We have been living here for more than a year. Maintenance is Terrible! Last year our water heater broke, and leaked through the ceiling of our living room. Maintenance was out the next day. They did a little bit to clean up. Then they said a contractor would have to come in to take care of our soaking wet carpet, and another to patch up the gaping hole in our ceiling. Since it crumbled apart from being water logged. It took 2 days for some one to help with the carpet, 3 weeks of calling and nagging to the main office desk, to even get anyone out, to help with our crumbling ceiling. Now currently we have a leak from the tub almost the same situation as last year. Its now been a month since we first called, and no one has patched the holes in our ceiling, and floor in our 2nd bedroom that they made. YET AGAIN! We are fed up! We get married in less than a month. Once all of the hustle dies down. We are breaking our lease, and demanding our deposit. I will take this company to court if I have to!Oh! Update! They like to take every last bit of your refund too! Apparently we will only be getting 20 dollars of our refund back, due to carpet damage and tub damage. They tried to blame it on our pets, but I am 100% Positive it is because they let our carpet sit and mildew when our water heater leaked in 2015 and they refused to come out and help. And we had issues with the tub leaking which they also refused to come out and fix! This place will screw you over till the very end! Would give them a -5 star review if we could!
I have had almost continuous sewer back ups in my apartment for the last 2 months. the emergency 24 hour line never returned my calls, this is an ongoing issue as it backs up every few days and not myself nor my neighbors can get the emergency line to be answered. the mgr verbally told me i would be allowed out of my lease with no penalty. the next day i was told the regional mgr said there was a change in circumstances (this was 2 hours after the verbal agreement me and the mgr made) and that i was not allowed out of the lease. she got the regional mgr on the phone who told me you need to abide by the lease you signed, or sue me. now you have 2 minutes to leave the office or i am calling the police. Mind you i had not raised my voice, used foul language, threaten or otherwise make a scene, this was illegal retaliation for me complaining about the fact that i havent had one weekend in the last 2 months when the sewers werent backing and i havent been able to use my plumbing. i have never in my life seen anyone treated this way when they have been experiencing raw sewage pouring into their home. they have not replaced anyones carpet even though my neighbors have a toddler and a baby on the way in a week. they tiled over my other neighbors sewer covered tiles without disinfecting nor cleaning the floors. this is the most unprofessional organization that i have even seen. under no circumstances should you rent here, the regional mgr says they only mulch every 3-5 years, he didnt care that there has been a motorcycle with no battery parked in front of my house for 10 months. and when you enter into a verbal agreement with the mgr they renege on it the next day. i am going to take them up their offer to sue them for the loss of quiet enjoyment of my home, putting me in physical peril by not properly cleaning raw sewage, and retaliation for putting in maintenance requests. Heres a pic of what my neighbors had in the toilet ALL weekend long
If I could rate a zero I would! I do not u repeat DO NOT recommend this apartment for anyone. My personal experience:: When my move in date was delayed for 5 hours after promised due to the apartment “not move in ready” I allowed the allotted time to get those fixed/finalized . Once I moved in it was late at night (after 5pm) again due to the delay. Caused inconvenience to my daughter and myself ..... the home was not cleaned properly I found cigarette buds on my back patio , razor head and hair in my bath tub and dust / webs everywhere. The closet doors were all broke , besides master bedroom. Water damage in kitchen drawers that were simply painted over , pipes in bathroom sink leaking and replaced improperly. The vent in master bedroom was not working at all, I could not open and close the vent as I pleased. The big issue and hazardous to my home and daughter was the mold that was created on the back patio door frame which I have pictures of and should have never existed before move in. My daughter and I have bad allergies and asthma which made the situation worse but most importantly not safe for ANYONE to live in . Overall I was mortified for my daughter and I to move in to this horrible conditions considering the options I have over all other places I searched . The prompted apartments that I viewed on the property weren’t nearly as horrifying as the apartment I ended up getting placed with. I have others that were looking to rent and by this representation of the apartments and how unprofessional every single associate that has been involved has really caused a lot of potential residents to turn the over way . I am providing this information to help concerns for others that have experienced the same issues if not worse. These concerns were addressed to an associate Rachel Smith who did absolutely nothing but say well ... “you do have the perk of having all new carpet” which had to have a very very good reason for them to do so , considering there is no work that they have done what so ever or replaced. I then spoke with the office manger [Jennifer Budd] on site of Fairfield , Ohio location that has not been able to help what so ever in compensating what I have went through . I was moved out in the first 24 hours but yet still was charged the prorated amount for the ENTIRE month for just one day in the apartment. Still have not heard back from corporate , PLEASE do your research before signing a lease. I thought I did everything I was supposed to but was still cheated. I really do hope this helps others make the right decision.
