I have had good service here in the past, but this experience was extremely frustrating. I made an appointment and was yelled at when I arrived because I stood in the line that said appointment. Apparently it was for those who already checked in AND had an appointment. There was no clearly marked place to check in. Whatever, I can get over that. I had an issue with the mail app on all of my apple devices and wanted someone to take a look. The bouncer wouldnt let me in because he said he didnt want to waste my time and that I needed to do my homework. I walked up to another team member a few minutes later and explained that I had appointment and just wanted to see someone. He said he would be happy to help and started setting something up. Employee #1 came over to me and said oh youre back and then told his coworker to cancel my appointment and not let me in because again, it was a waste of time. He was rude, patronizing, and condescending and unwilling to even attempt to help. Very dissatisfied.
I have typically had good experiences at this location, unfortunately my most recent visit was not good at all. I booked an appointment online and ordered a new IPhone 12 mini. I had an iPhone 8 in perfect condition, just a bit outdated so I was trading it in. I went into the store and was greeted by a woman who started the process, she then passed me off some someone else. Which was fine. He almost immediately turned around and started helping someone else who had just walked up, but I waited patiently still. When he came back, we transferred my number to my 12 mini, I had already backed up my old phone so I factory reset it, confirmed trade in, received payment for the physical in store trade in, then I was told I was able to leave. Overall the experience was fine, until I just got billed for the trade in iPhone 8 because it was apparently never turned in by the store. So I called customer service to tell them what’s happening. I spoke with two different people and then they decided we should contact the store directly. The employee Chris answered our call and he immediately seemed annoyed and did not know what to do. Which would be fine, but he refused to figure out the solution. He told me I needed to call I different person. I told him that was unacceptable after I had been on the phone an hour already and it was obviously their store in question who lost the trade in phone. Chris then hung the phone up on me.It has been a very unprofessional experience dealing with the store and Chris specifically. I don’t know if they have a habit of employees stealing trade in phones, but that is really what is seemingly happening. The customers then have to front the money for the “missing” devices. They need a better team
This rating should be ZERO stars, but as that is not an option on this site, I was forced to give it one star. This company obviously doesnt care at all about customer service, and it shows. I came to this store to get a new battery for my I-phone 6S. The first time I came to the store, I was told that I would have to wait for someone to help me because I didnt have an appointment. So I waited for over 30 minutes and finally gave up on anybody helping me and left, even though dozens of employees wearing apple logo T-shirts were just milling around, supposedly working but not doing much of anything --- most of them looking sloppy and disheveled and not at all like they were at their place of employment actually working. Before leaving, I made an appointment for the following afternoon. I was assured by the person making the appointment that if I made an appointment, I would not have to wait and there would be someone to help me right away at my appointment time. The next day I showed up at my appointment time and I still had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to come over to where we were sitting and help us. Once more the atmosphere inside the store was totally chaotic. When someone finally came to our table to help us, she connected the phone to some gizmo in order to run some kind of diagnostic on my phone, which took 20 minutes during which time she left us to do something else and never came back. After waiting 20-25 minutes, a different employee came to our table and told me that I did not need a new battery because my existing battery was operating at 83% efficiency. (I have since learned that the Apple company recommends that the battery be replaced at 90% efficiency, and that it definitely needs replacement at anything below 85% -- so the information that this person gave us was totally bogus!) I told the Apple employee that I wanted to go ahead and replace the battery anyway because I needed a reliable battery that would hold a charge. So they took it into the back and told us that the phone would be ready to pick up at a specific time. So we killed time in the mall, walking around and waiting to pick up my cell phone. We showed up at the time we were told that the phone would be ready for pickup, and once again we had to wait! Then a totally different employee finally got around to helping us, and told us that they could not replace my phone battery because it was a third party battery and not an official Apple battery. This after waiting over 1.5 hours to get the battery replaced! (Not counting the 30 minutes that I waited for service the previous day!) Needless to say, I will never set foot in this or any other Apple store ever again!
I called them at three o clock in the afternoon and asked them if a 256 or 128 iPhone was available. They said, Yes, I am. I said, I will be there at 6 o clock to buy it. I drove for about an hour and a half and I left. When one of the employees arrived, I asked him that I had called and they told me that he was available. He told me its not available now so coldly, it happens all the time, we make sales mistakes. Its a bad experience, and if theres an evaluation, Id give it a negative.
I had a terrible experience with this store and they were unwilling to escalate to a Regional Manager or anyone that could help. I went into the store in late October due to my iPad keypad having intermittent issues where it would not work. While at the Genius Bar they told me they were out of stock and would order a replacement keypad and contact me when the keypad arrived. I had AppleCare and it had lapsed but they offered to provide the new keypad for $29. I stopped in a little over a week ago to check on the replacement keypad and they did not have record of me stopping into the store for service. They listened to my concern and said I would have to start all over and reschedule a new date to have someone look at it and they were unwilling to honor the $29 keypad replacement. I wanted to escalate to the Store Manager or Regional Manager to express my concern and they would not do it. I left out of frustration and still dont have the issue resolved. I have purchased like so many others so many Apple Products over the past 15 years and the way I was treated at this store was terrible and unacceptable.
It is shameful and disrespectful to order $340+ worth of food and not tip your delivery person. Im a living, breathing human being with needs and bills just like anyone else and I dont deserve to be treated that way. I support more than just myself, and Im struggling to keep a roof over my head. I should be in indiana grieving with my family over the loss of my uncle who just died, but instead Im here struggling extra hard because big companies like you guys cant tip.
Bought phone new from target years back. Take it to apple store to change battery. They open it, break it, (the home button no longer works) give it back and say service is denied due 3rd party parts. No idea how 3rd party parts could be in it as I bought it new from Target who is an authorized retailer. So they broke my phone and offered no solution, except not our problem. They dont stand behind theyre products they just want you to buy new ones.
This location seems to always be busy but the folks that work here are always quick to help answer your questions or find what you are looking for. My wife and I purchased our iPhones here and I purchased my watch bands here. When I went to get my bands, they helped me try different bands to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. I ended up getting two bands. Great place to shop for Apple
I went in ready to buy.Not greeted at door.I approached someone and asked about the product I was looking for, I was directed to it. That person did not ask me if I needed help.I waited longer.I asked someone else for help. I asked a very specific question. I received an answer that did not answer my question. I asked about “A” and they told me about the battery life of the machine. I felt like I was being gaslighted because I’m a girl.I’m going to shop online.
Nice and very neat place to look and try out all Apple products and Beats by Dr. Dre wireless headphones etc. Helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Have a Starbucks coffee ( Starbucks restaurant located just opposite of Apple store ) and enjoy researching on Apple products to help decide which product is more suitable to you.
I stopped by to pick up my new iPhone 12 Pro. My salesman Danny was so helpful I ended up getting a lot more accessories to make life easier. Danny spoke with facts and looked up every spec I had a question about. His energy and customer service are well above par. Deserving of a raise! And thank you for the military appreciation discount!
Great place to come if you want valuable customer service/help with your iPhone purchases etc. My salesman Danny was so helpful that he helped me set up all kinds of stuff and explained stuff to me very clearly and understandably. My guy Danny definitely deserves a raise 🙌🙌
I want to thank Gabby and Tanner, and the first guy I talked to (I don’t know his name) they fought for three hours to fix a issue that wasn’t even their own, it was my mobile carriers, and instead of turning me away and telling me to solve it with them, they stayed after the store was closed and talked on the phone for over an hour with my mobile carrier until the issue was fixed. I can’t thank them enough.
I dont know how I should feel about the Apple store right now. I was short 10 cents and do you know this man would not let me get my phone because I did not have 10 cents. I only had $100 on me and did not want to break it.😒😒😒😒 so the lady who over heard the conversation gave me the dime. I just thought that was crazy. APPLE IS A BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY AND THEY WERE TRIPPING OverR A DIME. OR MAYBE IT WAS JUST THE CLERK???
