I’ve been a patient of Dr. Caputo and Aurora Dental for twenty years. The staff is well trained and friendly. They run an efficient office; I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for my scheduled appointment. All of the equipment is new and state of the art. Most important I trust Dr Caputo and his staff, be it for a simple cleaning or more extensive dental work. They’re “kid friendly” too! Highly recommended!
I haven’t been to the dentist in about 7 years and I was very nervous about going for the first time since it had been so long. As soon as I walked through the door, my nervousness subsided and it was a great experience with Aurora Dental. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to my needs that I really felt valued as a patient. They were able to fit me in quickly and the doctor listened to all my concerns. Needless to say, I will be recommending Aurora Dental to all my friends and family for their dental needs!
The office manager Marilyn is the most unprofessional person you could have running this location. Good luck in the future as you will need it with her. Dont worry about a response as Im sure you will only offer excuses. I would give zero stars if possible. I guess racial and homophobic terminology is part of their office culture. Dont support these terrible people.
I stumbled upon Aurora Dental when i needed a root canal and my dentist at that time couldnt do it and the staff wouldnt even call around to help me find relief from some of the worst dental pain i had ever had. I worked out in Streetsboro and called Aurora Dental out of desperation. The woman who took my call advised there werent any appointments open on such short notice but she could hear the pain in my voice. There may have been tears as well. lol She placed me on hold and went and asked a Dr to find somewhere, anywhere to fit me in. I will forever be grateful to her for that. I walked into the office and the quality of the office exceeded any expectation i thought a dental office could have. The items they offer for relaxation and the view of the water really relaxed me as much as possible during my time of agony. They took care of me right away and i felt relief for the first time in a week. This place is the of the highest quality and care. I am now working from home in Boardman and i will still continue to drive the 55 minutes out to Aurora for all of my dental needs. Also I just need to point out that Kacey is absolutely fantastic. She is amazing at her job but she also makes it feel like im just coming in to see a friend every time. My anxiety in going to the dentist has never been lower. Thank you so much!
Place was amazing. Super Clean and very friendly staff. Sarah Robereki was the best. She was very helpful , pleasant to talk to and was always smiling. Highly recommend Aurora Dental.
This review is overdue and I should have written this review sooner. I can start by saying that I had my best experience as a patient. Front desk, administrative staff, assistants, and Dr. Caputo, they are all the true meaning of a professionals. I was in the middle of relocation process moving from Ohio to Texas, literally the day before the movers show up. I started with an intense tooth pain the day before and tried three places and they all were busy and did not have an opening (understandable). I called Aurora Dental at 8:30 am (approximately) and they asked if I was able to make it at 10 am, same day. Once I showed up, the front desk personnel were so nice, efficient, and professional. As soon as I walked back to the exam room, I noticed they were really busy with other patients but they took the time and courtesy of asking me to come in and be treated. When Dr. Caputo showed up (less than 10 min) he examined, diagnosed, and started the treatment. I was in at 10:00 am and gone at 11:15 am. Efficient, technically savvy, and cost effective. So, Thank you! Thanks for still being one of those few businesses that understands clients/patients need! If yall ever come to San Antonio please let me know and visit our business and we hope be able to host you at the same level of care as you all did for me! Thank you.
I always have had a great experience at Aurora Dental. They have the most upbeat staff and are very courteous. They keep my kids occupied too when I have to bring them with me sometimes by asking them questions and explaining equipment to them! The dental assistants are super gentle with my cleanings too which is not the case at other offices. Their facility is clean and pretty quiet too.
I completely understand that not all insurances are accepted. What frustrated me about the experience is I not only provided my insurance information over the phone, but also submitted it via email prior to taking time off work to make the appointment. I think I could have been told BEFORE walking into the office that my insurance was not accepted.
Ive been going to Aurora Dental Associates for a number of years now. While I dont love dental visits, they make it a pleasant and quick experience. Dr. Caputo and his entire staff are professional and courteous. I am completely confident in having them take care of my teeth! I dont hesitate to recommend them.
Every staff member who has been here for very long knows to treat you like a friend! They have been overly kind to me with all my issues of dental anxiety and sensitive teeth. I’d recommend them to anyone. I’m surprised that there were any poor reviews. It must had been a rare day at Aurora Dental. Jackie was amazing with my 4 yr old grandson and his first trip to the dentist!!’
Staff is both highly qualified and courteous. Always get me in on time. They issue timely reminders of my appointments. They have appointments that meet my needs and are very flexible if I have to change an appointment. Dr. Caputo is an excellent dentist, he is thorough and technically proficient.
Aurora Dental is wonderful. I never sit in the waiting room for more than a moment. My cleanings are always thorough and Dr. Caputo takes his time with me.They also do a good job of reminding me of my appointments and getting me in for check ups.If you are looking for a dentist in the Aurora, Bainbridge, or Streetsboro area I highly recommend Aurora Dental.
It had taken me 20 years to get back to the dentist. First visit I had cleaning and treatment plan for crown on a fractured tooth, implant where one had been extracted and a filling. All went so smooth in the first to recommend this office to everyone. I’ve referred more than a dozen friends and family all having great experiences as well.
I have been going to Aurora Dental and Doctor Caputo for many years now and he is top notch. He and his staff have a deep passion for their patients I have not seen anywhere else. They keep up with the latest in technology and I always feel at ease there (I am not the easiest patient to deal with.) Highly recommended, and you will love his humor too. Don’t trust your molars to anybody else!
This dental office is by far the best in northeast Ohio! The dentist called me up personally to talk about my concerns, and there was absolutely no waiting either time I was there. Also The office staff is the most professional and efficient that Ive ever seen and my teeth have never been cleaner..
I love it here. Ive avoided going to the dentist for a while since moving into the area and finally made an appointment. Jill cleaned my teeth and she is wonderful. Super informative and warm, not too mention a very thorough cleaning. Dr. Caputo is also funny and very friendly. Highly recommended!!
At my age, one would think I would not hate going to the dentist for ANY reason, but up till now I always have. Not any longer -- not only are you made to feel like family and like you are really cared about, but the entire staff is incredible. From the moment you walk in, you feel the friendliness. And the entire group of professionals are so darn good at their jobs that it is truly the first time I have ever NOT hated going to the dentist. Thanks for being there for me!
Ive just started to go to Aurora Dental. Ive only been there twice but I know this is going to be a long relationship. The staff is friendly and efficient. This is the only time I have unclenched my fists while my teeth were being cleaned. The doctor takes his time. Everything is carefully explained before its being done.