I have been a resident here for 8.5 years. Things have been declining for the past two years but ever since the complex sold to a new leasing company, it’s been an absolute NIGHTMARE. We are currently on WEEK TWO without a working refrigerator. This is the 3rd time our fridge has went out and ruined all of our food.. YET THEY REFUSE TO REPLACE IT. Hundreds of dollars literally thrown away. Their solution? Giving me keys to the clubhouse to use the communal fridge until the “part” comes in. UMMMM. No, thank you! My kitchen flooded in MAY and I still have a huge hole in the ceiling, above my stove.. sanitary right?! When I called the emergency maintenance line at 7pm about the water pouring in to my kitchen I was told to “grab a bucket”. Nobody showed up until the next afternoon. My home flooded several months ago, ruining a lot of my things, some of it was irreplaceable. I was told that they can’t help that the plumbing is “old”... Raccoons were living in the walls of my unit for almost 6 weeks. I called the office SEVERAL times a week. Especially when the raccoon would hang out on our patio all afternoon... I was told they cannot control wildlife. The city of Fairfield had to come out and request for the animal removal. They caught the mother and left the babies in the wall to die. As if that is not enough I am charged a monthly fee for “trash removal” yet my children can not even play at the park because it is full of TRASH. Food, condom wrappers, blunt wrappers, beer cans. They even have their own little trash dump starting in the back of the complex!!!! Old couches, mattresses etc!!! It’s horrible to see this place go downhill so quickly but better believe our rent definitely went up!!!!!!!!
I still have a hard time believing what I experienced during my stay at Arbor Pointe. The office has established hours of operation, but they tend to leave when they want to leave. On several occasions, I’d show up a solid 15 minutes before close and see them locking up and power walking to their cars to go home. When we moved in everything seemed perfect and Janae Kimble was so nice. We loved speaking with her while PLK owned the place. All was well until a small leak in the bedroom started. Little did we know that this leak would be the start of our nightmare. I put in a service request the following morning and we got someone to do a patch job later that day. Several months later, the leak returns. At this point, the complex is owned by Monarch and no longer a PLK property. This is when things started to really go downhill. The bedroom leaks are getting worse and I notice that I have to borderline harass the office staff to get something done about it and at this point, the rate of the water drops becomes unbearable at night. To make things worse, we notice a leak in the living room too and had to report it. Their excuse for not fixing it sooner was that their maintenance men were overloaded. That’s cool and all, but how many of them are sleeping through leaks and have bubbles forming in their walls and ceilings? A few weeks later a bubble pops and now we have a mini waterfall coming from our wall. We finally get a worker to come by after flooding the office with calls. All he did was poke another hole in the wall, caused another waterfall and left us with a bucket. Great, now it’s even louder and harder to sleep through this. Few weeks pass, the leaks get worse and at this point, there’s never a second without the sound of dripping water hitting a bucket. We still get the runaround or an absurd ETA. At this point, we’re staying in different places and literally hated coming back to that apartment. A month or 2 away from the lease ending, I hear a loud BOOM in the bedroom at around 4:00 AM. I walk into the master bedroom and low and behold, the ceiling collapsed and soaked half of our queen sized bed and and damaged some of our belongings. Now there’s a gaping hole in the ceiling and the bucket is getting full. At this point I no longer care about that carpet and abandon that room altogether. I moved all of my things from that room because I refuse to spend my days moving/switching buckets around while Im PAYING RENT TO STAY HERE. Like seriously, can you imagine paying rent and having to do the extra labor of emptying MULTIPLE buckets in multiple rooms while your ears are flooded with the sound of water splashing against plastic? It still annoys me to this day thinking about what these people were asking of me. A week later, the LIVING ROOM ceiling collapses, so now our apartment sounds like Niagara falls whenever it rained and trust me, IT POURED DOWN for weeks. This was supposed to be our home.. We were never late on rent and took care of everything on our end, yet the service we received was horrible. I showed my father the condition of the apartment and he was truly disturbed and actually urged me to take legal action for how they handled this. I spoke with a tenant who lived across the hall and he also told me that his ceiling collapsed in his bedroom. I ended up moving out at the end of my lease. Ceilings still had gaping holes in them, the sound of water crashing down on plastic and nothing was ever truly fixed through my whole lease. The only thing Arbor Pointe can really flaunt around is that they just so happen to be located in Fairfield. I have videos and photos of this damage and waited until I’ve stacked my rental history, so I no longer need these people as references. You’ve been warned. I’d avoid this place. There are plenty of alternatives that give you a better quality of living for a lot less. When I received a notification of rent increase, I laughed. Again, youve been warned.
