I gave one star simply because the price for the amount of space is good, and they responded to maintenance requests promptly. Otherwise, my score would be zero. That being said, do not move here if you hope to have your rent history shared with any future apartments. They will not release payment history to any future leasing office and not even to you, the lease holder. They use this tactic to try to prevent people from leaving, and its very shady.Do not move here if you plan on having visitors from other states. My boyfriends car on his first visit someone went through his vehicle. Third visit someone stole two entire wheels off the car. They do nothing about loud and inconsiderate neighbors. They will charge you when you move out for issues with the apartment that existed when you moved in. They advertise on their fliers that they have a hot tub by the pool, but its been broken for years. They are disorganized at times, like I requested a garage, they said they would get back to me and then never did until I asked them about it months later. They had someone come to my apartment about bed bugs but I never requested pest control (but that should also be a red flag).I would never recommend this place ever unless you are severely desperate and out of options.
As a resident I have enjoyed:SAFE AND FRIENDLY COMMUNITY - Neighbors greet each other as they meet. Population seems to be a nice cross section of ages and reflective of any small town. I have acquired a confidence that my vehicle is safe from invasion and have noticed a mutual respect of property. Neighbors are careful and typically respectful.CONVENIENT - The community is near the end of an adequate and well maintained No Outlet public street. A significant intersection with a traffic light exists for safe entry / exit to the main thoroughfare. It appears the only traffic which enters the area is residential. A very large variety of shopping venues / restaurants exist within 2 to 10 miles in all directions.CLEAN - I have frequently witnessed staff tidying the grounds, parking lot, buildings, and even the public entrance street. (I see this behavior early in the day and I am impressed these employees take pride in their facility) Style and type of units are varied; however, there is a thematic brick exterior with regularly maintained grounds. Many sidewalks exist and provide an excellent walking community. A few ponds are tucked between units providing a variety of outdoor experiences. Many established shade trees exist enhancing the community. The units are at least a couple of decades old but appear very well maintained. Roofs and windows appear to be on a planned schedule for replacement. I have witnessed many units receiving appliance, carpet, and painting updates. Considering how clean my apartment interior was received, I am well impressed the property owner is striving to provide clean, quality units. Residents appear to take pride in their environment.VALUE - Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, volleyball area, and tennis court. The aforementioned sidewalks enable residents to walk the community, which I witness regularly. The only utilities I am responsible for are electric and cable. Heating and cooling are extremely affordable. The rent structure appears to be a great value in the market. I am aware of the availability of many floor plans. I am extremely happy with the size of my apartment. Overall, I personally do not feel I could find any better value for the level of comfort and service i receive. For a budget - conscious individual, it is the perfect balance!MAINTENANCE - Being a tenured maintenance employee by a nationally significant company, I speak with experience. This is absolutely one of the best maintenance crews I have encountered. Skilled and effective, they have consistently and quickly addressed any issues I have experienced. As a record keeper, I also enjoy having a paper copy of the accomplished work orders. I have upmost confidence that any future concern will be addressed timely and effectively to my satisfaction.OFFICE STAFF - Very pleasant, and eager to help with any concerns or business affairs.SUMMATION- I can not believe my good fortune. Fits my budget and provides a secure, comfortable home to relax. I endorse the business model by which this complex operates!
This Apartment complex has the worst communication ever. You have to call repeatedly and nothing still comes of it. I was told the property manager would be calling me back I have been waiting waiting almost a month not to mention again Ive called. Then the person I was working with didnt know the answers to any questions I had. This has just been a horrible experience.
Lets see.... Where do I begin? I walked into this apartment complex. This place was absolutely beautiful and very quiet too which made me happy. The leasing office ladies were very nice as well. What happened when I went in there was a few things. I went in there with positive thoughts, I thought this would be perfect for me and my girlfriend to start a family and settle down. But it seems this apartment has no problems crushing your dreams if you think about it. I did a tour, sat down and spoke of prices and all. Me and my girlfriend decided to go in and fill an application out, we had the money order and all. We finished filling out our applications and we were almost done. The lady asked us how old we were and I told her I was 20. She knew I was because she had said something to me earlier in the day when I arrived to fill an application out. She proceeded to give us sour faces and tell us we needed a co-signer AFTER we filled the applications out. I took my money back and walked out of there. I felt pretty defeated but not entirely. I know there are more options out there, but be prepared to have them tell you that you need a cosigner for your apartment even if they wait until the last minute. Their wait list from now is going all the way until February.
