Ordered car via Ford online but selected this dealership because of past experience. I purchased my prior car from this dealer. Ive been back a few times over the years for warranty and other normal repairs. Their service desk is easy to work with and mechanics do professional work. Appreciate them contacting me a few days prior arrival of the new car and sales persons time covering car operation and features.
During this crazy time within the car market AutoNation Ford Westlake still manages to still provide its customers with a verity of inventory to choose from and quality service. I have worked with Janet Zanko the past few years and I’ve been very satisfied with my purchases each time. Service windows have been a little tight and longer delays have been occurring but I guess that’s the nature of the market right now. I recommend this location to anyone in the area if you’re looking for a car.
We worked with Frankie Assad. Contacted him on the web page and set up a test drive for the vehicle were interested in driving. Went for a test drive and loved the car. Decided to buy and we were all done with the paperwork and purchase and we were driving away in less than 2 hours. The whole process was stress free and easy. No sales pressure from anyone. Very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Auto Nation and Frankie Assad.
AutoNation Ford Westlake did everything right for us! We ordered a Bronco Sport, which was a very easy process, and we were waiting for that to be built. My wife drove by the dealership and saw another Bronco Sport that she liked and they switched us over seamlessly ! Denise, our salesperson, was awesome and handled all of our needs for both transactions. She was very attentive and knowledgeable! Dean, the general manager handled our trade in and behind the scenes papers. I highly recommend Denise and Dean and AutoNation Ford Westlake!
This is a great place to get a car. I’ve purchased my last 2 Ford cars from this place and haven’t regretted it. They work really hard to get you a great price. I also do not have any complaints about getting my car maintained here. Everyone is very nice and they take care of you quickly.
All the guys at Auto Nation were amazing. Nate from FinanceHarry Financial Manager and Feras the Sale Associate. Auto Nation made buying a vehicle a breeze and hassle free. They all were so friendly and very nice. Mr. Harry made me laugh, which was great when purchasing a vehicle he made it not stressful. I would recommend Auto Nation Westlake to all my family and friends. My daughter will be going there soon to make a purchase.
Absolutely a great experience,The staff was very knowledgeable and was very prompt in assisting me with my new purchase. My salesman was great as well as the sales manager who got me the best financing for my situation. Once again it was a great experience and I would highly recommend shopping at AutoNation Ford in Westlake
Complete waste of a Saturday. I called to verify a 2018 f150 was available. Asked if the truck was in good condition or if it needed anything, which it had 40k on it so it shouldnt have. Was told that it was a sharp truck and passed full inspection. I wanted to make side of this because I was driving from about 100 miles away with my wife and son. Arrived and everyone in the dealership was polite, but thats where my good experience ended. The truck looked like it had been ran through a cheese grater. The front bumper and fascia was all chewed up, scratches all the way down the driver side, a few more on the passenger side, and the tailgate had a huge gouge and crease in it. I mentioned everything I saw to the salesman and the response was, well its a used truck what will you be using it for? It doesnt matter what Im going to be using it for. It was priced as if it were in good condition and I was told as such. I refused to even drive it, packed my family back up, and left. 5 minutes of disappointment after making a day trip with gas at $5. I know the market is hot, but I wont spend good money on what I considered to be junk. Yes Im just one potential customer, but I wont return for even the best of deals
I did a KBB instant cash offer and was quoted $24,200 for my 2019 Honda Civic Si lease. John Conrad reached out and asked me to come in the next morning.I came in the next morning and spent a couple hours with him and waited for them to give me an offer. They came back at $24,000 and said theyd cut me a check for the remaining equity. I ended up getting around $8600 in the form of a check for a car that I drove around for 3 years. I honestly couldnt be any happier.John was very helpful and would recommend him to anyone. I asked him how long everything should take, so I could figure out a ride home and he offered to drive me home once it was done. Would highly recommend!
I scheduled an appointment to see a vehicle that was in stock. The customer service representative online verified that the vehicle was in stock. I showed up at my appointment time and the vehicle was not in stock. I then got a message from customer service asking if I still wanted to have my trade-in evaluated...to then not have a car to drive home in?I understand that vehicles are currently few and far between. The customer service rep online verified this exact vehicle was in stock, however.
Went in for an oil change and a tire plug. Was told that I had 5 nails in my tires and needed brakes and rotors replaced. I knew this was false so I took my car to another shop who confirmed that brakes are in good shape and there was only one tire plug needed. Do not use their service department, they are unethical.
The work was satisfactory.I had an issue with the bill. When I brought the truck in I was quoted around $500 forAn oil changeA transmission fluid changeReplacement of a sensor in the evaporative emissions controlsRe-attachment of the catalytic converter heat shieldAfter you folks had looked at the truck, you said it needed new struts and your rep said the total would be around $1,300.I was billed $1,900. When I talked to your rep she apologized, telling me that the $1,300 was just for the struts.A little more clarity would have helped - I may have decided to have the struts done elsewhere had I known that your charge was $1,300.
I ordered a vehicle through this dealership and although it took a few months to get the vehicle, it was worth the wait. All of the staff we worked with at AutoNation were nice, friendly, and accomodating. The process for ordering, financing and receiving the car was easy!
Brought my vehicle in for a defective cosmetic part. At first communication was great. Was told it would be ready next day. Received a call the part is delayed so it will be another day, was glad they communicated. After 3 days of no communication I call to check the status and was told “Your advisor isn’t in today.” I ask the status and was told they didn’t know as the advisor wasn’t in. Ok, I wasn’t asking to speak with him, I was asking about my vehicle. I tell them I’ll pick up my vehicle and bring it back when the part comes in (part is cosmetic). When I go to pick up they cannot locate the key to my vehicle and begin calling the advisor at home. I had my spare key with me so used that. This was 9 days ago and I have heard nothing on where my key is or if the part has even come in.2 stars
Had a recall performed on my 2016 Flex. They said Ford would cover a rear end alignment but if I wanted the front adjustment I would have to pay for it...??? Makes no sense because when adjustments and parts are changed in the back, that directly affects the front. Now my cars alignment is off and drives worse than when I brought it in for the recall. Once again, Ford trying to get by with as little work as possible. Why should I have to pay for FORDS defective product...it was no fault of mine. The dealer should have went to bat with Ford for its customer and aligned my car properly.
Recently just bought My new Maverick from Autonation Westlake. Will Ahonen and the whole sales team were great. They got me in and out of there quickly and efficiently with no pressure. This is my second car from them and definitely wont be my last. Highly recommend them. Great dealership. 👍
The reason I went to AutoNation Ford on center ridge and Craig is because I had a problem with something draining my battery. It took them no time at all to diagnose it and was covered under my warranty plan. Everyone there was exceptionally helpful and understanding and help me get need done when needed to be done. They made the repair needed to leave it sit overnight took me home and pick me up and clean the car. Couldnt be more happy with the people there. Thanks again AutoNation.p
Email sent 5/20/2022;To: AutoNation TeamWanted to say, our visit today was definitely worth the drive. The team at AutoNation was great, every single one of them. Please extend my wife and Is appreciation to the entire AutoNation team for a great car buying experience.Shane,
They offered me $500 more just to get me to come in, then offered the same amount that the dealer i bought it from was going to give me and they were going to pick the car up. i had to pay for an uber and it took two hours when i was told it wouldnt even take 1 hour. literally just sold it to them so id be rid of the whole headache. enjoy my challenger i guess. i would never recommend this business to anyone they lie about prices
Let the hounding begin. Dont give these guys your phone number.Tried to schedule a test-drive from Fords inventory search. Did that at 7:53am (it sends an email).Got a phone call and an email at 9:16am.Each message indicated the vehicle wasnt available and how I can build and price one online and MAYBE get it in the fall...Not even 2 hours later 11:09am same phone number calling again. I answer and the guy Richard is acting like its the first time he contacted me from my inquiry a couple days ago. It was 3 hours ago. You left two messages.Let people at work have a minute to get back to you for the vehicle that doesnt exist...AutoNation Ford does not sound with it.
