Great family fun! We have been going to Hall of Fame Lanes for 40+ years and it keeps getting better. The lanes are well-maintained, the facilities are updated and clean. I imagine that bowling alleys are being hit hard by Covid. The cost of doing business in 2021 means some sticker shock. Be prepared to spend $75-$90 for an average sized family just for bowling 2 games with no concessions. If we were paying 1990s prices again it would be 5*.
Started off paying 160$ for four people to reserve a lane for two hours. I arrived and the gentleman at the counter was friendly and gave us time to get ready before starting the clock. When we arrived to our lane other people were using the tables closest to our lane. We had to sit 4 lanes over. Plus our table was broken and the top was breaking off causing our drinks to spill. You’d think they would label the tables by lanes so people don’t steal other tables. We begin bowling and the pin setter kept missing pins, every other frame had 3-5 missing pins. This was a huge waste of money I would highly HIGHLY suggest going to park center over on applegrove vs this over priced place.
Extremely out dated. Definitely not the cleanest place. The whole place has a weird old odor that I couldnt quite pinpoint. The lanes needed reset every couple bowls because the ball either gets stuck or the pins wont reset. The staff was friendly but had little motivation.
My kids love bowling but this place changes their rates a lot! We went one day and it was more than $2 higher per game only a couple days later. I think it could be cleaned better there was visible dirt on the chairs that we didnt notice due tonthe dim ambient lighting until my son stood up and had a mark on his joggers. The staff seems friendly and there is food...but some of the patrons were inconsiderate and i think next time we will ask for a lane away from others. Overall great family time.
They are a bit expensive and we had a group of 20 and once it hit 10pm (closing time) they shut our last game down. We went there to play 2 games, cost us $360 plus bought drinks and stuff. Felt that it was RUDE to shut our games down, especially when we were almost done. That would be like If you came into my restaurant and still had half a sandwich and some fries left and I came over to your table at closing time and threw your food away and made you leave, NOOOO... my staff and I would stay past close for you to finish what you paid for. Anyway... we wont go back to AMF.
I bowl on a league here and the lady who runs the snack bar on Tuesday nights is awesome. She already knows what I want and always remembers who I am. She provides terrific customer service. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is that the lanes break down frequently and sometimes the wait to get your lane fixed can take longer than necessary. However the staff is always great and they have done a great job in keeping the bowling alley sanitized and safe as they can during this pandemic. Keep up the great work!
We had a really good time bowling. The only thing was when we had issues on our lane, it took a little bit longer for the staff to fix it, which in turn cut into our time because we went on the Monday madness night. Other than that, the food was good and our kids had a blast.
A little on the pricey side...The workers are kind and friendly. The food is great but expensive for what it is. The lanes are well made and clean and the public bowling balls are always in good condition and have a variety of great colors and sizes for everyone even small kids! The machine to work the game can be tough but employees are a great help! Can recommend even during the pandemic.
This place has some issues that management needs to really take a look at. The bowling is fine, but bowling is bowling ya kno. The problem is there are only about 4 staff total on a Saturday night. Waited in line for almost 35 minutes just to get a lane. They squeeze everyone in to one side because “we are not wanting to open up the other lanes” Worst part was the bar. Absolute worst service I’ve ever seen. Waited 1 hour and 11 minutes for a pitcher or watered down draft beer! And the crazy part is there were only about 6 people in line ahead of me. Over an hour for a simple pitcher of beer. Unacceptable for a paying customer. This place has to be making a killing because their overhead as far as payroll has to be super low! Hire some more people!
Couldnt go to a worse bowling alley. Lanes break down every 2-3 throws and no one there to help. Bowled 5 games with 3 people and took 4 hours with all the breaks to fix the lane. Charged a covid fee for masks they give out and extra cleaning supplies?? Havent heard of anything like that but anything to make that extra dollar to keep business floating..go bankrupt for all I care you selfish millionaires..also was $120 for 3 people during that time. Biggest rip-off you could imagine. Just stay home and buy the at home set, would be way better off
Overall the bowling was a good experience had some fun maybe a little pricey compared to other places. If I had one complaint it would be the concession stand we ordered a total of four chili cheese dogs and two fries and two drinks and we waited about 25 minutes for it. I understand theyre busy but if theyre going to be that busy maybe they should have more help or something it is what it is though.
It was great!!! I got a package deal for me and my family. It was 2 1/2 hours including the shoes, food, and drinks the whole time! Mike the manager was very wonder and helpful!! He kept the food and drinks coming and we never ran out. It was a fun excellent experience for all of us!! Thank you all!!!
