I booked this hotel through booking.com. I was sent a confirmation number as well as a message from the hotel confirming my reservation. The day of arrival, once traveling all morning to arrive in Athens, I see a message has arrived from the hotel. When I open the message it apologizes and says they are unable to book my room due to overbooking. Ummm… what? This hotel already sent me a confirmation of my room separate from booking.com. Upon further investigation I find the booking rate was way lower than the weekend rate they were independently selling rooms for. I believe I was bumped out for money. I would have paid more. I traveled almost 3 hours only to be unable to find another hotel in the area due to late notice. I returned home wasting 5 hours of time and gas, but more importantly disappointing my daughter by being unable to be there for her. BEWARE!!! When booking this hotel!! My reservation never was canceled(even though I had no room)and my card was still on file to be charged. I had to go through booking.com to cancel the charges for a room this hotel pushed me out of but didn’t cancel??😡😡. Please, please make sure you actually have a room at this hotel before traveling. Completely unprofessional!!!!
I have traveled to many parts of the U.S. and have stayed at many hotels but I was so impressed with this Hotel from the moment I stepped through the door! The check in service was fast and extremely welcoming! They even offered me a glass of champagne to take up to my room..... it was a wonderful cheerful treat! When I arrived to my room I was pleasantly surprised to see how tastefully modern and CLEAN the room was ..... you can smell the refreshing cleanliness of the room which is a PLUS in my book. The king size bed was so comfortable that I slept like a log and this is coming from someone with back issues....I slept like a princess:)And guess what???? You walk into the bathroom in the middle of the night and the lights goes on automatically ....I loved that feature!!!In my book its the ONLY place to stay when visiting downtown Athens!I will be back!
We stayed in an expensive two bedroom room in hopes of finding a nice experience. The A/C system was unresponsive, and the room experienced a lot of noise from the road.To top it off on the morning of checkout, while getting ready for graduation, we received five phone calls telling us to vacate the room immediately as checkout is exactly at 11am. After the fifth phone call they gave us 20 minutes extra to finish getting ready.Really frustrating to pay a huge amount of money on a hotel room on a very important day to just be hassled about checking out 20 minutes late.Every other hotel Ive stayed in on the planet has an optional late checkout without the added pleasure of being harassed by the staff five times in a 20 minutes period.
My account was charged an extra 350$ and received nothing more than a shoulder shrug. I drove from Pennsylvania and definitely need that money to travel back. I realize it will eventually be back in my account, but that’s not very helpful considering I need to be back for work. The manager was zero help and not easy to get ahold of. I was given her email and nothing more. I was also refused a late checkout because I used a 3rd party to book the room. After charging me 350$ that’s the least they could have done, Or comped the room, SOMETHING.Also. The rooms are ALRIGHT. Beds are hard, shower floor was visibly dirty. Overall just not a great stay and not worth the money.
I booked a room last minute for my husband, 18 month old, and I to take a break overnight between our long drive from South Carolina to Michigan. While booking the room, we had high expectations, especially for the price. Upon arrival, we were pretty impressed with the clean, modern look. Check in seemed to take longer than a normal hotel, and we were the only ones checking in at the time. When we entered our room, we were pretty impressed at first. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, along with the pillows. It felt that the bed actually leaned down towards the head of the bed. The pillows were awful as well. The hotel provides you with 2 water bottles in your room, and water from a decanter in the lobby. The vending machine only has sparkling water, and seemed to be sold out of every other beverage option. Then came the partying and noise. I understand this is in a college town, but for the price of the hotel, guests entering should be more regulated, along with restrictions on quiet times. I did have to ask the front desk twice to resolve the issue with the loud music and stomping. It doesnt help that the hotel itself is poorly built with paper thin walls, and windows. You can hear the person above you opening and closing their blinds. The hotel draws you in with the aesthetics, but DO NOT stay here unless you plan on not sleeping. We were very disappointed with the experience and environment for the price we paid. I see the only negative comment the hotel responded to, was one that could possibly be fake, because the google name did not match any reservation name they had. So if you decide to do that to mine, my full name is Melanie Justick and we stayed there 3/26/21-3/27/21.
