I recently bought a dining room table from Geitgeys. It was a different style than what I was use to but upon delivery I fell in love with it even more. Its absolutely beautiful and makes my room look so much better. Great quality as always from Geitgeys. The delivery and setup went very well. Thank you for a beautiful product.
Over more than a decade, my wife and I have purchased all kinds of wood furniture from this company. Coffee tables, end tables, TV tables, kitchen tables & chairs, dressers, and bed frames... if its furniture made of wood, they are our go-to vendor. They offer different wood and finish options. It does have a lead time on custom work as one might expect but the top notch quality craftsmanship is worth the wait. Highly recommended.
I went there upon recommendation of a friend to buy outdoor furniture for our church. The woman who helped me was friendly and helpful. I picked out four benches, two of which I said Id pick up in a few days in my SUV and the other two ordered for 3-5 weeks out.When I came to pick up the first two, the owner discovered that the price tags on the two were wrong, and substantially lower than the correct price. However, he sold them to me at the lower price and was helpful in getting them into my car.As expected, the second 2 benches arrived about 5 weeks later and I picked them up, again getting help loading them from the staff. The furniture is superb. It is very sturdy, looks good in our church garden and has been well received.I plan to buy additional outdoor furniture from the store in the future.Dave R
Our experience with Rod Geitgey and Amish Country Furnishing was excellent. I provided a drawing for our office built-in furniture. Geitgeys crew built and finished it off site. His professional installer, Jonas Beachy, installed all 20 pieces as if he built it on site. It looks great!! Jonas did a super job, which means the shop did a great job preparing the pieces.Many thanks to all who made the building process run smoothly.
I began shopping at Amish Country Furnishings when living in a suburb of Columbus. Since our move to the Cleveland area, I have continued to return to the Geitgeys store to furnish our bigger house. The quality craftsmanship and simplicity of style fits my 1962 home. The other reason we continue to shop at Amish Country Furnishings is the personalized customer service. The Geitgeys always work to meet the individual needs of their customers. Rod has prepared paper models to make sure large pieces can be moved into unique spaces in our home. He has arranged delivery around renovation projects. Finally, he has helped us choose the perfect pieces of furniture to meet the needs of our family. I couldnt ask for a better place to help me furnish my home.

Ive purchased several items from Amish Country Furnishings since, I believe, 1994 or so when they were located on the main road south of Route 33. I spoke with a young man about a bookcase that I wanted to use for my stereo unit, but didnt want it as deep as a bookcase. He showed me a bookcase that he could have made for me just the way I wanted it. I had no idea this was the Owner of Amish Country Furnishings. What a very nice, polite, and caring young man. Over the years I have purchased the following from them: my dining room chairs; a mattress and box springs, and a wooden rocker. The staff is great. Rod Geitgey provided us with an outstanding experience in the purchase and installation of our Weaver Barn shed. He patiently reviewed the shed options with us and answered many questions. He helped us through the selection of options. I was impressed that Rod listened to what we had to say and gave us advice for less expensive options when something was not going to work out well for us. For example, we wanted a metal roof; however, when we mentioned that the shed will sit under a Black Walnut tree, Rod pointed out that the annual walnut dropping might dent the metal roof and recommended a less expensive asphalt shingle roof as a better fit for us. Rod demonstrated that kind of attitude and professionalism throughout the purchase and installation process. We would highly recommend Amish Country Furnishings for your furniture and Weaver Barn shed needs. We will be back to his store for furniture.

My wife and I bought our solid cherry bedroom furniture (dresser, armoire, and 2 bedside tables) from Amish Country Furnishings 30 years ago. We worked directly with the owner, Rod Geitgy, and were immediately impressed with the quality, value as well as customized choices (style, type of wood and stain color). The furniture looks just as great today as it did when we bought it 30 years ago.When we started to build a new home last fall, we furnished the entire home from Amish Country Furnishings, including upholstered pieces from top furniture makers like Harden. I cant say enough good things about ACF. Rod Geitgey helped design, plan, and order a garage from Weaver Barns (ACF is the Central Ohio Dealer), and he worked with me for literally months. Plans, size, and dates all changes several times, and he was patient and thorough throughout the process. The end result was *exactly* what we were looking for. The customer service he provided was astounding. He knew details and nuances of complex questions about construction, price, warranty, options, design, and delivery. He is an expert, and hes a great guy. The rest of their inventory was so beautiful, we were thrilled to find an absolutely gorgeous dining room set during one of our several trips to plan the garage...so I am a very, very happy 2x customer, even though the second purchase was not initially planned. There was never any pressure...only his (and the stores) clear desire to get the right product(s) for my wife and me. They are so good. This was one of the most satisfying retail experiences Ive ever had. I look forward to more with Amish Country Furnishings. Thank you, Rod, and your whole team!

