Nice building. Appears to be an abandoned mall with three stores and a UH urgent care attached to it. Kind of sad really I lived here when this was a corn field now a nice building not being utilized
Ashtabula is well Im concerned about the crimes that are obviously increasing and to me is starting to look just like Cleveland and the dead bodies n shootings n missing ppl increased.

Cleanliness is obviously not a top priority. And people are rude in the arcade and dont think that theres other people in the world and let their kids just cut in front of other people already playing games. Maybe a little more security would help.
So many big stores have left. I go for Joann Fabrics and the thrift store. Sad to see it slowly disappear. Nice restaurants nearby. Clean.
Im NOT commenting on Ashtabula Town Square Mall, since I wasnt actually in the mall!! My comments are directed at the UH doctors offices located where the old Sears store was. I love having access to my UH doctors right here in town. And the Urgent Care was a great addition to the offices!! You can get almost any testing done you need right in one building!! Theres family practices, and childrens doctor, and pain management, and almost any other specialty. What a great way to repurchase an unused space!!!
Only went in to eat at the Mexican restaurant. Food was good. Pricing is getting out of hand. Waitress could not remember anything.

The Ashtabula Mall is a beautiful facility and Im rooting for it to make a comeback. They recently built a connector road between the Mall and Walmart. I also heard University Hospitals is moving into the former Sears location.
Lots of great local businesses to be found here.

Sad to see all the stores gone from the Ashtabula Mall. My husband and I met helping move the JC Penney store over there from the Ashtabula Plaza many years ago. Were still going strong but through many transitions the JC Penney Co. is not!

Its become a very sad run down mall. Half the stores are either gone or just not open much. Theres only two places to go in the food court so if you dont like pretzels or Mexican food it might not be the best place to stop. Im hoping to see them fully turn around and get more stores in there and things to do and snack on. Use to be the hang out spot for everyone now its just a sad place to sit and people watch.

This place Is amazing, Ive gone here for many years and have watched the stores come and go. Although this place Is amazing they need to add some new stores, last time I was there, there were a bunch of empty stores that were for rent. Other than that Its an amazing place to go shopping and/or hangout!

When the Ashtabula Towne Square first opened it was a place to be proud of. It had a great variety of stores to shop from. Its the citizens fault it is not a thriving and well populated mall. We shouldve continued to shop locally and the businesses couldve survived

Our Mall has become a ghost town! Frequently went to a store inside the mall and even the employees seemed as if they couldnt wait until their shift was over, as I went closer to closing time, it saddens me this once thriving mall has become of this.
Would not surprise me if it shut down someday.

Compared to what it was in the 90s, our mall is horribly failing. Plazas keep popping up everywhere in Ashtabula instead of the mall where there are about 2-4 stores that should have over 20. UH should buy it over and turn it into a huge medical center. Or this is where the new prison/courts should go.

This mall used to be full of life and energy, but now its just a shell of its former self. However, they do still have a variety of stores. All of which have fairly friendly and helpful service. The food in the good court is actually pretty good, especially the pretzels. Just not for those who are avoiding salt..The stores inside are actually fairly large, considering where they are. So youll most likely find what you need. Its not the most fantastic place in the world, but its not bad.

All new Planet Fitness is so nice. Great pricing options. Tons of machines to workout with. Areas for more advanced people. The black card area is awesome. Check it out. Everybody could stand to lose a few pounds.

The Ashtabula Towne Square is a mere shadow of its former self. A post-generative relic of days wasted in youthful disregard for money. A memory only. never to be recovered. This former Shopping Mall is called back to usefulness most days as an indoor walking track for sweat suit clad seniors. The Ashtabula Towne Square much like those seniors is fighting against its inevitable conclusion.
Was that Dunhams sports. They rearranged the entire store. Barely have any golf shoes anymore. Hardly any golf equipment.

This mall really has nothing in it. It used to be really nice in the early 2000s but all the stores left. Now its left with only a few stores that you wouldnt go to unless you specifically need something. Its good for walking around in though.

This place isnt that terrible but it truly is below average. No before I give my reasons let me start off by saying Ashtabula Ohio within itself if you are familiar with it you should understand that there is not a lot of activity nor is there many upscale locations. So right off the bat the sanity there is terrible. Aside from that Mall itself is alright in terms of physical appearance but there is a very large lacking in good stores and options. There is next to no food stands and the only one is overpriced and sells pretzels.