The new check in stuff is very new, to me at least, they have people there taking temps and organize people with appts and walkins and all that. But everyone there, including the security guards were soooo nice and nice to talk to while I waited. When I got in there the guy who helped me was very honest about phones and phone plans yadda yadda. I didnt end up getting anything but I still walked away feeling good about the information/advice I got which is a win for me as a shopaholic lol
When I arrived I thought maybe Beyoncé was consulting the Polaris Geniuses due to the 4 or 5 beefy, security guards standing outside the store. They were so incredibly kind and professional and gave me clear instruction on where to go and explained that a Genius would assist me shortly. I stood in my spot for just a few seconds before being approached by Simon, my new favorite person. Simon greeted me and escorted me over to the area where he would later resurrect my dinosaur 🥲 He asked me to describe the reason for my visit and reassured me with his positive attitude and confident, intentional tone that he would do everything in his power to resolve my issue. Simon assessed the situation quickly and knew exactly what he needed to do to take care of the problem. I know it was a relatively simple fix but I was very stressed and concerned (internally, big girls don’t cry) that I had rendered my desktop useless with my ignorant clicking 😭 SIMON IS AMAZING AND EVEN IF A DAY-1 GENIUS COULD SOLVE MY PROBLEM, NO ONE CAN MATCH SIMONS ELITE SERVICE AND CALMING ESSENCE. Simon is also a very humble man who tried resisting my attempts to shower him with compliments and inflate his ego 💕
This review is quite odd because of the sole reason of me using a Samsung S8+ but to be honest I didnt feel insulted coming inside the presentation is very nice and I felt welcome inside. The People inside are quite nice and actually left me alone to do my own things but its kinda hard see who works there and who doesnt. Theres always people ready to drop what theyre doing to help you and they put effort to it to. Theres even classes you can take to get better or learn about your Apple device everything is there waiting for you to try it out and I think that open approach is awesome the only thing people say is that they cant get services quick enough but theyve fixed that overtime and you also have to put into consideration that its a small and everyone and anyone can show up there overall nice shop that I visit often and Im glad they accept and appreciated me too.
The store is awful and I had the most horrendous experience. It took getting the new iPhone 11 Pro from exciting to really not worth it at all.I filed a formal complaint and have taken surveys up the waZoo for what I had to go through. I wish I could explain what happened, but yelp has a text limit.... that is how bad it was.Managers there that cant take the time to talk to you on the phone. People that arent trained. CHARGED $150 for my trade in that passed inspection, then Apple can not systematically process a refund back to my card. Dude didnt swap my SIM card... the list goes on with the issues and stress this store caused.I will not recommend Apple. I will not recommend going to that particular Apple store. I have voiced this situation to many already, and that is what can happen with a terrible experience like this... it will travel by word of mouth and hopefully haunt them for what they need to do better and how they need to treat their customers. If you get a new iPhone. Go through your carrier for gods sake...
If I were to go into any store or shop and ask for a phone call once a repair is completed they would comply. Apple will not. I return to the store a few minutes before it’s ready. I asked for someone to grab me once the phone is ready. They told me they cannot. Absolutely horrible service. The phones are designed to make battery replacement hard and they will not sell OEM batteries. They have slashed trade in values. A phone that costs 1000$ new is down to 170$ after two years. The new phones are minor upgrades yet prices have continue to rush ever higher.I will not buy another IPhone.
I have a Macbook Pro 2015 with a swollen battery. I found out that theres a recall for that model for swollen battery issue. Took my Macbook Pro to the store. They said my laptops serial number is not eligible. I cant make the battery swell. Its definitely a faulty battery from Apple. They apparently excluded some eligible Macbook Pros from this recall. They said itd cost me more than $500. Disappointing.
I had a great experience at this store. Had an appointment for a battery replacement in my old iphone. They were very prompt - actually took me ahead of schedule. Repair was done in less than 1 hour, although there was a shadow on the display caused when the phone was re-assembled. They ended up replacing the display for me at no charge and it only took 20 minutes more. Very helpful staff!
Horrible customer service. Too much to this story to type out entirely. The short of it is that my wife was going to by me the XS Max for my birthday. Spoke with 2 different associates and couldn’t get clear answers on how the credit would be applied, payments and cost of Apple care. After being talked down to by the manager we asked for some time to consider what had been discussed. Within 5 minutes we made the decision to purchase the phone anyway. Nope. Apple cancelled out all the transaction information, returned the phone to inventory and I would have had to start the whole process over. I never left the table I was standing at. They couldn’t even give me 5 minutes to consider the information I was told. Apple clearly doesn’t care if they keep anyone as a customer or not. I have been an Apple customer for a very long time and have never wanted to switch to a different company more than I do right now. Before this visit I was consider upgrading phone and iPad. Now I am just pissed at them. Though it is clear they do not care one way or the other.
I had a particularly horrible experience with this store. I woke up with an iPhone 6 plus that was working perfectly fine. Later that day, it died and would not recharge. I took it to the apple store when none of my efforts to reset the phone worked. I explicitly asked them to check if it needed a new battery or a new charging port. The employee said her diagnostic test would tell me exactly what was wrong with the phone. She ran the test and told me my phone was not able to be fixed and I would have to buy a new one. Luckily, I didnt believe her so I took it to a local repair shop where they did a quick test, replaced my battery, and were able to turn my phone on just fine. a $29 fix. The apple employee was either horrible at her job, or blatantly lied to me to get me to buy a new phone. Needless to say, I am pretty pissed.
This Apple store has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service of any I have ever been to in my like. There is an employee there by the name of “Ricky” who was in-capable of answering any of my questions, wasted over 2 hours of my time and was completely incompetent. At one point, I asked to speak to a manager to which he said, “they were all un-available” then he proceeded to give me the run around and I left dissatisfied without having my issue addressed. I would HIGHLY recommend someone looking into his lack of professionalism and incompetency because if I was the manager of this location, I would not want someone like him working for me and devaluing my business. If you’re reading this review and you’re able to do so, I would STRONGLY AVOID going to this location and would suggest using Microcenter off of Bethal Rd for all of your service and purchasing needs. I truly hope this review helps someone else avoid this headache.
On Nov 26 I thought I misplaced my phone. After searching my home, car & even returning to last store I had been in that day I called the Apple Store asking for help in possibly disabling phone. A very nice, sympathetic young man, helped me in the process of locating my missing phone! Im so sorry to not haven gotten the name of person who was so patient with me and stayed on the line until he successfully helped me locate phone which was in my house!
Customer service by guy name Taylor is horibleHe reprisend him self as Supervisor of the Polaris fasion Apples storeBold White male , hight about 5.8-6 ftI ask for his last name badge number . He said i dont gave ppl my last name , he said He has no Apple Badge number . Most of the workers in Apple store have a Apple Badge number a specialy supervisors. He is in the center on the pictureWhen I ask for help he reject my needs and told me call apple care .My phone has back glass damage, I ask to help with this , to get invoice so I can provide to my business bank account for full reimbursement by bissiness bank waranty.Very unprofessional service.I have Apple phone for years but with this experience made me think to go back on android.
Waited on hold 15 mins yesterday with Apple to book appt at Genius Bar for today to go over purchasing 3 new 12pro phones. Wait in line 15 mins today and get up to counter and they don’t sell phones or review phones here. Meanwhile I stood and watched him line up several phones out of boxes on the counter for the person in front of me . Wasted trip. Wasted time . He says the person at Apple didn’t know they are just a window here. There are 3 security guards out front and you can only walk to a window by appt?
I had a unique and unfortunate situation where I lost my phone and my Apple ID password along with it. I went to the store to see if there was anything I could do to avoid being locked out of my account. Cornelius was able to provide me with a creative solution to my problem and helped me avoid a very stressful situation. Thank you Cornelius!