Bob was the Rep that helped me into me 2018 ford eco sport , Bob was so amazing and very patient with me and my request also understanding. Harry was very sweet and has all the jokes to take your stress jitters away and I forgot the gentleman name ahead of used car sales but he was as well amazing he made sure while my car that I picked out needed to be serviced on before I drove off with it, he put me in a courtesy car (2014 Ford Flex) for the time being so I can still get to work. This is an AMAZING team. Thank you guys so much xoxoxo
I have always had great experiences with Auto Nation Ford in Westlake, OH. They work differently than most other dealerships when it comes to not pressuring their customers, giving them time to weigh out their options and they also are not going to gauge you for extra money. I worked with Janet Zanko as my rep and she is outstanding. I appreciate the service as always. Thanks again!
Hans worked with me for months while I waited for my pre-ordered Ford Bronco, always patient with my weekly emails and calls asking what the status was. When it finally arrived, both Hans and Richard made my buying experience very easy and straightforward. Richard even kept the gawkers away from my Bronco while I was purchasing it. Thanks guys! Excellent experience, the Bronco is great.
I brought my vehicle in for service for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. I had been hearing and feeling a thumping noise when traveling at higher speeds. I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I told the mechanic about it, but he couldn’t find anything. He suggested taking a test drive together on the highway. We did, and he was able to find the problem, which were loose bolts on a panel below the driver’s side. I also wanted to give a shout out to Ashley at the service desk. She was very friendly and helpful.
We had our 2014 Focus serviced at another dealer twice previously and they could not find a problem or tell us why the battery kept going dead.It took only one trip to Auto Nation in Westlake to find the problem. Ashley explained the problem clearly and got the car back to us quickly! Ill definitely go back.
I first called to setup an appointment with Ashley in May. I did get the appointment scheduled, but left voicemails for Ashley that were never returned. On the day of the appointment, I never even met Ashley and was helped by another associate (who was very helpful). I was told I would receive a call once parts were ordered / received so I can schedule another appointment. No call for a week. So I call you guys back, leave a voicemail for Ashley again, and still no dice. Ive been in contact with you all for over 2 months and have not once received a call from anyone at the office. I know that in todays climate, there are labor shortages and part shortages etc, so Im trying my best to be understanding, but at this point, I still have not even spoken to my supposedly assigned service agent. Thats laughably bad service.
With the current shortage, my intention was to only test drive a few options and order a new vehicle. We have been going to this dealership for over 25 years, and have purchased at least 15 vehicles from the greatest sales people I know. On May 31, I came in super late, Denise Kucinich, my sales person had a few vehicles she wanted me to look at, and her first recommendation, was the best. Not only was her recommendation spot on, but her and the entire Ford team stayed super late to close the deal, gather paperwork and have us in our way. I love coming here and always recommend Autonation Westlake, and Denise Kucinich.
Ashley called to tell us car was ready and gave us a price. Went to pick up car and was charged over 100.00 more than what Ashley told us. Cashiers quote well there is tax , we were very aware tax would be included in this service. I said tax couldn’t be over 100 on the price and sure enough tax wasn’t even close .
The MOST enjoyable time I have ever had purchasing a car! Brett McCloskey, the salesman, and Harry the finance guy, Dan, the manager, treated us as if we were the only customers in the store. I will never buy another car from any other dealer and I will let all my family and friends know about Autonation, Westlake.
This is where I purchased my first car, I can tell you that they made me feel very comfortable and did not once make me feel pushed or rushed in any decisions to purchase a vehicle. I love my little Ford Focus! And the service center is great, very fast and up front with all costs.
I had a great buying experience at Auto Nation! My sales associate was David Rusnak. David, was knowledgeable about the vehicle I bought. He took a nice long test drive and let me get a real feel for the vehicle. I did not feel pressured in anyway. As we negotiated through the buying process I even paused. David and the financial team were patient With my decsion to sleep on my decsion.I bought the car the next day. Just a great experience working with the AutoNation Ford team. I highly recommend them for your next vehicle.
I had a 9 a.m. service appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, new wiper blades and replace a headlight. I arrived at 845 for the 9 a.m. appointment and waited to get this done. I figured the appointment shouldnt take anymore than an hour. Oil change, tire rotation, and new wiper blades and I didnt get my car back until just after 11 a.m. Over 2 hours I waited for a scheduled appointment to get an oil change, tire rotation and new wiper blades. And when the service writer came to get me, she informed me that they didnt have any headlight bulbs in stock. Unbelievable. Also, when my car was there, during the multi-point inspection, I was told I needed new rear brake pads and rotors, 2 rear upper and 1 lower control arms, and a new water pump. $5000 worth of repairs. I had another scheduled service appointment with Autonation to take care of a recall notice the following week. I was so disgusted with waiting over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation I scheduled the recall repair with another Ford dealership. During the service appointment at the new dealership for my recall, they also did the same multi-point insepction on my vehicle that Autonation did. I was told I needed new brakes and rotors, and a rear upper control arm. About $1000 to repair. They made no mention of the water pump or any of the other control arms needing replaced. I will never go back to Autonation Ford in Westlake for service on my vehicle again.
Ok i came in here with my 2017 ford fusion platinum wanting to fix my adaptive cruise control and my parking sensor, well they did fix my parking sensor but did a half way job by not painting the sensor to color match my car no big deal, but for my adaptive cruise control which they already charged me $388 for both the sensor and the adaptive cruise control, they keep telling me that they fixed that also, but the car keep saying sensor blocked I keep bringing I back saying its still not fixed they guy keep telling me its fixed, long story short they have me test drive with a mechanic, which he confirmed that it wasnt fixed, they took the car to the back, about 30min later the guy came to me with a bill of $2160 dollars that my adaptive cruise control is broken. Took the car home did some Google research of where my sensor is checked under the car coming to find out that the sensor was just blocked by some cardboard how it got there I dont know, which also make perfect sense that they never checked the car at all but was for sure I need a new sensor for $2160 and most likely a new bumper God only knows how much they charge for that.Update; i did call the number provided alot of times left voicemail and still no response
This was one of the worst experiences I have had. Dealership service personnel were not nice and did not tell me I could drive right in when I arrived So I walked in in a hard rain and then was barked at to drive in.Wiper fluid fill guy slammed down my hood harder than I have ever seenWent in for two keys to be programmed. Supposed to take 15 minutes Took over an hour and 15 minutes. Nothing to stir coffee with. Only had sugar and no cream and a lady was attending to the coffee station and went over and cleaned things up but did not put out any creamer or stir sticksWent over to ask why it was taking so long and the service lady said I am not your service advisor I will tell her to give you an update. She never came over I got up again and that’s when the tech came out and said he could only program one key Supposed to be 89 dollars. With shop fees and tax it was like 119.When I got home I realized they when when he programmed the keys he ruined the programming on the remotes and did not reprogram them. So all three remotes were not working I had to reprogram myselfThere wax a note on the dash to review the work and to call the general manager directly if upset. I have callex the GM twice The day after the abomination and Agee days ago again. No response to very detailed messages asking for a call backUnless he’s on vacation or I’ll I cannot fathom why I have not been called back. If either of those things is happening I would think he would have a message indicating something and someone else to call. Truly patheticOh. I bought my first new truck from these folks in 2000 or 2001. They had no record of my purchase and did not have my name in their recordsExtremely disappointed
They do the work on your vehicle as fast as possible, even offer rides to those who may have to wait longer than usual. They have tv and clean sitting areas, with especially clean bathrooms. Two vending machines with snacks and pop, plus more vending at the other sales building. Charging for your vehicles if they need it. Friendly staff.