Absolutely amazing!!! You will love every inch of of this hotel. Perfect waking distance from Court St and close East State St and so much more. The front desk overall was perfect! From checking in/out, questions, requests etc. The room was beautiful! The bed was very comfortable, had one of the best rests of my life on it. The television in the room was awesome! Don’t even get me started about the bathroom. Loved it! The breakfast area and breakfast was great! Parking was no issue at all, car was visible from our room.Overall, this place earns the 5 stars, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy! :)
My husband and I stopped at this hotel on our way from NC to IN. We drove all day and we’re very tired. The receptionist welcomed us nicely and was very professional. Check in was easy and fast and we soon headed to our room. The room was beautiful, clean, and the shower was big! There were complimentary drinks in the fridge which was great after a long day. About 10 mins after we got to our room the receptionist came to our door with champagne and chocolates. It was a great surprise! The bed was comfortable and we liked the large TV. Check out was easy and fast too! We had a great stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
Beautifully designed and walking distance to campus, this hotel has incredible customer service! We were greeted at the door, given roses and champagne at check-in, and personally attended at the self-serve breakfast. With special permission, we were able to leave our car there during the day while we took care of a campus visit. The hotel is sleek and modern. The linens and towels smell amazing and are very soft. Our room had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, Iron/ironing board, and hairdryer. The shower had rain shower options. It looks very fancy with the floor to ceiling windows! I enjoyed looking at the moon and a beautiful sunrise and had some great workouts on the gym equipment (no pool). We had such a great stay!(The only minor suggestion I would make to management is to move the individual coffee maker away from the charging outlets as water does spill when you fill it. The charging outlet was attached to the dresser and the coffee maker cord wasnt accessible.)
As soon as we walked through the front door of the hotel we were greeted enthusiastically. Each of the staff were friendly, smiled and made sure that you were well accommodated. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. The shower was top notch!Being walking distance to points of interest around uptown Athens is so convenient as well.Definitely hit on all marks, 5 stars!
We were greeted with a very friendly staff and the hotel smelled great as soon as you stepped in. Not 5 minutes after getting into our room, we get a knock on the door and were served champagne and chocolate. The rooms were extremely clean, modern decor, and the showers are AMAZING. Came for a mini getaway, would definitely come back and recommend highly.
After having a horrible cabin experience in Hocking Hills and leaving a day early, we found this hotel online and booked it with only a couple hours notice. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff is top notch. We had a hand written greeting from the manager on our table at arrival and champagne and chocolates were brought to our door after checking in. Our mini fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks and fuzzy robes are complimentary too :) Having 3 small kids in tow, the large 65 TVs were a big hit (there were two of them in our suite!) The rain shower is lovely and shampoo and conditioner are inside the shower. Wonderful place to stay if you want to just grab the clothes on your back and get away. Everything is provided for you! It is within walking distance to everything and masks are required by town ordinance, which made us feel very safe as well. The beds are a little uncomfortable and we could hear loud traffic from Stimson, but these are minor compared to the comfort of the rest of our stay.
Beautiful boutique hotel property. Extremely well appointed. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional, which really adds to the high-end hotel experience the property sets out to achieve. When we were delivered champagne and chocolate (a delight) I mentioned how appropriate since we were in town for our anniversary. Within 10 minutes, the staff insisted we accept an upgraded room and then surprised us when we returned from dinner by decorating our room with candles (electric) and rose petals.Believe the hype! The AC delivers an experience. That said, I have to agree with some comments I saw about the thin walls. I was woke in the middle of the night by other returning guests who, by the sounds of things, were returning from the bars - conveniently within walking distance - and I could hear them clearly from the time they arrived on the parking lot until they fell asleep in their rooms. However, I think part of the noise problem is in the details of the property such as the very modern central HVAC units that are essentially silent, hence no white noise. But it wasnt bad enough or inconvenient enough to cost even half a star from my review.
It is a beautiful hotel and bed were very comfortable. The location was not the best though. The loud vehicles outside woke us up throughout the night. The entire wall was a window, so it did not block out much noise. Also, the room itself was so small. Made it hard for our family of 5 to maneuver within the space.
