Old-fashioned service wide selection of hardware does screens and glass places like this or in around anymore people need to go to places like this much better shopping experience than a big box store
Always have what I need and they provide great customer service. Supporting small business ensures theyll be here when we need them. Big box stores are ok for some things but Barneys offers quick in and out efficient service.
The hometown hardware store that has what you need and the service beyond what you expect. You dont need to go to a big box store and wonder for an hour only to leave frustrated. Go here first
I love this place! They give personal service, are very friendly and carry things the big stores dont. I had keys made at the local Home Depot TWICE, the same keys and both times the keys didnt work. Took them over to Barneys and first time they cut them they worked.

I used to live down the road from here and it was almost weekly I was here for one thing or another. Ive moved and still keep coming back. They almost always have bolts and screws in the oddball sizes I always seem to need. The HW stores on Wilmington or Stroop only sometimes have what I need. Plus the folks here usually know there stuff or will get someone who does. Since the pandemic, they require masks and go out of there way to get stuff for you if you dont have one. I cant recommend them enough.
Support your locally owned business and go to Barneys! Everyone is always very helpful and friendly. I havent yet run into a need they didnt have, but get the impression Barney would order it for you if they didnt have it in stock.
Barneys, is like a family members home, where once you walk in you are treated with kindness and promptness. If I found anything that I needed and they didnt have it they would let me know if they could get it. One of the best establishments I have dealt with.

I had just found a replacement for my shorted sump bump but broke the PCP pipe for the outlet. I went to Barneys and a young lady attendant set me up with everything I needed to replace it. She went above and beyond. My formerly flooded but now dry basement and my sanity thank you.

2022-04-11I moved to the area two years ago and shop here whenever I can. Sure, sometimes you have to go to Lowes or Home Depot, but Im always delighted whenever I can manage stopping by Barneys. They are so helpful and knowledgeable and the store is always very well-stocked. They are a pillar in our community.

2021-12-11I have been shopping here for years and was always satisfied with the awesome customer service. Today they went above and beyond. I needed a specific paint tray that they did not carry. The owner of the store literally gave me his personal paint tray so I could finish the job. You will not find a better True Value anywhere.

2021-08-20Hands down my favorite hardware store. Instead of having to find help (like the big box stores), Barneys staff actually seek you out. They have everything, I went for 2-cycle engine oil, and left with a bottle jack, oil, and a rocking chair.

2021-05-30I rely on Barneys for supply of uncommon fasteners, and related hardware. They almost always have what I need, especially for items no big box store would touch. The young men and women working there are always helpful. Im glad Barneys is in Beavercreek!

2020-09-13I really like this store. The staff is extremely helpful, it has good selection and the prices are not bad. The only negative for me is the have over the top about mask wearing. That might be a good thing to others but I have been shopping at other stores that do not hassle me about masks.

2020-11-10I have dealt with Barneys for many years starting before Dave Barney bought it. Great inventory, helpful staff, reasonable prices. Dave has expanded floor space and inventory over the years. I am continually working on some do-it-yourself project or other and it is rare to be unable to find what I need.

2018-08-27It had been a long while since I had been into a smaller and more personal hardware store like this, since I live right by two much larger competitors and this store is farther away. However, it was such a good experience, even though I was there for something quick, that Ill be going here first in the future and only to the two big box stores after I try Barneys first.