The worst decision I made . Management is horrible don’t fall for it . Between the exuberant fees and the loud menacing neighbor that I complained about for months, many nights restless because of the level of noise at all hours . No peace of mind what’s so ever since I’ve been here I probably won’t renew my lease . I’ve also seen other reviews on other sites of bug issues ,
The manager Patsy is so... rude. She hangs up on me many times.while leaving the apartment we cleaned as much as possible. she charged us for nothing, and when we complained she sent us some pictures that dont show anything wrong. when we left the apartment we were sure that the apartment looks perfect, But they always find a way to impose extra fees on their residents. We wish we could see all the negative reviews about the manager before we moved there. Here’s some pictures that she sent us
I just got to know the apartment. and I just loved Maddyes service. She was sweet and kind. and all the time showed positivity, even though my English was so limited. She told me she has a lot of people on the waiting list, but she still answered me as if she already had a fit available tomorrow. thank you Maddy, besides you are very polite and sweet. the place Ive been is clean and seems to be taken care of.
Bel Air Court is a great place to live. The office and maintenance staff are courteous and helpful. The apartments are located just inside the Outer-belt which makes computing easy. The city bus line is within walking distance. The pool and community rooms are are also A plus. There is lots of area to walk and ride a bike. There are green areas for children to play. The patios are nice spaces to garden and relax.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Im about to move out after 11 hellish months, heres my experience..1) I was moving from out of state, had previously checked out the place and talked about an eleven month lease. I go to the office with my u-haul ready to sign my lease and unpack and they put a 13 month lease in front of me. I call this out, the woman acts angry and tells me the stupidest cover up story ever. She tried to con me into a longer lease.2) The intrusion alarms are horrible, they didnt know my entrance code or how to operate the system, every time I opened my back door or window the thing went off and didnt stop. 2 weeks I went through this.3) MOUSE/ANT problems. I had ants, told the office, they did nothing. I had (and still have) mice. Told the office, they told me itd be a week before they got to it which is completely unacceptable. I threatened to put my rent into escrow and THEN they came out with poison (which did nothing, like I said I still have mice). Mice are all over the complex, my neighbors have them too.4) The roads within the complex are in shambles. There are dips everywhere that you have to watch out for or you will bottom out your car. The speed bumps are that awkward skinny and tall kind that make you feel like you just hit a curb.Basically the place itself looks nice, thats why I moved in. After that, the office staff are rude and unorganized. The maintenance team sucks. The geese are bigger jerks than the office staff. We have such a nice lake around here yet we cant walk around because the geese will charge everyone.
Its an alright place to live. Price might be a little high for the area. A 1-year lease cost me around $680/month for a 1-bed & 1-bath apartmentThe complex is located right between a 270 ramp and Whitehall. I wasnt able to sleep that well during my first few nights because of the cars whizzing on 270 so keep that in mind if youre planning on staying thereIve never had any problems with the staff working in the office or the janitors. The janitors were very prompt in responding to my units mishapsI lived there for two and a half years and never really encountered anything overly bad aside from the one time where a tenant had gotten robbed & shot at along with the handful of times where I came across used condoms in one of the parking garages
I lived in bel air court for 3 years.First, Maintenace department is not good.Secondly, geese’s don’t make u sleep. Also they rip u off when u are leaving, and you can’t get your security deposit.Last they don’t make no place for kids to play. Second but not least, they invade you privacy. No place for guest to park there car. Third but not least, do not move their find a other place to go.
We lived here for more than a year and moved out of state last year 2018 April my husband paid the last amount we owed which was additional pay on our month-month. He dropped it in the drop box where we had use innumerable times to pay rent. The money order was stolen by one of their staff because nobody broke the Dropbox and when you drop the mail it goes into the office. We didn’t know that was the case only found out later they didn’t receive payment and they didn’t have a Camera inside the office to show who picked it up, they charged the amount us by not refunding all of our deposit. Our lease stipulated we could pay rent via Dropbox which we had done many many time so by law it’s the landlords fault that the money was missing It’s been a year and western union is yet to do anything about it and the landlord has refused to do anything about it either.
I moved in to this place two weeks ago. It was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. It is so roomy...great bathrooms... beautiful view...office staff are very friendly... maintenance is 24 hrs...I will recommend this place highly for any one looking for affordable luxury.
Pathetic service. You need to complain 10 times to get an issue looked after. I had so many issues in my apt and they havent yet resolved half of them after 3 months. The staff are rude and unprofessional. On top of that I have got the news from a few fellow residents that the maintenance people are involved in theft in a few apartments.I wish they improve the service and behave well with tenants.
