Within hours of my call, Chris came to our home for a free inspection and thoroughly examined all of our bedrooms for bedbugs. He did not find any and suggested that I call a canine scent detection team for a follow-up inspection just to confirm. I took his suggestion and the bedbug dog didnt find any either. I appreciated his promptness, insight, honesty, and time in educating me all about these little critters. Thanks again!
Very professional, very detailed and explained everything perfectly and clearly. They explained the whole process so easily and were eager and able to answer any and all questions we had. They were also very responsive and quick. We called on a Saturday and by that following Tuesday evening we were bed bug free! If I could give 10 stars, I would. I cannot recommend Bed Bug BBQ enough! They are awesome!
After calling at 10pm the night before, Chris, the owner, came out to my apartment at 12pm the next day. He did a thorough, extremely professional inspection and although we personally found three bed bugs on our wall (?), he did not find any evidence of an infestation. Instead of trying to sell us his services, he recommended a thorough vacuuming of the apartment, and told us that if we ever needed anything (even to rent his equipment) that he was just a phone call away. I had a phenomenal experience with Chris and his (FREE??) inspection, and if my bed bug issue escalates, I will definitely be using his services again.
Many homes in my family were infested with BedBugs. Danny was absolutely fantastic with everyone. And he happily found time to inspect all of the homes in our extended family, since we all spent a lot of time with my elderly grandmother, who was the first to have them. Heat is the ONLY way to go. Chemical treatment failed my grandmother and is why they spread to other homes in our family. Danny was extremely thorough and made sure he was the one to do my grandmothers home, since she had met him during inspection and felt comfortable with him. This company did a fantastic job. We are 30 days post treatment and no sign of reinfection. This company can be trusted. A lesser company would have told the other family members they had bedbugs and we would have believed them. Dont go anywhere else. This company is the best!!!
I have to start by saying my initial contact with Vicky at Bed Bug BBQwas a relief. They normally dont deal with clothing moths. She passed my info on to the owner Chris who promptly called me back to see if they could help me. He is an out of the box thinker and set up a plan to eradicate the moths from my house. We set up an appointment and WOW they were not only on time but early. They moved furniture and rugs to the garage and back where we were heat treating everything. The service they promised was beyond my expectations! In the exterminating business where service providers are sometimes considered questionable, Bed Bug BBQ should be the poster child for honesty and results. This is the second time Ive used Bed Bug BBQ to treat my home. The first was in 2017 and I had had surgery at Euclid General Hospital, came home and laid in bed for a week and within 2 weeks, had bed bugs living with me. I spent $700 to $800 dollars on over the counter products and waisted my money on all those products. Bed Bug BBQ came out and explained the process using heat treat to get rid of my hitchhikers that had followed me home, a 1 day event and I was bed bug free for 3.5 yrs. My youngest daughter works at Hillcrest and lives downtown but occasionally stays at my home and she brought home a hitchhiker with her - this time the system was simple, I called Chris and he had Danny and Ronnie out at my house to BBQ the little unwanted pests. I had interviewed several companies the first time I had bed bugs and I wouldnt use anyone else in the North East Ohio area.....everyone is great to work with, they are professional and know what they are doing to solve your problem the first time.
I called to have my apartment inspected for a very mild bed bug problem. I said that I couldn’t afford the heat treatment so they suggested an alternative option that could effectively meet my need for the pest problem while accommodating my financial situation. He told me he didn’t see but one sign of evidence of the pest which he didn’t feel was enough to charge me the hefty price yet and he didn’t want to charge if there wasn’t a problem yet which I am more than appreciative of. I am definitely going to call them back if the problem persists.
Chris and his team are truly the nicest people. Having bed bugs is an awful experience so its important to work with kind and honest people who help you through it. They have gone above and beyond to help me through a complicated apartment building situation, including performing a successful heat treatment and doing multiple follow up checks/preventative measures due to bed bugs being present in other units in my building. They have been the bright spot in a negative situation, protecting my apartment and belongings, answering all my questions, and providing advice about how to move forward. I cant recommend them highly enough, dont choose anyone else it wont be worth it!!
I called on Monday night and Chris came out for a free inspection Tuesday when I was home from work. Chris did a very thorough inspection and answered any questions that I had. He did not try to sell me services that I didn’t need, in fact he said that even if I wanted to pay for a heat treatment just to put my mind at ease, that he wouldn’t because I truly didn’t have a bed bug issue. Very honest business, thanks again!
When we found the Critters in our New home, our stress level went through the roof. The first thing we tried was a spray bomb. we set it off, and when we came back 3 hours later, we could hear the critters sitting there, Laughing. Ok, got on line, and tried to find an exterminator. The first call we made was to a nationally know name. Their first response, We will have someone call you back. We waited till the next day, and No call. We started looking through a number of listings. Some companies didnt do Bed Bugs. Some companies were not local to us. Then we found Bed Bug BBQ. Their response was immediate. It was late in the day, but they had no problem making the 30+ mile drive to meet with us, and survey our problem.I had reviewed their service, and they were listed Very high.The cost of the service was High, but in line with other services I had read about, and they did not hesitate to work with our situation, and time frame. They explained What, and how the service entailed. They were here on time, and were very professional at what they did. Their service Did leave a lot of clean up to be done. Not because of sloppy workmanship, but because our situation of unpacking moving boxes and the like.I have inspected and reinspected the area, and have found no signs of our uninvited pests.I am sure if there is a future problem, BBB will be there in a flash. If we ever need this kind of service for a New situation, they will be the Only company I will consider. Thanks Chris
My husband and I were extremely impressed with Chris and his team! After finding what we thought might be a bed bug, I called BB BBQ to ask if they would come out and help us identify the bug. When I spoke with Vicky and Karen on the phone, they were both so understanding and willing to help me. Chris even stopped by our house for a quick inspection as 8 pm to help identify the bug. The next morning, after further investigation, he determined it was a beetle. We were so impressed with Chris’s knowledge, expertise, and honesty. It’s clear that he is just trying to help people have peace of mind when they sleep at night. He could have told us that it was a bed bug and had us spend thousands of dollars on a treatment we didn’t need, but he was helpful and sincere. I will be recommending this company to anyone who thinks they may have an issue!
We were concerned that we might have brought back bed bugs from a trip, with 2 small kids we didn’t want to take a chance. I contacted Bed Bug BBQ for an inspection - the front office was quick to get me in contact with Dan and also provide an estimate and details on the process. Dan followed up within minutes and worked with my schedule to come out that same day. He is also a very friendly and personable guy. He came by, inspected my home and could not find any evidence of the critters but did give us great info and a better understanding of their process.If we had them, I would definitely want to work with this company.
First of all, Chris really put my concerns to rest regarding my situation. He was extremely professional, thorough, and detailed. He explained everything he was doing and the science behind the heat. I definitely recommend his company because of the commitment in getting the job done.
I had a young gentleman come out by the name of Dan Marlowe, he was punctual, and very professional! He did an inspection for possible bed bugs and was so awesome from the time he entered my home until he left! He answered every question politely and was so knowledgeable about his background! I have been freaking out since Saturday and he eased my mind tremendously! He was so kind to my children, he answered every question and I would highly recommend him and this company!!!