Why do they make you take an appointment if you have to wait an hour anyways just to be ripped off?!! Apple has no customer service and no respect for the customer’s time. Next time you go there just watch. They seem so chill too chill they are just talking with their co workers Even when they are supposed to be helping people. I get it. They can because they own us. Right?! If you own apple products you are at their mercy and there’s nothing you can do about it. #nomoreapple so next time take your lunch and enjoy the wait by watching apple exploit their customer base. I had to give one star to write this review. Google should have negative stars for reviews. I would have given a negative 100 stars!!
I just received an Apple Watch for a birthday present but it wasn’t charging. So I went back to the Apple store and they wouldn’t even let me walk in without an appointment. I understand that because of COVID, but after I discussed what was wrong, they said they couldn’t help me. They refused to give/sell me another charging just to see if the cord was wrong or if the watch was malfunctioning. They asked if there was someone else’s cord I could use and I said “No, I’m the only one in my household with an Apple Watch.” Then I was told to “Go to BestBuy”.
You call this Genius Bar??? What a jokeA white young women from Genius Bar told me that my iPad Pro is compatible with ipencil 2. (She checked the series number for me). I almost bought it until when I got home and looked up online and it DOES NOT compatible with the ipencil 2!!! Mine is a 2017 iPad Pro 10.5.I am speechless, you call those people genius while they cant even read????
I have an iPhone 7 that is affected by the searching/no service issue and the fella at the store wouldn’t even attempt to check the phone to verify the issue because I had a 3rd party screen repair done. All he said was that they couldn’t do anything because it couldn’t be proven that the screen repair didn’t cause the issue even though my model number is the one listed for the recall. Came home and spent an hour and a half on the phone with Apple, and the phone is now being taken care of. The only reason I gave them two stars is because Apple support scheduled me at the wrong location but this location went ahead and honored the appoint time.
They corrected the urgent problem the Easton location refused to fix without an appointment. It took the genius maybe 3 minutes to do his magic and then we just waited for the MacBook to do its own thing. The guys name (I think) was Seth, and hes a really great guy. While waiting, he showed us the new Apple Arcade device. I sincerely hope he is or becomes a manager because he really is the best.
They are extremely unorganized and for some odd reason, the employees come off as pretentious. I’ve had numerous problems with these “top of the line” products failing and all have been deemed to be non-user defects. Buying Apple care is a nice peace of mind, but when it comes time where you have to use it, you’ll have to wait an hour to be seen and be without your laptop for a week.
I just bought an Ipad pro and it was freezing up so instead of taking it back to Tmobile I went to the apple store. The line goes quick but there is no solution to your problem I think that it is all about sales with this store. It was freezing up on me. Come to find out that it had a defect. I thought that I could exchange it and it would be that simple. No i was told that there were none in stock and that it could nt be fixed. I had to make an appoint or go to apple .com. The soonest was in 2 weeks . Mind you I just got this pad less then 48 hours ago. I told him I just wanted a replacement and there was no fixingor replacing of this item. I find this hard to believe I sure people buy things all the time in the store he just didnt want to do it. I was given custermer care thru my phone provider and because its insured its supposed to be fixed by applecare, I taked to a Quinton whom did everything except get me a new device. He transferres me again to a manager whom does the same thing as Quinton with no results who sends me back to my phone provider and they got me another one. should have done that in the first place. Instead of gotten a run around from the apple store, dont waste your time at this store. The reps are only interested in phone sales and nothing else.
Horrible customer service; I usually go to the Easton mall store, but this is the first time I have ever been to this is store; the Apple genius technician doesnt understand or want to hear the issue that you have with your phone. I kept telling him I have apple care and show him proof that I have apple care. I spend more than five hours at the store to diagnose my phone, and they keep telling me there is nothing wrong with your phone. The store manager also agrees with tech. I left the store and when to the Easton store, they found the problem, and they fix my phone within 30 minutes.
My wife is the Apple person Im an android person. But this place has been very helpful to my wife and my children. Especially my wife they answer her questions they fix her phone this is the place whether you buy a phone here not you ensure your app a phone with these folks and they will fix it or replace it and give you a new phone. I like this place a lot its helped and it has replaced several phones for my family. The workers they know their stuff
Spent over 9 hours at this store attempting to fix a problem that one of the managers at the store started when they issued us a replacement phone that didnt work. We have been with Apple products exclusively for over 20 years. We have never experienced such poor customer service until we recently went to this store on two occasions. This store has poorly trained employees and the managers are completely incompetent. After spending 9 hours in and out of the store on a Saturday we walked away realizing that this store absolutely discriminates against certain customers. They were openly mocking certain customers and laughing about one line excuses that they had come up with that are over people heads. Their favorite line to use is Unfortunately our systems wont allow us to do that, we really wish we could help you though. We witnessed this type of behavior happen consistently throughout the day. They made comments suggesting that because of peoples appearance or ethnicity they would never be able to afford certain devices. How is this stuff happening openly in a store and its 2017? You would think Apple of all places would understand the importance of training their employees on workplace discrimination.
Saw lots of negative reviews on here so we were a little hesitant to go to this location but we ended up having a very positive experience! My husband had shattered the screen on his iPhone 7. We got there about 10:30 and someone signed us in within five minutes. He told us the price and that it would be an hour for the repair. We went back in a little over an hour and again someone helped us within five minutes. His screen looks great and customer service was on point!
I brought my Macbook more than an hour before closing because I wanted to drop it off for them to look at and diagnose. I was told that Id have to come back for an appointment because they needed more time before closing to do that. Seriously? I know it only takes 5 minutes to check someone in. If you want to close an hour earlier then change your hours so people dont waste their time driving to your store.
The service is terrible and I would give zero star if I could. I went in with a friend for an appointment to fix a Macbook pro. Waited an hour and no one ever came to talk to us. People came after us received help before we did. When a store worker walked by, we asked the store workers and they dismissed us at our first sound saying that hes helping someone else without listening to us at all. I would avoid this place if you dont want to ruin your day and waste your time sitting in the store waiting all day.
Sitting in the store after waiting 1 hour and 20 min. I walked in at 7:10pm and setup an appointment for phone battery check. Given a wait time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Its now 1 hour and 40 min and still no service. Turns out that when I checked in the specialist didnt check me in and the system decided to skip over me. Everytime I come here its an hour + wait even with an appointment made online. I get far better service going to the carrier store just down the hall. The manager tried to claim that i didnt check in except that I did and the specialist indicated that he did check me in. Managements first assumption should not be to blame the customer. Now shes attending to someone else who just walked up instead of attending to me. Couldnt give them zero stars.
