I was very happy with my experiences with them. They knew what they were doing got the problem diagnosed gave me a price and had the part with them so when I said okay they got the part on checked everything to make sure it worked and put everything back the way it was and cleaned up afterwards. They gave me a call to let me know they were on there way over. Everyone was so professional and nice. I would use them again.
Took care of my elderly parents gas dryer repair. ordered a part they didnt end up using and credited then back. Very honest and did a great job and now my parents have a dryer again and they didnt have to do much to get it fixed. Thank yu Appliance Man for your conscientiousness
If you want them to schedule your appointment when they want, go With this company. I scheduled an afternoon appointment to service our dryer in the afternoon. I received a text stating between 9am-1pm. This was not the timeframe that was originallyAgreed upon, as we already had an appointment for something else scheduled in the AM. I called to rectify this and the person I spoke with stated that this was the time frame that suited them best for their route. I told them that this was scheduled a week ago for the afternoon. They stated they could set a time for another day. I told them that I wanted the agreed upon time frame and she said she could take me off the schedule. This was all the day before the appointment. Super unprofessional and this is a great indicator of how important their customers and their time is. Terrible. I’m sure I’m not the first lost customer because of this issue.
When the tech arrived I told him the exact same thing I told them on the phone when I made the appointment. He explained that the Electronic control board, (keypad for cycle selection) was no good and would Need to be replaced. The service call was $150 (which I was aware of) Not including any parts. I assumed they would do some type of analysis to find out what the issue was. But I told him the same thing that I told the person making the appointment and if I would’ve known there was no way to repair it I would’ve never had them come. They could’ve told me on the phone when I called for the appointment what the issue was and asked me if I would be interested in replacing the part. There was no reason at all for a service call and it was an extremely easy way for them to make $150 in a 15 second determination. Keep in mind it wasn’t the technicians fault, it was whoever answered the phone.
Our oven was showing all the function lights at once and beeping at cool down then showing there had been a power failure. Technician took the oven out of the cabinet and checked the main board. One wire may have been loose and the top vent was covered in dust. Both were corrected and so far the oven is performing as it should. The bad news is if the oven acts up again, its time for a new oven as parts are no longer available. We have used Applianceman Service for many years and always been pleased with their service and professionalism.
The pin that holds the oven select knob broke off my LG range. I called Appliance Man and they were able to come out in 4 days to fix it. The tech was polite and on time. I received text messages with a reminder the day before and when the tech was on the way. The part was $14, but my bill was $305. That included the service charge for coming out, labor, the part, and taxes. A bit pricey, but it’s fixed.
Very friendly and professional people. Technician explained what was happening with our ice machine. Did a cleaning and when arrived at a later date with an updated kit, the ice machine started to work. Only charged for a service call with a window of time that if the ice machine fails they will install the kit without a service call charge. Which is great because the ice machine did fail again. I will be calling them again and will call for all other appliance issues. Great service!!
Excellent service. The service provider was very professional and pleasant. He found out why the refrigerator was making such a noise. The part needed to fix it was not being made anymore, however, he was able to stop the noise. We can no longer get water and ice but can still use the freezer and upper part part of the refrigerator.
They ordered a part for us, and we were able to replace the part. Very helpful when we ordered. They gave us a call to be sure we had picked it up. Allowed us to open box on site to compare it with old part. We would recommend them. In the past, they have also come to our home for repairs.
The service tech was very knowledgeable. The only disappoint was when they came out for my initial service they did not have the replacement part I needed so they had to reschedule another appointment. At the same time my reschedule appointment was then reschedule again due to a service tech having a personnel issue. What I did not like was having to pay for a service call twice just because they did not the part the first time.
The service person was great. Identified the problem on my cheap/old dishwasher, said it was not worth the price to repair and suggested a better brand for a future dishwasher. He only charged me for the service call, even though he had to spend some time IDing the problem. Will call them again for our next appliance repair.
Our washing machine was stuck without spinning and draining the water. Jason from Applianceman Service came out for a service/diagnostic call. He asked a few questions, listened to the washer, and knew immediately what the problem was and proceeded with the repair. Everyone I worked with on the phone and with Jason in person was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Applianceman Service and will call them for repairs in the future.
