Had to walk my old car battery 2 miles to the store. Got a new one, and I started to walk back until Kodi, the manager, offered a ride. Excellent customer service.
They are always extremely helpful at this particular store.

Never had I been so staisfied in my dealings with Auto Zone in Amherst Ohio...they have always been helpful to me..I would highly recommend this place to anyone...they are 5 star plus. Kudos to Valerie who works there
Broke down on highway, coasted in to autozone in amherst ohio-- an employee (Ian F.) analyzed the problem located the part at another location. picked up part and Ian then went way above and beyond the call of duty. He went home after closing hours and came back with tools, crawled underneath my car and changed the knock sensor. cleared the code and away i went.. Ian deserves a promotion, to say the least. If i owned a business i would want Ian working for me.. lasting impressions that are good are rare these days--thanks again Ian

Fast and friendly service, the cashier grabbed my part off the shelf for me and cashed me out quick.
Had to drive to 5 different stores to get all of the parts I needed for a large project. All employees were very helpful trying to get the parts required for my active duty soldiers vehicle so that he can get to his duty station after being home on leave. The Oberlin store even applied a military discount on the parts without being asked. I appreciate everyones effort but come on, 5 stores for a $6.99 part.
Great Autozone, I was having problems with a leaky radiator hose on my motorhome. They let me go through their hoses, until I found what I needed. Even helped carry the antifreeze out the parking lot.

Garbage. The HEAD manager had no clue what a throttle was. I was completely baffled by this. How can you work at a part store and not know what a part or name is. Very incompetent and a waste of my time
Sad...showed up this AM.@ 07:45 only 1 employee working. She said EVERYONE else called off & she was left holding down the fort. Working the floor, phones & cash register, looking up info on computer and doing what I needed, checking my battery which meant leaving the store unattended. ..SAD
First and foremost I work for AutoZone and this is my personal opinion..but the Avon store has the best standard for customer service in the business.. Theyre Managers always go the extra mile.

Trying to figure out how the cashier lady misunderstood me when I got ujoints for My 2001 Chevy Silverado. She gave me ujoints for a 2007 Ford ranger... 🤔 will never visit this store again
Usually have what I need and if not they can have it the next day, prices are fair, employees are helpful and honest.
Came in to pick up and order and although they couldnt put the battery in themselves because of rules they have to follow they allowed me to use some tools so i could get on my way.

2022-01-17I would like to thank the young professional salesman at the Amherst, Ohio location that helped me change out the battery on my Truck. We ran into a little difficulties but He pressed on in 7 degree Weather. He was knowledgeable and persistent to get the job done. Please acknowledge this young Man with what ever your Company hands out. Im just sorry I never got his name.

2021-11-05I called regarding my 2017 Pacifica this morning, thinking that the battery was my issue. I spoke to Cody who was super helpful and confirmed that they had my correct one in stock. I arrived at the store 10 mins later, and was greeted by Ian who quickly grabbed the battery tester, and then installed my new battery. I was on my way with the van good as new in less time than it wouldve taken me to drive to the dealership in Sandusky. This Autozone is clean, friendly, and super super helpful!!

2021-08-13I was looking for spark plugs for an old tractor. They didnt have them in stock but was able to order them after searching through a catalog. They had them the next day. Very helpful and courteous.

2021-11-12I went to auto zone on November 12, 2021 for new head lights and Christina installed my lights for me because the gentlemen who was assisting me couldn’t get his hand in to change lights. Christina was able to slide her hand in tight spot to change head lights.Christina then noticed my oil was leaking and she took time to check why oil leaking. Christina then noticed my oil plug was busted. Christina took the time and hard effort to place the new oil plug in. Christina went far beyond. Thank you Auto Zone for hiring such an amazing, and hard working LADY!! 😊Maria11-12-21