0/5 stars for the Polaris Mall location5/5 stars for the Apple customer careVery incompetent staff regarding my recent visit. I recently schedule an appointment for Sunday at 1:45. I arrived to the store around 1:30 and checked in ASAP. Well at least I thought I did. I was informed to go back to the genius last bar and wait.Well after sitting in the back for about 15 mins I began to think “I just be waiting until my scheduled appointment” after another 15 mins go by I look around and spot someone who looks like they work there. I asked if they did and if they could see what the hold up was.The associate I talked to asked my name and states “oh it looks like you weren’t checked in, let me get you checked in” a minute later another associate comes out and starts his process. I explained to him I was scheduled to get a battery replaced in my iPhone X.I was prepared to pay for the replacement and then wait/walk around the mall. Unfortunately this isn’t what happened. The so called genius explains “we are out of batteries” but we can order one and reschedule you. What?!?!? Reschedule me? I purposely made an appointment to come in on Sunday at 1:45 2 days prior and now you’re telling me you’re out of batteries. WTF, ( by the way they don’t hearing the actual words ) the butt hurt associate keeps explaining how if I continue to cuss he will kick of me out the store. Well then, go get your god damn manager! After about 5 mins of what I’m guessing this not so genius who’s mangina is now shriveled up to his tonsils, finished his sob story to his manger finally comes out. We’re sorry but we don’t have the battery but we can order it and have you come back. I kept explained the whole process of having an appointment and how this whole process is dysfunctional. She proceeded to bury herself more and more as she continued to show her scripted empathy. “ we can’t control people who happen to come in and need replacements” I completely understand you can’t control others. But what you can control is your inventory and the customers who take the time to make appointments. A notification would have been wonderful, getting me checked in correctly the first time would have been great as well.Well now after about being in the store now for about 45 mins. “What are we going to do about this?” “We can order a battery and you can comeback anytime to get it replaced no appointment necessary” she said. What? No appointment necessary!? Then why did I make one to begin with? What about my time that I took out of my day to get this taken care of? (Look of confusion on her face) I’d like to know what you are going to do about this, and know who is going to be accountable for this. The woman explained its going to be up to the manager on duty that day?!? What? The manager on duty? What about yourself are you going to be here next Sunday? No she said. Well who’s the manager in-charge next Sunday. “I can’t give out that information” you’ve got to be kidding me. So all I have now is a bunch of empty promises with no body to hold accountable for this. Fine, write it up I’ll be back next Sunday. On my way out I decide to call Apple and file a complaint and explained the situation. The first care associate took down all the notes and had to transfer me to a senior care associate (I am not to pleased about this) This senior care associate preceded to see what could be done about this and asked me some questions and contacted the store.Needless to say after about 3 hours of being in the retail store and on the phone. I have someone who is willing to be held accountable for what happened and provided me with an acceptable solution.Thank you customer caretl:drThe apple store appointment system is a joke!Customer care accepted responsibility of the incompetent staff at the retail location and provided me with a solution.Update. Went to get my battery installed on 9/7 and the retail store was just as disappointing as before. I don’t understand why they can’t be accountable as phone support. This store is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!
I was on a business trip and had to get my battery replaced at this location. When I got home (2 1/2 hours away), I noticed that there is no sound when I make or receive calls. The only way I am able to communicate on my phone is to use speaker phone. When I called about the issue, I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes and then was told I would have to take the phone back to that particular store!!! Really Apple?!! The whole situation makes me sick to my stomach. Trying so hard not to switch to android but service like this is unacceptable.
I went to Apple to get my phone battery replaced after standing in line for over and hour then having to leave and come back and stand more they told me they couldn’t replace my battery because my frame was bent because they can’t be held reliable. The guy flat out told me to go to another shop which makes no sense. I BOUGHT my phone from APPLE, why is APPLE telling me to go to another store to fix the phone I bought from them. I did not buy such an expensive phone from a company that can’t even do what the claim to do and claim to have such great service when they don’t. The guy talking to me about my phone was really nice but it was such a waste of time to be told to go to another company because they won’t do it. Like why did I spend all this money just to be let down my a company that’s suppose to be one of the best in the markets?
I went to this Apple with a problem with a Mac Book pro charger that granted Ive had for 6 years. Now I take very good care of my Mac products hence why I have a 6 year old MacBook Pro. My first charger, the one i went in about, has been tapped in several locations and it has finally broke in a place that cannot be tapped. As long as the charger was working before I didnt have a problem with it but now it is a saftey issue. I had a backup charger ready to go and the first day I used it, it legitimately BLEW UP. So I went to talk to Apple. They made me get an appointment at the Genius bar, which is fine theyve always helped me before. And then i had the RUDEST interaction with an employee. She came over and asked for more information, so I told her what happened and she said she needed the serial number from my laptop. As i was in for the charger i didnt think to have that information with me. So she said well Im not a technician but theyre just going to make you pay for a new one and i told her i still wanted to see the technician because i find it incredible that Apple wont address a safety issue with their produce that ive now had blow up on me. And she told me in a very nasty voice to leave and have a nice day.
Overall it was and has been a great experience here. They are very quick to check you in and get your help. Not everyone is willing to take care of things which does make it difficult. We had to work with a. Manager but when he went on break the other workers would not work with us to resolve an iCloud issue we had. Took us over 4 hrs to resolve an issue that should have taken 30-1hr to do. Always clean stocked and friendly store though.
The staff was very rude!We had an appt at the genius bar and their System was down when We arrived. I expected them to take my phone and call me when its done. The guy very rudely told me they couldnt do anything till the system came back on. We dont live close to the store, wouldve been nice if they called us ahead of time and let us know they wouldnt be able to take our phone for repair. Drove an hour for nothing, and was treated rudely. The least they couldve done is reschedule new for the next day, NOPE! We dont do that, you have to call the help lineIm really disappointed with apple as a company and this store in my community. We deserve better.
I have been to the apple store 4 times this week. I bought the new I Mac book pro, and some accessories. The first sales representative sold me on some items then turn around and gave me something else saying that’s all they had in stock you’ll have to take this along with the wrong software I was wanting. After going to Micro Center and they told me differently plus had the items that I really wanted. I bought those items one back to the Apple store returned the wrong software and the adapters that were sold to me. Most of the representatives were good at what they do, but want to comes to business there seems to be only two guys that you can deal with. I’ve talked to Allen a couple times and I would love to work with him because I feel he has the best knowledge. It didn’t work out that way. Today was the last day went back in to try to get the program downloaded and installed correctly. The associate that I dealt with told me we don’t do that kind of thing. But Allen tells me to bring stuff in you’ll be there for me. It just so happened he was off that day . So this associate she went over some things and supposedly did the download and said you’ll be good and walked off. And our past I never saw het again. I finally asked somebody else what’s going on I just been left here high and dry. They told me she’ll be out in a minute. Another 45 minutes go by. I go to the guy at the door and told him what was going on. He pointed out a person bald guy with the beard. He is the genius bar manager he told me go tell him and explain to him what’s going on he will take care of you. When I get one he is the genius bar manager he told me go tell him and explain to him what’s going on he will take care of you. When i walked up to talk to him he shot off a different direction after looking me in the eye. Then from there he went to the back room I waited at the door from the back room. Another associate asked me if I needed help I explain to her what I was going through and what I was told. She told me she would get in and we get this figured out. This guy comes bombing through the door almost yelling telling me There has been some miscommunication. He said you were told to see a manager anybody can be a manager there’s a guy right here he’s a manager he’s a better manager than me deal with him I’m going to lunch. That was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever met in my life and if he is a manager he shouldn’t be. With that kind attitude he shouldn’t be working with customers period. Another guy there help me get through last but I was trying to get through. Though I still have other things that Allen and I were talking about heaven for bid if I bring that up. That was the most unpleasant experience ever. That makes me wish I did not have any Apple products whatsoever. I’m just glad I was able to keep my cool. Customer Care here at Polaris fashion mall it’s hit and miss I wish you luck may you have a better experience than I did
I had the most horrible experience . I had a scheduled appointment and had to wait 45 minutes. Which the wait was not the reason Im leaving this feedback. I spoke with Jamie who runs the Genius bar scheduling and he said I had left my seat and that he was looking all over for me. I told him I was going to the rest room. I went to seat back down and waited another 20 minutes and then I went to another guy for help. The other guy said to talk to Jamie again and Jamie begun yelling at me saying we were looking for you and I told I was seating there the whole time waiting and he said no you were not seating there. This apple worker made a scene in the store. THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE FIRED! You keep hiring people like this you will be lucky to get 2 out 5 stars on average before this year is up....
I always have a great experience when I visit this Apple retail location. Now, I do avoid the busy weekends and generally go during the week. Have had great interactions with the staff, who were very knowledgeable about the iPad Pro. Recommend this location for any Apple needs.
