Aspen Dental in other cities:
The support staff at this location is the BEST! The Dentist (quite green) not so impressed with. Perhaps working under a seasoned dentist for a bit would be beneficial here. My overall experience with only have a tooth pulled wasnt quite what I expected. Three days off of work for a simple extraction was unnecessary in my opinion. Jodie Eshleman
The staff is friendly and service completed is hit or miss. They constantly have new doctors so its really hard to get comfortable with quality of work. My biggest issue with them is their horrible record keeping and follow up. Too many times Ive gone to an appt and the staff isnt expecting me, theyre asking me questions about the stage of treatment were in, and Ive been on an invisalign treatment where each readjustment takes months to receive and Aspen doesnt provide any updates. I had to call for 2 weeks, left messages with no return, before I could get through. I referred 3 others and we are all leaving. Once invisalign is complete Ill be moving in
My first time to this brand new office and it was a great experience getting my dental work done quickly and efficiently. The staff was very friendly, professional and the dental hygienist Julie did an excellent job thoroughly cleaning my teeth and explaining to me what was going on in my mouth with a 3D scan! I saw the Dentist without waiting and everything was explained to me. I highly recommend this office with all their new state of the art technology.
The support staff here is always wonderful. Unfortunately as of next week I am leaving and going to an office with one dentist. I have been waiting for my invisilign for over a month now. At my last appointment I had my buttons on my teeth removed and a scan. Now I am waiting for my 38th tray. I paid in full up front and told I wont be able to get my scan so I can have it for my new dentist. I feel like I wasted my money and I will have to start over. I have seen at least 3 different doctors for my Invisilign and if you have sensitive teeth or gums I do not recommend this office. Oh well lesson learned.
First visit at Aspen Dental in Macedonia: Very friendly and kind welcome by Sam at front desk; Dr. Wilson was very comforting and thorough with the exam, his assistant Julie was very gentle and patient with taking the x-rays. Julie, hygienist, efficient and thorough with cleaning treatment. Chris was very kind and helpful with financing and payment plan. Overall, we were very impressed with outstanding care, service and treatment we received. Aspen Dental in Macedonia is our new home base for dental care. Thank you all for taking good care of us.
Needed to get a couple of teeth looked at quickly, pain was not tolerable. They scheduled me for that afternoon. Very thorough on the imaging. They went over treatment options. Didnt have to jump through hoops with the insurance, they did the leg work and had all the info before my arrival. Last place told me to bring info in and make sure they accepted my insurance prior to treatment. Friendly staff as well.Update 12/22/18, I was told at my appointment that I would be hearing from Aspen Dental the following day to confirm my appointment for my extraction, but never received a call. So now Im not sure where that leaves me for my semi-scheduled appointment.Update 12/31/2018, Well they had me pay up front for my extraction, but never received a call for a decision about time. Seems oral surgeon travels between several locations and was over booked. They seemed more interested in pushing Invisalign, but after denying any other service or product for the time being other than getting tooth taken care of, the dentist abruptly walked out and never came back. I was told extraction was necessary, so penicillin and antibiotics were given due to infection. After no appointment for prepaid extraction, I went to another dentist at my regular office.(was to busy to get me in originally) They agreed with the antibiotics and ibuprofen, but no on second extraction, as root of wisdom was breaching nerve canal of lower jaw and there was nothing wrong with the tooth to begin with, only molar in front of wisdom was infected. Infection was gone and they did root canal same day and solved my problem. Not sure what the deal with Aspen is but pushing products seems more important than patient welfare.
I went to this location in the fall of last year for a preliminary visit. Just like other reviewers I was told that I needed a deep cleaning that would cost me $700 with insurance as well as thousands of dollars of other work. I was immediately sent to the accountant and encouraged to take out a credit card to which I declined.I then called earlier this year because I needed an emergency appointment for a toothache. The receptionist said there was no record that I had ever visited the facility, and that Id have to wait 24 hours to be seen. Needless to say I found another dentist office willing to see me immediately who said I didnt even need the deep cleaning, and took care of my pain immediately.Bullet dodged.