From the moment you walk into this gem of a boutique hotel luxury, style and first class customer service surround you. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with small touches that make a world of difference like the memory foam shower mats and spacious king size beds. The staff are courteous and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The furnishings are tasteful, modern and elegant and the floor to ceiling windows allow you views of the local area. The super sized flat screen TV and the comfy leather chairs assure even the pickiest travelers will find comfort and entertainment. Not to mention the small touches like the champagne welcome when you check in. A new hotel in Athens, I have no doubt this secret will get out soon! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone for a night or longer!
After driving nearly nine hours I stopped to stay at this hotel. At approximately 1am, I was woken up by loud noises and pounding on my door and the walls. The group next to me in room 212 was blasting music and throwing a party. I had to call down twice to the front desk in order to get this rectified and even when the front desk came up she did not appropriately handle the situation, so much so that the group of men partying did not take her seriously and instead invited her to join them. I had to come out of my room and talk to them myself. The next day I was told by the front desk the manager would reach out to me and I heard nothing, not an apology, no attempt to make things right. I was also told that the manager apparently personally knew the individuals in the room that woke me up. Absolutely terrible experience and would not recommend anyone stay here if they want a decent night sleep. Additionally, after talking to other guests, this is a regular occurrence at the hotel and outside parties in Athens also keep guests up. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything.
Very pleased with our stay! From reception to check out everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Location to restaurants, bars and Ohio University campus is very convenient. The small details were very nice - champagne at check out and place settings at the breakfast table. Highly recommend!!
The rooms are beautiful, especially the beds! Theyre very comfortable & the showers are amazing! The staff was very polite and helpful. Id recommend this hotel to everyone! It was a great experience & I plan on coming back in the future! Amanda Clark was a great host!!
Booked last minute for the wrong dates, including a glitch in the third party booking site that made two reservations, and asked for a full refund or at least a partial refund to cover their lost revenue. I spoke to the manager, Amanda, and rather than saying the hotel had a no-cancellation policy within three days of the booking dates (which another employee later told me was their general policy), she claimed the booking site had to provide me a refund, but that the hotel had no way to return the money to them and on to me (basically saying the third party had to eat the cost instead of the hotel, which wanted to keep my money—in fact, when I straight up asked Amanda if this is what she expected the booking site to do, she claimed they do it all the time). When I called back after speaking to the booking site, which said all they needed was the hotel to approve the refund, I spoke to another employee who said they had no idea what Amanda was talking about as it’s fairly straightforward to approve getting the charge reversed, and then told me about the cancellation policy that was probably the real reason.Honestly, I understand a firm no-cancelation policy, which is why I asked to negotiate for a partial refund. What I will call out is being gaslighted by a manager who claims there’s no way for them to reverse a charge and the third party has to give out refunds while the hotel keeps the money. Maybe using a booking site meant they could only give me a full refund or no refund, in which case I would have been happy to pay the hotel a cancellation fee directly. But I’m giving this hotel one star for being intentionally misleading on this.
The room was clean and the staff were friendly, however, the walls are extremely thin and if they put you in an adjoining room, you can hear everything the person in the next room says. For a hotel that it supposed to be fairly high end we were super disappointed. Also, you can hear traffic outside of your room all night long. I feel like anyone that is somewhat of a light sleeper would not be happy staying here.
From the big windows and stunning rooms to the prime location, Athens Central Hotel is the best place to stay! They have comfortable beds with big TV’s and give you complimentary drinks in your room. The best part, though, is the different settings of the shower! My girlfriend and I certainly enjoyed our experience & the front desk person made it a fast easy check in process... You can’t beat that!
For the price, rooms had extremely poor quality furniture, beds, and linens. Sterile, uninviting room, as if they were going for a dorm room aesthetic. Walls are paper thin. Shower has options, but poor water pressure. Stairwell seem unfinished. Lobby had a distinct chlorine odor at all times. As an OU alum with many friends still in the area, I come back to Athens often, but will not be staying here again.
Nice location. However during my stay they allowed someone to pound in a locked door while screaming “BOB!! BOB!!” from 6am - 6:45am. Needless to say the rest of the hotel woke. When I called the front desk they told me “the deadbolt was locked, they couldn’t find the master key, and the guest was deaf.” I reminded her that if he’s deaf he wouldn’t suddenly wake up by hearing his name being yelled. A brief time later, I passed the room and the couple. He was not deaf but possibly overdosed. It was a room full of junkies. And your management did not have a problem with it.
