Me and some of my family met here to watch the fireworks and to go to the carnival and we all LOVED it absolutely would go again. We all had a GREAT time.
The Toilets was terrible, Directly in the sun and full,Regular bathrooms were closed,Changing a diaper was virtually impossible without everyone seeing,Inside Porta Jons was so hot no toilet paper and smelled horrible,Loved the food stands prices was ridiculously high,Loved the Rides for the kids,12 dollars for a drink and 6 for a refill was also crazy priced,We left before the Fireworks hope to see some pictures,Loved the Bands
I went on 4th of July and Ive never been to A patriotic town before I loved it everyone was pissing red white and blue
Took the family here for the local Viking festival, and had a great time! Lots of vendors, some stages with different acts, and live jousting. Prices werent bad at all, and quite a few things for the kids to do
Very enjoyable live history festival! I especially enjoyed the stories of the warriors timeline near the gazebo. The weaknesses of the festival center on the limited selection of food vendors and the fact that there was no beer or wine.
We went for the annual Viking fest.
My children and I go to Deer Creek often and we love it! Fun place for the whole family, ample parking, and ranger is never very far. Just keep the water out of your mouth!!
Very nice local park. There is a playground, running / walking track, stage, shelter house, ball fields and an adjacent elementary school with its own playground and restrooms. The park is very well maintained and the local police department patrols the area regularly therefore I believe that this is a very safe location for you and your family to play and recreate. It is located right in the middle of town so it an easy location to get to by car, bicycle or walking.
I was a vendor at the Ashville Viking festival. It was a great time and the customers were awesome! I have always loved this event! I hope to be able to make it again next year!
Love the Ashville park, but they need new mulch in the play area.
Fireworks were great. Carnival was fun. It was packed.

I was here for the 4th of July festival and the grounds were being cleaned whenever I walked through. Nice spot of land to hold festivals.
Good space to rent for Birthday parties. The little ones have access to the playground. Its just nice to have the facility available.
Love it, went to Ashville since I was a little still love it as a adult. Get my fish sandwich and cotton candy and see whats new in crafts .
We went to the park to the concert of Tony Ellis and really enjoyed it. The surroundings are nice and easily handucap accessible. Beautiful park that was easy to find.
We come every year for the Ashville Viking Fest and it is awesome this year even with the rain it was still an awesome show
Love going there for the fourth of July carnival/festival, but the park is gross and dirty the whole week of the event.

Vicking festival 2018. They weather wasnt conducive a great day. But we made a great day out of it anyway.
To commercial, need to put games back to win teddy bears etc. Always a good place for a fish sandwich during 4th of July celebration.

Went to the fair here on July 1st. Very good for young kids. Small and lots of rides for kids. Plenty of food and very safe.

2021-07-27I went there recently from out of town for a baby shower for my daughter held by the babys fathers family. It was under the big canopy. Really great area for large gatherings!! Its a nice park! Very pretty & clean.However, the bathrooms were locked. I wouldnt think is such a small town that thered be that much vandalism, but maybe so. I really dont know. But, a locked bathroom with a very pregnant lady doesnt mix 😬 She managed! Also, there were no trash cans!! There were these barrel type things out in the field and another one by the shelter but no trash bags in them. Not sure if they were supposed to be used as trash cans, but we had no choice.For such a nice park, its a shame that the bathrooms arent open and trash cans arent available(?) on the weekends for families to be able to use the park for activities & parties. We went there because we needed a large area.

2019-05-04My group puts on the Ashville Viking festival. Its always fun regardless of weather. Free admission with a canned good. All the food is then delivered to the local food bank.

2021-07-05Went to the fair with my Daughter and her family this year. Games, rides, live band that even noticed my Grandbaby dancing her little butt off! Vendor booths, great greasy fair food topped off with 4th of July fireworms. Nice place filled with nice people!
