Wifi didnt work. No good channels on TV. Smelled horribly stale. And there was soot on the comforter of the bed which indicated that the bedding hadnt been cleaned or washed properly. Seems at though the room was poorly cared for by everyone who stepped into it. But nonetheless it served as a convenient place to get some sleep and was as cheap as youll find for miles.
We never wrote a review from the last time we stayed here in 2019. We gave it another chance. The last time, there were cigarette butts stuck in the bath drain, and the overall room was a bit grimy. This time, while the hotel made lobby upgrades, and its a cute little lobby, the very basics of hotel stay are poorly lacking. Our door latch first off required us to struggle, twist, and furiously bang it with a shoulder each and everytime we opened it. The room was advertised as non-smoking but there was an odor of cigarettes and an underlayer smell of mold when we arrived. The carpet had a slight sticky feel beneath ones feet. The bath towels had strange stains on them, as did the top quilt on the bed. The bathroom floor had dried toilet paper stuck to it and there was hair in the tub and on the shower wall. The shower curtain had mold all along the bottom. We asked for extra towels as we left for an outing and 8 hours later when we returned we had to ask again. They required that we bring our dirty towels to the lobby. We were told they are making renovations and stated covid as a reason for a lack in regular daily housekeeping. While I have a lot of patience and understanding in most cases, a clean hotel room is pretty basic. Do I really have to pay more than $75 a night in order to get the basics? We will bite the bullet next time and just pay the $95 across the street at the Holiday Inn.
This motel is horrible. They are not honest about their cleaning schedule and to top it off my family members room was entered twice by someone other than us. On the first occasion someone had been smoking in the room and we do not smoke. On the second occasion there was a room key left that did not match the room. When we asked the staff about it they informed us the camera on their property that would show what happened didnt work. I would not recommend staying here at all. Worst experience ever!
When I had gotten a room they just had cleaned it but there was dirt or something still in the room and there was ash on one of the chairs that had not been cleaned up

Office personnel hard to find. Maid was very pleasant and helpful. Negative: Lack of advertised breakfast.

I arrived pretty late and had issues with CLC, but the night auditor at the front desk went above and beyond to get me into my room. She learned on the fly how to work around Corporate Lodging.Room was clean and cool. The lot was well lit and tidy.Lost 1 star for having no ice.

Welcome to 1993! Rooms are quite dated and worn, but clean. The staff is top-notch. Very friendly and willing to help out weary travellers. The 3 stars are in no way a reflection of the staff. They deserve 5!!!

Ive stayed here a few times over the last couple of years. Its an older place, but family owned. The owners have always been very kind, and accommodating. Its well maintained, and Ive never had a dirty room. For the cheapest place in town, Ill definitely give it 5 stars.

Made my way here from outta state to load an unload couple cars. an i didnt wanna burn a hole in my wallet for just a few hours of sleep till I got back on the road. An let me tell you what was the best sleep i ever had even slept through my alarm. they truly dont skip on cost for cleaning my room was very nice an clean an bed was nice an clean an every one was always there to help if I needed something or had a question every time I stayed. best Ive ever had hands down. Outside dated and old. Rooms are being replaced with new linens and rooms are clean. Too many construction workers lineman stay there and like to leave doors open and hangout outside of rooms drinking and smoking late at night.. not good for families or if trying to rest pay the little extra go stay across the street
REVIEW EDIT:Ive spoken with the manager about this situation and he explained that it wasnt dirt fuzz but insulation from rerunning wiring for security. Manager was understanding about my situation and compensated for the mess not being taken care of prior to our arrival. Manager is a very reasonable family man and goes above and beyond with every situation he encounters. Would definitely recommend and will continue to use this establishment.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I stay at this hotel at least once or twice a week. Ive spent over $500 in the last month here because I go to alliance to spend time with my son then get a hotel room if its dark so we dont have to drive home in the dark.Last night i stayed in room 213 and this is the second time ive had this room. BOTH TIMES I was given this room it was clear as day that it was not cleaned prior to check-in and you guys knew 5-6hrs that I was coming for the night because i reserved my room today ahead of time. I took a video to show front desk of how dirty it was when I went to check out and she closed the office door as I was walking up to the desk for checkout and I told her i needed to talk to her about my room and stood there waiting for 5 minutes before leaving a note that I was sending a video of my room at check-in to the GM.