The Athens Central Hotel combines all of the amenities of a larger city boutique hotel with the hospitality of SE Ohio. The rooms are beautifully furnished with the latest technology and large picture windows. My husband is 63 and normally struggles with hotel showers, but he loved the elevated shower fixtures. But its really the staff that shines. They go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. Did I mention the complimentary breakfast is much nicer than most hotels? They even have mimosas! Plus the staff member is very accommodating and ensures everything is fresh! I highly reccomend the Athens Central Hotel if youre looking for a locally owned hotel with amenities that exceed the similarly priced area chain hotels.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The hotel and the rooms are immaculate! Very spacious rooms and state of the art bathrooms. The view from the hotel shows the beauty of our area. The manager and staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. What a wonderful asset to the city of Athens and Athens county ! This hotel is definitely a 5 star hotel.
Athens central hotel was one of the best hotels that Ive stayed in, not just in Athens, but in my life. The staff is so friendly and they do anything they can to help. The breakfast was delicious and the amenities are perfect. If you like luxury, I would recommend this hotel! Thank you to the owner and the staff for everything and more!
I’d like to give four and a half stars. This is a very nicely done, brand new hotel. Each member of the staff was very polite and friendly. The design is modern, but still cozy. This is a boutique hotel, not a hundred room Hampton. The room was comfortable and well designed, but there is something I take issue with. From an aesthetic standpoint, the floor was grey, and the furniture was grey. That’s a lot of grey.Functionally, there was no carpet. I can understand omitting carpet in favor of vinyl as it is hypoallergenic and easier to clean and keep clean. However, there’s also a functional reason for carpet, ie noise reduction. Being near the middle of town and on a busy street meant we heard traffic fairly late into the night. (It’s worth noting there’s a fraternity house directly across the street, however the school was on break the night of our stay) Also, there were some rather strange plumbing noises, but that could have been an anomaly. I’d like to suggest that if they’re going to omit the carpet and not have sound proof glass (or something along those lines), an acoustical absorbing material on the ceiling would be very welcome in helping this weary traveler sleep better at night.Back on the brighter side, quite literally, one of the lights in the bath is on a motion sensor. This is a very welcome amenity. The rainfall shower was also reminiscent of home, albeit not adjustable. The deep blue glass vanity was visually stunning.Breakfast was standard fare, however it was in a seating area with three tables of four. I suppose they’re not expecting many patrons to have breakfast at the same time. I was pleasantly surprised to see an attendant in the breakfast room. You may think this unnecessary, but a couple of weeks ago while traveling in another city, my first spoonful of cereal revealed spoiled milk and by extension a spoiled breakfast. There wasn’t an employee to be found anywhere on the first floor of that hotel, and I was rather miffed. In case you’re reading this too quickly, I had no such problems in Athens.Of note, the “complimentary” beverages in our room’s refrigerator upon our arrival consisted of two twelve ounce cans of Miller Lite. Take that as you will.Over all impression: very impressed. I look forward to staying here the next time I’m in town, no matter the quirks. Price, proximity, cleanliness and comfort; the stars are in alignment at the Athens Central. I highly recommend you stay here.
Wonderful use of the site & space. Ultra-modern accommodations uptown just a short walk from the Armory & Casa.Staff was friendly & extremely attentive. Complimentary beverages at check-in and in the room fridge. Large windows overlooking the hocking valley.Daily breakfast was the perfect base for a crawl. Likely to fill fast for Homecoming and Moms & Dads Weekend
By far, the best hotel to stay at when you are in Athens, Ohio. The rooms are very clean, spacious & comfortable. The staff is very courteous, helpful & professional. Oh, by the way, the complementary champagne was great while we were watching the football games on the 65 T.V. I will return.
Id like to acknowledge the polite and accomodating staff at the Athens Central Hotel. Both of our host durning the night of 5/30/20 were incredibly polite and professional.Id also like to compliment the owners and designers for a unique room experience. The King bed we had was A-1 we slept so good.Court Street where many of the restaurants and bars are at is only a short walk away.
First, I have been to many hotels around the world and I have never written a review, but there was so many positive things to say, I will just confirm all positive comments on here are absolutely true...The 65 inch TV made me feel like I was in a theater, and the linens and the shower settings made me feel like I was in a spa. Complimentary beverages, not just water in thefridge...Amazing.