I called on Christmas Eve night and was surprised when a person actually answered the phone as opposed to a voicemail picking up! The woman on the phone was polite and let me know she would have someone call me as soon as she could to set up an inspection. Chris called me back shortly after and let me know he could come out at 9am on 12/26. He was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. After searching the room where the bites were occuring, he let me know he didnt see any sign of an infestation. He also let me know what my next steps could be if the bites continue and said he would come back out any time to do another free inspection. The relief and peace of mind were such a great Christmas gift! I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who suspects they may have bed bugs.
A technician arrived to exam my home for bed bugs. Prior to his arrival I had discussed heat treatment and obtained a quote of $2,000 after examining my home he determined there were no bed bugs present. We discussed other options to detect the bugs such as the Tk9 service however he advised me that at this point he did not feel that service was advisable .
Chris was amazing! I had woken up with a few bites, and I thought they may be from bed bugs. He came to inspect our home very quickly and determined there weren’t any little critters to be worried about. It really gave me peace of mind. I was also extremely grateful that he didn’t just try to sell me on the removal process when I didn’t need it! Would 100% recommend!

Fantastic response time and super helpful in navigating a stressful situation! 5 stars and more for honesty & integrity in not selling us services we didnt need - it was a different bug! Called in the morning about a bug scare and received a call back immediately, received helpful emails, and a home inspection by noon the same day! Fortunately it was a false alarm, but Chris was great at guiding us through his inspection and educating us on what to look out for. Unbelievably, after conducting a thorough same day inspection, there was no charge.
I had sent Bed Bug BBQ an email on Sunday night when I found what I suspected to be a bed bug. They called me Monday morning and confirmed the photo I had sent was a bed bug. Chris came out to inspect my house. He was very thorough, friendly, and informative. After searching all of the house, Chris didnt find any other signs of an infestation. He explained the possibilities of finding only one and that possibly a friend or family member brought it with them recently(had a full house 2 weeks ago). Even though he came out for free(who does that anymore!), he still took his time to explain things to me, even after he knew I wasnt going to need his services. I hope I never have a need to get rid of bed bugs, but if I do, I know who I will call. I would highly recommend this company!

They came in inspected my home and realized there were no bed bugs. They did not even charge me a service charge and answered all of my questions. I called Chris after coming in contact with someone who had bedbugs and I was bitten pretty bad. I was worried they brought them to my house because I was pretty sure I found one at my home. I made an appointment with Chris for the very next day and he arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He drove close to 1 hr to my home and did NOT even charge me to inspect my home. I even offered him money for the inspection since I knew he drove far and he did not take it. I am very thankful he didnt find anything. I had good reasons to think I had them and he could surely see the god awful amount of bites I had. He could have used my fears and obvious paranoia and have easily charged me for a problem I did not have. He did not do this. Very honest and professional even spent time showing me pics so I would know what to look for. I did not need his services but would recommend him to anyone who wants someone honest to inspect their home. I imagine many others out there take advantage of innocent fearful people who would be vulnerable to treating a problem they didnt even have. Chris and the staff at Bed Bug BBQ gave us our home back after a traumatic experience. Chris inspected our home the same day we contacted him and was very thorough. Chris and his staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Karl and Dan did a great job treating our home and I would recommend Bed Bug BBQ to anybody.
I can not thank this company enough!! I have a small toddler and I was freaking out after finding a few in our home. Chris came out the next morning and within 5days we have treated our home. I was super embarrassed and just didn’t feel comfortable with having a company come into my home to get ride of them. It was nice that none of the Vehicles or equipment said anything about bed bugs, just made the process easier to handle mentally. The crew that came out to the house was super nice and very informative of the process.!!
Living in an old, Lakewood apartment during a pandemic, we quickly went into panic mode about a potential bedbug scare. The next day, Chris was able to come in and do a free inspection, giving us peace of mind in a matter of minutes that we were 100% bed bug free. As you can imagine, he made our day! Given his success rate, we learned that Chris is a previous landlord who had dealt with the nightmare of bedbugs and outside extermination companies - over time he was able to find this successful heat method and has been helping out locals/the greater Cleveland region ever since.
I have been dealing with bed bugs in my new apartment for the last 3 months with no luck at all. Chris, Karen and everyone at Bed Bug BBQ were super responsive and helpful. I rented equipment this weekend to heat treat my place and the directions/equipment were very easy to use. Chris was so great and fast to answer any questions I had. As of now I have found all dead bed bug bodies and am hoping this will be the end of a very exhausting and awful roommate situation. :) Me and my cat Pinky are very happy and would recommend them to anyone with this unfortunate infestation.