I am giving them 1 star because you simply can’t give none. This people ruined my teeth. I went there for a regular cleaning and all. They told me that I needed a deep cleaning since I haven’t been to the in 2 years. They told me after insurance I would have to pay about 280 which I paid and they did the check and cleaning. Then they said I had a cavity and that they would have to fill it which I agreed and I paid 180 after insurence for this then they sent me a bill for another 280 which I paid despite them saying what you are billed is what you pay. Mind you my insurance paid about 2800 all for just a cleaning and filling a cavity. Now my main issue, after the filling, my teeth got very sensitive, I spoke to the dentist and she told me to use sensodyn toothpaste, and I did for months fast forward I started to have excruciating pain in my mouth so I went to another dentist for a second opinion, apparently the filling was not done properly and I developed and infection to the bone of my month long story short they ruin a perfectly healthy teeth they had to pull my tooth. Now I am looking for money to get a implant became entangled with insurance a new implant is about $5000. I am thinking about suing this people because they ruined my healthy teeth my teeth are very healthy and I have never had a problem until I went to aspen dental. Stay away from them if you plan on keeping all your molars. Awful practice they don’t care about your health they just want your money.
My initial experience with aspen dental was great. However, since my first appointment I’ve been less then impressed. I scheduled my cleaning six months out and my appointment was not cancelled once but twice by aspen. The first time was due to the doctor having an emergency, and today it was due to the hygienist having an emergency. Not only did I have to call the new patient line to get through...the current patient line was sent straight to voicemail..but the receptionist I spoke to wasn’t helpful at all. I expressed what an inconvenience this has been for the past two weeks and she said “I mean...I’m sorry that people have emergencies. What do you want me to say?” I would have liked for her to apologize for the major inconvenience this has caused. If they’re going to cancel appointments same day and within two hours of your appointment they should at least offer to reschedule your appointment within the same week. No such luck. My only offer was to get pushed out another week. 3 weeks of being cancelled on? No thanks! I would suggest going elsewhere. Perhaps to an office that stays open during their business hours on a regular basis and has an understanding that their customers also plan their schedules around appointments.
Went for an infected tooth, the hygienist tried to sell me invisaline, and I had to tell people like 5 times that my primary concern was the infected tooth. Finally go to financing and they say that Ill need about $9,000 of work and how I would like to pay. Had to explain my only concern was the infected tooth that was causing extreme jaw pain a few times before he got the picture. Finally got scheduled for a root canal, and on the day of the appointment I could here them talking for like half an hour about the appointment being noted wrong, they finally got started after 40 minutes. My next appointment I again had to wait 40 minutes for the post and temporary crown to be place, and was late back to work due to this delay. My original appointment to get the permanent crown was cancelled without them telling me, but they changed it on the website hoping I would notice and call them. Finally I got the crown and they were like you now owe us $$$ to which I was like your funny thinking I will pay without you running my insurance first. 100% would not recommend!
My fiance had an infection and didnt want to go to see a dentist. Well I called on a Saturday and they made an appt that day. We went in and they were so awsome, and caring. They were straight forward and very nice. I highly recommend Aspen Dental for any kind of dental work or emergency mouth pain. Its a comfortable environment, if your scared of the dentist. Im impressed with the help my fiance got and the whole staff.
My surgery was awesone however trying to get dentures afterwards has stalled. It apoears that the issue is that they overbook appts and then call you two hours before your appointment to say The Dr. has to move ...from his home...- so my appt was cxld. They never reached back out to me. I feel so disrespected. And Im pretty certain the recording says We will do our best to make certain you have a great fit and are comfortable. .... Very disappointed in the neglect, after surgery !
I visited the Aspen Dental in Macedonia, Ohio and had a very pleasant experience from day one to my final visit. The staff that worked with me were phenomenal. From the doctor to the office manager Chris, I could not have asked for a better experience and trust me , I have had some horrible experiences. I would recommend them to my friends and have recommended them. Again, thank you all to the entire staff at Macedonia, Aspen dental!!!
Aspen dental in medina ohio deserves two thumbs up. Every team member had a very warming personality. Im guessing no one likes geting dental work done but when you have a team that sincerely cares about not only your issue but your emotions or anxiety!! Youve got yourself a keeper. Dr Florian is a dentist with compassion, he listens to your concerns and hes a veteran in his field and how he blends and treats his team with respect says a lot about his character. This particular office is worth the drive regardless of where you live. In ending a warm hug for Micky, youre a great asset for Aspen, if it wasnt for your reference I wouldnt of known. Sincerely, carol p.
Very nice and clean place. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. The first thing they do is a preliminary examination to check how your teeth are. It was very through and they show you a 3-D image of your teeth and then the dentist sits with you and suggests what treatment will be best. I liked this place a lot, I will definitely continue going.