Hotel was nice enough, but they charged me 60 dollars for destroyed towels which certainly were not. They informed me they would reach out to me to confirm the charge and did no such thing, but charged me anyway. I had previously wanted to cancel this reservation months before staying, but they charge a 100% refund fee, regardless if you stay at the hotel or not. Short answer, if you give them any money, you wont get it back, no matter what. Coupled with vague unexplained charges, its easy to see why this hotel should be avoided. This establishment is of ill repute and you should not give them your business unless you like vague, unexplained charges and 100% return fees on pre-booked stays, even if you didnt utilize their services.
Absolutely wonderful 😁 A true gem! Loved every single thing about our stay especially the friendly concierge and the chocolate brownies! Very classy, modern and clean- the towels & linens smell amazing! A great place to stay within walking distance of the historical & entertainment in town! Looking forward to coming back! 😁
The above and beyond service is incredible. From the complimentary champagne when checking in, to super modern, and clean rooms, to complimentary stocked mini fridge and pleasant breakfast, this place was great. Its also in a great location, especially compared to other options in the area. This hotel MADE our stay in Athens. Thanks again!
This brand new clean hotel is beautiful inside and out. Pride of ownership is reflected through courteous staff and hotel elegance. Prepare to experience contemporary design, comfortable beds, complimentary drinks, great breakfast, and amazing service! Easy checkin and checkout. Booked online. They accept all major credit cards. We will be visiting again and again!
Good hotel. Not a fan of the attached rooms as the doors are too far off the ground so the sound travels between rooms. The room overall was nice, but it was annoying hearing peoples conversations next door or when someone in the next room is in the shower. Id stay again, but Id definitely ask for a room that isnt connected to others.
I would of given 5 stars but after the management claiming we brought an animal into our room I’m only giving 1. Sorry our dogs hair was on our clothes! Our room was nice but the heat was almost 80 degrees upon arrival and the service man couldn’t figure out how to even use the unit so we had to fix it ourselves. Also the placement of the hair dryer made it hard to see in the mirror with such a short cord. And one more thing! They said we brought in a weird bag, Umm yeah bags are all different shapes, sizes and colors so if you have a bag policy then that should be noted! We will never come back to this hotel after being treated this way and being accused of bringing in an animal! We are very disappointed as we come down every year.
My husband and I chose this particular hotel because it was new and had some pretty good reviews. The staff was very nice and it was very clean and modern. They gave us 2 glasses of champagne and 2 pieces of chocolate which was a nice touch, and the fridge had both diet and regular soda, water and beer which was also very nice. The shower was also great !The price was great too !Saying all that there were onlytwo things that I would like to see some improvement on.Our bed was absolutely horrendous. It was hands down one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in.The mattress was too small for the size of the wooden frame it was on and they tried to compensated by putting this long tubular pillow at the top of the frame, and they had some kind of topper on top of the mattress that was not big enough to cover the mattress so you had this big hump and then you head fell down in this hole. When you laid down it was like you were on a big bubble with one half of your body up in the air and the other half dipping down.We tried to adjust it but it didnt work.We ended up sleeping at the bottom of the bed and put one pillow under our feet .We were literally laying at a slant. So I dont know if thats the way they all are or just the Priceline. Com .rooms ...lolThey use to offer breakfast before Covid.I think it would still be nice if they did what some hotels do that offer breakfast and people cant stay and that woukd be a grab and go bag with maybe like like a danish, donut.muffin, cookie or even a bagel and cream cheese ...just something small like that since you still offer coffee and water in your lobby until you decide to resume breakfast again.I would highly recommend it and would definitely come back.I would just need to check out the bed first next time or get the room with a couch and it recliner.
Beautiful new hotel with very nice and accommodating staff. The hotel is very close (within walking distance of) to Athens Court Street and Ohio University. This makes for an excellent place to stay if you are interested in participating in anything at Ohio University. The hotel has parking on site and access to a shuttle.
DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED. Charged us over $400 for destroyed items in the room but we are certain we did not do what they claimed we did. We asked for picture proof of the damage and they were not able to provide it or return our calls or emails. Disputed it with the bank but the bank says the hotel rejected our dispute. Still can’t get any proof months later so we were basically just robbed $400.