Ive waited a little while to write a review, as I am always skeptical of everyone, and I wanted to make sure our problem was thoroughly taken care of. :) However, its been a couple weeks, and I am happy to report we are bed bug free. Bed bug bbq responded quickly to inspect our house, Chris was knowledgeable and friendly, answered any and every question we threw at him. The lady I talked to on the phone was also great. (Sorry I dont know her name) and Karl and Dan got here ready to work! They were fast and efficient and got the job done! Even though our house looked like we got robbed when we came home, it was a SMALL sacrafice for the peace of mind. Although, I did appreciate all the larger furniture being placed back to where it was originally. I would highly recommend them to anyone! My only complaint... My mom (who is always freaked out about any bug) had contacted them to inspect her house, because of our problem, and had spoke with them a couple times, but they never followed through with going over. She thinks its because she lives far from where theyre located, but I dont know. Other than that though, great job!! And much appreciated!
Dear Chris and Team BBBBQFirst, sometimes when you need to get something done the right way you must grab the bull by the horns and do it yourself! At least, that is what I thought when I initially hired TERMINIX for my Bed Bug problem. Yes, I am victim of the bed bug epidemic! Thought out my experience the last 2 months I now know more than the average person about Bed Bugs! PLEASE DO NOT HIRE TERMINIX FOR YOUR BED BUG INFESTATION. My experience with Terminix was awful. They did a full treatment with chemical sprays. And then when Terminix showed up for a 2nd inspection they inspector inspected my 2-bedroom apartment in 5 minutes! Not even enough time to check everything! In fact, he said, “You don’t have bed bugs anymore”. I was so relieved UNTIL… 2 minutes after he left, I found 4 live bed bugs crawling on my comforter! My first thought was, “OMG! did he not even see that, or did he bring them into my home?” I do not think he even changed his clothes from his last job that same day in which he stated that the home had thousands of bed bugs! What the hell! I even saw a dead beg bug in one of the Terminix pest tests they had on the carpet, but he did not see that or say a word either! As I stood there shocked and panicked, I went onto Google and research Terminix reviews. they have hundreds if not thousands of negative reviews! Apparently, Terminix does know how to eradicate bed bugs. Maybe they are good with other insects but NOT BED BUGS. See, from further reading, Bed Bugs are immune to chemicals and spraying them may kill some but not all. Even their eggs and withstand chemicals. The Bed Bugs just keep coming and coming… there is only 1 option to 100% eradicate them and that is through HEAT TREATMENT! Terminix has less than inferior heat treatment procedures which I will get to in a minute. I will not scare you with my emotional distress (PTSD) BUT I HAD IT! Anyway, I immediately cancel Terminix and found Bed Bug BBQ. It got so bad that my 4-year daughter was getting bit and woke up with many swollen red marks on her arms and legs! I could not take it anymore, so I called Bed Bug BBQ and Chris (the owner) educated me on their methodology. Basically, Terminix was going to use minimal fans and these so-called hot boxes. Bed Bugs die at 122 degrees and I do not even think Terminix was going to get my apartment that hot long enough to KILL THEM ALL. Chris said his heater and many many fans (like 10-12 of them for my 1300 sq ft apartment) will get my apartment up to a peak of 150 degrees with intervals down to 140 degrees. He even showed me a temp chart on one of his other jobs. I instantly gained trust with Chris. He was not only truly knowledgeable but expressed great concern for my situation. He gave me advice on what to do and what not to do. He will do the same for you! For example, how to pack up to stay in hotel without bringing bed bugs with you. And how to prep for your home for your heat treatment, etc. So, I set up the heat treatment with Bed Bug BBQ and they completed the job to perfection! The heat even permeated into my walls and under the carpet killing all BBs! He even did the heat treatment inside my car! Terminix told me they would use the steam mixed with chemicals for the car instead of doing the effective heat treatment! That is just awful! BBBQ is pure non-toxic heat treatments and they have the right equipment for it. My PTSD was getting so bad I had to stay in a hotel 5 days prior to my heat treatment. I still woke up at 2am with my leg itching so I would turn on the light and check under the sheets and find NOTHING! These little vampire bugs are a total nightmare! I am grateful to BBBQ and now have peace of mind! I really feel bad for anyone who goes through that same thing I went through and making a bad decision by hiring Terminix. They gave us peace of mind by honestly telling us we didnt have bed bugs. We called, concerned that we had seen bugs and were waking up with bites, and within a few hours the owner came to personally inspect our house. Instead of trying to convince us we needed a treatment he very frankly said we didnt have bugs. The inspection was completely free and we didnt owe anything for our peace of mind. Glad to have found an honest bed bug removal company!
