My 8 yr old son’s eye Dr was downtown at the cleveland clinic. We were looking for a place close to home and took a chance with Aurora Eye Care. We are so glad we did! Dr Smargiasso was great, even with a rambunctious kid! We will continue to be patients of Aurora Eye Care!

My wife and I visited Aurora eyecare this afternoon for our annual eye exams. I have to say that the staff there and Dr. Smargiasso treated us exceptionally well. We love the small hometown business that Aurora EyeCare gives. The eyewear and staff expertise are top-notch. They dont have the cheap stuff that you see advertised on late night TV, and theres no owl talking to you.Would recommend this place to all the local residents and anyone else who would like to receive quality I care.

We absolutely love Dr. Smargiasso and the rest of the staff at Aurora Eye care!!They are so helpful and attentive to my kids especially and we couldn’t be happier!They have fixed my daughters glasses within minutes in her pre-teen “crisis” moment and were so quick and kind about it, and sat with my daughter for what seemed like hours through her first time contact lesson, with complete patience.Love this office ❤️ 👓

Awesome experience! My 6 year old was having some strange eye concerns so we took her in to Aurora Eye Care. Dr. Smargiasso was amazing!! My daughter was nervous but he made her feel comfortable. He made the visit seem like it was a fun game. He had little fingers toys to keep her engaged. His dad skills definitely came out to make her feel comfortable and at ease! His staff was just a pleasurable to work with as well. The office itself was very clean and covid friendly. Highly recommend!!

Dr. S is super personable and informative through the exam. He was honest about my eye care options. Highly recommend! Also, I had an eye emergency on a Saturday and he saw me at the end of the day just to make sure everything was fine. The staff is excellent. Love the practice.

I was looking for an eye dr. since my glasses broke and I hadn’t had an eye exam in years and I moved to Aurora 2 years ago and decided to try them out. The staff was absolutely amazing. Their frame choices were great and priced very reasonably and Dr. Smargiasso was the nicest and funniest eye dr. I’ve ever been to. I found my eye dr. for life. Thanks everyone at Aurora Eye Care.
Was not greeted by eye care associate in a warm, professional manner and felt pushed out by the eyeglass tech to help other customers. Eye doctor was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable however, it was difficult to see to decide on new glasses when my eyes were dialated.The new eyeglass frame cracked within 6 months of purchase and then was accused by eye care associate that I dropped them. Makers of the frame replaced frame without charge however, the frame cracked AGAIN and when discovered by the same eye care associate, I was accused AGAIN that I banged the side of the frames and thats why they cracked. I left with loose, broken frames and no apology from associate after I confronting her about both her accusations. I WILL NOT be back to this place after all the trips, poorly made frames, and the lack of professional, compassionate associates.
Aurora eye care understands what customer service means. Always professional, friendly and accommodating. I have complete trust in Dr Smargiasso. He sets his patients at ease while throughly evaluating their eyes. I highly recommend him for all you eye care needs!!!

I can’t say enough about how professional everyone is in the office. This is probably one of the nicest staff I have encountered.Dr. Smargiasso has always taken my appointment’s above and beyond. He makes sure he understands any of the issues your having pertaining to your eyes and comes up with a solution. You never feel rushed during your appointment and he seems to remember your conversations from one appointment to the next time you see him.

My 91-year-old mother is a resident at the Anna Maria nursing home where shes going through rehab for a broken back. She dropped her glasses today and the lens popped out so I took them to Aurora Eye Care to be repaired. They greeted me in the parking lot in a mask, repaired the glasses including adding new nose pads, and didnt charge me for it. Thats great customer service in my opinion. Very nice, kind people work here!

Receptionist is very rude. Called to make an appointment. You could tell the receptionist was going to be rude right from the start from answering the phone. I told her I needed to make a doctors appointment so she got all my information just to tell me she can’t help me because they’re booked for the next year. 2022-01-13This office is outstanding! From the moment you walk in you feel like a life long customer vs someone they see once a year! The front desk staff is wonderful! They are so proactive and make the visit so easy! And Dr. S is such a great Dr. and so comforting! I highly recommend Aurora Eye Care!

2022-06-29This eye doctor is incredible. Im so glad I switched to him. I can see better in my sixties than I could in my forties. If you are patient and try his suggestions for contacts you can get rid of those reader glasses. You have to give it at least 3 weeks. I cant believe that I can read price tags in the store again without pulling out a pair of glasses. He is absolutely the best!

2022-03-21Dr. Smargiasso and his whole staff is top notch. I tell everyone I know to go here if they are looking for an excellent, knowledge and friendly eye doc! The best one I’ve ever been to. Feel like you can easily chat with the whole staff and doctor and has a sense of community. Can’t say enough 5 star things about this place. Highly recommend, 10/10!

2022-06-24So glad I found Aurora Eyecare! They are so thorough with their eye exams. Everyone is very helpful a courteous. And I also have to mention that the office is so pretty. I had the daunting task of trying to find new eyeglass frames (as backup to my contacts). They took their time showing me all kinds of frames and helped me narrow down what looked best and felt comfortable. I’m very appreciative of the time spent helping me. I never felt rushed. And they even helped me find the best value using my Eyecare insurance!