I have not been to visit this office, but as a new resident in the area called to see if I could make an appointment. I disclosed my insurance status up front and was told that they were not taking new patients with state coverage (I found this practice via my insurance providers doctor search and then looked up their reviews on google -- which seemed to speak for themselves). When I asked about paying out of pocket, I was placed on hold, and when the staff member returned told again that they were not accepting patients with state coverage even if paying out of pocket. When I asked if they anticipated being able to take new patients with state coverage at some point in the near future because I wasnt understanding if this was a temporary thing or permanent, the staff member I spoke to just repeated herself in a very short discourteous manner that they were not taking patients with state coverage. Not once did she even offer to ask for my phone number to possibly contact me if availability should arise. Ive never felt so disrespected and turned down in entirety based on insurance status -- perhaps I dodged a bullet with this one. Im wondering though if I called back in a few days and asked to schedule an appointment without disclosing my insurance coverage upfront, if they would have at least attempted to take my information.
Dentist are good accounting and billing terrible after prepaying for services because of miss billing insurance getting a bill for 538 dollars got question from insurance took to there office they tell me i was overbilled they will sent to main office about 2 monyhs go by get a bill 538. Call main office she would not listen and overtalked me not letting me speak i hung up, get a letter they dont want me as a patient ok not to happy with them either oh and we are not giving you records forward sent me to collections. Take what you want from this they are good dentists. But accounting nope.pp
Took my daughter here and they gave us a referral for an oral surgeon out in Beachwood. After two attempts of trying to schedule with the referral doctor and them not returning my call. When I finally got a hold of them they were extremely snotty towards me because Aurora dental did not fill out the referral card.
The staff at Aurora Dental made my experience fun and painless. I was counseled on work I needed and the procedures involved. They are very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. So glad I go there.
For 17 years, we used to travel 45 minutes from Bainbridge Township to our dentist in Strongsville because of the care that we received there. Then, in 2009, we met Dr. Russ Caputo. While his Aurora location was desirable, we were not willing to change our expectations for the level of service that we have experienced. Dr. Caputo and his staff are incredible. The level of service far exceeds our expectations. Personal, friendly, and efficient are just a few of the words that would describe our care. You better add comfort to the list as well. No matter what the procedure, we have always felt comfortable in the care of any staff member of Aurora Dental Associates. You will too.Jim & Joan
Had a much needed root canal here, absolutely no pain during the entire thing, very thankful. Amazing service, very understanding and hardworking dentists, overall a great experience.
Absolutely terrible. Dr. Caputo was kind and comical to start and then became very rude and inconsiderate when things didn’t go his way/as planned. He treated us like outcasts. Same goes for the hygienist that assisted us—no personality or communication skills. After being scrutinized and degraded, Dr. Caputo stormed out of the room very unprofessionally. I would not recommend to anyone.
After them rescheduling and me confirming the appt 2X, I waited 35 min and a guy came in after me who had an appt a week later whom they took and then finally came to get me as I was walking out. Book what you can handle, over booking helps no one. We schedule appts for a reason. Anyone know a good dentist in the Aurora area? Sad because I liked the dentist the first time there...
My wife and I have been going to Aurora Dental for years. We find the frendly atmosphere, professional service and comfortable physical space the real reason why we are so loyal. Dr. Caputo and his whole team are top notch.
I loved my hygienist, she was very personable and knowledgeable. My cleaning was pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Caputo and his staff! They go above and beyond!