Last month we discovered bed bugs after a recent move. We did some research about companies providing specialized service in getting rid of them. Chris company was one of the three firms we interviewed. We chose Bed Bugs BBQ based on trust factor after spending an hour and hearing his approach and guarantees.Chris mobilized his team within 2-days after our initial meeting. It involved the extensive heat treatment lasting 5-6 hours.We are now free of bedbugs and nightmare is finally over.Chris is very responsive and straightforward to deal with. We would recommend Bed Bugs BBQ to anyone with such problems.
I would not consider anyone else. This group is the best. They are quick to respond and compassionate with your upset. They are realistic about your problem and do guarantee their results. Honesty is so very important in a business relationship. There is no one more honest than Chris and Laura: Bed Bug Barbeque. I talked with his employees a bit (on the side) they love their boss and support his integrity.I can honestly tell you I would be in a “nut house” by now if I had not called this company. I was blessed getting them to help me.
I am not happy to have to give this review, but I feel I must. Chris was very helpful and delivered the rental equipment to my house at no charge and set it up for me and even let me keep it longer than stated. I followed his instructions to the letter using the heating equipment and checking the temperatures in the room to make sure every surface was at 130-140 degrees. I actually heated the room 3 times for 8 hours each time. This was on 10-27-18. On 11-27-18 more bugs was found in the room. I called Chris and he was on his way to seminar and said he would call me back (he never did). I contacted General Pest and they sprayed my entire house and gave me a 6 month guarantee. I feel that rental equipment with no guarantee is not a good remedy for this problem, no matter how helpful or nice the people are who rent it. I had to spend another $700 after paying $324 to Chris for the heating equipment that didnt solve the problem. I really wish I had contacted General Pest in the beginning and thats what I recommend to anyone who has this horrible problem!!
WOW. What a nightmare to have a bed bug scare. But what a RELIEF to have found this number. I called this company at 8 am and was greeted by a lovely woman who kindly assisted me. Within ONE hour, same day, I had a free inspection of my apartment. I was recommended the best treatment for my particular case and was also provided with that treatment THE SAME AFTERNOON. I was fortunate to not have an extreme case, but seeing one bug is enough to cause panic. This could have gone on for days, but was acted on immediately. I have never been more impressed and satisfied with a service. I was provided with information and explanation of the treatment, and how it works. I was expecting to pay an unreasonable amount, but my bill was under $300.Hands down this is where you want to go if you have an issue!!!! I would give 10 stars if possible.
Chris, Danny and Karl were exceptional. They took care of our bed bug problem. They made me feel like it was not a big deal, when I thought it was a complete tragedy. I tried several different methods to get rid of these pests! We had other companies quote us ridiculous prices (per room), like you can only do one room and solve your problem. I called and Chris came out the next day and assessed our situation and scheduled service a few days later, giving us time to remove anything that would melt or blowup (candles, aerosol cans etc). The guys came (in unmarked vehicles) and treated our cars while we finished getting ready to head out and they were super nice, set up quickly, and were very helpful in answering our questions. There was minimal cleanup needed with the exception of our clothes being pulled out to ensure the heat could circulate effectively and kill the bugs, larva, and especially their eggs. I had not slept well in weeks before the service and I finally got some peace (and a great nights rest) the night we came home. This even helped me feel motivated to get rid of some of the junk Id been storing and moving around for years! Thanks Bed Bug BBQ.
I was at my grandmothers helping her the other day and spotted a few bugs on her mattress. Not really knowing what they were I called BedBug BBQ and Chris came out first thing this morning. He did a thorough inspection and found they were carpet bugs. Thank God! Thank you Chris for being so helpful and honest. You really put us at ease. I would recommend you to anyone.
Chris and his wife came our house within 24h of the first call to inspect if our bug problem was severe enough to go ahead with heat treatment. He inspected our house could not find any traces in the bed but did find the behavior of our bugs quite atypical because they were actually located in our fireplace. He went ahead and sprayed our fireplace for free since he had the product in his car and said that heat treatment would be over kill for now. He said to see if the spray worked and if the problem didnt get better or got worse to go ahead with the heat treatment. My husband and I really appreciate chriss honesty because heat treatment is by no means cheap and he could of easily said to go ahead with it in order to make a sale. If our problem gets worse we will definately be using chris for heat treatment
Chris was very helpful with our infestation. He also helped give us important information towards our problem and how to make sure they stay gone. Very helpful, their treatment works better than other methods. He followed up with us to give us peace of mind after the treatment and was really kind. I would recommend them to anyone who suspects they have them.