People were fantastic, but when I reserved my party for my daughter, I was told I would get 2 lanes, and gift cards for each guest. When I got there, I was told I only had one lane reserved and would have to pay for a second. (The place was empty). We were never given the gift cards, and because we had the food replenishment plan ( where they bring out up to 3 pizzas and other food) we werent allowed to box up and take the entire pizza home that we didnt eat but paid for...so they just threw it away...smh
Originally, I was very deterred on going here due to the reviews about it being overly expensive. But, this was the only place available for open bowling on a Saturday night, so we went with it!The bowling alley was very nice. We did not have to wait at all for a lane. Shoes were new and very clean. Employees were friendly and were always cleaning up.Yes, it was expensive for one lane but we had SOOO MUCH FUN!! We went around 6pm and there were all types of people from families, to couples and then people like us young adults just trying to have fun.If you have the ability to spare a few more bucks than you usually would at a typical bowling alley then this is the place to go!
I love this place for bowling! It is a clean place for fun, where as some of the other bowling alleys in the area are far from it! The games are reasonably priced, the food from the snack shop is good, and there are plenty of other activities for kids who do want to bowl. WiFi is not available here, and so kids have to interact with other people in real time! That may be one of my favorite things about AMF!
Got a Groupon that didn’t specify any kind of stipulation about a 24 hour waiting process. Now on my only day off, I’m out $34 and out of plans for the evening. The cashier didn’t know anything about groupons which is understandable, had to ask the manager and the manager immediately straight up told me no. Policy sucks; I get it but still 🤦♀️🤷♀️ V disappointed
We were there during a tornado watch. The storm was brutal. The church kids played 2 games and the power went out and stopped the pinsetters. They got to finish the second game and the management was very kind and didnt charge for the games. Then they had to shut down the alleys to get the problem fixed. It was kind of them not to charge for our games.
This place is terrible. No vending machines and the prices are so high you cant afford to buy anything. Two10oz glasses of Pepsi was $8.08. , a pretzel is $5.19 and pizzas start at $16.00 with just pepperoni. I wont be going back there.I think that place is a joke. Highway robbery.
Ive Only Been To This Place Under 10 Times, But I Will Say This...🤔It Has Been A Nice, Friendly Place Every Time Ive Been There. 🙂The Staff Always Seem Very Nice, Polite, And Unbothered With The Fact That Theyre At Work. 😎So, Why Not 5 Stars? Thats Simply Because The Place Always Seems Like It Could Use A Good Cleaning. 🤭
The restrooms are in very poor condition and smelled really bad. The lanes were oiled very inconsistent from one pair of lanes to another pair. Machines broke down constantly and score keeping is very old technology. The food and the girls working there was by far the best part of this place.
Easily the worst bowling experience Ive ever had. They basically charge an arm and a leg for a few games. I ended up paying almost $50 for shoes and 3 games for 2 people. Ive been to plenty of places that would just charge you $25-30 for a whole hour of however much you can play and then everyone paid about $2 or $3 for their own shoes. They dont even have prices listed on their website and now I see why. AMF Hall of Fame Lanes is the WORST bowling alley Ive ever been to. Oh and I didnt even mention that it was $20 for a plain pepperoni pizza that was cardboard thin. I would recommend anywhere else other than here.
Started bowling here on a league on sunday night... Having a blast been a fun place to have a good time... The machines are a little old... But dont let that hold you back the staff is excellent at helping you with any issue you may have in a quick and timely manner... Look forward to many more night here...
Expensive bowling. Expensive drinks. Food is bad. Rude people working. Making it an overall bad experience. Go somewhere where they appreciate customers not this chain garbage place. We bought a game for 4 people and had one friend that had paid for unlimited bowling for the night play with us. This apparently was a huge deal for them. Cut our game short. Short stocky bearded employee obviously had a chip on his shoulder. Called me stupid for not understanding why we can’t finish the game. Talked down on me refused to let us finish even if we paid for the extra frames. He said we had to buy another whole game.Overall everyone felt unappreciated. It’s a shame most family owned small business alleys have closed and this is the type of bowling alley we’re stuck with.
Very pricey. Games, drinks, and food are all expensive. Dont really feel like youre getting your moneys worth here. Its clean and has lots of lanes but thats about it. Lane equipment also needs some updates. Defiantly other places to consider bowling that give you more bang for your buck.
A nice place to bowl. Lanes are solid and the food is okay. Two complaints though. One, being asked to wait (30 mins) for a lane when they clearly have (a ton of) open ones. Two, it can be expensive at certain times. Namely, weekdays (besides Tuesday) between 5 and 8.
Terrible, the prices are so high. I payed $10 to play two games, while at strike zone, I could pay $8 and play three games. Half the time is skipped my second turn, and the pin setter kept on getting stuck. I payed $8 for chicken strips and only got 4 small strips, I also payed $7 for fries, and they were the size of Mcdonalds small fries. This place is terrible, I will never set foot in there again. I was new to bowling a couple years ago, and I bought a ball from them, and they totally scammed me. I payed over $100 for a cheap plastic ball that wasnt even drilled correctly.

