Barnes & Noble in other cities:
Love Barnes and noble! One of my favorite places to shop for books, and I love going there. The staff is always friendly and ready to help, and it’s great that they have more than just books- toys, puzzles, funko pops, fidgets, candy, and more! Great place to shop for books, games, toys and more!📖🚂
This is a great Barnes & Noble, location. One of the three locations I go to frequently and this one has always been the best.Nice entrance from Polaris parking lot or from behind within the outdoor area of Polaris shops. Two stories high, very spacious, tons of books to choose from, Starbucks included.Currently there was ongoing construction, which had the record and movie area completely destroyed, it was much more louder and chaotic than a book store should be. In general, it was just sort of a mess...Ill be excited to see what it appears like when its done, but, I certainly wouldnt be doing construction on that high of a level during operation hours, or Id at least hope for it to have some general organization.
Great childrens book section. Clean store with lots of room to browse, wonderful magazine selection, Starbucks coffee shop inside the store. Helpful staff. Great selection of books. Some toys and interesting, fun gifts, games, fun items. Play area just outside the store.
Its so nice that theres still a physical bookstore! This place is so inviting and welcoming! They have a huge selection and good deals. Its a nice place to grab a book or just hang out for a while. This one is convenient to our house and other things and usually have what Im looking for, so I dont have to go anywhere else! I really hope they dont go away like a lot of businesses are. I really love going there!
My children did not grow up surrounded by easily accessible bookstores. Our trip today was one of their first to a bookstore and certainly the biggest. 2 boys spent over $100 on books!! The young readers section was beautiful and you cant go wrong with a London Fog from Starbucks. The teacher discount didnt hurt either.
Just had the best experience ever! I went in there looking for a vinyl unfortunately they didn’t have it, but a worker named Casey dropped everything to make sure i was helped. She was polite, charismatic, and was able to get a hold on the album at another store. Literally some of the best customer service I have ever had, keep up the good work!
Love this place, of course then again every Barnes & Noble Ive ever been too here in Ohio or outside of Ohio has always been amazing. The Atmosphere is always fantastic and always helpful, the employees are always ready to help you to find exactly what you need. However, with any Barnes & Noble you always have to remember they can be high in Prices for just about everything. I understand why too and you will too when you visit. If your ever in need of a great place to read, write a book or maybe even get some work done and enjoy a nice thing of Coffee. Polaris Barnes & Noble will always be your best place to enjoy those moments.Sincerely Neko Gem 💎
One of the closer locations to my town. I like the sitting areas even though it may have been limited due to covid. The atmosphere is busy, can be loud but I did love the sense of peace being here, surrounded by books. I love that I can find legos, cards, and other random items here.I’m appreciative of the book selection paired with the manga they have available. It’s extremely pricey to shop here consistently but it does feel like it’s worth it once in a while.
It had been a long time since I was in a B & N store and I immediately knew why I always enjoyed going there. I like to read and prefer actual books and magazines to a computer, tablet or phone screen. For me, theres something about holding the item, turning its pages, making notes in margins and highlighting the important things that Ive read. Cant do that with technology, it gets kinda messy! 😁 I also received the same great customer service I remember from long ago. Good selection, good service, a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere - whats not to like!?
Its been several months since I last visited this store and was a bit surprised that the store had been rearranged. At first I was frustrated because my favorite subjects were not where I remembered. But as I walked around I ended up stopping in areas I used to ignore and ended up having a very pleasant time. I love this store and will be sure not to wait so long before my next visit. The store was not crowded and everyone wore masks which made me feel safe.
This is a good store with good products. I walked in here while shopping at Polaris and was satisfied with my experience. I walked in and walked around the first floor of the store, where in saw many books.I went up the store’s escalator to the second floor, which is where the children’s books and some non book stuff is. I walked around and then took the escalator back down to the first floor. The first floor of the store had a coffee shop, so I went there to buy a cookie. I got the cookie and ate it; it tasted really good. After I ate my cookie, I left the store and continued on with my day.
This Polaris bookstore has some amazing items I have not seen in Pickerington or at Easton like a camera piece to attach to your cell phone to turn it into a camera. We always find the books we want or they can order them to be mailed to us or for us to pickup. Wonderful selection of magazines and periodicals. There is ample parking and handicap parking at the front of the store. Restroom is on the first floor and handicap accessible. With escalator to the second floor. This store has an entrance at the back. New Balance was right behind them to the left so after buying a pair of shoes we found we could use the back entrance into this Barnes & Noble location. We will be back.
A great place to peruse books and magazines. You can also get a tasty treat, coffee, or a prepared drink.Lately, I have found myself looking through their movie selection. I have found movies I never would have normally been exposed to.I like the atmosphere at B&N and tend to visit at least once per week.
I visited just before Christmas. They were busy of course. Shelves were well stocked. While I was shopping, I saw the checkout line grow to halfway through the store rather quickly. The employees responded accordingly and got everyone checked out within minutes. When I was ready to check out I only waited a minute or two for a register to open up. I really like the layout of this location. Its very inviting and relaxing with several reading nooks.