I wasn’t pleased with the bugs in the summer time. I didn’t enjoy my loud neighbors, always arguing. (Walls are thin). I could hear people playing music and arguing as well. But every time something stopped working, the management team tasked the maintenance men to fix it, so that’s a plus. AC didn’t work that well in the summer and my refrigerator leaked often. Lastly, the insulation is terrible, my power bill through AEP was always ridiculously high, especially in the winter! If you’re used to updated appliances and top of the line accommodations, then this is not the place for you. But if this is just somewhere to lay your head at night then you’ll be satisfied.
The unprofessionalism and lack of structure of the application process paired with the lackadaisical attitude of the particular staff members tI had the pleasure of working with at the time turned me away from this property. After tons of back and forth with Bel Air Court Apartments associates, I opted for a different complex, and I kid you not, that was a great decision! I spent a small portion of the month of September and the entirety of the month of October trying to track down the refund of the deposit I made during the application process. As many of you know, the application fee is non-refundable but the deposit is as long as you were not assigned a unit before you decided to stop the application process. That said, I started the application process late June and by early July, I paid the $45 application fee and the $50 deposit to get on the wait-list. I quickly learned that Bel Air Court Apartments wasnt the property for me and stopped the application process well in advance of them finding a unit for me, especially since I was wait listed. Nonetheless, I was advised Id be given a refund for the deposit for which I provided the address it needed to be sent to and was given a 30 day time frame in which I should receive the check.Fast forward, its now November 1st, months after I was given a 30 day time frame and still no refund. Ive initiated contact with this property more times than I would like, and every time I call, theyre researching the issue. Initially, the receptionist tried to tell me that refunds arent given if you stop the application process and after a long phone call of explaining, she finally got on board. When I asked her to verify what address they sent it to, I was told that they no longer had my file as they had given it to corporate and would follow up with me shortly. They never gave me a call back nor emailed me--this was late September and Ive called them at least 6 times since. Every single time I call, Im told that someone will follow up with me by the end of the day, yet no one does. This morning when I called, I was asked if I knew the date I gave them the money order and I was a bit taken back by it because you would think a company would keep track of the money they receive and process from current and prospective tenants. When I voiced my concerns with that, the receptionist didnt necessarily take it well and told me she had nothing else to say about the matter, that corporate is in charge of various properties and that once corporate figures it out they will be in touch. At this point, its not even about the money for me its the principle. Obviously I gave them an ample amount time to send out the check initially and extended another generous block of time to allow them to research the issue and follow up. I wouldnt be surprised if they tried to finesse this and make excuses to keep me from getting my money.Save yourself the hassle, look elsewhere first! Though every complex has its respective issues, this level of disorganization and lack of initiative should never be okay.
We have been waiting for almost 2 weeks to move into our new apartment. Everytime we call into the office they keep moving our move in date. First we were supposed to move in April 24th, then it changed to the 6th of May, now its the 11th of may because they supposedly found more issues with the apartment. The level of unorganized is sad.
Wish I would give zero stars . If you want one of their maintaince men to look through your belongings and take your things this then is the place for you . Hopefully you have a home camera like I did to catch them . I tried to resolve the matter and ask for one month free rent ! But patsy the manager ignored me after she said she was going to take care of things . I submitted a maintaince request for a sink that wouldn’t drain and I waited over a month and over 4 emails to get them to fix it and when they did the maintaince man stole my stuff on camera. I had a standing water in my tub for months and had to fix it myself . Taking the to small claims tomorrow . They messed with the wrong guy . They are rude and unprofessional . DONT move here and ask if their maintaince men steal !