They are five stars...After finally admitting to ourselves we had bed bugs it was confirmed by Chris. He was professional and courteous as he inspected our home and showed us all the things we didnt want to see.He went over every thing and told us what to expect.Mike and John arrived and were punctual and treated our house as expected. I called Bed Bug Barbeque 5/4/18 and the owner Chris Gonda came out to inspect our home. He was thorough in checking the house for potential signs of bugs. He also shared a lot of information with me so I could understand what was happening and what I could reasonably expect.I was worried because my friend had bed bugs treated at her apartment and may have inadvertently contaminated my house. After inspecting, Chris was also very honest in telling me that he did not believe there were actually any bed bugs at my home. He suggested and called NIP-it to schedule a dog to sniff the house for bugs. DJ the beagle came and cleared our house, we do not have bed bugs. The prior evening we found a bug that looked kind of like a bed bug but in reality wasnt one because when Chris visited later we realized it had wings and could fly. Gene quickly glanced at this false flag bug and assured us we had bed bugs and could heat treat our home for $3,200.00. He did not look for any further physical evidence of bugs or suggest a dog sniff inspection. We didnt actually have bed bugs and Certified was still going to take our money and treat the home unnecessarily. Thank God we called Bed Bug Barbeque!Chris @ Bed Bug Barbecue said he would heat treat our home for $2,100.00 (more than a third cheaper and a less invasive procedure than Certified!) and wouldnt do it unless there was confirmation of bugs via the NIP-it beagle. It was only after he made that suggestion that we realized the false flag bug was not a bed bug, further strengthening our belief that there wasnt actually any bed bug issue!I admire Chris Gonda for his integrity and honesty. He did the right thing and did not unnecessarily take my money. Thank you for all the help and I recommend anyone wanting affordable bed bug remediation, quote or second opinion to call up Chris and Bed Bug Barbecue!

