Aspen Dental in other cities:
I was very impressed with the kindness of the staff at the Akron location. They took their time, gave options and even stayed late to pull the tooth that was causing me so much pain. When you are facing periodontal disease, having someone who wants to help, provide options without judgement is a life saver. Thank you to the entire amazingly kind team at the Akron office of Aspen Dental. I will definitely be back!!
I am an EXTREMELY nervous dental patient. I saw Dr. Hyde at the Arlington Rd Aspen Dental today and let me just say WOW!!! She was so caring and gentle. The novacaine shot up under my nose to work on a front tooth that was badly chipped was barely even noticeable! She is definitely an expert at giving shots in a nonpainful way!! I cant say enough good things about the entire staff there. The hygienist was sweet and the doctors assistant was very attentive. This experience was so positive for me, I felt it my duty to let you all know!!This is absolutely the place to go for all your dental needs!!!
I called with a broken tooth from work I was told that the only appointment was a week out but due to the pain and having to talk a lot at work I needed something sooner, I was told that they accepted walk ins and to come down I might have to wait but I would be seen, I have no issue waiting as long as the tooth was fixed. I LEFT WORK and went in for a walk in appointment only to be told “I can’t help you leave your phone number and we will call with a cancel” be consistent I lost money because someone was dishonest and I’m still in pain since every other dentist in the area was passed their walk in window after I was done at aspen so I have to miss more work tomorrow and suffer with a broken tooth due to dishonesty or someone not doing their jobs
I am honestly usually absolutely terrified to go to the dentist! I wait as long as humanly possibly and then I make an appointment (which I reschedule several times) and go… this being the case this time, I finally made myself go and not only was the staff our front great, but the X-ray tech was phenomenal! She made me feel at ease, which is great because my guys were a mess inside from anxiety!! When we got into the exam room, the Dentist came in and she chatted with me a bit first, which I like because well let’s be real, I really don’t want just anyone’s fingers in my mouth okay! Then when she did her exam I didn’t feel a thing! She was fantastic!! We made a solid plan and set up what was next and I’m pretty positive I won’t reschedule this time! Thanks for being awesome guys!!
Everyone was super friendly! The hygienist and doctor took their time to explain things to me and made sure I understood. They also took into consideration that I don’t have dental coverage and gave me options that are within my budget. I will definitely be coming back here! Best dentist I’ve ever been to!
I was VERY impressed by the professionalism shown by the staff. From the second I walked in the door, I felt very comfortable and safe. Everything was very clean and everyone had on PPE. Going to the dentist can be very daunting, and the staff at Aspen Dental on Arlington ease those fears. I highly recommend this office.
The doctor and dental assistant were nice but the receptionist not so much. 2 draw backs are that they dont help you out with the cost of the visit or offer payment plans. They dont care how much pain youre in. Secondly, they are a little rough. Ive been through rough and I can say they are from xrays to extractions. If youre afraid of the dentist then dont go here. Sorry!
Everyone was great. It has been many years since I have been to a dentist so I was anxious about it and afraid that I would get a long lecture about why I had not taken better care of my teeth. That have been my experience in the past at other places, I have always left crying. But not at Aspen. They were all very nice and did not belittle me. They were gentle and sensitive to my situation.
It wouldve been 5 stars had they accepted my insurance. I absolutely loved the place it was brand new and clean, and everybody working there was so very kind and straight to the point of my dental care. I felt like I was in such great hands up until the point I realized my insurance wasnt accepted... they have good payment plan options however I just simply cannot afford it. The price isnt outrageous, I just struggle financially unfortunately. Maybe one day I can come back
Horrible experience, they were very nice at first visit, scheduled a intense cleaning a month out, the hygienist called 3 times to move my appointment up but I work and had to keep 4:30 appointment. the day of my appointment she called me at 9:15 A>m> asking if I could come in at 4 I said sorry I do not get off work till 4:15, then at 3:30 I get acall saying the hygienist had gone home and I would have to reschedule for at least another month!!!! horrible service DO NOT go there
So far my experience with Aspen Dental has been good. The reason for 4 stars is the appointment times. My first appointment was for 11:00am. Didnt actually get taken back to the room until 11:50. Then started the appointment. My next appointment was supposed to be 45 minutes. Appt. time was 9:30. Didnt get taken back until 10:00. Then 45 minute appointment. I have a really tight schedule. I cant be late for my other commitments. If Im told that my appointment should be no more than 45 minutes, and my appointment is for 9:30. I expect to be done no later than 10:30.
Aspen dental is very expensive. My first appt, nothing was done but xrays. Only good thing was they got me in the next day. I have to wait 1 month for Bright Now Dental. But With My Schedule, I cant complain. Wouldnt advise anyone, except millionaires to go to aspen. The staff was friendly. The xray tech was awesome. Thats about it.
Horrible listeners. I told 3 different people and it was on my charts that I was allergic to amoxicillin and when given an antibiotic to take home and get filled I was given amoxicillin. I sadly didnt notice until I was about to go get it filled which never happened so im still in extreme pain while I look for a different dentistry.
Went in for severe pain from wisdom tooth area. Saw 5 people. 1st paperwork, 2nd xray entire mouth without asking permission, 3rd talk about xray and cleaning but nothing about pain, 4th talked about pain and prescribed antibiotics (in there about 2 minutes), waited 20 minutes to see 5th person trying to sell deep cleaning and oral surgery including everything supposedly not covered by insurance. Total time there about 1.5 hours. Total time regarding pain issue 2 minutes. Will not be back.
Got a filling 3 months ago . Had tooth pain ever since. When I called to ask about my options, they told me this is “normal” and that if my symptoms don’t go away “soon” I might need a root canal. Also told me that I was warned about this possibility after my first appointment which is not true. Would not recommend for any dental work.Update: just went to another dentist who had to remove the filling that was done at Aspen because I am still in pain weeks later. He discovered that the filling they did was placed on top of an active nerve which was the cause of the pain for months. He has to preform and emergency root canal due to their mistake.Update update: stuck on the couch in incredible pain from the root canal I was forced to get because Aspen Dental messed up a simple filling so I have nothing else to do except this. Still mad. Still in pain. Still would not recommend aspen dental to my worst enemy (:
