We ordered a new sofa after taking home swatches of fabric to decide which color we wanted. Our salesperson was Sherry, who had been very helpful. She wasnt there when we went back to place the order but we wanted her to have the sale. Another gentleman helped us, assuring us that the sale was hers. We were happy that these people had enough integrity that they wouldnt take each others sales. (And she actually returned before the paperwork was completed) We would be happy to do business here again!
Helpful staff and reasonable prices. A plethora of basically almost everything you would need for a house. Furniture, appliances, TVa, takes, outdoor patio stuff, etc. Everything is laid out in such a way that you can see how it would likely look in reality. There is an Sara in the back door discounted and same items that is nice to browse for potential deals.
The people I dealt with at both stores were great. Showed us lots of options. I have yet to receive product but looking forward to it.
Our refrigerator died on a Thursday and we had a new baby at home and needed a new one immediately. These great folks not only had one that matched my current appliances in stock, but took pity on us and delivered the new fridge to Michigan same day so we wouldn’t go without. Can’t say enough about the kindness and courtesy shown by the people at this store. Definitely our go to from now on. Thank you all so much!
Nice selection of appliances on display with helpful sales staff available if you need them. Some furniture and matresses available as well. Appreciate that they asked if I had any questions and were available but not hovering.

We had went to 5 different places to look for refrigerators and just not satisfied with price for size of refrigerator we were looking for. This is the second time I went shopping for a big appliance sense my husband passed away. Appliance Center made the whole task quick and easy. Chuck V assisted me right away and was very knowledgable and informative. The girl who wrote up the order (I didnt get her name) was very professional. Delivery team was right on time after receiving text messages. The whole process was easy peasy, Im glad I went to Appliance Center.
Ordered a countertop, paid in full. The company damaged my countertop, so we had to find another one. I did find another one, been waiting almost a month now for a quote from Appliance Center. Im ready to go elsewhere. I call and send messages with no response. Im not sure what to do anymore. On a lighter note, I ordered a stove thru them, got it the next day.
Bought a new dining table and chairs on Wednesday. Today it was delivered. From start(in the store) to finish(delivery), i was Totally Impressed. They have the absolute BEST customer service. I just spoke to a very nice lady named Rita P. who is awesome! She answered my questions perfectly and was so nice. She has such a bright and sunny personality and was a joy to talk to which is so rare nowadays! I was also very pleased with an appliance we purchased recently and the install was great too. I definitely recommend this store.
Wasnt happy with the fridge selection. Mine went out and needed one ASAP. When I got it in the house we took it out of the box and it was damaged. When I called I was told since we picked it up that we probably did it.
They had a dishwasher I liked at a reasonable price. I would have bought it, but the salesman said they only had one delivery guy and he was backed up for weeks. Suggested I get my own guy to pickup new dishwasher, deliver and install it and remove the old one. That was a turn-off and I purchased elsewhere. To bad because they had the dishwasher with features I was looking for.
I bought a fridge at appliance center that wasnt in stock. When we asked about its whereabouts over two weeks later, I was hung up on by the customer service rep that answered the phone on Monroe St. The order was placed on March 3rd, still, on March 27th, no fridge. Yet each time I call in they expect it to come in that week.Listen, I am not unreasonable by any means, but when youre told your fridge would be delivered in a week, and now were on week four, how would you react? Especially when youre hung up on.Good price, BAD service.Dear Appliance Center, make sure you set expectations with your customers. Itll go a long way in repeat business and staying away from reviews like these.If its going to take a month, let the customer know its going to take a month.
My friend and I were there in the afternoon of Oct 23. We were there 45 mins. Not one person acknowledged us. I needed a stove plus a washer and dryer. Had them picked out. So very disappointed for being a local store. We couldnt even find someone to complain. Finally just we were almost to the front door to leave a Susie just said hi.Very poor customer service. Went over ABC Warehouse and got what I needed. Great customer service there
Great price on appliance suite, price matched and gave us a certificate towards future purchase. Did have an issue though where salesman failed to tell us an appliance we picked was not in stock. After waiting two weeks for delivery, the delivery guys had to tell us that. Then after calling the office and being told wed get a call back, we didnt. On two occasions.This wont keep me from going back, but will be more cautious ensuring my selection is in stock and not creating unnecessary hassle in future.
My wife and I had the best experience at the Appliance Center on Monroe Street. We learned a lot about the different makes and models of dishwashers and their features, thanks to Anthony. After purchasing the new dishwasher we arranged for delivery and installation. Our appointment was confirmed via phone call by BK. The installer, Brian, showed up, as scheduled to install the new dishwasher and take away the old. From start to finish, what a great experience!
I recently purchased a dishwasher from them and they said it would be ready for delivery on 10/18/19 or 10/21/19. I called for an update today and the representative said now the dishwasher would not be in until November 7! We would not have purchased from them had we known it would be this long of a wait in the first place.I was offered a $50 gift card as a remedy. You cant buy anything for $50 at this store so I dont understand why they thought that would fix things. Very disappointed and will not be back.
We were greeted by John N. He was very kind and gave us much information on the dish washers. We purchased our new dish washer from John, and would go back to him in the future. We also spoke with Susie about furniture, she was also very helpful. Highly recommend Appliance Center and John a N. And Susie.
I recently got a sofa from Appliance Center. For a business that sells things they make it hard to actually buy something. I walked around the store several times and was not even acknowledged. I had to wait in line at the counter just to tell someone I wanted to purchase a sofa. When the saleslady finally came out she made it feel like poked a beehive. It is $79 to deliver a sofa a few miles down the road. Last time I got an appliance from there the delivery was free. I can say after this whole experience and $79 to deliver I wouldnt recommend this place or go back again.