I did not have an exterminator come out to my property but I had a few questions about bed bugs and asked if they were pre existing or if I brought them in and Chris talked me over steps to look for them and really helped me out.

I had bed bugs for 2 months. Called Terminex who inspected and said I didnt. I showed him the bites I had and he suggested I go to a dermatologist. I then called Ohio Bed bug who actually turned my heavy mattress over and he found one bed bug. He sprayed and said it wasnt bad. No infestation. He chemically treated my car. The bites got worse. Infested my clothes. My bedroom. Even the kitchen. My dog was getting bites too. I bought my house from a couple who flipped it. Everything brand new. However..they didnt live there. Real estate agent suggested I get heat treatment. Since I told her I was going to let the house foreclose. I threw out everything I owned and bought new clothes and was still invested. Looked up heat treatment and BBBBQ has a 5 star rating. Chris came out. Was sympathetic. Said he could solve my problem. 2 months of bites on my arms and legs and back. I moved in with my sister while I was deciding to let the house go or one more treatment. The crew who came out Was John and Mike. Both wonderful as Chris and girls in the office. They treated my car with heat and my whole house. Not just a room. This was Dec 23. I moved back into my into my house on Christmas. No bugs or nymphs or eggs. My nightmare was finally over. Thanks Chris, Mike and John for giving me my and my dog our life back. Chris warned me about PTSD due to so many bites. For a long time. Im aware and still check my clothes and bed but that will go away in time. If not for BBBBQ I would have lost the house I fell in love with when I bought it. Thank you and my God bless all of you!
Greetings. I had BBQ come to my house on 12/13/19 to do a heat treatment. Prior to that I followed all their directions of what to take out of the house, I made over 10 trips and put all items at risk in my garageThey came over the house, we did a walk through and I asked pointedly about the different blinds, I was willing to take them down and put them in the garage. Both individuals stated there was no problem with them and had be take down, but leave in the room, just a few blinds.I came back at the end of the day and was unable to open/close the blinds in the kitchen. I could raise them up and down however I could not tilt them, no matter what i tried. Then I took the following steps.1. I ordered new blinds, similar and less expensive then the current ones.2. On 12/17/19 I ordered the new blinds, after unsuccessfully attempting to tilt them, no matter what I tried.3. On 12/17/19 I emailed Chris Gonda the receipt for the blinds along with an explanation, asking for a credit towards my purchase of his services for the cost of the blinds.4. On 12/17/19 I emailed Chris Gonda again with a more complete explanation of what had transpired.5. On 12/17/19 I received a reply from Chris stating that he would call me tomorrow, 12/18/19.6. I immediately emailed Chris back stating I would prefer to handle this via email so there was no confusion.7. I did not receive an email back from Chris.8. On 1/1/20 I again emailed Chris asking for a credit towards my purchase.9. To date, 1/7/20 I have not heard back from Chris either by phone or email.At this time I cannot fully endorse or recommend Bed Bug Barbecue.
OMG!!!! When I learned we had these creatures in the home I was devastated, shocked, and overwhelmed. Chris came right out and confirmed our biggest fear. We just bought the house and my married kids are living it in. I felt so bad for my kids living in such a state. We were very lucky and got treatment a day earlier because of a cancellation (whoever you are, thank you).The crew BBBBQ is phenomenal, they stayed on top of everything and by the end of the day, we were happy with the MESS and no more BB. The kids have finally gotten some needed sleep without being bitten. Your company is fantastic, but hopefully never need these services again!!
Chris and the folks at BBBBQ were prompt, efficient, and attentive in their treatment of bedbugs in my daughters apartment. Spotted some bugs on the couch didn’t know what they were so to be safe i called. even though it was after hours my call was taken immediately, and they even let me send a picture via text message so they could confirm it was bed bugs. scheduled an inspection the next morning and the job was done within a week. highly recommend! fast and professional. no signs of bugs since.

