Automotive Connection was very friendly and assisting to my needs. I came in telling them what I was looking for and what I was willing to pay and they made it happen for me. I am very pleased with the staff and my car! Very reliable and safe car. 10/10 recommended! Ask for Kevin Osborne.
Definitely would recommend! Alina was very helpful in getting me into a vehicle and approved when I didnt think I would qualify. Very friendly and professional they have a great selection of cars for what ever your budget is. Junior is awesome as well with the financing
Saw a listing for a 2018 Toyota Highlander at this establishment. Listed at $24,990 called the dealership and they confirmed. Talked to the sales manager who confirmed they had the vehicle and the price. Called the next day to work out a deal, then the price was listed at $30,000 on website. Talked to salesman, said they didn’t have record of the price. Told him the carfax shows what it was listed at, he confirmed. Talked to the owner and who then said there was no way he would honor that because it was an error. He said even if you drove 2 hrs we wouldn’t have honored because it’s less than cost. I am not in the car business but I feel like even an error that causes false advertising should be honored.
Went to look at a car today, and went in to ask where it was located on their lot. Was immediately handed a form to sign to test drive, even though we just wanted to look at the car first. It took at least 15 minutes for the car to be brought up for us. Test drive went well until we went on the highway, the car started shaking. Pulled into a parking lot to check the tires and once the vehicle was turned off it would not turn back on. We had to call for the car to be jumped, which took 20 minutes or more even though we were 2 minutes away from the lot. Once the car was jumped, we drove it back to the lot, told them we were leaving and then they offered to put a new battery in the vehicle. If the car shakes and dies on a test drive-no one is going to buy it. Not happy with any part of the experience.
Bought a car here summer 2021. tl;dr would definitely shop here again, now that I know the lay of the land.PROS: Cars cosmetically are the nicest of any of the used car dealers I visited during this sales cycle, and also seemed to drive well. Everyone is used-car-dealer-sleazily-friendly (which I dont mind at all, its fine). Mechanically your mileage may vary, but I was pleased with what I saw and test drove.CONS: Unethical sales/negotiation tactics (well fix all safety elements on us, including new tires false), notarized contract pages were not done in front of me (big no no for notaries). Their job is to sell cars, not sell you cars in the condition you like. Get your pre-purchase inspection done, and dont negotiate with them to include repairs at an increased cost. The salesperson is paying for those repairs out of their commission, so the more they can cut corners post-purchase, when youre locked in, the more they profit. Learned that lesson the hard way and ultimately got some cash back when they failed to fulfill the we owe portion of the contract, after 45 days of trying to get them to complete what was agreed to.Update 1/7/2022: They actually failed to do more of the contactually required repairs that was visible from the car externally, so bumping down to 1 star. Unethical and unsafe business practices. If you say youre going to replace brake pads, a key safety item, you best do it!Update 2/2/2022: Restoring my 3 star review - worked with the dealer, got compensated with a different repair in exchange for the rear brake pads. Difficult and annoying that it took so long, but I respect the fact they were willing to work with me and acknowledged the issues. Work with Junior, he understands what matters to customers.
I purchased a 2008 Porsche 911S from Automotive Connection in Fairfield Ohio on October 5, 2021. I live in Texas and found the car on Cars.com. The pictures of the car and the sales staff represented the car as a clean and mechanically sound vehicle. I was told that Automotive Connection had just done a large service on the car. The Carfax supported Automotive Connections claim. I bought the car and flew to Ohio to drive it back. When I arrived there were two warning lights on and the front tire was low. During my drive back the steering begun to shake, the rear bumper fell off and the transmission began to leak. Due to the repairs done by Automotive Connection, I believe they knowingly misrepresented the condition of the vehicle. I let the salesman know what had happened and he said to send the repair bill to him and he would see what they could do. I sent the repair bills and requested that Automotive Connection pay for less than half of the repairs in order to settle amicably and move on. I was told to call the manager, which I did repeatedly. Automotive Connection management told me they are an as is dealership that primarily sells to auctions and that they would not stand by the salesmans representation. I would never buy another car from Automotive Connection. They are the worst of what a used car lot is. In my opinion, Automotive Connection is only interested in making money. Stay away from this lot. In my opinion, Automotive Connections business is criminal and the employees should be ashamed of themselves. Shame! Shame! Shame! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS BUSINESS!
Was looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealer but the car was sold as I was walking in with paperwork, which is understandable since I didnt put down a non-refundable deposit. The service here was okay. This place is very busy, not just with people, but their parking lot is full of vehicles, some had flat tires. The employees were laid back but some were just unprofessional. I would return if I had to but this probably wouldnt be my first choice at a car dealership.
I was interested in a 2012 Audi A4 they had and I went and bought it. Staff is actually pretty friendly but I’m not sure how much you can trust the cars. They did an excellent job getting the paper work done and going to extra mile to make sure I was able to get it done efficiently( who wouldn’t when selling a car ). In my opinion, I think it’s fair to assume they had bought the car from an auction and it’s probably my fault that I didn’t look into the car itself but after 30 days had past I found out it was consuming oil. After taking it to Audi, I found out there was a 7000 dollar repair job to fix the issue. In all fairness they probably weren’t aware that there was a broken seal but if you want to buy a used car, I wouldn’t chose this place. I would consider a place that has protected warranty on the car. And DO YOUR RESEARCH.
Excellent buying experience.very pleased with all of the staff I dealt with. The Salesman Jordan, wasn’t just trying to sell me a car, he was very personable. Finance manager, I feel went above and beyond to help get us the best deal. I was hesitant at first because it wasn’t one of those huge dealerships, but this was one of the best buying experiences I’ve had. I will be buying again when it’s time to upgrade or purchase another vehicle.
Great experience. The lot is filled with anything you need, and the staff here is very helpful and does good business. I had an issue with a car the day after I bought it, and they had me bring it in and fixed it for free. I dealt with Ryan and he jumped over backwards to help, frequently sprinting across the lot for keys and spitting out Carfax reports and personal suggestions. I was lucky to find this place for sure.