False advertisement about the hot tub that have not worked since 2006. There’s nowhere for children to play ( NO PLAYGROUND AT ALL!!!!) where it should be two playgrounds one in the front near the office and one somewhere in the middle of the complex so families don’t always have to travel to the front of the complex.only a volleyball net so where kids just rip around the neighborhood trying to find something to do. Your car will get broken into because there are homeless people live underneath the bridge near the big white dome used to be for golfing or stolen. The maintenance guys are Uneducated don’t know what they are doing besides one older guy name Jesus. Office staff especially the property manager( PATSY) are rude with her and annoying voice Saying that she will handled the situation in a timely matter that she dont whenever the seasons change my air conditioner or my heat will go out. The attic crawlspace in the Celine has silverfish crawling out of it. The plumbing get back up so often where your apartment becomes flooded carpet will have a horrible!!!smell for DAYS. But just let me sum it all up they don’t take care of their tenant just want to receiving a payment or trying to make you pay for their overprice Venetian blinds their price is $25 where you can go to target or Walmart and pay $7. Don’t do it reconsider on living there
I lived in these apartments 260 Santa Rosa dr. for over 2 years. I recently decided to move because I need more space for my newborn. its overpriced for a small 1bdrm anyways. Now, starting from the day i moved in (November 2013) my stove did not work and it was not plugged in, so I decided to plug it in myself and of course almost electrocuted myself and the power went off. I had no heat the first few nights so that was fun (sarcasm).I also had Mexican neighbors (who were nice and kept to themselves) but they made food that smelled SOOOOOO foul and disgusting and the smell was in the hallway almost everyday and night. The smell got through the vents and Into my apartment and there was nothing to do to mask the smell. Sometimes I would just leave and go to a friends house to get away from it. That lasted the entire first year. The office said it was not an issue they could resolve. (Ok, whatever, Ill deal with it. They moved later)My bathroom was never finished. The floor tiles looked as if they took some glue and literally threw down broken tile and called it a bathroom floor. I cant begin to tell you how many times Ive scrapped my feet on the tile floor. They fixed it after almost a year. But it still looked like crap.At one point my air/heat did not work and come to find out my thermostat crosswired with my neighbors. it was beyond blazing hot outside. They gave me a window fan that didnt do much but make it sound like we lived in a cheap motel. It took them over 2.5 to 3 months to fix it (Mind you I was pregnant at the time so i was miserable).Bugs were not a huge issue however in the summertime there would be wasps/bees all outside of my back patio because they had a hive above the apartment where the gutters are. The entire 2 years Ive lived there no one has ever checked or done anything about the wasp issue. The Ducks were no big issue and people fed them bread but they were never an extreme issue in my area.MOVING OUT:BEL AIR COURT WILL NOT RELEASE RENTAL HISTORY OR PROVIDE YOU WITH PAYMENT RECEIPTS.!!!!!!!!!I was trying to get my rental history to move to a new place across town, and Bel Air Court said they are unwilling to release any rental history/verification and that I could call corporate but they would tell me the same thing. These people are very shady. I always paid my rent early or on time, Ive never bothered the office at all, unless it was serious, yet it seems as if they go out of their way to make your living situation miserable.THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.!!!! BEL AIR COURT APARTMENTS ARE CROOKED THEIVES.!!!!My deposit was $661, before I moved out I made sure the apartment was in as good clean condition as it could be (minor holes due to tv being mounted on the walls, the office said thats just normal wear and tear) I get this letter in the mail stating that they only gave me back $206.07. WHAT THE HECK.!! They took away practically all of my money because the stove tops were dirty (not stained or damaged but dirty) they charged me for dirty carpets, countertops, walls, and everything that was in the kitchen. Which of Im not mistaken, is NORMAL wear and tear. Not to mention when you do move out they treat you so rudely as if you were the one who did them wrong.I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff could be better. I did my best to make sure the place was going to be easy to fix up for a new resident and they waxed me on my deposit. Im going to get a lawyer to look over somethings and sue them. I have pictures as well and a video of before and after.DO NOT MOVE HEREDO NOT MOVE HEREDO NOT MOVE HEREDO NOT MOVE HERE
Apartment flooded from the apartment above.. twice.. Bathroom leaked fairly consistently from the ceiling and water would pool behind the paint. I would take pictures month after month and show the leasing agents when going in to pay rent and nothing was really done. Requested to switch units after the second time the apartment was flooded and they would not switch me.
The employees and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I am a wheelchair user and while they do not have ADA units, they were very open to adding ramps and making the location physically inclusive. Unfortunately someone reserved the unit I was looking at before me but I will hopefully get the opportunity to live here next year :)
These people are scammers. My friend rents an apartment here and they said they lost the money order with which she paid her rent. In addition the apartment has exposed wiring in the kitchen and a leaking bathroom sink that the landlord refuses to fix. Not recommended.
Worst apartment ever maintenance comes in unannounced... The manager Patsy is horrily rude... She hangs up on people for her mistakes... Im still waiting on a call back from sexton properties... Are all sexton properties ran this unprofessional and poorly? I had members of staff come into my residence without my knowledge on 4-20-17... My girlfriend just happened to be in the house in her underwear at the time... Now the Maintance man ever time he sees her stares at her... When I called to complain and talk to the manager Patsy... She wasnt in... But instead having her or home office call me back... I received a letter on my door step to vacate the next day... Ive been in this community for three years... And my daughter and i were actively involved in the parties the clubhouse has thrown... In fact we were at the last easter egg hunt... But I think its ironic l never received the letter of them supposedly coming into change the air filter on 4-20... In the last couple of months prior they taking money without my knowledge as I had a credit on my account... And now that Im moving stuff... Im finding random bedbugs... The whole staff in the office needs changed.