2022-02-20Was at this bowing center for a state tournament. I was using a brand new bowing ball, my ball got stuck in the pit I told the staff 3 times and 10-15 minutes later they brought my ball back with a chunk missing out of the surface. The general manager Mike was extremely unprofessional and refused to replace my bowling ball but only “attempt to repair it.” The second day of the tournament after the first time I threw the ball it came back with new gouges in the surface again. The pro shop agreed that the bow should be replaced at this point but the manager still refused to do so. This manager displayed horrible customer service and I highly recommend not going to this business. Clearly they do not care about customer service.

2022-03-21Decent lanes here. Old school table and chairs for seating. My ball hooks a ton on these lanes. I think they are medium to light oil. Food is a bit on the pricey side here but decent. All in all a good time

2021-06-23STRIKE! Whoo hoo..!Alright now to the business. Outside parking lot clean, and no craters to eat your car up.Inside: employees, shoes, bowling balls, lanes are all great ( no Riff-Raf, or hooligans ++) . Prices at the snack bar and restrooms are like a 7, 10 split. Not liked but there it is folks.Bob O. Thank you for stopping and having a chat. Always a plus when owner is out mingling with patrons. Will be returning 🎳

2022-04-04The food was pitiful. We paid $20 for a pepperoni pizza that had like 7 pepperoni on it and it tasted like cardboard. The wings were drenched in sauce and you could tell they were frozen out the box joints. Lets not forget to mention the water dripping from the ceiling where they were cooking the food. Just red flags everywhere smh. We bowled a few games then left. 2 stars for the game and music.

2022-03-29Run down establishment. Staff was very apologetic for the awful experience. Pinsetters continually dropped pins. Bowled on several sets of lanes and all were not functioning properly. Wall covering was falling off on sides of the alleys. Beverage prices were the highest I have ever seen. Hope to never step foot in this place again.

2022-04-27The staff was awkward, and the food is really overpriced. Especially since they charge you up front for it when you reserve a lane. Prime time is the term they use for the up charge for the lanes too. Not a horrible place but not worth the money.

2022-05-17Went there last night at 8. Sat at the bar and mentioned I was waiting on a group. Once everyone arrived by 8:20 they told us we couldn’t play because they were slow and closing down early. Then proceeded to say that they won’t be making any profit even though they easily could of made 200 off of our group from playing and buying food and what not
