Been coming here for years, as well as my children and parents. Always accommodating and everyone there is so friendly and cheerful. Today, I had a senior moment and showed up exactly a week early for my appointment. They found a way to go ahead and take care of me. These are the nicest dentists Ive ever met. They didnt judge me for not keeping up on my dental care, and they were all understanding at my dentist anxieties. They gave me tips for how to take care of my teeth better, and Ive got appointments lined up to handle some cavities, and it was all so easy to set up. And they even have bird feeders outside every window, so I could zone out and watch the birds. I definitely recommend this dentist.
This place is amazing. I drive 30 mins each way because I refuse to see another dentist. Every single worker in this office is kind, friendly and so willing to care for you.
The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not only was my exam/cleaning great; but when I explained I had some insurance issues, they were extremely understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend this dental office.
I am utterly terrified of the dentist. Today I went for the first time in almost 6 years for a routine appointment and cleaning. I am no longer afraid of the dentist! Dr. Harmeyer and his entire staff are awesome (which I already know because my kids have gone there for about 9 years) but my hygienist Debbie was out of this world. She knew I was nervous and went above and beyond to help alleviate my fears. She explained everything she was doing and was so kind and personable. Im so thankful that I decided to be a patient there myself. And Ill be going back every 6 months, not every 6 years :)
Everyone at Bellbrook Family Dentistry is polite, personable, and professional: from Jenny and others at the desk to all the dental hygienists to Dr. Harmeyer. Ive been going here for several years and have never had a bad experience. Even through the craziness of C-19, the office has been pleasant. Precautions are taken so that there is absolutely no interaction with other patients, and cleanliness is obviously of the highest priority. I wholeheartedly recommend Bellbrook Family Dentistry to anyone who has teeth!
I started going to this practice because it was wheelchair accessible. However, my husband and I are so fortunate because Dr. Harmeyer is an amazing dentist.He does an excellent job problem solving dental needs as they occur, as well as taking into consideration my husband’s medical condition. The support staff, hygienists, and office staff are amazing, as well. So thankful to have found this practice.
Had a kid emergency , and even though we did not use this dentist office , the staff was fantastic in helping and was even able to help get an emergency appointment. Thanks for the help

Extremely friendly staff! From the secretaries, hygienists and dentist, everyone is very personable and takes time to answer all your questions, unlike many doctors offices where you feel rushed. The appointment reminder text messages are fantastic and I’ve never waited longer than 5 min to get into an exam room. I highly recommend this dentist!!

My husband has been going to see Dr. Harmeyer for over 20 years. I started going to the office 4 years ago and even have my orthodontia done there! Best staff you could ask for. And the dental hygienists are fantastic! I’ve been bringing my daughter with me to my monthly appointments since she was born and they are amazing at helping me out with her when she’s fussy. They are a true family environment. I’ve been through a few different dental offices over the years and this is where I will stay.
Everyone here is so friendly and kind. The office is clean and well taken care of. Ive had some scary, difficult experiences at other dentist offices in the area and as a child. I felt at ease and confident with Dr. Harmeyer and his staff.

Appointments are convenient to change if an unexpected conflict arises. Wait time is minimal and the best of any medical office Ive ever been to. Very thorough and professional!
I’ve been coming here for 5+ years and I can honestly say I always have a great experience and today’s visit was no exception! From routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, periodontal referrals, and Invisalign-they do it all! Dr. John Harmeyer along with His entire dental team are the BEST ever! My first visit was very thorough and I enjoyed all the staff. Dr. Harmeyer assessed the problem Ive been having and he explained exactly what needs to be done. When I left the office I had a quote in hand. I find their pricing for procedures to be very reasonable. Not having insurance, I checked around before making the appointment with them. It didnt hurt that I know a couple of their long-time patients and they highly recommended this practice.
Debbie, my hygienist for many years is a real professional. Today, Tonya helped Dr Harmeyer with impressions for a crown. Very good job. Dr. Harmeyer’s been my dentist for 19 years. He always brings his best. Keep up the great work.

Been coming here for years. No matter how far I move in Dayton, I don’t change dentist. They are so friendly and professional. Just had a filling done and got out in 30 minutes with no pain at all. Doctor Dinh is awesome!

My family is new to town and was referred to this office. I went in to have a broken tooth fixed. I do not numb like other people and asked the office to contact my previous office to get the information. I showed up for the appointment and they had not contacted the other office. I hopped on the phone to try to get it before they started drilling my tooth. Dr. Harmeyer informed we that we were not a good fit and I made him tense, and left the room. My other dentist office stated they were never contacted and no message was ever left. I just wanted him to have the information that would have kept me from being in pain while he fixed my tooth. This whole situation was handled unprofessionally by the dentist and his staff. They have had long waits in the 2 out of 3 times my family has been there, as well. If you want a sensitive and caring dentist and staff, look elsewhere.
After I broke a crown they worked me in quickly and were able to fix it. Very professional and thorough, the staff is friendly and helpful.
Dr. John Harmeyer is truly one of the kindest Man and an amazing dentist . He accommodated me on my busy schedule , his chair side manner is excellent . All the way down to the small details of a friendly staff, tinted sunglasses so the glare is not in your eyes, all the way to beautiful birdfeeders to give you a little piece if ever you have anxiety or pain with being in the chair. But he even goes a step further and making sure the client understands everything he’s doing and why he’s doing it, as well as the idea of how to work towards the future. And the Professionalism of him and his staff it’s just top-notch . What a positive great person he really is. Thank you to him and his wonderful staff ..