Ive never before reviewed a company that I didnt do business with, but the reason I didnt use them was because they were so honest. He came in, saw what I had, and told me they werent bed bugs. Woohoo! Had he been dishonest, he could have charged me a fortune to kill a bug that was going to go away on its own.

2022-04-03Chris Gonda responded to my urgent request a few hours after I talked to a woman at the office. I had been told by a mattress company that they couldnt remove my old box springs because they were infested with bed bugs. Chris used an extremely bright light and a powerful magnifier and declared that I DID NOT HAVE BED BUGS! He took a picture of what he found and showed me a website that matched the picture to carpet beetles. They can be carried in on cut flowers and various other methods of transport. The treatment is thorough vacuuming of the site. No treatment necessary. I offered him some money and he absolutely would not take it and suggested I donate it to the Lakewood Alive program. He then put my bed back together for me and carried the old set of box springs downstairs and put them on my porch. Said he would come back around on trash day and set them at the curb for me. I was so grateful and relieved. Such good service from an unexpected source. I cant say enough good things about this company!

2022-06-02I live in Cleveland Heights, OH. My husband and I have lived in our home for 31 years. In my life, I have never had an experience with bed bugs. When my husband and I saw one after returning from a trip, we were horrified.Back story (For a few weeks prior, I had unexplained mosquito like bites and hives. The itching was horrible, and it was too early for mosquitoes. When I do laundry, I just strip the bed and wash. But after this itching, my husband and I stripped the bed together. Both of us looked for any kind of bug or stain that might confirm a bite of some kind. We took off and looked at both sides of cover. No bugs or evidence of either. Down the laundry chute it went. We then checked both sides of top sheet, and both sides of bottom fitted sheet before sending it down laundry chute. Nothing there. Next we took off mattress pad; inspected both sides with no evidence of any type of insect or bug. Then we both examined mattress. I had looked online for hints of how to recognize evidence of different types of bug. Our mattress was totally clean; no bugs; no stains. We breathed a sigh of relief and put clean bedding on bed. My husband had not gotten any bites, hives or anything. I went to Urgent Care and they couldnt figure it out either, but I do have allergies and we agreed it was a good idea to make an appointment with an allergist to see what was causing this).When we returned from our week away, I turned back the cover and saw a tiny bug. Yuck! I was totally creeped out. I killed it, then picked up the cover some more and saw another one!! This was exactly what pics of bed bugs looked like. I woke my husband up; he had already fallen asleep, and told him we needed to sleep in another room. Can not begin to tell you how horrible this whole thing was. Besides the ick factor, its embarrassing and not something that can be easily shared. I have no idea how or when a bed bug hitchhiked to our house.My husband slept, but I researched the entire night to find out how to get rid of these uninvited and unwelcome guests. I found Bed Bug BBQ online, along with some other local companies. But Bed Bug BBQs method of getting rid of these bugs was unique and guaranteed to work after a one day treatment. My next step was to call the company.A woman named Vicky answered my call. She was wonderful. So patient. So compassionate. I almost started to cry a few times because this was such a nightmare. But she reassured me there were other clean households that had dealt with the same nightmare, and how effective this company was. And she gave my name to a technician to come out for a free inspection.Later that day, I got a call from their technician and Strategic Heat Facilitator, Dan Marlowe. He scheduled an appointment for a free inspection the next afternoon. He confirmed what I had found. He further explained the service and the guaranty. He was professional and easy to talk to. He did not pressure us at all. My husband and I knew this is the way we wanted to go. This was on a Tuesday. We were able to schedule Thursday for the heat treatment to take place. There was a checklist of what we needed to do prior to the treatment. And there was a lot for us to do before and after.Dan showed up with his helper promptly at 7:45 am. I believe his helpers name was Ron or Ronnie. My husband and I packed up our dog and left for the day. We returned at 3:30 pm to lock up the house. It had been heated to 150 degrees and you couldve roasted an egg on our upstairs railing! We had been warned ahead of time that we should make arrangements to stay elsewhere for the night because of the intense heat and had made plans to spend the night with my daughter.Dan was calm, kind and reassuring. The next day I called him with a question and he immediately got back to me. I cannot recommend this company strongly enough. They know what they are doing, and they are very good at it, from the first phone call on.Services: Home inspection, Bed bug extermination

