stickers were still on the bathtub. The owner is a very sweet man that offered a discount due to certain circumstances at the time. Definitely would recommend this place as it is a great value and very clean .
Scam artist, my Friend was staying there then they hired him they started taking his entire pay check and when he asked for some money to buy a car the man freaked out and fired him

My husband and I were staying to go to Cedar Point Labor Day weekend. We stayed two nights, the first we were staying in their main building that has exterior entrances. This night was not great. The room was clean but very old and had a strange mildew-like smell. It was a room with double beds and they were older mattresses, with older sheets (though they had nice bed bug covers on them). The next day we reported the odor to the owner, who despite a mostly full hotel, remembered our names :) he apologized and when we asked about rooms with interior access, he offered us a free upgrade to a room with an interior entrance, king bed and jacuzzi tub. This room was fantastic, by comparison. It was also clean, but had nice aesthetic amenities, such as a bed canopy, flowers, small sitting area, and plenty mirrors. There was no odor at all. We were very happy with the customer service and with the accommodations afterward. Definitely worth the stay.
Looked like a cheap nice option. The pool looked great on the website. The pool was small but nice, and the hot tub was very nice and hot. But the air did not work in our room and we woke up sweating so badly. They could not fix it so I used a box fan from the laundry room to get through the night. Everything was nice besides sweating through the night. And the breakfast was not what we expected, the doughnuts were very stale and the coffee was not very good......EDIT.......original post was 2 stars, as we were packing up and before we checked out the manager called our room to offer condolences. Offered to give a 50% refund all without us asking. I am very glad they tried to make things right.
My crew and I stayed almost a week while doing a music festival in Bellevue. Staff was A+ Rooms were nice and clean. We will come back.
Very friendly and nice place to stay. I will definitely go back . We were also told about the Mexican restaurant out front so of course we had to go try it. It was deliciousThe room was very nice and comfortable, beds were soft and it was very clean
FORGET SANDUSKY - Stay here !!! -- After being in Resort management for over 20 years, I tend to hold all hotels to a higher standard - THIS PLACE WAS SPECTACULAR!!! - From the time I checked in I was met by the Manger and had an incredible Guest Service experience and excellent stay in general. Upon arrival, the lobby was clean, organized and professional. Exceeding my expectations by a long shot. The first impression from not only the Manager but from the entire staff was exceptional. - Waterpark no, but great service and clean, fresh rooms, YES! - - The staff answered all of my questions and assisted me in sending packages and went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my stay was great. -- The room, very good. - I checked for the normal and expected housekeeping issues, nope. Worn out bedding, nope. What I found was clean carpet, clean and well maintained bath and electronics that worked as expected. - I was happily amazed. - AND EXTRA BONUS - There is a fantastic Mexican restaurant within 50 feet from the lobby, you MUST GO THERE - Fantastic margaritas! There are plenty of pricey options in the area but do yourself a favor and save a lot and really enjoy a quality stay and make this property your home when in the area. - Rebooked a return with my family for later this month!
I havent been to this hotel in a long time, but apparently someone else was unless it was when I was nearby at the Casa Mexicana restaurant. The hotel itself is alright really its not too bad from my experience.
My kids and I had a really great stay. It well comfortably priced. All the employees we encountered were very friendly- one man told my children a bunch of silly kid jokes that they loved. I feel the need to stress this place was CLEAN. I also felt very safe, and my kids LOVED it too. May not have been the most modern but we just enjoyed ourselves. Pool was big and the hot tub was perfect . We swam in that pool for hours! Would totally recommend.
Very good experience! I was upgraded to a king size bed upon check-in, and the staff was very friendly. They allowed me an early check-in at no charge and gave my wife and I toothbrushes because we forgot ours. Clean rooms with mini fridge and safe, and microwave. Clean pool and spa. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.
We came from Kentucky to spend the weekend and I have to say it was one of our best hotel stays ever! We have a big family 5 kids so its usually very hard to find a great deal and a great place. Mr Peters ( the owner) was extremely helpful and very kind to our family needs. Not only did he give us a great rate for the weekend , he even gave us an adjoining room at no extra cost so that we could all sleep comfortably!!! Everything was clean and well maintained throughout. The pool was fantastic, the breakfast was perfect for the kids and the entire staff were extremely friendly. I really cant say enough about how great this place is and I will certainly be coming back to visit next time were in the area! Mr. Peters thank you again for your kind and genuine hospitality to my family!!!
Had to stay here last night due to my truck breaking down and I am glad this hotel is under new management, I stayed here last summer and now its like night and day. The rooms are so much better, and everything seems so much cleaner. The staff (especially the gentleman at the front desk) is really nice and welcoming. He explained how everything is changed for the better and sure was he right! Ill be back soon since cedar point is right down the street.
Breakfast sucked, pool didnt work, which is why we stayed here. We even asked when we made the reservations. Supposed to be pet friendly but there was no place to walk our dog ..
Chris (the GM) is amazing. Great person and very, very helpful. Pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Waiting to try their breakfast but I will definitely stay here in all my future visits to Bellevue and the surrounding areas. Rooms were clean too!
Thats a great place for the price and rooms are clean comfortable nice cold ACS television look good got lots of sports channels to watch so you got out there can never miss a game thats pretty nice man I like it and get hot water bottle really good night for the shower and everything is nice and clean and everything works perfect
Was nice enough. Owners were nice. Place was comfortable and clean.... is a double storey so was a bit noisy in The night with folks above. $100 for a room was a bit more than we were used to and a bit surprised by the continental brekky offered.... no milk... no cereal... no butter for the toast.... free ice was appreciated.
If youre staying around the area, youll definitely wanna check this place out. Rates are a great value for what you get. Clean room, no bugs, no worry of bugs, comfortable bed and the rest of what you likely expect. If I had to say something to improve it would be the wifi, which worked during my entire stay, but was a little spotty at times. Still, much better than other rooms Ive stayed in.And the customer service is excellent!!! You will feel welcome
We stayed during race weekend. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. We didnt get a chance to visit the pool, or check out the breakfast thats offered. But we slept well! Thank you
A blown tire on the turnpike made it necessary to stay overnight in the area. This motel was clean and comfortable with a fair price. The management allowed a late check-out as a new tire had to be shipped to Bellevue. Overall a very good experience. Nancy W.