The technician was very knowledgeable and after very negative experiences with another company, he was able to repair the dishwasher and undo the damage done by a technician from the previous company. The customer service was excellent; they answered the phone and scheduled in a timely manner. Overall, this was a very positive experience.
Professional, prompt and friendly. Have used them before with other appliances. My only issue is that their service call and rates are expensive. However, if they have to return after ordering parts service call is waived. This is standard for most companies. They are one of very few that work on Thermador appliances so I don’t have many options.
Doug from Applianceman repaired a plugged drain line in my SubZero wine cooler. It was a difficult job requiring him to dismantle a large part of the unit. He was very persistent in making sure the blockage was removed properly and was very professional in his demeanor. I am very pleased with his work.
After 3 visits and many weeks, they still didnt know what was wrong with my microwave or how to fix it. They wanted to send a 4th person out to try replacing another part to see if that would fix it. By this time, I had already spent nearly the same amount of money as buying a new microwave. I can only speak to the microwave repair situaiton, I wouldnt recommend it.
We loved our experience! Scheduling an appointment was easy and the person I spoke to on the phone was very kind and professional. Our repair man, Kory, was awesome. He was on time, prompt, and friendly. He was very honest and explained what was wrong with our washer in ways we could understand. Hopefully we won’t need to utilize The Applianceman anytime soon, but next time we need something repaired, we will definitely call them first!
The lights in my range hood went out. Applianceman came out and said it was the transformer. They said it would be about $450 and asked for a deposit, which I gave. They came out as scheduled and replace the transformer. Both trips were about 15 minutes each in the house. The final invoice showed the part was only $108, trip fee and labor $340. That seems high to me. Applianceman said the transformer got hot, showed me the heat damage. He gave me the old one to toss. On it was written 15 watt max. I did not know this and was using 20 watt. When I replaced the 20 watt with 10 watt bulbs I saw on a heatshield again a warning to use 15 watt max. I think a more conscientious repairman would have told me this, after all, that is how to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I was lucky I looked at the old transformer before tossing or I would not have known.
I have used this company in the past and they had been pretty decent to work with. Something has changed. After agreeing to pay them a $90 service fee just to show up (fee is charged whether they can fix the problem or not), I went ahead and completely rearranged my schedule for the soonest possible appointment more than a week later. On the morning of my scheduled appointment they called and cancelled on me.At least they called to cancel. Do I get to charge them $90 for wasting my time? They didn’t even offer to reschedule with a waived service fee for my inconvenience. Very unprofessional. I will find another service provider.
As a builder I understand it’s very hard to find good quality work AND good customer service skills.... I’ve worked with the service tech DOUG twice now and he has both of those things. I go and supervise while he works on various things for my homeowners- he’s been enjoyable to speak with and highly knowledgeable both times. He is very polite to my homeowners and relates to them so much so that I’ve had 2 comments about how nice he was. I will not be using any other company any time soon. Highly recommend!
Bosch had them do my dishwasher repair; I had pulled it out and taken a peek, but wasnt able to find the leak. They found a cracked original part, processed it under the Bosch warranty, and (despite the backordered Bosch part and 2021-related shipping delays) came back the day after the part was delivered to replace it. Everything has been working normally again for weeks now. Would use again for other appliance repairs based on this experience.
I have used Applianceman Service for several years and each time--they provide consistent and excellent service. Customer service is ALWAYS positive and they follow up right away. Their technicians are well-trained and knowledgeable as well as polite and pleasant. Mike--who is the manager is always committed to make sure I am kept in the loop if there are any issues that need attention. All in all--I HIGHLY recommend this company for any of your appliances.