My father, a retired Ford employee of 20 plus years went to the dealer today to purchase. Mach E GT the dealer has in order and is being transported and currently in Kansas on a railcar. Put down a deposit, salesman knew he was a Ford retiree using the employee Z plan and accepted the deposit. After the general manager learned of the sale my father received a call that they will not honor A/Z plan they want to raise the price to at least $5k over MSRP. Dishonest, don’t appreciate Ford employees apparently and out to over charge. Avoid this dealership. Others in the area have no issue honoring this, I personally had no issue just this past December even though I am sure the dealer could have sold the vehicle for more if they held it. If I could give the a zero I would.
I won’t give my business to any establishment that disregards the neighborhood where it operates. Apparently this dealer holds some kind of car show where the cars are racing down Center Ridge through a residential area for hours. No warning to nearby residents. LOTS of deer, pets and children in the neighborhood. Inconsiderate and highly dangerous. Whose idea was that?
Bought a 17 Fusion. Had what I thought to be wind noise the first day or two. Was back twice with rude service said they heard the noise and couldnt do anything about it. Took it to Liberty Ford Vermilion, they are so polite and professional found the noise in 2 hours and was rectified. Stay away from Westlake AutoNation!
Service appointment. Communication was poor, charges were not clearly explained, and the follow-up was nonexistent despite calling on multiple occasions and leaving a voicemail with the service manger. Was a customer for years - truly surprised by may last visit (which may be just that, my last).
Fast, friendly and a great price...Truck broke after 5,500 miles so long story short the purchase at the dealership was good. If your (built tough ford) breaks dont expect this dealership to fix it. Worst service department I have ever dealt with. You have been warned.
Customer service was terrible. Had vehicle at 7am no phone call until 2pm. Kept vehicle to try to replicate locking issue. I never received a call. I called at 3pm. Said I could pick up car. No information was given to me regarding issues. Last, I cannot believe a seal would cost $1,500 to fix.
Brought car in for 50,000 miles service and set of new tires. Tires I wanted were not in stock but service tech Barry offered to order them for me. I asked what was in stock that were close to my price range. I decided to buy what was in stock. I was offered a courtesy ride to and from my home while work was completed but I opted to stay and wait. All the work was done quickly. Barry went over the results of the multi point inspection and what service might be needed next time I bring in my SUV. Excellent experience. Would recommend to friends and family.
Customer service was outstanding! From the first phone call until the end. My agent was Danny and he was very patient, pleasant, thorough and professional. Harry was also very professional and resourceful and these guys work with you to fit your needs WITHOUT pressure on any level. They make you feel comfortable, give you options and work with your budget. The dealership is very spacious and clean ...even the bathrooms look hotel lovely! HIGHLY RECOMMEND just stop by and have coffee .this team is awesome!
$139 to diagnose the problem. Whatever happened to the days of free estimates? I guess theyre gone for good. I would understand if it required extensive dis-assembly and re-assembly but this didnt require that. They looked at the radiator hoses and decided we needed 4 new ones and a new water output, whatever that is. The speed at which the diagnosis was reached makes it pretty clear they didnt do much more than look. Then they estimated nearly $1,000 for the repairs. All this for a relatively minor coolant leak. Weve been adding a cup or 2 of coolant every couple of weeks to top off the reservoir. Wont be going back with either of my Fords.
I was really happy with Autonation. I had made an appointment with AmarTo see a Ford focus. And instead of running my credit like every other dealership wanted to he’s like let’s go test out the car first. I really appreciated that by itself. Second the car wasn’t detailed and he informed me beforehand unlike other dealerships that literally showed me cars with trash piled in it that you couldn’t even get in the car. By the time I got my car it was detailed beautiful runs great and I am in love with my little blueberry.
Ive bought 3 cars from Westlake and 2 from Amherst and yesterday was by far the worst experience yet.I had 2 new tires installed on a 2020 Ranger, felt like it was an inconvenience totally.I pay for it and go to the front building for an appointment that was a joke they never got around to me and leave. Realize about a mile down the road I should look for my spare. They just left it in the bed of my truck, never reinstalled it. Thanks for that, you made my next time Im looking for a car much easier.
During the purchase process, they ran a hard credit check 9 times while checking for the best loan. My credit took a huge hit because of this and Ive never had a dealership do that in any other car buying experience. The truck I purchased was not detailed and the tank was nearly empty. The people are nice and their trade in offers are fair but their used car prices are higher than others. I would not recommend them.
AutoNation Ford Westlake is not looking out for their customers or the Ford brand. I waiting 1 day shy of 7 months for my truck to be delivered. Upon ordering the truck the dealer said they would give me all rebate and incentives that I qualified for at time of vehicle delivery. When the truck came the dealer refused to honor my X-plan discount. He said he would give me added value for my trade to make up for it but he didnt do that either. They also tried to trick me into a high interest rate even though I have perfect credit.I have another reservation for a truck order and they told me they will be charging $10,000 above msrp for that order. I am changing the reservation to another dealership.
Easy scheduling and service. Even when I couldnt figure out how to use my FordPass Rewards to pay for my service through the app, the advisor was quick to note that I could use them to cover my service and she could take care of it on her end. They ran on-time with appoints and had my Explorer done (service and TSB) well within the estimated time of completion.
All of the staff were friendly. Amar and DJ were wonderful. Detailers do an excellent job. And the Finance office doesnt try to screw you. As far as I can tell, all the use cars on their lot are high quality. No need to negotiate the price of the car youre buying, theyre already nearly the lowest. Heres the But; make sure you know what your trade in is worth; check KBB, NADA, Carmax, and Carvana. Shop for warranty prices before you go. Autonation will get you very good prices for both, but only if you demand them with references.
David and Dean were great to deal with. They were honest and upfront. They both did a wonderful job keeping me up to date on the status of my vehicle purchase and got me a great deal. I wouldn’t hesitate to make the 4 hour drive from WV again just to purchase from David. He made the process so easy.
The team at AutoNation Ford in Westlake, Ohio has always taken great care of me and my vehicle. I am a long time customer. There is a reason why I drive all the way across town for my vehicle needs, when there is a Ford dealer just down the street from my house. I appreciate my team at AutoNation in Westlake, Ohio.
Thank you for the great service. I brought in my 2000 F350 for maintenance and service and was greeted upon arrival warmly by my customer service rep - Brad - who had my trucks history pulled up. The service was performed effectively and efficiently with no surprises! Love that. Thanks again.
Used Kelly Blue Book to get a cash offer on my 2015 Ford Focus and was contacted by this dealership. They had a brand new 21’ Cactus Gray Ford Ranger on their website that I wanted to test drive so I made an appointment. I was met by Armando as soon as I walked in. Armando was very helpful and very easy to speak to. He did not pressure me into anything while I was there, and made the entire purchase experience enjoyable. Armando also provided me with all the information I needed in regards to trading my car in and purchasing a new one. This was the first time I purchased a brand new car on my own, and he made it super simple. They also provide carfax reports for every vehicle on their lot, without making you ask for it first. I would absolutely recommend Armando and this dealership to anyone. I will definitely return there for all my future car needs.- Eldin B.
Merry Christmas AutoNation Ford. Youve become my neighborhood friend in need and deed. First time my tire needed fixing and second time the low pressure indicator was a false alarm. And (dont let the boss see this) both times, no charge. Now thats a good neighbor.Thank you, Jim Jenkins
Brought an old conversion van in for service that had been sitting a while and asked them to inspect the vehicle and determine what was needed to keep it roadworthy. They took the time to look at everything, then provided a list of issues that helped me determine if it was worth the money to try and keep the van usable. Not being a car guy I told them I was counting on them to give me an honest assessment of the vehicle. They did that - and provided me with their professional opinion as to whether or not it was worth proceeding with repairs. In this case, it was not worth the pending cost, and they were very forthright in telling me that. At no time did anyone try to convince me that the repairs were in my best interest. Finally, when I asked about the cost of the thorough inspection, I was told dont worry about it, just come pick it up. I dont often write reviews ( I believe this is the 3rd or 4th of done in my life!), but when the level of service exceeds expectations by this amount it warrants one. My experience with AutoNation Ford was excellent. They may not tell you what you hope to hear, but honesty can be good news or bad news. In my situation honesty was bad news. But it was the truth. And thats what we hope for anytime we deal with a business.