My fiance and I spent the night at Bellevue Hotel and Suites this past weekend, it was our first stay and most definitely our last. I can understand things being out of date but when the baseboard heat in the hall is falling off and the carpet is all wrinkled and coming up its time to update. The Game Room consists of some old workout equipment from the 80s thats Covered in dirt and dust not to mention I had to use my flashlight app just to find my way down there because the lights were out. My bed had stains, toilet had pee all over the seat, trash on the floor,coffee maker had dead bugs all over it. No free WiFi as listed,no complementary breakfast as listed (Not that I would have actually ate it) I understand the hotel is under new management but at what point do you stop renting out rooms that havent been renovated? I had a lot of time to think seeing as I wasnt comfortable sleeping there. They are only hurting themselves by continuing to rent out rooms that havent been updated. If you offer a service make sure to have those services available. The only pleasant part of my stay was that the gentleman running the hotel was very nice and apologetic. This hotel needs a lot of work and I wont be returning.

Mr Chris peters provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. If we needed something he was happy to oblige. He made us feel welcomed. The price of the hotel was very affordable and the room was nice and comfortable. I wanted to take the bed and pillows home with us. When we come back to Ohio this will be our first choice. A hidden gem just few miles off the highway. Very homely feeling and very reasonably priced place.Had a warm feeling to the place even when I got here at midnight.Spacious rooms with classical feel.Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay in this region.Very friendly and accommodating front desk host.
The people here are great. Went to Bellevue for a wedding and we got a double room for 4 people. The man at the front desk saw that we had 4 people in one room, and gave us the adjoining room free of charge. All 4 people got their own bed to sleep in. Also very clean and rooms are nice for the price.
No frills hotel, has all the basics. Other reviewers mentioned that it needs to be updated but its clean and comfy. The style is from the 70s but everything works and is clean. Staff very friendly and personable, willing to help with accommodations. 4 differnt kinds of pillows on each bed so you can find the perfect fit for you. Beds are a little hard but overall the room was big and comfortable for the price. Hot tub was nice to relax in and indoors so you dont have to worry about the weather. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, it was a good place to stay for the price.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, Chris did a fantastic Job for correcting the problem I have in my room, staff came to me and did what they do best in making my room clean. Chris reassured me it wont happen again and he is very nice person (since day 1) and hands on with everything, I hope all people are like him who managed hotels to take action to every clients problem.
Very friendly front desk staff. Clean room, comfortable bed. You could tell it was a little bit of an older hotel but I was not disappointed with it at all! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
Great price. The rooms are clean and the staff was super nice! The pool was warm and my kids liked the color changing light! We visit town often to and will definitely return to this hotel!
Stayed here last night and was pleasantly surprised. An affordable price, clean room and very friendly gentleman at the front desk. I would definitely recommend staying here to my friends and will stay here again when in the area, perhaps Bike week.
I really enjoyed my night stay at this hotel. They even kept the pool open longer for my friends and I to use when we got back from Cedar Point!... Next time I make a trip out to Cedar Point Ill definitely be staying at this hotel again!
Clean, friendly place to stay!! My husband and I come for our anniversary spent the day at Cedar Point checked in late. Man was very nice even upgraded us to a better suite as a anniversary gift !!! Definitely recommend, we will be coming back !!!!
Theres a lot of negative reviews of this hotel. I disagree. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. Theres free bottled water. For a budget hotel i am quite pleased.