We had a service call scheduled to have our dishwasher repaired. Scheduling the repair was simple and easy. The technician was scheduled to arrive at our home today, and the window we were given was 10AM-2PM. This morning I received multiple phone calls and text messages from Mike attempting to move our window to 8AM-12PM and plan for our home to be the first call. I told Mike this would be fine. Mike then proceeded to tell me it is imperative no one is in the room while the technician works. Given the current health situation, this did not seem unreasonable. I told Mike we have 5 children and we would do the best we can. Mike then proceeded to tell me he wanted to cancel our service call because I could not absolutely guarantee no one would be in the room. I then reminded Mike that our original scheduling window was 10AM-2PM. My agreement to move our scheduled time was doing a favor to him and his service tech because they would already be in our area. Mike was extremely rude and begrudgingly agreed to honor the original scheduled time. After speaking with my wife, we agreed we would find another company to perform our repairs because of the way Mike handled this situation. I called back to cancel the appointment and asked to speak with Mikes manager. I found out during this call Mike is the owner of the company.I cannot tell you if this company does good work, but their owner was extremely unprofessional in his handling of our service call.
I dont take giving a bad review lightly, but I have been extremely patient. Our Maytag icemaker stopped working, so I contacted Applianceman. A repairperson from Applianceman came to our home on 22 January, looked at the unit and said the icemaker going out was pretty common for this particular Maytag and it would need to be replaced. I agreed and paid him $469. Here we are 22 April - a full 90 days - three (3) months from the original service date. Still no working icemaker. Applianceman has not initiated a single communication with me regarding the repair or updating me on the status of the part. They responded once, but only when I reached out to them after 30 days, and stated the item is on back order with no time frame. But they kept my money so I cant even reach out to another repair service that may be more responsive and able to complete the job. Any company has to be more professional than this company. When this fiasco is over, I will never, never use this company again.
Our LG refrigerator had stopped cooling, and I had done several diagnostics and repairs myself without success before calling Applianceman. They sent Nick out to my home, and were even able to get me in a day earlier. Nick was very professional and knowledgeable and took into consideration the work I had already done, which I appreciated very much. He had a good idea of what was wrong based on what I had already tried, and walked me through testing and confirming the problem.Given the cost of the repair versus the cost of a new unit, we decided not to repair this one, and he was able to give me advice and tips for our future purchase.Im very satisfied with this service!
After reading the reviews, both positive and negative, i called and Mike the owner answered and we set the appointment. Very curteous and professional. Paul came out to do the repair and was friendly, professional and informative and humorous. Our 4 year old dryer needed a new mother board. He ordered it and even called his office to make sure it was ordered today since it was past 3pm deadline to order since we have 2 grand kids living with us and loads of laundry to do. This was Wed and Friday as he promised he came out and fixed it. Worth every dollar I paid. I will use them again!! Next time I will not buy a Whirlpool washer and dryer I will spend a little more for a Speed Queen set!!
I scheduled an appointment for my LG refrigerator door-in-door model where the smaller outside door no longer latched and had suddenly stopped working. I was told there would be an $89 service fee and scheduled an appointment for the latter part of the week. Several days before my scheduled appointment they called and said they were in my area and could stop in as they had a technician 5 minutes from my house. I was excited and said yes. The technician came in, opened and closed the door and basically hit a reset button on the inside of the door ( I was not aware existed) and this brought the level/latch back up and it was working. He had not been in my house more than 1 minute and I asked, since you didnt technically service anything and just hit a reset button, you are not going to charge me the full $89 are you? He had me call their manager Mike who told me they make only $4 /per service call out of that $89 and that they would be losing money if they discounted it 50% which is what I was asking for. I told him the tech was in my neighborhood and my appointment was later in the week so I could not see how they lost money as he was literally driving by my house and all he did was spend 1 minute, hit a button and was on his way. The manager refused to understand my position, and reluctantly offered me $20 off which after still charging me taxes on a service that never occured still cost me $72.71. I would not use this company at all. I was disappointed they would not work with me and see the ridiculousnessof charging me anything let alone be unwilling to discount it 50% which I felt was reasonable considering he did nothing but hit a button and my refrigerator was not broken. I have a house full of LG appliances and the idea of establishing a relationship with a good service company would have been nice, this is not the company and I highly recommend you do not call them!! Profit over customer service seems to be their tag line. There are other companies for sure that would have saw the big picture knowing they would have had not just my future business but my friends and colleagues as well.