Destiny Case sold me the most amazing Elantra, ever!!! I could go on and on about my car :) its my baby! Buuuttt Id like to focus on customer service! Ive noticed since quarantine a lot of people working any kind of sales jobs are running short fused because theyre over worked, BUT!!! This woman! She was so patient and so kind to me and that is soooo everything!!! Im such an indecisive person but she let me look and test drive, look and test drive, call family and ask some questions lol. I know Im a pain in the butt to deal with but she really made me feel like I wasnt. Shes personable, knowledgeable and simply gorgeous!!! Please keep this woman, shes definitely an asset to your customers and their experience!
Very shady way of doing business. Made an appointment set to test drive a car. When I got there they were very rude, told me the car sold 20 minutes ago. If someone was looking at the car before I got there they shouldve called to let me know. I 10/10 dont recommend, wouldnt even have given them 1 star.
So I did not end up purchasing a vehicle but these guys always provide a great, friendly, dealership experience. I did my research online, came in and asked for the specific car, they got the keys, and didn’t aggressively push me to look at anything else - just offered some excellent suggestions based on my choice of car I researched originally. I have been coming to this dealership for years to check out their inventory which is massive with low to high end models galore. The guys and girls here are extremely friendly and this dealership has almost a barbershop/beauty salon vibe.I will continue to look here when I search for a car with no hesitation. Herb was great to work with and an absolute character — he’s hilarious!Oh, and if you’re in the market for a small SUV — they have an awesome 2013 BMW X1 35i xdrive with 80,xxx miles (N55 engine) that drives excellently with zero issues I could see on my inspection. Only reason I didn’t buy is because I’m too large for the car at 6’4” 280lbs.Don’t sleep on this dealership!
Purchased my first used car here last night from Sam and Jon. After some wintery weather the week before my old 1999 sedan just couldnt take it anymore, so I needed an upgrade relatively quickly. I spoke with Sam and Jon about what I was looking for in a new-to-me used vehicle and when I went to the dealership, they had the Chevy Cruze I was eyeing already pulled around and started up. I was able to take it for a spin and signed the papers shortly afterward. Very transparent, no-frills service and they did a great job helping me qualify for financing and get out of a serious jam. Great guys selling some beautiful cars.
My boyfriend and I drove from Columbus to look at cars in the Cincinnati area and stumbled across Automotive Connection. We were very impressed comparing their inventory to other dealers in the area. We were helped by Sam and he wasn’t pushy at all throughout the entire process (which we were not used to). I highly recommend buying from here!! Thanks again!!
Best dealership in the tri-state! Hands down some of the best options to choose from. Christian is awesome went there late night a few minutes before closing and he was such a professional ready to help with no hesitations. Definitely landed me a good deal and made the process smooth and easy. Got a nice family car and best of all created a good relationship with this dealership. If you want a car check them out and visit christian he is the #carplug will get you the car you need!
I would like to thank felipe and junior helping me get a car(2011 kia forte sx) for an amazing deal and its under mileage. They were very patient and intuitive in my wants and need of a car and with the financial part I fully understand and came with a awesome price/deal. Im thankful for yall and it was nice working with you. Very caring people.I would highly recommend this place 🥰🥰🥰😁😁
Avoid this place. Their prices are misleading. They have a vague disclaimer on their site that would void the promo price. Wearing a red shirt could jack the vehicle price up. Staff is rude. Wont tell you how much youre financing. Theyll tell you what your month payment will be after adding on a lot of bloat like extended warranty. When you start asking questions, they like to change the subject and make up stories about how their family is where you live. If you still want to buy a vehicle here. Dont tell them how much you are putting down before you get the price in writing. Dont tell them you have a trade in before getting the price in writing. Try to finance on your own. Not many people know this but dealerships like these will add interest to your loan. Say a lender they work with will loan you the money at 5%, the dealership can add whatever they want to that. That extra % then gets split between the salesperson and the dealership. Places like these are no better than those cash advance services.
I drove over an hour to check out a Porsche Cayenne GTS for a possible test drive. I was immediately asked can I help you? without even getting a good ten seconds to look at it. I told them I wanted a test drive; they immediately wanted to perform a credit check. I knew that was not how all dealerships operate so I refused. I told them I had the cash to buy it outright if I wanted; they still refused as they stated it was the owners policy for all vehicles they consider to be high value. I test drove a Porsche Panamera Turbo the other month [which costs more than the Cayenne]: the salesman gladly drove it off the showroom floor, handed me the keys and said take your time. All he needed was a copy of my drivers license. The Cayenne was on the lot by the way. If someone asks for your credit rating before offering you a test drive, theyre trying to pull something. Either that or theyre profiling customers.
This is the best place to buy a car from, hands down. My Wife’s mother drove 4 hours to help us find a car for my wife, every place we went to had cars in poor shape, out of our price range or were blatantly disrespectful. As soon as we met with Ryan at Automotive Connection we knew we were in the right place. Him and John were incredibly helpful, found us multiple great cars in our price range and made the process of buying our car seamles and stress free. They were kind and patient with us, even took the time to get to know us as people. 10/10 will recommend to anyone looking for a good car from good people.
My experience at Automotive Connection was awesome. I purchased a used Ford F-150 truck. It was just what I was looking for. They were able to get a very low finance rate with one of the banks they use. They also gave me a great deal on a trade in that I also owed on and rolled the remaining loan into my new loan. I would recommend Automotive Connections to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
Sam was the gentleman who sold my husband and I the vehicle. He was very friendly and never made us feel pressured to purchase. Junior was the man who worked up the financials. He clearly explained the financial process and gave us multiple payment options. We ended up buying a vehicle, not only because it fit our needs, but also because of the honesty and professionalism of these two men. Thank you!
Nina was amazing! She got me in a car same day and even worked with me when I didn’t have enough for my down payment! She actually makes general conversation with you rather than just talking about making a sale. She engaged with both me and my mother and kept us laughing and smiling while we waited. Junior stepped in later to go over the contract while we waited for the car to be detailed and he was very thorough and nice and replaced the windshield wiper blades for free!!
Recently purchased a 2017 Chevy Impala and this was an amazing experience. I don’t have the best credit but they absolutely worked on my behalf to get me in the car that I chose and wanted. What I was most appreciative is that Sam (dealer) and Kevin (finance) were down to Earth, understanding of my situation, and made me feel as though they were really trying to help me out instead of just selling me a car! I would definitely recommend this place!
I recently purchased a pickup truck here. Worked with Alina. The experience was pleasant, much better than prior experience at dealerships. She was helpful when needed and not the average pushy sales person. Felt like I got a good deal on my truck and the experience was painless. I’d shop here again.