I was a decent hotel. We stayed in the party room where it was 4 rooms that were connected. Wss a cool factor for my large family gathering and helped us not disturb others. The bedding was kinda iffy. It was kinda dated and seemed not fresh. No bugs so thats good. Close to a few stores and the party room had a kitchen which was nice.
Booking confirmed with no problem. Took all of 5 minutes to check in. While the place is dated it was clean, smelled good and no bugs. The staff is friendly. We would recommend it. A bit pricey but probably coz its bike week.
Very nice hotel. Professional staff, spacious rooms, reasonable price for our short notice stay, indoor pool and hot tube, clean and kid friendly. Nearby food places that are advertised in the rooms were great tasting. Will stay again if in the area!
I was relocated there after a house fire. Dirty room. Washer dryer out of order. I was there 4 1/2 months by my homeowners insurance. NOT a pleasant stay. Have not returned.
So dirty! The wastebaskets in the room werent even emptied! you could see and feel the dirt on carpets, no fan in the bathroom, hallways smelled like it was saturated in deodorizer in an attempt to cover up the musty smell everywhere else.
Excellent service!!! I was very impressed by the management in this hotel. I got a upgraded room free of charge. Very clean hotel. It may be 30 minutes from Cedar Point but I will be staying there again! Highly recommended.
Friends bought us a room after our wedding the honeymoon suite although a little rough around the edges was pretty baller after a night of dancing and drinking. The manager Chris is a straight up g. Would recommend
I hope this message reaches you prior to booking a room at this hotel. My husband and I were heading to Cedar Point and this was the only hotel in the general area that was not sold out. We knew it wasnt the best but we took a chance. We stayed Friday night (with all our clothes on), got up and went to the park and after all day at the park, we decided to drive 3 hours home. I would of rather fallen asleep at the wheel than spend one more second in this hotel. If I could give this a no star rating, I would. The Mexican restaurant in their parking lot is delicious!
I did not like anything about it it was disgusting from the room to the pool. I had period stain on my sheet. The manager was very rude and the room was not worth the price. If you are ever in this early do NOT stay at this hotel the rooms look like they should be in Dollar Inn and the manager John is very rude to his customers. My brother stayed on the 1st floor and his toilet was stopped up and had holes in the comforter. The TV remotes dont work and the fridges neither. Mold underneath the sink and hair in the tub Im not making this up this is TRUE.....the hotel dont sell out bc ppl know its a dump. Me not being from here did not know that thats why I stayed there and it was the worse hotel experience Ive ever had. please do not stay there not give dem ppl a penny of your money
A stern backbone of everyday living for decent, hard working people,that can always be greeted with respect and love. Always quick to fill a need, or answer a question, for the guest. Very tidy and clean. All the management does a superb job, and deserves to be acknowledged.. I think of vacationing there, even tho I live just a few minutes away. If you can find time to get there, do so.Indefinitely a great place to kick back and relax. Also has the inside scooping what to do, and what is happening in vacationland.. A ten out of ten!
We had recently visited Sandusky area for family gathering. We decided to stay at Bellevue Hotel as the rate was reasonable and we had kids and dog with us. The kids really enjoyed the pool and we had time to hang out outside. There is a nice green area behind the hotel where we took our dog for a walk. The hotel manager was very accomodating and professional.We really recommend this hotel for a stay.
Good little motel, cozy beds nice attendants. Not the fanciest, but they offer smoking rooms!
I highly recommend this hotel. Rooms and hotel itself was/were very clean :) management and staff were very nice and helpful! We received a room upgrade upon checking in at no additional cost :) My husband and I will definitely be returning to this hotel.
Highly recommended. We go to the lakes 2 - 3 times a year as a family. And are stay here has always been positive. Better then the over rated places at the lakes..You will enjoy your stay. Front desk sees to it.

Very cordial and polite reception. Room was clean with all basic aminities available. A cozy indoor pool and hot tub took away journeys tiredness. Breakfast was complimentary and was ok. I will visit again.

