Its great. Nurses and doctors are great. The biggest draw for me is medical, dental, and having blood drawn is under the same roof. Also the on site pharmacy. Negatives? Reception staff can sometimes be rude and detached. And its in a very ghetto part of town. But convenience keeps me coming back.
Very unsatisfied. I ran into traffic and was 6 minutes late for an appointment. I understand I was late but there should be a little bit of a grace period. Now they are saying I wont get seen. Im usually always 20 minutes early. They have to understand things happen...Ill definitely be looking for another dental practice because along with them not letting me in a little late theres nothing about patient care at this place.
Both times I was here waited over a half hour over my scheduled time to be seen. Second time I was here I believe they forgot to check me in and I waited about an hour for an 8 am appointment. Don’t think these people understand their patients have jobs they need to get to and that their time is precious.
This is my go to doctors office and pharmacy location. Wouldnt have it anyother way. Great service, wonderful staff. The pharmacy is really good here. Ive never experienced prescription mix-ups, mistakes, or a lot of the confusion that Ive experienced at other pharmacies. The pharmacists and technicians are always knowledgeable and friendly. And, I wouldnt trade-in my Doctor for anyone else. Shes the best.Theyve recently undergone extensive reconstruction and remodeling. If youve never visited this location you really need to stop by and check it out. Theyve even remodeled the parking lot. Theres more parking spaces and the lot is more organized and spaceous. I love this location.
I was diagnosed with many dental cavities. Nobody answered my questions properly and Dr. Molly Beutel got FED UP REALLY quickly. She answered me vaguely and didnt consider elaborating them. I had to turn my head all the way around, she noticed my discomfort but never had the courtesy to sit in front of me. She is experienced, but she should cooperate with her patients and respect what they want and find a middle ground as well. OR explain everything before you do it. I was overwhelmed by her rigid attitude and started crying but she never confided or gave me support. Her rigid attitude and rudeness hurt my feelings. Some patients, like me, also have a language barrier and doctors should be willing to understand THAT. This is CLEAR discrimination.
I appreciated the professionalism and efficiency. The facility is clean and organized. The doctor I spoke with was patient with me and did not rush to complete our time together. For a community facility it is well run. This is different from most community health centers that I have seen in cities like LA and Baltimore.
Well it is a clinic so dont expect much, its clean enough, the wait can be up to 2 hours with an appointment without one 3 or longer. Most of the doctors are rude, Ive overheard the front desk talking about people. They dont get back to you very quickly you just have to stay on them. Scripts could take weeks. I live close so I deal with it.
The fact that I had to wait outside during my daughters appointment just because of where Im employed at is so unprofessional and beyond me.. Arent the staff supposed to be wearing a mask? Ok I was wearing mine and still got discriminated against, not because I refused to wear a mask inside not because I had symptoms and/or high fever but I got told to wait outside because of where I worked. Given the location that they serve Axcess point has some nerve!!
Can I give them a zero stars? Back in 2014 they pretended to be the same as Akron General Hospital. Lets say their replies to my questions like why isnt my medical records arent in your computers? Their replies were something like this; they (AG) havent gotten our database downloaded yet. Me asking, Where are my files from my previous doctors? Why do I have to sign release forms again when we just did all of them 2 weeks ago at my last visit? The staff at this community health center were trained to be very evasive about the relationship with Akron General. Honestly people these policy-processes are the lowest form of scum because our lives are on the line. This isnt a car sale. For me it is life or death. March 2017 brought the biggest lies of all. I cant work a job with my pains and disabilities. So I got a leave of absence at work, filed a short-term disability claim with my insurance company, and these human beings never completed the doctor statement forms even though my insurance agent and myself faxed it to them everyday for about 10 days. No one called to offer a solution or identify the cause. At this point I am losing my mind worrying that I surely lose my job and get denied on my insurance claim. Sure enough that is what happened. The doctor that was my medical appointment promised to complete the necessary paperwork. Never happened. Their compliance oficer sad that they have a policy that their resident doctors nor the attending doctors can fill out or sign an insurance form. BTW, there is NO such policy. This medical group has yet to use modern medicine tests like x-rays, MRIs ultrasound, EMGs or anything that might point to a possible condition. Three years and NO DIAGNOSIS! Really! I am not kidding. So naturally I am boiling over from three years of deceit, cover-ups and lies. If anyone goes to Broadway st to internal medicine you will not get a board certified doctor. They are all resident (learning) doctors with virtually NO experience. That is okay with me if you lay it out and be honest about it but more importantly that resident calls a meeting for suggestions, guidance, council from experienced board certified doctors and nurses. I am truly close to falling in a casket and get this whole thing out of my way. Last week as usual the nurses, doctors and staff never called me back regarding prescription refills. Im on a fairly large cocktail of pills. After I have been angry at them for so much they now retaliate by not refilling the medications I have to have. And never called me to say we dont want you as a patient and we are not refilling anything. At least I would know! I spoke with a nurse today and the dirt-bag staff has brought my case-file to the Board of Directors for ass-point community health hazard centers. So forget about any medications, reconciliations, positive action plans or anything. They keep billing CareSource (my Insurance) for everything collecting their money with little regard for the realities that they have participated in. After the fiasco they caused by not signing and completing one little simple standard normal form, they stand stiff and proud apologizing for nothing and continuing with their lies and cover-ups. This letter is only one part of the circus act with many more examples. Also be wary of this information: that they publish! They say they are federally subsidized so their belief is, they are all federal employees and hold themselves free of prosecution. They state (In Writing!) in order to bring any liability to anyone there you must prosecute the United States of America. Really, this isnt a joke. So lets say a doctor prescribes a pill for your condition and you die or get very sick, unfortunately. If you consult a law firm to force some monetary reward you cant win and you cant hold anyone there responsible without suing the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.UNBELIEVABLE!
Very unsatisfied with the service I was provided today at Axess Point. I had a appointment at 9:30 am. The expressway was closed and the detour took me in a circle so I had to come all the way down Wilbeth to get to Arlington. So I arrived at Axess Point at 9:41. I told the receptionist that the expressway was closed and the detour took me in a circle so this is way I was late so she went to the back to ask the dental cleaner if she would still take me but she refused to take me. I DID NOT APPRECIATE THIS ONE BIT BECAUSE IT WAS NOT MY FAULT I WAS LATE, I AM VERY UPSET AND I WILL TELL OTHERS ABOUT HOW AXESS POINT TREATS THERE PATIENTS. THIS IS BAD BUSSINESS, HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO KEEP CUSTOMERS HAPPY TREATING THEM IN THIS WAY? I will no longer attend axess point if I dont have to. I feel like because of the circumstance they could have still took me, after all I was only 10 minutes late do to the highway being closed. I will demand that the CEO get there workers in check because this is wrong!!!!!!!!!!! I will go to Angel Dental in the same plaza, they gave a an appointment!!!!!!!!
We are so thankful to Mrs. Heather Gunnoe ,one of the financial counselor at this area.,without her helped my mom didnt set her diagnostic mamo and her eye surgery..Once again, thank you Heather Gunnoe for your above and beyond service to our community ..God bless you always!