We had a big job and stayed here for a combined 9 weeks . Sagar and his wife who run this property are very sweet and accommodating!! I had to make a lot of changes and they met all our needs !! Love the pool !! Everything is clean everyone is so helpful!! Anytime we have to come to alliance Ohio for work this is the only place we will stay !! Great customer service goes a long way with me . We had stayed here before and it was okay. Extremely disappointed this time. We booked 3 rooms and they were spread all over. So we actually had to leave one empty. And we did not receive a refund because we had booked online. There was only one towel, the shower was not working properly. There were tons of people hanging out in the parking lot being very loud. Over all very disappointing experience.

Was traveling into town for training for work. Stayed one night. Got a doubble bed smoking Room and it was very clean. Didnt stink. I did find a bullet next to the microwave tho. Only thing i can say is they do have coffee packs and tea available by the bathroom sink but nothing to brew it with. Overall great stay 5 star I will be back.
Was up a couple weeks ago for a track meet of my sons. Due to the snow, I made it in late (around 12:30 a.m.). The lady at the desk (sorry I dont remember her name) was super pleasant and got me checked in quickly. When I got to the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was and just perfect. I was in a smoking room and I never expect a smoking room to be as clean as this room was. I have been in too many NON smoking rooms that arent anywhere near as clean as this room was. It was quiet and even being alone, I felt safe. This was the best nights sleep I have had in a hotel in AGES. Doesnt stop there, though. When I went to check out, there were two ladies at the desk (I am awful with names, I am sorry!), but they were very pleasant as well. They got me checked out quickly, but we chatted for a minute and I told them I was about to go sit in the snow and watch my son at his college track meet. I was on my way out, in reverse and one of the ladies from the desk comes running out to me with a big warm, soft blanket and told me she would keep me warm for the track meet!!! Never in my life have I ever had such friendly service at a clean hotel. If I am ever in the area again, THIS is my go to place. Without a doubt. Thank you for a pleasant stay!!
I was charged 113.00 plus tax for a room that was supposed to be 55.00 room was from 1950s when I called to inquire Chris at the desk told me it was because they were fully booked and the ice machine was broke I will never waste my money here again if a price is quoted it should be honored
We came for baseball and have stayed here twice before but this time was so different. Our room was nasty. Stuff all over the comforter, rust all over the coffee pot, a broken drain in the tub, nothing was plugged in, and I’m sure I’m missing other things. And for extra fun there was a parking lot party going on outside our door all night and when I tried to call the front desk for help at 2:30 am 1) the phone didn’t work and 2) the lady at the front desk said “what do you want me to do about it?” Really? Needless to say, I would not recommend this motel at all!!

Older hotel but well taken care of and worth the money. Rented a cpl room for family reunion ,and Staff treated us like family ,very friendly. Wife passed popsicles to all pool kids they differently go above and beyond to make you stay fun. Kids enjoyed the pool. If you want a nice friendly well priced hotel this is the place for you

I thought this hotel was great. It was very clean, quiet and up to date. The beds were super cozy. They do have a pool which was great but I was on a business trip and didnt get to enjoy it. The front desk clerk was the sweetest and really made me feel welcomed. I definitely would recommend you stay here. Business or pleasure it has all the luxuries of home.

For the price it was a nice hotel. Room was clean and quiet. Had nice hot water and good heater in the room too. It had a mini fridge which was useful. I usually avoid Americas Best Value, but Id stay at this one anytime. Could have a little softer mattress, but thats more of a preference. Decent continental breakfast also.

