I love the food I dont go much cause Im a breakfast person and I eat breakfast almost every meal but the chicken is good and the steak if You dont like air wear a coat not a jacket even in the summer its very cold to me overall nice place to eat
My date night was ruined because of this place. It was so cold where they sat me that I could not even relax and enjoy my meal. The table they sat me by was so loud that I couldnt even hear my man when he would speak to me. The food was okay but the service was slow. I will not go back.

It took about an hour to get our food after ordering. My food was nice and hot and fresh but my husbands wings and he ordered was ice cold.
Waiter was very nice. The quesidea was awful, it tasted like some kind of oil. Very over powering, yuck. My caeser salad had alot of stems & literally 4 croutons. My husband said his burger wasnt that great & he had very little fries. What happened to your business 👎

Our family just moved to Middletown so we went to Applebees to celebrate the move and to just have a nice family dinner. The food was perfect and the staff was extremely nice. I would have given five stars but my alcoholic beverage that I ordered was one of the worst Ive ever had. I didnt return it I simply ordered a water and didnt drink it. It was pure syrup. I hope the next time I come to this location that they redeem their service and I get a quality drink for the money I spend on it.
Staff was very nice, surprised they put up with my friends and let some of us stay after closing and being dumb.

Place was fully packed with outgoers. A good sing of good food, customer services. I gave 4 stars simply because social distance wasnt implemented last night. Whether or not this is a concern, I dont know. But overall, this is a place I recommend.

Applebees is a passable chain for 16 year olds date spot and a place to catch a game. Food is average at best, but your better off hitting a good pizza for the price point.

Appetizers were good. Waiter felt he had no need to write our orders down and of course he brought the wrong meal. By the time the second order came we had canceled it because the 3 others in our group were finished with their meals. Very disappointed. The waiter was also the bartender.

Our waitress, Sammy was very sweet! She smiled easily and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We really enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent! We got the 2 for $20 meals. Mozarrella Sticks, Spinach & Artichoke (grilled) Chicken Cavatappi, and Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. Mmm.
While my food was acceptable the other 3 in my party all were very disappointed in the food flavor - pretty but tasteless. For the prices - should have been flavorful! Service good - not likely to return.
Went there last night with the family. Had a short wait (in our cars). Once seated server was friendly and attentive. Received food quickly. All still hot. No complaints about the food or service. Great atmosphere. Will definitely return.

This Applebees restored my good faith in the franchise! I will be back on a regular bassis, even if the incredible Tiffany wasnt there to serve me at the bar. Since she is there I will be in there like a smittent school boy every week.
Visited Sat. 11/20/21 w/my family. Was told there was a 35 min. wait. Ok, cool. Nope over an HR wait. When I wen in to find out what was going on they had so many open tables. They suck. They didnt want to seat one of the only few black families that was there.
Busy Friday night but service was great. Orders were correct and delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. Made sure we had we needed.

Havent been to Applebees in years. Forgot what I was missing. I ordered the southwest chicken bowl. For about $9 you got a LOT of food and it was delicious. Service was great as well!
Food was good. the service was ok. our waiter was more interested in sitting and visiting with his friends at another table than checking in with us. We had to hunt him down to get the check because the computer thing at the table wasnt working. But, as this was our first restaurant experience after the emergence from Covid...no big deal.
Ok my best friend Victoria and I go and eat at Applebees because if you have never had their french onion soup its the best soup ever. I mean that. Its soooo gooood!!! Then we both ordered a sandwich with the garlic mash potatoes. Victoria got the prime rib dip sandwich and I tried for the very first time the Ham Turkey Bacon club. And I gave her half of my sandwich and she gave me half of hers. Well the prime rib sandwich is always our go to so its always delicious. But let me tell you all something if you want and awesome sandwich filled with Ham Turkey Bacon and cheese order the club!!!! I just absolutely loved it. Even the half you needed to hands to hold it. And they put bbq and mayo on it and grilled it. OMG just delicious 😋. We could stop eating it. Best sandwich ever!!! And our waiter was very attentive and got us everything we asked for and super friendly. I give him a 10 for his waiting skills. So we will be back very soon. And I hope you all liked my review!! Get that sandwich 🥪
Had gift cards so picked this one. Had something in my partners ice and a hair ended up on my fries I hope it was just a bad day but still was gross