Took my phone in last Thursday to get it fixed, they said all I needed was a new battery. I paid 50 dollars for a new battery. It worked for 2 days then i continued to have the same issues with my phone.Drove an hour back and told them that i was still having problems after just buying a brand new battery and they tell me i need a new phone because mines just old when i got it last august. I said okay and came back today to buy a new phone and get a refund for the battery i paid for since it obviously wasnt the problem the first time. i was not about to pay 50 dollars for a new battery then be told i need a new phone when mine was in perfect condition. SO, they take my card to refund my 50 dollars but instead CHARGE ME ANOTHER 50 DOLLARS! The people were nice but were no help at all and obviously dont pay attention. I normally dont complain and understand that mistakes are made but i have made 3 trips to this place and they have screwed me over each time.
I bought an XR, which turn out to be defective, calls just keep dropping. I took it back to the store and they told me its a common issue with this model, and to just call my career, get a new SIM card and the problem will be solved. I not only got a new SIM car, but also a new career. The problem continued and even got worse. I took it back to the store again and they told me that I can not return it because it has pass the 14 days return period and there is nothing they can do for me , even though I explain to them that I came within the return period and they sent me away, and it’s all documented. Also, none of them seem to know that warranty for a defective product is one year. I spent two hours talking to customer services during which the call dropped twice and I had to call back and start all over. It was a very bad experience and I’m very disappointed in both apple product and customer service. The most disappointing thing was that I spent my money, wasted my time and all the inconvenience that this caused me and they treated me like I’m asking for a favor!!!
Have been using Apple since 2012 and never had issues replacing damaged charging cables (yeah, I know you can explain me the policies - before showing us the policies, remember the phone is no more a defect free product as it use to be! How many times you told me to just turn it off and turn it on to fix a bug! Lol! )for my iPhone for no cost. The store staff denied replacing the cables this time, and yeah explained the policies, lol, & offered me a new one for a $2 less price! Steve Jobs really made a difference by placing ‘customers first’ where as apple under Mr. Tim Cook, is all about money now! One man really made a difference!!
It’s an Apple Store. Is there too much to explain? This place is awesome. Highly recommend getting an Apple Watch if you’re on your feet a lot, and it’s a useful piece of technology if you already have an iPhone too. I was first here around 2011 when I was a kid, and I got my first iPod touch. Lots of memories.
Outstanding place to go for Apple knowledge. No pressure sales. The sales representative I spoke with (Brandon) was so cool and extremely helpful. Being a PC user I was hesitant to go to Mac operating system. Brandon showed me “what it’s all about” in a smooth and informative manner. Although I did not purchase a Mac Air right then, I did leave worth the confidence to purchase one soon. Found out too that they offer FREE classes to iOS users even if purchased elsewhere. Very clean and organized place. Plenty of onsite staff for any rush of business. Trust me that place can get busy!
Went to store to get new phone battery. They took my name and told me to wait at a table. While waiting for 10 minutes, someone came up to me and asked me what my name was. He proceeded to tell me that someone sent me to the wrong table and we would have to wait a little longer when NO ONE made any effort to find us for our appointment. While waiting, a worker who was helping another customer said Anything else I can do for you? If not, I am going to take my break. Not only is this an unprofessional thing to say to a customer, but it was 45 minutes before the store was closing. Ended up standing up and walking out of store because of frustration and unprofessionalism of workers.
Absolutely horrible service. I scheduled a genius bar appointment 2 days in advance. My appointment was for 2:40 and waited 45 minutes to even be spoken to. While I waited, I sat and watched people walk in the store with no appointment and get help immediately. I am pretty sure you can get assistance quicker without an appointment. Pathetic.
Very poor customer service has been my experience the last three visits. Today I called for an update on a replacement battery that was supposed to be in the store three days ago. Struggled through automated attendant who thought I was someone else, and then was placed on hold for 35 minutes. When it finally rang for an attendant it rang for three minutes only to disconnect the phone call. Never did reach anyone to fix my defective iPhone. The GM of this store should be ashamed of such poor customer service, especially for a premium product and brand who prided themselves on excellent customer service. I guess I will have to show up and wait for another 30 minutes ...
I had to come down to the apple store to back my iPhone 6 up to the cloud. I was transferring all of my pics and contacts to my new iPhone 8. Sprint was unable to do the backup in a timely fashion and recommended I take both phones downstairs to apple instead!! Ryan saw me wandering around like a lost puppy and helped my back up my iCloud even though it took 30 minuets, he checked on me every five or so minutes to check the progress and overall made a really stressful experience super easy. Ryan is pretty dope if you ask me.
I have participated in two training classes (both with Alec who was outstanding) to optimize use of my iPhone 11 for photography purposes and my Apple Watch 5. The classes were outstanding and I am very grateful that Apple offers this service. I highly recommend it (and it is free)!!
The day I activated my new iPhone my old iPhone Mysteriously stopped working and would not power on so I took it to the Apple Store to have a diagnostic test done. They did not inspect be fun, they just hooked it up to their computer and advise me that it would never turn on again and they have no explanation or reason or the test results to show me. Total waste of time. They’re only recommendation was to buy a refurbished phone for $317 to replace the phone that we already replaced but was going to trade it in, Apple told us there is no value for a phone that won’t turn on - it was a total waste of time And not the least bit helpful
Extremely disappointed in this experience. I set an appointment to arrive at 12 pm. I got there 10 minutes early to sign in and then had to wait 40 minutes before I was seen. A technician (Josh) stopped by gave me a charger and said he wiuld be back. 25 minutes later and I was told that a battery could not be changed on my iPhone 6 because it was swollen. The process I was told was too labor intensive and the suctions the used to her the body removed most likely break the screen? (I knew I was being BSed right then). I was told he would replace the phone for $300.00!!!! Look Apple, we are not dumb. Even without your precious gadgets, we still can access the internet. I know a sales pitch when I see it. How about do what your advertising says and replace my rotten battery that you produced then sabotaged later!!! At the end of the day, me and my family of 6 will stay very clear of your toxic product. I went to the kiosk right above your store and they fixed my unfix able phone. You suck
I felt bad for giving a bad review until I noticed that everyone seems to have terrible customer service here as well. I spent 4 hours on the phone and in store trying to return a product that corprate Apple told me they would allow me to return. However the store refused to assist me or tried to make the situation better they just shoed me away like anything I had to say wouldn’t change anything, because it didn’t. i enjoy going to the physical Apple store to buy my products so that those people can keep their job I expect great customer service and for them to resolve the issue. The man I spent most of the time with didn’t have any control and did what he could but the managers there did not care at all about my situation and would not even speak to me.
Half knowledge technical people don’t know anything. My xr has warranty and got issues with they new software bug.Three times it got freeze whole days.First time they did software update. They changed display 2nd time 3 rd time they told me it’s software issue due to their bug. They removed my screen card two time to do trail and error method testing which cost 20$Still issue is continuing....I wish I rate zero star. They are testing clients patients. They are so rude.
Great place to shop, I have been going there since I was a kid always loved it. There is various stores that caters to all kinds of people and personalities, all kinds of different food from American, Asian Greek, Italian, and Halal food in the food court. It also has an apple store, Dick’s sporting goods, Barnes & Noble, Dave & Buster’s and many more. The mall is also near an Ikea, Ohio Health urgent care, various supermarkets and more food.
No sense of urgency or customer relationship. Currently I am trying to get the battery changed on my iPhone which they ordered the part for. So far so good. But now, I have received an email that I have to schedule the repair before Sunday, otherwise they will give the battery to someone else. Now, I cannot schedule an appointment at the Genius Bar, since it is not associated with my Apple ID. Therefore I called the number provided, which by the way is the phone number of this particular store, and no one would bother to take the call. I had to deal with an automated system which is as bad as SIRI and then I was waiting for 2 hours in the line... still no one would bother to take the call... But I am not surprised, because when I was in there to order the battery, all the 100,000 associates were so calm that they were not even bothered, when customers would lose their patience, but it is a phenomenon, how slow the associates can be... In my line of field: judgement day and they would show you the door... In a nutshell: Very Disappointing and I would expect more. I will mark a cross in my calendar when I am thru with this subject and I do not have to go back and deal with anyone in there anymore. Defiantly a point for the store manager to think about and to improve. I just bought a MacBook Air and luckily, I found it somewhere else. In and out... Here I probably would have waited for approx 2 hours just to get on a list...