Everything that they could have done wrong they did. Billed my Insurance wrong charged me 300+ dollars even though I only had a 50 dollar deductible that they insisted I pay up front. The hygienist did not numb my gums to do a deep clean. Customer service was less then stellar lost a customer. They then sent me a bill for 500+ for charges my insurance refused to cover since it was excessive even though they said they verified and informed me everything would be covered 100% percent. Stop screwing people over! I will never recommend this place.
Wrong business ethics, I had a chipped crown and Dr. didnt look at the x-ray images properly and started drilling out crown and found that I had one crown over two tooth at that time I was told to pay for two separate crown in middle of the treatment. End up paying double than they have told me in a first place, if I knew the cost then I would have not gone their again.
I started going to aspen dental a few years ago. Everyone has been very friendly and very professional. My last experience though changed my outlook some. I called to schedule an appointment for a cavity I noticed giving me some serious pain. The lady who answered was very pleasant, and stated i would need xrays again since its been over a year. That was no problem. When i arrived I had to pay 117 up front. I didnt understand because usually my insurance covered xrays, but i let it go, thinking maybe it was for a filling. I get called back and apparently theyre going to give me a deep clean/scaling. Ive noticed in other reviews they force these on people. I went it with tooth pain and left with it. They didnt mention the cavity i stated i needed, just sent me to the hygenist (which she was very sweet). But I go there for pain, and it was not even acknowledged. Now i will be going to my old dentist who now accepts my insurance. Be careful when scheduling, they may try to force a cleaning on you.
Very friendly, professional, and prompt. You can expect warm greeting, courteous service and exceptional dentistry. Dr. Shirisha is exceptionally professional. I went in to have a broken tooth fixed. She put a post and built new tooth until the permanent crown arrives. I cant tell the difference.... Highly recommend this office for anyones dental needs.
I came to aspen dental because they offered free xrays and first visit. The woman that came to look at my teeth was foreign for one, or that that is the issue, she just needs to slow down when she talks because her accent is thick. My issue with the dentist was that after I repeatedly told her what tooth was bothering me, she proceeded to take some metal type rod and tap all my teeth. Not cool. Then she got to the one that was hurting me and I had to tell her don’t even think about it. After getting unnecessary 3D images of my teeth, she became to list off a mile long list to the aid on what I need done. I’m not a wealthy person. I barely get by. Listening to what this dentist was naming off had me so overwhelmed I legitimately had a panic attack and started crying. To which neither the dentist or aid acknowledged. Then after telling me how severe my infection was in my tooth I am prescribed penicillin and ibuprofen. The antibiotic took 2 days to kick in and the ibuprofen did nothing to relieve my pain. I ended up getting extra strength Tylenol (Walmart brand) and that did more for me than what I had a prescription for. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed with how the dentist made to effort to ease my mind or pain. She left for the day before I even made it back to the lobby. I would only recommend Aspen Dental for initial consultation to get an idea of what you’ll need done. The call center woman I talked to earlier that morning voiced more concern for my discomfort than anyone else. She was very kind and sort of had that motherly tone when talking to me. I wish I had gotten her name.
I visited the end of the day. I think they take more x-rays than needed which killed my benefits so now I have to come out of pocket for the thing I needed the most...a repair. Just be mindful when you go in there. Ask for all the cost and make sure whats given is necessary.
This place is not worth it stay away. I went to Aspen Macedonia for a routine teeth cleaning, when I got in after my scan and check they told me I had an infection that was just coming in and they would like to do a deep cleaning to ensure that this infection does not become a problem. The accountant came to me and said I would have to pay $212 including deductible for the cleaning and $54 for a filling because I Have a cavity. I asked the accountant if there would be any other charge after I paid this and he said that what they quote you is what you pay because that is their policy promise.I accepted to pay the money to get it over thinking that was just what I had to pay based on my insurance. A month later, I was sent my bills and I saw that I owed $112. I was shocked and I looked through my policy. And my insurance stated that after my $50 every other thing was covered 100%.I called aspen, then they told me that the reason why they changed me almost $370 for a teeth cleaning was because I they had to do a preridontal cleaning was why they had to charge me that much. Just so you know just for a filling and cleaning my insurance paid over $1000.Aspen dental ripped me off. Simply they are over priced for no reason and they charge you way more than you would be charged for a better service somewhere else. Why should I have to pay over $300 for a cleaning and a filling with a good insurance? I called them and they told me that they would resend the bill to the insurance company but I have to pay the $112 or they would send it to collection. I feel ripped off because my brother got all four of his wisdom tooth pulled at another dentist office with the same insurance and all he paid was $130 so why aspen charged me $370 for deep cleaning that only lasted 20 mins and a filling is beyond my imagination.I will not recommend Aspen dental to anyone, I am going to be creating a blog post about this experience because no one should be treated like that.P.S I have a very good dental insurance my insurance said all I had to pay was a deductible which is $50 and then all my regular cleaning would be covered 100% but Aspen refused to tell me this they just brought a bill and acted like this was what I had to pay based on my insurance even though all I asked for was a routine cleaning. They will try to make you do things you don’t need just to charge you more.