I love Barnes and Noble. The staff is so friendly! I asked for a personality enneagram book and the staff member was with me searching for it every step of the way. She offered other suggestions as well. I really enjoy coming to a great book store and having a coffee and dessert. If this brings joy to you as well, come and join me at Barnes and Noble.
Was leaning against a table without knowing it and the employee rudely asked me to not do it because they “can’t clean the tables”And then the same employee walked past a customer that wasn’t wearing a mask and said NOTHING... it wouldn’t be a problem if he hadn’t used ‘health and safety’ as an excuse and then not enforce their mask policy posted on the door... like I get it, my bad! Honest mistake! But don’t use health and safety protocols to scold me and then let people shop without a mask 🙄 store selection is fine but every time I go in here the employees very clearly hate their job/lives and are rude as hell
I found a series of books my granddaughter wanted, with the help of a friendly associate who took me right to them. One of the books in the series was out of stock, but the associate was able to order it. It arrived within a week. Great experience. And a cup of Starbucks while browsing.
I do love this Barnes and Noble. It is such a wonderful place for books. The prices are typically cover price but you can find deals if you look. There is always a discount table that will have interesting finds as well. The staff tends to he very friendly and helpful when you are searching for something specific.
Just 3 stars because within 10 minutes, 3 employees asked me 4 times if I want to be a member for $25... I told the third lady, when she pointed out the sign about the membership, that two other employees already told me about it. Shes then preceding to tell me about it again. Im not really sure if it would be rude of me just to ignore these people? Or what? Bothering your customers with pushy sales tactics is rude, but do 2 wrongs make a right? What do I do here? I just wanted to buy a book.Side notes (which should be the normal review):The greeter was very nice and informative. The store was neat, clean and organized. Checkout was fast and easy.Ill probably go back and just hope that the aforementioned nuisance was due to a recent bunch of corporate tryhards pushing employees to pester for profit.
As with all Barnes and Noble, vastly overpriced. The only reason to buy a book in person here instead of on Amazon is that you absolutely need it, today or someone gave you a gift card. Their own website is much cheaper than the store. A 40 dollar item in store can often be found for 20 online. The store itself is clean and nice, and employees polite.
I can always find what Im looking for. Staff are fantastic no matter what location I go to.They also have outstanding programs and activities planned for children.I love that the Grandchildren (4-8) ask for Barnes &Noble gift cards as gifts because they love going so much.
Big box book store with a decent selection of board games and a nice coffee shop with good pastries. The best place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee and a pastry in the mall. I often find popular new board games here that are sold out elsewhere. There are also several Pokestops and Poke gyms accessible from within the store or just outside.
Very nice people .fast in And out and i like a quick in and out ..lol very big store great place to buy and find a spot and read. Fall away in to the story and forget about well almost everything ..kids have to be picked up. Groceries still sittin in the online box and ofcourse practice .anywho go visit .fun for all .5 to 105.
My children love to visit Barnes and Noble. They love to play with the train set in the childrens area and we always pick a book or two to bring home with us. I, myself, love shopping here as well. There is a good selection of books, toys, games, and more. It is hard to maneuver my stroller around the childrens area, as the shelves and standalone book displays are close together and sometimes merchandise can be a little on the pricey side, but we do have the membership which provides good deals and mailed coupons.
I went in to get a toy for my younger sister called ahead to make sure they had it in stock, the employee who helped not only placed my item on hold at the front but also grabbed a few other things he thought she would enjoy. It was a great experience. She loves her Rilakkuma and Pusheen stuffed animals. He was very knowledgeable about the items in the store as well as pricing and future sales. Thanks so much!!!
The people in this place were super friendly. I was looking for an SAT book. The lady said, do you want me to take you to the book or tell you where it is? I said, what? I thought that was so awesome. I opted for directions but I admired the customer service response to the question.
Went in with my granddaughter to look for a toy and other things. While there we didnt find exactly what we were looking for but did find several good deals on things. I like this place for its cleanliness and up to date nice look. Its a wonderful place to find something for the entire family. People need to read more. Take advantage of this quaint place
Nice store, very cleanly and nice helpful staff to follow. I must take a star off though because they dont store records very well in the store. It looks like they are trying to cram them into a small spot to save space, but they have plenty of space to spread them out. They are all crammed into their shelving and it makes it hard to look through them without practically bending them or having to constantly take them out.
This Barnes and Noble has good service overall. Theyalways help you find what you need. The only 2 problems are the anti-theft detectors by the media section being very sensitive and going off when they shouldnt and the restrooms being dirty or trashed most of the time
I love going to Barnes and Noble but wont be back for a while because you have to wear a mask or they kick you out. I understand the reasons but the lady was rude about it and i watched her kick out like 12 people. My kid and friend had one on injust have asthma and even after i showed her my inhaler she made us leave. Horrible attitude.