Apple has great customer support and I sincerely appreciate the brick and mortar store. Unfortunately my experience was less than pleasant. It started when I woke up and my Iphone 7 did not have service, it just displayed searching in the top left hand corner. I went to the Verizon retail store (in Dublin, Ohio) where they changed the sim card and did other troubleshooting. The new sim card did not correct the issue. While at the Verizon store I connected to the wifi and leveraged the Apple support app, the online tech performed a diagnostic but could find no issues with the phone and recommended that I go to a Apple store for further assistance. I headed to the Apple store (Polaris Mall, Columbus Ohio) where I was greeted by pleasant people who assigned me a waiting time and a place to sit. approx. 30 mins later I met Matt. Matt was pleasant and introduced himself. He performed some quick diagnostics and told me my$769 Iphone 7 that I have owned and babied for 1 year and 86 days had experienced an internal firmware defect and my phone would no longer be able to make calls, and that I should just upgrade or replace it at a cost to me. While he explained it, it was like someone was robbing me and there was nothing I could do to stop it. Internally I became very defensive and wanted to yell at this guy, but I restrained myself, restated the lack of solutions in its entirety and asked if there were any other options. I attempted to win him to my way of thinking through an analogy, I asked him: If your car broke after a year and 86 days and you brought it to the dealership and if it was determined it was a defect with the product not caused by owner, and most likely a mistake in engineering or manufacturing, the dealer would fix it. He agreed with my logic, however he told me that it would be unfair to the people that had purchased Applecare if he helped me. This made me want to explode inside... Applecare is intended to cover careless mistakes that the customer make example:a cracked screen or water damage. My phone is babied and looked mint condition. I explained this, but it was obvious Matt was not going to change his mind on swapping my phone. This drove me crazy internally, even though I own 5 Apple TVs, 2 personal Iphones, A work Iphone with Honda, and as a small business owner on the side we use Apple computers and 4 Iphones... all this and this one terrible experience with Matt made me want to trade in my all my Apple products for an alternate. One of the richest companies in the world (Apple) could not swap my phone for a replacement, even if it were refurbished. It would have probably cost Apple 20$ to do the swap but instead Matt put a bad taste in my mouth about your products, and I will share this bad experience with friends and family and the internet. I am so disappointed with Apple and how poorly Matt handled this situation. I politely left the Apple store in disgust. To be honest, this is not Matts fault, attitude reflects leadership, he could have handled this situation in a myriad of different ways, but he didnt... he just gave me the cold shoulder that equated to: that we dont care about out customers, you should have bought insurance to cover Apples Mfg. or Eng. mistakes. If I were to place blame, it would fall on the senior mgmt of that store for not empowering their team with the tools for success. Brand loyalty and word of mouth are powerful tools and such as simple swap due to a mfg. or eng. issue would have allowed Apple to save face but Matt and your company failed.
Although I waited over an hour and a half to see a Technician at the Genius Bar, Jordan was extremely helpful and quick in his diagnosis of my dying iPhone SE. There were no replacements in stock at the Polaris store, but he made some calls and had a new iPhone waiting for me at the Easton store. Inconvenient, yes - but the service was great once I was finally seen!
Purchase a $1600 (brand new iPhone X) phone and get scammed into purchasing AppleCare only to not have warranty/AppleCare honored. Terrible service at Polaris location after waiting 35 minutes past my appointment time. The manager on duty, Emily, provided zero support. The genius, Mike’s, attitude was not that of somebody that’s in the customer support field. I will be switching to android purely based on the customer service experienced at the store and with AppleCare procedures. I’ve found the actually physical product to be of high quality, but sad to say after 8 years in an iPhone I’ll be switching due to customer service issues.
I reached out because my uncle passed away suddenly and he had many apple products including an iPad. These are obviously protected by his Apple ID. I have death certificate and executor of estate paperwork, however Apple claims to have no way to help. They said I could try the reset link if I can hack his email, which I also won’t do. I’m not trying to bypass a system illegally, hence my inquiry to apple for help. The final answer was it must be thrown away unless I come across his password. This to me is unacceptable. How can a company not have a better policy for handling such a common occurrence? There are serial number on the products which tie to the purchaser whose information is on file. Not to mention the court documents I can provide to ensure legality of clearing the device. This is an embarrassment.
Terrible. Tried to call about my iPhone 6s. The answering computer couldnt take my serial number properly and wouldnt connect me to a person. Poor, Poor service. some day you wont have all the business you do today. Machine hung up because you are busy now.I was in the store in person two weeks ago, and the sales person said to just call when I needed something. I said the apple phone system was cumbersome with all of the prompts. It is worse, and I was right. I will go in person, ,maybe. Hope this is my last iPhone.
I needed a new phone. The representative didnt want to bother wth me since he was waiting for another customer to return. Then, he didnt arrange for my new phone to be set up. Instead, he told me how to do it at home. I spent over an hour on this and what he told me did not work. Now, I have to drive back to the store and begin where he left off.His other customer did not return...
I went on a Friday night. It was like going to family arcade World Expo. People of all ages and all cultures gathered around a dozen or more Billard Ball sized tables, and lined along the wall length table, playing with hundreds of the latest Appleware displayed on all of the tables in the more than spacious sized arena.. People sitting, people standing, people in groups, families, couples, groups. And more than a dozen of the friendliest Apple experts, all easily identified by their red Apple attire. I found it to be a very pleasant experience. I talked with many of the staff as they milled about when not helping someone. I decided to get a new red iPhone. I was assisted in setting up the new iPhone by the very entertaining C.C.. I had a good time during my visit.
Took my daughters iphone 6S to have it looked at since the screen went blank in the middle of texting. The phone was less than 9 months old. Was told they would fix it, not replace it, and was given a time frame of 2-3 days. Was asked if I wanted to pick it up in the store or shipped directly to my home; the wait was the same either way, so chose my home. 1 week later, I am still waiting on her phone. I called the store and was talked to rudely and then hung up on when I asked to speak with a manager. I hope to never have to go back there. They did provide me with Fed-Ex tracking number which stated it was to arrive Friday morning by 10:30 am so I waited and still no phone. I called Fed-Ex and was told there was a delay and now it wont be delivered until Monday even though it was shipped for overnight delivery on Thursday. VERY BAD and unreliable service to customers who buy and use iphones.
Made an appointment for my MacBook Pro because the screen turned a bunch of different colors then went black and would not turn back on. When I got to the store, after waiting 45 minutes to be seen, the computer turned back on (of course). I asked the Apple genius to run a diagnostic to see what was causing the screen to go black. Finally the computer was diagnosed as a battery issue. She took it into the back for about 20 minutes, brought it back out and told me I had an option to buy a new battery for $129.00. Fair. so I asked her, because shes the genius, if she personally thinks I should get another battery. She told me no. She said the computer still has 2-6 months to live wirelessly and then after that I will have to eventually keep it plugged in at all times. I asked her if the computer was going to go black again because I can not afford to miss more class time to drive out a hour and a half away to come back. She said she believes it should not and that it was very strange it did that in the first place. I said okay and agreed to not get a new battery. In the meantime, this woman is trying to sell me on a new laptop. Mentioning how I can finance it and how these newer laptops are much better. I told her no Im not interested and left the store. The next day comes and the computers screen is black.. HELLO, This is not a coincidence, something is wrong with the computer and they did not take the time to diagnose it! Ive now been on the phone with apple all morning and the outcome is to drive back to the Apple Store (which, again, is a hour and a half away) to drop it off and pick it up in 3 days. I asked them if they could compensate me for my time and leading me to false conclusions and they said no.I will be going to the Easton Apple Store from now on. I am very loyal to Apple, but they clearly need better employees with more training at their Polaris location.
