I used Bears Towing recently through AAA to tow our truck a short distance to be repaired. A lady from Bears called me to tell me when the truck would arrive and was very kind and friendly. The driver was fast, professional, and friendly. I appreciate the prompt service and recommend.
I was traveling 1300 miles with my camper in tow. I burned up a bearing just before thier exit, it was Sunday night everything was closed.I spoke w the owner that night on the phone. He recommended I come in and ask for Scott on Monday morning . I did, and within a few hours, I was back up and on my way. Thier pricing was more than fair. It is a family owned business.I wouldnt hesitate to use them again and if your in need of assistance they have the equipment to be able to help you out.
I had a flat on my recent 1300 mile move. They came out quick after being contacted. The gentleman didnt have the exact tool needed so he towed me to the shop right nearby. Cut my spare free, aired it up and sent me on my way. Kind and professional.
Had trouble with my truck today: brakes locked up. Dave came to where my truck was stuck. He came in 10 minutes. Though their website says Burbank, apparently they have a local service garage in Wooster as well. Dave was superb and we crawled under the truck and found a snapped emergency brake line. He show me how to unlock it and with a little hammering it was freed up. No tow necessary, nor a trip to the dealer. Dang that was great. You may not have gotten a tow fee, but you guys have my business forever. Thanks again!
Good place, good people. Family organization in business for decades, run by a guy who rather looks like a bear(!), hence the name Bears Towing. Trusted by police and EMS to work on their official vehicles. Quality work at a fair price. They can tow, maintain, and repair just about anything that has an engine. This is a large facility on a large property, well enough equipped to put even an entire 18- wheeler tractor trailer up on their lifts. 24-hour towing in all kinds of weather. Easy to locate at the intersection of I-71 and state route 83 (exit # 204, Lodi/Wooster exit -- you cant miss the big sign on their large facility :-).

I honestly dont know what I would have just now done The lady who answered the phone it reminds me of be a mom and pop type of business was so empathetic to my issues was here from Holmes county went to two different gas stations here wasted money three different times on air that didnt even work went to the next place only to figure out that it deflated my whole tire they had a slit in there tubing I called Bears towing there would be nobody there to fix a tire or to help me for at least 40 minutes because there was a bad accident at the light God bless this woman she said if I can make it over if they would fix my tire I needed three others pumped upAnd you guys did all of that for me thank you so much God bless you
An unexpected roadside emergency left us out- of -towners stranded...but not for long! From the moment we placed the call to be towed, until our truck was repaired, we received OUTSTANDING service! So thankful for everything they done for us today! We could not have had a better experience anywhere else! Highly recommended!

2022-03-19Rick from Bears Towing rescued us from a dangerous spot on the highway. We didnt know where we were, he found us and pulled up like a Boss! Rick was willing to change the tire but I decided to get towed to a safer place. He even recommended a tire place for us. Thank you Rick! We made a friend for life.

2022-04-10The drivers have always been friendly and very helpful. However my last experience I dealt with the office for the first time regarding my 16 yo son’s truck. I called for information as the parent and the lady I spoke with wasn’t very friendly and I was told she didn’t have any info or know anything about the situation and when my son’s dad called in soon after she was able to read the entire report to him which caused some issues.

2022-07-06If I could give them less than one star I would. I had what could be considered a minor emergency. After much back and forth with the woman who answered the phone, she agreed to send someone out roughly 3 hours after I called. Never showed up. On top of that, the tow was quoted around $100. Then she tells me its another $7 per tow mile. Ive been towed a few times before and have never had that charge. 100% would not recommend

2022-05-06If your expecting respect or any kind of decent human behavior please look else where.I’m not sure who owns this place but it’s a shame that Wooster only has a few tow options. This company has to be the worst customer response I’ve ever experienced.10/10 don’t recommend.

2022-06-16Long waits. If you need to get your car towed do not come here. I recently requested a roadside tow and had to wait over an hour just to get a phone call saying they could not tow me. Very unprofessional. No respect for customers whatsoever.

2021-12-13My opinion, they did a great job. They told us 15 minutes, driver showed up in 12 minutes.We where getting our limo which we own ,towed home it threw a belt.Tow truck driver went out of his way to be extra careful, what a great job. I hope I dont every need a tow. However if I do ,I will call them first. Price was very fair. Thank you guys.

2021-12-22Driver was kind and helpful, lady who answered phone, same thing. They were patient with getting authorization from my insurance. Easy to talk to and with which is important. Made a tough situation feel not so tough. Hard to do in these days. Id like to Thank them for a job well done on Every level! I would recommend them to anyone.

2022-03-04Bears was extremely helpful when I had a late night tire blowout in frigid weather. They were open late, have a comfortable waiting room and were very considerate.