Great place , I like it better then the one at easton since its more quiet the only problem i had was the older lady working at the cafe was very rude for no reason other then she didnt know how to put email instead of phone number for the B&N card and continued to being rude after another cashier attended me , way to sour ones mood .
All good to visit Barnes n Noble when we are in the states. A book lovers delight. Not only that we enjoy looking at the new card games or boxed games they are carrying since our last visit. You can spend many happy hours there but if it all becomes too much you can crash at Starbucks for a coffee.
Good store but Im going to post a little criticism...This and other area stores are putting tons of calendar stickers on racks marked 50% off. Calendars are on clearance, the stickers are NOT. Dont put them on the clearance racks. A full shelving unit was almost entirely calendar stickers, yet all at full price instead of 50% off. Find ANOTHER area for this merchandise or lower it please.
A nicely sized Barnes and Noble, great selection spread across two floors. While the additional workload during the holiday season is understandable, being asked to wait with a gift wrapping request until other customers pay for their orders and some stuff looking rather bored isnt a great way to showcase customer service.
I did not know they changed the Starbucks to Barnes & Noble brand. Weird thing to be upset about I know. I was just taken back really. Still taste the same so definitely no complaints there. My only issue is always having to wait in the line. I feel like they dont have enough help on the registers when there are quite a few people in line.
I have been to many Barnes and Noble book stores and enjoy the feeling of them. They have a great selection of genres, with hundreds of books in each. My wife always goes for cooking books and I usually go for sci-fi. I will say sometimes their prices are higher than expected, but usually the books I go for are moderately priced. Not CCW friendly
This place didn’t have automatic doors for wheel chair access. I held the door for a differently abled gentleman’s wheelchair and realized this. Also the staff didn’t help him while he was leaving and I ran to help him again.I even informed one of the staff members and that person said “It is what it is” without much care. I really hope they care and install the automatic door system soon.
Such a good atmosphere.. whether youre a reader or not, theyve got plenty of things to consider. Novels, non fiction, anime, poetry, childrens books AND toys -- plenty of big kid toys as well, knick knacks and the likes.Spent hours just roaming around looking through everything since they had changed up their selection since Id last been there
Youre never going to find every book in existence at a brick and mortar but for the large amount of space they have a great variety and can order whatever! The staff is usually roaming around doing work, so it has taken a bit on the weekdays to find people but theyre always polite and willing to help.
This is a nice Barnes & Noble. Friendly staff. They leave you alone when you are just reading and help you when you look lost. There is a starbucks inside and plenty of chairs upstairs. They do different events (readings, board games, holiday charity gift wrapping, ect.) throughout the year as well. You can cut through the store to get to the mall as well.
What can you say its Barnes and Noble and I could spend hours in any of their locations on the planet. This one in particular gets 5 Stars in my book because, I called about a book and they didnt currently have it in stock but said they had a shipment coming in and would put a copy on hold for me if I would like. 2 days later I got a phone call and immediately rushed to the store to pick it up. All this for no extra charge. I feel like its a big store and probably standard procedure for them but it made me feel special and made my day when I got that call.
Im not much of a reader, but the employees are always helpful and attentive. I love to buy their hallmark cards and cute collectibles like Rilakkuma, Pokemon, Manga etc. Some of their prices are even less than amazon ;)Barnes and Nobles website has even more to offer (including in store pickup)
My husband and I frequently go to Barnes and Noble on Friday evenings. Its a good place to get new books and study materials, but they rarely have older books in stock. Most of the stores have a giant section dedicated to board games and anime merchandise, rather than carrying additional books. I dont mind because I like getting a pusheen plush sometimes. Just annoying when you think, oh right, Ive been looking for x book and they dont have it in stock. Sometimes its easier to just not bother and order the book off Amazon.
No where better to meet, think and learn when working or otherwise. I prefer to do my meeting here so I am not limited on perspective and if needed I can distract myself with some alternative literature and growth in the mean time.I hope they are around for years to come!
The staff knows less than my children about where to find a book. Even after looking it up in their system they came back and said they didnt have any of the reference books I was looking for. I said thanks then went and found about 15 or 20. One young lady even went so far as to tell me that the 2nd floor was fiction only... Sad.
I felt it was very unorganized and I probably spent 45 minutes looking and was never asked by a clerk, if they could help. There was also a information stand, but no one around to ask for help. Then we got up the the cashier, and there was 1 cashier...no one else. With a line...5 ahead of me and 6 behind me.
Nice Barnes & Noble, terrible customer service. I would go out of my way to avoid this one. One of the managers yelled at me in front of other customers for trying to use my moms account when I was running an errand for my mom. There is a nice professional way to handle situations like this and apparently she missed that memo. Will not be going back to this one.
They dont price match their own online price because the website and the store are different companies? Im at the store but had to order the book online to be picked up at the store, what a waste of time. Now I have to wait for the order to be ready for pick up for the book I already have on my hand at the checkout 😣