Had an incident with car which made driving a safety issue. Auto Nation Ford took my car in a very short notice and had the repairs completed the next day. I have been a long time customer of the dealership and service center. Great to know they appreciate my loyalty.
I drove up to Ohio to visit my family in my Ford Fusion. I was experiencing some trouble as I drove up, and it started getting worse while I was in Ohio. I called AutoNation Ford Westlake to see if they could take a look at my car and find out what was wrong before I had to travel back home. They immediately had me bring my car in and were able to find the problem and fix it that same day. Barry, the Service Manager, was friendly, professional and all around helpful with me. He kept me informed about what was found and the options to fix the problem. I would definitely recommend their service department to anyone needing their car serviced or repaired. I’m so very grateful for all their work and help. I arrived safely back to my destination with no problem!
Sales and finance is very professional. Been emailing and calling for a week now on answers for what I need to do to finish everything for the car I was already approved for or would put money on it to hold it for another week but seeing as they cant answer the phones, return calls or emails. Not sure how Im gonna finish the process for the car since they cant give me any type of answer or a call back. Ontop of the lady who answered the phone didnt have it on hold yet said in a nice tone. Someone already calling to speak to the manager so how much more professional can they get is my question?
Dropped our truck off for a totally unexpected repair on a Friday about 1 pm. Figured it would take the service center until Monday or Tuesday to get the parts in and to get it finished. Literally 4 hours later they called and said it was done! They worked hard to get the parts in right away and the super nice mechanic stayed a bit late to finish it so we would not be without our truck for the weekend. Will definitely recommend this place and will continue to go back. THANK YOU Ford in Westlake!!
Recently my wife and I decided to see if any dealer would be interested in purchasing our vehicles. We have two leases with the same manufacturer. We were contacted by Autonation Ford, spoke with a representative about my wife’s vehicle and they gave us a fair offer for the car. Brought it up, after waiting a few days to get the paperwork in order we signed the vehicle over and was a fairly seamless process. No more than 3 weeks later I started doing the same research for my vehicle, again spoke with the same representative at Autonation Ford and it seemed we were going to have another easy seamless process. Except it wasn’t, after a few days I wasn’t receiving phone calls back, finger pointing to the manufacturer saying they won’t release the correct information. And requiring me to be proactive and try to call just to get an update. At the end what I was told was that they couldn’t get the information needed in order to complete the transaction. This would be more believable if I hadn’t done the EXACT same process with my wife’s vehicle (same brand and leasing company) less than a month ago. At the end of the day it’s disappointing that such a good process was followed by this and leave such a poor experience as my last transaction with them. I will say everyone was very polite and courteous in all my interactions, but the end result was disappointing.
Terrible service experience. We had a cracked rim issue over the weekend and brought it in for them to fix on Monday. They said they checked the wheel, but could not find the problem and sent us away. Not believing my wife. We had to bring it back later in the day and lo and behold they found a major crack in the rim when I pressed them to check it again. Gave some BS reason for not finding it earlier, but clearly did not look thoroughly enough and put our safety as risk. And had an insurance payment issue when we settled up because one department did not talk to the other.
Ford Autonation of Westlake has 5 stars from me all around! My truck had caught on fire and took a while to get parts in they did everything they could to get my truck fixed right away! Jamie the mechanic went over everything they fixed with me even pulled it up on the lift. Barry and Mellisa did an amazing job on keeping me up to date with everything! Better then my insurance company did! Barry and Melissa were very accommodating with me! I am very pleased with their customer service! If you are looking to get your vehicle fixed somewhere. This is the place to go! You are definitely not treated as a number you are treated like a Ford family! I will definitely be back with any problems I encounter with my truck! Great place thank you!
Service department needs work, went in for oil change, splash guard was never put back on. Went back to find out why, said it was destroyed and unusable. When only one corner was zipped tied up because it was torn. Never let me know at day of Service. And my abs and traction control lights where on. The abs speed sensors needed replaced. But they rather wait on a out of stock wheel bearing instead. Where they could of just changed the sensors. And still waiting for my splash guard replacement, that Brad was supposed to order. Not holding my breath, since he never calls customers back.
They didnt have very many cars to choose from. A family member resently leased a car for here and the sales woman didnt know much about the car or the features of the car they leased out to her. If your looking for a place to lease out cars this isnt the place for you. They do have used cars but, the prices are very high.
I made an appointment for “the works” which is oil change, tire rotation and fluids checked. They check over everything. My appointment was at 12:30, I was out before 1:30. Waiting area is comfortable and clean. People are Very nice there. I have bought my last 3 cars there !John Lance Autonation gets an A+from me !!!
Bait and switch tactics. Show vehicles not even at the store as in transit even though theyre already sold. Poor service in the service department. I think Id rather buy from the shady warehouse with no sign down the street. At least there theyre not dressing it up as a lie.
From start to finish I had a great experience, everyone was very nice. I first dropped my Fusion off for an oil change, and went to the show room to discuss my lease end options. That turned into getting a new car, a Bronco Sport! Every person that I talked with that day, between sales and financial, was knowledgeable and genuine. I didnt get the sense of this is just another sale. They answered my questions and concerns. They really worked with me, understood what I wanted, and made it happen! Always a great experience at Autonation Ford Westlake.
My experience at AutoNation was amazing. My salesman William Ahonen was honest and helpful. He was up front with the price of the car and helped me get a better interest rate than I had been preapproved for. They didnt try to sell me a more expensive car or try to get me to purchase extra warranty coverage. I would 100% recommend this place and will be returning the next time I need a car.
Proceed with caution, scam likely.I was interested in an Edge I had found online for a reasonable price. After a few days of back and fourth via email with Robert (goes by Adam) I made the decision to make the 2.5 hour trip to this dealer to look a the car.Upon arrival youll get the typical give me your drivers license well make a copy and here are the keys go test drive it. Obviously, most people will be excited and happy to be in a car theyve been interested in buying, so, after youre done with your test drive you might be in a state of bliss and joy and not pay attention to your paperwork.I happened to get the Appearance Protection warranty tagged onto the car I was interested in. After asking about it I was told it was something that every car comes with and there is nothing that can be done about it, its a must purchase. Now Im already ticked off since this was something that could have been told to me before I made the trip, but I digress. After reading the fine print all 3 of their extra warranties (Appearance, Tire/Rim, Mechanical) all 3 clearly state that theyre OPTIONAL! After I pointed this out Adam he went away only to come back and double down on the lie, no apology, no removal of the scam warranty price addition but instead I was told that its something thats already been purchased and paid for by the dealership hence I must purchase and pay for it.I dont know about you, but, just because you purchase something doesnt mean I have to pay it. Thats on you, thats your decision, Im not willing to pay for the things youre purchasing nor do you have the right to simply assume your customers want extras before asking them.Make sure youre being very clear and ask very detailed questions, even go as far as asking things to be emailed to you before going here. Theyll try to scam you with their warranties, dont fall for it.
The receptionist that I spoke to was quite possibly the nastiest person I could have expected to talk to. She did not give her name, and I now know why. She was not nice to her coworker that she had to ask a question to. This was 12/28/21 at 5:30pm. Might want to look into getting new/better/more respectful staff. Will not be back.