On Friday at end of day I put in a $300 deposit from me on a van and they claimed it would hold the van for 7 days. Mentioned before placing the deposit that I wanted it inspected. When I called Monday and asked them to drive it to a service center 4 minutes down the road, they said they had too many people interested in it and that they would refund my $300 deposit. I was ready to buy the van as long as it checked out.Guess my $300 deposit didnt REALLY hold the van for 7 days. Pretty bad customer service.Edit: After fumbling around for a day, the dealer changed their mind and took the van to the mechanic. It ended up having obvious issues, cosmetic and functional, that they failed to mention to me.
Nina was awesome. She helped me pick a great reliable car and i was able to leave the same day. She also made great conversation about other things not just sales to make sure i was having a great experience. SHe answered any questions me and my mother had to make sure that i left in a car that was worth my money and she worked with me on my down payment even when i didnt have that much. I would recommend Nina to help you when you arrive to look at a car. I love my car !!!! Thanks Nina
Bought a used Miata from them. Ran perfectly fine for one week. Then the clutch master cylinder went out, then the clutch slave cylinder went out, then the fuel pump went out, and the fuel filter and plugs needed to be replaced due to the gas tank having water and gunk in it. I had to get towed THREE times in the second week of owning. I called Automotive Connection to see what they could do and all they had to say was “that’s how it goes”. Do not give them your business!
Amazing experience at automotive connection. The staff was super friendly and thorough.Hands down the most painless experience buying a car, I would recommend everyone check them out if you’re in the area. Even if you aren’t! We drove 2 and a half hours because the prices were so aggressive.
James poynter was very nice and honest. He let me know up front the minor repairs needed for my car. I told him i wanted a nice affordable car, and he brought me more than what i expected. I came in wanting to do a buy here pay here because my credit isn’t that great, but he suggested that i finance instead. I was literally able to get my FIRST CAR WITHOUT A CO-SIGNER. Super satisfied 🙂
My experience was outstanding! I bought a 2014 mustang and was having issues with my bank causing the dealership and I both problems. Kevin took everything over and made sure everything was settled between us, the bank, and themselves so I could leave with the car I strived to buy! They not only worked with the bank on pricing, but me as well. Very reasonable and hey genuinely did everything they could to help me leave happy and keys in hand! John, Kevin, and James are all great Sales men and I highly recommend you ask for them when visiting the dealership! I couldn’t be happier with the car I am able to own now including all their help to get time there!
I got my first car from them a f came back 3 years later for another. They take care of their customers and are ver honest. ASK FOR RYAN!!! He was very helpful with making sure I drive off with a vehicle , he was patient kind and very informative. He really works hard to meet customers needs. I love my car and I loved the service I received!
My buying experience here was a very good one. The staff was courteous from the moment I met them. The vehicle was pretty much as I expected. The sales person and manager were businesslike and zealous but not too pushy. They seemed to go the extra mile to make sure the vehicle was clean and mechanically sound. Would buy from again if the opportunity arose. Did seem as though the lot was crowded with inventory but otherwise a good experience. Only recommendation I would have is a larger lot.
Absolutely great experience. My used car salesman, Cedric, was honest, responsive and thorough. Like most, I dont look forward to the process of buying a car, but Cedric turned that around for me and I highly recommend that you ask for him when you visit Automotive Connection.!!
Came in today in need of a car and Sam Shepherd had awesome customer service! He explained everything to us about the car, and how the car had a warranty on it if anything went wrong with it. I would definitely come back to get a car in the near future and also send future customers to him. Thank you Sam for a awesome job!
Just buying a vehicle here... been a great experience! Korey was the salesman... outstanding, friendly, professional. Highly recommend if you are in search of a vehicle at a good rate..Update:I recognized there were a few things to check on once I purchased the car. I was told at the dealership that most issues were fuse related or minor like that (Korey even called the mechanic while I was there). So, my expectation was maybe a few hundred $s to get the car back to safe and reliable level. Wrong.$2,400 later, and after severe shock, it was finally close to what it should have been. That was just about 25% of the original purchase price also.I sent an email to the salesman Korey, who sold me the car, mentioning how the repairs were much more than had been conveyed at the time of purchase. Never received a response.Did I expect some adjustment on the purchase price? That would have helped, however, had a response occurred with some timeliness and honesty, that would probably have been enough for me.Heres a suggestion: before buying from here, wait overnight at least one night. Give yourself time to gut feel what you think. Understand they will tell you Unicorns fly and mars is inhabited to get you to close a deal.
They have a large selection of vehicles at nice prices. My salesperson, Korey, was very easy to deal with.I came in knowing what I wanted, he got me the keys, I test drove it, then did the paperwork to buy it. He made it easy and a nice transaction all around. Thanks, Korey, I appreciate your help!
I purchased my 2014 Kia Optima from Sam Shepherd and the process was so smooth! Sam was extremely helpful, patient and honest through it all. Im beyond happy and thankful Ive decided to come to him to purchase my dream car. I promise he will not disappoint. Thanks again Sam; YOU DA MAN!
Sam, Kevin and John were great. It was a good fast experience.Update 2-5-19: Im taking down to 3 stars since they promised me a set of tires at cost. I have called multiple times with no response. Apparently they dont care about customer service after they sell you the car.
I purchased a 2012 Black Volkswagen Jetta today! I had Sam and just want to say that he was such a great help. He instantly made me feel welcomed in the establishment, he allowed a test drive, got my car cleaned up, and offered me numerous services! He was a big help when I mentioned I was a college student and needed help with finance. 10/10 experience Overall!!
Alina Galieva sold me a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude today and she was absolutely awesome. She made everything go smoothly, and she was 100% honest about everything and even had the gas filled up for me. The prices at this lot are cheaper than any lot anywhere. I would definitely refer my friends and relatives to them and if I trade up later, I’ll go back there. She is fantastic so I recommend asking for her if your looking to find an honest sales person.
If you are looking for a good Quality vehicle, stay far away from this dealer. Went to test drive a 2018 GMC. Got inside of it and it hadnt even been cleaned. Cigarette ash everywhere. Touch screen radio popped up and said Cadillac on it. Lots of other cosmetic issues. Told the salesman I would take it if they came down on the price (which was already over blue book value) and he told me good luck and walked away from me. All the tires were missing the valve stem caps. They couldnt even spend the time to clean it up and fix the smallest things. Very sketchy place and I dont recommend anyone to buy a car from them.