The worst hotel experience ever. Overcharged and misinformed by staff. The manager didnt just refuse to remedy the situation, she has accused us of lying. We have ended up paying over $400 for one night in the regular room (not a suite) with no breakfast provided (which was listed during the booking and on their site). We are IN SHOCK from the experience.
Athens, Ohio is a very cool city & unlike any other town in the state. The Athens Central Hotel, which is perfectly situated within 3 blocks of Uptoen Athens, is a perfect compliment to the city. There is no better lodging option if you need to spend then night in Athens.
Shhh!!!! Keep the best kept secret in Town. If you or your friends are thinking of visiting Athens Ohio and Ohio University, this is the best place to stay. This newest boutique hotel in town offers everything you want for your visit: Immaculate Rooms, Best Location, Friendly and Professional Service, Plenty of Parking, Walking access to many restaurants of various types, and if you are a sports fan, the largest TV you will ever find in a Hotel room anywhere in the world.
Athens is a very #kewl place and if you’re going to stay there the Athens Central Hotel is absolutely standalone! Everything about this place and its hospitality screams #dopestplaceintheuniverse! From the convenient location, atmospheric vibe, to the rooms aesthetics and services, this is #dopeshitonly!C
This is what Athens has been lacking for years! Finally, a luxury boutique hotel that has ample parking and is located within walking distance to the Ohio University campus and Uptown Court Street! As an Ohio University alumni and someone who frequents the area for business, this has been a game changer for me when it opened!

2022-04-24This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The room was very clean- a nice little added feature was the refrigerator contained free beverages. The shower head was amazing! My only complaint was that the mattress was extremely hard: I felt like I slept on a wood floor.

2022-01-26I frequently pass through the area and I stay at the Athens Central whenever possible-probably 5 times so far. I can’t say enough good-every time I stay they up their game. Courteous staff, spotless comfortable rooms, fantastic shower, an unbelievable value for the price. Highly recommend.

2022-03-13My wife and I spent our anniversary at this wonderful hotel and it was an experience of a lifetime...Armando(he is an asset to this establishment)at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary was unforgettable which was a breath of fresh air, whatever he does not know he finds out and whatever we need he either gets it done or get someone who can... Being from Jamaica where I am used to great hospitality, it was the first I have ever experienced friendly staff, great service, clean accommodation at an international hotel. Let me also talk about Mr. Prokos (the owner) who was so hospitable and kind. A winter storm was in effect and we could not get a lyft or Uber to take us to our destination and he did it without hesitating...We were so happy that we made the choice to stay at A/C (Athens Central Hotel), money well spent. Lets not forget the chef who made us wonderful breakfast in the mornings, she is so sweet, kudos to the entire staff, we will definitely return...

2021-11-19DON’T DO IT! I rarely write reviews, you have to be really good, or really bad! There are multiple bad reviews on here when booking through 3rd party apps. (And about being over-charged) BELIEVE THEM! I booked through Priceline, paid for 1 night, and after arriving….not only was it not in their system, but after a long hassle and only staying 1 night, I was charged for 2. The manager asked for my card and said, “don’t worry I handle the transactions, this is just for incidentals, you won’t be charged twice.” OOPS, bad decision on my part. The worst part was how the staff and (without naming names) “the manager handled it. After we challenged it she consistently disappeared and wanted no part of it. We didn’t ask for anything special, just didn’t think we should pay for 2 nights when we only stayed 1. Seems fair to me. Literally avoided us and played games over $150+ dollars for months. For me, its not about the money, but the principle of it. We simply wanted an explanation. One front desk employee deserves some credit, she gave it the best shot at resolving. But in the end, she looked up our reservation (after months of disputing) and said, “that’s why, you stayed on a FRIDAY night, and we have a 2-day minimum weekend policy.” Fair enough, the only problem is, we stayed on a SUNDAY night to Monday morning! How can the “system” be this bad there seriously? Brutal. At any rate, if you have a similar issue, I promise you you’ll have a tough time resolving it.Keep my hard-earned $150+ Athens Central Hotel… you definitely worked hard to keep it!If you’re traveling during the Holidays, DO NOT make the same mistake I and others did. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!