You have to look hard, a couple of the coffee tables were wobbly and I noticed one that was dinged up and chipped. Most of the larger pieces of furniture seem to be quite nice.
Anthony and Daryl are Top Notch!! Daryl is the (Very talented) designer and designed a GORGEOUS new kitchen for us and Anthony was a tremendous help in assisting us with choosing our appliances and price matching our appliances! Anthony is extremely knowledgeable and has excellent customer service skills. A really great experience from start to finish. A few small hiccups along the way but nothing to warrant a negative or less than 5 star review. Thank you Anthony and Daryl!!!
After a third failed visit I decided to place review. They advertise great deals but never have anything in stock. Sales staff isnt in sync with any of the sales and inventory available. On this particular trip the sales agent in mid shopping experience left and talked to 2 other customers trying to juggle the sales just to come back and try to upsell to items that were in stock. After settling in to buy item in the package at advertised price I was sat down to complete purchase after being told I could buy the product and take it. A few minutes in the sales agent returns and says I cant purchase it as it was the last one. They said they could order it and it might be a week. I politely said no thanks stood up and exited. Last time Ill ship this company. Its the 3rd ti.e this has happened. First a TV stand then a washer and now mattress.
This store is a hidden treasure. What started out as measuring similar sofas ended in me purchasing one in the store lol. I had my eye on another sofa online at JCP and wanted to find a replica to get an idea of how it would look and feel. I ended up running across a much cuter couch with chaise that had a better price and ETA. It was delivered Friday and I LOVE it. The delivery guys were such gentlemen and loving that new sofa smell. I WILL be returning to price kitchen barstools veeeeery soon! 😁
Appliance Center has most appliance brands and will match prices from other stores. Sales personnel are helpful and not aggressive. A pleasant shopping experience.

Visited the Monroe Street store looking for a grill that the online store said was in stock. Was informed that Monroe Street doesnt carry grills and we needed to go to Maumee. It would have been nice for the online store to indicate where the stock was at.
They have a fair selection of washer and dryers. He also have refrigerators sofas recliners art and a section where you can order carpeting. But it pays to shop around sometimes and not go to the first place you see to buy something. I do use my phone for picture taking to help me decide which store has the best deal.
Purchased may appliance here over the years. Brian W. and Frank K. were very professional with the delivery and installation of our refrigerator. Sales consultant Chuck Vrooman always patient, knowledgeable, extremely helpful.
The sales staff took care of us right away, and explained the refrigerator info clearly. Price was competitive and delivery arrange to get us the unit as fast as they could.
Less than impressed with this store on Monroe Street . We went into the showroom today to look at refrigerators and furniture. We walked through the door and almost through the whole kitchen area and we saw no employees. Then we walked to the back of the kitchen area and there were probably 4 to 5 employees in the back talking. Still no one said anything to us and one taller gentlemen walked pass us eating something like peanuts . We walked over to the furniture area to look and eventually 3 employees came out and were standing between the furniture and the appliances but they were to busy having a conversation to help us also! By the time we walked all through the store and not even one person said hi to us we decided that we were not willing to give our money over to a business like that!On a side note we did go into your scratch and dent building next door and all those sales people were wonderful! But the AC was not working and you couldnt hardly breath in there because it was so hot!
Love this store. The displays are phenomenal and they offer private professional service. They have everything from furniture to appliances. You can try different kitchen fixtures as there is a working faucet station. Check this place out.