Made an appointment with Cody who didnt show up, but turned out to be fine because we got to work with Korey instead. He went out of his way to help, and made sure I had everything I wanted. Love my new car, got a great deal, and would have no reservations about dealing with this place again.
Sam and the crew at Automotive Connection are amazing. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had buying a car. Zero pressure sales! They know how to treat their customers right and help get you into the car you want. If you’re looking for a car call Automotive Connection.
We drove from Columbus, Oh to purchase our car from Automotive Connection, initially based on the affordability of the vehicle we were interested in. By the end of the experience, not only did we appreciate the price, but the car was in beautiful condition, the service was so friendly, and the entire process was efficient and fast! This place definitely excels in customer service.Special shout out to our salesman- Ryan Bolton! He was honest, knowledgable, and an all-around pleasure to work with. The finance specialist was also another fabulous businessman! We are grateful to be leaving with an affordable rate on our gorgeous 2018 Nissan Maxima, and that Automotive Connection made it unbelievably effortless and enjoyable for us.
Sam Shepherd was a pleasure to buy a vehicle from. Normally car buying is a long drawn out experience. Not today. They have a lot of nice vehicles here for a good price.Follow up from this experience. Its not Sams fault but the technician that was supposed to fix the leaking tire, as part of my sales agreement, did not but said he did. It was not repairable and they should have replaced it based on our signed agreement. They sent me away saying they inspected all 4 tires for me like a good dealership would a d repaired that one tire. A few days later Im at firestone finding out all of my tires were damaged beyand repair.
Look - there are better places to shop for cars, but there are also much worse ones. Nina and Ryan were both super friendly and helpful. The cars carry risk, everyone knows that. Buy in my experience, at a place like this, you can get much worse customer service. We didnt find something we liked enough to buy, but Nina was very professional and helpful and Im sure if you go to enough places like this youll find Automotive Connection isnt at the bottom of the list.Do your research on the vehicle but also give them a shot because theyre good people.
Came to look at a Cadillac that I saw online. I called ahead and they had it ready for me when I got here. Everyone was very friendly and honest and I felt like I was getting a good deal. They even set me up with a good warranty. I had never been here before but I am very pleased and would definitely come back to buy another vehicle in the future!
After a horrible experience at icar imports down the street, it was refreshing to work with the guys here! Cedric was exceptional! He took the time to listen and found me the exact vehicle I was looking for. I highly recommend Automotive Connection and would definitely purchase from them again!
Drove down from Dayton to test the 2013 Volkswagen listed for $10499. When we got there the show room was not professional. The car was waiting out front, we was told that the low tire light was on, and so was the engine light. We test drove it, stopped and went over it, it was missing several cover pieces off the motor, and had what looks like packing foam still in places on the motor. We checked the oil, and other fluids. Dirty-gritty, everything needed flushed and changed. We got back and told our sales lady all we found, and she was like - you should change the oil after you buy a car, and the dash lights that were on wasnt really important.READ THE FINE PRINT! Because I wanted to finance it the $10499. price then went to $15999. and they was going to take $1000. off, the price you see on line is CASH only. I was told NO down payment in a text from the sales lady, and was told I would need $2950. to get the payments to between $425 - $450 a month for 48 months. We laughed and walked.I suggest you research other options, and dealers. Thanks for your time.
Very Friendly staff & the process was quick n easy! Alina was the absolute BEST, and she’s very sweet and patient!! I told her exactly what I wanted, and she didn’t try to push me into looking at other cars. She got me in my Camaro sap! I’d recommend all my friends and family here, and I look forward to continuing doing business.
Bought my Scion Tc here. I have had it 2 months and havent had any problems.Keep in mind car dealerships buy cars and inspect them, but they cant catch every little thing. You always take a gamble when buying a used car. So far I have been lucky.I would recommend this dealership but always be careful and take it to a mechanic before ever purchasing anything.
Had gone to different dealers with no luck. From the first minute I walked in Chris was extremely helpful and nice. Went to extra lengths and helped me find the right vehicle spent the whole day working with me. Now I am walking away highly satisfied. Purchased my first vehicle and Chris and John made it possible. Will definitely come back every time!
Sam is an absolute fraud. Stay far away from this place. The definition of a shady used car salesman. Using bait and switch tactics. When I didnt fall for any of it, he gave my email address out all over car gurus to get back at me. If he was just honest from the get go, he would have gotten a much better review from me.
They seemed liked a great place but their true colors came out for me. Purchased 2 vehicles from them in 2019. Bought the warranty with my 2016 F150 but after a couple months decided to cancel it. ASC refunded the money promptly to Auto Connection but after a couple months Im still trying to get Auto Connection to pass the refund along. Getting nothing but lies and the runaround. Filling a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General today. Hopefully that helps. Reading through the Google reviews it looks like most of the positive ones were written by them. BBB rates them bad. Think twice about Auto Connection
Great Selection and Awesome Staff!!! Korey was excellent, He took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel pressured to buy. The day after I purchased the truck I realized the A/C didnt work and since its an As-Is lot I assumed they would do the bare minimum and just recharge the system, They ended up finding the leak and ordered the parts to repair it properly that same day at no additional cost. Thanks Again for a Great Experience.
My brother in law and I went to this dealership, we were wondering around the place, and this kind man named Sam asked if we needed any help, we ended up getting a car, Sam was able to help us without any inconvinience. I recommend this place, they have good customer service and very friendly staff. If you want to buy a car here, just ask for Sam!!
Come check out Sam. Very professional and explains everything. Very nice and respectful guy. A lot of nice cars trucks and suvs. Sam worked with me and made sure I was happy and satisfied with the suv choice I decided. Down payment and monthly fee very reasonable. Make Automotive Connection your choice when buying your next vehicle and don’t for get to come in and ask for Sam.