This coming from someone who hasnt been to a dentist in probably more than 15 years because of some bad experiences at other dentists. I only had a consult but I absolutely loved the time I spent there. Very friendly and non judgemental! Loved that! Very understanding!
Horrible experience. They advertise as accepting emergencies. I had a absessed tooth on a day my dentist was out of town. I was in Terrible pain. They told me I had to wait until next week to see the specialist. They gave me an antibiotic that I had to sit and wait for 25 minutes for, in horrible pain. Completely incompetent people working there
It had been ten years since I walked into a dentist office. My last visit was so expensive, painful and just not an overall pleasant experience. That all changed with my visit to the Macedonia Aspen Dental office. It started with friendly warm greetings from Mailessa and Alexandra at the front desk. Followed by great care provided by the hygienist Danielle; and the gentle, professional and pain free care given by Dr. Shirisha Madulapally. (Didnt even feel the numbing shots!!)Everyone took the time to explain what and why things needed to be done. All in a non-judgement way. Topped off with John Gardner the office manager, reviewing my detailed estimate, which included cost covered by my insurance and my out of pocket cost. He worked with me on ways to keep cost down and different options for financing.EVERYONE, including the names of those I forgot, treated me not only professionally but very personal. Im actually looing forward to my next appointments.
I came to aspen with my front teeth missing I am 45yr old aspen dental in Macedonia has been awesome. They treated me with so much care and patients.they helped me with the financial part of getting dentures.i am a new person they changed my whole mind set.i am out going talkitive and confident i have a new out look on life.this has made my life more positive.i reccomend Aspen to everyone.
Had seen another dentist a week earlier and was diagnosed with a tooth abscess. Was given a prescription for an antibiotic. Came into Aspen because that medication had no effect on infection and pain. Aspen Dental did exam and also changed my antibiotic. One day later, and I am feeling much, much better! What a difference!
My appointment was for 9 am I got here at 845. It is not 1015 there is still another person in front of me who has a appointment for the same time. A lady came in at 945 who all the office people know and said that shes thier favorite...... she was taken back at 10am.
Terrible they sent me home with a 15,000 dollar bill saying I can finance my home to get dental work done the exam that I was told would be free is a joke they billed my insurance anyways saying if u didnt have it then it would have been free which is the complete opposite of what I was told when I made my appointment. An elderly lady was crying inside of the lobby because she needed dental help like I did and didnt know how she would pay these ridiculous Bills they print out for you after convincing you they can help I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone the staff was nice only because they know the RIP off that is sure to come when it comes to getting some work done they told me my insurance covers extractions and fillings but I have to pay 150 to 200 dollars out of pocket for consultation to the dentist for each procedure why would I do that when I can go somewhere else that says if it is covered there is no hidden fee
I love our location in Stow compared to the Macedonia location. I appreciate the Macedonia location taking me in to repair my flipper. I just felt I was being pressured to have a new flipper made instead of repairing the one I brought in. I explained I am 70 years old with only 9 teeth left. I explained as soon as I have to have another tooth pulled I would have them all pulled and get upper and lower dentures. Still I was told I should have a new flipper made since this one will probably break. I said, I understand and I will sign a waiver stating that but the pressure still came. She finally saw I wasnt going to subcom to her pressure and reluctantly went and made up a waiver and had me sign. Stow location couldnt of been more accomodating when i had them repair it a couple of months back, they just couldnt get me in based on my schedule. I will still use Aspen, just not the Macedonia location.
Not happy with this place at all. Staff is friendly but the dentist knew I had a cracked tooth and wanted to do a deep cleaning first knowing my tooth would break any time. Then when it did, in the middle of the night, I had to spend all night in an emergency room for pain and the next morning I was turned away to get it pulled. Going someplace else, anyplace else than back there!