Went here for fathers day to feed my kids father. told the waitress i was allergic to shrimp so I order double chicken , my old man order shrimp we ate got in the car face started to break out and arms as well. Like I told her so that she could tell the cook. My old man had to get to a gas station to get Benadryl so we could get back to Dayton. I thought once I told her she was gonna make sure it was taken care of it the mash potatoes was good and chicken with the green sauce and mushrooms was good just watch for peoples allergies.
Our order was out shortly after we got there! It was a large order and it was all correct, including no sauce on the ribs!! All of the food was very good!!

The wait wasnt bad, over all good experience, gave 4 stars because I ordered riblets and was served a half rack of ribs. But they were really good and tender, the best Ive had in awhile.
We eat here often and i decided to take my elderly mother out for lunch. We arrived and they sat the people ahead of us. I was told that the server was busy and needed to catch up so we had to wait which was not an issue. We were then told that we needed to go stand outside. Seeing that tables were empty i asked if we could just sit at a table instead of going outside because my mother was elderly and it was cold out and the response i received was sorry my managers dont care and then what seemed at be a senior hostess walked up and i told her we would just go somewhere else and she replied the wait at cracker barrell is 45 minutes and i said thats fine we will just go somewhere else and i told her to have a good day and she replied not you. The service at the front door was horrible. I understand with covid and restrictions however the staff was not polite and had an attitude. Will not be coming back due to lack of service. Just a bad experience at a place i frequent due to young untrained staff.
Had a 2 for 25 deal. Spinach and Artichoke dip was good but the chips had a strange aftertaste like they were cooked too long or stale. Steak was cooked to order everything was generally good. Server was attentive and friendly. Good staff, clean store, food mostly as expected.
After being told it would be 15 minutes to be seated we sat in our car for 45 minutes before I went to check our status. It was at this time we were told we were next but if they sat us we couldnt order any food, just drinks. The reason was that the kitchen had to catch up on curbside orders. I asked how long before we could order food and was told that they didnt know. As I said before, we had already been waiting 45 minutes so we had no idea when we would actually eat any food. What I was being told was that someone ordering online was more important than a customer in their establishment. I will still eat at Applebees, just not this location.

Tim was great to us and our special needs. We left another location for lack of service and went here. The menu was nice bright and big enough for people to read.The food did have some issues we had 2 separate orders of wings ordered the same way one had so much sauce I thought it was soup and the other hardly had any. The chips with the spinach dip had no salt in them.Their drinks were great!!!!

The food was good but not great. I had chicken tenders and fries; the tenders were more breading than meat and the fries were oversalted. Long Island ice tea was very good as too shelf should be. Wait staff was friendly and efficient and made sure our party was well served. The music being broadcast in such a small space was much too loud and made table conversation difficult. I wish I could give a 3 1/2 stars but not an option.
We had an issue with our order and the manager Mike was very polite and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I will definitely be coming back to this location!
Riblets were in-edible, I have had them many times before and they had no comparison to the others, taste and texture were not at all comparable. I dont know if its at all of your locations or just this one. But I am not going to try them again. At Middletown Ohio location.
The food was okay but the service stunk..we were not asked for refills nor did our waitress come back to our table. She was too busy talking at the hostess stand with the other employees..worst service at an applebees. I would not recommend it..
I normally like Applebees, however my experience in OH the waiter was NOT attentive at all. Others came to fill up our drinks and get condiments. Prices have definitely went 👍, way up. Just my husband n I came to $70. Noticed everything is a few bucks more. I guess we are all paying for covid.