They came in January and diagnosed a valve issue with our refrigerator (apparently it was common for this particular refrigerator). Unfortunately there was a backlog on the part due to the pandemic, and it took 5 months to get the part, but at soon as they got notification that it was on its way, they called to schedule the follow up to replace it along with part of the ice maker, and when they came it was done in 2 hours. Not holding it against them for their issues getting the part, that was on the manufacturer. I will use them again!
Andrew came out to visit us twice; one for an inspection to evaluate the problem and the other to install the custom pieces we had ordered. Our wolf over needed repair and he was the man for the job! He worked with our kitchen in the midst of renovation, found ways around problems with a great attitude and was very respectful! He was transparent with all the cost and what cost was necessary vs. desired. I would definitely recommend Andrew and Applianceman Service!
Great experience! During the initial call they asked about the specific problem we were having to make sure they would have the most likely needed repair parts. We got a call the day before to confirm the appointment and actually called the morning of to offer a visit BEFORE the scheduled window. Once at our house, our tech, Karl was super friendly and efficient. He diagnosed and demonstrated the problem in a few minutes and made the necessary repair in less than an hour. Would definitely use again and recommend.
Today I had Carl visit to install a water tank reservoir and evaporation tube in my GE fridge. Carl was professional, extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent service in explaining everything he was doing. After the repair was complete, the fridge kept throwing an error code indicating possible surge but Carl stuck with it and stayed until everything was working. I appreciate the level of care with this service and will be recommending and retaining Applianceman going forward. I couldnt be happier, thank you!
Had them out twice on Whirlpool refrigerator leak that was showing up on lower floor ceiling. We eliminated everything else. We informed them that it was probably the drain plug. They never removed the back of the unit to do a proper inspection. Had another service come out and it was fixed in 30 minutes. If they would have taken t he time to look at properly, I would have saved the repair cost on the ceiling.
I have used them 4 times through my home warranty. Outstanding service. I had another company in here to fix my fridge, they tried 4 times and it didnt work, so home warranty sent these guys out, and they knew what was wrong immediately. Everyone is very nice, helpful. The repair guys are professional, easy to get along with, and fix the problem so quickly.I cant say enough nice things - I will definitely use them again.
Called them about a repair and they informed me that they don’t deal with third party warranty. That I would have to make another appointment for them to come out and do said repair...after I already paid out pocket (and will have to wait on “reimbursement” from third party...if I were to go to with them. When I tried to explain that they just need to speak with home warranty about what needs done and that they get paid from them (we pay them our deductible), he arrogantly said, “well maybe you should find another company because we don’t deal with third parties.” Sheesh. Way to lose a customer Joe.
I have used them before and never had an issue before. Fridge went out Tuesday night. Called LG and they referred me to the company. Again used them before with no issue. Based on the error code, they knew what part was needed and didnt want to make additional service call. Pretty good start. Told me it would take two days ship. So figured I would get a call sometime Monday. Waited till late Monday and placed a call, told the part wasnt in and they would call me when it came in. Waited till late Tuesday made call told the part was processed. No follow up. Called Weds Morning to follow up was told the part was still being processed. What happened to the two days? Did not offer to check on shipping status to give me a time frame. I am now without a Fridge for a whole week with no estimated time. No empathy what so ever. Get mad and hang up. Call back to talk to the owner. Was told the owner doesnt take customer calls.?.?.? Now its starting to make sense. Again no offer to checking on the shipping. Told they cant control the Mfg. True, but they could check on shipping status. Cancelled the service. Readers can decide if that is acceptable or good customer service.
I am not happy with my service for my freezer. I was told the Kenmore Elite freezer could not be repaired because the coils could not be access by the technician. I questioned the technician as to why it could not be repaired and he said in layman’s terms the coils are built-in to the wall of the freezer. I felt that his response in layman’s terms was a bit rude. I guess snide comments are a part of The Applianceman customer service. Prior to him coming to this conclusion, I heard him call the office and ask if anyone knew anything about chest freezers. Hearing this does not make me think he knows what he is doing. He explained that the outer walls of the freezer was warm indicating the coils were bad. According to Sears repair site, its normal for the outer walls of the freezer to get warm or hot when the compressor is running; refrigerant lines inside the cabinet walls remove heat from the compressed refrigerant. The hot refrigerant helps control cabinet humidity to prevent the cabinet from sweating. The problem could have been other things such as defrost heater default, defective control and, display board, or defective main control board. I don’t believe he knew what he was doing or care about trying to fix the problem. He spent about 40 minutes diagnosing the problem. I spent $94.00 on ill-trained technician with attitude and no solution. I will definitely never call them for service again.