This is my second visit in a row that there was a financial error/overcharge regarding my insurance coverage. This location is extremely messy- they have submitted my insurance claims incorrectly, caused me to pay out-of-pocket for things my insurance already covers, and due to this I no longer feel comfortable visiting this location. Although this location is convenient for me to access, making a longer drive to another location is worth the peace of mind.
Yesterday I came to Aspen Dental because my crown on my front tooth broke off. Even though it couldnt be repaired and put back in like I had hoped, everyone was so nice and took the time to explain everything to me. This included the receptionist, the XRay tech, the dentist and hygienist and the financial person. I highly recommend this office.
I went in for a consultation and came out with all the information I needed to make the best decision for my teeth. The staff was more than helpful and caring. For anyone looking for a dentist that listens and put your needs 1st, then this is the place to go. Thanks again Arlington team for making me feel relaxed and in good hands.
My husband had dental care at the S. Arlington Rd. facilty. Madison who greets you at the front desk was very hospitable and friendly to us. Ave explained our financial plan in detail, understandable to us. She was very patient and kind to us. Joy, the hygienist was very kind and did a very thorough cleaning, and explained everything well. In this time of covid-19, they took all precautions with sanitization of everything. Amanda, Cieara, and Alicia were also wonderful and thorough in all they did. The only reason Im not giving a five star rating is because we had a after hours emergency and could not reach Dr. Maurer that performed the surgery. We found this to be very frustrating, but he did explain to us why this happened. Hopefully, this wont happen to anyone else in the future. Overall I highly recommend them for your dental needs. Thank you Aspen dental.
I schedule a cleaning, was made to wait for 45 minutes before being addressed. The dentist came in said my x Rays look very good. The hygienist came in and poked around in my mouth. I was then led to the office manager who stated I need to pay 230$ for the special cleaning. They refused to clean my teeth unless I pay!!I have dental insurance but Aspen dental wanted way more.I was lured in and lied to.I am so disgusted that I contacted BBB and consumer affairs.Pathetic!
I am a new patient and my first 2 visits were so easy. I made my initial appt online for the next morning...I completed all my paperwork online and the Ai from Road staff met my needs with a smile and were VERY professional. Feel like Im on good hands with Aspan Dental. Fair prices and easy to scjedule services. Latest technology and VERY clean.
Worst dentist I’ve ever been to. I waited an hour in the dentist chair for a cleaning even though I was the first appointment of the day. I told them I had to go to work and they were like okay! Let’s schedule you for your cleaning! So I wasted my time and money for nothing. If you want to go somewhere where you actually get dental work done instead of having to listen to gossipy workers in the hallway, I would go elsewhere. Never again.
It was very easy to make an appointment online and complete the necessary paperwork before the visit. The staff was both very friendly and professional. They did a good job of explaining what they were doing, providing me options, and explaining costs prior to consent. I was very pleased overall.
I had a great experience at Aspen Dental.. I would have gave them a five star but the lady that call my name to come back started doing The first steps of my mouth X-rays etc was very uncomfortable but besides the rest my experience was wonderful I’ll be going back Very polite and understanding
Horrible, horrible place. Scheduled for a exam and cleaning, after exam gave me a estimate of 3200.00 when I said no to that, they did not bother doing a cleaning. If cleaning and exam are an important part of dental health, they sure don’t care. I will tell everyone I know what a scam this place is.
I waited over an hour to see the surgeon chimere okezie for my popping jaw. After he finally came he told me to just not open my mouth wide, even though I can not open my mouth wider than one finger without my jaw popping. But he did not check to even see that. After talking to dawn from the patient satisfaction team aspen dental believes that the regular dentist that told me it looks like youre doing it yourself but I dont know its out of my realm and telling the surgeon, who i came to see that, warrants the surgeon to not look in my mouth. Please save yourself time and money and never step foot into this place.
I had a cousin went to get a tooth extracted, the poor guys been in excruciating pain for the past a minimum amount of sleep in those four day! instead of extracting the tooth they tried to upsell him on a bridge. Gave him nothing for the pain for the tooth that needed pulled. Long story short tooth was never pulled and for pain gave him ibuprofen 800 mg when he was taking as his tooth begin to hurt. I recommend going to Akron family dental.
I wouldnt take my dog here....all about money and they dont care.....husband went in to have dentures ....hello 10000. For dentures with my insurance are you crazy? Then they pressured him into getting a credit line through them luckily he didnt have his id card so they couldnt process it. Even with cash in hand they pushed a credit account. That night my husbands face swelled up to 4x its size so they called him in antibiotics and told him if he needed to be seen again it would be 60$. How do you go in with no issues and come out with a infection? The next day he called and they were unsympathetic to the whole ordeal.
Kind of like a scam ask you for money upfront which Insurance companies tell you never to pay before its processed through insurance, which they are under contract with to provide services for a certain amount. They will tell you people are covered in your insurance network when they are outside of your insurance coverage just to try to keep you coming back. Dont pay 100s or 1000s of extra dollars its poor consumer relations and extortion. Go to well known place there corporate agenda dosent have your wellbeing in mind. Had work done with them years ago as well beyond recently and they charged me out right 1000s of dollars before the procedure showed me pics of someone elses teeth on a x-ray and instited the dentist wasnt in but his aid could easily do the surgery? Super strange always ask questions. I ended up having my bill refunded and went else where.
OMG., I just went to this office and had a crown that came out . The dentist there used permanent glue and put it back in and its not even close to being back in right spot its sticking out , to long and feels and looks TERRIBLE. I am sick to my stomach . Dont know what to do . So i went to a real dentist Right up the street Dr.Kline and he said there is nothing he could do to save the crown . So now i have to spend over 1500.00 and have a new one made that Aspen Dental just made a few years ago . I just can not believe that this could happen . Putting a crown back in the same place it came out is as basic as basic can get. This dentist should not be aloud to keep working there .
Hygienist was not professional asked too many personal questions and tried to advice . I was there for teeth cleaning not for financial advice she also handed me brush and paste instead to giving a bag and asked do I need a bag ???? I paid to get good service and my teeth to be cleaned not for advices about family and stuff