We are so impressed with our carry out service. The food was very fresh & hot. We got more french fries to go than if you want were sitting in restaurant. The employees are very friendly & great attitude with what is going on. We will continue to pray for all of the businesss & employees that are suffering & still hanging in there with a smile,! I met with 2 girlfriends I hadnt seen in a very long time for lunch. Our waiter was so-so, it would have been nice if he hadnt rushed us along though. I had a quesadilla burger with fries and a salad. It was so good but I couldnt finish it all. Brought it home to have for lunch tomorrow but my husband found it and is eating it as I type this review! 😡Lol

I use to frequent this location a lot but over the past few visits they habitually mess up a simple order. A chicken fajita roll up only chicken bacon and cheese. Ill get a normal roll up, only cheese, no bacon, and this time no chicken. I can verify its not the person taking my order its the cooks who apparently cant read or follow simple directions.
I cant say enough about this place. Wonderful experience! Excellent service! Today that is a great plus. We never had to track down our server. Great job! Food was delicious! They just started a new menu and all staff were on board, well trained. Every question asked was answered by our serverNever saying those dreaded words. .Ill have to ask. . Usually with that the server leaves the table and you believe they are never coming back. The only thing they need to improve on is the entrance and exit to the place. Poorly designed. But that wont stop us from going back! Love this place!
We eat here all the time. I love the food and the service. My only complaint would be the music is way to loud. I have a hard time hearing in there.

When you choose 3 stars here on Google reviews, it labels your review of the location as Its okay. For better or worse, this effectively sums up the experience at this Applebees. The food isnt bad, but nothing particularly special. The service isnt terrible, but its very inconsistent. The prices arent ridiculous, but not super affordable either. So this place really is okay. Nothing to particularly complain about, but not much incentive to frequent it either. Still, not a bad option to meet up for dinner.
Had their $1.00 January drink special, it was amazing. Then moved on to the $12.99 all you can eat, it was delicious, the server was super polite and stayed on top of everything making sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be going back.

I only give Two and a half stars because the service was decent. The food. Mediocre at best. I suggest unless youre really just wanting a dine in experience spend the same amount on the cuts of meat and sides in a high end grocery store and make your own food. No one loves you and your family like you love you and your family. The best food is cooked by people that love you.

Upon arriving, we were told that our party of 5 would have about a 20-25 minute wait, but to our surprise, we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The servings were large, but a steak we ordered was overcooked. Server was attentive to our needs. The electronic kiosks on the table to pay werent working correctly to pay.
My partner and I really enjoy our date nights here. We like to come in and take advantage of the weekday 3-6 happy hour and we usually like to get 2 French onion soups, brew pub pretzel sticks and some wings. The servers here are always polite in our experiences, the soup always tastes like it was just made, the food is very good, the areas always look clean from what we have noticed. Great place to be! Also on weekdays appetizers half priced are after 9pm by the way.

I cant wait until everything gets back to normal. This was my late dinner place. Last night I had the grilled shrimp Ceasars salad. It was great.
It took this team 3 tries to cook my mans Bourbon Street steak medium rare. My meal had to be remade as well. We still tipped our server 34%, but before we left, I got chewing gum all over my pants from underneath the table. Pretty terrible experience. The manager is trying. Thats all I got.
Never tip here anymore since the server decided to up her own tip and then the restraunt did nothing so my bank refunded the whole transaction thanks
We put in our name , and they did not give us a time frame so I had to go back in and ask, and they said 45 mins and it eneded being over an hour so I was okay bc people eat a different pace, but took 20 mins just to get drinks and then everyone, but one person at our table got their food 20 mins later had to ask about their food and no one knew where it was then we got the manger and it had been sitting in the window now cold. Waiter never brought refills, or anything after asking if we needed anything the food was not up to lar, and steaks at our table werent really cooked and the place was packed. I now know why applebees is going out of business.
This used to be my favorite place. I have ordered the same thing for the past 10 years. This time the 8 oz. Steak was over cooked and pretty small( might have been the 6 oz.) asked for it med. Rare, came out with charred ends and brown in the middle. The waitress didnt seem to care that we were there. Watched her get our table drinks then proceed to bring out the wrong ones. After that it seemed she needed to get a 10 min shoulder rub from a coworker. Was an interesting experience. Looking for a new fav. Place.
My son and I went to enjoy a meal at Applebees. It was a terrible experience. We were seated in an area that had no air conditioning. We asked to be moved. After waiting for about 10 minutes we were moved to another area. We waited another 10 minutes or more and no body came to take our order. We were placed were there were screaming children. We will never go there again.