So we went in and walked away with a car, which was not that plan at all. Then a week after we realized that we should have done more homework and be more careful. The major thing that I am not happy with this dealership is their lack of transparency and mixed messages. We werent in a rush to get a car that day, were more like shopping around, and when we asked Sam, who helped us, if we can compare different banks for the interest rate, he said yes, but when we were signing the contracts with the manager, it was a no. if we want to change it later on, it would be refinancing and we would have to pay the penalty fee. I was alarmed then, but thought it shouldnt be too big of a deal and went along. Later learned that we could have avoided the loan application fee if we were to apply the loan ourselves. But they didnt tell us that, they said with the wright patt credit union theres a one time membership fee for $250, what he didnt tell us was that its only that case if the dealership applied the loan on our behalf.... i understand that they want to close the deal but its not ok to not fully disclose everything. I am sure they are fully aware of the $250 application fee, but instead of saying that, Sam told us its the one time membership fee for EVERYBODY. We didnt really examine the car carefully either, and found that theres a little dent on the car and there was not keyless entry remote. Overall, I would say its a lesson learned, but would not go back there.
Mary is amazing! When I came I didn’t have the best credit! I couldn’t get financed. But Automotive Connection got me in a nice vehicle! Anytime I have needed to contact Mary she always is courteous and kind! Very helpful! She didn’t hassle me about payment- she graciously helped me as much as possible! Mary Rocks!!!!Thank you for all you do Mary & Automotive Connection!!!
I called to inquire about a car I seen on their website and had the pleasure of speaking with Sam. Sam was great from start to finish! I ultimately purchased the vehicle and he was very knowledgeable and thorough throughout the whole process. A+++++Thanks for everything, Sam!!
We’ve bought two cars from the team at Automotive Connection and both times we have appreciated their effort to reach a deal. The staff is friendly and they work hard to get a deal, but you bever feel pressured. Thanks to Automotive Connection for a good buying experience.
Bought my second car from them about a year and a half ago. Just tried trading it in and was informed it is a salvage with frame damage. When I bought the car that was not disclosed to me and I paid regular value for the car. Also the car fax that I was showed didn’t say any such damage. no one will even take it with just 51000 miles on it. So if your looking for cheats this is the place. Very sad that I am stuck with a car that’s not worth pretty much nothing.
I went to buy a 2014 Volkswagen Passat Sportwagen and was upside down on my trade. Tim McDonald and the finance manager Junior were very friendly and helpful. I never felt left out or uninformed during the entire process. They did everything they could to help me with my situation and got me into the car at a great rate with an easily manageable payment.
Great place. Any one looking for a fairly priced but extremely nice vehicle, go to auto connection and ask for Alena! When I first contacted Auto connection they were very informative. They are not pushy like most dealerships. I will definitely buy another car from here!
I wish I could leave less stars. Terrible experience, Took my down payment, told me the process “would be really quick”. They left myself and mother with health issues, sitting in a back room for 9 hours. Then another 2 hours the next day, promised me a lot, got ZERO. finally get my car, drove it a few days. Left me stranded in another state. Needs 8,000 in work. They don’t care at all. Terrible company! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
About an hour drive from home but they had a car we really liked. Kept us waiting for hours claiming banks were slow on the weekends (another dealer got finance approval in literally minutes on a weekend). Witnessed a lot of fast talking to us and others. Took a chance but we wont be back.
Purchased my 2015 Jeep Wrangler from here. I live in central Indiana. I found the Jeep online, filled out an online application through Nina, then came three days later to pick it up! Took it for a test drive, signed my papers, and it was a done deal! Very personable staff to work with.
Staff was friendly and Sam got us in and out at a reasonable pace. The facilities themselves however were dirty and the A/C was not working which made the room very uncomfortable in the 93 degree heat. The cars on the lot are dirty and probably need more attention. Overall the price of the car is what brought us out and I would prefer not to return.
By far the worst I have ever been treated as not only a customer, but as a person in general. After returning 4 times for what should have been a one time trip and them only taking my father seriously and not me, I finally expressed my frustration. After excuses and their financial manager trying to put the blame on me (?) I asked to speak with the owner. Instead, they brought over the GM. Before I could even finish explaining the situation, this man began yelling at me and my mother cursing at us and calling us names that were completely disrespectful and totally out of line, while also stating various threats. Not a single person intervened and even after this, NOTHING was made right. I am still in shock over the situation and I URGE you to take your business elsewhere. This place is unprofessional, misogynistic, and could care less about taking care of their paying customers. Please take this and other reviews, as well as complaints on the Better Business Bureau, seriously as they have turned my first car buying experience into a nightmare.
They lied to me! They told me they will fix things properly and didnt! I Dont believe a word they say!! Worse buying experience ever! I will never go there again. They didnt fix car properly when they promise they will! I wasnt happy when repairs done.it was bad! they gave me a warrantyI was told not a dime out of my pocket and fixed properly with a warranty. Now Im being told that I have to pay four to five hundred out of my pocket to fix door properly with warranty and who knows how much Ill have to pay to get fender fixed properly with warranty. Unreal. Ill show everyone all the texts and paperwork that says that you would repair properly with warranty and let everyone see about doing the repairs correctly and not a dime coming out of pocket. Now you say 4 to 5 hundred is going to come out of my pocket after I just put 2800 down on the car. Im not setting for nothing less than what you promised. Not a dime is coming out of my pocket to fix door and fender properly with warranty.ive been patient enough.i want doors fixed by lambo doors and not a dime out of pocket. And Im going to take fender to someone else like you said..who can fix it properly the first time with warranty and not a dime out of my pocket.take care.
Drove 7 hours from North Carolina to purchase a car here because they had the specific model I was looking for. Overall positive experience. Korey was very personable and professional. Let me know before I came about a few minor issues with the car so there were no surprises. The car actually looked better in person than in the photos. Sure it was a little dirty, all of them were because theyre doing a ton of construction on the main road. And yeah, the office is a little messy and the salespeople dont wear uniforms, but everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I came here for a car, not an experience.
I’m a single mom of two who has been a lifelong Volvo owner. My 2005 XC90 finally had enough and died on the side of I-65 last week. I spent all week and all weekend searching for the right deal and I found the absolutely best deal in the US on my new 2017 XC60. Alina and the crew did an absolutely amazing job of working so hard to get me the best deal on my new vehicle. I cannot thank them enough. Without their dedication and hard work and passion for helping people like me get the best deal, I would not have had a vehicle to get to work or to take my sons to their first day of school this morning. Even though I live in Indiana, I will always come back here to auto connection of Ohio for all future vehicle purchases. I highly recommend to everyone!