Feels like a store that thinks they have nothing to prove. Been in the market for a Pro grade laptop for a year now and been struggling with the choice of Apple or Lenovo. I walked in hoping someone could help me with the decision, I started messing around on one of the MacBook pros and 20 minuets later no one had come to ask if I needed help. Ended up leaving rather than continue to wait. If this is how they treat potential customers I cant say I feel like dropping 3 grand on a laptop with them.
I was approached by Carrie (manager) within seconds of entering the store. She was very nice and helpful at getting me an appointment. The gal who took the first look at my phone unfortunately was unable to get it to charge either. I cannot seem to remember the name of the tech who ended up helping me but he was very pleasant and our session was over within minutes. I walked out with a brand new iPhone 5. The whole store was full of happy energetic people who seemed to enjoy their jobs. It was however very busy and I HIGHLY reccomend making an appointment before hand if youre in a hurry. They do their best but the amount of people being accommodated is extremely disproportinate to the amount of geniuses available.
Was with a friend who had to get her screen fixed on her Apple phone. Have a pretty good system moves pretty fast fixing the screen is so expensive you could get an android phone for that same price brand new. Little pricey for my taste but I definitely like the androids better then an Apple.
Worst store experience ever. Genius are rude and incompetent. It OK if you dont know anything, but at least do not pretend to know something and make people laugh. Come on, you guys are not in comedy business. Or, are you?OK, now its even worse. I just bought a brand new iPhone for my mom and only to find out its a used one after I opened it in front of my mom tonight!!!!!*@!^@*&. They sealed it back into the plastic wrap and sell it as brand new!!!! And of course these genius didnt even bother to find out if the phone is locked by an apple ID or not when they tried to seal it back! And, I also lost a $25 invisibleshield I put on!!!!
Extremely disappointed! Brought in a frozen iphone asking for data recovery and update assistance through iTunes. Had no solution and was sent away with a frozen phone and no hope of data recovery!Good news! After much research, I updated the phone and it is working brilliantly. Apple help should be better trained.
This is one happenin’ store! We love the ease with which our iPhones are serviced, and the staff are top notch. We recently found out about all the different types of classes offered through Apple stores to teach about how to use our Apple devices with greater effectiveness as well as getting the most out of them. We watched our son learn how to turn his iPhone into a garage band, and he thoroughly enjoyed a little robot that was remotely controlled by an iPad. We have great reasons to be back again just for the fun of it.
Disabuse yourself right now that Apple is somehow different or special. iOS 7.0 download erased notes and most importantly made my iphone 4S impossible to get to wifi. I was supposed to have a 9am appt on Friday at the Apple Store 30 min away from me to get the phone replaced - this after 3 hrs of my time trying to fix the problem with tech support. Well, it turned out that appt never got made, so Im back there at 7 on a Friday night to try it again. That did not end well. I did learn from my Apple buddy Allen, who had the personality of roadkill, that most of what I got from phone tech support was either wrong or incomplete info. He would not so much as talk to his manager about offering me a small gift card to itunes for all the trouble caused by THEIR PROBLEM - iOS 7.0. Dont bother trying to call to talk to anyone at the store - they either route you to their useless phone tech support people or tell u to deal with their website. The attitude both at this store and company-wide is smug, arrogant, and irresponsible - were Apple, your business means nothing to us.
Called ahead and asked if I could walk in or did I need an appointment. After being told that I could walk in I was told I had to wait an hour to see a technician--an hour just to see a technician. I would be nice if they would tell you there will be a substantial wait when you walk in. Even if you see a technician, you will have to sit at on a very uncomfortable wood stool--hmm, maybe so you will get up and buy something? Had a much better experience at the Easton store.
I spent well over $2000 on an iMac. 5 years later the hard drive and video card both die. Seems like a steep price for a computer that barely lasted 5 years. The technical support was a mess. No one knows the price of anything even when they have the computer in front of them and taken apart. Too many arrogant people working there.
Even being an Android guy, this place is really awesome for seeing new Apple products. The Apple gurus are very knowledgeable of their product line and are more than willing to show you how to do anything related to Apple. The costs of the items are tremendous, exactly what you would expect out of Apple products, but you can find some gems there by looking hard.
You can not even call the store. You have to go to the national call center. They then scheduled my appointment at the wrong location. So after driving an hour to get there they would do nothing to help me but say get in line even when I had their rep on the phone who asked to speak with him
I tried calling the Polaris store to speak to a representative however Apple doesnt allow you to speak directly to a store rep their automated phone system keeps routing me to people who cannot answer a question about their Polaris store.. Last Saturday I scheduled a repair for my sons iPhone screen on Sunday. We arrive early and they were unable to assist us because they had too many phones. They tell us to come back within five days. Im just trying to save some time and call ahead so we dont get to the store and they tell us again they are too busy to fix the phone. Poor customer experience.
I have had apple products since they started making iPhone/iPads. Today I went into the store because I’m having trouble with my phones camera and the screen has some marking that shouldn’t be there. The store at Easton was packed so bad with people having trouble with there iPhones I went to Polaris and that wasn’t much better. When I finally got seen the lady told me that I was a month out of my warranty. I told the lady that I would pay the $150 for a refurbished phone. She said they jacked the price to $350 for a refurbished phone now and I would have to pay that price. I just think apple has gotten lost since Steve Jobs died and don’t really care about the consumer anymore.. Sad to see them just go downhill. Samsung seems to be the next one for me!! Peace out apple have fun screwing other people out of there money not going to be doing it to me or my family anymore...
As far as customer services it really depends on who you get to help you. Normally the person trouble shooting my phone is nice. But the last two times when picking up my new refurbished phone the person setting my phone back up has been rude and rushed me. The last time they told me i dont know why it has the wrong carrier listed on the top but it should work when you leave here. It didnt work and I had to go back. The last straw was going to the Apple Store because the battery wouldnt hold a full charge and they said they COULD NOT replace or fix the problem that I needed to get a new phone.Im tell you this because I left there and batteries plus bulbs replace my battery for $60.00. I really wish Apple got there stuff together!
You cannot just call the store, IMPOSSIBLE and ANNOYING, BUY A PC and avoid the control issues with APPLE. Their online genius bar scheduling is nearly impossible and beware of hitting any button as it will not give you any confirmations it will just cancel your appointment with no verification or options to adjust or change. VERY CLUNKY and OUTDATED system for scheduling any service appointment.
I had a problem with my i phone under warranty. the customer service is horrible. the customer service rep broke my phone and he asked me to pay 129 dollars for fixing it. but it was working all right but my home button is not working when we brought it to the store. so i called the manager to ask her to help. Her name was Michelle from Chicago. I dont know if it was her real name. But very horrible service she did not even listen to our issue and denied any service. better dont go here.
I went in for my daughters cracked screen. Til called first was quoted 4 different prices. The first price was 100. The the today 129. Over the phone. I got there and Jamie said the phone was 149 to be fixed. Now Im no phone expert but I would think that if you are unsure of the price you would check it. No one knows anything here. You talk to one person the price to fix the phone screen could be 200. This place is a zoo. And they are all monkeys.
I drove two hours and spend two hours in the store WAITING to upgrade and I waited and waited. NO ONE WOULD HELP ME. After an hour I was told itd be a few more minutes. I waited one more hour then I took off. This place is a joke. What a way to spend my day off after wasting six hours driving and waiting today. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
I have been to this store on a few occasions and it is so hard to find someone to help. They stand around in groups and socialize amongst themselves. I was there last night and waited my turn to talk to someone. That guy knew I was there and walked away and eventually helped someone else behind me. When I finally found someone else, he was clueless and was in a rush to leave. It seem like they have an arrogant attitude that Apple is the only thing out there. News flash, Samsung is outpacing you. Again I can only speak for the Polaris store and this has happen to my daughter and I on several occasions.