The food was incredible!!! The drinks were so delicious and just want i needed (I had been craving a mudslide for over a week) and the service was pretty good. Our food came out quicker than I thought it would. We had a really good time.
Pretty good place and great service for being my first time. Got a 2 for 25 ribs and some shrimp dish. Absolutely love the ribs, but the other dish wasnt as good. I would give this place a 4.5 but they dont have that option. So I gave it 5 stars.
Always wanted to eat here finally got the chance after a couple of hours of training tried the whiskey bacon burger with onion rings and that dish didnt disappoint its was super good hope to be back soon

Ordered all you can eat special. Waitress took so long to check on us that rest of family were done and did not want to wait on more food. Waitress then had the nerve to ask if I wanted $15 change. When i said yes she then took another 10 min. to bring that. Pretty sad visit and it was on a weekday with a small crowd.
Tim is one of the best servers I’ve EVER had here. Such a nice bubbly personality, and very friendly and not in the fake way. He needs to be training the new servers. One of the most EXCELLENT nights we’ve had. Also, he was busy and he still made sure to check up. Awesome.
Went for lunch today. Not very busy and only person at the bar. Waitress never checked on me once I received my food. I had to ask if I wanted something. Tacos are not good at all!! Tasted like mush. The menu says brisket and it is more like pulled pork out of a can. Also tasted awful. Will never eat here again.
Went for my Boyfriends birthday, we got the 2 for $27. Ribs, ff, and mac n cheese for him. And the ribs wasnt that great. Hard to get off the bones. Last Applebee trip was in Troy, theres fell off the bones and tender.I had the sirloin, and here again this meal did NOT make the same impression as the last at the Troy store. Mashed potatoes we dried out with hard places because of being microwaved or something. Steak on the dry side too. FF... No idea how they were, but my furbabies loved them.

Was excited about the new pasta selections. I was served a plate of meat sauce covered or rubber rectangles. Horrible. The manager seemed quite embarrassed. The breadsticks were decent. The guy with me had the bourbon steak thats served on a sizzling platter. They overdid it with the thyme. It was incredibly pungent. I do not frequent Applebees and this was a horrible experience and reason to stay away.
A lot better than the one in West Hamilton. Everytime I go to the one in West Hamilton always out of the am good I want to order and the mixed drinks I want.
Service was good but food was not that great. :(Chicken and shrimp bourbon chicken did not have much flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes are yummy though.
Havent been to an Applebees in years due to bad experiences. Went because someone want to. It was excellent, Service, proper seasoning, timing, temperature, and the server was obviously cut but didnt rush us as was pointed put to me. I was distracted and busy. That says a lot. Keep it up.
Waitress was wonderful.... the food however wasnt! Brought me out grilled chicken that was closer to beef jerky. Burnt so bad it was curled up! They redid my food and messed it up for a wnd time. So at that point I didnt even want to eat anymore. The whole family was already finished! Appetizers were great tho!
Everyone is always sweet. Restaurant is always loud, but that is expected. Food is always very good and hot.I like that they have the little tablets that you can pay your bill on. Its very convenient. Every restaurant should have those!Im from Kentucky and their Applebees are terrible. I love Middletowns!! Keep up the great work.
I usually frequent here with my twin brother- We eat here at this location multiple times a month and spend about $25/ea (per person) a visit. The food is hot, portions are worth the pricing, and service is fast. Although it seems as if I always have a new waiter/waitress everytime Im there, its always a bright smiling face happy to serve the table. I usually order steak (which Im not picky about- Ill eat it anywhere from well done to rare, so I just tell them medium), and garlic mashed potatoes. This entree combo is so tasty and a good portion as well. My brothers the beer drinker out of the two of us- and he says the [draft] beer (bud light) is always cold and delicious; I can testify that it is.Dishes are always clean- and enviorment is friendly and family oriented. The soft sound of people talking almost blocks out the music (if they have any), creating a nice place to just relax with you friends, co workers, a first date, or even by yourself! Anyone giving this place LESS than a 3 star review is either over exagerating, or did happen to get bad service the ONE time they visited. Although the food isnt always perfect, it looks delicious and tastes delicious...hoot food is hot, salads are crispy and fresh, chicken is always tender and cooked...so, whats the problem? Service of the staff is always awesome. PLEASE give this location another try if you only been here once (or not at all). The restaurant itself is clean and parking lot is spacious.
Great place to eat alone, or with family. We typically go here for dinner. They have a good selection, especially for my picky children. They have a good selection for appetizers as well, and good deals. They do have a bar/serve alcohol, so I dont recommend going during big sporting events if you dont like the noise. The only thing I dont like about it here, is the curbside to go. I understand that when you order to pick up it may not be served right off the grill, but every time we have ordered to pick up, it has hardly been warm, and tastes like it has been sitting out for a while. Staff is usually very friendly and attentive.
It is Applebees. They offer weekend happy hour but it starts at 10 and they close at 11 not much of a weekend happy.hour to enjoy.
I’m giving one star because you have to. The worst service I have ever had in my dining out experience. We were seated and waited 20 minutes before anyone came remotely close to acknowledging us. Three waitresses walked by without bothering to take our order. It wasn’t till we got up and the hostesses says,” how was dinner”. Lol it never took place. By far the worst service and staff ever. We will absolutely never ever go to this chain again!