We have been here since April 2018. We love it but, it came with many hipcups. You could tell the power struggle between the office staff. No communication or attention to good customer service. I believe they had forgotten we are the consumer that helps to pay them that paycheck. After owning a house for 29 years this was a huge change. It is quiet and peaceful. I am so happy to see another property management group is in charge. This is a positive change long overdue. I was very worried after hearing the horror stories by other residents at the pool at start of summer. Hopefully moving forward It will not be as frustrating and that the units are move in ready and you do know what unit you are getting prior to final move in payment. That was terrifying not able to see where they are placing you prior. The only thing we knew was it was 2 bedrooms townhome with washer dryer hook ups. The previous staff never answered the phones let alone return emails or voice messages. The maintenance staff was whole other story and a road i am glad not to travel down anymore. Yes it is more to live here after going thru the other places in the area but, there is no section 8 and close to every thing. I did go to office today to meet some of the new staff. It was so much cleaner and more inviting. They didnt make me feel like i was bothering them and i was able to get real answers to my questions.
Disgusting place to live, sewer water flooded my apartment every 2 weeks for the year long lease I had, the. Black mold festered in the carpet from the constant flooding, management refused to update the plumbing and even refused to fix the black mold, these people are thieves! Do not live here!
Do not move in this place. They will tow your vehicle for having a low tire and it will cost 200 dollars to get it out if impound. This happened twice to me, as they allow predatory towing to take place in their lot. They allow workers to cut the grass and vacuum the carpets at ODD hours of the day including early mornings and late evenings, so forget about trying to sleep. They also raise your rent for no apparent reason after your lease is up and management is the worse I have ever seen. They do not care about anything except getting you to sign a lease, even if it includes harassment from all levels of management.
We lived at Arbor Pointe for about 7 years. When we moved in , the staff was fabulous...everyone was nice and helpful, grounds were maintained. Over the years, staff changed frequently. For the most part it was still ok. When Monarch bought out PLK, things took a drastic plunge. We gave them the benefit of the doubt at first but only got worse. You had to literally make it seem dangerous before maintenance would come out. We had a leak from a broken water heater forever, caused a huge hole in our ceiling and it just seemed like no big deal to them. Then a couple doors down there was a pipe break and ended up flooding our towhouse....at 10pm. Now we are talking major flood in our living room, water standing. I called the emergency phone 31 times as did my neighbor. His response the next day after not answering any of the calls....I turned the phone off because I was tired. SERIOUSLY?? You think we slept?? Then they cancelled orders online constantly. Just not a good place anymore. Rent was to high for shotty maintenance, rundown property, and unhelpful office staff. We moved first of April and we couldnt be happier! And...we ALWAYS paid rent early...they lost good renters in US! I dont recommend this place at all. Search elsewhere. Cynthia is the only plus to Arbor Pointe and she deserves better!! Run fast from here!