Wasnt there long enough to enjoy the accommodations but is the bathtub was anything like the rest of the room it was substandard I dont know about any of their amenities or offerings but the bathtub wasnt even connected at the drain so I cant help much for the rest of it being any better
Extremely clean and very friendly motel, Checked in on Thanksgiving and was pleasantly surprised how nice of a little motel this is, easy access to everything in and around alliance, Staff was knowledgeable and kind. Rooms were very clean and comparable to a higher end hotel. Pool was closed but it was also 30 degrees outside, my definitely go to hotel in alliance!
I stay here in June and December every year when I come to see my grandson. The rooms are always clean and the price is right. I like that it has a fridge, a microwave and the rooms with king sized beds have a Queen Ann chair. The TV is a flat screen. I do wish the cable offered a guide instead of just blindly having to flip through the channels but honestly I hardly watch it anyway. Ill definitely be back.

Stayed here on 1/2/19 and WOW is all I can say, The manager told me they are in process of renovating their king rooms and put me in a completely renovated room, The room blew me away, Extremely clean and looked great! I have stayed here before and I liked it then but now its just amazing! Staff is all polite and caring for all my needs, I come to alliance for business and highly recommend for anyone to give them a try! Much cheaper then other hotels in alliance and definitely comparable, The breakfast is plenty for a cheaper priced hotel.
The room was exceptionally clean. The mattress was firm, and had two pillow types (a fluffy one, and a firm) The front desk was very polite and friendly. The continental breakfast is exactly what one would expect at a very cost effective hotel, but there are plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Overall, i would say great value.
I have stayed at this motel a number of times and have always found it pleasant. Not this time. The toilet in my room flushed slowly, and then backed up. No big deal, it happens. Then, when I went to make coffee in the in-room coffee maker, I found it full of dried grounds with murky water in the resevoir. Obviously housekeeping missed it. But the deal-breaker was the bedbug that scurried across my pillow as I was relaxing in bed this morning! Completely freaked out, I captured it in a foam cup and promptly took it to the office. The woman behind the counter didnt seem surprised, offered no apology, and disappeared into a back room saying she needed to tell the manager. I told her I would be back shortly to check out, but when I came back ten minutes later there was no one to be found. The bell on the counter didnt work (it was working fine yesterday), and no one came when I hollered hello very loudly. I even tried using the lobby phone to ring the front desk...still nothing. I finally gave up and left.I live in town and had stayed here for a relaxing night away from the kids. Instead of going home recharged, I went home with the creepy crawlies and my clothes tied up in a plastic bag. Room #221.

They can clean bathtub, and wash without being a request. I pay 84 dollars for much better quality than this so yeah they should be happy to serve customers and keep the rooms clean with or without guests being there. Other than that its cool for what it is. And they have cameras near the door which is a blessing if you care for your belongings. They have a swimming pool and complimentary breakfast 6-10. Many people work here or live here. I mean nothing wrong with that people have to do what they have to do and if theyre just sleeping in and staying extra days so what if they added to comfort by posting lawnchairs, ping pong, or bbq pit, this is US America. These people are cool and there are many shopping places for everything you want and need within walking distance so not having a car, even for cars to repair or buy!:)
On a good note the room was clean, the shower was one of the best Ive used traveling. It was conveniently located, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the price was right. On a bad note, the bed was the worst Ive ever slept in at a motel. Woke up feeling like I got beat up the the day after. You could hear and feel the springs.

Nice size room, they have a nice size television, we are staying in a room with a king size bed, comfortable, clean carpet no stains, nice size refrigerator, a mini coffee pot, hair dryer, some tea and coffee in room, a place to hang your clothes if needed with hangers, a chair and a foot rest, microwave, TV stand has 2 large and 2 smaller drawers to put your clothes in, they have two nightstands on either side of the bed, a little coushion bench, a full size bathtub with shower head. My family and I are very pleased and will return to this location in the future.Maid service is also great!