I had bedroom furniture delivered on a day of icy rain. My drive and walkway were covered with ice but the delivery guys came prepared with tarps to lay over the ice. They were ever so careful bringing the furniture inside and had it set up in no time. The guys were super polite and made sure to wipe their feet every time they stepped in my home.The staff at Geitgeys were very helpful, with no high pressure sales tactics. You wont regret doing business with Geitgeys and the craftsmanship of the furniture is exceptional. I will definitely be a return customer.
We recently moved and suffered from an incompetent moving company which, among other disasters, crushed the pedestal legs of our DR table. Options were replace the table and chairs entirely or find a company to fabricate and finish replacements. Several millwork experts suggested Geitgeys Amish Country Furniture in Dublin. Wow! Such wonderful and caring people. Such a perfect job! I was told it took a bit longer because they werent quite happy with the stain being a perfect match (it is)! While there, it was impossible to not notice the variety of offerings on display. If you are tired of big box and/or remote purchasing, and if you want to deal with people who care...here is where you find it!
Very nice furniture. Well made. I bought several pieces of outdoor furniture. You have to wait for things to be made to your specifications, but it is worth it! It will be the last outdoor furniture I will have to buy!

We visited the store to purchase a desk and left after ordering a desk, matching table, and mantle. We could not be happier with the service, installation, delivery, and products! With several recent home projects, this one was not only top notch but exceeded expectations.
I was discouraged when I tried to buy a butterfly marble towel holder from them. I didnt hear from them for a week, and then I was told it would be a couple of weeks before I would get my order. With my life being busy, it was almost a month before I remembered and had to contact them. 4 days later, I am told that it will be another 2 weeks. I had heard such good things about this place only to have it take 6 weeks before my item was shipped to me.Once I received the item, I was disappointed to find that it didnt do a very good job of holding up the towel by the sink. My parents have one that is great and works (bought too long ago to rememeber where) and I wanted one like it. I guess I will have to find one somewhere else.
The sales lady was so rude. I told her two of the same items were priced differently and she acted like it was my fault and obviously said the more expensive one was correct. Then when I found out the same piece of furniture was priced $55 less at furniture store down the road and she told me to go buy it there and said we only deal with certain people at this store. Do NOT purchase anything here. Stuck up and over priced.
The indoor and outdoor furniture is high quality and beautiful. We like the ability to request modifications to all the furniture, so we can make it fit perfectly in our home.

2017-08-31Amazing experience all around. Rod and his team paid careful attention to every single detail -- so the kitchen island they were making for us would match our existing kitchen cabinets. Not an easy task! When it arrived, it was absolutely perfect in every way, down to the smallest detail. Literally, its a perfect match to our existing kitchen cabinets. Their thoughtful customer service attention to detail will keep us coming back in the future.

2021-09-23Over at least 20 years I have gone to Rod at Geity’s Amish Country for furniture. I feel bad for not going more. But see it is his own fault.They sell “forever” furniture. You only need to buy so many beds, dressers, desks,mantles, wall units, and our last purchase was a beautiful dining set (3 years ago).We did buy a end table on line, about a year ago, to match the furniture we got for our new condo 12-13 years ago. Rod insisted coming out to our home to check stain, and other small intricacies to make sure the new creation would match. This was not a $1000 purchase for this small end table.To buy furniture for the same room 10 years apart and match perfectly is a huge advantage. You want your end tables, wall units to match. Both in wood grain, color, and style. That is what we got. Also the custom sizing to fit that perfect area is another great reason to shop GACF.The quality of the workmanship is unmatched. In my business I traveled through Pa. and All over Ohio. Right here in Columbus you can get that custom solid Amish furniture, and exactly what you want. (Modern or Traditional) When I purchased our dining set they had the perfect set on the floor at a great price. Unfortunately it was too big for our area and we had to have another, only smaller built. Rod extended the same percentage sale price to us!I am a plus size guy and most chairs I need the arms to help boost me up as I have leg issues. Rod made a design that bolted and re-enforced the arms. By appearance you would never know but in the case of tornado these are the chairs to sit in. (LOL)My brother not being a real Wood lover like us, has his entire patio in their Poly Furniture. A glider, rocker, table , 2 chairs and 2 chaise lounges. They are beautiful and again forever.I am not related, not sure they would even remember me, but I came across this web site and felt this was 15-20 years late in the reviewing.

2020-09-19We were extremely pleased with the entire process. The showroom allowed us to view the exact media console we wanted, along with wood and stain samples. The workmanship is excellent and the finished piece we ordered met all of our expectations. Delivery was handled in a very professional and courteous manner. 2019-06-03We purchased four rooms of furniture and accessories from Rod at Amish Country Furnishings. The customer service and the workmanship are extremely high-quality and the options in wood and leather seem endless. I’m really enjoying furnishing the home with furniture that will last a life time. I would highly recommend talking with them before you purchase anything. Really great place to work with and a fun dog to play with at the same time. (You’ll meet him once you walk in. His name is Tucker).

2017-08-31I just have to echo my husbands review. This is the third time we have ordered from them, and their customer service and product quality have always been amazing. Last time, we ordered a table and chairs and buffet. One of the items came in differently than we had anticipated (which was honestly mostly a communication error on our part) and Rod had it redone so we would be happy. Another example: We recently moved home after living abroad and the movers lost hardware for one of our pieces of furniture (which we had bought 10 years ago). Rod was able to identify the correct hardware and ship it out to us. The combination of quality and customer service is unbeatable.