My daughter and son in law live here. Not only is the plumbing incredibly out dated, it leaks causing mold. They have mold in the living room carpet and on the walls. I have contacted the health department to rectify the situation as the only option they were given was “that the carpet would be cleaned”. Anyone knows this doesn’t cure mold. When I spoke with the manager, whom is incredibly rude, I was told “I’m not on the lease therefore she can’t discuss the situation with me”. That’s fine. I guarantee she will discuss “the situation” with the health department. DO NOT LEASE HERE. I don’t generally give negative reviews, ever. But this one is completely necessary. When it comes to the health of your children, there is no room for “fluff”.
Rather underwhelmed by my experience thus far. Management doesnt seem to care too awfully much. Evidently there is no option to have someone take over the lease if you need to leave sooner than you thought. Never heard of a complex that doesnt allow that. Not necessarily recommended
I have lived at Arbor Pointe for coming up on 4 years now. I was contacted about renewing my lease 3 months early and told that the price will go up if I didnt accept $20/mo rent raise. I called to approve it only to be told that it will actually be $40/mo with new fee schedule for Monarch Management taking over. The grounds are no longer being maintained. The building entryway is filthy. I do not recommend.
Charged $125 late fee for rent being paid 6 minutes late. Called and explained that I had a family emergency that I was dealing with and it slipped my mind and I paid it as soon as I realized. Literally 6 MINUTES LATE. I asked if I could get a one time waiver of the fee as I had never been late before and in fact paid part of the rent 2 weeks prior as I do every month. Was told no they don’t care if it’s one minute late and if they did it for me they have to do it for everyone. Was told another person would call me back to discuss it but of course never got that call. I’m now sitting with a family member in the hospital and trying to figure out how we are going to eat this week. $125 is an extreme penalty for late fees especially for only being minutes late. Shameful
Moved in a within a day I started getting bit. Well it was fleas. Went to office to inform them off problem, they were more then willing to help until the spray man said I had no fleas. I pay once a month for my townhouse to be sprayed but they refuse to. Just called the health department yesterday and looking for a lawyer to suit these company.
The new management over the last couple years or so has absolutely ruined this place. They let the worst refuse of humanity live here, dangerous area. Maintenence men come in and out of your apartment whenever they please with very little notice, no privacy. Trash everywhere, laundry rooms are broken into and trashed by low lifes. Would not recommend living here.
Ive lived here 22 years, mostly happily. Staff and neighbors over the years have been great. Problems have been addressed, though sometimes delayed without good communication. The current new buyout with a new company and all new staff is a concern. The new staff are not friendly, they say the right things, almost like programmed replies, with stern tones whereas we are used to smiling happy people who try to know their residents. The new staff show no interest so far. They have a lot to learn and could start by demonstrating Friendly 101.
We have been there almost two years now and so far so good. We enjoy the pool and also the party room. They do a good job at having different events for the family at the party room. The playground is very conveniently placed for our small children to play. We enjoy our town house and now even more with our newly renovated patio deck. We have had a few minor complaints with some maintenance issues and response times. I also think that they should put back up the basketball hoops they took down to keep non-residents from playing. Overall the complex is well kept and decent place to raise your family.
Ive lived here for 2 1/2 yrs. Cant wait to leave. My entire bldg has reeked of pot, my car was hit in the parking lot at night and the d-bag who did it left, and for weeks, my neighbor has had blaring music playing for hours at a time. Ive spoken to office staff multiple times, but it has not been resolved. Most people do not supervise their kids, so there is usually screaming, cussing, and crying coming from the playground, which is probably why staff screams at kids. Cops are at the complex on the regular, including at the playground. Laundry facilities are garbage. Half of the washers and dryers are usually out of order. The apartment Im in is nice. For the most part, the complex is, too. The maintenance guys are friendly. Really, its the unhelpful office staff and some trashy residents that make this place ghetto.
I have lived in Arbor Pointe for 16 years. 2 townhouse and now an apartment. I raised my family in this complex with no problems. I have always been treated good by the management. When I have a problem they always fix it in a timely manner. They keep the property very well maintained. I highly recommend Arbor Pointe to anyone
It used to be a quiet building. The new neighbors have damaged the tranquility of it. loud music, not control of their children, practically all day running. visits screaming that they do not know what it is to live in apartments. They do not have consideration for others jumping on the stairs in the hall, on 915 BD. You call the police for loud music and they scream, I can not do anything here. you live in an apartment, other neighbors do not, we are interested in your music. We want to be in peace doing our things. I think they have to have hearing problems, because they do not speak they scream. They should definitely live somewhere alone. in the jungle for example.
