They had the starter I needed in stock, but it took quite a while to be helped by the guy at the service counter. It is pretty typical to have to wait awhile here, theres usually only one register open even though there are 3 or 4 people working. But once he started looking up my part he was quick and friendly.
Decent service reasonable price
Service was exceptional! Preordered part as well as calling ahead for an instore part was ready when we got there. Had to make 3 trips to a competitor so Im making AutoZone on Coshocton Ave in Mount Vernon, OH my parts store while Im in town. Keep up the good work guys!
Need to work on customer service and please update the computer system so you are not asked if you have 4x4 for things like windshield wipers it makes your sales team seem ignorant
I just like AutoZone because you know if theres anything computer thats wrong with your car or whatever you can go up there and ask him and theyll bring the machine out and tell you whats wrong and I like how everything is pretty much like labeled and know where everything is dont have to wait forever
The folks that work here are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. This is number one choice for auto parts in Mount Vernon. The other competitive auto parts store in town are all okay but Auto Zone always adds a nice (and much appreciated) dose of encouragement with their good service.
I took my wifes car in to get a new battery. I dealt with Reno. He was very friendly and helpful. He installed the new battery for me. I was very happy with his excellent customer service.
I always get my parts from AutoZone if I can ,best prices and there employees are very helpful .they no there stuff.
I visited Auto Zone in Mount Vernon, Ohio once I realized my key battery was real needing changed. I had no idea how to get into it to change the battery . Mona and David worked together to resolve the problem not only did change the battery for me but cleaned 5 years of dirt build up. Thanks guys 😀
Service is incredibly bad and ALWAYS have lines yet see employees standing around talking. So went to Advance....same stuff, better service, no wait.
We just had the best experience with Shawn O. (assistant manager) at this location! We were having trouble finding the right wiper blade for our Subaru, and had already spent 45 minutes at a competitor’s store, when we stepped into the store. Shawn took a look and let us know he would most likely have to special order the driver’s side wiper because of the size :( But then he said he had another idea to try if we would trust him. And he found a work around for us! In true handyman style he thought outside the box and got us back on the road in 10 minutes. Thanks Shawn!!!

Just stopped by Auto Zone to have check engine light annalized. Tall dark haired young man waited on me told me he wasnt allowed to do this. He went and got the instrument and handed it to me and Rudely said he wasnt paying a $10,000 fine to do this. Went to Coshocton Auto Zone gentleman there grabbed the instrument went and checked and reset plus sold me the part to fix it...
Poor customer service guy that waited on me seem to be upset because he sold me the wrong part and he had to do his job and find the correct part.. Doubt I will go back

The management there is rude and some of them cuss in front of customers and treat customers unfairly after leaving there from employment. Will never go back

Terrible. Only 2 people working, phone was ringing off the hook and no one ever answered it. Then you finally get someone to wait on you and they dont know how to use the computer

2022-02-22AutoZone has pretty good service and I have been treated very kindly there :) A lot of times , AutoZone has the cheapest part prices and I get texted digital coupons too ,as well as After so many 20 dollar purchases, ( I think 5), you get a free 20 dollar gift card for AutoZone credit .

2021-09-09I went to look for a headlight lamp for my 2012 Silverado. I told the young girl at the counter what I needed and asked the price for 2 halogen bulbs. She said $32.00. I had looked on RockAuto.com before going in. I told her the price on RockAuto was $2.50 per bulb. Ill give you one guess what her reply was: Were not RockAuto. Obviously she had no customer service skills. I was so offended all I could do was turn around and walk out. I ordered the bulbs (standard ones) on RockAuto right there in the parking lot for $16.50 including shipping. Ill have to wait a few days, but well worth it. Never going back to that store or any others in that chain.

2020-07-27July 27, 2020 I needed a battery for my Equinox, and AAA did not have one on their service truck, so the AAA service person called Auto Zone in Mount Vernon, OH to find one. They had it in stock and when I went to get it, they were waiting for me and installed it, and gave me information regarding the calibration that takes place when I started my car. They were wonderful in their help and service. The manager was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I definitely will continue to give them my business!