2022-07-10Rented the machine for the weekend. Did a good job except there was still bedbugs immediately afterwards. Contact the company to seek advice and help, after all it saids guaranteed. She said because they didnt personally do it themselves, we rented the machine and did it ourselves, there is nothing they can do and no guarantee. I asked is there anything she could help with, like another days rental with advice or help at a discount, she said she had to speak to the owner first and would call me back. She never called back nor answer my phone calls again. Machine rental was over $500. Do not waste your money.

2022-05-13I called for an estimate , knowing that some businesses will come and tell you in need of this and that . Not here at BedBugBbq, they called back extremely quick . So nice and patient on the call . I just sent a picture and she figured it was not a bed bug. Even though they could of came out and charged me . This is a no bs company and helped out tremendously. Recommendedand some .

2022-08-18They keep there protocol under wraps until they recieve a deposit. Then when something happens they take your money and make you put another deposit. Lost out on alot of money to recieve no service. Refused to refund me my money. Still trying to get my money back.

2022-05-30Although the heat machine killed bed bugs, it did not get them all. Called the company the very next morning all they said was they had to talk to the owner and get back to me to see what they could do. They never got back to me nor answered my call after that. Dont waste your money.

2021-08-17This company was amazingly helpful. I called on Monday afternoon and spoke with Vicki. She was kind hearted, understanding of my worry, and very helpful. She called Chris on his cell phone, and Chris came out the very same day. They gave me Chris’s cell phone number, so that I could call him directly, if necessary. This company has thought about, and cares about providing good, and kind, service to their customers. When Chris arrived, he thoroughly inspected my home. He took the time to educate me on the critters habits and signs, and what to look for. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and completely. He gave me good news, even though it meant no job for him. He explained to me the heat treating treatment that his company provides; and it is very reassuring to hear how it works. Thankfully, I dont need it. But if you do need it, you will be happy to hear how they do it. Thank you for your quick, and thorough, response, Chris and Vicki. You saved me from another night of worry. If I could give you 100 stars, I would.

2021-05-19Chris came out to my home and did an inspection for possible bedbugs exposure. He did a very thorough inspection with a magnifying glass and lights. He thoroughly inspected the headboards, Footboards, walls, and under the mattress.Thankfully, we are free of bedbugs he even went so far to pull up pictures of ticks versus bedbugs to ensure that my home is clear. Chris coming out to do the inspection put my heart and mind at much more peace.After careful inspection, he determined that it was a tick and not a bedbug. I highly recommend his service he cares about his customers and Explains his process very thoroughly. He definitely went the extra mile! He is truly a professional and knows what he is doing.