We had some problem with our LG refrigerator which was bought this year. The issue is new refrigerator started giving some rattling sound just after few months of purchase. We contacted Applianceman came to fix the issue. The first visit they took time figure out what the problem and concluded one sensor was bad. Second visit technician came and replace the sensor. The next day problem still persisted.I highly doubt the competency of Applianceman technicians as they might be replacing part which aren’t bad in first place. This need to be escalated and LG need to look into who they provide “Authorized Service provider” seal. When I called Applianceman to visit again as problem (rattling sound) still persist I was told “we cannot come visit you for free of cost”. So that suggest they already exhausted two paid visit from LG and now they expect me to pay”. When I declined to pay they told me rattling is normal. If this noise was normal why technician did replaced part in first place. I don’t know guys I don’t feel comfortable with company at all.
A Big Shout-Out to The Appliance, great company, they have been looking after my fridge freezer for years. A freezer failed recently, of course this was a Friday afternoon with the prospect of the contents thawing. A helpful call and they were there with a hard to get part. Prompt, efficient, courteous and a fair price. I could not ask for more. 5 Stars.
Used them last year to fix the problem with our SubZero refrigerator/freezer icing-up in the refrigerator. Six months and over $1,000 later, were dealing with the same problem. Called them today to try and schedule a repair on a Wolf range (tried last week but the entire company was in training for 3-days) and they couldnt send anyone out for 5-days (so much for 24/7 emergency service they advertise online). Called back today, after being quoted $83.75 just to come out but, when I spoke to a live person, it was now $93.75 plus mileage at nearly $1.00/mile. Was told that the other rate quoted in writing was for Franklin County. Funny because they could probably drive 45-50 minutes to locations in southern Columbus and still be in Franklin County - and thats twice as far as they would have to drive to get to our location in another county. Generally, poor, unhelpful attitude by the customer service guy on the other end of the phone - especially since we run a small inn and need to somewhat have some flexibility to work around our breakfast schedule. Nope.....it was theyd be here sometime between 8-noon, and they had no way to guarantee that our appointment might be able to be at the later end of that time slot. Got off the phone after complete frustration and contacted Sear Home Services immediately. Absolutely a pleasure and they were so flexible and understanding about scheduling a time to work around our business needs and guests. Coming from a business that is completely about customer service, I can say that the customer service that I received from this company was absolutely ABHORRENT!!
I requested specific service for an LG washing machine. Service was to increase volume (weight) of water added to each laundry load since low volume was insufficient to clean clothes. When service was scheduled, I was informed that Applianceman may not be able to meet the request and in that event LG would be contacted for consultation. I requested that LG be contacted before sending the technician. Why pay for service call when technician cannot make the modification. The technician was sent without prior LG contact. When he arrived he contacted LG, he then informed me that he could not do the service request. We were billed for a service visit. Nice scam of service fee. Applianceman scheduler then denied that he committed to contacting LG prior to sending service technician and insisted on payment. Do not use this company!
The technician came to Lancaster to service my Sub-Zero refrigerator. I had a build-up of frost in my freezer and the fan motor was noisy. He diagnosed the problem in the freezer and asked me to get a recording of the noise for his return visit. He ordered a part and made an appointment to return for the repair. Then he showed me how to access and clean my condenser coils which are on the top of the unit. He returned the following week and made the repair. He was polite, thorough and explained everything in detail and cleaned up. He listened to the noise and tested the motor and told me that it was normal. Both times they called at least a half an hour before arriving. It was a little bit pricey and I was charged extra for travel outside Franklin County but they are the closest authorized for Sub-Zero.