Its a cute little hotel. The rooms, while sort of outdated, were super clean and homey. Our service was excellent, and Mr. Peters at the front desk was a joy. Super pleasant service, in a super pleasant area.

The hotel was really affordable and it was clean ..... Perhaps the other customers visited when there was different management..... As far as what I experienced with the staff and comfort it was a good deal.Also Conveniently located near the freeway and has a decent restaurant across the street .... Clearly I was hungry and tired of driving.I recommend this hotel for clean comfort at a bargain.
Great from pulling in, to leaving establishment staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely will recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in this vicinity. As for myself...the price, pool, and staff .. Ill definitely be back.
The hotel is okay not great. Was a tad overpriced considering everything. I found the beds to be very uncomfortable. I also thought some of the people hanging around the hotel was a little shady. Wouldnt stay again considering the price.
It was wonderful for the price. I checked on after midnight and desk staff was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very clean and I felt safe and comfortable here.
After calling and making reservation the lady called back 3 times for credit card info...Then after arrival charged a different rate, said he didnt know what to tell us. Being tired we took the room, well the hall light didnt work and neither did the key card. After finally getting into our room I checked it guess what BED BUGS. So my husband went to office they called the owner, he said that they had an issue before...But offered us rooms at no charge...Dont think so, not gonna stay if I seen BUGS......
Bellevue is a small town but I was impressed by all the amenities this hotel has with inside and outside pools. A small game room! Friendly manger that is on sight 24 hrs. Nice continental breakfast!
3:30 am. We got a room right away. Two beds. Front view window. That looks out to the Mexican restaurant in front. They provided two waters, a little basket of grain bars and fruit snacks. Coffee and cups. Cable and wifi available. A pool hall in the back building. 89 plus tax for one night. Seems a bit pricey. Even with the time we checked in. To have room call at noon. Very comfortable. As well as a resevior sitting behind the hotel. A good place to grasp a piece of mind .
The owner was awesome, very accommodating, not far from Cedar Point, well worth the rates. The employee were all very welcoming. I will be visiting again. Thank you for the five star service.
The hotel has been updated and the staff is so helpful and polite and will definitely be staying when I come back to cedar point. And its only 30 minutes from there!! The owner is awesome!!
Our room was not cleaned very well and the bed was just not comfortable. Way overpriced for what you get. The service was good though and the pool/hot tub was nice. The breakfast was severely lacking.
I had a great stay, the Manager did everything to make my stay a great one, lend me his iPod, and Phone charger. the room was comfortable and clean.

Nice little hotel on Bellevue. Its a cheap overnight stay I would recommend for family and friends of locals. If youre traveling through Id seek accommodations on a larger town like Sandusky just for competition and entertainment.
The recent remodeling has really made a huge improvement..Its very clean and the staff their are very friendly:) the maintenance man is very amazing, if you need anything fixed he comes very fast and gets the job done..
My opinion is if youre looking for a no tell motel this is the place for you but if youre looking for a respectable good value for your money I would not suggest this place we had to be moved to two rooms and one was no better than the other stains everywhere very uncourteous staff if you pay the $80 like we did a night to stay here you are required to take out your own trash they charge you $10 a day for each animal you have even though they say their pet friendly it just absolute absurd place behind the buildings are trash discarded mattresses and when we first got here because we are waiting to move into our new home we were told about discounts we would get in each time we went to pay we would not get the discount and basically told pay or get out you would figure that we paid over $1,400 already in a little over two weeks weve been here we had to even contact the mayor of Bellevue Ohio because we found out that we were being illegally charged $10 a day for each dog we had and because their medical dogs its against the law to be charged anything for them they charged us anyhow and the mayor is supposed to be doing an investigation on this motel for us would just absolutely gobsmacked by the lack of care and service for the money that we have paid we are leaving tomorrow and will never stay here ever again and again if you have children I would not suggest staying here place is kept very nasty when we got into our second room there was black mold all over our shower head all around our bathtub faucet we had to take bleach ourselves and clean it off I personally am going to take pictures and post them all the garbage around the place the very unclean rooms and Im going to also call the corporation office and filed a complaint because the amount we paid and the disrespect and the and the way that the motel is kept Im just floored that they have the audacity to ask the prices theyre asking a room for such a dirty place I do not recommend this place to anybody that works hard for their money I would suggest staying at the Red Roof Inn because for the same price you get a luxury room in the luxury motel with all the bells and whistles and for the money you spend here you get absolutely nothing but for the maid to tell you to take out your own trash totally unacceptable
Me and a friend stayed here not horribly far from cedar point rooms very nice and clean beds super comfortable all the staff very friendly and accommodating we will definitely be returning on our next trip to cedar point

Room was very OK. Bed was pretty hard and bathroom was small and not that nice. The complimentary breakfast shouldnt even be called breakfast. Not very appetizing.