My wife, uncle and a young lady went to lunch today. My uncle and wife were both served drinks that literally had no alcohol in them and had to request the manager to try them and have them remade. When he brought them back they were satisfactory but then later my burger arrived and the bun was burnt to a crisp that was also sent back and remade. Also the young lady that came with us didnt receive her meal and had to call the waiter back to ask for it. He comes back with her plate about 20-30 minutes after everyones food first arrived, he apologized and stated that he forgot the food back there. So after her food sat there that long it was dry and stale yet he still brought it to us.It was then after our 3rd complaint that my wife went to the front to speak to the manager a 2nd time to let him know what kind of service we are getting at our table around 1:45 pm in the restaurant that was not busy (maybe 3 or 4 other tables had customers) . My wife then comes back to the table then calls our waiter back to the table to ask the names of the two managers she just spoke to. Tyler (our waiter) replies Steven and Effrin.(?) My wife asks Steven and who?(because the second name was not said very clearly and I dont even know if Effrin is what he said). He then replies The mexican guy.
Took a long time to get seated. The greater was to busy cleaning tables while other workers stood at the bar talking. Then waited until we got the appetizers to take our order.
My boys got the two for $22 cheeseburgers. They were so big they could barely finish. I ordered the sample appetizer. I loved the spinach dip.

Only issue I really had with this establishment was the fact that every door was locked being a door Dasher my pick up instructions they do not enter the building call in the order will be brought out but once I called they said they come in I had to call back in order to figure out which door to go into wow multiple people were in there enjoying lunch dinner so forth and so on at said time because all the doors were locked somebody literally had to come let me in would have been for star rating had I not had to call three different times to get into the building once I got there and called the very first time

Going down hill fast, not the best tasting food at all. Onion rings or anything fried were cooked in old oil, the potato soup was horrible, tasted like a stick of butter. The fettuccini sauce was so thin there was a puddle at the bottom of my noodles, we were not happy. We will definitely not be going back to this location again.

Overall very good. Noisy. We had to move tables since one of the waiters was carrying on a personal conversation with a group of diners. He was so loud we couldnt hear each other or our waitress.
The waitress was super friendly, the food came quickly, and everything tasted good. I had a shrimp bowl and we got pretzels as a shared appetizer.