Frankie did the paper work incorrectly on Saturday which required me to make TWO trips to the Title Bureau and cost me an additional $33. The vehicle acquisition manager came over and said he was new and sorry it happened to me. In doing the final paperwork on Monday, Frankie made another mistake which the vehicle acquisition manager caught. I asked him to check all of Frankies work since he made mistakes which cost me time and money. He laughed and said he is new. He told me If you cant forgive somebody for being new, what can you forgive them for? I said Im glad you think costing me time and money is funny. He said if I was going to be difficult he would cancel the sale I could go start over somewhere else. Adding He didnt have to buy any car at any price . I dont believe expressing displeasure with an incompetent employee (3 paperwork errors in two days), and sharing what it cost me in time and actual dollars is BEING DIFFICULT. I am still in shock by the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the MANAGER.
Tried to buy a car here, and nobody came out to talk to my wife and I walked around for about 20 minutes New the car I wanted from internet search found it on the lot.waited by it too and finally left was hoping to give a good review here and the magazine I work for, but am unable to. As we left sales people were just standing around talking to each other in the building. Im not saying dont go here , Im saying good luck. Hope your experience is better than mine. Gave 2 Star because lot look nice and clean. But all I can say
I set my appointment up over the phone. While calling in I was dropped 2-3 times and had to redial or I was passed from department to department to check on a recall with my car. Everything else went well and everyone was nice. The service was prompt and they kept me informed and didnt try to push unneeded changes on me.
I purchased a 2018 Ford Edge from Autonation Westlake Ford in August 2020. At the time I also purchased a Ford maintenance plan. I had no issues at the time of sale. The first maintenance appointment came and went without a hitch. At the second maintenance appointment (Apr/June 2021) I was told I would need to pay for the basic maintenance that had occurred. When I indicated I had a prepaid maintenance plan they said it had expired in March of 2021. Their finance office had put the start date of the maintenance plan as the date of original sale and not the date that I had purchased. The service office was able to waive the charge and assured me it would be taken care of.When I called the office today to try and figure out what was going on and schedule my 45,000 mile maintenance, I was in this order: Hung up on, transferred, put on hold, transferred again to a line that was never answered and then picked back up by reception, and then as I was explaining the situation, I was cut off via transfer again to a line that again rang and was never picked up.If you dont plan on ever interacting with this dealer post purchase, they are probably a great dealer. But if you planning on buy here, service here I would avoid them like the plague.
I went to Auto Nation Westlake to get my last three vehicles. Amazing staff, they make the whole car buying experience painless and completely transparent. I worked with Danny Coffey on my last two cars and can’t say enough good things about him. If you need a car, go see Danny at Auto Nation in Westlake
Service staff was friendly and accommodating. Took vehicle in for an oil change. After service I drove my vehicle home and the low tire pressure light came on. No big deal I have an air compressor at home but it makes you wonder what else are they skipping on your “multi point inspection”
Avoid this place! Paid 30k for a used truck and get can’t anyone to return my call after they said they would replace 2 tires and fix the a/c condenser. They’ll sell you a vehicle and straight up abandon you with it. Armando was great but the service dept is very lack luster. Dealt with the old service manager to no end only to get a run around. Now I’ve left multiple voicemails with the new service manager and haven’t heard a wink from him.
Had a wonderful experience with Vince at Autonation Ford Westlake! Despite a snowstorm and changing schedule, he was very kind in accommodating all of my needs to make sure I was getting what I was looking for in a car. He walked me through the cars features, made sure I understood the process, and was very helpful with keeping me in the loop about changes in pick up because of a nasty storm. Very happy with my quick and easy experience here, I feel like I received a great price for a great car, and Vince provided excellent customer service. Also, the receptionist was very kind and kept me in the loop when they were running behind the morning I was planning on taking my test drive. Would definitely recommend working with Vince!
When it comes to service, there is no place like AutoNation Westlake. We have purchased several cars from here and have them serviced here also. Barry and his team, are outstanding.. My service advisor as usual was Jason and like usual he was the best. Karen also helped with my service needs and as always she made sure that transportation needs were met and as usual, I greatly enjoyed the ride. Truly, there isnt a dealership like AutoNation Westlake. If you need service on your Ford, I recommend going there, after all, if they were not great, I wouldnt be traveling over thirty miles for an oil change when I could go three or four miles to another Ford dealer or two miles to a local garage. Obviously, AutoNation must be the best. If you are looking for a new car, I highly recommend you go to Westlake and see how great their dealership is. Indeed, they are the best!!!
I wouldn’t recommend this dealership. After verifying that a vehicle was in stock, and scheduling an appointment three hours later. I drove there just to be told by the same salesman that it was at another dealership. Even the service here has been disappointing. I purchased my last truck and extended warranty through them, but they didn’t keep any record of it. After trying to have repairs made I had to reschedule and bring in my contract for them to preform warranty work.
I Had the pleasure to work with Armando at Autonation Ford & Westlake Ohio What a great Guy ! I live a hour away from the dealership & we Communicated back & forth by Email ,text & talk He went above & be on for me !!He Answered all my questions . He didnt pressure me on buying anything other Then What I wanted He found Me the perfect vehicle for me it was exactly what I wanted & so much more . He send me pictures inside & out of Every Vehicle that I was Interested in . He was very Patient & kind & He will always be my sales man from this point on ! I know His a hour away from me & I would go 2 hours or more to have him Help with me getting a vehicles in the future . I will be sending all my family & friends to him ! & Thank you again Armando Your the Best 😊
When I bought new car in this place it was without a problem (it is easiest part, I think). But now when my car have recall warning (20B34 transmission oil cooler), they say that they do not have parts and they will call me back (they never called back). I called two times. But what is the problem to order this part and change it? And problem is that this recall has limited time frame for free change, after that I should pay for it. And now I believe they are waiting for me to pay for this service. I know that other dealerships order parts and schedule service in 2-3 weeks.
The sales guy was great. We like the vehicle we got for our daughter. But when the time comes for the paperwork, thats when things get shady. They lump tax etc into the final price in the paperwork. It wasnt until I got the title that I saw the actual price paid for the car. After I deducted the warranty cost, doc fees, title/reg fees, there was an $800 overcharge. When I contacted them to find out why, I was told that it was an appearance protection fee that was applied to the car to protect the interior from spills and stains and the clearcoat from peeling or chipping. This is something we didnt ask for nor agreed to. I have always been loyal to businesses I deal with until I feel they have done me wrong. I doubt I will be doing anymore business with AutoNation since they didnt seem interested in making things right.
Email I have sent to their GM and SM.I am writing you today to share my experience at your service department. On 7/17/2018, I took my 2013 Mustang Convertible to your dealership for an airbag recall. While I was there, I mentioned that my car was pulling a little to the right and asked the technician to do an inspection. A few hours later I received a call from Justin who told me that the driver rear axle tube is leaking between the tube and differential housing.I didn’t know much about rear ends at that time, so I asked him if the tube could be replaced. He said no because its welded all together (which is not true, it’s actually pressed). He said the only fix is to replace the entire axle, and because its leaking so badly, he doesnt recommend driving it (I have this all in writing).I took it very seriously and immediately went to one of the most reputable and trusted differential shops in the Cleveland area where I was quoted $2,500-$4,000 for the new axle and labor. I wanted to see how bad the leak was for myself, so the next day, I lifted the car, cleaned the entire axle with a degreaser, and noticed something very strange...My axle was missing a vent tube--a screw that releases pressure in an axle (see attached picture for reference).Picture number 1 is a stock photo showing what a vent tube looks like and where it is located. Pictures number 2 and 3 are of my axle. You can clearly see by the chipped paint that the vent tube was freshly removed. Please tell me how a certified technician wouldnt notice a crucial piece of a car part missing? And then be OK telling a customer they need to have the ENTIRE axle replaced? (Im not accusing your technician of removing it, because I want to believe that nobody would do that on purpose, however it is curious how else it could have happened...)I care very much for my car and getting that kind of news was devastating and tremendously stressful. I am extremely angry, frustrated, and dissatisfied with how your service department operates--and with your technician who obviously isnt properly trained. I paid over $113 dollars for an inspection, yet had to troubleshoot the problem, discover the issue, and find the correct solution ON MY OWN. Its ridiculous and shameful.