They change up management but their attitudes havent changed. Thats the problem. Its how you treat and talk to people. Then I was called Billie even after I introduced myself a few times as Bobbie. But this is New Management And by the way pest control came out and found no evidence of holes or anywhere else a mouse could have come in. He asked if we keep our doors open Lol NO. Theyre planting mice to get the old tenants out to raise the rent $200 higher for newer tenants. But they are great at telling you with a newer lease rent will increase with no upgrades. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP.....
I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We’ve been living here since January. They recommended this place to us saying it was a good neighborhood and just close to work.First thing was the bathroom pipes, the smelled like poop whenever the second floor flushed their toilet, and then two times in a row our bathroom and hallway in front of the door got flooded because they thru something in the toilet that’s wasn’t suppose to.So now, august/september we got new neighbors on both seconds floors.THEY SMOKE AT ANY HOURS AND JUST FOREVER.You can’t breath in your own apartment, you CAN’T turn your own AC because your apartment will be filled with the nasty smell that doesn’t let you breath..We have allergies for days, headaches, we can’t breath if is not under our bed sheets covers. It is horrible living here, a total nightmare. And we CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.It is so unhealthy, inhumane.OH, and if you want to end your lease you have to pay like 2 or 3 months.Punishment enough...Sad that we have to live with this.
Just received papers from the attorney for the complex.... threatening further legal action for failure to fulfill my lease.... for a townhouse Im still actively paying rent for...? From what Ive heard, Im not the first person to receive this type of communication from their attorneys. After a great experience living here and many recommendations to friends and coworkers, this experience completely changes my point of view.
Ever since they have gotten new management this place has gone completely down. The people in the office dont place work orders and when you call a week later they say they never completed it in the computer. Now they want you to pay extra fees just to pay the rent and you cant pay in the office anymore come March 1st. The rent is already high enough. They want you to pay 2.95% if you pay with a debit or credit card. They will charge your account 2.95 to have it taken out automatically. Or you can go to a store and pay it with a $4 extra charge. Its ridiculous and Ive never heard of such a thing. Last year they went up $60 on our rent when were already paying a high amount on a 3bdrm. Were moving as soon as our lease is up.
Currently living here now. I had my car broken into about a month ago, and while I was gone on a weekend vacation someone tried getting into my apartment through the back door. I have had a lot of problems with bugs (spiders, ants, rolli-pollis, and even maggots) and I keep my house clean. Ive complained a few times about loud music and yelling late at night but nothing has been resolved. They keep up on the landscape and so far I havent had any issues with them cheating me out of money but Im getting fed up with the bugs and noise.
COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!I called and scheduled a viewing days in advance just to be notified less than 2 hours from my appointment that they have no such availability and then offered me something completely different. A total waste of my time without even an apology. People schedule their time around appointments to avoid this situation entirely. I can only imagine how this translates to their management abilities.
I have lived here for two years. Not only has the rent gone up twice in the past two years. Now they are making us pay an additional $40(per month) to use their (NOT OPTIONAL) online rent system. The apartments are not kept in well enough condition for the ridiculous price they charge. DO NOT move here!
Not very happy since PLK sold out to Monarch Investments end of last year. First thing they did was replace all the toilets ( which is a good thing, saves money), however, my new one does not cover the old template on the floor and there is a 2 gap showing concrete around the toilet, and they have not said they will replace my floor. Also, went to the office and found out they are not going to mulch anywhere but in front of office & when PLK owned they had a great lawn service and already would have been mowed and mulched. We have had no entrance lights to the complex and no plans to correct. They no longer clean the hallways each week like PLK did, faithfully, and there is trash all over the neighborhood. Sorry to say, looks to me like were going downhill fast!
Was very disappointed in living there for a year. The staff were quite rude and not very helpful at resolving issues. Had a lot of insect and bed bug issues that were not handled well by management. Sprung several surprise charges on us which turned out to be incorrect to begin with. Following us moving out they refused to give our deposit back and tried to charge us for living there longer than we did.