Was sketchy from the beginning. Wanted my info just to test drive a car. Which hey I get so you don’t just have “joyrides” had a car stickered for 18,500. Once I said I was interested we talked the numbers. Then said the car would be 20,500 because I wanted to finance the car??? What? So I tried to get out of the deal. The pressure was on. I could tell they really wanted to get rid of this car. After dinner the manager said he could bring the monthly payments down. So now honoring what the price was online. But that’s not where is ends. After dinner we walk into the office and the smell of marijuana filled the place. The manager Even tried to offer it to us. Long story short I finally. Had the car, everything was good until 1-2 weeks after purchase. Started to leak coolant! burn 1-2 quarts of oil in a month. I purchased the extended plus version of a 3rd party warranty. Which that company declined to pay for anything. I called the dealership to reach out for help and was given the typical “we will get in touch!” “Don’t worry man we are going to fix this for you!”The list could go for days. I have contacted them at least 6-8 times on separate occasions.
Excellent place to buy a car. They are very patient and work with you to help you find the car you are looking for. Chris Araujo was great to work with. Stop by and see him if you are looking for a great used car! I would definitely come back again if I need another car. 🙂
Super disappointing, drove over a hour to see a GMC. We know what we are looking for because we already own one. They need to post more pictures showing everything wrong with the car or we wouldnt bother the drive. Inside of car was disgusting they need to spend more time cleaning their cars (ashes in the back from someone smoking in it). Sterio didnt work because its not the sterio for the car its for a caddy. Just poor condition for a 2018. They werent interested in coming down on the price, Sales man said Good Luck when we said we wouldnt pay asking price. Didnt bother to ask us what we were thinking or wanting to offer just walked on off. Poor service, wish we would have had a different sales person who would have cared a little more.
Failed to disclose an accident on a vehicle I was looking at. They showed me the clean car fax report and then claimed their mechanic had checked it out and found nothing of note. Took it to my mechanic and he found clear evidence that the car had extensive (and shoddy) body work done on the front and entire left side. Their reaction made it seem as if they knew and were only surprised that they got caught. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a car and at the very least taking any vehicle to your own mechanic before purchasing.
We bought a car from them was missing parts they emailed us and gave us papers stating they would fix the issues and then when my father called to ask why he didn’t get the parts yet they cussed at him and said they aren’t getting the parts even though they signed us a paper stating that the car will be fixed. Also found a bunch of stuffed rigged up under the car that they said they fixed. Highly wouldn’t recommend going to them.
Showed up preapproved from my Credit Union and having already researched what I wanted. Chatted with Chris, and he helped me through the process AND ended up getting me an entire 5% less on the loan. Great guy. Good vehicles. Great place. Only bad thing was a service contract added that I didn’t know about, but that’s not a big deal...I’ll use it —from a combat vet
I have emailed, texted, and attempted to contact this dealership through their website BEFORE writing this review. Unfortunately, I have received no response from the finance manager or my sales rep in the days following my initial complaint. This review is based on my experience purchasing a vehicle through this dealership. Ill do my best to highlight the positives AS WELL as the negatives. I know this is lengthy, but it might give other potential customers an idea about what to watch out for!The service was GREAT during my purchasing phase. The staff was accommodating, setting up an appointment was a breeze, and I felt like I could trust these guys more than most dealerships.... until I actually purchased the vehicle. Everything went downhill from there FAST.While I experienced many issues, I understand that I bought an As Is vehicle, so to be fair, I wont cover anything that I hadnt discussed with the dealership during negotiations.First, I was not informed that two of the wheels were damaged. The tire pressure system had flagged potential problems during my test drive. When I asked about it, I was told the tires probably just needed some air. After driving it home and taking it to a local tire shop, I discovered that one tire had a nail in it and the other had a bent rim. Those two things alone cost me approximately $500 to replace immediately after purchasing the vehicle. The tire shop informed me that the bent rim had clearly received patchwork because the tire was heavily beaded. I cant say whether or not the dealership made this quick-fix, but they certainly should have discovered this during a routine inspection.I also discovered that no spare tire was present. The sales listing for the vehicle stated that a steel spare was included.Legally, a vehicle cannot be driven in Ohio without a front license plate. This car was was sold to me without a bracket installed to even hold one of these plates. As a result, I cannot legally operate the vehicle in the condition in which it was sold to me without risking a misdemeanor. As part of the vehicle sale, the dealership did commit to fixing a pull to the left. Instead of the initial expectation of a single day turn-around, the repairs took a little over a week after purchase. If that was the time required to correct the situation, I would TOTALLY understand. However, the pulling still remains and I am not confident this dealership plans to respond to any of my communications. The vehicle was also sold to me without a fully functional key. The fob could start the vehicle, but it isnt recognized as present in the car. Alarms sound when entering the vehicle after remote start and an error message displays. I was told this problem would go away with a change of battery. It did not. Finally, the last concern I am dealing with is a computer problem related to the hands-free system. I consider this the smallest issue, but one which I feel very mislead about. When I asked about the problem while picking up the car, the salesperson told me it was probably just an update and that dodge dealerships would take care of it free of charge. Neither of those things turned out to be accurate. In conclusion, I had much higher hopes for this place during my sale. Having never purchased a vehicle through a dealership, I am very disappointed to find that my hesitations were justified. I look forward to any resolution we can find over the next few weeks and I hope not to be stuck with all the resulting expenses!
I puchased my second car here today. I had a great deal again. I want to say thank you all John ,JR and Sam working so hard to make this deal. I loved this all simple open talk what they can do for me without playing games(you know).I definatley come back for our truck, too.
Nothing but a positive experience here. Everyone was very friendly, and they worked with my current car situation. They allowed me to take the car to a local dealer for a check (car was in great shape), and even offered to service the small issues that were found, AFTER the deal was done. A+ experience all around.
Went to check out a couple cars. One had a flat that needed filled just to drive it. Tried to tell me a vacuum leak would be a super cheap easy fix and not to worry about it. This was on a $9000 automobile that fair market value priced at $7500. Most cars are just flipped auction cars with nothing done to them before you purchase it. Will never return.
Sam Shepard called me back and we set up a time to look at a GMC Yukon. I was late getting there and Sam was gone. The Yukon was not what I was looking for. Sam called me a few days later and recommended a 2007 Escalade. I stopped up after work on December 27, 2018. Sam was correct that this was what I was looking for. An offer was made and accepted. I bought the car that evening. I made arrangements with Sam to pick up the car the following day. I would buy from them again.