Hello Manager and Chef. We ordered two steak salads for your Curb-Side-To-Go. The order was promptly delivered as specified. However, it went down hill from there. When we returned to our hotel nearby, we discovered we did not have napkins or utensils. Again, these were salads. Also, the steak was so chewy it wasnt worth the money we paid for the very small serving of steak. We have always been happy with Applebees. So, this experience was very disappointing.
I work in a restaurant so I am very nice when it comes to food taking a long time . I order a to go order of nachos and fries at 7:30 and the lady said no problem be ready is 20 minutes. I finally got my food at 8:33 . My fries were cold and hard . Very disappointed
I like the waitress was nice and kept up on me making sure I was enjoying the meal and always had something to drink. Tried the bourbon burger and just was not that good but the frys were great and the meal was hot just did not enjoy the burger just did not like the flavor it was cooked how I wanted it just did not enjoy the flavors but I will be back soon.

For some reason I always find something extra in my food when I visit any Applebee’s. It’s usually plastic, yes plastic. Maybe the kitchen staff can work on this to make sure no plastic is getting into food OR it’s coming from the factory that Applebee’s orders from. I’m not sure but this stuff can’t be made up. Next time I will definitely take pictures.
Had the Bourbon Street chicken & shrimp and it was delicious!
Service was terrible with Megan J. Food was sub par. Ordered cheese burger it was burned outside medium inside. Jerrell and Tim are excellent servers and always seem to get the least tables, Why?
Chicken was very tender and juicy, cheese was perfect. It salsa was a bite spicy for my delicate palate but I my spicy sister loved it. The waiter was professional and friendly.
On arrival we were seated and waitressWas there to assist and take order. Food came quickly and prepared perfectly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I love love love Applebees! But sadly Im giving a 3-star because whether there about to close, or their eating on the clock, theres a small select few that will appear a little irritated you came in. Not really say anything, but you can always tell they would just rather not be there. 7 out of 10 times my food is hot and tastes great! But the other 3 is maybe once or twice a month it seems like now my order is being made wrong. I get the food industry, so I always try and be patient never knowing if it was me or them, or whatever but the past 2 times I got take-out everything was made perfect, until I got a brownie bite. The best way to be able to describe how they brought it out was the equivalent to burning something in the microwave, that burnt smell like they heated it up and left it in way to long which is disappointing it wasnt fresher then I had hoped, and the complete outer part of the brownie itself was literally as hard as a rock, NO JOKE. But I will give it to them that everytime a problem has arrived, they have tried to handle it with being friendly and understanding, so that is what keeps me coming back and loving the food and options. Its not every visit, but Ive learned to not come in later in the night like 10pm on, because more then once after that time you could hear the people in the back in the kitchen either arguing, or how the bartender who just got a to go order needs to quit accepting more customers cause theyre just dying to go out to smoke a cigarette, their words not mine. Even with all the TVs you can still hear at least 1 of them, but I combat that with trying to come in sooner then 10pm when I do go.
Bass was jumpin but i felt my soul chipping away every second. My sisters burger was too greasy as well.
Good food and service, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Their French Dip is amazing! Highly recommend it.
Besides the thawed fry in my marinara sauce the service and patience was awesome.
Its Applebees - but its what you go to Applebees for anyway. From that standpoint, good service and friendly people.
I cant give it a one star only because my familys food was correct. I ordered a steak medium rare it came out medium well sent it back and got another medium well steak. If your going to go here dont expect a good steak.
Atmosphere excellent plus great food
Really good place to eat. Somehow my 4 yr old loves it even though he always eat Macaroni and cheese. I love their wonton tacos appetizer. There are several really good options to eat. And in dessert Butter Pecan Blondie is my go to choice. 2 for 20 or 25 is a really good menu option as well where you get two dishes and appetizer.
Worst service and food I have ever seen at an Applebees. Wait staff/management mostly stayed huddled aroud part of the bar chatting, took forever to get refills on drinks. Ordered french onion soup and it came out super greasy on top (like a solid layer of pure grease). After complaining about they brought out another one and it was exactly the same way. All other food was lackluster at best. Never will go there again.
So the bogo wing special doesnt work for online ordering, i called and notified the manager that it would not work. They would not honor the special because that is an I.T. issue not the stores problem, even though its your company who is marketing the special. We also ordered a grilled chicken ceasar salad and it did not have any chicken on it, which they did not have problem making new salads, but the additional wings for the bogo special we ordered were not able to be made go figure. Going to chiles with the boys next time
We love applebees. They have a great selection of appetizers and their wings are hard to beat. Theyre entrees are also very good. Its a great place for families or to get together with friends