Completely awful rooms were completely nasty and disgusting they are charged almost $100 a night $10 a night for each animal you bring but yet claimed a pet friendly stuff is completely rude and very disrespectful I caught them lying on several occasions there are many amenities are terrible black mold all over the shower all over the shower curtain the room stunk I had to be transferred to 3 different rooms and each room it put me in was worse than the next if you are looking for a no tell motel and youre a druggy I would suggest this is the motel for you but if youre respectful traveler that values your hard-earned money I would not invest it in this Motel very scary very dirty very unclean the pool was completely filthy not even up to temperature stuff floating all over the bottom and again the staff very inappropriate and they make you take out your own trash

DO NOT stay here the owner of the hotel is an absolute scam artist i am actually in the process of reporting him to the bbb i had to stay in the extended stay for 3 months and he ended up charging my insurance over 16000 ya thats right 16000 for the absolute crapest lil room he will also make it sound like hes this great guy trying to help u and ur family out but DO NOT trust him for a second he is a snake in the grass we also after about the 2nd month of staying here had some exterminators come in and they told us that part of the hotel had bedbugs and he had to have it all checked out then when my insurance finally decided they couldnt afford to pay this scan artist anymore i went to talk to him my self to see if he would offer me the original deal of 300 a week and o boy did he have some stories to tell me about that one he actually tried to tell me the electric alone for my room was 300 a week which everyone knows u pay by the month and then he tried telling me he originally offered the room to me for 350 a week but that he couldnt do this anymore either bc he was afraid i would tell my insurance that he gave me a lower rate and then they would make him pay it back so do to his greedy ways me and my pregnant gf and her daughter r homeless so PLEASE People do ur self a favor go to Sandusky or one of the other area hotels this guy will rob u blind
Rooms are large and empty. The beds and pillows are hard. Funny smells and dirty. Reception was clueless and the breakfast was sad. Never again.

Great spot, few miles off i90 only downside, great Mexican rest next to the motel, all rooms on main deck.

2022-06-05This place was really convenient, for a last minute Cedar Point trip! It was only 25 minutes from the park and coming back everyday felt good getting away from the crowds at Cedar Point. It was super quiet and the cleanliness, spacious rooms were great. The staff were really helpful and very nice. The amenities were everything we needed to get through the trip. Thank you for your hospitality! Save some stress and book this place.

2022-06-18Husband and I came here to get away. We had reservations elsewhere but found out their pool was closed and made reservations here last minute off of reviews. This hotel room was dirty, found long black hair on everything and my hair is red. After being in the room we met the people 2 doors down only to find they live in that room. How with kids? I don’t know. Room was quiet and pool was nice but cleanliness wasn’t a priority to them. We ended up leaving after 1 night ( no refund for second night). With the price of the room a night, I expected a lot more. Could have stayed at a different hotel for a lot less and got the same conditions.

2022-05-30I was very surprised by how clean it was. I really wish the hot tub was open, but we ended up having the whole pool to ourselves for a little bit. Guys at the front desk knew a lot about the area and places around it. Gave my mom breakfast. Just a super nice place overall.

2022-06-05Staff was very friendly. Location is off the main highway a bit and its not the 4 star hotels were use to but enjoyed the stay. When no other hotels in the area have rooms, and its nearly 1 am with 4 kids, the staff was more than accommodating. Going above and beyond to make us comfortable, although we only stayed for 5 hours. Dont judge a book by its cover. It is outdated but unique and privately owned.

2021-07-18I loved staying here!! The guy at the front desk was so helpful, nice and made the stay feel welcoming! The rooms were very clean, and cozy, the shampoo and conditioners they have for you are a very popular/expensive brand which surprised me. The price was amazing for what we got! Overall if I was back in town I would 100% stay there!! Also the Mexican restaurant in the parking lot is AMAZING!!!!!

2021-09-18We enjoyed our stay very much. The front desk was extremely helpful and showed great hospitality. Only issue was the bathroom was a little bit dirty but nothing extreme. Despite the bathroom, all was great. The pricing and room was great. Thank you!

2021-05-16The staff was nice and welcoming, however when we got to our room it was dusty everywhere, there was dried pee on the toilet seat and around the bottom of toilet. I had to scrub the tub myself and it turned the rags brown. It was just a mess.