Purchased a Honda SUV for our son and worked with Dylan. Called Dylan earlier in the day to ask about any body dings and tire wear, he text back a couple of pictures of minor issues and stated that the tires would need to be replaced. After our hour drive to the dealership Dylan had the car out front and washed ready for a test drive. He went over the body of the car and showed a couple of other small body issues. Took it for a test drive and everything seemed fine. We decided to purchase the car, not willing to wiggle much on the price, but they did put 4 new tires on at half cost, made a new second key (Honda keys are expensive) fixed a minor fender clip that was loose, and filled it with a full tank of gas.We had to sit there and wait 3 hours for all this to take place but I dont believe it was any fault of Dylans (he is young and a seasonal worker but seems to know his stuff, I would buy from him again in the future). He apologized for the delay and gave us updates, and the manager also apologized as well for not being quite up to their game in the time it was taking. My son likes the car, it has been only 2 days but dont see any issues with the car at this point except for some burned out lights that were easily replaced. If anything comes up that should have been taken care of prior to selling the car I will update.
Came to see one car, had a lot of issues yet they said it was perfect, including the fact the door handle was broken and missing so you couldnt get out of the driver side. I ended up buying a BMW that had absolutely no issues and was inspected by their mechanics yet within a week of owning it comes to find out the oil gasket is leaking, the struts are broken, the starter is bad, and the passenger seat has a broken sensor.Do NOT buy from here, all cars are from the auction, they buy them at very cheap prices and fix the cheapest issues they can to get them running and hand them over to you to fix all the other issues.
Great selection of cars, Korey was a great sales man and worked with me for the vehicle I purchased and the transaction was smooth and the Financial manager awnsered all my questions about out of state vehicle purchase and walked me through it. BUT they are not geared for young adults. Understandably they have to have a parent there with a good enough credit score to test drive vehicles. While the experience on the lot was great of fun the lot was different. 3 hours after buying a vehicle the alternator blew, they kindly replaced it the same day without use of my warranty. But the following days it was hesitant to start and misfired and they claim to have replaced the spark plugs and coil packs and the vehicle needed a tune when in actuality it was a high pressure fuel pump which is 800 and Audi found the spark plugs in my engine to be old and covered in grime. Be weary when buying a car here regardless of the service
I still cant get over how amazing this place was! I drove 1.5 hrs to check out an H2. I was looking to buy one and was willing to travel. They answered all of my questions before going there and when I got there were honest, friendly, and eased my buying nerves. I had some concerns and they promised to take care of them all. They got me a part I wanted and even installed it for free when it came in. The ease of the trade in was awesome and I cant stress enough how honest they were! I sat there for 8 hours waiting for my wife to sign papers and watched the sales people take to everyone that came in, even turning a couple away because the vehicle they came in for was not for them...honesty. My speedometer went out a few days after buying my H2 which is normal with the H2 and they went above and beyond to take care of it today for....free!! They take care of their customers and capitalize on every aspect of selling cars! I was worried about buying from a used car lot, but now WILL be back in 2 years for my daughters first vehicle and not have any worries during the process. Cant say enough about this dealership and EVERYONE who works there!!
Michael Maillis our employee and Project Manager purchase a truck on May 2, 2019 the staff was very nice and professional and was able to quickly get the credit approval. We recommend buying from Automotive Connection and are considering more truck purchases in the future.
Mary in payments has TERRIBLE customer service skills. I mean TERRIBLE! She talks to people as if we’re beneath her and she has ZERO empathy! Honestly just hoping to get this car paid off as SOON as possible so i no longer have to deal with that woman. They should look into hiring someone nicer and more personable. Otherwise the company itself is okay.
Our experience with Auto Connection was very satisfying. We were very happy with service representative Alina Galieva, she was very helpful and answered all our questions. She does a great job explaining all the details of the deal. Would highly recommend Alina, and will do busing as here again.
Very sketchy from the beginning! We made 2 trips of an hour each, one to test drive the truck and the second trip to go pick up the truck with the price they agreed on. They changed the price as we were about to write the check, they went back on their word. The whole deal was a little off. The communication was substandard. I will never do business with them and would not recommend to anyone.
Honestly if I could put zero stars I would. They buy cars off auctions and do nothing to them just throw them up for sale. They don’t care what kind of dangers there are. I just bought a 2008 vw Jetta. With in a week of owning it I have had to put in up to 1500 dollars on tires rims radiator. Anti freeze they couldn’t even do a simple tune up or just and oil change. I changed the oil and the oil was black and super thick. Keep in mind for all the work I had to do to the car in a week and a half I gave them 3000 dollars for the car. They don’t care about the customer period. They are super over priced for the cars they are selling. I just wonder what’s wrong with that mcclearan that they are selling for 140 thousand dollars. Keep in my that car was for my fiancé and child who she drives around with regularly more then I do. They wouldn’t even take a price drop for the 2 bad tires already on there. They don’t care let me repeat they don’t care. I bet the owner is gonna read this and delete this. With no response. After signing the as is no warranty. I hope you go out of business soon. I hope a competitor comes by soon and just simply takes care of their cars. I have plenty of picture I will post.
Went to check out a car. car had missing intake parts from engine, car had wrong bolts holding doors in place, every plastic on the inside of the wheel well had missing screws. body panel was also loose. paint errors everywhere, including a water bottle size mess up in the door. financing guy was very rude, as he sells “over 150 cars a week and doesn’t care if buy it or not”
Purchased a vehicle from this dealer and found out it was a repo from Northern Indiana even though was told it was a locally owned vehicle. The car has had nothing but major problems. And, not minor ones, expensive ones. All within 2,000 miles. Car was for my son and wished I had never purchased from this untrustworthy establishment. Price kept changing from advertised price. And the one huge red flag ~ be real cautious of the finance guy...he tried to add a $2k extended warranty on to our final sales contract saying that the finance company I was going thru would not make the deal unless I bought the warranty. Complete scam! I called the company financed thru and found this to be completely false. Needless to say, no extended third party warranty was purchased! Oh, and on the way home after picking up this vehicle, guess what? It broke down! Yep, they repaired it or put a band-aid on it possibly. This purchased opened my eyes for sure and will be going down as one of the worse purchases, ever! Absolutely do not recommend buying a car from this shady dealer.UPDATE ~ guess what car is beyond repair at this point. We just had it towed for I believe the 5th time. Starter and alternator gone this time. We have had this car 14 months and only driven this car maybe six of those months. I rarely write reviews...but this is ridiculous. I understand cars break down, but I believe this dealership knew all the major problems this car had. Clutch, exhaust, radiator, air conditioner, door handles both feel off, belts are broke, engine had major problems, ignition completely is a mess. Were told we probably need a new ignition cylinder. We have had to twice have new keys with the chip made, which was costly. I think we are done putting a dime into this car. I am paying it off in a few months, and writing it as a loss but remarkable lesson learned. This car was for my son. Whom has put all his hard earned paychecks into trying desperately to get this car to run. Did I mention this car broke down in the way home after buying it. These con artists did tow it back and put a bandaid on another problem. We also purchased new tires upon buying this car and they lasted no time at all. I believe resurfaced tires were out on, not new. Seems they buy alot of repossed cars so please everyone BEWARE! Just terrible place.