The office people need to improve their behavior. They don’t respect their customers. Maintenance people are the worst ever. I hate this place, I can’t wait to get the hell out of that place . Horrible Customer service . They don’t listen at all . They don’t take work order. Worst place ever. They treat the residents like slaves. All of them should be fired and change new people. All of them are liars.
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!! THE WORST IN OFFICE STAFF THEY ARE ALL EXTREMELY RUDE AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS WHAT SO EVER. WILL TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY WITH NO REAL REASON AS TO WHY THEY CANT REFUND YOU. CALL CORPORATE AND NO ONE IS EVER THERE. THIS IS THE DIRTIEST, MOST GRIMY COMPANY I HAVE EVER DONE ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH. AGAIN DOOOOO NOTTTTT LIVEEEE HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT COMPLETELY !!!

2022-03-24I have Lived here for over a year now . first the rent is actually way higher than advertised. secondly most buildings have bug problems, all summer last year my unit did not have AC a window unit was put in its place this caused my electric bill to skyrocket. most appliances had to be replaced after moving in due to not working properly. ive had a very friendly relationship with the office staff. and the area is nice when there isnt a biker rally or people sleeping infront of your door.

2022-01-12My son and I moved into Bel Air Court last October, after lack of follow through between staff, some items on our move in check list wasIgnored. After finally bringing these issues to the manager attention and the maintenance supervisor was confronted about issues, finally yesterday a maintenance technician that has only been here a few months, his name is Lemans, fixed the issue that I was told my supervisor could not be fixed. Lemans knocked the issues out of the park, (waiting for a new bathroom vanity). Lemans wad conscientious, polite, and very thorough on installing our new ceiling fan, fix issues under sink that I was told could not be fixed. Any one who lives here and needs maintenance, ask for Lemans. I give him a grade of 10000%

2021-10-27We withdrew our application from this apartment after MONTHS of lack of communication and empty promises. We were also promised our deposit back, but when my boyfriend went into the office to withdraw the application, we were told the person who said that was “no longer with the company” and they would not be providing a refund. When pressed, they stated “it says on the paperwork you will not be refunded once an apartment is promised” …though they had no proof of alleged apartment that was “promised.” It’s less about the money, but I HATED the way we were treated. The staff, including the corporate representative I spoke with, was incredibly rude, and belittled us at every turn. I’m sure it’s a lovely property, but not worth the baggage.

2021-02-24Our company has had a Corporate Apartment at Bel Air Court Apartments from 2010 through 2021. This has been a great experience for all of our employees who utilized the services, amenities and facilities throughout this time. The Staff has always been extremely helpful, especially every member of the maintenance department which were always willing and able to resolve every issue in a timely manner. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a quiet, pleasant and well maintained property to consider Bel Air Court Apartments.

2021-06-28Belair Apartments is a fantastic place to live.We lived in Belair for 14 years. We just love the place. The only reason we moved out is because of Columbus schools. If not for that we would have stayed back.I looked at many apartments in that area, no apartment come close to the comfort, amenities that Belair offers.Pros of staying in Belair:1) Maintenance. It’s the best in the area. You have 24*7 support for critical ones. Most of the non-critical ones are taken care on the same day, if not the next day.2) Close to freeway. This is the probably the best luxury you can ask off.3) Close to Airport: If you travel a bit, it’s a no brainer to stay in Belair. .4) Unlike other apartment, Belair also gives all appliances from Microwave to Washer/Dryer. Other places do not offer this and you need to buy/rent.5) Staff: Manager Patsy and team are very responsive, whenever I tried to reach them for any queries.6) Good and beautiful Community and kept clean.Cons of Belair:1) Schools. Belair comes under Columbus schools. It’s not that good.Tip: In my case, we took our kid to Reyonldsburg schools as they offer open enrollment. My kid studied in a STEM school school there, which is a blessing in disguise. Only issue with Reyonldsburg schools is they don’t provide transport to other school dist students. Hence we need to make our own arrangements for drop/pickup.2) Lease breakage is little complicated compared to other places places.

2020-05-06I am one of the current resident staying here for 2 years. To be frank the property feels good unless you do not have any queries to the management. I even thought of leaving 5 star review a while back. But if you have any maintenance questions/ concerns you need to call them several times and funny thing is every time you call them, you ll be treated like the first time. Its normal to think that when I am paying my rent right on time, I expect the same response from them as well. If the management could work on the commutation with their residents better i can say this place is worth the penny.