I been doing some work for them...very friendly & calm. Load back what I like....that was then the owner come into view Peter of PLK hes a unthankful and inconsiderate guy. I painted for him he bandages all his complexes up n call them renovated lol. A community calped Mallard lakes on RT 4 a luxury townhome complex uses the same appliances floor carpet cabinet countertop everything as the low-income Section 8 run down Colerain area apartments with roaches and bed bugs . I painted almost all of his complexes from low into high-end and they all have the same exact equipment in them for everything so know when you get a rent one of those units I check into that Woodmere Apartments Mallard Lakes Townhomes Arbor Pointe Apartments burgundy Court Woodmere... He had backyard construction workers doing all of his work for nothing and it is all s*** work that falls apart leaks almost every unit its for mold I seen it first-hand
I know nothing about these apartments, but they spam the heck out of craigslist. Good luck searching for apartments and/or townhomes, youll find the SAME ad for Arbor Pointe listed as many times as all other apartments combined. In my experience, people like that are zero trustworthy.
After living here for over a year I can say this was by far one of my worst life experiences. The smell of weed in my hallway is so bad it comes into my apartment and makes it stink. Im embarassed to have friends and family over and my kids are scared to go outside due to the heavy drug traffic. Cars stop in front of our building and honk for their drugs, happens all night long. The domestic violence is so bad my kids are woken up in the middle of the night. Complaining does nothing as well. I have been forced out of my apartment bc of the illegal activities and the fear for my children. Think twice before putting your family through this nightmare!
I have lived here for 2 and a half years and loved it up until the New management came in! Now the staff is rude as can be they charge you for unnecessary charges. They don’t work with you if you have any problems. The absolute worst place you could ever live! I recommend they get new staff!!
For what we pay here the place needs some tlc...landscaping the facility not just the entrance...as a renter i enjoy the landscaping in my area as well....Can this happen ???Maintenance has improved but getting approval to do more than a aimple fix is asking alot.....dealing with rotting wood outside on exterior is now drawing carpenter bees...needs fixed and i dont mean with a can of bee spray!!exterior needs painted along with roofing issues and shigles missing all over facilitu....
We love it here love are 3 bedroom home staff soo nice too only problem is parking it sucks we can’t nevet park in front our home cause few out neighbors have 3/4 cars there should be asighned parking so this don’t happen that way u got 4 cars park in back we got 1 car can’t even park in front of our home 🏡have to park other side far away sad that’s onlx thing that’s bad here
I filled out an application paid my money online brought back check stubs and all the necessary paperwork for them to tell me I need it more paperwork so then at that point I got frustrated and I change my mind and ask for a refund of my money it took them 2 seconds to take the money out of my account but now I have to wait 30 to 60 days to get my money back

2022-03-08I’d give them 0 if I could. Coming up on my 3rd year. In the time I’ve been here all of my vehicles have been broken in to and trashed. Been 10 feet from a shootout that happened in the back on buckhead. Whole loads of laundry stolen. All things I have police reports on and constantly raising rent. Why raise rent when you guys can’t figure out all these problems and keep your tenants safe, and act very carelessly when notified.

2021-05-15I lived in the front of the community as soon as you enter the property. The street is Stonegate. My experience here was pleasant for the last two years. There were the occasional unavoidable apartment situations such as no parking at times (if neighbors had events) a neighbors whining dog and clearly hearing whats happening in the room connected to my bedroom.. A few hard slaps on the wall accompanied by a loud, Hey I can hear you! fixed the matter though. My 11 year old had reported hearing noises 😳 😔. Otherwise, the property was generally quiet and very clean. I often had stink bugs or spiders here and there from time to time, but pest control usually helped. Never have I ever seen a roach! I had a lovely view from the balcony and a cozy space altogether. Sometimes maintenance was hit or miss when fixing stuff, but someone always comes out quickly for repairs. Routine inspections were completed for fire safety and notices were always on doors when there was a community issue or a home that needed to be entered. The office staff are polite and helpful. Youre close to many things in Fairfield living at this location, like the library, Kroger, restaurants, jungle gyms, and schools. My five star rating is based off of my total experience here and not the occasional uncontrollable apartment situations mentioned. Residents and visitors should drive slowly when entering the community as it was always difficult to see traffic coming from the left as I exited the property when turning off my street.