2022-08-15This is the rudest, most unprofessional place I’ve ever encountered!! They only call to remind of one appointment in the family and then are rude at check in! Asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold over 20 minutes and never connected to anyone. When we arrived on site the check-in lady was nasty and said she had heard about me. As someone who has worked in healthcare in the past, that comment was not only unnecessary, but should’ve never come out of her mouth!! The poor elderly gentleman in front of us was told he didn’t even have an appointment and he said that they had called to confirm it. They were just as rude to him. I felt worse for his situation as he stated he needed medication refilled.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and hope that they learn how better to run things! Definitely won’t return!!!!!

2022-04-19I didnt spend alot of time here as I had to go due to my regular dentist not being in at barberton. As I sat and waited I listened to the receptionists and they didnt seem very friendly and I saw them on their phones, which I found very unprofessional. But it seems anywhere you go these people spend more time on their phones than doing work, guess thats why no one ever answers a phone at the place they are employed. Just a bad practice to allow your receptionists on their personal phones during work hrs, unless they are havin an emergency.

2022-05-20Axesspointe is supposed to bill you on a sliding fee schedule. I qualify for a reduced rate because of my low income. My lab bills are supposed to be no more than ten dollars per visit. I constantly get billed from their Labcorp partner for the balance of what medicare considers my co-pay. This is in addition to my ten dollar payment to Axesspointe for the lab work. When i try to get it straightened out with Axesspointe they tell me they dont have anything to with labcorp billing and to call the lab. When I call the lab they say talk to Axesspointe. Nothing gets straightened out and because I have insurance, I get double billed. I wish Axesspointe managment would get this problem worked out. After all, I went there because they are a government subsidised program and were supposed to help low income people. All I get are billing headaches. Shame on you Axesspointe!

2022-01-31Genuinely just don’t go here. I’ve been going to other AxessPointe locations for years now and have never had an experience as poor as my first time at this location.Terrible service, bad attitudes, waiting over an hour for nothing but a flu shot???I rarely ever leave reviews, and even less often bad reviews. So, seriously, I couldn’t recommend this place any less. I could go on but to be honest my whole experience was a whole lot of Nothing.. I sat for 30+ minutes after a basic checkup waiting for a flu shot but instead just heard all the nurses laughing and talking in the hallway next to me for at least half the time.

2021-10-23Your normal hood medical facility limited service and dental services. Takes more than a month to get a dental appointment. No cosmetic dentistry. Routine care. For poor people. Low employee morale nobody is happy or smiles. Yes its ratchet but they eventually get the job done.