Repair technician walked in the door, approached looked across the kitchen at my dishwasher, said Its an installation issue. We dont do installations. I insisted the dishwasher had been installed months earlier and the problem only started recently. He said Let me check with my manager. He returned to his truck, and without another word he drove away. I called the office. They initially refused to speak to me. I insisted, and he finally came to the phone and repeated the same mantra. After a couple minutes, he simply hung up on me. They were given the job by the manufacturer, since it was still under warranty, so he couldnt care less about ticking me off. Avoid at all costs!
Poor quality customer service. When I asked Mike (later I found out that he was owner) question he just hang up on middle of conversation because it was minute after their working hours. They told me that I need change compressor, evac, air filter system, and motherboard. When I call to another company they change only compressor. I would highly recommend dont use these company or call somebody else for second estimate.
I would not recommend this company. I am nearly three weeks into a repiar that was supposed to be completed in 2-3 days and have spent hours waiting on their technicians. If you have plenty of time to sit around and wait for them to show up, or arent in a hurry to get your appliances repaired timely, their prices are reasonable. That is the only good thing I can say at this point.
Scheduled a service call for a broken washer on new years eve (called them as they opened). They scheduled me for a 12p-4p spot. No show, no call. Tried to call in - no answer.Sorry, but a no call/no show service appointment is unprofessional and speaks volumes about the company, its employees, and the way they do business. Apparently their $87.95 service call charge is not enough to motivate their techs to show up to a job.
I have used Applianceman Service for several years and have been very pleased with the service provided. The technicians are very professional. Doug is my favorite; he is respectful of my home, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable. Whenever my stove or fridge need servicing I know I can count on Applianceman to fix my problem.
I want to thank John for doing such a great job on my washing machine. He took his time to make sure the job was done correctly. He was even nice enough to take off his shoes before entering in my home. No technician has ever done that, and that means a lot to me. Thank you for being so respectful💜.
Im glad I was introduced to these guys. Please read to the end. They were able to quickly get me on the schedule to check out a noise my Faber exhaust fan was making. The day of the appointment I asked if they could also look at my dishwasher - not cleaning like it should. No problem they said - only $48 to give it a look. Much cheaper than any service call, even though they were already there for another call. Normally, Id like a smaller window than 1-5 but they called me around 2 and gave me an hour advance notice which was very helpful. Andrew arrived and quickly went to work. He was great - friendly, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. We couldnt replicate the noise the fan was making but he did show me how to easily fix another noise that was caused by the vent flap at the exterior of the house (not part of their Faber installation). THE BEST PART was he identified a clogged filter in the dishwasher and fixed it at no charge over the $48. He offered to replace the filter for another $150 but of course recommended we not do that. Ive experienced Other companies that wouldnt have handled it that way. THE OTHER BEST PART: there was an unknown black/gray schnauzer type dog roaming around in our yard while Andrew was there. We talked about it when he was leaving. About 5 minutes after Andrew left he came back to tell me the dog RJ had jumped into his truck when he was packing up! RJ had a tag so we called the phone number and realized he belongs to a neighbor way down the street. I showed Andrew where they lived and he drove off with RJ in the passenger seat (wish I had a pic of RJ in that big Appliance Man truck) and pulled into RJs house to return him home safely. Andrew the Over-Achiever - nice work!!
We had a dryer element replaced on June 17th. 11 weeks later the dryer is making a terrible noise and smells like something is burning. Applianceman only warranties their work for 60 days and now wants us to pay another service charge for them to come look at the dryer! I am very dissapointed.
Worst customer service experience ever. All they wanted was the $100 trip fee. Came out to my house looked at my fridge for 5 mins then left. I had to follow up with them 4 times just for them to tell me my fridge was no longer under warranty and it would be $1000 to fix. Whoever works the early morning shift was extremely rude and not personable at alll. I recommend spending your money at a different business. There are to many other businesses out there to choose from that would actually appreciate your business and not treat you like an inconvenience.Update. After posting my review I did get refunded my trip fee. Thanks
After several MONTHS of them ordering the incorrect parts, they finally called on a Saturday evening to say that werent going to fix it after all. I ended up having to go buy a new dishwasher & having my husband install it two days before Thanksgiving.Steer clear of this company. The only thing they will deliver is a poor customer experience & a condescending attitude.