I want to send a HUGE Thank You to Dr. Caputo and his staff at Aurora Dental!My daughter was at Streetsboro dental to see about her tooth ache she had. Dr. Hocackiane who was treating her there had said she needed to pull her tooth so they injected her to numb her to pull it out. Well the numbing didnt take and the dr tried pulling the tooth with pliers then when that didnt work she started to drill at the tooth to break it apart. At this point my daughter was in so much pain and crying so bad the Dr told her she had an infection in the tooth and that was probably why the numbing wasnt working so gave her a script for an antibiotic and told her to come back on Monday. Needless to say she called me crying in pain the Dr left her tooth cracked in her mouth with nothing for her pain. I called Aurora Dental and even without them taking her insurance policy they did under this circumstance and saw her immediately and had NO problem getting her numb and pulled the tooth out. I am so ever grateful for thier help and will always refer them to everyone I know! Beware of Streetsboro Dental!!!Theresa Szachury
I like the office, the people and the treatments. However, its IMPOSSIBLE to change an appointment. I just called to reschedule an April appointment and the first available was mid-July. The best treatment is meaningless if you cant get in the chair. Perhaps they have outgrown the space.

Aurora Dental has been my “home dentist” for many years now. I love it there! Everyone is so friendly/prompt/and really have your best interest in mind!!! They suggest options that you may benefit from (such as whitening or fluoride) but they are NEVER high pressure! I’d DEFINATELY suggest Aurora Dental to my friends!!
Absolutely horrible. I would not recommend going to this facility at all. The staff was beyond rude. We have 12 people in my family who used to go here and no longer be attending this horrendous place.

2022-05-15The dentists at Aurora Dental are wonderful. My experience was totally pain free. The staff are very friendly. My only complaint is a financial one. At my last visit I was informed I had a credit on my account but they were holding it in case something serious cropped up. I waited a little over a year and called the office to get refunded. It was verified I did have a (sizable) credit and she would let the office manager know I requested the refund. Several weeks passed and I heard nothing so I called and lo and behold my credit was gone. Instead a couple of adjustments had been made to my account so I was at a zero balance. I requested an explanation of these adjustments and have heard NOTHING from them. For that reason I cannot recommend them.

2021-12-22Cancelled an old appointment because my new insurance was out of network, received a call from the office assuring me they were in network, and today I receive a bill for 363$ that I can’t afford. Would recommend you to avoid. To add, when I called to try to resolve this issue I was informed of their collection policy with 0 flexibility.

2021-03-08I had been battling severe tooth pain for several days. I finally called as I work close to this office. They were able to get me in quick and resolved the issue. Friendly staff, took the time to explain the process and why I needed a different scan instead of just the regular X ray. Its a beautiful office with new equipment, completely different than my old dentist. Would recommend!

2021-10-18Sent an email about my tooth aching pretty good. No one emailed or called me back. I called them back and got in. Dr. gave me Amoxicillin. Again, No one called me to see how I was doing afterwards. The amoxicillin did not help. Went back to the office with increased pain. His associate then asked me if anyone told me that I had a cracked tooth? I said no. The pain was evermore increasing and I left the office without an alternative antibiotic. Again, no one bothered to check on me. Last weekend the pain traveled from my upper right gum to my face and now I was experiencing severe headaches. I nearly ended up in the hospital. I finally found Great Dental care elsewhere. Now I have people who really care about me. I get texts, emails and phone calls. What a difference it is when your given the attention you need when your in severe pain. Also, Dr. Caputo needs to quit addressing his aging patients as Young Lady as he did with me. Ive sent an email much like this one to their office. Again, No Reply! Shocking!

2020-08-28I have an extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. Just making an appointment can make me cry and fill me with fear.I had a broken tooth that needed attention so my husband made me an appointment. The staff took great care in understanding my fears and took every measure to make me feel safe and comfortable. It turned out that the broken tooth had an infection and needed to be extracted. It was their kindness and care that helped to ease my anxiety to arrange for the procedure. I can not say enough how grateful I am to the staff and doctors for a painless experience.I am grateful to Marilyn for taking the time to talk to me and thankful for her words of encouragement. Dr. Garcia is the kindest and most gentle doctor and I am fortunate to feel I was in good hands.I believe I can honesty say my fears have eased and am less scared of future visits. Thank you all.

2021-02-12I recently started using this Dental Practice and couldn’t be more pleased. The staff is so inviting and considerate. I went because of pain in my mouth and was told that I had an old filling on the bottom right that had fallen out and I needed a filling and the pain in the rest of my mouth was recessed gums. They filled the tooth and gave me some ointment for my gums. My previous Dental Practice told me I needed 2,000.00 worth of Dental work.I am also very hard of hearing and they were patient and kind explaining things multiple timesAurora Dental is who my Family and I will see from now on and will refer friends and family

2021-06-18I would not recommend this office to anyone with decent morals and any kind of human compassion. Unfortunately the office manager Marilyn condones racial and homophobic slurs to be said in her presence and also contributes to these demeaning conversations as well. Anyone with a decent moral compass will stay far far away!

2020-08-29Jackie Mazur is a fantastic dental hygienist! I was fearful of dentist, co worker suggested Aurora Dental. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The follow up is on spot perfect and the speed they get you in and out is impressive. Thank you for your hard work!!!