I sent this email to the General Manager of Autonation but received no response so I am posting it here.Good evening Mr. Szalai,Thank you for the email reaching out about my recent visit to your dealership. Unfortunately, I cannot say it was a visit that left me happy. Let me give a little background to the situation. Several weeks ago I completed the instant offer on Kelly Blue Book and Autonation Westlake was one of the dealerships that reached out to me to give me an offer. I spoke with Mr. Kucinich on the telephone and he gave me an offer in the $3,000.00 range I believe. This was the lowest offer of all of the ones that I received from Carvana, Vroom, Carmax, Autonation and others. I informed Mr. Kucinich that I would not be selling my vehicle to Autonation for this price. Several weeks went by and I received an email from Mr. Kucinich, Im sure it was an automated email, but it inquired if I was still in the market to sell my Ford Fiesta. I replied that I was still in the market and that Carvana had offered me $6012.00 and asked if he could beat that price. He replied with the following Hi Erik,It appears KBB might have missed this one.Is it possible that you would be able to bringyour Fiesta by sometime today or tomorrow? With its exceptionally low mileage, we just may be able tosatisfy your request. Please let me know.Sincerely,GaryWith this response I scheduled an appointment for Thursday August 26th at 7:00 PM to come in and speak with Ms. Kucinich. I met with Ms. Kucinich and had the vehicle appraised and she offered me approximately $4300.00. She asked if I wanted to proceed that night and I told her that I was not going to proceed at all due to the low offer. I informed her that Carvana was offering approximately $6000.00 and she went to speak with someone to see if she could get the offer raised. She came back to me and said that they could not come near $6000.00 but would give me $500.00 more for a final offer of approximately $4800.00. I told her that I would not be selling my vehicle to Autonation. I then left the dealership. While I was at the dealership everyone was kind and friendly so my complaint is not with that. My frustration is that Mr. Kucinich was provided the amount that I would need to sell my vehicle to autonation and led me to believe that he may be able to reach that number which would have been any amount over $6012.00. Instead I was offered an insulting $4800.00. I understand the dealership needs to make money on the vehicles so Im not even upset about the amount of the offer. What I am upset about is that Mr. Kucinich had to have known there was no way he was going to be able to actually meet the number that I needed to complete a sale. The entire visit was a complete waste of my time and I feel that it was just a ruse to get me into the dealership. I understand that a firm offer needs an in person appraisal and that can affect the value but there was such a large gap in the offer and the number that I had requested that I dont believe for one second that Mr. Kucinich was sincere in his email that he may be able to satisfy my request.I have purchased 3 vehicles and leased 1 at Autonation Westlake, two of them with maintenance plans. I have spent a considerable amount of money with Autonation Westlake and have been loyal in providing my business and recommending others to purchase here. I have had pleasant experiences with the Sales staff and the Service staff. Unfortunately with this visit and an issue with the titling of the 2020 Ford Escape that I purchased, I feel that I will no longer purchase vehicles from Autonation. After my current lease of my 2020 Ford F-150 is up I will likely take my business elsewhere and no longer utilize the Service department either. This visit has left me feeling insulted that Mr. Kucinich had no consideration for my time and had no actual intention in making a deal for my vehicle.Update: 11/3/2021 - I was never contacted by anyone from Autonation to discuss this situation. They obviously dont care.
UPDATE** I did receive a call from the service manager apologizing for my disappointing experience, so they do take these reviews seriously. I appreciated the follow up. 4 stars **My check out was disappointing as I was overcharged, and when I disputed the amount, the service attendant was snarky and rude. Turns out I was right, and there was no apology. Paid and left. Will not be back. Will not recommend. Plan on buying a new truck in the Spring. Wont be from Autonation Ford Westlake.
I would never buy a car from AutoNation again.. They lied to me and told me a lease car had free oil changes..NOT TRUE....Didnt find out till a year later just the 1st oil changes is free...!!!If I know that they lie to me i wouldnt have sent my wifes there for her truck..she went there for a explore truck she loved the truck they showed her .. but when it came time for the paper work that she was signing they change it to a escape.. She didnt. Know instill she got the keys and puonted her to the escape..
I remember when my husband and I first bought our truck from Auto Nation, the heated seat stopped working just two weeks after we bought it and the mechanic told us we would be charged $100.00 to get it fixed after we told him we just bought the truck from them just 2 weeks ago. This guy told us nobody uses my garage without paying minimum $100.00. Then just 3 months later it stopped working again so we ended up having to pay anyway. Another time we had our truck serviced for the muffler was making noises and they said that they couldnt find out was was wrong with it and the guy said he found rocks on top of the catalytic converter. It turned out we just bought bad gas, why the guy lied about the rocks I have no idea. Another time we went to have some engine work done on it and we had to go back twice and still had to get it fixed the right way from our other mechanic. Auto Nation is not for us and we will never go back even to buy our next vehicle just because the servicing department failed us! Its too bad because the Sales People that sold us the truck treated us great but there garage is not the same.
Pros:Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Kevin was as nice and polite as can be.Lobby seemed very nice if you needed to wait.Website was very easy to useVery convenient and quick with having my car ready with an oil change and recall.Cons:I paid $153.12 for an oil change and filter change. Ive been going to another ford dealership for the last 4 years and its usually around $80-$90. Im not sure if the oil used is different or they added a treatment that wasnt explained to me, but I was a bit shocked. My low air light came on driving out of the lot and 3 of my 4 tires needed air. Not sure if this is part of the rotation service, but for $153 I would hope to have air put in my tires. No Car wash like my pervious Ford dealer.
Waited 3.5 hours . Was told I needed to purchase a warranty that I didnt need since it has a manufactures warranty that it is covered by. Was told I would have better luck winning the lottery then not needing my truck worked on when I tried to cancel it. Was charged 8% in sales tax. Would not redo loan to fix their mistake. Ended up stuck with a much larger payment than was quoted the day before. Ladies, you had better look over your paperwork very carefully!
I couldn’t be happier with my new (used) car!Danny Coffey was so helpful! He’s conscientious and knows his product! He may be young but he’s far ahead of sales people with many years more of experience!I will definitely deal with him in the future and also send him referrals when I can.The finance officer worked very hard to get me the best financing available. He was great to work with.
Excellent job. Jason the rep who handled my account was awesome. He went above and beyond. After dealing with him for my company vehicle, I brought my personal truck and he handled it great. Kind and courteous. Top notch. I will definitely bring my vehicle back to him and the service department again.
I had a prior horrible experience with the service department but after getting a new vehicle from this dealer I decided to give them another chance. Bad decision. Went in for an oil change, got a call 3.5 hrs later that they had the part to fix a recalled item and that they had already started the work. Come 6p.m. I hadnt heard from the dealer so I called. They were closed for the day AND STILL HAD MY CAR!! I had to get the sales manager to go to service to get my vehicle for me. I told him and the finance person that I was upset and wanted the service manager to call me the next day. Im still waiting for the call almost 3 weeks later. If I could give a zero I would. Absolutely unacceptable to close shop, and never communicate that my car would be there overnight for an oil change that should have been a 45 min. service, tops.
Found a nice car there with a good price. Was going to finance but they tried to add a $4000 warranty that they originally stated was $60 a month for 24 months. That does not add up to that amount. We ended up paying cash. They serviced the car the next day, which was great, but delayed giving us the service report for a week
I had my car detailed at AutoNation. Excellent service, excellent work quality. Ashley, the service rep and Karen the courtesy driver get a special call out for prompt, courteous service. Ashley was especially good at keeping me informed throughout the whole process.