Allowed dealership to run credit check, they advised on interest rates and options. At that time we were not sure we wanted to purchase the vehicle due to some mechanical issues that we noticed on the Test drive as well as interest rates. 2 weeks after visiting the dealership we received a rejection letter from a bank we had never heard of for a loan we never applied for and this was the only place that we had allowed to even run a credit check on us so the information had to come from them to the bank. The vehicle we looked at was less than $15,000 and the loan amount on this rejection letter was nearly $20,000.1. We had not given permission to apply for loan.2. Loan amount was substantially higher than the asking price of the vehicle we looked at.Watch out when giving them permission to run a credit check!!!
BEWARE!!!This dealership is not trustworthy. They will lie to you and tell you anything to sell a vehicle. My wife and I drove 2 1/2 hours to buy a truck. When we arrived and inspected the truck it was clear that safety was not a priority to this dealership. The windshield wipers where so bad they fell apart in my wifes hand. The brakes where squealing before we left the lot . The battery cover had been removed, we asked why it was off and didnt get a answer. As we made made a deal on the truck to fix the brakes, replace the wipers and include a full tank of gas the owner decided after the deal to not give us a full tank, but a half tank. The brakes were supposedly replaced, but started making the same noise again before we got home. The check engine light came on also before we made it home so we called the dealership back and John was trying to help us but was unable to. We were asked to drive it back 2 1/2 hours with the check engine light on!!! After refusing to drive and damage the truck further (just to save the owner (Dima) a few dollars) Dima then began to yell at my wife over the phone constantly enterupting her. We have contacted truecar and our insurance company to warn people about this horrible business .
Bought a car for $7,995.. they told me that fincancing wouldn’t change the price. So I financed the car. Went to make a few payments, and come to find out the a**holes didn’t tell me that I’m now paying almost $14,000 for the car. They won’t tell you about the price change :-) con artists. No thanks, y’all can keep the car! Don’t buy from them, they WILL scam you!!
Ays agoAlina Galieva was awesome, and she fully know her job, very respectful and polite and so her boss. Both helped me to get the car that I like and at my budget. It was very awesome experience doing business with yall and I will continually doing so. I highly recommend Auto connections. Just check it out for yourself whenever you need a nice car.
I worked with Lisa she was more than helpful and answered all questions I had even after hours to make sure I was accomodsted which meant a whole lot ! Test drive the vehicle twice once was 10mins before closing. I put down very very little for them to hold the vehicle for one day for me. I came in with my capital one financing and was out the door within 2 hours the even brought the price down for me . By far one of the easiest transactions ever! Ppl please listen to me and give them a try, all cars are clean and she didnt hesitate to give me the carfax . The washed and gassed up my vehicle and was on my way ! Thanks again you all

2022-04-11We just purchased a car from this dealership. The car was super clean and a nice price, especially given the current market, and we got a fair trade for our old vehicle. Our salesperson was professional, competent and very helpful. All of the staff were friendly. The whole experience was positive. They also have a huge selection of nice cars. We would definitely buy from them again!

2022-08-22Just purchased a used car from this place and had a great experience, Alina really made the whole process very smooth. She was very helpful and friendly, not pushy or salesy at all. The vehicle was very clean and well cared for, and I felt like Alina gave us the best possible deal we could have hoped for. Ill probably come back to see her next time Im in the market.

2022-03-02Solid folks, worked to make sure our car was in decent shape before we bought it. You wont get pampered, you wont get the ultimate consumer experience - but youll get a good used car at a good price. Ill use them again if the need arises.

2022-05-26If I could leave less than 1 Star I certainly would. DO NOT CALL this company unless you want to be harassed continually by them. I called to inquire about a vehicle, did not leave my name or phone, told them if I was still interested I would contact them, well within 5 minutes I got a solicitation call from them, asked them to please stop, 5 minutes later another solicitation call, same thing Please stop calling me, about 30 minutes later another call, this time they simply hung up and then 30 minutes later call #4. This is harassment pure and simple. BUYER BEWARE

2022-05-14Awful attempted purchase of a vehicle. First, when we got there, the car I was looking at which was a sporty Audi, wasn’t there. Viktoria had to call and yell at him to get back here. When he did, he ramped the curb from rushing In and parked the car hard, leaving it with zero gas, which leads me toBelieve he was trashing a vehicle we wanted to buy. Second off we liked the car, sat down, and got to work. Viktoria accused me of faking my pay stubs before even seeing them. Once that hassle was over she called her boss. She asked me my monthly income and laughed on the phone right in front of me saying “yea that not a lot of money hahaha” which I found simply ludacris. There were two females buying a car next to us and the man helping them literally left to go to the gas station for snacks and hopped In a car to drive to the next building that was 50 feet away. After waiting hours for literally nothing we left empty handed. I wish the BBB could help out this place should be ashamed of themselves. Don’t go here…

2022-04-04Purchased my car about 3 years ago. Just found out today it was in an accident before I owned it. The employees did not notify me of this before purchasing. This seller does nothing to assuage the sheisty and underhanded reputation that car salesmen are associated with. Would not recommend.

2019-11-22Sam and the team gave me top notch service on getting my new winter driver. They got the money where I needed it and got the approval even while Im fixing my credit from being out of work. Great team and great cars. You are a person here not just another car buyer.