The bathroom was dirty, the fridge was so frozen we had to defrost to use it. The floor needed to be vacuumed. I accidentally left a few clothes in the bathroom and they were never found. They also wouldnt go with me to check if they were still there. As Im home I still dont have them. They werent misplaced. They werent very helpful and was hung up on when asked about my clothes before leaving ohio.
It was ok for sleeping but we didnt have enough towels, or toiletries, sugar for the coffee, and it wasnt as clean as it couldve been. Found a dead beetle, an empty Pepsi bottle, and cigarette wrapper under the bed. And was kinda dusty. But the beds were decent.
Had a great time here. Had a pool party. The owner and his wife were very hospitable. No issues whatsoever. Id definitely come again for another pool party weekend.

It is definitely the best for value if need a cheap room for the evening but its not very clean and a lot of loud music in the parking lot. Do not recommend you take children to this hotel.
It may be the best value but the breakfast isnt exactly continental. The mattresses are hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable. I also woke up covered in bites from bed bugs, and yes, Ive seen them..not little ones either. There are hardly any outlets and the room has an old box TV. Im staying here for work because they accept the Corporate logic card. Unless youre trying to save a few bucks, Id suggest staying at the Holiday Inn across the street or the Comfort Inn, a mile up the road.
Almost $100 a night and it’s a dump ( we only stayed cause it was an emergency ( our house burnt down) and no hotel in the area allowed dogs.. we were also charge extra $10 a night per dog🙄they advertise they offer breakfast it’s to much to write but don’t expect a “ normal” hotel’s breakfast..

The rooms are spacious and clean. They have everything youd need. Only would like to have breakfast served there in the mornings. Even though you have a microwave and fridge and a coffee pot. Its nice to have breakfast served.
Last time we will ever stay here. Room was basic. Finishings bland. Bed was very uncomfortable and bouncy. Guest very noisy, slamming door. On the positive side, the desk clerk was very nice.
It was clean, everything worked staff was friendly. It was great for a budget motel. The pet friendly part was great. They were a little slow refilling breakfast food which is why only four stars.
Ive stayed at this hotel many times while my little brother attended Mt Union and have had nothing but positive experiences. The reason I write this post I had a room booked today for his graduation and due to a family emergency had to call this morning to cancel and had no push back, threats of cancelation charges, or anything. Just simply a genuine representative that seemed to care about my situation and made the cancelation so easy. Thanks again and I will continue to use Americas Best Values!
Overpriced smelt bad holes everywhere it was just not worth another stay we walked out into the parking lot to leave and seeing caps to needles laying right there in the parking lot
I arrived early in the morning after booking a room on Expedia. When I arrived the man at the front desk told me that check in wasnt for another three hours. He decided to take it upon himself to cancel my Expedia reservation in their system and charge me for another room so I could check in early. I asked multiple times when check out would be. He assured me that I would not have to check out until the next day, however about 4 hours later I had room keeping pounding on my door telling me I had to check out. When I acknowledged the room keeper she wated at the door continuing to knock telling me I had to talk to the front desk or check out.I talked to the front desk and explained to them what the man has told me the night before. They told me that my Expedia reservation was canceled and that my room was changed to the day prior making my check out time to change. I never asked for this nor did he tell me thats what he was doing at the time. They refused to let me stay for my original reserved times and they made me check out and wouldnt even refund me the room he charged me for, so I paid twice for half a stay.Horrible customer service and whoever the jack ass was at night, he screwed everything up trying to give me something I never even asked for. Stay far away from here. For $10 more you can stay at comfort inn down the street.
Staff is functional and efficient, but not friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. We start here when out on the town and dont want to drive. Will stay again, but not a palace. Didnt try complimentary breakfast.