Went in for an oil change and (sliding) rear window defog issue . Also mentioned the disappointing mileage I am getting with my 2019 F150 w/2.7L Eco engine.I thought the (full synthetic) oil was a bit expensive , over $100 and move than I was told when I dropped the vehicle off. Was told no issue with the rear window but it clearly freezes in the winter on the sliding portion. Still under warranty so will be bringing it back in the winter. Regarding the mileage was told the computer needs more miles to accurately calculate the mileage which made no sense to me. I have less than 4K miles on it and it could improve a bit with more with more piston ring mating wear but dont see how this can be related to the computer. FYI I drive my F150 like a little old lady and have a friend with the larger more powerful Eco V6 on a 2018 F150 that gets nearly 4 MPG more than I do.
I always experience great customer service and a speedy repair on my car when dealing with AutoNation Ford! Its always easy to schedule an appointment and hear back about the diagnostics promptly. I appreciate the care that is given when speaking to Jason Stemmer and everyone else Ive spoken to during the times I needed help and assistance. Mike Jennings does a great job remedying my car when issues arise. Definitely recommend to anyone needing a fix on their vehicle!
Bradley helped with a situation I was having with Sirius radio. He talked to Frank, the person who worked on my car and they couldn’t figure it out. But Frank said I’m going to figure it out and I will call you when I do. When I got home they had called and told me how to fix the problem and it is fixed. I was so happy
The buying experience was one of the best I have ever had. Earl was patient and understanding of my needs during the entire process. I almost felt we were related and buying a car from my dad.He even followed up with me after the sale to see if I had any questions or concerns about my car.
I had a great experience buying a used truck from these guys. The salesman was kind and informative.I never felt pressured or dissrespected.I believe they genuinly helped me get into the truck I wanted for the car payment I needed to budget for.The iceing on top came when I returmed to pick up the truck after all the paperwork was completed. They put on 4 Name brand- brand new tires for the f150 i was buying. Thats $1,000 in tires as a gift.I will always go to them first for any new vehicle purchases. I will reccomend them to everyone.Check them out.
Bob Walker was amazing! He walked me through my first car purchase and was blatantly honest about everything! He explained everything very well and worked with my budget to get the best possible car for ME. Thats the difference between him and this location and other dealerships! Bob put the focus on ME and not his commission or maximizing my budget! I actually came in way under budget and got a really nice starter car!!! Thanks again Bob!!!
Over a year ago I received a recall on my Escape. I needed some sort of fuel gizmo. I called and wastold it had to be ordered and would take awhile. Ill say. After a year I received another notice from Ford. Called to see where my part was and it was never ordered. Was told they would order and its been over a month and no part yet. Auto Nation needs to get organized.I am now pleased to amend my review. I was contacted by Auto Nation and told my part was in. An appointment was made and the work was completed quickly. Jason in the service department was very efficient and accommodating. I was pleased with the service. I understand sometimes mistakes happen but when they are acknowledged and corrected promptly that is a sign of professionalism. Thank you Jason for your help.
I am always impressed with the service and staff at Autonation. Particularly my most recent visit for a service recall. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a vehicle to drive because of caring for a sick family member and serviced my vehicle in a timely manner. Because of the service department I continue to get my vehicles from them. Thank you to Brian and the gals at the checkout! Everyone is friendly and helpful.
I was greeted by warm and friendly associates. Tom Hornikle took time and reviewed the trucks and cars on the grounds. He allowed me to test drive each car and answered my questions and gave me time to review. No Pressure. After deciding on a car, an appointment was set where I once again had time to inspect the detailed car and make my final decision. Mike was very efficient in the finance department and made the process very easy. He took time to explain all the warranty details and answered all my questions. A few days after delivery of the car, Tom called me to make sure I was satisfied with the car.Excellent Sales Service! Chris
I had a wonderful experience with Autonation Ford on 6/17/2021. The staff was very professional and knew their jobs quite well. My mechanic Nick was great and very professional. Nick went above and beyond, Nick made sure my car was in top shape for my out of town trip. I will definitely continue to utilize Autonation Ford Westlake for any future repair and maintenance needs.
Danny and the rest of the sales staff were incredibly nice and helpful and answered all of my questions. I had spent some time visiting other local dealerships and the staff here were caring and considerate. The entire process of buying a new car was quick and painless and able to be completed within a few hours. The website was also very informative and helped me make some detailed decisions. Cannot recommend Autonation Ford Westlake enough!
I was notified of a recall by mail, called AutoNation in Westlake to set up an appointment. They told me they had to order parts for the repair and would call me back to set up the appointment. AutoNation called with an appointment date and time, brought in my Ford Explorer and was told it would be completed by 2p. I was called at 1:45 that the car was ready. The whole process was very organized and professional, everyone I had contact with seemed happy to serve you.
Great service, Autonation just rebuilt my truck after it was rear ended. It took 7 weeks and I found one part still broken but over all they did a great job. I want to thank the techs that put my truck back to right, I’m in debt to you, the truck looks great. And thanks to the service dept. for fixing all the recalls and keeping up my preventative maintenance. Now on to other shop for some mods.
Shorthanded was told I could get a ride home waited almost an hour an half for someone to take me home while car being serviced. Finally after complaining twice someone took me home. They did pick me up to go back to dealer pretty quick. Also not happy had a 10% off coupon lady said must present at time of bringing car in told her I did and she refused to give me the discount. should of been about 11.99 I understand not having the staff everyone is shot staffed now and they were nice. However was a little peeved because she wouldnt honor my coupon!Autonation reached out to me and did give me credit for my coupon. Thank you
After buying and leasing about 7 vehicles from another local dealer and car brand, we decided to try something different since we always had the feeling that that dealership did not appreciate or value repeat customers. We had the good fortune of both coming to AutoNation Ford in Westlake, Ohio and meeting Daniel Coffey, Jr. Dan was the consummate professional who understood our hesitation about switching from a Nissan SUV to the Ford Edge. What stood out most was his knowledge of the Ford products, his warmth and genuine interest in our needs and his ability to answer all our questions without putting down the competition. He made the usually arduous process of purchasing a car into a pleasant and much quicker experience than we were used to. Dan is a great asset to your organization!
I’ve had my Fiesta for a year now and I came in for my second oil change. I had Brian again and all I can say is WOW! Fantastic personality and literally treated me the same as he did months ago, which proves consistency in customer service! He helped me with understanding all of the test run on my car and the results. I left here feeling well taken care of and with new knowledge! Great environment and amazing customer service every time! Love them!
The place may be fine if you make appointments. My truck wouldnt start, had it towed there. They couldnt do anything with it for about a week, they ordered the wrong part, a starter, so I had to wait an additional day. The communication throughout the process was horrible on their part. I called several times for updates with no response. Finally when it was done, I waited and waited for their courtesy shuttle, I finally had Lyft take me there. I got nothing more than excuses from them about the poor service. They just didnt care. I paid an arm and leg for the service including paying the core charge for the old starter that I wanted so I could take it back because I just replaced it myself 3 months earlier. To summarize, this is not the place to take your vehicle without an appointment, you will not be a concern to them, the communication was horrible, there is only one person in the service department that knows anything about your vehicle and that person is never available. The manager has no concern about your vehicle and your time and just makes excuses. The courtesy shuttle is extremely slow and lacks communication. You could walk home before they could give you a ride. If your vehicle doesnt start or breaks down, do yourself a favor, have it towed somewhere else.
John was amazing! Not only did he find us the best car for us but saved us money!! Then took the time to make sure the car was clean and showed us how to link our phones with the app. Anthony also went WAY above and beyond. It was the fastest car buying experience ever. But it did not sacrifice the service
This place has AWFUL customer service. My car had a recall and the lady on the phone said dont worry about that recall, if you arent having a problem then you dont need it fixed. This is the second time I have had an issue with warranty work. The first time, they told me the work was completed when in reality, the service people just diagnosed the issue. Then they told me they would call me when the part was in. Well, never called me for three weeks until I called and they forgot about it. Luckily I live close to Nick Mayer and they are great. Dont bother with this place, they dont care
It wasnt the best experience Ive ever had at a dealership but, the things that did go wrong (most of them, not all) were taken care of. Originally it was probably going to be a 2 but, since they took care of it right away, ill give them a 4. In the end, I did get the car I wanted for a decent price.