Sad to see this place going down hill. Put in some unique food vendors like Chik Fil A or Panada Express and it will greatly compliment all stores there currently and in the future. What remains are quality stores, like the card shop, tuxedo place, and bath&body works
Ive seen this mall in its good years, bad years and worse years. But now the mall has a new owner and is really trying to make the mall great again! I love seeing the new stores that are coming in and cant wait till he gets bigger names in so I dont have to travel so far to get there. Also love coming for the movie theater as well as the new malt shop. 😀
This place is a joke. Desperate attempt to revive the mall. What a waste of a perfectly good building.Update:There are still a few remaining good stores. Plus some unique shops. Not a high traffic or high volume. Especially with the hospital taking up residence. Who knows... It may turn into a hospital. Ugh. Back in the day it was hopping. Probably because walmart moved in next door. 😢

Used to be a great mall! Than got sold off rent raised for stores and everyone had almost left. The good news is it houses our only movie theatre with good popcorn.
The new owners have done a great job with improvements. New stores and community events. We enjoy shopping here and visiting UH doctors here. Just joined Planet Fitness and love how nice it is. So excited to see all the growth can’t wait to watch what’s coming next! Our favorite stops are Bath and Body, Dunham’s, Joann’s, Shoe Dept, and JC Penney’s.

I really wish they would get more big box stores in here. It could be such a nice mall if people and companies would just invest into it rather than building new strip malls with more empty storefronts.
I love this mall. Ofcourse I do wish they had more shopping optoptions.I feel like they need more for young adults as they have plenty for the more adult crowd. Very nice shops inside none the less. I truly hope they never have to close the doors. We rented a room in this mall and it was great and was just as described. The woman who helped me was such a pleasant person to work with. Gail is truly the only reason I give 5 stars. If I ever need a room to rent in Ashtabula ever again then she is who I will go to.Thank you for your kindness.

Dunhams sports has an amazing staff. They brought out shoes for my bfs who has PTSD and struggles with anxiety. Her name was Mel and she was an absolute blessing 🙏

They oughta just turn the place into an indoor paintball or go-cart zone. It shouldnt even be called a mall, take the extra time, go to Mentor or Erie

Been coming here since i was a kid pretty much the only place i go to is buy, sell, trade not much here, but the yearly ( i think yearly) geek expos are pretty fun events.
This is a must do town in Northern Ohio.
Some stores still there--GOOD ones! University Hospitals doing a booming business at this location. Well-received there. Retail is missing the boat by not coming back en masse to the open store fronts. Would love to see this become an OUTLET MALL!!!

Was a dead mall, but has been turned around nicely. Still some big chains with smaller local stores filled in. Recent medical cares services added, so keep food court open and going. Owners seem to keep up with maintenance and improvements.

The food court is beautiful! However, there are not many restaurants/stores. Access to healthcare services through University Hospitals is a major plus! Would be a great place to walk in the winter!

We went to the movies. Had an enjoyable time with my grandsons and daughter. There was only 8 people there for the movie we watched. It just cost way too much for the movie, popcorn & drinks.
I miss how it used to be years ago. However I know they are trying to build it up. I myself would like to see a Chic-fil-a and a Starbucks come into the mall.

The place is great. Youve got two establishments to eat at in the food court, a card shop, and a movie theatre. I go here every chance I have.

2022-05-04It was a nice experience, hasnt been there in awhile. Nice to go to the buy, sell, and trade CDs store. And just walk around. It was nice atmosphere. Very calm and peaceful. Definitely recommend.

2022-04-21The employees where very nice and eager to assist. However, the seats in this place are horrible and Im not just going off of the places that have those wonderful lean back to far ones that are gonna have this mom snoring 10 minutes into the latest Spiderman and thats not because it is not a good movie! Im talking the seating is worse than I recall it ever being in a theater. It was like I had to have my son reach for my pop and hold it while I took a sip cuz my arms just didnt bend in the manner in which it called for due to the seating. Seemed like it took forever for the movie to start and the previews were way to loud!! Would not recommend but if your only option at least the staff is good!

2022-02-09Really like the setup of the mall and they keep it nice inside. Theres alot of good stores to shop at and lots of places with great food to choose from and eat. Ive always found good sales at most the stores and the best store is bath and body works

2022-03-16This place could have a lot of potential given the right circumstance with the right investors the problem is the location of this is in a area where population growth is more on the decline rather than the incline also rumors have it that rent is awful High compared to other places therefore it is not an ideal place to establish a new or existing business. Which is sad because this economy desperately needs a place like this to bring more income in generate more prosperity for the given area and community. The good news is those that are there are either surviving just above water or are making money because they have been there for some amount of time which means they have a formula that is working if only everybody to come together and turn this place back into what it once was a thriving mini mall or Mall as you call it it like I said it has potential it has customer traffic given that theres a Walmart next to it Tractor Supply next to it a Dunhams inside of it it has a full food court area it just needs the right investor but the right ideas and modernization