2022-07-26Wide selection of books, toys and gifts. They even had the newest Harry Potter Lego set! I cant wait to see what this place looks like after the remodeling is complete.

2022-06-13There are a few Barnes and Noble locations in Columbus and I believe this one is the most energetic, modern, clean and bright. It is a bit sad to watch the decline of paper book sellers; and so your support is important! I am a fiction writer and I come here to drink coffee and write. Its reasonably clean and staff are pretty pleasant.

2019-11-23Ive always liked Barnes & Noble no matter which location Ive visited. The sections are generally well laid out and the staff tends to be very helpful.I also enjoy the random tables of eclectic assortments of books that I may otherwise not have come across. The music sections are also usually well stocked with something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the album array in Baltimores location. The Whitaker Review

2022-03-14The displays always look neat, the lines move quickly, the employees are nice, and the selection of books is better than at other B&N locations Ive been to. For example, for Christmas I wanted a specific, unpopular book no other store had in stock and shipping to store would take too long to get in time. But this location had one copy on the shelf!

2022-04-15Great book store! You cant beat going to the store and getting your hands on the books! I asked a lady for help finding a book I wanted and she was super helpful. We found the book, she covered a few different formats it was in and help with check out. I grabbed my cut and was off.

2022-04-06Took my 15 yr old for the first time as she loves to read. Everything was fine until we got close to check out for some odd reason, we had about 5 employees hovering around us like we were about to steal. Wish I had left without purchasing will never go back to that store.

2018-05-21Visited for a Star Wars/Childrens Hospital Fundraiser event hosted by Rebel Watch Podcast. The store seemed very accommodating and the staff were great. Loved the two levels with bright, open balcony. A wonderful space to shop for books.