Ive been going to Dr. Harmeyer since I was a kid except when i lived in another state for a few years(and most of my family does, too). The office is clean and pretty, his staff is terrifically friendly and they do a great job at listening to concerns as well as cleaning teeth. Office visits start on time. Dr. Harmeyer is skilled and very laid back. I recommend to anyone.
I would say I love this place, but technically my DDS is drilling, filing, and cleaning my teeth, meaning, its not always a fun visit. However, I will say that my appointments always start on time, I can easily set up appointments, the staff are wonderful to converse with, I am thoroughly entertained while Im being worked on, and I always walk away feeling like I was taking care of in a wonderful manner, and that does make me love this place.
The staff are all very nice Ladies from the receptionist to the Dr.,I had a filling done that another dentist did a improper repair six months ago. And Dr. Dinh was very nice taking care of it for me, she explained everything she was doing and it took very little time.This is my new dentist office!
Great team, upgraded usual prevention measures to phone check-in, car waiting room - they get you; thermometer check and hand sanitizer before appointment; start with screening questionnaire, sanitized pens and clip boards, and then future appointments made by Dental Tech on her computer in same room as procedure. So no check out.Dental procedures were very tight after HIV was identified as a risk, so they just upgraded a bit, given the contagion rate of CoVid-19.
I have been coming to this office for 20 years now. I have lived in Bellbrook, Cincinnati, and two cities in West Virginia, and yet no matter where I am currently, I always come back to this Dentistry office. One of a kind staff all around the board who don‘t just do their job well, they do it with a kindness you cannot teach.
Best dental practice ever. The staff is friendly and the Dentists are wonderful with all the patients. Its a very relaxing atmosphere and welcoming to both established patients and first time patients. If you are looking for a new office, I would highly recommend this one.
Had my teeth cleaned by Debbie and i have to say it was the highlight of my year. The room lit up when she entered and warm smile made me feel comfortable. There was zero pain with my cleaning and my mouth has never been happier. This was hands down the best my teeth have felt in years. Highly recommend you see this extraordinary lady. Ill certainly be back for my next appointment.

They were very concerned and wanted to make sure I felt no pain during my procedure and were willing to stop if I needed a break or add more numbing medication. I am a mid 40s male and have had a horrible experience with dentists in my youth. Due to my bad experiences, have been scared and hate to admit that in my mid 40s it still effects my thinking about the dentist. Well, its time for me to grow up and deal with stuff. God made me do this by allowing one of my wisdom teeth to break. It was sharp and was turning my cheek into hamburger meat! I met Nicole, the assistant with 20+ years experience and she made me feel comfortable. And then, when Doctor Harmeyer came in to meet me, HE WAS FREAKING AWESOME! No pressure, No surprises, No condemnation. I totally loved my last experience at the dentist, and, I will be back for more.....to fix the abuse I have given to my teeth for way tooooo many years! Nice People!
I always enjoy coming to this office! They are always polite and professional. I get botox for migraines (dentists have extensive knowledge of the nerves and vasculature in the face) and I get the best results from Dr Harmeyer. I would definatally recommend him!
I just finished going through a long 10 months of extractions, bone grafts, implants, and finally a permanent crown attachments. Dr. Harmeyer sent me to a wonderful surgeon who did the first two steps and Dr. Harmeyer just finished the 10 month long ordeal by putting in the crowns. The first crowns that came back from the lab were not the right color to match my other teeth. Dr. Harmeyer did not hesitate to have them remade by the lab, and he told me, Well make them as many times as we need to until you are happy. Its good to have my smile back!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Harmeyer since he began his practice (looong time). Feels like family. The entire staff is very friendly - always asking about our sons (who have long moved out of town).
Its been about 4 years but my son had a couple baby teeth with the grown up teeth coming in behind them. It was decided that the baby teeth should be pulled. No pain mediation was given. My son had a playground accident in which his top two baby teeth were shoved back resulting in their traumatic removal at the ER. The dentist knew my son was already nervous because of that but failed to even attempt to calm him. When my son cried out Dr. Harmeyer yelled at him Stop! Youre scaring my other patients! The guy shouldnt be working with children. We left that day and never returned. We ended up going to Seva dental just about a block away. I love it there and my children do to.
This is a great practice focused on all individuals in the family. The staff and dental professionals are amazing and the office is run smoothly with great communication about appointments so you dont forget.

Dr. Harmeyer is the best! He was our family dentist when I was in high school and I continued to see him while in College. I moved down to Cincinnati after college and my insurance changed. I was so sad that I couldnt continue to go to Bellbrook family dentistry b/c thats exactly what it is, a family. Three years later my insurance changed and I came right back to Dr. Harmeyer. I make the 45 minute drive b/c It is worth it. Everyone is so nice, the place so clean, the staff efficient and caring and they work really hard to get you in on a day that works for you. I have had tooth emergencies and they have never let me go a day without fixing it. Dr. Harmeyers bonding work is beautiful. I love Bellbrook Family Practice!
Clean place. Very friendly and efficient staff. In and out in less than 45 min for a 6 month cleaning. Only downside is they are so efficient they come off a little unpersonalble some times.

2022-02-08I visited Bellbrook Family Dentistry as a new patient. I just happened to have a newly chipped tooth in need of repair. They worked me right in for a next day appointment, and repaired my tooth beautifully. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Will return for sure, highly recommend.

2022-04-11Family w 4 kids have been going to Bellbrook Family Dentist for about 8 years now and we love them. They are gentle, but thorough. Kids actually ask when they go back because the technicians and Dr Harmeyer are so thoughtful and care about them and their teeth. They listen to what you are saying and help solve dental problems. I highly recommend them!

2021-12-22Had a cleaning today and I have to say it was one of my most pleasant visits. The hygienist was gentle with the tools and very personable. The dentist came in and did his magic and left me with a more desirable bite. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a good family dentistry.