Nice selecton.great help,, bought a Samsung stove very happy first 4 days but I ended up having several problems with Samsung Appliance ,store told me get a hold of Samsung nothing we can do. Of course. Stove makes a chirping noise every 2 to 3 minutes that you can hear from the other side of the house and a ceramic top is extremely hard to keep clean very easy scratch even with extreme care. $200 restocking fee if you plan on returning any Appliance be aware consumers if you think you can return the stove after couple days or any Appliance after a couple days you better have a couple few hundred bucks to give them to return the the appliance

I wouldn’t recommend there repair department to anyone. They have been out to my house 3 times and have charged me over $400.00 and I’m still having the same problems. The last time they came he didn’t do anything and they charged me a service fee $85.00.
Dont let the name fool you, they also have a great selection of furniture.
First sales person that approached me left me hanging after I asked for a price check but luckily a second one came along and not only provided the information I needed but also went above and beyond for other questions I had. Not sure that I would go back though.

Checked out a sectional couch at the there show room, ordered the couch i wanted and had it delivered, open it up and was the wrong couch, called and explained was told i had to pay to ship it back and was there mistake . so why then do i have to pay when it was there fault.

I needed a replacement dishwasher for my rental. Called Rachael at the Maumee Store and got exactly what I needed over the phone. She set up payment, delivery, installation and connected me with the scheduler. Brian W. showed up (on time) installed the unit, test run, explained the warranty/instructions and left. This guy should be complimented for his professionalism.

2022-06-24I purchased a refrigerator less than a year ago and the compressor has stopped working. I understand that I have to go through the manufacturer because of the warranty, but the appliance was faulty when sold to us and I believe they should stand behind what they sell and replace the fridge. It’s been almost two weeks with no fridge, tons of money lost on food being thrown away. I’ll NEVER shop here again, and honestly this was one of the first places I would shop when looking for household items.

2022-02-19I would recommend not purchasing furniture from Appliance Center. We ordered furniture on April 23, 2021 and are still waiting for part of order. Getting the run around big time and no return calls and a general lack of communication from Appliance Center. Very frustrating at the customer service post-sale. Shop elsewhere.

2022-01-17Charles did not listen to what we needed. I do know about 2 of his friends, how large their houses are and what they had in their home. He wanted us to purchase a stove, which was too big for our home. We need a counter top stove and he wanted us to purchase a free standing range. He even went so far as to tell us what to do with regard to the our remodel. We walked out in the middle of him talking about how he wanted our home to look. Then pathetically begged us to come back stating Ill do anything you want. How about this chuck, do a back flip while juggling three plates. If he can do that, we may just come back

2021-05-27My husband and I stopped at the Appliance Center because we were planning on replacing our appliances sometime in the future. This was basically a recon trip that ended with some wonderful purchases. The variety of choices was more than adequate yet not overwhelming. The prices were competitive and value based. The more we looked the more we liked.As we walked around the store we were approached by Mike who was not your usual salesperson. He was not at all pushy but made himself available if we had any questions. When we did ask those inevitable questions, he was forthright, honest and professional, traits we truly appreciated.All in all, our experience was very positive. We would highly recommend Appliance Center.Addition: It seems their ability to make things right does not end when you sign on the dotted line as we noticed a minor flaw in one of the appliances a few days after it was delivered. We contacted Mike and everything was taken care of with a mere phone call.What a pleasure to have worked with such a people friendly place!

2021-10-09We purchased a commercial brand speed queen washer for our office May 2019. We also purchased a warranty for this washer for commercial purpose. The washer has issues and is out of service. Contacted Appliance Center and have been given a run-around to get the washer repaired. Contacted the warranty place (numerous times) to verify warranty and they state they have no information regarding the washer. Beware of spending additional dollars for an extended warranty through Appliance Center. Its fraud.

2021-04-29Appliance Center ,Friendly staff , excellent quality , and easy process.Mary Ann was very friendly, accommodating and answers all the questions to the point .Got a very nice and elegant leather recliner and had it deliver in a very fast manner. The timing was essential but with covid every furniture place I went to seemed to have delays , however the Appliance center was right on it .Joan at the billing department was fast and scheduled the delivery time according to my time.Delivery people are friendly and are cautious about your home and very careful . They made the process as simple and easy as it can be.Definitely recommend this place .