2022-01-05I have been a resident coming up three years and I have had no issues from the property mangement or maintenance staff. What I find is when certain residents blame the Rental property staff and simply dont take responsibilty of keeping their rental appt area and pick up their thrash, that they send their children to the trash dumpsest knowlying that its not going to be put into the dumpstest, but yet you blame the property staff for your own irresponsible behavior as a Renter. Dont believe half of these negative comments, understand you are the keeper of how you want to live.

2022-05-11How the hell are you all charging a $300 non refundable fee just to APPLY ?? And if your approved the $300 doesn’t even go towards your deposit ?? WHAT ?! I used to live in Arbor Pointe and it was nice, have you all read your own reviews lately ?? Rent is high already $300 non refundable fee just to apply is absurd .

2021-10-19If I could give them zero stars I would. We applied here and don’t have much credit because we are such a young couple just starting out. Well we had to pay $330 just to apply. We ended up getting declined and $195 of that $330 said it was a move in fee. I called and the lady told me it is all non refundable. I get we had to pay for the application fee which was no problem but there should be no reason we have to pay the move in fee when we aren’t moving in. The lady on the phone is very rude and always has an attitude every time I called.

2019-07-30I wish I could give 0 stars. New management is beyond bad. They don’t maintain the property. Litter isn’t picked up. I’ve seen drug deals go down in the parking lot. Not a safe place for me or my family. They have an old lot that they dump all old mattresses and other furniture until they can fill up a big trash container, which takes weeks.I called maintenance because I had a clogged drain. I had to fix it myself. They came by three or four days later. This complex is the worst part of Fairfield.

2019-07-05Ive lived here for a full year. Recently, the owning company changed, and its been nonstop problems in my building since. Theyve made a few lease payment changes without informing us. They changed our PayLease account without informing us. We had a plumbing issue in our building and had people out to fix it every other day, with the plumbing being constantly unusable for days at a time for almost a full month. We had our bathroom treated for mold, because our bathroom had flooded with the maintenance, but our neighbors, WITH A NEW BORN BABY, were never treated and are now trying to fix a mold problem as well. They never inform you of anything. If you work a regular 9 to 5, seeing or talking to anyone in the office is impossible, since the only after office hours line is maintenance, and even then they only pick up SOMETIMES. Definitely the biggest hurdle is finding someone to talk to, and convincing them to tell you what is happening with literally anything. Wouldnt recommend living here. Ive never in my life had renting problems this bad. We still have a gaping hole in our drywall they cut for plumbing maintenance. Dont even bother, way too much of a headache.

2018-09-27If I could give this place a 0 I would. The people at the leasing office act like they can never answer the phone during business hours. The rent is ridiculous for what this place is worth. Every few months maintenance has to come to patch up my roof because the same 3 spots are always leaking. My kitchen window is rotted and you could easily punch a hole in the wall. Instead of pulling up the old laminate flooring and putting new laminate down they just glue it on top of the old flooring. The hallways need to be cleaned more often and the parking lot needs to be better lit at night. I have been living here going on 5 years and thats only because of how close it is to my job. Thankfully I will be leaving this place by next year or hopefully sooner. If you are looking to move here dont!!! For the prices they are asking people to pay you could live in a much better environment.Ok so here’s an update. I gave the leasing office my 30 day notice. They never got back with me about it until I called them the week of me moving out. I had to call the leasing office 7 times before they even picked up the phone. The customer service here is garbage!!! I even drove up to the leasing office and called them to see if they would pick up and they are just sitting in there laughing and carrying on like they don’t have a business to run. They scheduled a walk through at the very last minute and didn’t even call my boyfriend and I to let us know the status of our security deposit. My boyfriend had to call emergency maintenance just to find out information. The leasing office doesn’t close until like 6 and he blew up their phone around 4 and no answer. I am so happy to be leaving here. The staff is unprofessional and the apartments are nowhere near worth the price they’re asking for. Don’t bother moving here, it’s not worth the hassle.
