As normal was unable to do the job as they sold me the wrong tools that were needed to do the job because their computers always tells them different and thats what they go with, not what the customer asks for. Gary said he would make it right if it wasnt and of course he wasnt there the day the mechanic went into make it right. So I returned all the parts and tools and went to ORielys. I will never go back to Auto Zone.
I bought break pads there a few years ago with a lifetime warranty. The breaks went bad so I went and got replacement pads. When I put them on one pad was cracked but had to put them on so I have breaks. I went back to the store a few days later to buy replacement pads so I could bring back the bad ones that I just bought. The manager ( I believe his name is John, an older man) told me that I dont have any on file. What? I just bought them plus the ones that I bought a few years ago. So there should be two sets on their computer. He told me that I couldnt bring back the bad ones that I just bought. I told him that was bull with all the money that I spend there. Im on SSI so no I dont spend thousands but for the little that I make I spend a lot. Plus I work on other peoples vehicles and get parts there. So when I said it was bull with the money I spend there the manager very rudely say I hear that all the time. Well stop screwing your customers over. I thought lifetime warranty meant lifetime. The manager was just so disrespectful to me from that point on. But I had to buy the breaks so I had to deal with it. From now on I will be using advance auto parts unless it is something that I bought that is under warranty. And if they wont honor that warranty I will go buy that part at advance. Very very unhappy to be treated this way by a manager.
Walked in to do a return and the manager there today didn’t even acknowledge us or ask to help he just looked at us and said “what” to which my boyfriend replied “i need to do a return” the so called “manager” was very rude to us the entire time and failed to help with our return. left very disappointed with his lack of personable care and rudeness towards us from the beginning.
Walked into Autozone today and asked the two workers if they put the wipers on our car if we buy them there. The lady said “not in the rain”.Awkward pause...Then the guy says “should have picked a drier day”. Great customer service!Isn’t that when we need our wipers, when it’s wet?! I should have made sure I let the wiper break when it was dry out.If they didn’t want to put the wiperson that’s fine. But what was the point of the rude comment?Funny thing about it, the guy who made the comment was John, the manager.
Professionally staffed. Acute knowledge of their parts and availability of same. I always find myself going to AutoZone before even considering another auto parts store. Only thing I can see to be improved upon is the the waiting in a two person line.I know at times things can really get busy and a wait is expected however, there are those that just need a quick in and out. Time is money for most and I believe it couldnt hurt to have someone minding the register, while others are being helped. I would gladly give a 5 Star for that.
Good customer service but I cant come in here without spending over half an hour because theyre so slow. They need a speed checkout or more employees. If you need oil, fluids, paint or cleaner, I recommend going to Walmart to save some money. A lot here is overpriced.
Guy at the register (who claims to have been the manger) was extremely rude to my boyfriend and his friend. Cussed at him, copped an attitude, etc simply because my boyfriend was trying to warranty out a part.I called to complain and got told to watch my mouth. Currently on the phone with corporate so this jackass loses his job. I can only hope!
Sometimes Ive really awesome experience here other times the clerk seems like he just wants to get me out of the way. Im somewhat mechanically savvy but Im not 100%. I think to work here you should be a little more knowledgeable than I am and some of them are definitely not
Went in early. 5 employees standing around talking. Not a single one greets me. I go look for my parts and cant find them so I start back toward the group and they scatter like a group of fish. I just walked out and went across the street to the other parts store and was treated great there. If you dont like your job find something else. Its so much easier to get parts online and avoid being treated like this.
Went in looking for glasspack muffler. After looking at the selection for a fewminutes and not finding what i wanted, one of the rather aloof employees accidentally walked past me. I asked him if that was all they had. Without breaking stride the portly bearded turd said yep and kept going. I turned around and asked him if they had any more in the back and he didnt reply. Im sure the walk to the front of the store had him out of breath , and he wasnt just ignoring me. From now on I will be ordering all of my parts online. If they cant be bothered to help me , I wont be bothered to spend my money there.
Great customer service skills, but not always enough manpower to deal with the flow of customers. Need something for your car, truck, motorcycle, lawn mower? This place probably has it. From telecommunication equipment (phone chargers, cords, dash holders, etc, to car cosmetics (fancy lights, sport striping, mirror danglers), to brakes, alternators, and engine parts...youll find it here.
Sorry Auto zone but when you charge $200 for a battery and then extra for the gasket sealer, kind of doesnt make sense, but its all about the money I guess. Especially when it was $70 less at Valvoline Oil Change down the street. I wish I could have waited for theirs to come in, but I needed my car right away
Ive always had a great experience at this AutoZone. The staff is always knowledgeable and willing to help me find the problem, and the last time I went I heard then recommend a customer gets the part he needed at a different store because it would be much cheaper there.
I want to send a TON of gratitude to Brian. He made my experience professional and personable at the same time. His customer service was above anything that I could have asked for or expected. Thank you for being an amazing human being Brian. You are appreciated.**** Car theft and break ins are at an all time high right now please protect your vehicle with a steering wheel lock.

2022-06-06Most of the time these guys know exactly what Im talking about and give me good advice how to fix things. And sometimes have made me aware of easier ways to fix things. This is my go-to store for auto parts. Unless of course I need an original part from the dealership

2021-10-26Gary was wonderful! I did my best to explain to him what I was looking for. I ended up telling him I could send a picture of the part I needed to replace. 2021-09-03I went in and ordered parts for my truck Thursday and was expecting to pick them up next week. To my surprise I get a phone call today...Friday...saying that they are in. Customer service was and is fantastic. Alex does a great job! Friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely return to this store for my auto needs.

2021-10-31I was having starting problems so I went to get battery tested they also tested my alternator and all was good he said. He told me he would never try to sell someone a battery or alternator as long as they read as good as mine did. I was very happy with them. Turned out to be my starter. After my son checked it out.

2021-10-21Yesterday I went into Auto Zone in Newark OH. The store was impressively clean. Zack T. was AMAZING! He checked my battery, sold me my new battery and installed it. He was super friendly, professional and respectful. There should be more Zack T.’s in this life. Highly recommend AutoZone for all my car’s needs. Thank you for my making my experience buying a car battery a pleasant one!

2021-08-03Everytime I go get a part from parts counter it is not the right part at least the last 4xs. Because of them giving me wrong part it ended up costing me a lot more money. They never apologized just exchanged for the right part. I had to go four times because I had to return something of course. One time they gave me 10% off whoopee. I swear good customer service is hard to find! I wont be going here again anytime soon!!