Have used them in the past for my washer and burner. Steve the guy that came out was really good, did his job and gave us tips for future. the last problem we had was with our refrigerator, which is still having the same problem after the guy came out twice. i have decided to use them one more time for my Maytag microwave and see how it goes.
Took what seemed like forever to get them to come out, they changed me $100 to look at the problem for 20 minutes and then told me that they couldnt do anything to fix it because they didnt know what was wrong. Didnt seem knowledgeable at all. What a waste of time and money.
APPLIANCEMAN was very professional and did A great job fixing my cooktop. The only thing I didn’t understand is why I was charged for two technicians to do the job when one literally just stood next to other who fixed it the entire time. Then upon leaving I was informed I would be charged additional for the extra technician (who honestly didn’t do anything). That to me, wasn’t super professional esp since the job was already extremely $$.
We’ve had them out several times and have always had tremendous service. This is still the case, but the service fee went up significantly this most recent time we had them out. Would love to keep using them, but the service fee might be a dealbreaker when there’s more affordable options.

2022-07-13Even though they gave me bad news about neither of our two washing machines being worth the fix, they were upfront with me and instead of promoting their services to try and fix, gave me both the smartest and most cost saving option (to ultimately buy a new one). They also gave recommendations on new machines and explained likely reasoning behind why a new

2022-06-28The repairman was very professional and prompt. He explained the costs involved to repair our 9 year old range, so we chose to not repair it, but to purchase a new one instead. They dont sell appliances, but he suggested some more reliable brands to purchase. We were only charged the service call. The repairman has a wonderful, pleasing personality and he was very helpful. Many people in our neighborhood use this company!

2022-06-02I had asked the service operator NOT to send a repair person if they did not have the part needed. (F3 code, indicating a keyboard membrane replacement). I repeated that in a text. The repairmen arrived, without necessary part. Company want entire fee, did reduce it to $70.PLEASE train your office staff to listen! I would have respected an honest answer, rather than a con. In contacting BBB, no claims have been made recently in regard to your company. I was told to speak with the owner. No response to that. I did pay by credit card: after 40 minutes I called the office to see if the card had been processed. After that time, I received 3 (!) texts that the card had processed. Obviously, some organization lacking in more than one office area.NOT a pleasant experience!

2022-06-29The Service technician TK was awesome. He also had an apprentice with him on the call. Just by listening to the way he was speaking with the apprentice I could tell he not only knew his job verywell but was considerate of others. Fixed my range in a matter of minutes. I deal with numerous subcontractors and businesses and would definitely call Applianceman for any future repair needs.

2022-06-15Had tech come out for $92. He was great! Too high trip visit. To have water line and housing repaired $400+. Elected not too. New is $900 to $1300 depending. Very prof group and text pic of tech. Just very pricey. Again nice guy!

2022-04-08I needed a simple switch replaced. I was told the part was no longer produced and no longer available. I was given the advice that the entire unit needed to be replaced at $1,200.00 - a 3 minute search online showed the part readily available for $24.95 and I had it shipped to me in one day.Appliance man charges $137 for a service call.Buyer beware.

2022-06-18The Appliance Man representative greeted me kindly then started his work. He completed his work diligently then stated what the problem was. He was very responsive when I asked if everything was going well. I would definitely recommend his service to a friend or relative..

2022-05-07My refrigerator was showing a service warning light. I called to set up a repair appointment. They came the next day, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. The repair tech notified me prior to his arrival. I was very pleased with the service!

2022-08-17They were to replace a damaged seal in my washing machine. First, they brought a damaged part which they didn’t check until they arrived, and that delayed the repair by several business days. After actually installing the new seal, the spin cycle is extremely loud and the lower small washer will not turn on. I immediately called them and scheduled a return visit for three business days later, but the day before they call to tell me that the technician has covid and i have to wait three more business days.

2022-06-07We need to have them out every few years to fix our ice maker. They do a great job. The only negative is I feel that their service charge is extremely high for an estimate and it doesn’t go toward your service.
