Nice ice. I dont know if Ganges pro shop is open due to Covid-19(check his Facebook page), but best place in cleveland to get your skates sharpened. Locker rooms are big and spacious. Handicap accessible(not locker rooms a couple stairs to get to them), but no automatic doors. Play here fairly often, and practice sometimes with the kids with Ohio Hockey Project. Barons Ice Arena is a nice place to play and watch play of Ice hockey. 🏒 🥅
Since there is no listing for the volleyball club called maverick, Im reviewing the facility here.We are here for a volleyball tournament. The facility is not maintained in any way. The floor the players are on seems like it has not been cleaned ever. There is a thick coating of dust on the play surface. The mens room fixtures look like they have not been cleaned in months. The urinals had lots of stains and hairs. (disgusting) the snack bar charged $1 for a 6 ounce coffee. Do not schedule any events at this facility!!!!!!!!!
Tried to call and complain, but their number posted was for a fax machine. What had happened was after my game I put my clothes that Id just worn into a laundry bag from my hotel, when I got back to my hotel I realized I had forgotten it and went back. When I got into the lockerroom that another highschool team was occupying at the time Id looked everywhere... Except the trash. The employee that cleans the lockerroom between team tore open my bag obviously seeing that there were clothes inside and so what did he do? He just trashes it, why put it in the lost and found? Thats simply too much work apparently so because of this employee I had to reach elbow deep into the trash consisting of saliva soaked sunflower seed shells, very dingy hockey tape and who knows what else. I dont even want to think about it. You saw there were clothes, yet you still them away. Youre a simpleton and a dolt.

2021-11-05I’ve been here quite a few times now for tournaments, and the only reason I’m leaving a review is because the girl that works here is the nicest human being I’ve ever met in my life. She remembers everything about everyone and asks me and my family about things we’ve told her months prior. Now THAT is customer service. I don’t know what happened between last year and this year but the staff here this season is INCREDIBLE! So much nicer than other rinks I go to. I hope it stays this way forever. Thanks Barons!

2018-10-27Although dated, this old barn still has fantastic ice and a lot of life. Its easy to get to, and the staff is friendly. Recent upgrades include LED lighting, so its nice and bright inside. Plenty of parking too! Folks may have said this rinks best days are behind it, but the internal upgrades, fresh paint, and quality surface tell a different story. Anxious to see what they do next.

2019-04-15This is an old single pad arena, it is kept up but certainly dated. Not much of a lobby. Dressing rooms are average size with minimal amenities. Ice is well maintained. Benches are average size. Spectator Viewing is limited. Lots of parking with several handicapped parking spots.