For the cost of dental work, Aspen Dental need an in house dental payment plan that we could pay monthly and not going through a finance company that wants you to put down 2000.00 to start financing. Who has that laying around when your husband is only making 13 hr for a family of 4.
Horrible customer service; I scheduled an appointment because I was in pain, I get the first available appointment completely move my schedule around and get all the way there and they tell me oops we tried to call you we have no dr. Here😡😡😡😡. First of all I have my phone at my side all day long and I even checked for missed calls and NOT ONE!!! Very bad business and I would never ever go back!!!
When I explained the amount of pain that I was in they were able to schedule my appointment immediately the doctor was very sympathetic to my pain and was able to relieve it almost immediately very professional and went the extra mile to make sure that my issues were Taken care of within the budget that I was able to afford
I called in for a tooth ache and they fit me right in and gave me a five star welcome went above and beyond and the best patient care ever the whole staff was awesome and the doctor diagnose my problem. I was there to get it A second opinion and my doctors office failed to see what she saw she save me from getting a root canal in the wrong tooth thank you
Very unprofessional . the assistants do not look over medical history before completing procedures , they just go and attempt to complete procedure , once you go to confirm they have reviewed it before they start because you do have a history they turn you away because of the medical history& say they can not treat you or go any further . do not recommend going here .

Ive had a few appointments over the last few weeks and every interaction was enjoyable. From the front desk and management, to the doctors and procedures... everything has been as perfect as I can ask for.

2022-07-21Dr. DePolo was fantastic. As a physician myself, I highly recommend him. Fastest tooth fix I’ve ever had, and a perfect result. Incredibly skilled. 5 stars

2022-02-15Rated one star but I wish there was a zero star. I didn’t get what I paid for. I want a refund I spent 20,000 and what have is unacceptable. The office staff was friendly enough I guess they are really ripping people off. The general manager yelled at me and referred to me as you people. I filled a complaint with the corporate office and my bill increased by $8000. I still want all of my money back

2021-12-10Waste of time. I’ve been to Aspen in the past at a different location. I made an appointment to fix a cavity at this office. Got in a few days later. At the appointment they take an X-ray, then sit me in a room for almost 40 minutes alone. When the dentist finally arrives, she says you have a cavity. You need to make an appointment to get it fixed. THATS WHY I MADE THIS APPOINTMENT! I will be finding a new dentist.

2021-08-05I am impressed by the quality of service and level of professionalism. Like most dentists and their services, there is a certain amount of perfectionism as well. I dont mind, especially as this trait is likely to ensure my continuing health.Still observing health guidelines specific to the date, I arrived close to my scheduled visit, and didnt have to wait more than a minute after I signed in.Everyone there, in this spotless and clean facility, is friendly, efficient and helpful. The procedures and processes are state of the art. I used to hate some aspects of dentistry, but now those seem to have been eliminated. I dont dread my cleaning and check-up anymore! Kudos to Julie, who is a true expert in her field.

2021-12-14Rated 1 star because there wasnt a lower rating. My wife went in for a wisdom tooth removal. They told her she had horrible gums and needed 5 other teeth removed. Horrified, she left. Had the wisdom tooth removed at a private practice today. They told her that her teeth and gums are fine. Aspen Dental clearly is full of B.S. and just wants your money.

2021-06-25I received a partial from Aspen Dental which kept breaking every 3 to 5 months. Each time they charged me $160 to fix it. The third time it broke 4 weeks after they fixed it and they still wanted to charge me another $160 to fix it. There was obviously a flaw in the design. It broke again andI called to see if they would fix it. They told me it had a 6 month warranty and for the previous times they charged me and I should have been charged nothing. But instead of working with me and trying to make it right, they were going to charge me again the $160. I have been a faithful customer with Aspen for years and given them plenty of money. I told the manager if this was how they were going to treat me I would never return. She told me that was fine. This is the way they treat a faithful customer which I will be no longer. And they will never have my recommendation.

2021-09-01All Aspen dentals are money hungry and scammers! Im an rn and horrified at the poor customer services, over pricing, charging for things that dont exist, pre payment and then they dont give you back your money when you dont get that procedure and many many other complaints. Stay far away. They caused me more pain ( financially and real ) than I have ever felt. STAY AWAY. Go anywhere else!