Beware the little touchscreen table game thing! My kids got a hold of it for a second and ended up charging us $1.99. We got it removed from the bill, but dang, that was fast.What can I say, the service was about average, the food was prepared quickly and to our liking (yet average as well). I really enjoyed the bone in crunch wings (or whatever they are called).The parking lot is ridiculous. You have to enter in through a loop, go around a maze, cut through a cracker barrel, and find a spot in a smallish parking lot. I did not degrade them in the rating for this, just put it here so you know if you plan on visiting that going through the confusing vortex is part of the experience.
Doing the best they can with the current situation. We will fight back with them as long as this doesnt just become an excuse to slack off good service.

We came in there on a. Saturday at 5pm and we stood at the hostess counter waiting to be seated for over 5 minutes until we got the attention of the bartender. There was a guy sitting at a table with another worker right in front of us the whole time and as soon as I got the bartenders attention, he came up and seated us. We were sitting there for 5 minutes and the waitress never came so we left. Worst Applebees Ive been at.
Food was ok but not great. The riblets were tough. The seasoned grilled chicken lacked taste. Requested a salad for an app, it never appeared. Staff were very friendly, although more busy gabbing than working.
Loved the shark drink and love the food.
Ordered a 6oz sirloin that was too rubbery to eat. Had a drink (Damned if you Dew), it was a $3 special- it wasnt good. Spinach Artichoke dip was good. Chicken tenders were good.
Normally one of our favorite places to eat, NOT today! Food was not up to normal standards for this Applebees, cold burnt. Bourbon chicken and shrimp and wifes steak ordered medium cold and crispy! Music was the worst, mostly older people in eating, no one drunk enough to enjoy, hip hop and bad rap.
Bar tender wouldnt even acknowledge that I was there, serving people that just walked in. Then went back to chatting with her coworkers so I left.
They had a special for Tuesdays $13 .99 , all u could eat boneless wings and frys. The frys were not fresh . I made it clear and they made it right.They werent busy enough to not keep there tables clean, they were to busy on there phones or walking around in circles.
I havent been to an Applebees this good in years! We hit it during half price apps and $3 specialty drinks as well! Steak was cooked perfect waitress was attentive with a great attitude!
I cant believe you dont even get a side salad as one of your side items un lb ess you pay $1.99 upcharge for it. I asked for medium sirloin steak, which I get quite frequently at other restaurants, so I know how it should be cooked. It was the worse steak Ive ever eaten.

Called and ordered food. The food was missing something, that they were out of. I called my order in, they didnt tell me that on the phone, or when I picked it up, got it home, and surprise! Called them about it, and theyre supposed to replace the product on my next visit.
Walked in with my kids and all the servers were standing around chatting. I had to sit there and wait until they were done talking before a lady came over with a rude demeanor and said so, um, yeah Ill be right with you then walked away & went back to chatting with the others. I got my kids and walked out. Did I mention that its my birthday and I had been looking forward to that all day at work. I will never dine there again 😕

They have added so many delicious entrees. I steered clear for a long time but my first time back I was having real difficulty deciding on what I wanted to eat. Service was good and food came promptly.
The all America Burger was disgusting. It took 35 minutes to get a hamburger so smothered in cheese that I had to scrape off at least 2 oz. !! The only reason I gave this trip a 3, was Steve, our waiter was very nice and attentive.
Food was good and service was great, but I absolutely hate it when they make me use a tabletop kiosk to check out. If I wanted to interact with a machine, I would have stayed at home and ordered with Uber Eats.
Honestly I would give no stars, we were there last night and it was not the best at all, don’t get me wrong the service was good. It took awhile to get our food, when we finally got it my boyfriends food was burnt and then I pulled a piece of sharp plastic out of my mouth that did cut my mouth, she took it all back and brought us new plates and then only took off half of the bill.? I’m just disappointed 😞
We had a great experience there today. Jessica pur server was so bubbly and on top of our every need. The food was delicious. Unfortunately we have been to a couple other Applebees where the service and food wasnt so good. We were a little sceptical going in at first but the staff there turned us into fanatics. We will only be going to this location from no on. I highly recommend going there.
Used car side...food was AMAZING! Just as good as eating in the restaurant. I only deducted the star because I showed up 10 min after the time they said it would be ready and I still sat there for almost 15 min before anyone brought my order out.