2022-08-31Wonderful service. I went in for my dental cleaning today. My hygienist did an excellent of talking me through the process and being supportive while also encouraging me to do a better job with teeth maintenance. I also had x-rays and they found a cavity, so I am going back tomorrow to have it filled. I dont have dental insurance so these visits are not cheap (a little less than $500 for today and tomorrow) but what dentist is? Overall, Im always satisfied with my visits here

2022-02-23The experience was very nice. We were there for my husband and they did a few initial things with him, including a diagnosis and treatment. Took 2 hours for the exam and a deep cleaning and we left with 2 more exams and a payment plan thats very flexible. The staff was absolutely kind and wonderful!

2022-08-01The DAs (Abbey & China) were both very nice, and Dr Hyde was professional, knowledgeable, and caring in her approach. I could tell the the Doc really my best interests at heart. She took the time to explain exactly what I needed and why, and the best timeline to achieve optimal results. She was honest when she told me that for some questions I was better off talking with the hygienist (who was not in) because she was more well versed in the material (it was a question about whitening). She wasnt arrogant and didnt try to come across as all knowing and it was refreshing to know that my doctor wasnt going to sugar coat anything, whether it was in regards to the care I needed or where her expertise lie. Loved my experience!

2022-09-04Awesome hygienist named Brian! They let my 2-year-old sit in on the appointment so he could get a comfortable start seeing what happens at the dentist because Daddy likes the dentist! Nothing like being able to smile without wanting to cover up my teeth!

2022-07-11Staff is nice. Thorough. I had a checkup and extraction so far. The process was extremely simple. Incredibly less painful than expected 😂 Plan to have scaling done here next!

2022-08-09My own dentist couldnt work me for an emergency extraction so I called these fine people and was immediately seen and well taken care of by a kind and thorough staff. My old personal dentist is now my ex-dentist. Will return to Aspen on Arlington Road for all my dental needs.

2022-07-24People are polite. Really like Dr. Dana Hyde....BUT, the system they use for insurance and payment is terrible. I am a senior with Aetna Medicare Duo. I am not suppose to pay anything. I was told to pay a certain amount or not get work done. Aetna says NO..NO OUT OF POCKET. Aspen wont budge because of computer. It will take months before I get money back. Just like the last time. I prepaid $300 which I wasnt suppose to and it to calls and over a month to get my money back. If older people dont know their insurance plans....they may be in trouble. A week later....where is my money?