I have been in multiple times for service for my new Explorer ST and they never disappoint. Multiple options for ease of getting your vehicle serviced. They offer a nice waiting room, shuttle service if dropping the vehicle off as well as possibility of a loaner or rental vehicle for you.
I took my truck in to get new brakes and told them I want new rotors and new brakes and for them not to turn the rotors. I will pay for them. What did they do, they turned the rotors. Last winter I told them I need a new battery for my truck and when I went to pick it up they said no charge truck is fine. I got home and the next morning I couldnt start the engine. Drellishacks came out to my house with a battery on hand and a tester and showed me my battery was dead. They charged me less than 75 and started me right up. Drellishaks is so much better service than Auto Nation.
I brought in my car to have two recalls completed plus an oil change and tire rotation done. Due to the heavy snow storm I had light scratch lines on my hood. They said they would also look at it and give an estimate. They also gave me a ride home so I could take a meeting while they worked on the car. When I picked it up later on the same day all work completed and they had buffed out the scratch making my hood look like new. Plus the interior had that new car smell again. Thank you so much Automation Westlake!
Your representative was very unprofessional and delivering quality service. I brought my car in for service on 1/28/21. An oil changed was performed and parts were ordered for the Brake Failure message. I asked Kevin Arnold how long it would take for the part to come in and he said he would give me a call when the part comes in. I called back on Feb 4th to find out if the part did arrive as I dont feel comfortable driving the vehicle until it is replaced. I told Kevin would call me. I then waited 3 weeks to call back. I never received a call about the part coming in. I called Kevin last on 2/23/21 to ask if the part came in, and he said it must have come today and wanted to schedule an appointment. I doubt that the part had just arrived today. As a customer, I know when my business is not wanted and I will be taking it somewhere else. My issue was not solved and now Im still dealing with issues with my 2018 Ford Fusion.
I had a great experience, found the car of my dreams, everyone was very professional and made me comfortable at the same time. Jeannie, my salesperson did everything I asked to make me comfortable to drive over 100 miles and meet me on a Sunday. And thanks Jeannie got my key fob.
AutoNation Ford Westlake is an Awesome place to take your vehicle for any kind of service. The guys there are truly professional, from the people who check you in to the service techs to the ladies who check you out. They also try to get your vehicle in and out as quickly as possible.
Glad to see spacing with seats and.clean😷 per covid and had access to the remote for the TV. Had oil change and tire rotation done. Took longer than I thought ..and didnt care for the 2x the rep came in to tell me yet again something else that they recommended I pay for. I.left paying 100.00 for what was just suppose to be a 50.00 oil.change.would have been more if i paid for all the things they recommend.I just got the car in Aug how much could it really need already. But I know for the next trip😉

2022-01-01Totally wasted my time. I had an appointment to bring my excellent condition 1998 Jaguar xk8 to sell. They only offered me 3,000.00. Worth 8,000.00 would resale for 12,000.00. You be the judge. Their cars are way overpriced. I will never recommend to anybody. I will never waste my time like that again

2022-02-21Overall great experience buying my 2017 F150! Armando was helpful and I appreciated being able to test drive privately to go over the truck. When an exhaust clamp broke during the warranty period, I was able to get it fixed quickly with the service department.Only suggestion I would have is that I wish the sales and finance people we met with would have included my wife during the conversations and not directed the conversation to only me.

2021-11-08I was looking for an escape and got into contact with Armando, he made sure they had the one I was looking for and even let me know they had more in stock than I thought. I went out there that night to test drive the one I wanted and found one I liked better! Dan made my first car buying experience great. They worked with me on the trade in value of my previous vehicle and were very helpful throughout the process.

2022-05-23Over all a great experience purchasing a 2022 Bronco from these guys. My sales rep William Ahonen was very helpful and easy to work with during the whole sales experience. Really didnt have any issues with any part of the buying from them. When ever I came in to check in on the progress of my order they were very helpful and easy to get whatever I needed from them. Months before my bronco was even built they had me sit in and check out one they had getting prepped right after it was delivered in the garage. It was worth the wait and by far the best dealership/sales experience Ive had. Considering it seems to be very hard to find a trustworthy, honest and dealer thats willing to actually help you, this place stands out compared to the rest. Even the service department was great. I had an tailgate table installed and they were able to get me in first thing next morning and got it done very quickly. Very happy with everything and certainly will use them for future vehicles.

2022-07-01Brought my 2021 F-150 in for warranty work (had about 6 recalls on it). It took weeks to schedule the appointment as they would not provide a rental car even though I was in for safety recalls. While in service, I called to check on the status of my truck and was greeted with poor customer service. The service employees could not provide an eta and it took about 3 hours to finally get an answer. When I went to pick my truck up, the front desk service employees acted like they did not want to be there and were not welcoming. When I go to pay (I had my tires rotated as well), I noticed I was being charged $90 for free warranty work and a tire rotation ($19.95). Eventually they removed this and I though I was on my way... I get in my truck to leave and noticed my windshield was very dirty (recall #1, replace windshield), so I go to spray washer fluid. While doing this, I notice a complete wiper arm is missing from my driver side (recall #2, wiper motor). Someone seemed to think I didnt need my other wiper!! I pull my truck back into the bay and the employees come out to investigate. We look around my truck to see if the arm was placed inside my truck when I discover the next issue. Now my tailgate will not come down (recall #4, tailgate locking mechanism). During this process, Nick (I believe a service manage brought in from Canton), was great help and kept me calm. He promised they would get everything resolved shortly, in which he held to that promise. They eventually brought in a new truck to swap wiper arms and magically my tailgate started working again.Through the entire process, I felt I was treated poorly for someone who purchased a brand new truck from this dealership.Nick in the service department was the saving grace and the only reason I didnt rate this 1-star. He was the only employee that handled the situation professionally and with urgency. Overall though, I will never return to AutoNation dealerships.

2022-06-01My experience with AutoNation Ford Westlake was great! Frankie and the rest of their team were super welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. As Frankie and I already had a previous discussion. It was right to the point. We double checked the paperwork and everything was exactly as he said already. He didnt try to upsell on something else. The team was great at the process moving. I would plan on returning for my next car purchase. Not something I say lightly.

2022-02-03Took my car in yesterday. Was supposed to be working with Melissa (who was very lovely on the phone) but ended up working a lot with Barry. I was very impressed with Barry’s patience and kindness - especially since I wasn’t technically his client. Melissa also did a lot to get me a discount on my services which I really appreciated.

2022-06-22My experience here at automation was very good! The first person I talked to was Armando he was great. When I went to the dealership he already had 3 customers so he refereed me to a co-worker Pete. Pete was very patient he knew his cars and the features of the cars. Even followed up with an email to see how everything was going. If you get a car from here hear men are great and you won’t be disappointed.

2022-06-07I’m going to start by saying Ashley was polite and helpful. I was disappointed with my experience overall. I had booked an appointment about a month out with notes about things I needed checked and requested a phone call to discuss. I also requested a loaner as the request I made would take longer than just an oil change and tire rotation and I had work. I did not receive a phone call until the day before my appointment to explain that I was not getting a loaner and that none of my request could be fulfilled because they don’t have diagnostic techs on Saturdays. They had the information for almost a month I could have switched to a week day if I had too. I was told when I purchased my vehicle from them that service would be seem less….and it never has been. I was also told if I requested a loaner they would make it happen, also has never happened except for the occasion that they had my Jeep for 3 days. You rarely get phone calls back if you leave a message. I stuck with them because I got my Vehicle there but I will really have to think about continuing service with them.