Went into the store to repair phone, was questioned by manager with hat and tattoos about why I want to fix it and does it really bother me. I left them with my phone expecting to come back an hour and a half later to find it fixed, but they did nothing with it and told me i was wrong. Now both sides of the phone have the same problem, and the Macho manager said I can take my shirt off and we can go now and told me to me to go to Samsung(I will) and call corporate office for his unprofessional behavior(i did). Dont waste you time, go to Easton.
Not impressed with the lack of customer service. I guess when people start switching to Android, then they will recognize. If Im paying for top of the line product, i expect at least decent service. If i want Walmart or McDonalds customer service, thats what I will pay for. If thats the service Im going to get, thats where I will go.
I recently had a problem with my iphone in that it had an error which caused it to be unable to turn on. I know the problem, and simply needed the technician to turn my phone off, which would force end the infinite loop error, and allow my phone to reboot as usual. I went to the store and waited patiently, and was helped fairly quickly, but instead of simply trying what I suggested, the technician told me that the LCD screen of my phone had broken, and that Id either have to replace my phone or get it repaired, and left it at that, acting condescending at the notion that didnt drop the phone. I dont really accept this response, so go to yet another technician and get the exact same result.I go home, upset with the response, and start considering what I was to do. As soon as the phone battery actually dies, I plug it in, and low-and-behold, the infinite loop ended and the phone booted up fine. Everything they told me was a lie, and they were either too lazy or too uncaring to actually just turn the phone off like I asked them, since it wasnt responding to any outside cues. Even if they had to take the battery out, that is all it would have taken, but they did nothing but act condescending and were a waste of time.
I have appointment at 1:00 6/19/2018 for replacement my I iphone x ,my phone just around 6 months old but to hot and charge to slow, I call customer service support they ok replace the phone for me and book appointment for me go to Apple store Polaris fashion mall, when I be there I waiting and I got after they check the phone and said I play the game to much that why the phone too hot. I think I pay the phone because for the game if I just need phone call I don’t have pay for the Apple. I think the Apple store in side the Polaris fashion mall can’t help APPLE customer anymore my idea is the Apple just close the store Polaris fashion mall. Thank you the Apple
Incredibly poor service. The people working here act like their own entertainment and leisure is more important than serving customers. I dont know who is doing the hiring, training, and managing here, but they need to go. A horribly run store. Customers standing around waiting, being talked down to, being made to feel unimportant. Terrible staff.
Had an appointment that was 30 miles out of my way and was 15 minutes late due to some unexpected traffic, they canceled my appointment. All they had to say was that if your more than 10 minutes late their system cancels your appointment. I had to wait an hour just to get my iPad looked at!
Thank you to Lauren who helped me with some very annoying technical issues with my devices! She greeted me as soon as I walked in and helped me with several techie items that I am not experienced with. She was patient and walked me through each item. Such a relief to have those figured out. Thanks!
If you are trying to reach support over the phone, plan on something to occupy your time while you wait, say read a book like War & Peace, Mobey Dick... You will get through both books before you will ever get a live person. If you want to buy something, they answer right away, otherwise they dont exist - at least not for the HOUR IVE BEEN ON HOLD!!!!
This is situated inside the mall. Visited couple of times and both the time had good experience. Nice staff and good response to the questions and was helpful. However personally didnt like the product I bought and returned it. No questions asked and helped it through the whole process.
I went here with the problem and they said I need to talk with manager. The manager who spoke with me have no idea about the phone issue and without knowing the issue he was keep on saying we can’t do anything about it.He was not polite and keep on saying like I came with the false issue , I have been using the phone since 6 years and never seen the service like this.I won’t recommend this and this store
HORRIBLE SERVICE employees are rude Specially EMILY AND NATHANwalking into get my phone fixed they walked on me despite my device being in warranty. I will not recommend to any one at this location will not be buying apple product based on my experience at this location
The store is located in the polaris mall on first floor down to the food court. It is near to the main entrance on right side downstairs. Opposite to VonMour. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great techincal assistance by the team. Can expect waiting on busy days but not longer than 15 mins.
If I can give them Zero star I would, the staff are new not knowing everything asking there supervisor always and the supervisor are not good they think they know everything but they are not, Im not happy at all, they where better before try to solve your problem with good customer satisfaction but now they want only to save money and they dont care about the customer satisfaction, the worse thing when they tell you this is our policy and we dont have any choice, and my issue is not solve, never going to came again, will go to other store.

2022-03-13This is one of the busiest store in the Polaris fashion mall. This one is located below the below the food court and next to van more store. This store is like typical apple store with big hall and tables for each apple specific items. I have been here n number of times as I use apple items. The staff are friendly and help you if you have any questions or doubts. If you are visiting for repairs then I suggest to make appointments online otherwise it will be long wait. Most of the items will be in stock here but it gets very busy during weekends so make sure to check online once.

2022-01-25I was honestly surprised about all the 3 star and lower reviews. I went in and immediately got greeted and was even able to make an appointment for right after I walked in. Barely even a 5 minute wait time, and the gentlemen (I forgot his name, he helped me with my Apple Pencil) was very kind and patient as he ran through several diagnostics to figure out what was wrong.Staff was very friendly and quick to help and get the issues resolved!! will definitely return in the future if I need help or plan to make a purchase.

2021-10-06The only time I’ve ever shopped at an apple store was the release day for the 13 pro max. I bought 2. Everyone was incredibly helpful that day. Leading up to the event however, lots of people I spoke with over the phone were not. One woman even told me not to show up on release day because they’re only giving out phones to those who pre-ordered (a lie). It their service is semi-quick and very friendly. I always felt welcomed there (the 2 times I visited 😅).

2022-04-24Was here about 6 months ago about my phone. A guy took it for a quick look and broke the charger in my phone. All I got was a sorry. Had to get a new phone. They covered nothing on to replace. Lesson learned don’t hand your phone over, and use caution here if you’re not checked in. I have records of my complaint to apple as well. The Easton store have way more competent reps. The manager wasn’t friendly either even though it was her rep that broke my phone.

2022-06-12The Apple store and Apple products I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! I had two Apple workers say they could get me a replacement IPhone 13 since mine stopped working, today! Then both stated they would have to send my phone in to Apple. I would lose my contacts apps photos since my phone has so many problems. I would have to return in 7 to 10 days and I could pick up a new one! Not happening so now for two months I’ve had a none working I phone.

2022-03-04Not a great experience. I booked an appointment with genius bar and came a little too early so they told me to come back at my scheduled time. That was fine, I went shopping and then came back. I just needed to drop off my computer for repair... sat down at genius bar at my scheduled time and then sat for 25 minutes with no help. I had to leave because I had another appointment. So now I have to deal with this allover again if I want my repair. Uhg.

2022-06-07Our next-door neighbor went to buy a new Apple Watch with her Apple Gift Cards, and she wanted a pink watch band too. They told her she couldnt use the gift cards or get a pink band. She ended up driving to the Apple Store at Easton and there was no problem with using her Apple Gift Cards or getting a pink band.

2022-06-19Recently, Ive only been to the Food Court area. It appeared well maintained, and soothing lighting. We had a quick bite at Chik-fil-a. Good food👍🏼, but no ice in the drinks so was warm👎🏼. Overall a good time.

2022-04-27Because of emotionless and senseless and brainwashed-ness of employee in this store, today marks my last day as apple customer. Apple’s branding is nothing else but COLDNESS. When a brand is too big they don’t work for customers anymore I guess - very very disappointed. I ended my day with throwing my brand new but malfunction Apple Watch into trash can.