STAY AWAY. Shady stuff going on here. Stayed 1 night and that was too long.... People who appear to be living there. (grills and lawn chairs outside multiple rooms) There was even a guy walking around, room to room wearing an ankle bracelet.Now Americas Best Value Inn is stealing money from me, by charging an extra $250 fee for who knows what. After a call, I was told the non smoking room was smoked in, but there were 2 non smokers staying there.Hopefully this will get sorted out, We will see..... But BEWARE!

Great quality at an extremely reasonable price. Clean and updated rooms with a microwave & fridge in addition to the normal accoutrements. Very convenient to Alliance & Canton, and great parking right outside the rooms. Very friendly staff.

Dont Stay Here there Poor and the boss is a liar saying I stayed in the room 1.5 hrs when I was only there for 25 min or less. Very bad business
Im not the one who spoke of untrue things or deserved to be threatened of calling the police. Especially directly after confirmation that my room was paid for and then told someone else had reservations. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!>>>>>>>---------
Yes the staff nice here clean. And you could have you dogs here for fee and can stay for little while if have to god bless the place on close to stores place eat snd

Really good place. Friendly people. Clean rooms lounge and place to get snacks and drinks. Around stores for shopping and restaurants. Great View. Swimming pool so much more.

We checked into this place ....the rooms had a bad odor....the beds are low quality....we thought wed try to tuff out the night but the smell was too much to handle....explained we had to go after a half hour and they would not refund any of our money....not a good place

2022-05-13100% recommend this motel to anyone staying in alliance. Management and all staffing are kind and welcoming. Rooms are 100% updated, clean and quite. You are right in the center of alliance, close to restaurants however, very quite for a great nights sleep. The pool is about to open for summer as well. Definitely the best motel around!!

2022-04-29Positive: The room was very clean although it did have a horrible smell to it but nothing some Lysol couldn¿t fix. The bed was very comfy . Negative: I was placed at this hotel due to a domestic violence issue the staff saw me there and then contacted my abuser to let them know where I was . Very unprofessional and uncalled for as I had to be moved once again after terrible threats .

2022-05-19Room was clean, very dated, tile in bathroom was loose, hard bed but it was just a quick overnight stay. Breakfast was ok. Recommend for an overnight, wouldnt for longer

2021-12-16Positive: Staff was super friendly. Check-in/check-out was easy. Coffee in lobby was good. Beds were comfy, lots of pillows. Overall decent offerings for price. Negative: Bathrooms were kinda gross but staff said there¿s plans for upgrades next year!! Plug next to sink didn¿t work.

2021-08-31Over all it was a very nice stay. The staff was very accommodating from morning till night. We have a 2yr old daughter.. She spilled her sippy cup around midnight in our bed , our last night there Once I spoke to the concierge she immediately was making sure we had everything we needed to get bk to resting comfortably. The pool was clean and had a nice setting. Breakfast was very good.Our family enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Thanks again American Best Value staff for making our stay as nice as it was. We stayed 8/29-8/31 Room 217

2021-09-10Ive been driving a truck for 31 years now, and Ive stayed at a lot of hotels, but this is by far the best hotel Ive ever stayed at. The bed is very comfortable, the rooms are nice and up to date. Great TV channels the staff is very friendly, breakfast is good in the mornings. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Whenever my wife and I are up this way again, we will be staying here. Thanks again for a wonderful stay

2021-11-09Positive: The Only good about this motel was carpet. Negative: The bathroom had black mold everywhere around tub/shower. the tub/shower finish was peeling away from the surface it also had stains and mold under the finish was pealing. The bathroom was so disgusting we didnt take a shower. The was no smoke alarm.

2021-09-26We usually stay here when in town. For the most part the stays used to be nice. We have noticed thru the years the hotel has declined. This time our room smelled horrible. The mirror above the sink was filthy. There was old food in the drawer beside the beds. Also debris, cup and fake fingernail in dresser. Pretty sure room was not cleaned at all for a while
