Auer Towing and Recovery. While traveling from Illinois to Pennsylvania on June 10, 2018 our front right wheel fell off our car. Every lug post was sheared off. The driver that picked us up was very kind and professional. We had our car loaded for the trip. He helped us unload it to the truck, drove us to the hotel we had to stay in for the night. He even offered to help me carry all the luggage to our hotel room. Now that is service. The owner of Auers also suggested a shop that we have the car towed to for service. We were truly blessed to have had Gearharts Garage in Ashland suggested as the place to be towed to. If you live or are a traveler needing towing service, dont call anyone else. Call Auer only. Truly a lifesaver. The rest of our trip to Pennsylvania and back home was perfect!
If I could give this place 0 STARS I would giant rip off and very poor service BEWARE STAY AWAY
All I ask for in a towing company is to be courteous, timely, and professional. I received all of that with Auer. Now dont get me wrong, I hope that I never need their services again, but if i do, i know Ill be taken care of.

He even had a cold and offered to help in any way he could. They do tow to their lot until insurance tells thems where to take it

2022-05-02My husband and I had an unexpected vehicle break down. Lance was the tow truck driver that showed up. He was knowledgeable and professional. He helped to make a bad situation better. The service was quick after they were notified we needed Auers service. I hope to not need them again but will contact then first and directly if the need arises in the future.

2021-06-08My friends car died on the side of the road and pushed into a private establishment. A cop happen to be passing by and got involved so it had to be towed because it was in the parking lot of a business. As I got to the car to see if I could help in anyway, I asked if I could get in the car to retrieve his girlfriends medicine in the back seat. The car was hooked up, but was not yet being pulled onto the truck. The driver was absolutely rude and refused to let me get into the vehicle for medicine... I would never recommend this company because their lack of professionalism and respect.

2018-02-28Great people! Went above and beyond to come and help us when our AAA Gold Membership couldnt even come and get us until the morning 100 miles from home. Helped us locate a local mechanic and have greatly exceeded my expectations of what a tow truck company could do. Thanks again guys!

2019-01-28The woman answering the phone is terribly rude. She is definitely doing a good job at causing those men to loose business. I will never call them again because of her. I will definitely call Gibbs anytime I have car trouble and I recommend them to anyone who is fed up with the woman on the phone lmao Gibbs is the best and their is NO hateful woman answering the phones.