It was been a while since I have eaten there. To my surprise everything was better than before. From the appetizer to our main meal it was great.
Your everyday Applebees. Food was well prepared for the most part, but my shrimp seemed a bit odd. Doesnt ruin the experience though, and if you like that type of food, itll be your cup of tea.
The appetizer were wonderful. My Oriental chicken salad( this is one of my all time favorites) was not to good. The chicken was hard, as if had been sitting under a warmer for ever.
Place was packed so we sat at the bar. This guy to send it has a 45 minute wait but unfortunately the bar tender were so overworked it took a long time to get drinks refilled and to get our food. Still the food was good.
I have ordered carry out and Door Dash from this location and it is normally fine, however, on Saturday June 29th; I ordered from this location thru Door Dash. The Dash was timely,(arrived within the window that was given). The order was not accurate. This is inconvenient, but I understand that it happens. The problem is the way it was handled. I called Applebee’s and the manager told me I had to contact Door Dash! This was NOT Door Dash’s issue. The food was prepared incorrectly! The dasher only took the food she was given. It is not her responsibility to check the order for accuracy. That should have been done by the Applebee’s staff before it even left the kitchen! Thankfully, once I contacted Door Dash; they stepped up and gave me a credit to replace my order. This is great, however, it was not their mistake and not their responsibility. This was Applebee’s failure, but since they were too sorry to step up and take responsibility for the mistake; I’m glad Door Dash is a reputable business that reacted in a respectful and timely manner. After reading the other reviews; it seems like this is the typical service of Middletown, Ohio Applebee’s.
On Valentine’s Day... my husband was ill , so I called to make a Pick Up order ...Riblet plates for for 2 . The riblets were badly charred and dry. It was inedible. I would have taken it back ,...but it was so busy...and the phone noise level in background was so loud ....(. .....( assumed was from kitchen area ...).... that the one taking the order couldn’t hear me nor I her. I understand it was Valentines and expected it to busy... but there was No reason for the one who packed up the dinners... Not to see how badly the ribs were Char burned. I will never order online or visit this Middletown Applebee’s again. But to be fair...The sides were good.
A sign says all you can eat shrimp. Well no. The waitress said they dont have that. Just started it less than a month ago and she said no. Went there for all you can eat shrimpvery disappointed. Had to ask for refills on drinks
Good place for a decent meal with family. A little over priced for informal dining and amount of food and/or quality. Depends on the day, somedays food is better than others. Staff is super friendly and for that Ill give them 4 stars.

I got the smothered steak fajitas on a carryout order. They forgot the flour tortillas , queso, guacamole and sour cream so I had to drive across town to get it. They said they remade the order. I get home to find out that they only gave me the regular steak fajitas!! Strike two. The fajitas were mediocre at best.

2022-02-27Good place eat. Had 1/2 rack ribs and mashed potatoes. It was get for 29.99 if you buy two from the list (only 4 options) . You only got one side so I got mashed potatoes. Though they did taste good you could tell they were the fake potatoes. Service was a like slow, but nice. I will not be going back to any Applebees any time soon. I didnt take any photos. Sorry

2022-03-26Sat at the bar with my son. 2 different bartenders took care of us , I think it was shift change. Either way both was very friendly! Food was perfect! First time I have ever been there and didnt get desert. Wish I did. Had such a good meal and good time I kinda forgot. 😊👍👍

2022-04-04Horrible service left before we even got seated. We have trouble with this location every time we go in some form. We keep trying hoping they will get it together. Hostess was illprepared for crowd on a Friday night. Waited over an hour without updates we were told 15 min upon arrival. Horrible location, disorganized, understaffed and those present have no clue how to handle location traffic or needs of the patrons. Need management desperately. Food often late, wrong and staff arent trained properly.
